Youtube daily Jun 13 2018

hi everyone today I am going to show you how to allow flash in Google Chrome

so open up Google Chrome and search a game on the Internet

or you can go to your site where you play games so I'm going to go google and

search a game now I'm going to search war games so I'm gonna go to poki.com

um I guess now here you can select your game but I'm going to select not this I

have played that and also that no no okay so I think I didn't play this so

I'm gonna select warlight I guess now here you can see there's an ad so I can

skip this I have skipped the ad now the game wants to be run but Google Chrome

has blocked it so I have to click this to enable adobe flash prayer but it is very

irritating if you want to do that every time so click this icon I guess I should

call this icon or anything so click icon now we can see it has said

your connection to this site is not sec.... secure bla bla bla

now click site settings sometimes the site cannot be trusted so be sure

which site you are using or playing games at now on flash option we can see the

option is set to ask default now we have to make it allow so now we have

made it allow so I'm going to restart the site again now it has restarted itself

now we can see I'm going to skip the ad and it will start the game itself well

it did so our work has been done but remember if you are going to play games

at poki.com then you will no longer need to

click 'Click me to enable Adobe Flash Player' but if you are on other sites then

you have to use this method because Google Chrome has been very concerned

about them security and all the stuff so you cannot allow flash for every site

for now I guess at this version so I think you have to do this in the hard

way well it is very saddening but I know but

the method I got I showed you guys so if it helps then give it a like and also

subscribe this channel to get more videos and updates and also comment

below if you have any kind of problems and thanks for watching this video

Miz Cracker's 'Pippi Longstocking' Makeup Tutorial 💄 | RuPaul's Drag Race Season 10 - Duration: 11:57.

- Shabbat shablam, everybody!

It's Miz Cracker from season 10.

We're going to to a little makeup tutorial

Pippy Longstocking/denim-and-diamonds look today.

I'm going to take you from this that my mother made

to this face, that I made.

The first thing I want to do

is to get rid of everything I don't like,

which on my face is basically everything.

So let's start by covering my thinning,

dishwater brown hair.

Pull that up and away.

Duct tape, to pull about 10 years off of my face.

We're going to pull my skin back.

We're going to glue the side at my temples right here

and then yank my face back.

Woo, this is so much fun.

I can't wait for three hours from now when I have a migraine

from everything I've done to my skull.

And we're securing these little tape marks here.

She is lifted, goddammit.

So here's the canvas, it's time to do the paint.

I'm taking this little cotton pad with rubbing alcohol.

I'm removing some of the oils off of my skin.

Oil interacts with all of your makeup

and keeps things from setting properly,

so let's just dry this bitch out.

I have these nice, Eastern-European, Jewish eyebrows.

Look at all of that fur.

We're gonna get rid of that.

So you're running your eyebrow backwards.

Shablam!

I don't shave my eyebrows because

one of the most important things about drag for me

is the double life.

I like to be fully a boy when I'm a boy,

and fully a woman when I'm a woman,

and I don't want there to be any evidence

on my face of drag when I'm out of drag.

We're going to go in here and put some foundation in.

Get a professional television Paint Stick.

It will cover all of your childhood issues.

The funny thing about me doing a makeup tutorial

is that I care like the least about makeup.

For me, drag is about interacting with people,

telling stories, making people laugh,

getting ideas out there,

and makeup is just what you have to do

to get your foot in the door and call it drag.

I'm taking a sponge.

Miss Fame taught me to very lightly,

and in tiny, little circles,

go around and spread that foundation.

Look how nice and evenly covered

and smooth it is with that little foundation.

You would never guess

that I'm Bob the Drag Queen's drag daughter.

Now I want to contour, same thing,

TV Paint Stick, a nice contour color.

If you don't know what to choose,

then just ask the nice lady at the store,

what is a great foundation color for me?

She will pick it for you, get you started.

There we go.

Just a little bit of foundation

right at the corner of my jawline.

My cheekbone down towards my mouth.

Now we're going to use a nice beautyblender.

It's a little bit moist

because everything works better when it's moist.

Going down the line,

see how she's opening up, smoothing out.

And then I'm gonna go increasingly large circle around.

Look at her, she's fanning out, she's pretty.

Now depending on how much makeup is part of your identity,

you can go ahead and blend and blend forever,

but, girl, I'm just trying to put this clown paint out there

so I can go and tell jokes.

So I'm just going to do little bit of blending,

just enough so that people won't come for me.

These are almost dry,

so I'm gonna go ahead and curl my lashes.

It's going to open up and brighten my eye.

I'm not going to have my eyelashes

dangling over the whites of my eyes.

So let's just throw on one more layer.

And then now that is going to dry and set

while we put on our highlight.

Now I'm a fish queen so I use clown white

to highlight my face.

Let's do it.

I'm going to warm it up a little bit

'cause clown white is very thick.

Put it on the back of my hand.

And then we just gonna tap

a nice little check mark on my face.

Really what I'm doing is I'm touching along the bone here.

You can feel your cheekbone and highlight that.

Nice little mustache.

Wonderful.

Using this beautyblender.

No, I'm using a completely different beautyblender

that I use for only highlighting.

Oh, come through, she's almost a woman.

I'm gonna cover the inside of my eyebrows here.

Just with an extra layer of the Paint Stick foundation.

Shablam.

Set that.

I'm just gonna cover this eyebrow up like this.

Nice and thick.

And shablam, let's powder around your forehead.

I'm only gonna cover the front of my forehead

with foundation.

We don't need to get up into the sides here.

We'll get to that in a minute.

Now it's time to go with that contour again.

Do a nice little triangle on the forehead.

Shablam, like this.

Again, we're doing those tiny little circles

outward and outward and outward.

Soft makeup is for ladies and men who that like ladies.

I look like a dude,

so we are going in hard with this makeup.

We are giving you Trixie hard contours.

Now I'm taking Coty powder.

Do not use anything else

but a really intense setting powder like Coty powder.

Don't try to use some little flimsy,

made-for-ladies setting powder.

You really wanna,

Oh!

I do this every time, I forgot to highlight my nose.

All right, I'm gonna highlight my nose

using the clown white again.

I guess we're gonna blend it in

as if we hadn't powdered over our nose.

You should really put your cream highlights in

before you powder down.

But since I am like an aging queen,

I forget stuff sometimes, and that's fine.

Powder it out, blend it out.

Do this nose.

For me, the nose contour is so important

because my nose is so asymmetrical,

we're going to try to give it some symmetry in there.

It runs diagonally across my face

and we're going to try to give the illusion

that it runs straight down.

One of my contours is going to come over a little too far,

and one of them is going to not go over far enough,

and that's going to give the illusion

that my nose is straight.

Shablam.

There she is.

Just straight up and down the line,

but do those tiny little circles,

it really makes all the difference.

Reclaiming my highlight, shablam.

There we go.

Okay, now we can set.

Bam!

- See how the contrast is coming down

on my highlighters and contours?

What a wonderful thing.

Here she is, she looks gorgeous.

We're going to remove a little

of this excess and we're done.

My name is Jeffree Star.

I'm just kidding.

I'm a maverick, so I'm going to do my eyebrows right now.

Make a little mark at the top of my eye socket,

right on the bone.

Right above the inside corner of my eye on both sides.

Then from the outside of my iris,

straight up to my eyebrow,

I'm going to make a mark on both sides.

Shablam.

And then I'm gonna connect the dots, god dammit.

Look out Dusty, I'm coming for your gig.

Right along the socket there.

I feel the bone right under the brush.

Great, wonderful.

So now I started my eyebrows then I'm gonna go

up and just do a nice curve.

Going to draw a line between this little mark here

and that mark there, and there's a nice long eyebrow.

Just a nice, long eyebrow.

She's curvy.

I love these little marks here.

I notice Valentina does them.

A couple girls in New York City does them.

I'm using the brush here to just decide

the width of my eyebrows.

Coincidentally, I like my eyebrows

to about the width of one of theses brushes, wedge brushes.

Wedge brushes, chisel brushes,

angle brushes, I don't know.

I always feel so much anxiety about my eyebrows

until I outline them and then I'm like

oh, she's coming, she's coming through.

Let's look at her, she's nice.

And fill it in.

Start with a light color in the center here.

Shablam.

We gonna go in here and we're gonna cut

under the eyebrows with the clown white.

Shablam.

Just get enough in there, enough paint in there that

we can work and blend it around.

What shape am I doing this blending in?

Tiny little circles?

Exactly.

I just put it in the center of my eye.

Let's use some super white powder.

If only I could use super white on my emotional life,

just smooth out all the issues, there we go.

I'm gonna do a nice purple palette,

because I'm doing pink today.

It's a nice gloss, so that you're putting shadow in here

but it also has a little shine to it.

I'm just going to paint right along my eye socket.

I want to try to run the line a little farther

out parallel to my eyebrow.

Blend, blend, blend, blend, blend.

Right in the middle of this cut crease here,

I'm just going to add a line of black,

to just really emphasize the cut.

Look at her.

Now I'm just gonna paint from the corner of my eye up,

while I'm looking at myself.

Directly in the eye.

Pointing towards the tip of my eyebrow

and to the corner of my eye, shablam, a line.

Shablam, it's just that easy.

Here we go, just filling it in.

This eyeliner is like my last boyfriend.

It is just the best I can do right now.

Now I'm taking my cut crease color, running it under here.

There we go.

The next thing I want to do is go ahead

and go in with the highlights for my face.

Highlighting my temples.

This is part that Kim Kardashian loves to highlight so much.

This area right here.

Just right in the center,

it really narrows up your forehead.

Down thd center of my late in life nose highlight, shablam.

Get a little highlight in this area here.

Do this little dot, this is the Aja dot here, right here.

Here we go, shablam.

Monique Hart told me that my nose contour was too harsh

and she wasn't wrong, so we're gonna use a nice, soft brush.

I was like how dare you?

And then I looked at the pictures and was like, all right.

Here we go, just blending this out.

Girl, we're blending our contours in with the powders.

Okay now we're gonna do my lips.

Listen, when I first starting drag,

my lips were exactly like my bank account, overdrawn.

My lips are naturally overdrawn,

so let's go in here with this.

The blush is gonna help blend my contours

into the rest of my face.

Look at that, she's so nice.

It warms up your face.

Now, we're gonna put on some lashes.

For me, that is the crowning moment.

I'm not one of the queens that does bottom lashes

because I have such a small face.

Anytime I put bottom lashes on I feel like it just

makes my eyes too big for my face.

Like Mrs. Potato Head effect.

I don't want to look like Anne Hathaway,

I just want to look like a regular person.

As you can tell, she likes to do a natural look.

Okay, now we're using weave bond.

I'm gonna bend the lash in the shape

of my eye and let it dry.

God, she looks a wreck, look at this.

Place it on.

And just keep holding in the place that you want it to be.

All right.

All right everybody, this is the face

that I'm going to wear for my look.

So it's time to put on of the look.

I have to tell you something that Bob the Drag Queen

told me that I have lived by.

It does not matter what you think you look like.

If you don't like your face, leave the house anyway.

Because the important part of drag

is connecting with people.

And, listen, it's not about the makeup.

It's about being there.

So let's do it.

All right everybody, here I am in my completed look.

I'm giving you denim and diamonds.

It's really doing wonders for my diction.

Follow me on social media.

You can find me @miz_cracker.

Spelled just like the snack and the racial slur,

and I look forward to seeing you on the road.

Bye now.

Green Lantern Corps Movie: Hal Jordan and John Stewart Explained! Aquaman Trailer Reactions - Duration: 5:20.

so finally we get some news regarding the Green Lantern Corps movie it was

officially revealed on Jeff Jones's new production company's website at the

forum will feature Hal Jordan and Jon Stewart's let's end the video I'm also

going to be discussing the new Aquaman trailer so it's reported that Geoff

Johns has left DC entertainment as an executive and a started his own

production company that will be producing the Green Lantern Corps Jones

in addition to producing will also be writing the script of course Johns wrote

my second favorite DC movie Wonder Woman

my favorite is Man of Steel a week Sanna fall unsure of yourself and is currently

writing one woman to his production company will also be producing the TV

show the flash fire chief Craig Valenti's production company as well as

Titans and the spin-off Doom Patrol but today I want to talk about what

incredible news it is that Jeff Jones will be writing and producing the Green

Lantern Corps movie and that both Hal Jordan and Jon Stewart will be featured

in the movies Hal Jordan is of course the first Green Lantern chosen from

Earth he was trained by the greatest Green Lantern at the time Sinestro

the Green Lantern ring chose Hal Jordan when Evans sir died

however Jon Stewart's origins story is a little bit different when Jon Stewart

was first introduced in the comics he was actually an architect

he'd been watched by the guardians of the universe for quite some time and

they'd been hoping to recruit him to the Green Lantern Corps and to test him

they're crazily sent a Manhunter for him two fights should prevail them the fight

and he earned his Green Lantern ring but his backstory was retconned into the

version that we now know today as next u.s. Marine from Detroit Michigan so Jon

Stewart is pretty much the polar opposite in many ways of Hal Jordan Hal

Jordan of course being a lot more happy-go-lucky and arrogant after Hal

Jordan becomes a Green Lantern his mentor Sinestro subjugates his home

planet of Cora Garr through fear he does have an officious way and he basically

becomes a fascist dictator Hal along with the rest of the Corps defeats

Sinestro and so begins one of the most epic storylines in DC Comics history in

my opinion the Sinestro Corps war which is actually a lot easier to read than it

is to say the National Cold War Sinestro Corps war Sinestro Corps war it

introduces the Sinestro Corps which utilizes the yellow energy of the

emotional electromagnetic spectrum the emotional electromagnetic spectrum is

the energy that is fueled by the emotions of all sentient beings in the

universe red is for age oranges avarice or greed

yellow fear Green is willpower and is the center of

the spectrum blue is hope and the most powerful lights in the spectrum but is

also the hardest to understand and the hardest wheeled indigo lights compassion

violets black the color of death and the

complete lack of emotion in life and of course the white light of life is where

the emotional spectrum began and all of this green lanten universe law was

introduced by none other than geoff johns it was after Jones breathed new

life into the flash comic that he sets his sights on reinvigorating Green

Lantern starting with green Lance and rebirth in 2004 then he wrote Green

Lantern Corps recharged Green Lantern vol 4 from issue 1 267 spanning six

years from 2005 to 2011 all culminating in the blackest night storyline and

there is no other writer who has created more green lands and law than Geoff

Johns has so the very man who wrote the source material is going to be the one

writing the script for the movie now this doesn't always work out but I think

in Jeff Jones's case it will and I think that if they base this first Green

Lantern core movie on the Green Lantern Corps battling Sinestro who by the way

also got cyborg superman and mongol Talpa martin the story that would be a

great way to go and to be honest if Geoff Johns can produce a movie half as

good as the comics which he wrote I think we're in for a treat and also

think the fact that the movies gonna have Hal Jordan and Jon Stewart

probably means that this movie is going to be in part an origin story for Jon

Stewart and the fact that the personality difference between Hal

Jordan and Jon Stewart is so vast they're basically polar opposites it's

going to be a very entertaining movie personally I'm also going to be waiting

to see who they announce as a director as much as John's played a big part in

the success of Wonder Woman it was really down to the direction of paddy

Jenkins which made all the difference and talk about fantastic directors in

the DC Universe parently Warner Brothers is gonna be releasing an Aquaman teaser

trailer very soon blacks adrenaline spiking because he's not alright and the

trailer was already screen deaths in a Europe which is a film Expo some of the

reactions have found their way online share some of the reactions not only

traditional action and dizzying special effects but also good humor and usually

brights and that is not so common with films from DC or sounds like a good sign

Jason Momoa also recently said and we're gonna find

out why he wasn't loved in Atlantis and why he wasn't

on the surface now he has something that's beautiful that can help the world

and it's something bringing it out of you even though you don't think you have

it so what storyline would you like to see

adapted in the Green Lantern Corps movie and which characters would you like to

see hope you enjoyed this video if you did please like it and then share it and

don't forget to subscribe to the channel and enable notifications so that you

don't miss out on any clock immediate content thanks a lot for watching cheers

for now

Jared And Ivanka Made $82 Million Last Year While Pretending To Be White House Employees - Duration: 4:46.

Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, the son-in-law and daughter of the President of the United

States respectively, said that going to work in the White House was a big sacrifice.

Right?

They're giving up millions upon millions of dollars in profits.

They were sacrificing their own companies to go work for Donald Trump as unpaid advisors.

They were not going to take a dime of taxpayer money, which, hey that's great.

You don't need the money.

Right?

Well, as it turns out, in the first year and a half of Donald Trump being President of

the United States, these two combined, Jared and Ivanka, pulled in $82 million according

to financial disclosure reports.

$82 million for being unpaid advisors through your businesses that you are still both very

much involved in.

Now here's the thing.

Back when Jimmy Carter was elected president, the man owned a peanut farm, peanut farm that

made a little bit of money.

Republicans made him sell it so that he couldn't somehow use the office of the presidency to

profit off his peanut farm.

Jared and Ivanka are both very much involved in their current businesses while also serving

within the White House.

Ivanka Trump has won, at least, what?

13 new trademarks from China that she is now profiting from.

Jared Kushner got massive financial deals from several different people after meeting

with them in the White House.

They're using their positions of power within the Trump administration and Trump family

to enrich themselves.

Yes, this is illegal.

But no, nobody's going to do a damn thing about it.

Why?

Because nobody ever does a thing about anything illegal that has happened during this administration.

And I'm not talking about the collusion, all that crap.

I'm talking about the average, everyday crimes that this administration seems to be committing.

Scott Pruitt has broken the law at least four separate times in the last month, at least

that's when they were revealed.

Four times, illegal activity, one month, nothing, nothing.

Jared and Ivanka, very clear legal violations here, nothing.

Donald Trump, emoluments clause, nothing.

There is a lawsuit on that.

God only knows where it's going to go.

But seriously, folks, every single week we are hearing a new story about somebody in

this administration using their office to enrich themselves, or bolster their connections,

or abuse the power of their office, and nothing.

Here are just a few of the areas where Jared and Ivanka were making millions of dollars

in the last 18 months here.

$5 million from Jared Kushner properties in Jersey, $3.9 million for Ivanka from her stake

in the Trump International Hotel in DC, where diplomats stay and people like that.

They don't have to, but they do because they want to make Donald Trump happy, and so they

all get a profit from that.

$5 million for Ivanka from her clothing and accessories lines, which no doubt have seen

a boost ever since she became, whatever it is, the unpaid advisor.

I think she was actually going to be First Lady at one point.

And $2 million to Ivanka from some kind of weird payroll corporation that Donald Trump,

the Trump organization, whatever, owns because she was listed as a consultant for the last

year.

So right here, and those are just a handful, it goes up to $82 million.

We know that Ivanka Trump was at least listed as a consultant while she was also a White

House advisor, and that's not how things work.

How much more is it going to take?

How much more criminal activity with the evidence is it going to take for someone in this government

to stand up and say, "I demand your resignation right now.

Not later, now"?

Because that's the point we're at, if we let this behavior go, if we continue to normalize

it, or even just act like it's not happening, it's going to get so much worse.

And yeah, we've had Democrats calling for investigations, but at this point we don't

even necessarily need them.

We need this corrupt jackasses in the federal government to step down immediately before

they continue or further destroy these institutions that were once seen as respectable positions

of power and influence here in the United States.

Today, they're nothing more than just some positions where Trump and his closest allies

can make a quick buck by bolstering their own business and screwing over everybody else.

Dumbo Official Trailer EASTER EGGS, Breakdown & Things You Missed - Duration: 5:45.

The Dumbo live-action trailer just dropped with a gorgeous look at Ninth Wonder of the

Universe, the world's only flying elephant.

Yippee-ki-yay, movie lovers, it's Jan here and today I'm breaking down the first teaser

trailer for Dumbo which is jam-packed with easter eggs and other intriguing details you

might have missed.

The trailer kicks off with a cover of Baby Mine, the beautiful and iconic song that Dumbo's

mother sang to him while she was locked up in solitary confinement.

The song received an Oscar nomination for best original song in 1942 and for the live-action

version it's sung by Norwegian singer-songwriter Aurora.

The song is part of a heart-breaking moment from the original movie where Dumbo's mother

cradles the baby elephant in her trunk as she sings the lullaby.

At the time, Mrs Jumbo had been locked away after getting angry when her son was tormented

by some boys.

She was branded a Mad Elephant and there's a nod to that in the "Mad Elephant" sign you

can see behind Dumbo in this image.

And, just before that, it even looks like another elephant was being carted away in

a cage, perhaps his mother?

In the original, Dumbo's mother is still with him at the end, so the trailer for the live-action

movie could be teasing something darker possibly, akin to Tim Burton's previous movies.

Now, in the original film, on the advice of the crows, Timothy Q. Mouse employs a psychological

trick with a pretend "magic feather" to give Dumbo the confidence that he can fly.

The new movie tips its hat to that moment when new character Milly holds the feather

up to Dumbo telling him to show others what he can do.

Indeed, Milly's words to the young elephant echo Timothy Q Mouse's line when Dumbo flies

for the first time at the circus.

"Let's show 'em, Dumbo."

"Here Dumbo.

Show 'em."

By the way, the new film isn't going to be a direct recreation of the original movie.

In fact, at CinemaCon, Disney revealed that while "the original ends with the elephant

flying", Tim Burton's film actually "[takes] that as a jumping off point for Dumbo's newest

story" which will be an expanded version of what we're expecting.

Which means that the feather in this scene here is probably more of a reminder to Dumbo

of what he can do already, rather than a mental trick to get him to consciously fly for the

first time in front of an audience.

I think Milly is going to play a key role in the new movie – in fact, notice the actual

key she's wearing as a necklace.

And she seems to be replacing the part of Timothy Q. Mouse as Dumbo's best friend and

confidante.

She's played by Nico Parker, the daughter of actress Thandie Newton and filmmaker Ol

Parker.

I love this image of a pink elephant surrounded by bubbles, which is a lovely call-back to

the scene in Disney's classic animation where Dumbo and Timothy Q Mouse accidentally got

drunk on champagne and started hallucinating pink and multi-coloured elephants!

Also, notice, as he's about to be raised up on this platform here, that Dumbo is wearing

a triangular-shaped headpiece with a D on it, which very much reminds me of the scene

in the animated movie where Dumbo carries a flag adorned with the letter D as he's about

to launch himself into the air to form the top of an elephant pyramid.

Speaking of pyramids, the choreography and geometric shapes in this scene here pay homage

to the extravagant musical numbers staged by famed director and musical choreographer

Busby Berkeley, which is actually 100% perfect for Tim Burton's Dumbo because, as well as

films such as 42nd Street, Busby Berkeley also choreographed the musical Billy Rose's

Jumbo, which just happens to be another movie about a circus featuring an elephant named

Jumbo, and, of course, Jumbo Jr was Dumbo's real name in the original animation.

It looks like Burton is going to wow us with plenty of fantastic visuals of Dreamland and

I'm curious whether that "Wonders of Science" attraction might be a sly reference to the

former Wonders of Life pavilion at Epcot, Walt Disney World.

Something it doesn't look like we'll see adapted from the animation are the storks which deliver

the baby circus animals including Dumbo himself.

There's likely a nod to this via the flock of birds which fly past the elephant's enclosure,

which seems like a bit of a message to the audience that we shouldn't expect exactly

the same movie as the original because no, these aren't storks.

Another thing I really don't think we'll be seeing in this new film are the animated crow

characters as they've been heavily criticised as racist stereotypes of African Americans.

They do, of course, sing the famous "When I See An Elephant Fly" song and I wonder if

we'll get an updated version of that in this movie.

As I mentioned before, the new movie is a sort of continuation or expansion of the original

film from 1941, by the end of which Dumbo was famous, with aircraft even being made

in his likeness during World War Two.

In terms of the timeline of the live-action film, that's set just after the Second World

War.

Notice that Colin Farrell's character Holt, who's a veteran, is missing an arm, presumably

an injury from the war; and he and his two children discover Dumbo for the first time

hiding underneath a pile of straw.

At Disney's CinemaCon presentation, it was revealed that Danny DeVito runs a travelling

circus that's struggling to keep going.

DeVito's character is called Max Medici and he's trying to use Dumbo's fame as an "amazing

flying elephant" to bring people to the circus.

However, Medici also has to reprimand his employees for their mistreatment of Dumbo

and it seems this might be why Dumbo's hiding away here.

I think the scene where Holt and his kids discover Dumbo might also be a little tribute

to when Mrs Jumbo unwrapped her new delivery from the storks in the animated feature and

revealed the adorable calf for the first time.

And talking of Dumbo and his mother, I also liked how the weather vane at the beginning

of the trailer has a young elephant holding onto the tail of an older elephant, just like

we saw Dumbo do with his mother many times in the original film.

Now, how excited are you for the new Dumbo movie?

And what other cool details or easter eggs did you spot in the trailer?

Let's keep the conversation going in the comments below!

Customizing SFM's Theme - Duration: 10:33.

Hello everyone, in this video, I would like to show you multiple ways to customize the

looks and feel of the Source Filmmaker.

While there isn't much wrong with SFM's regular interface, some changes can give your

SFM its own personalized and customized look, and may even allow you to work more efficiently.

Be aware that you'll be editing some configuration files for some of these customizations.

To be on the safe side, create a backup of every file you're going to edit!

Otherwise, you may need to validate game files if you messed something up, and I don't

want to be responsible for any data lost!

Either way, let's get started.

The easiest way of changing the entire user

interface of SFM is by using a simple launch parameter.

While it doesn't allow for much variety, it is pretty easy to use.

SFM uses something called QT for its main user-interface.

Without any setup, it is designed to look just like your operating system's windows,

but SFM uses a different style for it by default.

You can, however, change this behavior and set the theme to any other supported by QT

using the -style launch parameter.

Simply add it like other launch parameters.

If launched over Steam, simply right-click SFM in the library, go to Properties, Set

launch options… and add -style followed by the name of the style.

You'll obviously have to restart SFM to see these changes.

Here's a comparison of the different values that you can enter for -style, as provided

by QT.

In SFM, it'll look more like this, at least when using Windows 7's default theme.

The styles marked with red simply crashed SFM on startup.

I assume they could work if the right DLL files are in SFM's folder, but to put it

shortly, they don't work out-of-the-box.

Overall, they look pretty similar, and not too pretty compared to SFM's default.

The main issue is how most things use images, which is why buttons look like they have another

button inside of them.

We will be fixing this later on.

Quickly going over all styles and their differences, we got

WindowsXP: buttons, checkboxes and dropdowns are styled accordingly.

They don't use the visuals of XP if you're on Windows 7, though.

The menus look pretty simple as well.

Vista is pretty similar.

The menus look a whole lot better, and so do the dropdowns.

Motif… is quite something.

Pretty thick borders around everything, and menus feel completely different.

CDE is similar, except the borders are way thinner.

Oh, and the menu items have a checkmark in them!

Plastique is my personal favorite.

Modern look on all user elements.

And the menus are also fine here.

Again, QT is supposed to mimic your operating system's looks, even when selecting different

styles.

Changing operating system or your theme will probably give you different results from what

I showed you.

For example, compare Plastique on default Windows 7 to a high contrast theme, gray high

contrast, or a custom style.

Much better!

You can't really do much against this limitation, but later on, I'll show some alternatives

to this parameter that don't depend on your system.

Those could even allow for bright themes or ones with actual color.

SFM itself includes some ways of customizing,

but most are hidden away in form of console commands.

Here's a list of most of them.

mat_fullbright is usually used to disable the lighting of a map, but if you set it to 2,

you actually can see only the lighting of the map.

An interesting side-effect is that the movement and rotation controls also turn white because

of this command.

It's more a bug than a feature, but it's still interesting to note.

The sfm_bone_display commands are all related to how bones show up in SFM.

If you set sfm_bone_display_solid to 0, the bones only show the outlines.

You can change the sfm_bone_display_radius to change how big the bones should display.

You can change the colors used to display the bones in SFM.

Here's a handy table to see which color has what name.

Interestingly enough, if you change the highlight color, the blue text also changes, and if

you change the selection alpha value - which is the last number for transparency - you

can see that the movement controls also start to get affected.

sfm_drawpuppetbones 1 shows bones similar to HLMV (Half-Life Model Viewer).

Might be useful to some.

sfm_drawpuppetwireframe 1 shows a wireframe on top of all animation sets.

You can also hide the lines and dots that show if an animation set that you have selected

has motion saved.

May be helpful if you need to animate smaller objects precisely.

You can edit basically all icons and images used in SFM.

The platform\tools\images folder contains the majority of relevant files.

You'll have to restart SFM to see any changes.

The cursors are found in the cursors sub-folder and are plain PNG files - though not all of

them are used.

In the sfm subfolder, you can find all buttons and animation set icons.

A bunch of unused stuff is in here, as well.

valve_base and valve_style are used for other controls in SFM, like checkboxes and tabs.

Since you probably don't want to work through all files yourself, I've created an icon

pack which removes the backgrounds of all buttons, so that they look nicer on other

QT styles.

Check the description for the download.

The loading screen and text are found in usermod\materials\console but requires creating Valve Texture Files.

You can use free software such as VTFedit to convert PNG files to VTF.

All VTF files starting with background should be the same.

Now we're getting into the more complicated territory.

If you want to change how the particle editor or model browser looks like, you need to edit

the VGUI scheme files.

They're scattered all over the place - but you'll only need to edit three of them:

Inside platform/resource you can find boxrocket.res and SourceScheme.res

And inside tf/resource you can find ClientScheme.res These files can be opened in any regular text

editor, and are used to tell VGUI what colors the different elements should use and which

fonts to use.

I didn't experiment much with it, but the easiest way I discovered to find out how to

edit a certain color is by taking a screenshot of it and searching any colors with a similar

RGB value as that of your screenshot.

There's some tools to debug VGUI inside SFM, but I'd ignore them.

The three files I mentioned all contain different parts of VGUI's core.

At the top, you mostly have a list of colors, followed by how they're used for different

elements of the interface.

At the bottom, you can find fonts, as well.

The particle editor is a bit special in that its layout isn't part of any scheme file.

It's all hardcoded, and can only be changed in limited ways.

In order to edit the background of the particle editor, you have to do more than just edit

a color value.

Go ahead and edit the platform\materials\vgui\tools\ifm\ifm_background.vtf.

That folder also includes most icons used in the VGUI version of SFM's user interface.

You can still enable it, but I wouldn't really recommend it, as it doesn't add much

and is just terrible to use.

You can change some strings displayed in SFM by editing them directly in the binary data.

Go to bin/tools and create a backup of ifm.dll, since you may break stuff.

Open the original ifm.dll with a hex editor - you can't use a text editor!

As long as the strings are the same length before and afterwards, there is no problem

changing these to whatever you want.

Simply find whichever you want to edit, and think of a clever way to keep them the same length.

I like to add spaces to the end, that rarely breaks anything.

Remember the -style command?

We can go further than that, if we wanted to.

QT allows for so-called QSS files (QT Stylesheet), which basically are the same as VGUI's scheme files,

just for QT.

I did not mess much with them, since they seem scary, but you can go ahead and take

a look yourself!

SFM does not use a QSS file by default, so loading one of the files included by default

will change SFM's look a bit.

The default files are found in platform/tools/stylesheets.

We'll need to use this folder for custom themes, as well.

There are multiple ways to load QSS files.

Launching SFM with -qtstylesheet will load propertyeditor.qss, sfm.qss and valve_base.qss.

The console command sfm_reloadstylesheet does the same, except the UI looks slightly different.

This is preferred over the launch parameter in most cases.

sfm_smallstylesheet loads the small.qss file and seems to unload the other files' changes.

sfm_removestylesheet removes all qss styling, which leaves you with a kind of broken SFM

- it's better to restart than to use this command.

Anything that isn't styled by your QSS file will be derived from the QT style itself.

So using -style in combination is a possibility.

Since you can't exactly load custom QSS files, the easiest way is by editing the contents

of the small.qss file.

If you don't want to create your own, you can find some sample files on the internet.

Or alternatively use the ones included, if they appeal to you.

Here are some that I found online, just to show how much could be done with these files

if you have enough spare time to create one.

Obviously, none of these themes are made for SFM, so most things are left unthemed.

Additionally, we would need to replace more images to get a full custom theme.

But it's definitely possible with this system!

Beyond all that, SFM's user interface can even be modified in some ways.

By creating scripts in Python, we can add new windows to SFM that can be docked and

interacted with.

Here's a basic one I made, which allows you to quickly reload a material, change the

skybox or toggle fog and lighting.

Check the description for download and installation instructions.

Another one I made for fun allows you to sync a video up with the timeline, so it's easier

to recreate an animation in SFM.

But since you have to write quite a bit of code, it's not really anything you can spontaneously

use, unlike the rest of these methods.

And that's about every way I know how you can modify SFM's look and feel.

Let me know if you found this video helpful or interesting, and I'd love to see some

of your SFM customizations!

Have a good day!

TERRIFYING NEWS OUT OF VENEZUELA… This Is NOT GOOD!!! - Duration: 3:16.

Thirty years after its eradication in the now socialist dystopia of Venezuela, polio

is making a comeback.

The news comes as Venezuela experiences political and economic turmoil, resulting in a humanitarian

and health care crisis.

With an estimated population of 31.3 million, Venezuela's totalitarian socialist policies

are making it difficult for people to protect themselves against viral and bacterial infections;

that includes the polio virus.

Access to clean water and proper hygiene are ways to reduce the chances of getting polio,

but Venezuelans are suffering abject poverty thanks to authoritarians who want all the

power and money making it difficult for the poor to get either.

A child has recently been diagnosed with the virus in Venezuela.

The infectious viral disease has been eradicated since 1989, according to the Pan American

Health Organization, a regional apparatus of the World Health Organization.

The Western Hemisphere has been certified polio-free since 1994.

But socialist policies are bringing back diseases.

Poliomyelitis, commonly known as polio, is a highly infectious viral disease that invades

the brain and spinal cord and causes permanent paralysis in a small proportion of patients,

according to the World Health Organization.

There is no cure for the virus and it can be deadly.

Polio, which mainly affects young children, spreads from person to person and can also

be transmitted through contaminated food and water.

According to CNN, the Venezuelan child with polio is 2 years and 10 months old.

The toddler first experienced paralysis on April 29, according to the PAHO statement.

As of May 31, the child continued to experience crippling symptoms.

Part of an indigenous community in Venezuela's northeastern state of Delta Amacuro, the child

had not been vaccinated against polio, the statement noted.

Delta Amacuro is among Venezuela's poorest states and communication is generally difficult,

if not impossible in the area.

Most of the population, and especially the Warao indigenous group, travel by boat along

the river to reach the closest medical center, which can be hours away.

But socialism has destroyed the healthcare industry in Venezuela and coupled with rampant

hyperinflation, it's become increasingly difficult for anyone in under the thumb of

the authoritarian rulers to get access to care.

Most Venezuelans rely on donations from charities and non-governmental organizations, or on

the illegal, but free market because licensed pharmacies don't have medicines to sell.

Since becoming a socialist dystopia, Venezuela has seen a reemergence or a resurgence of

other infectious diseases as well, including diphtheria, tuberculosis, measles, and malaria.

Dr. Jose Manuel Olivares, a radiologist and a National Assembly congressman who heads

the Committee on Social Development, told CNN it is "unacceptable" that polio is

making a comeback after Venezuela has controlled the disease for nearly 30 years.
