Youtube daily Nov 18 2018

Hello everyone, thanks for tuning in again. It's time to get started with

another smart home versus battle here. The Google Home Hub, the brand-new seven inch

smart display from Google vs. the Lenovo 8" Smart Display here with

Google Assistant on board. Let's get going. Alright now if this is the first

time on Automate Your Life for yourself, go ahead click that subscribe and get

that bell notification going here, we're going to give you back time in your life

through automation in in a number of ways. Now today is a little bit

different, I'm going to help you make a purchasing decision. If you're looking at

either one of these two devices or you just want to know which of these two

devices you should be looking at now as far as I'm concerned the first thing to

talk about here is the software on these two devices and the reason I say that is

because some of the early differentiators here were related to

when the Google Home Hub launched here in what was stated was that you know we

had an extra menu for navigation in terms of home control so you could pull

down and right away go to all your smart home lighting you could also in the end

get to the rooms and therefore all of your devices and it looks a lot like the

Google Home application now since that time the Lenovo Smart Display has been

updated with that very same menu the other thing that people were talking

about as being such a big differentiator was the ability to be included in

multi-room audio and now both devices can do that as well so as far as I'm

concerned the software is now equal on these two devices there's basically an

extra welcome video or welcome / setup video here that Google has put on this

device that is not here on the Lenovo Smart Display at least the last time I

checked in terms of those software menus and those different things let me show

you here in a quick demo what both of these devices can accomplish as I showed

earlier you can pull down and then tap into the lights function

and both of these devices can scroll through your different rooms your

different lights and you can tap on and then you get this control interface here

that you can adjust your devices on now you can turn on and off and if you had

color you could also adjust that the second component of that menu is the

media now media allows you to actually cast the different devices so you can

bring up any of your cast enabled devices and then you're going to be able

to push music to them and here comes music from the Google Home Hub over to

the Lenovo Smart Display now vice-versa here let's get the Lenovo Smart Display

starting music over on the Google Home Hub the other component of that menu is

called broadcast and this just allows you to broadcast a message to all of

your Google Assistant-enabled devices in the home the next differentiate ur to

talk about is obviously price the Google Home Hub regularly retails at 149

dollars u.s. whereas the Google or the Lenovo Smart Display rather the 8 inch

version is retailing at 199 US and the 10 inch is at 249 us now what I'll say

is we're starting to see a creep closer and closer in general on this device to

the price that Google has put out now Google on their own here has already

discounted the Google Home Hub both of these devices right now are for sale

during Black Friday for $99.99 u.s. so quite a discount and bringing those

prices closer for a short time but overall there's about a 50 dollar

differential here between the two devices now for that $50 differential

that we're talking here the Google Home Hub is a 7 inch tablet with no camera

onboard and something called this ambient EQ sensor right here now that am

EQ sensor what I'll tell you is it does a very good job of adjusting the

brightness on the screen the lack of a camera is made up for by the fact that

you can still go ahead and utilize Google Duo phone calls you're going to

be able to see the other person they're just not going to be able to see you so

that capability is still there on the flipside here you are getting a camera

and it can be physically hidden by this switch on the side so it's not just a

software hidden component there it is actually a physical blinder that

basically comes across the front of the camera there so a physical block means

it can't be hacked and therefore I feel like the privacy concerns that Google

talked about you know the reason they chose not to put a camera in here has

been largely mitigated by what Lenovo has done here of course that means you

can do Google Duo video calls and you know in the future who knows what other

services will be available to utilize that capability now on top of that what

what else do you get this is a better speaker and what I'll say and I'm about

to show you that differential this sounds much more like a Google Home Mini

this sounds much more like a Google Home and again let's go through a sound demo

all right now I think you could tell this was pretty close to a Google Home

Mini this was pretty close to an actual Google Home and you know at times it

sounds better at other times it sounds worse it depends really what you're

playing but ultimately the speaker is better over here on the Lenovo Smart

Display whether or not it's the eight or the 10 inch I've been able to test both

one other little thing to mention here this basically this device has one other

feature that the Google Home Hub doesn't that's it right there and I find this

works kind of tilting on edge here like that for Google Duo video calls because

a lot of people are using their phone basically in that portrait mode and it's

an it's an Android phone and they're just looking at it like this in front of

their face and you can have a video conversation in this way otherwise I

find myself saying I can only kind of see half of you here and asking people

to kind of turn that way the Google Home Hub obviously can't do that you can't

turn it like this to get it to work like that so this little bit of design extra

from Lenovo I think really helps if you're you're wanting to make a lot of

those Google Duo phone calls alright now as I continue down the path here of this

comparison review I think lots of people rate at this point or sitting there

going well it's pretty clear this is the better device and it's whether or not I

want to spend $50 but that's not what I'm here to tell you today what I'm here

to tell you is each of these devices has their place and the reason I'm saying

that is because they are designed entirely differently if you look at the

very small form-factor design here from Google what you have is a tiny device

that can sit on a bedside and reacts both to the lighting changes in say your

bedroom this would also work very well as a companion device in a living room

and that's what I would find and you don't have to have a huge

bedside table or side table in your living room to place this on so in my

opinion this is the perfect device for a bedside table whereas moving over here

you kind of have a well not kind of this is a much longer wider device it demands

attention and it's going to be a centerpiece and this is what we've kind

of seen from Google in the past they're not trying to be the centerpiece with

each of their devices they're trying to be there but not be the center and this

is a device that is the center of attention when it sits on my counter and

I have a very large counter in my kitchen but when it sits there it's a

centerpiece even there and so again this has a different usage and what I'd say

is this is more intended for a kitchen it could be a living room piece as well

but again I trend a little more to this for a living room companion device to

use for chromecast or to cast to your TV on a chromecast device this is a little

bit big shiny bright it can be adjusted in terms of brightness and it does have

an auto brightness capability as well but just with the large screen and the

large footprint of this device you're going to feel it a little bit more in

the room next to you there you have it guys

that's basically all I'm going to go through you have a differential in terms

of some of the hardware physically in here you've seen those little signs up

through the video here but really the differential between these two devices

is so small that really I think what it comes down to is where you want to place

one of these devices and for me this is a bedside table or even a living room

side table this is your main display sitting in a kitchen or a very very

public place where you have a big space without a big space this can sometimes

overpower a room whereas this really can't overpower a room but it is always

there always capable has all the capability

he's possible right now for Google Assistant and I think over time both of

these devices will be updated I'm not worried about either of them because the

software is essentially the Google Assistant the cast firmware version and

the Smart Display version that is all managed within the Google Home

application we may see the odd feature that does not work across both but I

think that will be more Hardware based and both of these devices really have

the same set of hardware other than the camera

so overall each have their place guys and I think really that's what you need

to consider is where am i placing this smart display in my home so there you

have it thanks for watching and we'll see you next time.

📺[Tuto] Prédire le nombre d'abonnés : social blade est-il fiable ? - Duration: 2:27.

Can we predict the number of subscribers will win a youtube channel during

next few months? Hello everyone and all, it's Lou from screenshot tuto.

If you follow the chain you remember no doubt the challenge of summer without days for

thousand subscribers. In the final episode, I you had introduced social blade and its

predictions. Social blade is a site that allows you to track

statistics from your youtube channel but also from your social networks like

twitter or instagram. To have access to social blade, you enter this link, I

put it in the description, you enter the name of youtuber or

the url address of the string and you access statistics.

You can see here a summary of the estimate of annual earnings in case of

monetization of your content. Frankly I will win more by stopping

to smoke than relying on the advertising of videos. The projection tab allows you

to estimate the number of subscribers you go win in two four or six

month. The error rate is 6 to 7 25%. To check the reliability of this site,

I took a screen in August and let's see the result together. According to

social blade on October 21 the chain had to count 342 subscribers and

on that date the recorded channel 3 141 subscribers. We are really getting closer to

very close to reality. That being said, the calculation formula does not

not take into account events that can intervene to boost your

subscriptions like for example recommendations made by others

youtubers or uploading a video viral.

The luck factor is not therefore neglect to blow up your stats.

There is one more question I ask myself. I would like to have your opinion in

comments. if the youtuber stops

to post videos, update its contents the stats

continue to increase as it is now?

Does the snowball effect continue on social blade and on your chain

Youtube ? I am waiting here for your opinion and your answers

in the comments. I'm counting on you to blow up

the stats by putting like, in putting comments under the

description by subscribing and then in sharing by sharing this video and

by recommending to your community.

See you soon for a new tutorial.

Building a Bench - Japanese Style - Woodworking - Duration: 15:54.

Today I'm going to build this Japanese inspired bench, where I carve a crack and

hand in lay some bow ties. I also get into three or four different types of joinery.

so let's get started.

I started out cutting the boards for the top of the bench to their approximately

even though the end design idea will have bow ties joining a crack. I decided to use

standard eight quarter cherry opposed to a slab. Mainly because it's much cheaper

I don't always find a slab with the crack in just the right place to fit my

design vision. So after I build the pieces for the top I took a few minutes

to decide which edges to put together to hide the glue line so the grain blends

together the best. Once I found a combination I liked I put the two boards

together and use some tracing paper so I could see through to the grain and

started planning out where the crack was going to be. I tried following the grain

the best I could so it would look as natural as possible. I did several

variations tracing different parts of the grain until I finally settled on one

that I liked. I also tried to pay attention to the direction of the end

grain and used it to determine which direction the crack would go vertically

through the wood. Then I used some carbon paper to transfer my drawing to the

work piece. Yes carbon paper still exists

So I can better see the line while in power carving I darkened it all up

with a sharpie

Then I went to work with a power Carver on my angle grinder. Working to the line

on the top and then trying to follow that line I'll work my way down to the

bottom.

Then I use the soft pad on my random orbit sander to smooth out the grinding

marks.

Now on the other side I started at the bottom removing the bulk of the material

and feathered it up to the top until I met my layout.

Once I was happy with the shape I moved on to a little faux finishing to make

the crack stand out and look weathered like it had been there a while.

I used a dark brown dye stain and coated the crack. Since it was water-based I was

able to spritz it with some water while I buffed off the excess to create a nice

weathered look. Time is money so I sped up the drying time with a heat gun. Once

it was dry I sealed in the brown dye with some shellac, so people that sit on the

bench won't get any Brown stain from the crack on their clothes.

The shellac was a little too shiny so I knocked down the sheen with some steel

woo.l Once I was happy with the look of the crack I mortise the edges of the

boards for floating Tenon's to help with alignment during glue up.

Then it was time to move on to in laying the bow ties. I used some paper to cut out a

few different sizes and shapes and started laying them out until I was

happy with the look.

Then I use some spray adhesive to attach the chosen ones to some scrap walnut and

cut them out at the band saw.

I attach some double-stick tape to the bottom of each one so I can stick them

down to the bench top preventing them from moving around while I carefully

traced around each one with a razor blade. This transfers their exact shape

to the workpiece and gives the tip of my chisel a place to register when I start

chopping them out. When I start chopping out the waste, I start about 1/16 in from

the razor blade line removing a little material before I go right to the line.

This prevents the wedge shape of the chisel from compressing the fibers along

the razor blade line which will make the fit of the bow tie look sloppy. As I work

my way down I did several gentle test fits and made adjustments as I went.

I never want to force it until I'm sure I'll get a good fit. If the fit isn't

right I risk not being able to get it back out without damaging something and

will be stuck with a bad fit up.

Once I was satisfied with the fit I glued it up and drove it home. Then

planed off the excess until it was flush. I did have a small area on the bottom

where I compressed the fibers with the chisel, so I used a wet rag and some

steam to swell the grain back up to tight fit. Once I have all three bow ties

inlaid it was time to move on to milling the legs.

To get the thickness I wanted I laminated some eight quarter lumber

together. I took my time matching the grain before glue up to help hide the

glue line, and I use my favorite wood glue to glue them up. Now that the glue

is dry I use the chop saw to square off the ends and moved over to the table saw

to cut the bridle joint. I use my shop made sled to help hold the legs square

to the blade. Since I'm making the dados almost as deep as the blade will cut it.

I took several shallow passes so I wouldn't overtaxe the blade having the

work piece drift out of alignment. I also flipped the work piece around and

made a second pass each time keeping the dado centered on the leg.

leg is going to get tapered on all four sides so I took a piece of scrap plywood

and made a quick tapering jig for the band saw. It mainly consisted of a sled

and a few registration blocks glued to it.

Then for the opposing side I saved a cut off to take up the space where the

leg was taped. I ripped it to a more manageable width and slid it in the jig.

To clean up the band saw marks I ran each leg over the jointer. Now to fit the top

rail in the bridle joint I just kept running the board through the planer

taking a little off with each pass until I had a snug fit.

Now to cut the curve shape on the upper rails.

I made a temple and used some double stick tape to attach the pieces to it.

I took the bulk of the material off at the band saw then routed one end flush.

I then raised the router bit to expose the lower Guide bearing and

routed the other side. By using a bit with a bearing on top and bottom I can

always route downhill with the grain avoiding tear out.

Moving on to the lower stretcher I found the center of the leg and marked out for

where the lower mortises are going to go. I don't use this mortising attachment very

often, but since I already tapered the legs it seems like the fastest most

accurate way to cut the mortises. To get the face of the leg squared to the

chisel, I use one of the cut offs to shim it up then I went to work chopping out

the mortises. I use an air hose to help clear the chips as I worked, and the

smoke you're seeing is totally normal when you're using tools that are as dull as this.

The mortiser left the walls of the mortise a little rough so I just

used a mallet and chisel to clean them up.

To cut the Tenon's on the stretcher I used an angle finder to find the angle.

Since each leg was cut on the bandsaw and then cleaned up at the jointer

there's about a half a degree difference between each leg so I've measured and

cut each tenon to match it corresponding leg. I first cut the angle on

the stretchers and then adjusted the miter gauge at the table saw to match,

cutting a rabbet on both ends.

Since the tenons have a slight angle to them, cutting the top and bottom

shoulders at the table saw would have been a huge pain. So I just finished them

off with a handsaw.

I marked out my layout line between the shoulders, scribe with the razor

blade, and use my chisel to make a notch for the saw blade to track in.

And did the final cleanup with the chisel before test fitting.

I'm down to the final piece but before making the trestle I wanted to get the

spacing of the legs just right. So I set them up and took a step back to see how

they looked. This is what determine the length of the trestle. To make the

trestle, I found a nice piece of cherry with a nice curve in it. I used the curve

in the wood as a guide to create the curve in the trestle. I tried to find a

balance between the proportions of the piece and the grain and the wood for the

angle cut on the ends. I just picked an arbitrary angle that looked good to my

eye and the corresponding arch. In the trestle I found the center point and

drove a nail in it and then using a thin piece of wood, I bent it around the nail

creating the arch.

To make the top of the arch match the curvature of the bottom I set the

scribe to the thickness I wanted and drew it in following a lower curve.

Before cutting the curve I laid out the half lap joints to connect them to the

stretchers. I set up a dado blade in the table saw to cut them. This was a two pass

operation, so I just carefully lined up the blade with my layout lines and made

the cuts

I did the same operation for the stretchers

I did a quick test fit and headed to the band saw to cut out the curve.

I used the disc sander and spindle sander to clean up the band saw marks.

There are always a few little divots or mis-shaped parts in the curve left over

from the spindle sander so I just cleaned them up by hand using a flexible

sanding strip.

Then a final test fit up before glue and finish.

Thank you for making it to the end of the project. If you want to help support

this channel please join me on patreon so I can continue to build cool projects

more often and of course subscribe to my channel and hit the bell to be notified

JIGOKUDANI MONKEY PARK 🐒🐒🐒 y el CASTILLO de MATSUMOTO 🏯 | #5 Vlog JAPÓN - Duration: 16:17.

Today we are going to visit the Snow Monkey park from Nagano

the well-known park of Jigokudani of the monkeys of the snow

the train ride from Nagano to Jigokudani is beautiful

because it delves into the more rural Japan

halfway there are some very funny children who go on a trip with their monitors

One of the things that can be done in Nagano is to visit the typical snow monkeys in Jigokudani

we have come in August obviously there will be no snow

but in principle the monkeys will be

the typical of these monkeys is the whole snowy mountain and they inside the hot springs

now surely they will not be in the thermal waters because it makes carlor out

but we hope we can see some

to get here we have taken the train from Nagano to Yudanaka

and from here you have to take a bus that takes you to 30 minutes from the park

then the last 30 minutes are walking

the road is quite flat for all audiences

there is a pass for the whole day that is call One Day Monkey park or something like that

It includes all the routes by train, bus and the entrance to the park

comes out on account we hope we can see some monkey

I do not know if you see it but here it comes out as steam and it's because all the water that

there's around here it's supposed to be thermal that's why monkeys in winter with everything

snow-covered they want to get inside of water because it's hot water

to reach the park you have to travel about 2 kilometers

of flat path suitable for all ages

we are already on the road that goes to Jigokudani and really the way is very flat

at the entrance yes we have had have to climb stairs or a ramp

but then the road is super flat, comes people with children

but it is not asphalted, that is, carts and wheelchairs and that is a little more complicated

the truth that there is a slope at the beginning before reaching the stairs that

Alicia commented but then it's very flat, very affordable

this park of Jigokudani was inaugurated in 1964 but it became especially famous

for foreigners in the year 98 by the advertising that was given during the

Nagano winter Olympic games

here live those known as macaques of the snow because they are the only primates

in the world that live in regions with snow

before entering the park you can see monkeys everywhere

they even invade private properties of around

a security guard who watches if you take the pass

my pass in order for today

I played the monkey

I have touched here on the arm

you will not wash it

What a scare

here we have some monkeys worming

these monkeys are super protective and

who see that an individual harms some member of the family are launched to attack

these macaques have a relationship super-narrow social networks and as soon as

they fight like they love

so that the monkeys come down from the mountain to certain hours the guards throw food

these are the hot springs where they bathe so hot in winter

as the females have the offspring in spring we find a lot

of babies that are like little children

and even if it's a lot of heat some still want to bathe

One of the rules of the park is that you can get closer to less than one meter

the monkeys but it is impossible because they pass you by the side and there are so many

that you do not realize this one we have two spans

It is full crowded full

if you stay a while watching them truth is that they are so similar to us

They even like to make choking

Do you want to enjoy more content?

follow us on instagram and on facebook

Oh, please, they're so cute we would stay all day watching them

but we have a lot to see yet

so we said goodbye to the park

here in Japan the cars are very square and very compact only

square, rounded

Look, I'm going to teach you

even the motorhomes are so super compact and rounded

Well, here I'm cleaning my shoes we have seen this and there is like the grid

to cleanse them

in Japan like in the rest of Asia over everything in the forest areas you have to

be careful with the Asian wasp that is much bigger than the Spanish one that

in fact the Asian is already reaching Spain, there have been some cases of

sting and if it stings you have to run to the hospital because you

you can die all

We leave the Jigokudani valley to go see one of the castles more

stunning of Japan the castle of Matsumoto

we are going towards the Matsumoto cave, in theory

because in the previous train that we have taken returning from seeing the monkeys

there is almost an excellent an older man has crossed the road and the train has

had to brake emergency and almost what run over, nothing happened but

Of course the train has been delayed and then the link that we had to make we lost it

then we have picked another alternative but now we are in a

sort of commuter train in which the stops we are seeing there

coincide with none of the plane that there's here from the line then we're

a little bit so we do not really know where we're going we have asked a couple of

people and they have told us that yes it goes to Matsumoto but we did not see it clearly

see what happens

now look carefully at what this does train driver

the time we've been there watching the driver we have seen what actions things

curious that it was like reviewing the list, that well this could be normal but every now and then

in when he pointed out forward or did so

we do not really know what can be

I have been watching and effectively the hand

makes some movements that the first obeys to press some sensors, there is a

light as you're alert to be turn it on to turn it off and if not

shutdowns would be like the man mushroom died in other machines and that yes what

touch and review it, review a list as says Xavi but also does not check them

visually, review it by marking it with your finger, marking the coordinates

column, row and does like that, column, row and does so with a fillet and is a simple list plastified so

which has no sensors behind and then over

and mark well and I've been looking if there some sensor or some photoelectric cell

that detects that finger interrupts the step of a beam of light but I have not seen anything

then I deduce that it is a protocol Instruction Review Act

and that finally the uncle for his way of be it says go to there, list fulfilled

everything ok, let's go there

do you speak Spanish?

a little

Is the castle open?

Is the castle open?

thank you

Japanese ice cream taken from a machine vending machine, great

160 yen, this one 200 yen because it's chocolate

Xavi says to see if they export ice cream vending machines to Spain

if they were in vending machines I would eat more ice cream

here people do know how to queue, with an awning, with a lot of banks for

sit down to wait

that way it takes everything better not as many times in others

sites that have you in the background one hour to enter a place to catch

an attraction

the castle of Matsumoto is one of the most beautiful in Japan

is to put the shoes

they make us go barefoot

It was built about 1600 as a fort military and sold at auction at the end

the samurai era, when it almost ends dismantled

It is considered a national treasure Japan and is also known as the

castle of the crows by its walls of black color of 7 meters thick

inside this castle there are exhibited some objects like armors

tools or paintings of the era samurai

from the top you can see some views spectacular of the city of Matsumoto

yes, very careful with the stairs

well we just got out of doing the Visit the Matsumoto Castle to see

on the outside the truth is that it is spectacular, is this one here

Exactly it is very beautiful, it is very tall, typical Japanese way

the truth is that it is very beautiful is very well preserved

Now, the visit inside well, some hellish stairs

They also make you go barefoot and give you a bag for what you put your shoes and what

you carry in your hand, so you go all the travel with the footwear in your hand and

with super steep stairs, if the stairs and going barefoot is not very comfortable to say

It's worth 720 yen, it seems to me, you see, it's nothing special

you see a lot of structure wood, objects there are a few,

There are a few samurai weapons but nothing, some weapons,

on the inside the truth is that if you can enter by browsing and you come to here then do it

but the nice thing really under our criteria is outside

It's also nice because there are gardens, now let's go to a red bridge

but the bridge can be seen from outside you do not have to pay the entrance to the bridge

they are watching a football game, the team here will play

there are many people with the shirt

and in Matsumoto we finish the fifth day in Japan

We hope you liked the video, if so, give it a Like

and you know that next Sunday you have a date here, in Metallic Travelers

goodbye

HOT HT80 Digital Microscope Review - Ita sub En - Duration: 6:33.

Hi guys ..

today, I show a usb microscope

that Gearbest send me

model HOT HT80

if interested as usual you can found link in description

into the box, you'll found a little meter

one OTG adapter for connect to tablets and phone

and an alluminium holder

all in all ...

nice

basically it's a 5mpixel webcam

with a image resolution around 2500x1900 pixel

declared magnification of 500x

there is an adjustable light

basically a webcam connected to optical zoom

max magnification at 4 cm

min magnification at 50 cm

I must say that it works well

the image is very good

the only defect that I found is when I tuning the focus wheel

there is little movements of the optic

but it does not cause me any trouble

there is little movement of the image

but to refine the focus, I use this

I do not know if it's just a defect of this

now to follow I show you some shots

ah! .. for the use, it works with any webcam programs

you connect it to a device like android, open a webcam application and use it

same on PC

now to follow I show you some shots

consider that the live visual quality

It is much higher than what you will see in this video

because the registration quality depends on the program used

webcam programs use high compression and therefore image quality degrades

for this video is all

ciao, see you next time
