How to List Your Business on HouseCleaning360 - Duration: 10:16.

How do you advertise your services on HouseCleaning360.com?

That's a great question and we're going to talk about that today.

Hi there, I'm Angela Brown and this is Ask a House Cleaner.

This is a show where you get to a house cleaning question and I get to help you find an answer.

Now today's show is brought to us by, ta da, HouseCleaning360.com

I know, perfect fit, right?

Speaker 2: Hi Angela.

I've just started a house cleaning service and this is my third business.

I currently offer my staff strategies on how to save for retirement so that they can have

a healthy retirement.

I was wondering, may I advertise or offer retirement strategies for housekeepers that

are interested through the 360 housekeeping service?

If so, let me know how I can go about that.

Thank you.

Angela Brown: Housecleaning360.com is a referral database that we put together to serve the

housecleaning industry.

Now, it's expanded a little bit because it's not just house cleaners but as house cleaners,

and there are a group of about 8200 of us house cleaners that go out into people's homes

every day.

As we're in people's homes they ask us questions like do you wash windows?

We say no we don't, but we know people who do.

You can find them on HouseCleaning360.com and we're sending everybody we know.

It's not just me, it's all these different house cleaners.

We're sending all of our friends and all of our customers to HouseCleaning360.com to find

the services we ourselves do not provide.

Those services are carpet cleaning and professional organizing and junk and hoarding removal and

people that do gutter cleaning and sprinkler and irrigation repair.

There's a whole host of home services where people come to your house.

Now how do you advertise on HouseCleaning360.com?

It's really easy.

If you go to HouseCleaning360.com and you click on the top right hand corner there's

a little button that says add listing.

Now once you click on that a page will open up and it will let you choose one of three

options.

The three options are designed to help you grow your business.

The first option is free, it's 100% free there are no strings attached, there's nothing hidden.

What you can do is you can list your business for free and it's a basic listing.

It's just a basic listing.

It gives you your contact information, the name of your business and you post it on the

website.

If someone searches your area your listing will pop up and it will have a generic picture

on there and it just has your information and people can hire you.

The two other options have more advanced features.

The more advanced features are so advanced that we're going through a training course

right now.

We just started it a couple of days ago so you're not too far behind.

The training course literally walks you through step by step on what every element of the

website does and how it helps you grow your business.

Now the reason we created this program is for this reason, there are a lot of companies

out there and we call them business citations, that's the technical term.

It's a business directory or a business listing where you can pay to be listed.

Now don't get me wrong because you can also pay on HouseCleaning360.com to list your business.

In this particular case it would be retirement services for house cleaners and there's a

whole section on there, called business back end.

That allows us not just people in the home but for you to come to the home.

If you come to people's homes and you service people in their homes.

It even allows for people that are helping small business owners who work from their homes.

There's also logo and web design and there are people that will help you with your search

engine optimization, people that will help you create business videos and things like that.

You can also find those services on HouseCleaning360.com

even though the services are not directly

linked to the house they link to the homeowner who works from their house who has to call

somebody over for help.

If you are a homeowner and you got to call somebody over for help the person you will

call on is HouseCleaning360.com

Now there's another side of HouseCleaning360 that you need to know about.

You never pay for leads.

There are a lot of citation and directory companies out there, you pay them per lead.

Now for example, at one time my business was growing really fast and I needed some extra

help so I decided to hire some people to come help me in my business.

I thought that I would come over as an audition I would have them quote my house and then

I could say hey by the way, you can clean my house because I need a house cleaner right

now but I also have a bunch of other jobs.

Would you like to come work with us as well or would you like to be an independent contractor

and we can funnel these extra jobs to you?

I went to one of the major sites and I listed my house and said I have so many rooms, however

you do on the websites, and here's what I need.

I got over 60 people who called me and said can I come clean your house?

There were six zero.

60 people who called me.

Now the sad part is this, I am one lead.

I am only one house.

I only have one job.

I can only hire one person.

But there were 60 people that called me and then they kept calling and kept calling and

kept calling because they wanted to follow up with me to see if the house cleaner that

I hired worked out.

Okay?

That's great if you have a program and you're going to hire a whole bunch of house cleaners.

But here's what happened, because of the service every one of those 60 people had to pay for

a lead and that made me really mad because as a small business owner you don't need to

be paying for leads if there aren't jobs to go around.

A lead is somebody that you make an appointment with when the person accept the job and you

get paid, that's a valid lead.

That's a lead that converts.

To just be paying randomly for leads and they pass them out to 60 people.

I mean, are you serious?

Then it was really sad because there were a whole bunch of house cleaners that really

weren't very good at what they did and they never even made it for a job interview.

They were so lousy on the telephone I just said thanks I'll pass.

We need more training.

There's no standard in the industry.

We need more training.

But because of this you got to pay for every lead even if it's not ... I don't want to

say I'm not a real lead, because I did hire one person but the problem is I was only one person.

There was only one job, not 60 jobs.

All the other 59 people still had to pay for that.

Now, when we created HouseCleaning360 you don't pay for the leads.

If you go over and you find a customer and they hire you, that's fine, the end.

We don't make a commission, there's not on the back end.

It's a referral hub.

It's designed with ratings and reviews in mind.

It's designed as a recommendation site.

For example, there are a bunch of people in my Facebook group that I know.

I'm online with those people every single day and they live across the country from

me and I've never seen them clean.

I've seen their before and after pictures, I know their personality, I know if I trust

them, I know if they're kind to people.

You can pick up a whole lot in conversation with people.

If someone from their neighborhood called me and said do you know somebody?

Then I have no problem whatsoever saying hey, I know this particular woman that lives in

your city.

I'm in a private Facebook group with her for professional house cleaners.

She's very helpful, she's kind, she's professional and her before and after pictures are amazing.

I have not personally hired her but I think you should give her a call.

Yeah let me connect the two of you.

Right?

I could recommend somebody that I am aware of that I know and I know their character

and I trust them and I like them even if they have not come and cleaned my house personally.

That's what this whole HouseCleaning360 thing is about.

It's about networking with people and getting to know people.

Who are the carpet cleaners in your neighborhood?

Who are the people that do retirement plans for house cleaning?

Guess what?

I know a bunch of house cleaners and we all need retirement planning, right?

That's an excellent service.

It's not just for house cleaning but all of the different people that are inside our network,

the carpet cleaners, the guys that do the gutter cleaning, the guys that do the pest

control.

They could all probably use those services as well.

If you have a business and you service people in their home HouseCleaning360 for you is

an amazing referral hub.

Like I said, you can list your business for free.

If you want to add your business videos and libraries of photos and you want to have a

whole bunch of stuff and turn it into like this mega fan page it's going to cost more money.

The more money is any advertising cost.

If you grow your business and you're going to market your business

there will be advertising costs.

There are a few advertising costs but the whole advertising cost is like 25 bucks a

month, at the most expensive package we have.

We're not talking $300, $400, $500 a month or $1600 like some of these companies charge.

This is a bare bones program that's designed with referrals in mind.

That's what HouseCleaning360 is and anybody that runs a business, that services people

in their homes and I'm talking even piano teachers.

If you go to people's homes to do your business HouseCleaning360.com is for you.

Alrighty, that's my two cents for today.

Oh, I got to tell you one more thing.

We have a private house cleaning group for HouseCleaning360.

It's a private Facebook group and the lessons are loaded up into that website and then anybody

that has questions and answers we resolve those right there.

As you're setting up your business listing if you have questions that's where you go

to get them answered.

I will put links in the show notes to those as well.

You can come join our private Facebook group and you can be a part of our network and you

can participate in that free training.

Yay.

Alright, that's my two cents now.

Until we meet again,

leave the world a cleaner place than when you found it.

How to Get Rid of Stretch Marks with Baking Soda - Duration: 4:37.

How to Get Rid of Stretch Marks with Baking Soda

Stretch marks will occur due to sudden changes in body size, especially in the dermis layer.

It appears as visible fine lines in pink, purple or red marks and thereby fades to thin

silvery white or gray color on the skin surface.

These are termed as left-over marks of rectifying the damage caused by tearing of dermal layer

of the skin.

Sudden weight gain or loss, heredity, stress, pregnancy, usage of certain medications, physical

changes, puberty, poor diet, body building, etc. are some of the factors that cause stretch

marks.

The most common areas where the stretch marks appear on the skin are stomach, thighs, arms,

hips and other fat deposited areas of the skin etc.

Although stretch marks are not any serious health problem but it makes you feel embarrassing

and self – conscious about the appearance.

Also, these marks can't be removed completely from the skin but can be easily faded to mix

it with your skin tone.

Does Baking Soda work on Stretch Marks?

Baking soda not only used for cooking purpose but it has many excellent properties, which

help to clear many health and beauty problems.

Here we are going to know how it works to get rid of stretch marks.

• Baking soda act as a natural exfoliant that helps to remove the dead skin cells to

reveal younger cells underneath and reduces the damage caused due to skin stretching.

• It has an excellent skin whitening and bleaching property that fades away these marks

at a faster rate.

• It encourages the growth of collagen to clear these scars and thereby helps in shedding

the dead skin and promotes new skin's growth.

• It has antioxidant property that helps to fight against the free radicals which further

damage the skin and prevents stretch marks.

Method – 1: (Baking Soda) Baking soda with water is an excellent combination

that was widely used to treat stretch marks and other scars on the skin.

Steps to be followed…

• Add 1 teaspoon each of baking soda and body wash on a clean washcloth.

• Fold the cloth and rub this mix with your hands together till they mixed thoroughly.

• When you come out of the shower then use this cloth to scrub the stretch marks gently

in circular motion.

• Here the hard particles of baking soda help to exfoliate the skin and the body wash

moisturizes, cleans and nourishes the skin.

• Do scrubbing for few minutes and rinse it off with water.

• Continue doing the same process for 2 – 3 times a week to get rid of these stretch

marks on the skin.

Note: Alternatively, mix some sea salt and baking soda in little of water to make it

as a scrub mix.

Use it to scrub the stretch marks for 2 – 3 minutes and continue to fade away them

Method – 2: (Baking Soda with Lemon Juice) Both baking soda and lemon help to exfoliate

the skin to clear dead skin cells which further reduces the appearance of stretch marks.

This combination also helps to bleach the skin to reduce the redness on the affected

areas and thus makes it less visible.

Steps to be followed…

• Add 1/2 teaspoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice in 1 – 2 tablespoons of baking soda.

• Stir it well to make a fine paste and then apply this paste on the stretch marks

affected skin areas.

• Let it sit for few minutes to dry naturally.

• After that, use a clean wet cloth to wipe out the mix.

• Repeat the same process regularly to lighten up the stretch marks on the skin

Method – 3: (Baking Soda with Olive Oil) Scrubbing and exfoliating are the best technique

to remove the dead cells and make the skin soft and supple.
