Youtube daily Jun 11 2018

- Hello everyone, welcome to The Pit Stop.

I'm your host, Raja.

And this week, I'm joined by the very sweet,

lovely, cotton candy-like, frothy, beautiful,

and sparkly, Farrah Moan, everybody.

Give it up to Farrah Moan!

- Oh, hi guys, I'm so excited to be here.

How fun!

(upbeat music)

- When I look at you, you make me moist.

- (moaning gasp) Oh, well I've been moist this whole time.

- Damn! (Farrah laughs)

Oh girl, so we are now at the final five.

Are you satisfied with the five that's left?

- The way that they've narrowed it down,

I think I'm like, equally obsessed with almost everyone.

Y'know, Eureka definitely a little bit more so.

- [Raja] Why Eureka?

- She's so talented and like,

it's so awesome that she got to have

a second chance to come back.

- Absolutely, she is killing it every episode.

Love Eureka.

Now Kameron had to lip sync for her life

on the last episode, and she sent Monét X Change home.

Very very sad day for me,

because I'm a huge Monét X Change fan.

- Same, I'm obsessed with her.

She is one of my favorites on the season.

- With Monét gone, how do you think

this is going to affect the whole dynamic of the group?

- It's not gonna be as, you know, lighthearted.

I think it's gonna get a little bit more cutthroat.

- Yeah, sort of like, bye Monét.

Love you, but see ya later, honey.

See ya on tour somewhere.

- Time to pull the claws out.

- Kameron also was in the bottom two weeks in a row.

What does that feel like, do you think?

- I'm sure that Kameron though,

is not feeling good about that.

- She doesn't show it very much though,

and I think that's the big conversation

that we've all had about Kameron,

is that how can you really tell?

- Her emotions about her critiques

and how she's been doing the competition,

keeping it to herself and just trying to

apply that each week to try and get out

of this bottom streak, y'know.

- Right, but Miz Cracker, she got to win a challenge.

I feel like she's been waiting the whole season for it,

and there it was.

Okay, let's move on to the mini challenge.

This week, they all had to sort of

decorate pancakes for a drag brunch themed mini challenge.

So out of the five pancakes that you saw,

which pancake would you like to take a bite out of?

- I'm kind of torn between Eureka's and Aquaria's.

The Pan's Labyrinth with the eyes on the hands.

- Very Aquaria, very Aquaria - So Aquaria, like oh my god.

That was so funny, but then Eureka's having like

the cigarette hanging out of its mouth,

and then all over the table too.

- If we're talking about the beauty of it,

I would definitely go for Aquaria's.

Like if I wanted to taste it,

I would probably say Aquaria's as well.

So congratulations to Asia O'Hara

for her Panquisha creation.

- [Farrah] We love Panquisha.

- Mm, let's go right into the maxi challenge.

This one was really interesting.

- I think that Ru really loves the word inner saboteur.

So I think it's fun to see it translated into a challenge.

- Or as Kameron said, sabot-oire?

- Sabot-oire!

- How do you think this is actually

affecting the girls emotionally?

- A whole episode where they're having to focus

and listen to that dark side to channel it

through the challenge has gotta be

such an emotional rollercoaster.

I know that we kinda bully Ru for

being about the inner saboteur word,

but it's true, we all have that like,

and sometimes, it's hard to shut off and y'know,

it must have been very therapeutic

for the girls to get to actually channel that into art.

- Okay, let's move on to the runway, my favorite part.

Love, love, love the runway.

Let's got down the line, all five girls.

Girl number one, we have Kameron Michaels

and her bad girl, her dark side, Katrina Michaels.

- I loved Kameron's looks. - Okay.

- I thought they were amazing.

Like I loved little snow princess goddess,

y'know, little angel moment,

and then, y'know I love a good warrior drag.

I can tell the kind of effort she put into the headpiece

and the staff, and the y'know.

- The spear? - The spear! (laughs)

- Frankly, I'm a little tired of seeing bitches paint

their foreheads a color to be, y'know, edgy.

Been there, did it first.

- Damn, sis. - So there's that.

Next, we have Eureka and Eufilthior.

- I hate plaid.

Like I love Eureka, hate plaid.

But y'know, I didn't even really care about her looks,

'cause she sold it so well.

You can really tell that Eureka knows who she is.

I love that about a queen.

Someone that is really sure of themselves.

- Eureka is a fierce bitch,

like I gag on everything that she does.

Plaid, I can deal with plaid.

I'm a fan of the plaid,

and I think that Eureka is a force to be reckoned with.

Next we have Miz Cracker and Miz Crumbs.

- Okay, I live for the name Miz Crumbs.

I'm not gonna lie, I loved that good look.

Y'know, I live for a pink hair fantasy.

- [Raja] Oh my god, that pink wig was definitely

one of my favorite parts. - It was so good!

- [Raja] I have a tendency to really love,

y'know, Marie Antoinette themes, and I like that.

- That second villain look, it wasn't my fave.

- It wasn't? Why?

- I couldn't quite figure out where the references were,

and how it connected with her good side.

- Yeah, not too into her second look.

I just thought it was a bit of a missed opportunity.

But I did love her long gray hair.

- Oh yeah, we love a long gray wig.

- Next, we have Aquaria and Sabatina.

- Hello, it's me, Sabatina.

Her first look I love, y'know, pastel color,

so the lavenders had sold me.

I loved the French curled, thick, full ostrich feather

that was on that hat.

The structure of the hat was incredibly impeccable.

I loved that she incorporated that baby seafoam green color.

And with the lavender, that's two colors

I probably wouldn't have thought to put together.

- It's all about, for me, that hat.

It's all about that one single plume

that just sort of like planted itself right on the edge.

I was like, that is such a nice touch,

and that is very very-- - So gorgeous.

- Very Aquaria.

What did you think of Sabatina's look?

- Sabatina, it was so (bleep) amazing.

The only thing, and this is just a personal preference,

I wanted to see that face.

And the thing on the face was

a little bit distracting for me.

- That outfit was impeccable.

It was one of the most coolest things

I had ever seen on Drag Race,

and I'm glad that Aquaria represented her bad side

in a very very high fashion way,

which I would've expected nothing less.

Last but not least, we have Asia O'Hara

and her bad twin, North Korea.

- I think Asia's was my favorite of everybody's.

Not only was her voiceover perfect,

but that orange like, sherbert moment

that she came-- - Creamsicle.

- [Farrah] With those sparkly tights and just

covered in crystals, and the bow in her hair,

and that big white smile, like it was.

I liked the balloons.

- There was a feeling of youth and childhood to it,

by carrying the balloons.

It's definitely thought out,

especially when she came out as North Korea.

- [Farrah] I am going to remember that moment

of that balloon flying over her head

and seeing all those deflated, blackened balloons

just dead and wiltered on her.

Like to me, looked the most evil.

- [Raja] Yes.

- [Farrah] Like, I was spooked.

- Mmhm, I loved seeing the contrast.

That, to me made sense.

So this is always a fun and exciting moment.

Very lighthearted.

It's when the girls have to tell RuPaul

who they think should go home.

- [Farrah] And you know, they've done that

quite a bit this season.

- I feel like they have.

A lot of the answers were Cracker.

I felt like, a lot of girls were like,

time for you to go.

- She hasn't done bad throughout the competition,

but she certainly hasn't been y'know,

winning all the challenges,

so I'm sure that she's probably feeling

that saboteur coming out a little bit,

what with almost all the girls saying her.

- So Aquaria is the winner, yas Aquaria.

Work bitch.

The judges really loved her looks.

They said in fact, that her look on the runway

was one of the top 10 best looks,

ever in RuPaul's Drag Race history, herstory.

- That is an ultimate honor,

and Aquaria, congratulations.

That is super, (bleep) super cool.

- So that leaves Kameron in the bottom two again.

- Oh! - For the third time.

The third time.

Well also, Miz Cracker, who won last week's challenge

is now at the bottom too.

- As unfortunate as it is,

that's just the nature of the game,

and that's your chance to show the world

that you deserve to stay there.

- In my opinion, one of the most epic

Lip Sync for your life moments between Cracker and Kameron.

- [Farrah] Oh, it was just everything I wanted,

you know what I mean?

It was so entertaining.

Oh, when she does a wide split.

- [Raja] How do you do that?

You know, that's one of the hardest splits to do,

is to do it that way.

- [Farrah] It's the hardest split.

- There was a moment with Cracker

where she was right in the middle of the lip sync,

where she's talking about how she had needed

to conjure up the energy that she has

when she performs at home,

and I really found that to be very profound.

- That was probably a really good strategy for her,

to try and, your happy place is your home bar, y'know?

- Miz Cracker is eliminated, Kameron's left,

and we are here now, in present time, with the final four.

- Aaah! - Can you believe?

- I am so happy, and I'm so proud for the girls

that are in the top four.

They have really fought to get there.

They have really blown my mind

with what they've brought to the competition,

and I just can't wait to see how,

y'know, the rest plays out.

- I'm glad to see that it is this four,

and I'm very excited to crown a winner very soon.

- Oh my god, I can't believe we're gonna have another winner

for RuPaul's Drag Race! - Oh my.

Who is your prediction as winner?

- My number one pick is gonna be Eureka.

I think that she has a really big message,

and I feel like she has a story,

and I feel like she has things that she stands for.

And that's what I love.

I love a winner that can y'know,

change people's minds about things.

- I would say would be somewhere between

Aquaria and Eureka.

Those two have been such powerful players.

I personally, would like to see Eureka as a winner.

I mean, not because I have any sort of bias

against the two of them,

but I think that Eureka might have

more to offer in relatability.

I want to thank you so much

for joining us today, Farrah Moan.

It's been so fun talking to you.

I feel like you're the missing link in my life,

and we should have more conversations like this.

- Oh, thank you so much for having me.

It's been so fun sitting down with you.

- And thank you so much for joining us

this week on The Pit Stop.

We'll see you next week.

Good-bye, everyone.

Whatcha Packin': Miz Cracker | Season 10 Episode 11 | RuPaul's Drag Race Season 10 - Duration: 9:34.

>> Hey my darlings it's me Michelle massage

and welcome to another episode of what you packin.

And today we have the one and only.

Ms cracker.

She's thin white and salty.

I'm going to start this interview

by asking the question about me.

OK. Only because it's something I wanted to know. Right.

Did you sense at all how some what obsessed with you

I was? I was hoping.

>> But let me tell you I was in West Africa

for the collapse of a government

and that was less scary than standing before Michelle Visage.

I admire you so much I was like

Please let me be right. I hope she really likes it.

>> I know nothing about you. I want to know about you.

Yeah and listen she loves talking

so she would love to tell you about herself.

She loves talking but she doesn't love emotion.

Oh yeah. My favorite emotion is. Where does it come from?

>> Well you know I think it's from growing up

in a very weird household you know

obviously my weirdness comes from somewhere

and you know my parents lived on the same property

but in separate houses.

So like stop there. Explain.

>> My mom lived in her art studio

where she did her thing my dad

lived in the house where he did his thing.

>> So they were disconnected? Like the guest house

would be her art studio.

Yeah different worlds completely different worlds

and it was sort of like you know in that environment

it's like you learn how to compartmentalize.

You just explained it all in one paragraph.

>> You're welcome. You spent a life.

Viewing two people.

Not emoting and pulling back from each other.

Right. And even if they're true emotion was to be anger.

Yeah. Disdain.Yeah.

They weren't showing anything

except separating. Yeah. From each other

to not be together. That's right.

So you all are kind of stuck with this emotion

of I'm not going to give it up.

Not going to give it up because you were taught how to you hold it back.

Yeah you're weird and when I say weird

that's the highest compliment you're going to get for me

because the weird people the people that are willing

to march to the beat of their own drummer

are the people who not only succeed but have longevity.

It's the people that want to fit in that we're bored with.

We want the people that are willing to dance

and play and color in the margins.

And you have to stop trying to live in the main space.

>> Yeah I think I learned that in a huge way here.

Every time I did well I looked around the room

and I was like oh lord I'm so different

from everyone I must be on the bottom.

And those were the times that I was on the top when.

I had nothing in common with anyone else in the work room

and I just had to learn to say yeah.

You're going to be different.

And that is going to be a good thing.

>> Celebrate that because you're so amazing.

>> Thank you. You might have felt less than.

And I think that you expressed that a few times

on the main stage. Yeah. That was never the case.

OK. You were the only one who was doing it.

OK. I know Ru must have told you that

you know you a few times in the the walkthrough.

I would feel about myself the way Ruth feels about me.

And we have 20 minutes like we got to get to faith

I get it, it's changing a lifetime of beliefs

and mostly habit.

>> Yeah. Now I think it should always be a rush

to have faith in yourself

even if you're not in a competition

and you're just out in the world if you're out in the world

make it give yourself 20 minutes

and be like I want to love myself before I go to work today

because it is an emergency.

I love that I agree.

What was your experience like. In New York City.

She's the comedy queen.

And when I got here suddenly I was a runaway queen.

And learning that the places

that you're most scared of that fear

will fuel you to do better.

So I ended up out performing myself in the places

that I was most afraid

and underperforming in the spots

I was like I have it in the bag.

>> Do you and Aquaria have a little more frenemy situation

or are you friends back at home.

>> Back at home. It's been back and forth.

We were very close friends at the time that I really enjoyed.

She helped me so much we drifted apart before the show.

For reasons that I don't understand.

Did you talk about it? On the competition

We were able to talk about it.

We fought like animals. We hated each other.

And then.

We let that burn off and by the end

I'm like so grateful that we walked out of it.

When I left I was like here's some things of mine

that I know you like.

Please bring us a crown. That was really kind.

And without this competition we would have been stuck back

where we were at home

where things had gone sour for reasons unspoken.

>> You were saying here that you back home your comedy queen.

I think you're more of an artsy queen and I hate to label

Oh I would. I definitely was here in this competition

let me say that is not me saying you're not funny.

Yeah me saying that is more like your work.

Yeah. With some punchlines.

Yeah and I think you should work all of that in.

Tell me about some of these look you brought back here.

Start with this safety hazard dress.

>> OK. Well I wanted to have a look.

>> That was something that would make people

ashamed to walk around the corner you will be like

What is she doing.

>> And so this is all made out of traffic cones

and you know I love

this Sci-Fi sort of Jetsons metropolis feeling.

I laugh every time I see it.

And so I know that it's doing what I want.

>> It's funny. It's campy. And the one behind me

this beautiful Peyton leather type of.

>> Yeah. It's just this like a futuristic stewardess.

Airline hostess kind of feel and.

It's part of the Kracker has this Barbie woman tendency

and like that was dead center for me.

So yeah I love her.

Yeah but I'm really drawn to this kind of Miss Dior

moment the center.

Yeah she's lovely. I love this.

I have a very close friend who's a publisher.

He was like come over I want you to see.

>> This film dior.

And I at the time was preparing to do a big competition and.

I was watching this man who had done so much come apart.

>> Under the pressure to be the most. The best. In eight weeks.

And I was like This is me right now.

So this dress that spoke to me.

I did a sort of homage to it. It's a little bit different.

>> The cage is showing through sort of the construction

is showing through.

I just wanted to capture

that like really glorious moment under pressure.

Do you make your own goods For this competition.

I made about half of them. So you sew? I sew. Great. Yeah.

Doing the sewing challenges and being able to show

that I can sew like this

and that I can work with strange materials

which I've been doing since I was a little kid with my sister.

>> That was I think my favorite part because you know it shows

that it's not just stuff that I had a long time

to prepare that someone else made.

If you want me to do something I can make you

something amazing right now. You know what I mean.

Yeah. Do you feel like you were justified.

>> In leaving. Meaning it doesn't matter to me

because I think you did great competition.

Do you think you were being sent home

for the challenge

you were sent home for do you think was justified

based on the challenge.

When I walked out there I was like I win.

>> This is me.

But hearing the critiques I was like you do have a point.

And so I'm ready to defend my place here.

You know based on those critiques I was like okay.

You do realize I mean I was devastated.

>> When you went home.

But the thing with that song in particular

that's probably if not the one of the sexiest songs ever.

Yeah. So I felt me personally

and I have no say in it the cartwheels and all that stuff.

It just didn't speak to that song. Right.

Which is why. Yeah.

You ended up going home. Okay. In my opinion. Okay.

This is not speaking for Ru or for the show.

That's what I can only surmise. Yeah

>> And I think it's when you just want to give

literally everything you have.

Sometimes the edit. Sometimes it's too much.

And you have to think just like you said the edit. But Miz Cracker

>> I am a diehard fan. I am. So proud of you.

I want you to be honest with yourself.

Be open with yourself enjoy everything

that this competition is going to bring to you.

You're one of us your family your top five bitch

you came in fifth like me holla.

And I am so proud of everything your doing.

Thank you so much for sharing your gift with us.

I have enjoyed the ride greatly.

I can't tell you. How much your presence means

and even when you think that you are being mean.

for your job. I can still.

I can still feel. I can still feel the love.

It kept me going through.

Thank you baby. Social media is Miz Cracker?

@Miz_Cracker

Spelled just like the smack on the racial slur.

Till next time you guys thank you for joining me

Classical Musicians React: GFRIEND 'Love Whisper' vs 'Summer Rain' - Duration: 18:28.

James: This is so bad, I know the melody, oh oh oh my god!!!

Umu: This is a girl group called GFriend, they have six members and they debuted in 2015

And first we are reacting to a song called love whisper

at the end of this music video there

is kind of like a teaser hinting to the next one and you'll hear it

quote a "classical piece" because the next song is actually quoting a classical piece. Both: Three, two one

Isaac: [whispers] loveeeee

Aaron: i love this bassline oh! Olivia: [sings the bassline]

Aaron: It's great bass line Kevin: that's so retro that recorder this sound is retro

Oh, I love it, it all incorporates really well

Henry: this is like such an

interesting

progression so far

Katie: I'm sorry, whoa

Jarod: Flowers outdoors, rejuvenated sound, TEXT PAINTING Katie: White Hugo: they're wearing white clothing to symbolize purity.

Oh sh*t dance. get it. Yes.

d*mn they can dance. Kevin: Yeah Isaac: oh nice

Kevin: the little yellow brick asset a little it of a roll feel a little bit

Peyton: I remember this group now they had like a specific sound

Henry: Little-known fact I was obsessed with trains when I was a kid

So this video is bringing back like a weird amount of nostalgia

Elizabeth: oh that's a good show

Henry: I LOVED trains

Lindsey: ohhh that's like chromatic descending line in there whooo and the bass in the background

Isaac: [sings] Kevin: minor iv (minor 4)

Isaac: OHHHHH

Kevin: [celebrates]

Isaac: Soarin' (flyin') Jarod: MODULATION new key!!!!

Isaac: [la da da da da] Kevin: [shimmy shimmy]

Lindsey: The colors are really vibrant though

I really feel like they just took the thing and then they were like alright let's put this whole video into the software and then lets go to the saturation thing and go WHOOP

Aaron: ohhh I like this melody

Isaac: d*mn they all have really good--- Kevin: of course they would do that

Isaac: [sings ahhhh] Kevin: yeah they didn't do the "closer" chord progression [sings the chord progression]

Hugo: oh there they all are they just grew up out of the ground like plants

Kevin: OH They just go back to the key somehow. Henry: was that a (climatic) immediate modulation?

Umu: oohhhh elizabeth: ohhh!

Aaron: You know what's weird? is throughout these like kpop I always have such a hard time like figuring out if it's minor or major

Is that is it just me? Olivia: Well, there's cause of modal mixture

They use a lot of modal mixture Aaron: okay, okay, respect, respect

Isaac: They do descending for all of these, you know it's ridiculous Kevin: Yeah

Isaac: wahhh It's good

The col--- the colors are so, what the heck Kevin: yeah

Lindsey: Everything about this is very clean like visuals and audio

Isaac: I like her voice.. it's great [the start of a fangirl era? lol] Charlotte: Wow. She has a really unique color to her voice Peyton: Yeah

Henry: This is such an interesting concept, that they're like listening to nature?

idk it's kinda cool

Lindsey: It keeps 1-2,

1, 2, 3 4...

Like 2 is like the dominant beat in this but not prominent

Peyton: [tapping] Charlotte: oh Peyton: GUITAR SOLOOOOO

Charlotte: I like how they put them under water here to like really highlight the fact that they're doing things with their feet

Lindsey: wait this is ethereal Davis: aww see her voice sounds good like

they should use it more in this song i feel like they don't use it enough

Hugo: [snaps]

They found the tree they found it

Does that mean they also found the key that they want to stay in [lol]

Jarod: I love that when they do like the layering were they put like one voice on top sustained and everybody else underneath it

That's like a really cool effect. It's gets me every time I love the layering, it's like a cake

Katie: I want all of their clothes [very serious]

Jarod: I want their legs Katie: except for that one ou--- yeah I want their legs!!!

Elizabeth: ohhh it just kinda ends oh now piano henry: hey pianer

Isaac: No, it's fin-- dang it shouldn't be finished [french horn in the background] yes. Continue. nooooooooooo

Hugo: [gasp] James: oh wait [gasp]

Hugo: [sings along to ending]

Hugo: Sh*t I feel like a bad classical musician

Second Listen

James: This is so bad, I know the melody. Hugo: Oh, f*ck what is that James: OH OH Oh my god. oh it's uh

James: [sings the tune]

Hugo: oh Yeah it's uh James: what's it called? in fruh lik [german lyrics] no, it's I know more not--- but it's um Schumann

THERE WE GO alright Schumann

Oh my god, we look so bad. Hugo: What is it? James: No

No, no Umu: Dicht der libe

Hugo: Oh f*cking damn it James: ...what's the song in? Hugo: [says German name] it was it!

James: James was KIND OF right Umu: ANYWAYS, what'd you think of

love whispered James: it was

Surprisingly complex. I mean nice nice descending sequences. Nice modulations Hugo: f*ck ton of modulations

Nice video as well Aaron: the melody was really catchy because it didn't do what you expected it to do

you know, it went I think it went up to V and then

Did like a vi - vii action?

or was it like a vii- I (seven to one) like it kept going which was interesting because you expected it to resolve back down

Especially the way that the bass and the chord progressions were going which is always good

Katie: uh it was really interesting because they modulated to ii in the chorus and it was a pretty direct

Modulation and ii is not a very common key to modulate to in a regular song. So that's why they had caught us off guard

Jarod: Yeah, you know

I think the coolest thing for me about that song was like the beat because often times whenever we listen a lot of these beats

they're like oh

You feel the quarter note, whereas for this one. You felt the

eighth note so you just sit here you're just groovin', It keeps the motion going. It's a very playful song so it's builds energy

So it's like even though there's not the constant eighth note running the way they use the space the way they use syncopation

It makes you constantly think of and feel that eighth note pulse, keeps the song going forward.

Isaac: YES. [tosses headphones]

I liked it is very light and pretty sounding the lead singer

She's like she has a great voice, but holy sh-- wait that other girl. She is great. Umu: The one with the short hair?

She's un ha Isaac: Dude, she has such a great voice

I was just thinking all this is like oh, this is one of those nice peppy songs

But as soon as she sang it was just like it hit me W O W.

Kevin: i don't think this one stood out to me much as the other two GFriend songs

I've heard but it's definitely within their style they can do as many songs in the style as they and I would listen to all. Isaac: [thumbs up]

of them like this is just one of those groups where I feel like they found a sound that really really works and I just.

Can't get enough! Umu: So moving on to song number 2, This is called summer rain this album

Compares the feelings of unrequited love and this is supposed to be about being in love

And how it's just like summer rain beautiful and precious yet unpredictable and it does quote a Schumann song

Both: 3,2,1

[ASMR RAIN]

Katie: ohhh that's gonna put me to sleepppp

Kevin: Oh, it's a dict er libe the first movement

Hugo: oh, they're taking it fast. Kevin: Oh, they even include the vocal line for a little bit

Lindsey: WHATTTTT ahahah what just happened Davis: it's like synced with the rain

Davis: Sort of the same very similar sort of percussion that was using in the last one

Lindsey: That was crazy

Charlotte: I still can't get over how unique her sound is Peyton: it's like a mature high voice. Charlotte: Yeah, I think that's why it's like weird to me. Yeah

Peyton: Like you usually you hear that youth and sound that naturally high but she still sounds like a grown...

Jarod: yeah like Schumann like a one republic esque beat on top of it liek

Henry: I can't frickin tell if it's a real bass or not

Elizabeth: This is really bothering you.[lol] henry: It's really bugging me, I want it to be like

Cause I want it to be a real bassist because like this grooves, you know?

Olivia: yeah these are more distinct minor and major Aaron: yeah, it's not as ambiguous Isaac: awww descending sequence

Kevin: very rainy, yeah I like it

Kevin: Somehow this song sounds rainier even though it's still that bright

I don't get the incorporation of Dict er Libe, I just don't get it.

Henry: oh I've played that oh my god. Yeah, no no

No, it's um dict er libe yeah first one in the wonderfully fair month of may yeah I played that on my jury

Jarod: I never thought I'd be jamming out to like Schumann esque like music in in this kinda way. I dig.

Henry: Beautiful. Everyone should look it up, It's

Fitz wund er lik, it's incredible

I'm stunned they used it in this video. Sorry.

Lidnsey: We got like a Davis: nice

lindsey: that did not go where I thought I was going to

Jarod: i love like the use of like passing tones in the next section in like [sings]

Kevin: Like it's just the combination of chords, it's just it's so elegant

Like it's something we haven't heard. see liek that

it combines like the melancholy of like

Kdrama music but just makes it fresh enough. I don't even know what it is

Olivia: They incorporated it very nicely it was a very like tasteful Aaron: it fits very good

Olivia: Like they didn't just kind of like shove it in there like they prepared it

Elizabeth: aw she looks sad

Henry: if i was a bass player I would be like

That would be like moving all of this. I'd be playing way too many notes

Kevin: Yeah, that's great though

a little half-diminished how many songs actually have diminished chords. Just think about that for a second?

Jarod: V OHHHH i thought it was gonna go to V but then it didn't

Katie: That's so cool, I'm obsessed with this Kevin: aw it ends on that? aw

Isaac: Dude, I'm liking this group a lot.

Katie: please play it again [repeats] Jarod: [repeating Schumann melody]

Jarod: Rain

Olivia: They kind of follow the same like the minor and major sections that like go back and forth the way that Schumann does

which is kinda cool

Katie: ohhh the grace note Jarod: this here perfect authentic cadence chord. because it ends

on three in the top voice

Katie: that had the little [sings the ending grace note]

that was gorgeous. I'm obsessed with that that like he's like one of my favorite k-pop songs.

What is what is this Schumann? What is Schumann?

Katie: OHHHH

I mun dict shunen dict er nacht. Jarod: I did know it sounds like this!!!

Katie: It's so beautiful

Umu: Do you know anything about what he is talking about in that song?

Can you relate it to the overall like what they were going for in this song about unrequited love?

Jarod: I am going to look up a translation

Katie: Yeah, actually it's about unrequited love.

The first half of it. It's like in the beautiful month of May when all the flowers are blooming blah blah blah

I went and I like I told her that I loved her blah blah blah and then the second one

It's like in wonderful month of May. All the birds were singing

Jarod: I told her "I loved her" Katie: then it ended not on like a major tonic chord

So you kind of assumed that she didn't say it back

But a beautiful song beautiful choice Jarod: like it was like you can kind of feel this sense of longing. Katie: Mm-hmm

Jarod: You know, it's like the the insert of the piano as this kind of this ominous call because they're hinting

at it, so it's like this like the mysterious summary

It's like you can hear them sing kind of like the same from this element. You don't really know

You don't know if it's good if it's bad blah, like it's just very beautifully put together

You know Kevin: I feel like if the problem, piano wasn't MIDI and it still kept that very robotic [sings] then it would've been better

Isaac: So aesthetic Kevin: if it were softer a little more mellow a bit more Steinway and a bit less

Yamaha? Clavinova?

Isaac: I like this group

Kevin: The yeah the reiteration at the end which I'm sure isn't in the real track, it was better

But it still sound like a MIDI piano. I mean, this is like the most delicate Schumann

bipolar piece ever and you do [sings violent version of melody]

DADADADA

You know, I think it's it's a disservice

I don't think it was very tasteful but the rest that's all was really nice

And for some reason I just felt the rain maybe it's the half diminished chords

Maybe it's like the progressions that I don't remember right now

But just felt like rainier than the other song even though the mixing is very much the same

Isaac: I don't know for the Schumann reference. It seems out of place before me because it's out of place

There's just this nuance and niceness about it. It gives that maybe a nostalgic feeling to like when you were like childhood

You may be listened to like one of those music boxes. Yeah one of those

For me it had an impact

But I can see how it's like a little awkward because like it was placed really awkwardly

Henry: They use Schumann of the wonderfully fair month of May

But then they basically didn't make any other allusion to it other than stealing the first two bars of the piano

like

Elizabeth: they could've done so much but if you're gonna do an homage to Schumann

He was such a musical genius. I mean the way he used harmony the way he use text painting

There's just like so many more ways. You can honor his memory

I mean if you want to make a video using Schumann and like he had he had a life with so much pain in it

So much emotional turmoil. I mean there were a lot of parts in the song. It's about unrequited love, right?

There's so many parts in the video where like she's crumbling up the letter and there's the notebook

That's where the ink is running

There's so many places where they could have introduced harmonies or chromaticism or something interesting rhythmic that could have

Symbolized what was happening in there narrative Henry: be more like Schumann Elizabeth: EXACTLY

Just be Schumann Davis: that was just like so such a good like brick in the wall of that song

I guess Lidnsey: I thought it worked really well with the drum line. That was like [sings] Davis: yeah, yeah

They kind of complemented each other really well, also it seems like they took that and used it in their compositional techniques

But they didn't like write the song on it

You know

I think it was like perfect and they also didn't just like have it in the beginning and then bring it back at the end

and that was it like they sprinkled it lightly throughout the summer rain

Davis: they garnish garnish Lindsey: they garnished it

Umu: Yeah and comparing this one with love whisper they were actually composed by the same exact composing duo called Iggy young-bae

what do you think of those two songs from here to each other

katie: definitely made sense in the order that they were and

I definitely see like resemblences in the composing style between the two. I really like them both

Yeah, and it's like it's interesting

I feel like if you had to put these together it's a game of first and second movement

Like you have the really energetic

first movement that's like grabs your attention that's like full of like life and whatever think of me messages you have this like this very

reserved kind of second movement

I mean even though it's not completely like ballad esque but like for kpop standards like that

Perspective like it's very kind of like milder. very tame very pretty. You know, that's their second movement

It's like you said, it's probably trilogy. So it's like a third one. It's like it's just your banger

You know, it's how you go out. James: I think there was more of a simplification in the second video. Hugo: Yeah, I think so

James: Well just in the chord structure on its own yeh no

I really liked the first one based off the various parts that are going on. , and this didn't have that

Charlotte: I can see how together like five wise but I think that they're just different

emotions Peyton: I think the second ones honestly a little more solemn but like as far as solemn songs go it's still like

Kevin: They don't have a lot of dynamic contrast in their songs

But for some reason it's always interesting and they never lose attention. I just...gfriend you got something

Composers duo dudes you got something I think the reason

G'friend really works. It feels like the aren't showing off anything like when they use chords

It feels like it's very natural. It's like we're not using this half diminished 7 to be all Whoa

We're using it because we have a musical idea and that core just serves in

conveying the idea

They're so good. They're so good. They make me so happy. Umu: Hello, everyone

De Niro Was Warned About Trashing Trump At Tony Awards And Didn't Listen, Got What He Deserved On S. - Duration: 5:40.

De Niro Was Warned About Trashing Trump At Tony Awards And Didn't Listen, Got What

He Deserved On Stage.

Trump-Derangement Syndrome was in full swing last night at the 2018 Tony Awards.

Hollywood & New York Cities Elite gathered in the Empire State to host yet, another phony

awards show for the entitled millionaire class.

Every year, these award shows feature millionaire, and billionaire talking down to the rest of

the world telling us exactly what we should be doing, and how to do it while they live

by their own rules, and drink Dom Perigon, and eat beluga caviar backstage.

According to the World Wildlife Federation, The Bulga Fish is CRITICALLY ENDANGERED.

Yet, these elitist will preach how everyone else is destroying the planet, and need to

reduce their footprint.

This is one of many examples of how hypocritical Hollywood is.

They could care less about the earth.

They're only in it to make money and live by their own set of rules.

If you really want to make it in Hollywood these day's, all you have to do is say "FucK

Trump"!

That's it.

The day's of being raped by Harvey Weinstein are over.

You no longer have to degrade your body, just your President.

Well, that is if the current President is a Republican.

Republicans are scarce in Hollywood.

The elite has kept them away for as long as they could.

With the exception of a few BIG TIME stars like Mel Gibson, Tim Allen, James Woods, and

Kelsey Grammar who can't be brought down.

We call them "Too Big To Destroy" by Hollywood.

This year's Tony Awards was by far the most disgusting awards show yet.

Legendary actor Robert De Niro felt he needed to address how he felt about President Trump

in front of millions of people.

NEW YORK — With a bleep on live television and double fists raised in the air, Robert

De Niro got the theater crowd on its feet at the Tony Awards with a rousing political

introduction of his old friend Bruce Springsteen, that was focused squarely elsewhere — on

President Trump.

De Niro, a staunch Trump opponent, dropped a couple of F-bombs heard clearly by the Radio

City Music crowd Sunday night.

The CBS television audience heard dead silence instead before he raised his arms twice, and

earned a sustained standing ovation.

The legendary actor urged the audience to vote in November, and lauded Springsteen for

his own political commitment before the singer sat, at a piano for a moving performance based

on his "Springsteen on Broadway" show that had him singing his classic hit, "My

Hometown."

De Niro said of Springsteen: "Bruce, you can rock the house like nobody else and even

more importantly in these perilous times, you rock the vote, always fighting for, in

your own words, truth, transparency, and integrity in government.

Boy, do we need that now."

CBS News

Barack Obama brought SHAME to the White House after the president went on his apology tour

around the world.

Never in history has a U.S President done that, yet De Niro claims there is no truth,

transparency, and integrity in the Government.

I wonder how long he's been sleeping.

By the looks of his facial hair, I say a long time.

CBS wasn't having any of De Niro's shenanigans.

While De Niro thought he had the attention of millions of people around the world on

the Television, he didn't know that he was actually being silenced.

No one actually heard what De Niro said while watching live.

De Niro got what he deserved.

CBS made sure his little act was bleeped out, so you couldn't even make out what he said.

However, this morning the unedited versions came out, and the American people are PISSED!

Could you imagine if Clint Eastwood went on stage, and said "FucK Obama?

Boy would the crowd turn into a mob.

De Niro was warned before about trashing the President.

The American people are not going to stand for this crap any longer.

Hollywood ratings are already in the gutter, yet they can't seem to get the hint.

Trump supporters make up 63 million people in the United States alone.

That's not counting the millions of people around the world that have expressed their

support for the President.

Many Democrats have come out over the last year, and have shown their support of the

President.

Monday, conservatives, including a few Hollywood voices, got their moment of rebuttal on social

media, calling the display "disgusting" and "childish" and thanking the Oscar

winner for helping the president win reelection in 2020.

TV host Piers Morgan took the opportunity to ponder why people hate Trump, so much they'd

rather see America fail than the president succeed.

"It's childish, pathetic and embarrassing all the things De Niro professes to hate in

Trump," Morgan said of the foul language.

"And coming as the President tries to forge peace with North Korea, it also feels very

unpatriotic and disloyal."

Said actor Kevin Sorbo, "Just because he plays tough guys, doesn't make him one."

LA Times,

De Niro and the rest of the liberals in Hollywood can't seem to understand they're only

helping the President secure a second term.

The constant lies, disrespect, and fake news against the President has rubbed many the

wrong way.

Even many on the left are starting to wake up and escape the Democratic Plantation.
