Florida's Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Andrew Gillum is absolutely hitting the ground

running after winning his Democratic primary a week ago.

And what he's doing is going out there and spreading a hugely progressive message.

This past Sunday, Gillum went on CNN where he talked about the fact that, yes, we need

a Medicare For All system in the United States, but if we can't get it in the United States

than we need it here in the State of Florida.

And when pressed on how to pay for it, Gillum had the perfect response.

He said, "We're gonna raise taxes on wealthy corporations.

We're gonna make these corporation who are already paying well below what the actual

corporate tax rate is, we're gonna make them pay their fair share.

We're not gonna take everything from them.

Their taxes are still gonna be among the lowest in the country, but we can't do this cheap

date thing with corporations here in the State of Florida."

That is exactly what he said, and that's what's happening.

Corporations in this country do like to move around from time to time.

When they're shopping on where to build a new factory they like to pick areas with the

lowest tax rates.

And often times areas, cities, states, will lower their specific taxes just to attract

that new business because usually that new business is also gonna kick in some campaign

funds for whoever happens to be running that state.

Gillum's not buying into that.

Gillum's not falling for it.

Corporations, if they need to expand, they're going to expand.

They have to, or else they start losing money.

And all he's asking is, what is the number?

It would be a 2.25% tax increase up from 5 1/2 to 7.75% on corporate taxes.

So, a 2.25% tax increase on corporations.

Almost not even noticeable for them, right.

2.25% increase in taxes, and that would help pay for Gillum's plan for a Medicare For All

system here in the State of Florida.

He also admits that, that's not gonna be enough.

He doesn't want to raise taxes on them too much to drive them out of the state, so the

other part of his plan is to reach out to other states, and to insurance companies,

and pharmaceutical companies.

Get everybody to come together.

Have the corporations agree to lower prices a bit to make things more affordable, and

have other states come in, and help buy into this program, and fund it as well.

And then everybody wins.

That's the thing that I think health insurance companies, or pharmaceutical companies, or

hospital corporations don't quite understand.

They think they're gonna take a hit if they have to lower their prices.

But in reality we already have people in this country who aren't refilling their prescriptions

because of the cost.

What happens if all those people, thousands upon thousands of them suddenly do start going

and getting their prescriptions because you cut the price in half, and now they can afford

it, or now there's a Medicare For All plan that's going to afford it for them?

You're gonna make more money, and all you had to do is be slightly less greedy, and

then you actually win.

But corporations don't have that kind of foresight.

Luckily, people like Andrew Gillum running for governor in the State of Florida absolutely

does.

And on top of that, Gillum is clearly plugged into the will of the people and understands

that 70% of people in this country, Republicans and Democrats alike, support a Medicare For

All plan.

This is not a radical idea.

It's not a new idea.

It is a mainstream idea, and that is what Andrew Gillum is running on.

The Hidden Meaning in Spider-Man: Homecoming – Earthling Cinema - Duration: 5:59.

Greetings, and welcome to Earthling Cinema.

I am your host, Garyx Wormuloid.

This week's artifact is Spider-Man Homecoming, starring Tom Hollandaise Sauce, and praised

by fans as the installment that bravely made Aunt May hot.

The film follows teenage Earthling, Peter Parker, who is hashtag blessed with sticky

hand powers.

One day, Peter fights for playboy billionaire, Elon Musk, in the Civil War.

But before Elon can Ulysses S. Grant him a spot on the Avengers, Peter has to prove himself

by just sort of "stopping crime" with no clear deadlines or goals.

"Hey, is this anybody's bike?"

Fortunately, a garbage man named Toomes has been busy repurposing recycling to sell artisan

weapons on Etsy and dressing like a bird, spiders' sworn enemies, behind waterspouts.

At school, Peter spends his time macking on his crush, Liz, chillin' with his obligatorily

fat friend, Ned, and macking on his crush, Liz, while chilling with obligatorily fat

friend, Ned.

After school, he looks for crime only to find New York City is too safe.

"Everybody good?"

That is, until Toomes's men forgot their pin number and have to use a ray gun.

They escape, but Peter does manage to blow up a deli.

Peter slings back home where Ned learns Peter's deepest secret: he still plays with Legos.

Oh, and he's Spiderman.

That too.

When Ned coyly implies Peter knows Spider-Man, — "Peter knows Spider-man!" — they score

tickets to Liz's weeknight rager.

But the party is cut short when Toomes men sell guns to Childish Gumby.

Peter mixes it up by using all the same tactics and gets dropped on his head like my son.

Relax, he was a baby.

Armed with a 9th grade education, Ned and Peter decrypt a doodad, and geolocate Toomes

to Washington D.C., the criminal capital of the universe.

Peter gets a rematch with Birdman, but ends up in an Amazon Prime Warehouse, where he

hits it off with his OS, Samantha.

"So, where would you like to take me tonight?"

"It's really nice to have someone to talk to."

Speaking of hitting it off, Ned turns the doodad into a bomb causing an explosion in

the monument to Washington's penis.

Peter saves his classmates, heroically costing the taxpayer millions.

Back in the Big Apple store, Parker interrogates Childish Gumby without a warrant, since this

is America.

He tells him to check the ocean bus, where Toomes goes rip ship.

Elon glues the ship back together, but takes back his suit, leaving Peter to walk home

naked.

Peter asks Liz to Homecoming -- Get it?

Of, course you don't -- but when he gets to her house, a shocking Pepsi Twist is revealed:

Birdman is Liz's Dad, who's anti-Spider and pro-gun.

Since it's Act Three, Peter decides to stop Birdman's latest scheme: robbing an airplane

full of Avengers merch.

Toomes tries the old "I'm going to drop a building on your face" trick, but Peter

remembers he has super strength, and thwarts his plan by crashing the plane into an area

full of tourists.

Having utterly wrecked Liz's life, Peter says goodbye.

Elon offers Peter a job at Telsa, but Peter declines.

Oh yeah, Aunt May was in this.

Spiderman: Homecoming marries the superhero action genre and the teen comedy genre with

a license it got online.

The film is stylized like John Hughes joints, both through homages to Ferris Bueller Doesn't

Go to College, Pretty in Pinko, and The One About Breakfast, and through its themes of

teenagers exploring identity, romance, and hats.

"It gives me confidence."

Through the lens of a kid growing up, the film updates the Sony Spiderman ethos — "With

great power comes great responsibility."

— and ten more reboots.

Usually, this is interpreted as meaning that since Peter has great power, he has the obligation

to use it for the utmost good of society.

But Homecoming inverts this by questioning whether the young Peter is responsible enough

to wield great power.

"Could I do anything?

What do you want me to do?"

"I think you've done enough."

In the beginning, Peter is impulsive and fails to think through the consequences of his use

of power, not so different from the criminals who sell nuclear weapons to people without

conducting a background check.

He considers using his power for frivolous means, such as crashing Liz's party as Spiderman

for the gram, and jailbreaking his suit before reading up on Windows Vista.

His "father figure" Elon has to repeatedly swoop in and clean up his mess, usually in

a Tesla, ultimately taking away his suit so he can dry clean it.

It's only when Peter realizes that his actions make things explode all the time that he grows

up, ironically realizing he is not ready to wield such power.

Until the sequel, Spider-Man: Home Depot.

In a note of intertextual irony, Michael Keaton appears as a avian villain on the heels of

2014 Oscar darling, Birdman: Or, The Unexpected Value of Shooting Off Your Nose.

In it, Keaton's character falls into obscurity after starring in a superhero franchise, much

as Keaton did after his starring role in Badman.

Although who could forget Jack Frost?

Literally every human after they lobotomized it from their brains.

This role becomes an ironic completion of Birdman, implying that the film made Keaton

relevant enough to return to lucrative franchises and play the underdog to mega-stars like Robert

Downey Jr. and sixteen-time Oscar winner, Zendaya.

The Butler Did It, Auctioning and Kavanaugh the Good Husband: Congressional Hits and Misses - Duration: 3:09.

Mr. Chairman, how are you today?

Hope you had a good August.

And I wrote this in the book review of the Baron book which

I you know recommend to you I think you

would enjoy that.

Thanks for calling me a nerd on national TV.

We're way off the rails here.

Chairman I was just visited by your wife who's here and she just told me you celebrated

your 64th wedding anniversary.

Is that correct?

I don't believe that.

Yeah well that's what she told me I thought this very romantic that you're gathered here.

[Laughter]

What's she saying?

I can't understand her.

[Unintelligible auctioneering]

Uhhh

[Unintelligible auctioneering]

Mr. Chairman I got interrupted an awful lot during my —

I made sure that if the timer didn't treat —

We'll give him another minute!

Thank you.

God bless you I'll be forever thankful.

[Unintelligible auctioneering]

Most of us in Congress don't know much of anything

or about technical matters for sure.

[Unintelligible auctioneering]

I yield back.

What were you doing in Vegas?

When you tell me about some anonymous source within the administration probably who's failing.

It probably won't be too long for us to find out who wrote it.

Who has denied it already?

The vice president.

That was my first thought.

And the New York Times is failing if I weren't here I believe the New York Times probably

wouldn't even exist.

I know the president is very unconventional.

Dan Coats, Pompeo they denied that they have written it.

I guess by process of elimination will come down to the

the butler.

In the failing New York Times by an annomous (?)

Unconventional tactics bother people

Really an anomalous (?)

gutless coward.

Bull fill-in-the-blank.

I think I have time left.

You will have time I'm gonna let you finish.

I'm really happy for you I'ma let you finish

Just a minute

How would you like to be remembered?

Good dad.

Good judge.

Good husband.

Thanks Dianne.

You helped him a lot.

Gonna be better for you tonight.

Good—

I owe you

I owe you

Asustor AS4002T 2 bay NAS Review - Duration: 5:28.

Hello my name's Mark, welcome to my review

Channel. Today we're gonna be taking a

look at the new AS4002T NAS box

The AS4002T comes well packaged with very

informative packaging that points out

its main feature which is 10 Gigabit

Ethernet I mean that's an insanely fast

speed and you may need to upgrade your

network in order to take advantage of it

it also highlights a number of other

features about this NAS which we're

gonna run through. When you get the bits

and pieces out the box you get the power

supply network cables some screws which

actually you don't need CD and of course

the NAS drive itself. It's a really

beautiful little NAS drive suitable for

sitting on the desk under the desk

wherever you want to put it it's not a

massive bit of kit it holds two hard

drives it has a number of status lights

on the front a USB 3 port and the design

has been kept very minimal so once this

is in place you can kind of forget about

it it's very quiet in operation I've got

it running next to me while I'm

recording this and I can barely hear it

Really nice power button on the top

should you need to turn it on or off

Around the back you can see there's the

three Ethernet ports and another USB 3

port and that's all there is to this

this is a really tidy little device setups really

really easy the first thing

you do is pop off that front plate

that's just held in place by magnets

there's two drive bays these simply pull

out the plastic you can make a bit of a

horrible cracking noise but once you

pull it out it's fine this is a tool less

installation you can see that these side

plates simply pop off and then you can

pop the drive in place making sure that

the connections are facing backwards pop

these little side bits back on slide

this back in and you're ready to power

this up and begin the software set.

It guides you through the software

installation it uses the ADM platform

which is really good and I have to say

the setup process is very painless very

easy you simply have to let it do its

thing and answer a few questions and

you'll be up and running very quickly.

If you've not owned a NAS before

you may not know

what software you'd like to install on

it so they've included this next step

which is to set it for either business

or home use and I like this step it just

means that you can quickly have apps

that they believe are going to be the

most useful to you installed straight

away rather than you having to root

around for them and it's a different set

of apps depending on which option you

choose once you're up and running of

course you can install your own apps and

there's loes to choose from this can be

a web server a security cam server a

downloader there's loads to choose from

and I'd encourage you to check out the

manufacturers website if you want to see

everything that's on offer they're very

easy to find you can either do a search

they're placed into categories and when

you click into them each have their own

description. While most people will think

of a NAS as being something for use in

the office or the home Asustor have done a

great job of making this a product that

you can use when out and about I've

covered the excellent ADM software

before so go check out those previous

videos if you want to learn more but now

I want to tell you about a really great

new feature that they've done which

basically turns the NAS drive into your

own personal onedrive or Dropbox type

solution you download and install the

application to your computer that sets

up a folder for you to drop files into

and they automatically sync to your NAS

drive then when you're out and about as

they are now you can simply access those

files on your phone wherever you are and

of course the reverse is also true you

can take something from your phone

upload it to your NAS drive and it'll

be then weary synchronize to your

computer next time you turn it on so in

this example we've just taken a photo

uploaded it and within a moment or two

it's appearing on both the NAS and on

the PC. The app I just used to transfer

that file was called AI data but you can

see there's a range of other apps

available each with different purposes I

find AI data and AI master to be the

most useful but if you're using this as

a security surveillance setup there's

also a dedicated app for that as well.

I've used an NAS drive

for years I have to say it's one of the best

investments I made it allows me to take

video from my PC and store it off the PC

freeing up space for

more video this new version has the

advantage of having masses of network

speed available my current setup doesn't

allow me to take full advantage that but

it's great to know this is future

proofed it doesn't have HDMI out on it

which previous versions do and it lacks

the media chops of some of the other

drives from this manufacturer they've

also recently decided to stop supporting

Kodi and as I said earlier Plex isn't

currently available but will be soon if

you're looking for a low-cost way to

store a huge amount of data and access

it rapidly whether that be on your

network or when out and about this is a

fantastic option if you'd like to learn

more about the NAS I will put links to

it in the description below if you

haven't already please consider

subscribing to my channel thanks for

watching

I'll see you next time
