Hello everyone, this time we go get a gibbon who is detained in the forestry department (BKSDA).
In fact the animal has been confiscated in west of Borneo in the
city of Pontianak, he has already made a a very long journey to arrive
so far, we will get it back we will sign all
papers, since there is still a administrative procedure when we receive
a gibbon. Gibbons are the property of Indonesia...
and then we'll go straight to Kalaweit, and so for him another six hours drive
and one hour by boat, before to be able to start a better life.
Every time we receive an animal there is an administrative procedure since
obviously Kalaweit is not the owner of the animals, this is the
Indonesian government, Kalaweit is simply a partner of the forestry department,
to help these animals to to find a freedom ...
A life in the forest ...
It is a species that we find precisely in western Borneo, and very
little represented here, and in fact we do recognize them asthey are often
much clearer than the others mueller gibbons found for example in
east borneo.
In front of the house there is a group of macaques and children indoors
are taking their courses by correspondence, that's how the
days start here, Andrew does his homework and Enzo is talking to
his teacher by skype, we have a satellite internet connection which
allows us to stay in the forest, and then that children can
follow the school ...
Yes if you want to follow the adventures of Enzo, you can follow his
youtube channel, in English, you have the link that appears on the screen and
now we are going to the clinic. We go take news from Inul and Cek.
We know very well Inul and Cek. They do not behave
at all as usual, they are much too calm. Normally Cek
who is in his bin there, it's really a terror .... while he is
all calm so it shows well that there is a concern ...
It's great to see again Inul and Cek much more active,
they're singing, I'm not sure they're completely heatlhy
but they are doing much better!
