from FIBARO presented at
IFA 2018 Berlin
This is not all of the content we prepared for you
Today we'll cover integrations
between FIBARO and 3rd party devices and services
First thing we're gonna talk about
is integration with voice assistants
e.g. Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant
There's Lara here with me today
She represents Google Assistant today
You'll probably wondering what it is capable of
first of all you control it by talking to it
you can easily turn on or off your smart lighting using only your voice
or pull down the roller shutter
Voice assistant can update you with informations about various devices
or sensors installed at your smart home
If you own any TV
and if it doesn't connect to FIBARO gateway
then you can take advantage of 3rd party IR adapter
which will connect to FIBARO gateway
this Infrared adapter will allow you to control your TV
via FIBARO's mobile app
and it will work exactly as a normal remote controller
but it'll provide better way to operate the TV
wireless and more intuitive way
It works like this: you send a signal from your phone
It goes to the smart home gateway, then to IR adapter
and finally it is delivered to the TV via Infrared
IR adapters can be used with other home appliances as well
e.g. ACs.which normally are operated with remote
could turn into smart-enabled ACs
and it can be achieved with a small IR adapter
Panasonic devices
presented at IFA 2018 in Berlin
can also be matched with FIBARO smart home system
by using IR adapters
SONY is another company
which offers gear that can be managed via IR adapters
At FIBARO's IFA booth we could witness two live examples of 3rd party integration
of course it is a consumer electronics
This is a Smart TV from Philips, which connects to FIBARO gateway via WiFi
and you can emulate whole remote in the FIBARO mobile app
and then manage various functions
e.g. Ambilight
second example was the Yamaha Soundbar
it was also operable with mobile app
this allows you to remotely control the soundbar
it is really convenient
FIBARO smart home system is integrated with Samsung SmartThings
It works both ways
you can control FIBARO devices with SmartThings app
and also you can manage any Samsung's Home appliance or consumer electronics with FIBARO's app
Honeywell best known for its heating solutions
offers FIBARO compatible devices as well
Although key integration for FIBARO
is Apple HomeKit platform
Consumers can already take advantage of 8 HomeKit products
These are: Single Switch 2, Wall Plug
Door/window sensor, flood sensor
Motion sensor, CO sensor
and this fellow in my hand - The Button
as you were informed in last video
at IFA 2018 FIBARO launched another HomeKit product
it was the smart Heat Controller

To sum up integrations
I'd like to emphasise - FIBARO doesn't limit to their products
It's rather other way around
They're encouraging their clients to use 3rd party solutions
which works with FIBARO
Polish manufacturer do its best to provide more compatible devices
by establishing more and more business cooperations
it's worth mentioning
that using aforementioned IR adapters
you can enable smart management
for devices that are not officialy compatible with FIBARO
or don't offer wireless connection at all
last, but not least FIBARO's integration with Apple HomeKit
Although main product line for FIBARO is based on Z-Wave
Company decided to make it possible for Apple enthusiasts
to use FIBARO products
in their smart home systems
These integrations really make your life better
FIBARO provides this kind of online platform
Where every client can insert
add-ons that will allow 3rd party devices
to work with FIBARO
Sometimes consumers really surprise with the ideas they came up with

How to make an elegant bow for a diaper cake - Duration: 4:06.
welcome to the tutorial on making an elegant bow for your nappy cakes
hey it's Stacey here from Stacey Janes Nappy Cakes.
If you're new here then make sure you click that subscribe
notifications button so you are notified
each week when new content like this is
available. You're going to need some 16mm
double satin ribbon identical to the
ribbon that you used on the nappy cake
you are decorating. I recommend using 24/6 size staples as they will punch
through the ribbon much easier and you
will need a standard sized stapler.
make sure you have your fabric glue and a little bling to decorate the centre of the bow
step 1 is to lay the ribbon out
on your table and simply fold it back
and forth on itself making sure the top
loops are slightly shorter than the
bottom loops
holding tight pick up the bow and fold
it in the middle to make a crease this
is where you will staple it
now snip off the rest of the ribbon
close to the staple but not too close
that it'll end up fraying
now measure out a small piece of ribbon
to fold around the staple to hide it
leaving a little tail to work with
lay the bow upside down with the front
of the staple face down and pop the
little drop of glue on the back of the
bow fold the cover ribbon over the top
and pop another small drop of glue on
the bow
fold the rest of the ribbon and secure
it with a fold back clip for the glue dries
once the glue has dried snip off the
excess ribbon and decorate with a little
bit of bling in the centre to hide the
staple underneath
now you're ready to attach the bow to
the front of the nappy cake that you
were decorating simply pop a little drop
of glue on the back of the bow using a
peg on the front of the nappy cake to
secure the ribbon
