The role of the costume designer is not only to dress the actor but also to help define

the character the actor portrays.

They help paint each frame of the film and their work can either contribute or distract

from the art the audience is experiencing.

A successful costume must be incorporated by the story and be woven seamlessly into

the narrative and visual tapestry of the movie.

When you are adapting a superhero story into a movie I is even harder due to the expectations

of the fans.

Here is Screen Rants list of 10 Superhero Costume Designs That Could Have Ruined The

Movie.

Make sure to give us a thumbs up when we talk about your favorite superhero.

Hugh Jackman as Wolverine

Director Sam Raimi wanted to make sure his first X-Men venture was authentic to the comic

books, starting with the story line all the way down to the costumes.

His original idea for Hugh Jackman's Wolverine costume was the yellow spandex we have grown

accustomed to in the comics.

He wasn't the only one that was going to wear their outfits in the comics; the entire

team was going to look like their original designs.

Singer ultimately decided that the costumes were too cartoonish and chose to go with the

sleek black costumes we saw in the movie.

Anthony Mackie as The Falcon

Anthony Mackie flew into 2014's Captain America: The Winter Soldier as The Falcon

and audiences loved him immediately.

His character, Sam Wilson was an expert aviator due to his time as a military pararescue before

he joined the Avengers team so he fit well into his superhero outfit.

The outfit you see in the films look like a falcon but before the filmmakers settled

on those wings, they had another variation.

The prototype design looked more like an airliner with jet engines on either side.

Maybe they would have renamed him The Aviator.

Anne Hathaway as Catwoman

Catwoman had numerous concepts drawn for her role in The Dark Knight Rises, in and out

of superhero costume.

From her heels to her maid outfit they all seemed to have changes but none more than

her Catwoman outfit.

The artists must have researched Tim Burton's Batman Returns because her original costume

had a much stronger resemblance to that film and didn't fit well in this Batman series.

Anne Hathaway looked great in all of her final costumes and we probably couldn't find much

reason to complain about her in any outfit.

Chris O'Donnell as Robin

Tim Burton directed the first two Batman films and was ready to helm the third installment,

Batman Forever but the studio had a different agenda.

Burton's last installment was too dark for the studio and they wanted to keep Batman

Forever family friendly.

The costume we saw Chris O'Donnell wear was not the costume Burton had in mind for his

Robin, that was prepared for Marlon Wayans.

Burton's costume had a mask that looked like the Scarlet Witches mask and check out

the hair.

Jared Leto as the Joker

It seems that you can't mention the film, Suicide Squad without someone defending it

or complaining about it.

No matter what your opinion is you can see that the concept art of Jared Leto's Joker

was originally bland.

Initially he had no tattoos on his face and no metal teeth and his costume was a simple

duster along with a dress shirt and a bow tie.

The filmmakers decided to make Leto's character crazier and took his outfit and makeup to

the next level.

Interested in Harley Quinn's costume changes?

Stick around and we'll show you.

Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool

When you see Ryan Reynolds in 2016's Deadpool it is hard to believe that the team behind

that film was thinking of a different costume than the one we saw in the film.

His final costume was perfect, his eyes showed emotion and he wore his signature belt buckle.

The Merc with a Mouth was originally going to wear a hockey-mask instead of his signature

mask and had straps holding the costume together.

This was a mediocre concept that everyone should be glad that they decided against and

we're sure Deadpool spoke out against it too.

Jackie Earle Haley as Rorschach

Rorschach is a badass.

Period.

Jackie Earle Haley performed Rorschach perfectly from his uncompromising code, ability to solve

mysteries and his love for killing bad guys.

Luckily his original costume was scrapped or we would have been too distracted to enjoy

his performance.

Concept art of his original costume featured bellbottoms.

That's right, bellbottoms on the man that makes a stop to the bathroom during a prison

escape to handle a little problem.

Stefan Kapicic as Colossus

It's hard to say who was the actor behind the character Colossus in the 2016, R-rated

superhero film, Deadpool.

It took five different actors to actually create the CGI version of this character with

Stefan Kapicic performing the voice.

Colossus was a big mutant made of organic steel but despite being made of steel and

CGI he had great expressions.

The original costume concepts for this character were hidden behind a hood.

It's a lot more fun to see his expressions during battle and when listening to Deadpool's

loving commentary.

Tobey Maguire as Spider-Man

When Sam Raimi started pre-production on 2002's Spider-Man he hired one of the greatest comic

book artists of all time to work on costume concepts, Alex Ross.

Ross's drawings were not aligned with Raimi's vision.

For starters the costume was much darker, which would have brought a bleaker tone to

the film.

Still, one of the biggest problems with his work was Spider-Man's eyes, they were dome-shaped

and extruded from the front of his costume.

This concept might have worked for a real spider but not for the heroic Peter Parker.

Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn

There is no denying that Margot Robbie stole the show in 2016's Suicide Squad, hence

why thousands of woman dressed as her for Halloween.

Maybe they wouldn't have if they used the original concepts for Harley Quinn's costume.

They originally wanted to have a tattoo of the Joker's face on her chest and the word,

"puddin" across her crotch.

Her entire stomach would have been shown and half her breasts too.

If the filmmakers thought they were given a hard time about sexualizing Robbie in this

film, imagine how bad it would have been if they used the concept costumes.

Jeep Wrangler Rugged Ridge Front Neoprene Seat Vest Pair, Black (2007-2017 JK) Review & Install - Duration: 5:16.

Hi, I'm Dave from extremeterrain.com.

And this is my review and installation video for the Rugged Ridge Neoprene Front Seat Vests.

It's going to fit 2007 and up JKs, and I give it a one out of three wrenches on our difficulty

to install meter.

In fact, it's not an installation.

You're just popping them on the front seats.

Should take you about 15 minutes or so.

And we'll show you how to do that coming up in just a minute.

These seat vests, I feel, are gonna be great for anybody who needs to cover up any damage

to their seats that may have occurred when you're off-roading, going to the beach or

playing with the pets or kids and they get back into the Jeep, or if you wanna prevent

any damage for the future as well.

It's a great way to kind of stop anything that may have started as far as wear and tear

goes.

These have a great look about them.

They are vests and they do have some nice features like storage in the back and even

storage for a water bottle on the side.

What's always nice about those is that, if you need more space in your cabin, this could

also be a nice solution for that as well.

I know that a lot of you watching this video may have already stopped because these are

constructed out of Neoprene.

For some reason, folks are very one-sided sometimes when it comes to using Neoprene,

liking it or even hating it especially when it comes to seat covers.

Myself, I actually like it.

I think it's more durable and I think it cleans a lot easier than some of the other fabrics

that's out there.

You just have to give yourself a little extra time to allow it to dry.

But with a seat vest, this is going to have some nice fitment to it.

In fact, when you put it on, you're gonna notice that it has a little more thickness

in the seat and on the back area.

Plus, those pockets that are built into the back and the water bottle accessory are really

nice conveniences if you would like to have those on there.

Putting these vest on the front and passenger seat of your JK couldn't be any easier, which

is why I give it a one out of three wrenches on our difficulty to install rating meter.

And it should take around 15 minutes or so.

I have a feeling the 14 minutes of that time is gonna be taken up on the first one that

you install, because once you learn how to do it, you'll see how fast it goes on the

second one.

But here are the steps to make it happen.

And, again, no tools required.

You're gonna pop the head rest off and I recommend that you tilt the seat forward, the one that

you're working on.

Then you want to slip the vest over the back of your seat and then you're gonna secure

that with the buckles and then the hook and loop fastener that's on there.

You gonna basically repeat the process when it comes to the seat portion.

So, slip it on, adjust with the hook and loop fasteners.

And with the buckles, I recommend, for all of them, don't install too tightly.

Try it out, sit on it, see if it's comfortable and once it gets to a place where you don't

feel like you're slipping around, that's when you know that you have it set.

At this point, too, you could take a look and see if you want to leave the water bottle

accessory on or to take it off.

It's up to you.

It uses a zipper, so if you decide to take it off, you could just pop it into the glove

box or leave it in place to be able to secure your water bottle.

And, of course, don't forget about the storage on the back that will hopefully clear up some

of the clutter inside of your cabin.

These seat vests fall at just around the $150 mark.

And I understand that if you're trying to save a few dollars, that you're not going

for the full seat cover.

These are gonna give you some good protection and everything that you would be looking at

for a seat protector in all of the key areas.

But, for me, personally, I would go ahead and spend a little more money just a little

bit more and get the full seat covers.

But that's my preference.

You're the one that's gonna decide on what's best for you and your rig.

So, if you're looking to save a few dollars and not invest in full seat covers, these

seat vests are a nice choice.

If you're picking them up to cover up some unsightly tears or scratches that you may

have already acquired on your JK, or most of us are probably looking at these to prevent

any future damage and to protect our seats from any water damage as well.

The nice thing about these is that, from pets, dogs, cats whatever it is, kids who are getting

in and out of your Wrangler, this is going to help prevent those minor tears.

And if they get them really dirty, you can take them off, take them out the yard, hose

them down and just give yourself some time to let them dry out fully before putting them

back inside of your Wrangler.

I'm Dave, and that's my installation and review of the Rugged Ridge Neoprene Front Seat Covers

for 2007 and up JKs, and you can check them out on extremeterrain.com.

Jeep Wrangler Rugged Ridge Body Armor Guard Kit, 5 Pieces, Black (2007-2017 JK) Review & Install - Duration: 5:55.

I'm Ryan from extremeterrain.com, and this is my review and installation of the Rugged

Ridge Body Armor Guard Five Piece Kit fitting all 2007 and up Wranglers.

This is available for both the two-door and the four-door Wrangler, and it is available

in this diamond-plate pattern as well as a smooth matte black pattern, so there are a

couple of different options available.

Today we're going to talk through the installation of this kit which is a very simple one out

of three wrench installation.

We're also going to talk a little bit about the construction and a few of the features

of this kit.

Now, even though this is called Armor by Rugged Ridge, these are plastic pieces, so they're

not going to offer a ton of hardcore protection.

These will offer protection against some door dings, some scratching and they'll cover up

some damage if you already have it.

However, they're not going to protect against any sort of real hardcore damage, so that

it is important to remember.

What these will do, as I mentioned before, give you some protection but really, they're

designed to change the look of your Jeep.

This five-piece kit will change your Jeep from every angle, the front, the sides, and

the rear and really give it a much more rugged and unique look all with a very easy installation.

As I mentioned, these are plastic pieces.

These are all made of a UV treated thermoplastic, so it is flexible, it's not going to crack

or break easily.

And because it's UV treated, it won't fade in the sun over time.

It'll stay black for a good, long time.

It is available in both the diamond-plate pattern if you're somebody who's into that

look or you can get them in a smooth matte black finish as well which is my personal

preference but it's really up to you and the look you like on your Jeep.

One of the really nice things about these parts is they will install very, very easily

with 3M adhesive.

So they're going to install very quickly and easily and give you that drastic change all

at a lower price than if you were to go out and buy hardcore protection pieces to go in

place of these.

Now, of course, if you're doing hardcore wheeling and you need that protection, go out and get

the true armor.

But if you're staying on the road or on the light trails and you just like this look,

that's where this kit comes in.

Like I said before, this does change the look of your Jeep from every angle.

This is going to give you your hood guard, your rocker guard pieces, and your rear corner

guards, so you're going to have everything you need to drastically overhaul the look

of your Wrangler.

Like I said before, I am giving this installation a very simple one out of three wrenches.

All of these pieces will install with 3M adhesive.

And some of them will use bolts but they are going to go into existing holes, so you don't

have to drill anything, and in some cases, they even use existing hardware.

Anytime you're using 3M adhesive to attach anything to the outside of your Jeep.

You just want to make sure that the surface that you're sticking it to is very, very clean.

Use a good alcohol-based cleaner and these are going to stick and stay put where you

put them for a long time until you want to remove them.

That is one of the benefits of parts like this that install with 3M.

When you do want to remove them, there's no permanent modification to your Jeep, and you

can go back to a stock look.

Aside from having a really clean surface, you're also going to want to stick this 3M

adhesive to your Wrangler when it is pretty warm out.

If you're doing this in the winter time, you're going to want to do it in a heated garage.

Otherwise, the 3M adhesive isn't going to set up very well, and it won't stick properly.

So do this when it's 60, 70 degrees out, follow the instructions, make sure your surfaces

are nice and clean and these are going to stick on really well.

Now, even though this is just 3M adhesive and a couple of screws, there is a little

bit of disassembly necessary to get some of these pieces installed.

For instance, this back corner you do have to remove your license plate bracket in order

to get that rear corner guard in place.

And in order to get to the bolts of the license plate bracket, you may have to loosen up your

bumper bolts as well.

Over here you'll have to snap the plastic hinge covers for your tailgate off and up

here in the front, you are going to have to remove a couple of nuts that are holding your

upper hood latches in place.

On a side here, there is no disassembly that is necessary.

You'll simply attach these with the 3M adhesive and a couple of screws that go through your

pinch seam.

Again, all the hardware is included.

Installation of all these parts is probably going to take you less than two hours to do,

and again, you're not going to need any specialty tools.

Just a couple of hand tools and an alcohol-based cleaner.

As far as the pricing goes for this kit, you can probably piece together these five parts

for about the cost of the five-piece kit.

You're not getting a big discount for buying all five of them together, but they're also

not charging you more for the convenience of having them all in one box.

So if this is a look you like, if you like being able to see the body armor from all

four sides of the Jeep, you want this full kit.

This is a nice, easy way to get that.

Now, as far as the quality of the pieces you're getting for the price, I do think you're getting

some pretty high-quality stuff.

Almost $300 for parts that are just appearance pieces might be a little bit much for some

of you.

However, if you like the look of these, you are going to get a really well-made part that

fits really well and does drastically change the look of your Wrangler.

So if you don't have the budget, or you just don't need hardcore protection pieces, but

you want to change up the look of your Jeep and make it look a little bit more rugged,

then this is going to be a really nice option for you.

This is going to change the look of your Jeep from all four sides and do it for less than

$300.

So that's my review of the Rugged Ridge Body Armor Guard Five Piece Kit fitting all 2007

and up Wranglers that you can find right here at extremeterrain.com.

Health benefits of honey - Benefits of honey - How honey is good for health - Duration: 3:37.

Health Benefits of Honey.

1.

Prevent cancer and heart disease.

Honey contains flavonoids, antioxidants which help reduce the risk of some cancers and heart

disease.

2.

Reduce ulcers and other gastrointestinal disorders.

Recent research shows that honey treatment may help disorders such as ulcers and bacterial

gastroenteritis.

3.

Anti-bacterial, anti-fungal.

"All honey is antibacterial, because the bees add an enzyme that makes hydrogen peroxide,"

said Peter Molan, director of the Honey Research Unit at the University

of Waikato in New Zealand.

4.

Increase athletic performance.

Ancient Olympic athletes would eat honey and dried figs to enhance their performance.

This has now been verified with modern studies, showing that it is superior in maintaining

glycogen levels and improving recovery time than other sweeteners.

5.

Reduce cough and throat irritation.

Honey helps with coughs, particularly buckwheat honey.

In a study of 105 children, a single dose of buckwheat honey was just as

effective as a single dose of dextromethorphan in relieving nocturnal cough and allowing

proper sleep.

6.

Balance the 5 elements.

Honey has been used in ayurvedic medicine in India for at least 4000 years and is considered

to affect all three of the body's primitive material imbalances positively.

It is also said to be useful in improving eyesight, weight loss, curing impotence and

premature ejaculation, urinary tract disorders, bronchial asthma, diarrhea, and

nausea.

7.

Blood sugar regulation.

Even though honey contains simple sugars, it is NOT the same as white sugar or artificial

sweeteners.

Its exact combination of fructose and glucose actually helps the body regulate blood

sugar levels.

Some honeys have a low hypoglycemic index, so they don't jolt your blood sugar.

8.

Heal wounds and burns.

External application of honey has been shown to be as effective as conventional treatment

with silver sulfadiazine.

It is speculated that the drying effect of the simple sugars and honey's

antibacterial nature combine to create this effect.

Studies have shown honey to be very successful in healing wounds.

9.

Probiotic.

Some varieties of honey possess large amounts of friendly bacteria.

This includes up to 6 species of lactobacilli and 4 species of bifidobacteria.

This may explain many of the "mysterious therapeutic

properties of honey."

10.

Strengthen the immune system.

Honey has been found to stimulate the production of immune cells according to a study at the

School of Medicine, Cardiff University, UK.
