Youtube daily Sep 7 2018

-It's New York Fashion Week. -Yes, it is.

-It's Fashion Week here. -Yeah.

-So, thank you for being on the show during Fashion Week.

-Of course.

-I know you're the ambassador for -- for Longchamp.

-Mm-hmm. -And that's a big deal.

-Yeah, I'm super excited. It's their 70th year.

So, to be a part of that is really cool.

-Wow! 70 years. -And...

Yeah, I'm going to their show in a couple days.

-They don't fool around with these.

-No. -This is --

I took some stills from the commercial that you're in.

And it's you and a horse.

[ Light laughter ] -Yeah.

-And this is just to show just how --

I know everyone tells you how beautiful you are,

but, I mean, look at this. -Oh.

-This is -- If this is me standing --

This is gorgeous. I mean, what?

What are you, and is that a real horse, and what's happening?

-Yes. [ Light laughter ]

-And, I mean, looks like you got connected.

It's like you're the Horse Whisperer.

[ Light laughter ] -No.

It was -- It was super fun.

I -- I've been a huge horse person my entire life.

I've literally ridden since before I can remember.

So I have a very strong connection with horses,

and being able to shoot that was like a dream come true,

'cause I had always said before I ever started modeling

that I'd -- I love working with animals,

and I want to work with animals, especially horses.

-Wow. -So it was just really cool.

And it was, like, so dreamy in the streets of Paris,

running around.

It was really cool.

It was actually super interesting --

the way they, like, trained the horses.

So, they would have, like, one horse,

which was the only one on camera,

and then the other -- it had, like, a best friend.

The other one would stand on the other end,

so, to get it to, like, walk around and have to run to --

-And, like, make faces and be like, "Ah! Hi!"

-[ Laughing ] Yeah. -"Smile! Smile!

Over here! Over here!" [ Laughter ]

"Honey!" Yeah. -Sort of.

-"Show me."

-But, basically, to get the horse to do what they wanted,

they'd use the friend, the best friend,

to, like, get it everywhere. -How --

-So it was just cool to see the whole thing.

-How crazy is that?

And how fun is this? -Yeah.

-And you're handling it all well, I will tell you,

because we've had you on the show --

I've known you for a long time now

and just watched your career rise and rise,

and you kept your head in the game, and you're --

congrats on that. -Thanks.

-I think it's -- that's very cool.

-Thank you. -So, thank you for being cool

and not letting it go to get too crazy.

-[ Laughing ] I try. -Yeah.

Well, you have a -- I have a video,

because you have a hidden talent.

-Okay.

-Not only are you a supermodel...

-Yes. -...but you also --

you can high-kick beers. -Oh, my goodness.

[ Light laughter ] -And it's -- it's -- no.

If you think she's cool now...

Do you know what I'm talking about?

-I know what you're talking about.

-Or, now -- now, what -- where were you,

and how did it go down, and when did you get inspired to...?

-So, it was my friend's birthday.

We rented a house in Malibu. I was -- I had some tequila.

And I -- You know when you --

you know when you get a little bit drunk

and you just... -No.

-...you have superpowers? -No, I don't. I don't.

[ Laughter ] No, I don't. I don't.

-Every -- Any -- Everything and anything is possible.

-[ Laughs ] Yeah.

-So, I don't know -- I don't think I have any skill.

It could have been the height, but it was probably the tequila

that -- that -- that's made this possible.

-I just want to show this. -[ Laughs ]

Please, this is Kendall Jenner. Just watch this high kick.

-Aim for the ear. Aim for the ear.

Aim for the ear.

-If you put it on, it better stay.

-[ Laughs ] -Aim for the ear.

-Oh! [ Laughter and applause ]

-Oh, my God!

-Dude, that is dangerous! That is dangerous.

-I know. -Dude.

But do you know karate or anything?

Like, that is so dangerous.

My friends goes, "Aim for the ear."

I'm like, "I'm not gonna hit him in the face."

-"Aim for the ear"?

That guy was like, "Why am I doing this?"

But I guess I get that.

It'd be like... But you cleared it.

-No, and the celebration made it all better.

Everyone was also, like, equally on my level of tipsiness, so...

-Ah.

-We were just all very excited about it.

-I was like -- We were like, "Dude, come on the show

and do it -- do it on 'The Tonight Show.'"

-I know, so they... [ Laughs ]

So, they text my -- my agent,

and some of my friends were like,

"Oh, you should do that on -- on Jimmy's show."

And I was like, "Okay, cool."

Before I ever responded, I, like, go to my bathroom.

First thing in the morning when I wake up,

I go in my bathroom, and I'm, like, looking in the mirror.

I'm like, "Okay, he's a bit taller than my friend.

Like, I wonder how high I can actually, realistically kick."

-Yeah.

-So, I'm sitting in my bathroom by myself,

and I just give it my all.

I throw my leg in the air... -Yeah.

-...fully fly off the ground --

my whole body comes off the ground --

fall onto the floor.

I have a little scab. I don't know if you can see it.

It's kind of going away now, but I fully fell.

-Oh, my God! I can see it. You really did?

-I've got a scab. I'm not kidding.

And I sat on the floor for 10 minutes,

just laughing at myself,

and texted my agent back -- I was like, "No."

-"No, not gonna happen." -No, no.

-"Yeah, no, not gonna happen." [ Laughter ]

'Cause your friend Hailey Baldwin came on our show.

-Yeah. -And, man, we loved her.

-She's awesome.

-She was so charming and so beautiful and -- and nice.

And I said, "She has a hidden talent."

And she -- -Oh, God. I hate her for this.

-It is so cool.

-She makes me so nervous when she does this.

-She opens a beer bottle with her teeth.

-She -- I yell at her every time 'cause it makes --

it hurts my teeth. -Yeah.

-And I'm just like -- -Everyone else here, too.

-I'm like, "I love you, but, God, this is crazy."

And she just -- -And you're a model.

-I was like, "No, it's cool." -Dude, that --

Your teeth are your... -I know.

-You can't be like, "Hey! How are you doing?"

You know, it's like... -I know. I mean, she's --

-You're not gonna be posing with any horses if that happens.

Yeah. -She's amazing,

but I get so angry at her when she does it.

I'm like, "You're so pretty. Don't [bleep] your teeth up."

-Oh, yeah, well... -I'm sorry. I said [bleep]

[ Laughter ]

-Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. [ Laughter and applause ]

-[ Laughs ]

-You're not allowed to say "teeth" on our show.

You're really... [ Laughter ]

-Sorry.

-Are you happy her and Justin Bieber are engaged?

We love Justin Bieber. -Yeah.

We're friends. We're pals with that dude.

But I think it's perfect. They're so in love.

-Yeah, whatever makes them happy, I'm happy.

I've been friends with both of them for a very long time, so...

Everybody's happy, and that makes me happy.

-You have -- You have that in your life,

and you have three beautiful new nieces.

-Yeah. -I mean, you -- What a year.

-Whole lot of love going on.

-A lot of babies. -Yeah.

-Just be honest -- between us, do you have a favorite baby?

[ Laughter ]

No -- No one has to know.

-I won't name names. -This won't go anywhere.

This won't go anywhere. Trust me, I swear.

-We're in a safe place, right? -Oh, yes.

No one watches "The Tonight Show."

I mean, please. [ Laughter ]

I'm just -- No, you can -- -That's not true.

-You can -- No, I'm just kidding.

You can say it, but I wouldn't say anything,

but it's Khloé -- it's Khloé's baby?

-I'll tell -- I'll tell you later.

-All right, you'll tell me later. Perfect.

Stephanie Ruhle Accidentally Said "Fart" on Live TV - Duration: 4:15.

-You were in business for a long time

before you were in television.

What is your take, you know,

coming from the world of finance,

is this idea of Trump is a great businessman,

is it a mirage or is there something to the idea

that he was good at this other thing before he was President?

-Well, if you were to compare him to Mitt Romney,

when Mitt Romney ran,

all of his peers in private equity backed him.

When President Trump ran,

you didn't see anyone from the big real-estate universe.

You didn't see any big New York business people back him.

You saw people in middle America who wanted a change.

And the thing is he did a brilliant thing

in that he went to see them.

Those rallies were in places where I haven't visited.

I don't know if you visited.

And it gave people hope.

The twisted thing is he gave them hope

without an actual resolution.

He had the smarts to say,

"I'm gonna solve income inequality,"

but he's not doing it.

When he says, "I'm gonna go after trade,"

that's a good idea.

There are issues. China?

Yeah, there's problems there,

but what he's actually doing makes no sense.

If he said, "Intellectual property

or artificial intelligence,

we're gonna go after that."

President Trump, if you asked him about A.I., no joke,

he would think it was a steak sauce.

-Yeah. [ Laughter ]

-So what he's offering the American people --

[ Cheers and applause ]

He's a brilliant marketer with no real solutions,

and the country needs solutions.

-You know, he falls back on the economy every time

it seems like he's cornered.

Is there anything missing because like you said,

consumer confidence is up, you know, business confidence is up.

Is there an argument to be made that he's making a fair point

when he says, "Hey, despite everything

and despite how it's a circus at the White House,

the economy is good,"

or is there something that he's leaving out there?

-Well, there's something to remember.

The economy was good before President Trump took office.

It was a slow and steady climb out of the financial crisis.

What Obama didn't do was sell it very well.

He's a -- somewhat of a, not a soft-spoken guy,

but certainly more humble than Trump.

Everyone is.

-Yeah. [ Laughter ]

-And when Trump says things are great

and it's trickling down, it's not.

We have lots of people with jobs, and that's great,

but they just don't pay enough money.

And so this idea that things are going to trickle-down,

if you look at Republicans

that are running for office now in the midterms,

they don't talk about the economy

because they know, in their states,

people aren't living comfortably.

It's those who don't need to run again.

They're saying, "Look at this economy. It's great."

It's great for big business.

Right after Trump won -- I don't know if you remember --

he snuck out of Trump Tower and he went to the 21 Club, right?

One of the fanciest restaurants in New York.

Lots of people love it.

Filled with wealthy people,

and he said, "I'm gonna lower your taxes."

And he did.

So President Trump wanted to impress

and do this for the wealthiest people

and he has done that.

The concern is that people who voted for change

aren't going to get that change.

-I showed one of your greatest hits, and again,

I'm a fan of your work, but I do --

I think it's only fair to show, really,

one of the flubs of the year.

I have to tell you, I loved it.

We were really happy when you did it.

-I'm glad you were. My kids were too. My kids were.

-This I will say, if your mom was on TV and you were a kid,

you'd be very happy about this.

So here you are not as sharp as you were earlier.

Let's take a look.

-As California is farting -- excuse me -- fighting,

the largest wildfire in the state's history...

[ Laughter ]

-They're farting.

-Well, there are a lot of vegans in California.

-That's true. [ Laughter ]

-There are a lot of cleanses that go on.

So they could be farting.

-They're farting the wildfires.

-They could be farting.

Listen, I did not get into television until I was 36.

So if you wanted a TV presenter who is a teleprompter superstar

with perfect posture and all of those things,

then you picked the wrong girl.

-No, I want, you know, once a year

someone who accidentally says farting.

[ Laughter ] -You know what?

We're gonna keep it real, and you know, farting happens.

-It does happen. Thanks so much for being here.

Stephanie Ruhle Compares Trump to a Used Car Salesman - Duration: 3:34.

-Now, you work in the building?

-I do work in the building.

-You have a studio but you do not have a studio audience?

-No, I don't, but this morning,

I came in and I see the amazing line

because everyone's here to come see your show

and I decided to give like a,

"Hey, you know, anybody from Jersey?"

I'm, like, waving. I'm smiling.

Not one person talks to me.

So I want to say sorry

because you all must be totally disappointed.

I saw you six hours ago and you're all like,

and now I'm the guest.

-This is a picture. You took this picture.

These people are obviously very excited to see you.

-No, not one. Not one. Not a single one.

[ Laughter ]

-Well surely, this guy was excited to see you in person.

-Nope. Not even remotely. -Really? All right.

[ Laughter ]

-It was like my kids, I'm like,

"Hey, guys, I'm going on 'Seth Meyers.'

Do you want to come?"

And they're like, "Ugh, to talk news? No."

And my husband is like, "Who else is going to be there?"

And I said, "Jennifer Garner."

And they're like, "What? Electra?"

'13 going on 30'? Yes."

And I was like, "Forget it now."

-And now you're not invited. -No, no.

[ Laughter ]

-We have shown clips from your show before.

There's a personal favorite we have.

A lot of times, you have people on your show,

people who are defending the Trump administration,

and sometimes they're a little fast and loose with the facts.

You always seem very quick with a factual rebuttal.

And here's an example of that that we enjoy.

-Are we turning around 4% GDP?

When was the last time you heard 4% GDP growth?

-Five times during the Obama administration.

[ Cheers and applause ]

-I mean...

Certainly to some degree, you are aware of

some talking points that they're going to come.

And was that one where you just couldn't believe how happy

you were to hear something that could so quickly be rebutted?

-Well, the thing that's amazing, these are major business guys,

and they think, "Oh, it's close enough, I'll just say it,"

and the President loves to say there's such negative coverage,

"Everyone is out to get me,"

but we're living in a house of unforced errors.

The President is approaching having told 5,000 lies.

-Yeah. -That makes him --

-The most ever, he's very happy to tell you. Yeah.

-There you go. [ Laughter ]

That clearly makes him a habitual liar.

So fact-checking him every day

doesn't mean it's negative coverage.

The economy -- I mean, that guy knows the economy.

What President Obama didn't do was sell the economy well.

President Trump is a fantastic salesman,

but like a used car salesman,

he's not telling the truth and it is our job to fact-check him.

So we do.

-When someone like that comes on, and this happens a lot,

do you think a Trump-supporting C.E.O. like that,

do you think he actually believes what he's telling you

or does he just think he's going to be able to slide it by?

Because, certainly, you would think he would know

that it happened five times under the Obama administration.

-Without a doubt, but I think they think,

"Oh, it's close enough," and in the world of President Trump,

things are close enough.

Because one thing he has done is give people confidence.

Consumer confidence is up, business confidence is up,

because he gets people excited.

The problem is there aren't the facts to back it up

and they don't think anyone is actually going to check.

And in this short-term environment, people don't.

President Trump makes people feel good.

When they watched him on TV, on "The Apprentice,"

it was prime time.

They're sitting in their house on their couch and he's,

"I'm this business guy, I'm this real-estate guy,

I don't take anything from anyone."

People built a relationship and they trusted that.

#SouvikReviews Amazon Fire TV Stick: A Poor Man's Smart TV - Duration: 4:31.

In this video, I'm gonna show you how you can set your TV on fire.

Before you go grab that lighter, let me clear the confusion.

I'm here to showcase the Amazon Fire TV stick.

This nifty little device will turn your dumb TV into a smart one.

Here is the box from the front.

This is how it looks from the back.

To one side, highlights of the device are listed out.

The other side lists manufacturer info along with price details.

Let's take a look at the box contents.

We have some documentation, the Fire TV Stick, the Voice Remote, a micro USB cable to supply

power to the stick, a 5V1A Amazon-branded power brick, a male to female HDMI extender

and a pair of AAA batteries for the remote.

Getting rid of everything else, let's focus on the Fire TV Stick.

The Fire TV Stick is an HDMI dongle that plugs into the HDMI Port of your television.

At the bottom, there is the Micro USB port for delivering power to the stick.

That's about it as far as the main component is concerned.

The other unique feature of the Fire TV Stick is its voice-enabled remote.

Let's pop the batteries in first and then we can go set it all up.

We will use the supplied HDMI extender to plug the device in, just in case the HDMI

port on your television is hard to reach.

Next up, we will power the Fire TV Stick using the supplied power brick and micro USB cable.

We will then plug in the stick into the HDMI extender.

And that's it, we are ready to roll.

Change the source on your TV to HDMI.

Now tap the Home button on your remote to initiate pairing with the stick.

Press the Play/Pause button to start.

Select your preferred language.

Then connect to your WiFi.

Once the device has checked for updates and downloaded the necessary updates, log into

your Amazon account.

Set up a PIN to prevent unwarranted purchases and also as a child safety mechanism.

Your device will play a short video introducing you to the features of the device.

Let's skip it for the time being.

Up next, select the apps that you want to install.

Even if you skip this step, you can always go back to the app store and install the apps

you need.

If you wish to, you can also set up data monitoring to prevent the device from using more data

than what your ISP permits.

You are now all set to enjoy a plethora of content, not just from Amazon Prime, but also

most of the other major streaming services.

Before we wrap up, let's spend a few minutes talking about the bundled remote.

It is a Bluetooth remote which means that you do not need to point it towards the Fire

TV Stick or your television in order to operate it.

There are 12 buttons in all and the learning curve is negligible.

Priced at Rs.3,999, the Fire TV Stick is no doubt one of the cheapest solutions to turn

your boring old television into a smart TV.

Hit like if you found this video useful.

Share it with your friends and family members who are yet to explore the Smart TV revolution.

And for more of such awesome content, subscribe.

You can also connect with us through Facebook, Twitter, and Google+.

This is Souvik signing off for the time being.

Till the next time, be good.

And be curious.

Bye-bye.

Blue House confirms slogan for 2018 Inter-Korean Summit Pyeongyang - Duration: 2:15.

The nation's top office made several announcements regarding the upcoming inter-Korean summit.

The slogan and the event's official name were unveiled.

There are plans to propose that parliament ratify the agreements from the historic April

meeting.

Plus, Seoul's special envoys that just returned from Pyeongyang, will visit Japan and China

to brief them on the results of the meeting held up North.

Hwang Hojun tells us more.

"Peace, a New Future" That's the slogan for the 2018 Inter-Korean

Summit Pyeongyang.

"The summit, which will be the first held in Pyeongyang in 11 years, is aimed at carrying

out the Panmunjom Declaration, in which President Moon pledged to visit Pyeongyang in the fall.

The slogan conveys the people's hope for the two Koreas to open a new future together amid

a transition period in the history of the Korean Peninsula."

The announcement came Friday afternoon,... a day after the South Korean government confirmed

the summit's date and agenda.

Those details came out of the South Korean special envoys' trip to Pyeongyang on Wednesday.

To explain those results to China and Japan, the Blue House confirmed that two of the same

envoys will be going to Beijing and Tokyo.

The Director of the National Security Office, Chung Eui-yong, will go to Beijing this Saturday...

and meet with Yang Jiechi, a top official at China's Central Foreign Affairs Commission.

And the Director of the National Intelligence Service, Suh Hoon, will go to Japan next Monday

to brief Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

Also, the Presidential Office of Cheong Wa Dae said it plans to write the Panmunjom Declaration

into law.

"The government will submit a bill to ratify the Panmunjom Declaration to the National

Assembly next Tuesday after it's approved by the Cabinet.

Cost estimates for its implementation will also be submitted."

The Blue House says it decided to propose parliamentary ratification to boost inter-Korean

relations before the summit in Pyeongyang, slated to take place from September 18th to

the 20th.

Ratifying the agreement reached by President Moon and the North Korean leader back in April

will ensure that the Panmunjom Declaration is enforced under a legal framework... so

that it remains effective regardless of a change of government.

2018 International Intangible Heritage Film Festival taking place in South Korea's Jeonju - Duration: 2:44.

There are ongoing efforts to better preserve priceless cultural assets for future generations.

Playing an important part is the Intangible heritage film festival.

Our Han Soo-ah travelled to Jeonju to help us learn what it's all about.

Cultural heritage is not just made of things you can touch, but also intangible heritage

like performing arts, oral traditions, knowledge, and skills, which show a sense of identity

and cultural diversity.

The International Intangible Heritage Film Festival, which kicked off on September 6th

in Jeonju, showcases these intangible aspects of culture that have been captured on film.

"Intangible heritage is everywhere in our daily lives.

It's related to what we eat, what we wear, where we live.

But usually people are not aware of it and do not feel the need to inherit it.

Since movies are easy for anyone to access, it might help people to feel intangible heritage."

Many artists and 'Living Human Treasures' have visited the National Intangible Heritage

Center in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do Province to take part in the festival.

Oh Jung-hae, a Korean traditional musician, gave a special performance to introduce intangible

heritage artisans at the opening ceremony.

The opening film 'The Lady in Number 6: Saved My Life', is one of twenty-seven films

from fifteen countries that will be shown at the festival.

The films range from a 1993 classic to films released this year, and cover a variety of

genres, from documentaries to fiction and animations.

"As a film maker, I think festivals, any festivals that can deal with cultural heritage is frightfully

important...because we are losing so much...the culture, the crafts, the arts and the people...who

are getting old and having these marvelous skills and they will, if somebody doesn't

do something they will die… and not pass on these beautiful qualities and skills..."

The festival aims to help people share their intangible cultural heritage and preserve

their unique values and cultural identity for future generations.

"As well as movies, there are plenty of other programs at the festival, like performances

by a traditional Korean military band.

The International Intangible Heritage Film Festival runs until September 9th in Jeonju.

I would like you to know that. msvcp120.dll is a part of Microsoft Visual C++. and is often required for running programs

Eco-Expo Korea 2018 projects ways to go green - Duration: 1:41.

The nation's environment ministry is holding a special event to promote the importance

of eco-friendly lifestyle.

This year they focused on how recycled materials can be turned into fashion items, pet food

and musical instruments.

To fill us in on what Eco-Expo Korea 2018 is all about, here's our Yoon Jung-min

Colorful clothes catch visitors' eyes.

As well as being trendy and comfortable, they are made of recycled materials.

The environment ministry launched the Eco-Expo Korea 2018 in Seoul this week to show how

environmentally sustainable products can become part of people's everyday lives.

Fertilizers and fodder are made of insect debris.

And insects, rather than meat, are the main ingredient in this pet food too.

"This pet food is made out of larva.

The natural ingredients have been processed to create the product."

Plastic products are often thrown away, but here they are transformed into musical instruments.

Participants at the exhibition play musical instruments by themselves or generate power

by pedaling bicycles.

"I didn't realize waste can be turned into instruments, but it's simple to make

and playing the instrument was cool."

The expo runs until this Saturday.

This year's expo aims to let visitors see, feel and touch eco-friendly products on-site

as part of an effort to promote a healthy and clean life.

The environment ministry and the environmental institute say they will keep expanding support

for small and medium-sized businesses that produce eco-friendly products through annual

exhibitions.
