A senior research psychologist at the American Institute for Behavioral Research and Technology

is now claiming that Google did, in fact, favor positive results in searches for Hillary

Clinton above those of President Trump . Both now and during the 2016 campaign.

Robert Epstein continued his Breitbart Town Hall lecture by explaining the intricate power

of tech companies , when it comes to elections and the way they use the trust people put

in them to influence voters.

He added that , he had been studying the phenomenon of people changing their minds during elections

just by how ! internet search engines manipulate their searches for more than 5 years with

what, he referred to as 'Controlled Experiments" around the world during national elections

using tens of thousands of people who voted.

Epstein explained: "Epstein discussed his work surrounding the power of tech companies

on elections and their influence on voters saying, "I have been studying for more than

five years with controlled experiments around the world, four national elections, tens of

thousands of people.

I've been studying exactly how many votes or opinions Google can change, Google can

shift, just by them manipulating those search results when we type in a search term and

they give us a list."

"It turns out that what's at the top of the list," said Epstein, "people believe

is better and truer than what's lower in the list, that's why 50 percent of the clicks

go to the top two items."

Epstein continued, "so it turns out we showed in our studies, that if you favor one candidate

in search results, so maybe higher ranked results make that candidate look better, you

click on it, it takes you to a webpage that makes that candidate look really good, if

you favor one candidate in search results among voters , who are undecided you can easily

shift at least 20 percent of them towards that candidate, up to 80 percent.

And at least one demographic group that , we found and the most vulnerable group that we've

ever found in our five years of studies, is moderate Republicans."

"You could've guessed that," joked Ann Coulter.

Alex Marlow interjected, "but luckily, since Google are the masters of the universe with

their incredible amounts of power they decided to be entirely fair and keep the results equal

for Trump and Hillary Clinton, correct?"

Epstein paused before replying, "no… no, that was sarcasm right?"

Marlow said, "but this is something that in your research you looked at when you start

typing into a Google search bar and you start typing 'D-O-N-A-L' it'll give you some

result , probably Donald Trump-based, same thing for Hillary Clinton when you start typing

names that should yield familiar search terms, the terms for Donald Trump were more negative,

the terms for Hillary Clinton were more positive, is that what you found?"

"There's two main things that we have found," said Epstein.

"We came up with a system, a monitoring system for monitoring search results on Google,

Bing and Yahoo for nearly six months before the election in 2016.

This story about our findings was broken by the Washington Post in early 2017 and here's

what we found . We found that Google's search results favored Hillary Clinton in all ten

positions of those search results on the first page for almost all of those six months leading

up to the election . Now that's enough to shift two to three million votes, at least,

without anyone knowing that they have been manipulated."

"Another thing, we followed up on a media report, it was kind of a hysterical media

report by an organization named Sourcefed , they said 'we just figured out that when

you're doing searches, you're typing in search terms, you can't get negatives for

Hillary Clinton on Google.

So eight people on my staff spent that summer of 2016, I published in the fall of that year,

seeing if they could get negatives for Hillary Clinton."

He followed up by stating that if you actually typed "Hillary Clinton is….." on Bing

or Yahoo you would get answers like . 'Hillary Clinton is the devil', 'Hillary Clinton

is sick', Hillary Clinton is dying of cancer .' You would literally get eight or ten

extremely negative search results because that's what people were, and had searched

for in the recent past.

But when you would go to Google the search suggestions looked a lot different .

If you typed in the same phrase you would get suggestions such as 'Hillary Clinton

is awesome', 'Hillary Clinton is winning', plus some positive information about her positions

during the 2016 campaign.

This is illustrated clearly in the graphic below.

So basically what Google was doing is trying to influence and manipulate a presidential

election in order to favor the candidate they believed would benefit them the most.

Not unlike what the Democrats are now accusing the Russians of doing . But no one is investigating

Google because it's too big to be investigated, we know the drill.

Normal Black Line Under Fingernail vs. Melanoma Streak V 4 YOU - Duration: 2:54.

Normal Black Line Under Fingernail vs. Melanoma Streak

A doctor explains the differences between a melanoma black

line under the fingernail and a normal one.

"Splinters or dark streaks under nails can occur when

microscopic areas of bleeding happen and allow blood to settle

under the nail," says Dr. Joel Schlessinger, MD, board certified

dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon with a private practice in

Omaha, NE.

"This also occurs in psoriasis where nail deformities are

common," he continues.

"A dark streak or area of the nail with dark discoloration can be a sign of melanoma

and should be evaluated if there is no reason that trauma

could have caused it.

"The dark streak from melanoma is due to actual cells being

grown in the nail area or under the nail."

What's going on when the cause is benign?

"If the cause of nail streaks is benign it is usually from trauma or

psoriasis or simple heredity.

"Many individuals with skin of color have longitudinal nail

streaking or dark streaks over the nails and sometimes it is

difficult to determine if they are benign or not."

How are melanoma streaks in the nails different in

appearance from benign streaks?

Dr. Schlessinger explains, "Hutchinson's sign in melanoma is

the presence of a dark streak along with color changes to the

skin just before the nail starts.

"This is a very concerning sign and usually is best addressed by

a biopsy of the nail bed or, at the very least, evaluation by a

dermatologist."

Melanoma lines under the nails tend to be thicker than the

harmless splinter-like lines that many people get.

Melanoma streaks may be thick enough to look more like

bands than lines.

They will also progress, whereas the normal thinner streak that

was never there before will eventually disappear.

Dr. Schlessinger adds, "The colors can be anything due to nail

thickness and different areas where moles can originate.

The most usual causes for nail issues, however,

are trauma and hereditary issues.

"Make sure to tell your doctor if you have had trauma or if your

family has these issues so they can evaluate you thoroughly."

A benign area of pigmentation can actually cause a "pseudo-

Hutchinson's sign," but if you see this sign, it's not for you, the

patient, to diagnose.

See a dermatologist who will have it biopsied.

Valls, castellers and calçots! - Duration: 7:20.

Hello fellow travelers!

We have come to Valls this weekend.

It's the cradle of the Castellers and, in fact, we are going to visit the oldest Castellers "colla" (association) in the world.

We are also going to learn a bit more about a very famous local product: calçots.

The historic city center of Valls has a nice mix between medieval and modernist style.

We are here with Albert, President of the "Colla Vella dels Xiquets de Valls", right?

Albert is going to tell us everything about the world of the Castellers.

The Castellers' world was born in Valls and it expanded to other areas of Catalunya like Penedés, Vendrell and Tarragona.

Now we call them "castellers" but in the past they were referred as "Xiquets de Valls".

Nowadays this passion has broadened to the whole of Catalunya and

we have "collas" in Madrid, París, Montreal, Chile and even in Shanghai!

"4 by 9" is the mythical castell that everybody wants to achieve because of its extreme difficulty.

4 is the number of people in every level of the castle and 9 is the number of levels.

Something that causes curiosity to us is the fact that

the higher risk belongs to the children who have to climb the castle!

The accident rate of these children is less than the one they would have in the patio of their school.

They can't have vertigo…

Like all the structures, the basement is the key.

Everybody is necessary, but it's true that a lot of people are needed to build the basement. But no single person is essential.

The most delicate part is the highest with the children.

And also the trunk, that gives the stability to prevent the movement of the castle.

We guess this has a lot of family tradition.

Yes, it's true, when a child is born, he belongs to the "colla", so, there are a lot of entire families in this.

We can't wait to come in the Castellers' season.

You are invited to come, you will be welcome and we will let you make "castles" with us!

Wow, that would be great. Just watching the videos make my hair stand on end!

We are about to enter the restaurant La Masía del Pla.

Marc, its owner, is going to tell us the story and the culture of "calçots".

When is the season of calçots?

It starts in the middle of November and it finishes in the middle of April.

Tell us more about this way of cooking.

The orthodox way to cook it is burning dry vine shoots under the calçots.

Its flame cooks them. They have to become totally burned.

They are served in packages of 20 calçots on a tile. Why a tile? In order to maintain the heat.

I was used to eating them with Romescu sauce, but Marc told us there is a specific sauce for eating calçots.

Yes, this sauce is different. It doesn't have any bread and not as much vinegar as Romescu sauce.

I don't think I'm going to kiss Sandra today…

looking at the amount of garlic she is rubbing on the bread…

So, I like it! Hurrah for garlic! Hurrah!

The bib is going to be really useful, not only for the calçots but also for the wine in this local jar ("porrón").

We have to take off the first skin…

Well, fellow travelers, we have seen how to cook calçots, but…

we want to know more… and we want to go to the origin: the soil.

That's why we are here with Kiko, owner of some calçot fields.

He knows a lot about them.

Calçot comes from a white onion.

This is specific to calçots, you can't eat it like a typical onion because it is very hot.

Imagine that now the land is empty of calçots. We plant the onion.

When the stalk is growing, we cover them with soil.

So that the stalk can grow longer and besides it remains white because it doesn't have any contact with sun.

The whiter they are, the sweeter they will be later.

When the calçot develops completely, the onion spoils.

This black part is the rest of the onion.

Before telling Kiko goodbye… tell us that saying that "in Valls you have to raise your head three times"…

Yes, it's true… First, to look at the tower of San Juan church,

that is the tallest in Catalunya.

Second, to enjoy the castells,

And third, to eat some calçots.

Well, fellow travelers, we are leaving Valls down there and we hope to see you again on our next video.

We say goodbye, it's very cold here!
