Hi everybody and welcome back to Relax My Cat, I am Leah and this is Rio and
today we're going to be talking about whether your cat loves you, let's it get started!
okay so we all hope that our cats love us but it's very
very difficult to tell whether a cat actually does because all they really
care about is keeping warm and feeding as well so today we're going to
be talking about the different things and signs that you can look out for to
find out if your cat really does love you; the first one that you can look out
for is if your cat decides to knead you, obviously kneading is a motion that a cat
will use with their mom to be able to get milk out but if a cat decides to do
that on you it shows that they really really do care about you as their owner
and this actually can be seen as a way of telling you that they actually
love you back; now the second one isn't particularly a very nice one but this is
by gifting you, if a cat decides to bring you a little present back from
being outside this can actually be a sign that they are actually giving you a
gift and then they love you back this might be in the form of a mouse, a
bird, things that aren't particularly very pleasant but if they do bring
you back it is a sign of love and that they do want you to have a gift back
from all the things that you do for them, Rio has done this occasionally and it
isn't the nicest thing to receive, I must say! Now the next one is one that's
very very strange and this is by head-butting you, if you sort of are face
to face with your cat and they head butt you on your head this is also meant to
be a sign that your cat loves you, like I say this is very very odd behavior but
it does show that they care, it's sort of like them giving you a little thank-you that
also shows that they know that you are taking care of them as well. The fourth
one is one that Rio does quite regularly - What are you doing? - So this is one that
Rio does all of the time with me and this is just by staring at you, sometimes
it can be really really freaky if your cat is just sat there staring at
you but this is actually a sign that your cat cares for you, especially if
they do sort of a slow blink while looking at you, this shows they're really really
affectionate towards you and that they love you, as well as that whenever your
cat shows you their belly this is also a sign that they really really do love and
care for you, as this means that they feel very very comfortable in your presence
now the next one you can look out for all
the time and this is by curving their tail, if your cat is walking along and
their tail starts to sort of flicker and curve
this is also a sign that they really really do love and care for you so make
sure you're looking out for this one because that means that they have a
happy life if they have a happy tail! Now the next way that your cat might show
that they love you is by rubbing themselves on you, this is sort of
putting their scent on to you to claim you as their own; and the last one is
quite an obvious one and this is if your cat regularly purrs in your presence
now the way that your cat purrs can show many different things from love to concern
but it's known that if your cat is purring in your presence this normally
means they are expressing their love for you
