-You were great on the Emmys

the other night with Tiffany Haddish.

Look at this. You're doing the...

That's a good photo right there. -That's my girl.

-Now, did you know Tiffany before this?

-You know, I knew Tiffany before this,

about six months before she broke, before she hit it.

-Yeah. -I saw her at a comedy show.

It was all guys and Tiffany, and I was so blown away by her.

She was hysterical.

And I made my way backstage

and I had to find her and just tell her I loved her.

And then, six months later, it's like she was everywhere.

-Right? I mean, she is so funny.

You surprised her? -I did.

I was doing a movie here in New York this summer,

and Tiffany was doing like 10 movies here this summer.

And I was -- one morning early, about 8:00 a.m.,

I was coming up the elevator, and one of her assistants

was in the elevator, and I didn't know her.

I was just like, "Hey, sis."

And she said, "You know Tiffany's in this building.

Want to say hi?" I was like, "I'd love to."

Let's sneak in on her, you know?"

So I went up to her floor, and it was a long hallway.

-What time is it? -8:00 in the morning.

Very early.

And she's getting ready for something.

She's glamming. There were people are there.

And I'm like, "Shh."

So, they're like...

I'm going, "Shh, shh, shh."

Sneaking down the hallway. Came around the corner.

I was like, "Is she ready?!"

-She ready. Oh, yeah.

-It was like... And we grabbed each other.

We were just hugging. We fell down on the floor.

We just like... -She's the greatest.

-So happy to see her.

I was like, "What you cooking, girl?"

She was like, "Steak, adobo, seasoning.

I had to bring all my stuff with me -- my pots, pans.

You want some?"

I was like, "No. Not steak this early."

-She makes steak at 8:00 in the morning?

-Oh yeah. -Oh, my gosh.

-That's how she does it. -She's the funniest.

I mean, come on.

To have Angela Bassett surprise you would be enough.

I got to say, congrats on "Black Panther."

You were just... [ Cheers and applause ]

Not only were you fantastic, but the movie was great.

-Thank you.

I mean, look -- I mean, did you have any idea

it was going to be this epic, like, this giant?

-Not to this degree, no. -I mean, really.

-I mean, while we were making it,

we knew it was something special.

We were having a good time on the journey, you know,

rehearsing, doing all that, and meeting each other,

falling in love with each other.

The cast, Ryan, our director, the entire crew.

We knew, you know, the fan-boys and -girls --

they were going to be, you know,

real strict about you getting it right.

So we were getting that part right.

But for it to blow up the way it has from, like --

-I mean, just -- Was it last week you met the fans?

Where were you speaking? -I did.

Oh, I was in Detroit, at a women's empowerment expo.

And I was, you know, the speaker.

So I was, you know, speaking about women's empowerment.

And below me at the stage, there were these girls standing there.

They were all dressed like the Dora Milaje.

They were there for the Queen Ramonda.

-They're protecting you.

And you posed, you took a picture with them.

-Yeah. -I mean, how cute is that?

-Yeah.

-They made their costumes. -They did.

They did pretty well. I was impressed.

I was impressed with the costumes.

-That's so cute. -Looks like the real deal.

-How is your husband doing? -He's doing great.

He says hello. He adores you.

-I love Courtney B. Vance so much.

Please give him my love and tell him I love him so much.

-I will.

-Let's talk about -- I've got to talk about "9-1-1."

-"9-1-1." -This Sunday.

-And Monday. -And Monday, as well?

-Yeah. Two parts. -A double whammy.

-Yes, yes. -A two-part jam.

-Yeah. -You get into it in this show.

-I do.

I mean, it's, you know, all these experiences

of first responders, firefighters, policemen,

you know, dispatchers.

So, we open with a big season opener of earthquake.

You know, like the freeways fall.

I'm saving some guy in a flipped-over car

and I'm reaching in there

to try to pull him out before it blows.

And I decide I can't pull him out.

So, okay -- You know, we did it about five, six times,

but the seventh time, of course,

I'm going to put some extra on it, some extra drama.

I pull myself out.

And I see my hand is bleeding real blood,

and I'm like, "But keep going.

Keep going."

'Cause, otherwise, we're just going to have to do it again.

-Really?

-And they said, "Okay, cut." And I looked.

It was, like, bleeding. -Yeah.

-And I was like, "It's really bleeding.

It's really dripping." -You bled for that show.

-"Call the real doctor! I need a real tetanus shot."

-Are you a real doctor? Oh, my gosh.

"No, I'm an actor." Yeah, exactly.

Is there any real doctors on set?

But it's like a giant movie, these productions, these shows.

-It is, every week.

-Man, you crush it.

And I know Jennifer Love Hewitt is on this season.

-She is a new cast member. -I love her, as well.

-I want to show a clip.

I love coming to your show. -I love having you here.

And I also love that "The Voice" is coming back.

-So, this is your second season. You won your first season.

-It was one of those things -- Well, Blake and I made a bet.

If I won, he had to call me Queen Kelly Clarkson.

And if he won, I'd have to shut up for five minutes.

I mean, I had to perform at his bar to get him to say it,

-Yeah. -So in order for him

to call you Queen, you had to, like, go do a gig.

-I had to go to Ole Red. That's what I had to do.

-They just released a clip online,

I think either yesterday or today,

of this wonderful 13-year-old... -13, yeah.

-...who's got this incredibly powerful voice.

-Yeah. -And it seemed like,

based on the way you guys were talking,

and this will obviously be in the show

when it premieres, but you guys were all blown away.

-We were. We all kind of took our time

turning around, too, 'cause...

Well, we were first all blown away that she was 13.

And then, when you turn around and you even noticed it,

you can tell she's young but not that young.

But still, even if we thought she was like 16,

we thought, "God, your voice is so lived in."

-When she said she was 13, I believe you

got out of your chair and went and walked around.

-I was -- 'Cause then you picture yourself at 13.

-Yeah. -And you're like, "What?"

[ Laughter ]

I -- What? -Yeah.

I still was, like, braces, acne, glasses.

There was a lot going on, like, and she's...

She's beautiful, as well. -Is it against the rules --

Do they tell you never get out of your chair?

Is that a big thing?

-I'm gonna get fined a lot of money.

-Is it like an airplane situation

where you're not allowed to get up or anything?

-No, I think they love when I get up and hit Blake.

[ Laughter ]

I think they welcome that.

-You are going on tour in January.

-Yes. -And you're going on tour

with last year's winner, right?

-Brynn Cartelli and Kelsea Ballerini.

-That's fantastic. She's wonderful.

I love having her here.

-Whole Lotta Woman -- that's like the tour, man.

There's a lot of women. [ Cheers and applause ]

-And she's 15. -Yeah, yeah, she just turned --

She was 14 on the season.

Adam was actually like, "Can 13-year-olds audition?"

We were like, "What?"

But, yeah, it's incredible. And Brynn is --

It's cool about our tour because --

I was kind of nervous 'cause I'm like,

"Whoa, that's a lot of females," but then it was like,

we bring something so different to the stage.

-Sure. -And how our production is

and how we're gonna see that through.

It's so different. And it's just -- I don't know.

I think you get to an age, too, where you love

just hanging out with people you love.

You want to work with people you love.

-And she's -- -Which is why I'm here, Seth.

-Oh, thank you. -I love you.

-So, here's Brynn hanging out with your daughter, River.

-Yes. -And looks like --

River's getting it pretty good there.

That's like a mini concert.

-She -- Well -- [ Chuckles ]

Until she told Brynn, "Shh. It's River's turn.

-And then she serenaded Brynn. -Oh, wow.

So River has a lot of confidence.

-She has a lot of confidence issues. No.

No, she's just really bold, and she loves people.

And Brynn was laughing so hard at that.

-And your son's name is...?

-Remy. And he's drumming in the car.

-That's great. And then, uh --

-And then there's Henry. -Henry your dog, yes.

-Who can't see. His hair.

I couldn't get him a haircut yet.

-Do you -- When you go on tour in January,

will the kids come with you? -Yes.

I mean, all four usually come out at some point,

but the two younger ones are pretty much with me.

They're in school now, but it's like a weekend thing,

so, yeah, they'll probably come out.

And our 11-year-old goes on stage sometimes.

-What's that? -Our 11-year-old goes on stage.

Seth has been on stage on one tour with me.

-And does he just wander on, or is it planned?

-No! [ Laughter ]

He's so funny.

He goes and like high-fives the ladies,

and he's like, "They love me." [ Laughter ]

He's, like, ama--

None of our kids suffer from confidence --

It comes honestly. -Yeah, exactly.

Do you introduce him when he comes out on stage?

-Yeah. No, he came out --

Well, it's funny 'cause we started with

my background singers.

They were like, "Yeah, you can stand with us."

And then he like, after the one time was like,

"So what song am I singing next? Can I go out on the team?"

He's hilari-- But he's actually really good.

-That's fantastic. -Yeah, yeah.

host a day-time talk show... -I am.

-...which is absolutely thrilling to me.

-I'm excited. I'm excited.

-We were saying y-you have one fear

about being a talk-show host. -I think everyone knows

that fear. -And it's basically what Blake

was -- the bet with Blake was about, right?

-[ Laughs ] He was like, how are you gonna do a show

where you don't shut up? -[ Laughs ]

-Like it's like, you're gonna have to listen to your guests.

-Well, so that's -- I mean, because you are a talker...

-Yeah. -...and part of being

a talk-show host is also listening.

-Yes. -Do you want to switch seats,

real quick, and see how it goes? -Yes. I will.

-Okay. Great. I'll come there and you go around that way.

But I can tell you from someone who hosts a show like this,

I am smart enough not to say that name on air.

-I knew you would be smart enough.

-You don't want to poison the well, you know.

I know, but the well, I've heard,

I've been asking other hosts, they're like,

"Oh, it's horrible when you get some people."

and I'm like, "Oh, God." I'm dreading it. But I've --

-But you're, you're great, because since you're a talker,

the problem when you have a bad guest is that you have to

do the talking, but you're -- that's never gonna be problem.

-I hope I get a lot of bad guests!

-Yeah. -[ Laughs ]

-I think ultimately what you should do is you should say

something like, "What's an embarrassing childhood memory?"

and when they don't have one, then you go,

"Well then, I will tell you one of mine."

-I'll use mine. Because there's a plethora.

No, this is a real question, this is a serious one.

-Okay, Good. Oh, and that's great.

When you have a serious one, you lean in.

-I lean in. -Yeah, it's great.

-I'll lean into the mic. -Okay. Good.

Would you ever run for public office?

-No. -No?

Tell me a little more about it. -My honest answer to this is

I love Americans, I really do. -Yeah.

-I think we're really a terrible group of people to govern.

on the middle, as far as what we agree on.

And, yeah, it just seems like a real pain in the ass.

-[ Laughs ] You're like, "So I wouldn't sign up for that.

or was "SNL" harder? -Uh, "SNL" was harder than this,

because being head writer.

I will say being head writer was the hardest job I ever had.

-Did you like how I threw that in there, 'cause it was like

when they say something about themselves.

Everyone Is Here by Bang Tutorial - The KineMasters - Duration: 4:12.

Tap Start, then tap Media to import your video clip.

Find the frame you want to use. Tap the clip, then Capture, then Capture and save frame at playhead.

The location of the captured frame will be displayed. (Different for Android and iOS)

Tap Trim/Split, then Trim to the right of the playhead.

In a photo app (This one is called Eraser), use their tools to erase the background of your captured frame.

Tap Media, (then Photo on iOS), then Background to pick a background color. We're using KineMaster Red.

Tap the background clip, then add a vignette.

We're going to add an ink splash and position it. You can make your own or check the description below!

Tap Media to add your cut out from before!

Tap Layer then Text to add your text lines. Position them with the handles and tap Font and Color to change the style.

Tap Audio and then add your sound effect. (Included in the resource pack!)

Resize and position your cut out image.

Tap the image and then Keyframe. This adds keyframe at the start of the clip. Move to about 5 seconds. Move your image, or tap Add Keyframe. The cut out image will animate between the keyframes.

Tap the splash, then keyframe. Repeat the steps. KineMaster will animate the selected item linearly between the position, rotation, and sizes selected at each keyframe.

Repeat for the text layers. Make them move the opposite direction to the splash to make them stand out.

In summary, make the cut out and the splash move one way, opposite of the text. Make the cutout and splash grow as well.

Tap to load the transition menu. Select Fade through Color and choose White. Set the time as low as possible.

Next add your music. (You're going to have to get that on your own!)

Let's play it through to hear it!

Perfect! Now, move to 5 seconds and trim the background to make our video 5 seconds long. That's it!

OECD downgrades 2018, 2019 forecast for global economy to 3.7% - Duration: 2:13.

The OECD downgraded its forecast for the global economy...

citing escalating trade tensions and tightening financial conditions in emerging markets.

Although the U.S. is the source of those trade frictions... it had the brightest outlook

among major developed economies.

Kim Ji-yeon help us look beyond the numbers.

The OECD has lowered its 2018 forecast for the global economy from its May projections

by zero-point-one-percentage-point to 3-point-7-percent... citing escalating trade tensions and tightening

financial conditions in emerging markets.

According to its biannual Interim Economic Outlook report released on Thursday... that

focuses on the growth outlook of the G20 group of industrialised countries... the OECD lowered

its 2019 projection for the global economy by zero-point-two-percentage-points to 3-point-7-percent

for the same reasons.

The U.S. was expected to be the fastest growing of the G7 group in 2018... maintaining its

2-point-9-percent growth projection for this year....

thanks to tax cuts, government spending and steady job growth.

The OECD cut its forecasts for the two biggest eurozone economies of Germany and France...

mainly due to sluggish demand following an industrial recession.

The thinktank projected Japan to stay on course to maintain its one-point-two-percent growth

rate for this year and next year... on expanded investments... but said recovery in consumption

remains weak.

The OECD meanwhile lowered its 2018 forecast for the Korean economy by zero-point-three-percentage-points

to two-point-seven-percent... and downgraded its 2019 forecast by zero-point-two-percentage-points

to 2-point-8-percent.

The thinktank said Korea's domestic consumption remains steady despite intensifying global

trade tensions... but advised the local government to pursue expansionary fiscal policies to

help raise household income.

It also said that China's weaker currency had so far helped the country absorb the impact

of higher U.S. tariffs, leaving its forecasts for the Chinese economy unchanged at 6-point-7-percent

for this year and 6-point-4-percent for next year.

S. Korea's producer price index hit highest level in nearly four years - Duration: 1:29.

Local farmers were hit hard by the record heatwaves this summer.

The sizzling conditions led to spike in prices of meat and produce, which in turn raised

overall producer prices.

Kim Hyesung has the full story.

Korea's producer prices hit a four-year high in the month of August.

The Bank of Korea says, the producer price index, a barometer of future inflation, reached

105-point-43 in August, up half-a-percent on-month... to hit its highest level since

August 2014's 105-point-57.

Compared to the same period last year, the index is up three percent.

The price of agricultural goods jumped over 18 percent in August, making it the biggest

on-month jump since September 2010...as vegetable production was hit by the hot weather.

Prices of watermelons went up by 50 percent, cabbage 91 percent and spinach... a whopping

223 percent.

Livestock prices also went up three-point-five percent , with egg prices jumping near 36

percent... while prices of marine products dropped by about four percent on-month.

Prices of industrial goods, electricity and gas edged up zero-point-one-percent.

The price index for the services sector also went up zero-point-one percent on-month on

higher restaurant and hotel prices during the summer vacation season.

S. Korean government announces new housing supply measures - Duration: 2:30.

The South Korean government announced plans in August for building 300-thousand extra

homes to curb soaring house prices.

And on Friday, it revealed the specific public housing sites where 35-thousand of these homes

will be built.

This follows the government's stronger countermeasures on speculative housing practices released

earlier this year.

Our Ko Roon-hee explains.

The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport on Friday revealed fresh measures to stabilize

Korea's housing market.

"The overheating housing market stems from two reasons.

Many South Koreans are excessively concerned about the short supply of housing...which

is different from the objective data.

Also, they have certain anxieties when it comes to having homes of their own."

The new plan includes supplying 35-thousand homes in 17 areas in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi-do

Province.

It aims to provide more than 10-thousand affordable homes just in Seoul… in Songpa-gu District,

Gaepo-dong in Gangnam-gu district, and at 9 other sites…which haven't been made public

yet.

The districts will be confirmed after public inspection and the homes will go on sale starting

2021.

Details about the remaining 265-thousand proposed homes will be announced by early next year.

The ministry also announced the areas where these additional homes will be built.

200-thousand homes will be built in four to five big residential sites located between

Seoul and the new towns of Ilsan and Bundang.

An economic expert says the supply is still low, compared to the number of people who

want to invest in housing because of the low interest rate.

"The government's new plan will have little impact on the housing market in the short

term.

This is because the number of homes supplied is low...compared to demand.

And building big residential sites in Seoul will take a long time."

Meanwhile, no greenbelt areas are included in the new plan but the ministry said it will

continously work with the Seoul city government to lift building restrictions on greenbelt

land.

"Through these measures to increase housing supply, the government hopes to curb soaring

house prices, and hopefully reduce the country's massive household debt, estimated at one-point-three-trillion

U.S. dollars.
