Hunting Pennies - Customer Rolls vs Machine Rolls, Round 2 - Duration: 9:32.

all right guys it's round two of the customer wrapped rolls in a box versus the

machine wrapped rolls in a box

hey everyone its Rob with Rob finds treasure and if you watched my last video on the

customer verse machine wrapped it was almost a toss-up I'll have to check the

poll after a few views and we'll see which box you think won I personally

think the customer wrapped rolls were defeated by the machine wrapped because we

got that 1913 penny anytime you can find a hundred-year-old penny or even the

early teens wheaty you got to go with that box but outside

of that we're curious to see what's in these two boxes so let's go ahead and

get this battle started and we're gonna start off with the custom wrapped ones

first first roll in and right off the bat we get a Canadian 1982 we're on roll twelve

guys and I think I see a dime in this roll that's weird

another dime 1999 no Wheaties yet and let me tell you we don't have much

copper I've gotten three or four rolls with no copper in it so we might have a

batch of some customer wrapped rolls that were searched but we're gonna keep

looking and we'll see what we find roll 14 first wheat cent of the box and

pretty toasty on the back pretty toasty on the front looks like it's a 55 d

though roll 24 guys laid them out and the second coin down is a wheat cent

1952 D we'll take it two Wheaties so far roll 30 got a wheat cent right behind a

few coins here let's take a look 53 filly it's actually our second oldest of

the box for the 52 D of 53 and a 55 D all right customer wrapped box is down and

I'm gonna go out on a limb said that the Machine box is gonna crush it we only

got a little over two pounds of copper a dime we got 14 of the 09s one Canadian

no 59s three wheat cents and really just a 52 of 53 and a 55 so nothing old and

we did find 1 69 S to look at which I always enjoy but

not the DDO - all right guys let's get onto the machine wrapped predicting now

they're gonna wrap it up that's a good sign first roll right towards the back

almost an ender three coins off we've got a wheat cent 1956 D on the board

we're on a roll four guys and I grabbed this 1964 cent it's not the SMS but let

me put it under the microscope and see what you guys think about it now there's

35 known varieties of double die reverses but I wanted you to focus

mostly on the s in states the S in States looks pretty convincing as a

double die and it's got a pretty strong second strike in my opinion anyway

wanting to show you that we're going to pull it aside for now please give me

your thoughts roll number six found our second wheat cent here 55d we'll take it

roll ten guys we've already got our third wheat cent which ties the customer

wrapped and it's toasty but it's a 52 philadelphia same roll gonna have

another wheat cent number four another 52 but this one's a d alright four Wheaties

roll 17 another wheatie it's a 54 d I think yep 54 d alright guys roll 21 yields a

first for me ever check this out we just found an uncirculated Philadelphia the

United States Mint token or metal basically they make these

and put them in mint sets they sell and yeah I haven't seen one of these in a

long long time and I've never found one coin running the United States Mint

Treasury look that that is really cool keep flipping

out I forgot it's a token it's not made the same way you guys ever seen one of

these bad boys that is something else give me your thoughts on this have you

seen these around I know I've seen them selling once in a while on eBay for 20

to 30 bucks and sometimes they're just not selling for anything but it's still

pretty cool that is an interesting find probably going to be the find of the box

let's keep looking roll number 26 guys I just splayed them

out and I see a wheat cent back here so figured I'd bring you in for it 52d well

guys this box continues to produce pretty well for a variety cents and

we've got roll 32 here finished all the finds wanted to show you something right

here I've got a 1998 Philadelphia Mint and when I put it under the microscope

you can clearly see that's a close am that's what it's supposed to look like

when I pull out this other 1998 and it is trashed of course and to prove that

it's a 98 you can see it's a 98 it's just been trashed but when I flip it

over and look at the space in between the A and M look at this it's a wide am

variety you can also tell by the FG being close to the building and on the

regular coin it's a little bit further

so we have found which is on my list of finds a 1998 wide am second hardest to

find of the wide am varieties besides 99 that's the major one but look at the

condition unbelievable this coin in mint state is about 25 dollars but the

condition is so bad that it almost makes it a common coin I'm gonna pull it out

anyway because it is a wide am but that's a cool find along with this US

Mint Treasury token pretty cool and on top of that we have this United States

of America 1964 double die reverse on the s that you've seen last roll the box

guys it got super cold but we did find another wheat cent here it's another 52

D we'll take it though ended up with seven wheat cents in the box

alright guys we finished that box and it wasn't a bad one two and half pounds of

copper 9 2009's a couple of 59s we did get that seven wheat cents nothing super old

we got a 52 Philadelphia along with a whole bunch of 52 DS a 54 d 55 d and 56

d4 pretty decent cents that we pulled out and a couple of finds of the box

first we got this Treasury token the United States Mint Treasury and it's

a uncirculated Philadelphia P never had one of those we'll take that we also

found what I think is a 1964 double die reverse on that states especially and

you've seen it under the microscope but I'm pretty certain that's at least one

of the varieties and then got one of my bucket list items but it's in terrible

shape my biggest fear whenever you coin roll hunt pennies and you look for

varieties the first thing you want to do is find them and the second thing you

want them to be is in great shape well we found 1998 wide I am but it's in

terrible shape we'll take it though at the end of the day three pretty good

cents I know it's ugly but it's still a 98

wide am and a 64 double die reverse and a US Mint Treasury token

or metal or whatever you want to call it really cool so I think it's

pretty clear to say that this machine wrapped box destroyed the customer

box so at least in this round I think the machine wrapped boxes took it two to

nothing on the customer wrapped doesn't mean it's always going to pan out that

way but two in a row right now machine wrapped is winning two to nothing if you
