Youtube daily Apr 12 2018

Hey guys, Steph here and this week we've got some

exciting new SEO insights thanks to a fresh Google patent that's been

awarded called "related entities".

So what are related entities? An example

would be if you searched a general term like the current CEO of Facebook, of course

Mark Zuckerberg information would come up, but along the bottom you would also

see related entities such as Priscilla Chan or Bill Gates or Sheryl Sandberg

and so on. So as a human it's pretty easy to see how Bill Gates and Mark

Zuckerberg might be related, but on paper they're completely different people who

founded different companies that do different things and different

generations so how does Google know they're related? Well that's exactly what

the patent has giving us insight into and obviously it's pretty nuanced in detail

but there's some key takeaways that I'm going to share with you today.

So the first point is related words,

and what that is, is of two separate entities

often mentioned with similar words so in the Mark Zuckerberg Bill Gates example

it would be things like CEO, founder, software, (tech billionaires) and so on now Google

can look at those two different things and see that they're often

mentioned with related words and make the link between the two.

So the second point is the occurrence of two names in the same article so if names are

mentioned together often so for example Mark Zuckerberg and Priscilla Chan they

would often be mentioned together and Google therefore assume they can safely

link the two of course the authority of the articles with for both the related

words and when both the names are mentioned together make a big difference

so if it's in a Wikipedia article and various high-profile news sites

that would obviously carry more weight with Google then just kind of a few

random blog posts.

The next and probably I think most exciting is that this

patent actually reveals that Google has a separate entity database, so this is

one place where which its entire job is to link separate entities and find out how they

related so, it's basically Google's way of understanding everything on the web

and how they connected, how strong those connections are, what they were linked in

in relation to which is pretty powerful stuff.

So why should you care, well basically this gives SEO's some quite powerful

insights into how to strengthen associations between your brand and

related entities so in a nutshell, if you're smart about it, you can now use

entity association in addition to your link building to actually boost your

rankings. If you want to find out more about it I'd suggest you read our

1 Thing post that's linked to below or in that we've actually linked to the actual

patent so if you want to get nerdy give that a read.

Cool guys thanks so much for watching the video, if you missed last week's 1 Thing you

can check it out here and if you like this video please give it a thumbs up

A Duck Walks In On A Couple Having Sex (by Kevin Bacon) - Duration: 7:14.

(dramatic music)

(heavy breathing)

(dramatic music)

- I can't believe we're doing this.

- He can never know.

(bed frame thumps)

(door creaks)

(both gasp)

(duck quacks)

(suspenseful music)

- Intense.

- Challenging.

- Sexual.

- A hundred takes for one shot.

- So it wasn't as bad as Hollywood lore

has not made it out to be,

but there were delays.

- Look what's the point of shooting a film

and not making it perfect?

You know when I first read the script

I told my agent, I said,

"Audrey, you just gotta back off.

Just back off.

You gotta give me some time,

this is my first feature as "the director",

and if this thing fails, it's on KB."

- The original script was 140 pages long.

- It was a hundred and forty pages of (mutters).

- It was a tale of heartache, sin,

and ultimately redemption set against the

backdrop of the end of the civil war.

- There was this one scene though,

of a couple making love, and I though to myself,

if you add a duck to that scene

it will be a killer scene.

If you cut everything else,

you're gonna have a killer movie.

Everybody in this cast and in this entire production

is counting on me to make them look good.

No no no we use cameras to make movies, not robots.

- Oh this holds a camera.

- What's your name?

- Jason.

- That's a wrap on Jason.

(claps)

- I'm very hands off.

So we're here, we're here, and then...

- Ow.

- So more close to him, really.

- Grabbing.

Yeah.

- Just like that?

Kevin wanted us to answer the question

who are these people who are

having sex that's interrupted by a duck?

- You're her.

- I'm her and you're me.

- You know more kind of like this.

- Oh, yeah, okay.

- I let the actors just figure it out for themselves.

I rarely make any kind of suggestions.

- You know I've never had that chance to say

not only "who am I," but to have a director

challenge me to say "who am I in relation to a duck?"

- I have sex in front of multiple ducks

multiple times, um,

to completion.

- When we were shooting the titular scene, I gave

(laughs) Lauren a script with an alternate ending.

It's a little thing I got from Oliver Stone

and it made for this incredibly great reaction.

It was real and it was pure and...

- Yes (chuckles).

Yes.

- I hand out robes to the crew.

It's just a thing I do.

Great work.

- Pleasure. - Yeah.

I forgot what you did, but...

- Get over here and get on your mark right now.

(duck quacks)

Does somebody have a bread crumb?

Did you just shit on the floor?

(quack)

This is a goose!

(goose honks)

- No.

I'm the director!

(sobs)

- I've never worked with such an

unprofessional duck before. (quacks)

It's just not going to work.

- Okay, I'm gonna take care of it.

- Well Kev reached out because there was a problem

with one of the actresses.

- Don't bullshit me, Bacon,

we both know this isn't working.

I don't know what you want me to do.

I can't save the scene for both of us.

- I really wanted to play the I-told-you-so card.

I mean I knew it was gonna be an issue.

Look, the secret to being married

this long is favors, you know.

Do domestic favors, financial favors,

sexual favors, even when you're like

no thank you.

(sighs) Point that thing somewhere else.

But he's my hubby.

Sorry?

- From what I understand, I don't think Kyra

really got it.

- What is Lauren still doing here?

I though I was playing Phoebe.

- I'm sorry I wasn't clear.

- Wasn't clear?

I gave up a film for this, okay?

What is this suit?

- It captures motion.

- (scoffs)

Loser.

- Filmmaking is about capturing life

and the great auteurs know that.

Your Scorseses, your Coppolas, myself.

It's like God gave me this talent

for creating cinema.

And if I was to not use that talent,

that would be disrespectful to God.

And I don't ever believe in God.

God could be us, we could be God,

it could be a director, I could be God,

I mean to you think if you were talking

to God that God would say "I'm God"?

No, of course God wouldn't say that

because then you would act differently, right,

around God, and that wouldn't be real.

Filmmaking is real.

And those of us with the God-given talent

to make films know that it really

comes down to three things:

a camera,

actors,

and a duck.

Most people only get one or two of those things.

But if you're lucky, you get all three.

(inspirational music)

- Hell yeah.

- [Interviewer] Just one more question:

(heavy breathing)

- Well you know what they say.

If you want it done right.

(both gasp)

Get Kevin Bacon to do it.

- They.

Quack.

WHOA! Trump Just DESTROYED The Liberal Gravy Train With Executive Order Forcing Every One Of Them! - Duration: 5:57.

WHOA! Trump Just DESTROYED The Liberal Gravy Train With Executive Order Forcing Every One

Of Them!

During Barack Obama's presidency, he created an entire generation of freeloading welfare

abusers across the country by making it easy for people to receive them.

However, not only did Obama make it easier for everyone in the nation to receive these

benefits he also made it possible for illegal immigrants and refugees to obtain them as

well.

So, when Donald Trump campaigned for president, he promised that he would cut back on these

welfare programs and he is not about to go back on promises as millions of Obama's

freeloaders found out this morning which has liberals screaming mad.

The purpose of welfare is help people who are struggling financially to get back on

their feet while going through hard times.

However, over the last several decades the role of welfare has become more of a lifestyle

choice than a stepping stone to something better.

Over the last several years, the number of people living on welfare only increased causing

financial issues for our country that needed to be resolved quickly.

After President Trump was elected, he began to implement several programs that would cut

back welfare programs on the Federal level, and of course, the left and lazy welfare recipients

have cried foul.

Now, in a new executive order signed by President Trump, he is asking federal agencies to enforce

work requirements to those who receive federal aid and to review all of the waivers and exemptions

to those work requirements.

Programs included in this never before seen move is those who are on Medicaid and could

potentially incorporate thousands of people who receive subsidized housing benefits.

The purpose of this drastic move is to help those in poverty lift themselves out of their

predicament by being productive members of society, and it is about darn time.

Here is more from CNN Money:

"Trump signed an executive order Monday directing federal agencies to promote employment

for those on public assistance.

The president called for enforcing work requirements that are already in the law and reviewing

all waivers and exemptions to such mandates.

Also, the executive order asked agencies to consider adding work requirements to government

aid programs that lack them.

"The federal government should do everything within its authority to empower individuals

by providing opportunities for work, including by investing in federal programs that are

effective at moving people into the workforce and out of poverty," the order read.

The agencies have 90 days to submit a list of recommended policy and regulatory changes.

The move is the latest step in the administration's effort to require low-income Americans to

work for their federal benefits.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services earlier this year began allowing states to

mandate that certain Medicaid enrollees must work for the first time in the program's

history, while the Department of Housing and Urban Development is looking into the issue

for those in subsidized housing.

The Department of Agriculture also wants to strengthen the work requirements in the food

stamp program.

Currently, adults without minor children can only receive benefits for three months out

of every 36-month period unless they are working or participating in training programs 20 hours

a week.

However, states can waive that requirement for areas where unemployment is at least 10%

or there is an insufficient number of jobs, as defined by the Department of Labor.

Several states, particularly those with Republican leaders, have also been adding work mandates.

Kentucky, Indiana, and Arkansas have already received approval to require certain Medicaid

recipients to participate in community engagement programs, including working, volunteering

or job training, while several other states have applications pending before CMS.

West Virginia and Wisconsin recently tightened the work requirement provisions in their food

stamp programs.

The president is ramping up these efforts after Congress opted to punt on entitlement

reform with the midterm elections looming in the fall.

The order outlines nine "Principles of Economic Mobility," which are in line with longstanding

Republican ideals.

They include improving employment outcomes and economic independence, promoting marriage

as a way of escaping poverty, reserving benefits for those truly in need and empowering the

private sector to find solutions to poverty.

The order directs agencies to provide more flexibility to the states, which administer

many of these safety net programs.

Millions of Americans flocked to the nation's government assistance programs in the wake

of the Great Recession and the expansion of Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act.

More than 74 million Americans are on Medicaid, while more than 41 million people receive

food stamps, formally known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, or SNAP."

Everyone in the country works to pay their bills and to provide food for their families

since we all know that nothing is free.

So, why in the world would it be free for anyone else?

Well, the answer is pretty devious, and it all boils down to control.

The global elite which is filled with leftists and some RINO's are working hard to destroy

our country and economy to push for a one world government.

If they can crash our economy, then it makes it much easier to force this sort of tyranny

upon the people, but those plans were thwarted the moment that President Trump was elected.

Now that Trump is in the White House, he is busy building our country back to its former

glory by cutting programs that only have harmed our nation and supporting state leaders for

doing the same.

It will take time for us to see positive changes but we are on the right track, and that is

all that matters.

This Is The Most Famous Basketball Rivalry In The South | Southern Living - Duration: 1:58.

(cheering) (upbeat electric guitar music)

It's one of the most famous

college rivalries in the world.

The Duke-Carolina rivalry,

you don't get no better than that.

You could literally just go eight miles

down the road and you're in enemy territory.

(upbeat electric guitar music)

It's unbelievable,

the depth of it,

the meaning of it,

that it has to draw

especially our sports fans.

And everybody becomes a sports fan down here

whether you want to or not.

(upbeat electric guitar music)

The rivalry has just been there forever

and I think it's because the two schools

are so close together,

being only seven miles apart.

The players know each other.

A lot of the fans know each other.

I grew up in eastern North Carolina.

Most everybody there were Carolina fans.

I wanted to do something different

so I came to Duke.

It's a great rivalry.

I have many, many friends who

are Carolina people.

It's a wonderful feeling.

We just really enjoy beatin' 'em.

I have dear friend,

he was just Carolina,

so rabid.

He would tell me,

"I don't even use Duke Street!"

And I said,

"Jack, I'm sorry to hear that because

that's the shortest way for you to get

to the hospital," which is located (laughs).

He said, "I'll get there without it!" (laughs)

They've always played harder, I think,

against each other than any other team

they play all year.

Just the camaraderie.

I mean, you got a brotherhood of guys

that're all wearin' royal blue.

And how could you get better than that?

We love,

Chapel Hill is a wonderful neighbor.

But when it comes to sports and the competition,

even though we're

15 minutes apart,

we are in fact eons apart.

We are in fact

from different planets.

And kept in the right spirit,

we get along just fine.

And, I would say

may the better team win.

And I feel this year Duke is the better team.

(laughter) Thank you.
