• Some Uber drivers see some pretty messed-up stuff.

Some of them DO some pretty messed-up stuff.

But from drug deals to murder getaways, here are 10 crazy stories from – or ABOUT – Uber

drivers.

10 – Murder Escape • An Uber driver who was on his way home

at 3am decided to leave his app on just in case he got a call on his way out.

• He did.

He got called out to a bar, where he found out there had just been a fatal shooting.

Two people got into the car, and said they were waiting for their friend – who was

hiding in the bushes.

• Just then, some guy in a biker gang came out of the bar and shot at the ground.

In response, the friend in the bushes dashed for the car, dove into the back seat, and

the driver peeled out.

9 – Gang Mixup • When a guy was having a hard time finding

his pickup, he just started driving slowly around the neighborhood to find it.

• That stopped quickly as soon as he was approached by two men, one of which pointed

a pistol at him and asked what he was doing.

• Somehow, the driver kept his cool and explained he was an Uber driver looking for

his passenger.

• Immediately, the guy lowered his gun, and politely told the driver exactly who he

was looking for and where he was.

The driver decided to drop the fare and leave after that.

8 – The Coke Deal • When a fare starts with, "I just want

you to know you'll be getting a 5-star rating and a generous tip," it might be okay to

get slightly suspicious.

• The driver wasn't picking up the person who ordered the ride, but their "friend."

A friend who couldn't remember their friend's name.

• Long story short, the driver ended up facilitating a deal for about 800 dollars

in cocaine in his back seat.

After telling the rider that wasn't cool, the rider apologized and bought the driver

some free McDonald's.

• Also, the "generous tip" was for 5 dollars.

7 – The Hookup • One driver witnessed love blossom right

in his own back seat, when he picked up a pair of friends.

• The friends were slightly drunk, and arrow-straight when they got into the car.

• By the end of the ride, they'd realized that they were gay – or at least gay for

each other.

• The women definitely got handsy with each other, but the driver wasn't sure exactly

how far they went.

6 – A Long Night • One driver had to pick up a rider who

was sort of skinny and unkempt, who smelled bad.

• And that's not really anything unusual.

Then he fell asleep in the backseat.

Again, pretty normal.

• But then the guy's lips started turning blue, and he wouldn't wake up.

The driver took the guy to the hospital, where he learned the guy had suffered a heroin overdose.

5 – Stalker • One young woman decided it would be no

big deal to jump into the front seat of her Uber driver's car.

• And it probably wouldn't have been, except that the driver started getting creepy and

reaching over to touch the girl's leg and hair.

• She reported the driver, and a few days later, the driver showed up at her house,

saying he was "looking for his friend."

• This story ends with a restraining order.

4 – The Setup • One driver ended up the butt of a joke

when two attractive women got into his backseat, and asked about why a condom was in his back

seat.

• It turned out a previous passenger had left the condom there... and it was miniature-size.

• The girls laughed, took a picture, and put it on Snapchat.

3 – Facebook Live • It was about 2 in the morning when an

Uber driver was called to pick up a very drunk couple.

• The guy was already on Facebook Live when they got in the car, and the girl asked him

to put on some music.

• After a few minutes, the backseat got quiet.

The driver glanced back and saw that the girl had taken her top off and started giving the

guy a blowjob... and the guy was STILL streaming to Facebook Live.

• When they got to the destination, the guy slipped the driver a 50 dollar bill, thanked

him for "the best ride of my life," and left a 5-star review that simply said, "Cool

guy!"

2 – The Cheater • A driver picked up a couple in the middle

of the day Saturday, who looked like they'd been pretty much partying since the night

before.

• From their conversation in the car, it was quite clear that the guy had a girlfriend

– and it wasn't the girl he was with in the car.

They had slept together the night before.

• Their destination was the girlfriend's house.

• Apparently, the guy thought it was a good idea to come clean with his girlfriend about

sleeping with another woman – by BRINGING THE WOMAN WITH HIM.

• The driver never saw that passenger again.

So you can write your own ending to that story.

1 – The Getaway • A couple guys asked to be driven to a

bar, but they smelled like rotting meat.

• Still, the driver put up with it, drove them close to where they asked to go, and

then the passengers got out and RAN.

• Suspicious, the driver checked the back seat, where he saw bloodstains.

He called the police, and they told him a woman had been murdered earlier.

Two men matching the description of his passengers were suspected.

• After the driver told the police what he knew, the men were caught within a matter

of hours.

But that doesn't change the fact that they used an Uber as their getaway vehicle.

General-level inter-Korean military talks to be held at Panmunjom - Duration: 1:31.

General-level inter-Korean military talks will be held at the border-village of Panmunjom

in a few hours from now.

The talks will start at 10 a.m. Korea time,...

For more, we connect live to our Park Ji-won,... who's standing by at Seoul's Office for Inter-Korean

Dialogue.

Ji-won.

Good morning, Mark.

Today's inter-Korean general-level military talks are the first of their kind in more

than ten years,... the last time was in 2007.

South and North Korea are sending a five-member delegation each.

They are expected to discuss ways to ease tensions on the border,... and ways to implement

the Panmunjom Declaration,... which two Koreas signed at the end of April after their historic

summit.

South Korea's Unification Minister will talk to the South Korean delegation here,... the

Office for the Inter-Korean Dialogue in Seoul,... and the minister will send them off to the

border village of Panmunjom soon.

The talks will start in roughly three hours,.. and the first briefing will be held a couple

of hours later at noon, Korea time.

It's expected that the talks will continue until five pm,... and at six,... they are

slated to announce a joint agreement.

Currently, the talks are set for one day only,... but more of these inter-Korean military talks

on a variety of issues are expected to be held.

Easy Pickled Jalapenos ~ Refrigerator Pickles ~ No Canning ~ Noreen's Kitchen - Duration: 7:10.

Hi everyone, welcome back to my kitchen we're going to be making some pickled jalapenos refrigerator style

These are super easy and they're great

If you really don't need to make two dozen jars of pickled jalapenos and have them set in your pantry for years and years

These are gonna be crisp delicious. This is gonna last me this summer. Let's go see how these all come together

We're gonna go ahead and make some

quick refrigerator pickled jalapeno slices

I'm gonna be using these in an upcoming recipe and

I just felt like why not make a video because you guys if you are not into canning and you

Love pickles. You need to understand how easy it is to make pickles without having the whole canning process

I've been canning for years and years, but honestly, I

Don't need to can

four dozen jars of

jalapenos

so making a couple of quarts is the perfect answer for me and I can keep them in my fridge and once you

Refrigerator pickle these they're gonna be in a vinegar brine and they're going to stay fresh and delicious for months

So these will get me through the summer and it will just be the perfect answer

So what I have here, I have 16 very large jalapeno peppers. I have prepared two

Quart jars, they're in the microwave. I sterilized them really quick and I have three cups each of

white vinegar

Water a half a cup of sugar and two tablespoons of kosher salt that's as easy as this gets

I'm gonna go grab my jars and stuff them and we're going to bring our brine to a boil

But this is a little bit different from the when we did some of our other

refrigerator pickles where we just poured the brine over because this time

We're going to go ahead and make our brine and I've made a little extra brine

for this very reason

so let's mix our brine up there goes our vinegar and our water our

sugar and our salt

I'm gonna go ahead and put this on the stove and bring it to a boil. Okay switch pots

Okay could use my induction burner here

The stainless steel pot doesn't work on this

what I'm gonna do now that this has come to a simmer we're going to put our

jalapenos

Right in this brine

This is why it's a little bit different from the other way where we just poured the vinegar

Over what we had stuffed into the jars, I want to bring this back up to a boil and then I'm gonna turn it off

And we're gonna let this steep for about 10 to 15 minutes. Just like this. It's gonna help to open up

And soften the jalapeno is just a little but they're still gonna remain crisp

So once this comes to a boil, we're gonna turn it off

Let it sit for 15 minutes and then I'll be back and we'll decamp these up into a couple of jars our jalapenos sat for

15 minutes need to be 1015. It's up to you. Whatever works for you. I'm just gonna give this a little

Encouragement into the jar. We'll see if I can fit all these in one jar. If not then so be it

We'll have a little extra on the side

I never know how

Full the jars are gonna be so you always want to prepare more jars than you think you need

And I think I'm gonna go ahead and get a smaller jar

Looks like this is gonna be just about perfect a

pint in a quart is what I'm getting today and

You'll notice that I started off by

putting the

Sliced jalapenos in the jars and then we're gonna top it off with the vinegar. It was just really important to let these

kind of steep in that vinegar mixture before

Canning them up only because you want them to be a little bit softer, and this is also going to prevent floating

you don't want the

You don't want any floating and don't worry too much about headspace with these because we're not going to process them

So that's not really going to be a huge issue

so now what I'm gonna do is get a ladle and we're gonna top these off with

The bride and what you want to make sure is that whatever you have in the jar is covered with brine just like that

it's a little bit too full but

Yep

And if you have extra brian lift over

You can dump it or keep it

If you have extra space in your fridge

Then you can keep this for the next time that you make up more pickled jalapenos. This isn't gonna last forever though

So keep that in mind, there we go

Now I'm just gonna go ahead and give this a quick wipe

Only to clean it up don't want any errant seeds in between that

Lid and the jar and you see this jar is a little chipped, but because we're doing this refrigerator style

I'm not even gonna worry about it. There's our pickled jalapeno

It's ready to go in the fridge you want these to cure at least three days before using them?

Just so that they get nice and pickled and absorb that brine and they're gonna give you the flavor that you desire

These are gonna be great in the recipe that I have coming up for them. I can't wait to share it

It's gonna be a surprise and I know you're gonna love it. I

Preferred that you let these cool down before you put them in the refrigerator. This is also going to help absorption

it's going to help with the transfer of the vinegar into the vegetable and

It's going to speed up the pickling process a little bit. They're gonna be fine

Just let them cool down until you can comfortably handle them and then you can pop them in your fridge

like before you go to bed and

It'll be just fine

So that's easy. That's how easy it is to make some pickled jalapenos refrigerator style

NEXGADGET Aluminum Detachable 2-In-1 Wireless Qi Charger Review - Duration: 2:34.

Hey it's Bey, and today I'm going to be reviewing the NEXGADGET Aluminum Detachable 2-in-1 Wireless

Qi Charger.

This is a pretty unique wireless charger because of its versatility.

You can use your phone in portrait, landscape, or you don't even have to use the stand with

this wireless charger at all.

I'll put a link in the description to Amazon if you're interested in purchasing this wireless

charger.

As you can tell, this wireless charger does require some assembly, but it's very simple.

Just screw in a couple screws and that's it.

A plus to this is that it becomes more compact when you want to transport this wireless charger.

It has a good weight to it and it feels very high quality.

On the bottom, there is a plastic film that you can remove and that will reveal a rubber

pad that's really grippy.

I prefer to leave the plastic film on though because I feel that the rubber pad can get

dirty very easily.

The main charger is actually this disc which is really tiny.

You can detach it from the stand which is really cool because you now have a small wireless

charger that can fit in the palm of your hand.

You can store the screw on the stand so that you don't lose it which is a nice touch.

On the wireless charging pad, you have a rubber ring on the bottom.

On the side, you have a Micro-USB input and a couple of indicator lights.

The charger is adjustable so that you can use your phone in portrait and in landscape

mode when you're using the stand.

To adjust it, just loosen the screw on the back and adjust it up and down, and then tighten

the screw to lock it into place.

This wireless charger supports phones that has Qi Wireless Charging.

However, the down side that this charger has is that it only charges your phone at 5 volts.

If you have a phone that supports fast Qi wireless charging like the Note 8, it won't

be charging your phone as fast because of the 5 volt output.

I don't really mind though because your phone can heat up when fast charging with a wireless

charger, especially with a case, and that can be bad for your phone and its battery.

That's why I turn fast charging off even when charging my phone with a cable.

Overall, the NEXGADGET 2-In-1 Wireless Qi Charger is a great charger for the price.

You can use your phone in portrait and landscape mode when it's a stand, but you can also

just use the wireless charging pad by itself if you want something that's more compact.

This is a very high quality charger, and even though it doesn't have quick qi charging,

it's still a great value wireless charger in my opinion.
