Thank you for speaking to India aware about your journey from Nepal to India.
Please tell us a little bit about when your journey began and what type of struggle you faced?
When you want to grow something then many problems come in everyone's way,
such as financial problems.
When I started this, my financial condition was not good.
You can understand that a 16-year-old boy who wants to do something has to do things that he can't even understand.
So it was very difficult for me.
Will you tell me a little about where you are from Nepal and how you came to Delhi
I am from Kapilavastu in Nepal. It is very close to the border of India.
I came to Delhi at the age of 16 and then did my graduation from here.
To accomplish my dream I first created some small goals in my life.
I accomplished those small goals.
Then I established the URS production. First of all, it was very difficult for me to manage the finance singularly.
India has always been a great friend to Nepal since its independence
and India Nepal government's relations are good and has improved after the friendship treaty of 1950.
. This allows for open borders as well as free transit of Indian Nepali citizens across each other's borders.
What do you think of this free exchange between the countries?
It is very good that among the two countries, Nepalese can come to India and Indians can go to Nepal.
It is a great thing that when we go to Nepal, we do not have to change the Indian rupee.
We can buy anything from them in the normal shop.
There is love among people and which is understanding between the two countries is very good.
URS production has been somewhat of an interesting idea for starting a business here in Delhi.
. Tell us a little bit about your business.
It is a place where small children will become stars.
Today our company works on four things.
At the first place where we teach dance and theater
Second Event
third is Health and Wellness
We are also working on the product.
We are building a website where you will get all the accessories for the wedding in your local area.
How big is your staff?
I now have a staff of 10 to 15 people
Is this a mixed staff?
Yeah
How much Indians and Nepalese are there?
2 Nepalis and 12 Indians.
What kind of problems do you face when you were starting business in Delhi
At first I did not have so much money. Also, I was not familiar with the environment here.
I used to think how do I talk to people, because there was also trouble in my communication.
After experiencing all the problems, we got to where we needed to.
Being a Nepali, you probably had a lot of problems in registration and so how did you face it?
When you have your identity card, there is no special problem because the Indian government is a very good government,
but a lot of luck has to be done. You meet some officers and have to struggle a little.
Sometimes, people will complain against you, but if you are doing no wrong, you will succeed.
How do you feel the business climate is now in India under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
We understand that he is quite popular in Nepal as well and India right now seems to be one of the fastest-growing economies in the world.
Did this fast-growing economy influence your decision to come to Delhi to start your business?
I always support Narendra Modi's government. After the arrival of Modi Government
there are many opportunities for the youth as they can take loan and startup.
Modi government is doing its best and encouraging new youth entrepreneurs
Over 2.9 million Nepalese stay in working India and contribute to Indian society
Many more Nepalese are impressed by the Modi government and transformation to digital India
How do we feel about more Nepalese coming to work all over India?
If someone comes to India with his dream then there is a lot of place for him.
Like if he has to run a hotel or if he is opening an event management company,
he is getting support for everything here.
India's government and people of India give great support.
Because the relationship between India and Nepal has deepened. And people of India also rely on Nepalese
India was one of the first countries to send a so much aid and to help Nepal in its reconstruction post the earthquake.
During that time there was a huge scale protest against Indian media because Nepalese felt that they were invading their privacy.
All our good work went down the drain. How do you feel about this?
Both India and Nepal are independent countries and often
, there can be some problems in both the politics.
Whatever happens is due to misunderstanding of Politics and Politicians,
Indians are now proud of Jitu Rai who was originally a Nepali and became Indian CITIZEN to represent India
and various international championships. He is now winning golds for India at various championships.
How do Nepalese feel about this?
It is very proud to hear this and for someone sitting in Nepal it sounds so good to hear it
Now that you're back in India, tell us what you miss about Nepal? Tell us a little something about some of the food dishes that you miss?
The atmosphere of the mountain that is there, I miss too much. There is not much pollution on there. I love the mustard greens there.
Do you find that Indians have been welcoming to you since you got here?
Have you had any help from the Nepalese embassy in coming here to set things up for yourself?
What would you tell Nepalese what trying to follow their dream of starting up a business for themselves in India?
I did not get anything from Nepali Embassy because I did not even have an idea.
. So I was busy in my work.
But for the youth who are coming, if he comes and contacts the embassy, then he can get support.
Even if they come here and talks to a investor, they can also get a lot of support.
