GOOGLE'S Pixel 3 could be a hugely popular upgrade but it may not be here as early as

we first thought.

The Pixel 3 looks set to be one of the most exciting phones of 2018.

Google is rumoured to be refreshing its own-brand phone with a faster processor, better camera

and new all-screen design.

Recently leaked images have shown a the larger XL sporting a giant edge-to-edge screen and

small notch at the top of the phone.

Other new features could include wireless charging, a dual-lens selfie snapper and it's

also thought the US technology firm will ship its Google Buds headphones in the box.

There's clearly plenty to look forward to in this update but it seems fans may have

to wait a little longer to see what's in store.

Over the past two years, Google has held its launch event on October 4 but this may change

in 2018.

According to a report from Bloomerg, Google looks set to announce its next-generation

smartphone at a major event in New York on October 9.

This would be another first for the search giant with both previous launches taking place

in California.

There's no official confirmation of this new date but it's likely Google will reveal

more in the coming weeks.

There's plenty of other smartphone news arriving over the next month with the IFA

technology show opening its doors later this week.

The event is likely to see new phones unveiled by Sony, HTC, Huawei and Honor.

Then it will be Apple's turn with the US firm expected to reveal its new smartphones

on September 12.

Rumours are rife that three new devices will be unveiled at the keynote including a large

iPhone X Plus and cheaper model with less impressive specs.

New Apple Watches and an updated iPad Pro could also be shown off during the big event

which is expected to take place at the firm's Apple Park campus.

There's also a dining table here, lounge area,

with the couches and stuff where you can relax

and enjoy the cruise. And ...

And then, lemme show you one of the best parts of the boat.

This is one of my favorite areas, the deck,

where you can come out and relax,

have your coffee in the morning or a drink in the afternoon.

I like it. It's like a house, a water house.

Well, I guess it is better than my house, that's for sure.

Wish I had a whiskey or something.

So, there is four state rooms

and each one has its own bathroom.

And this is the master bedroom right here.

See, we have a nice, big bed.

Oh my god. Okay. I gotta go to sleep.

Two down here and two in the front.

Where my wife? What?

This boat is called Spazzino, it's a 70-foot Hatteras.

It's one of our favorite boats in New York

and also one of the best deals you'll find.

This is $1,800 for two...

$1800?

For a quarter day. So for two hours.

This is one of our favorite boats.

What is the most expensive boat you have?

The most expensive booking we did was over $210,000.

They got a 200-foot mega yacht, fully crewed,

had a crew of about 20, that includes a cook,

you have hostess, they take care of everything for you.

And I think the most important part,

they got a whole lot of fun.

How long would it take for Miami from here?

Well, if you take a power boat like this,

it takes about a week.

You got a GPS?

Like, all of this stuff is GPS.

There's a Captain that will take it down there,

the Captain is included. They'll do it.

Can one of them be my uncle?

Trump Official Resigns To Work For Oil Company Who Benefited From Her Deregulation - Duration: 3:59.

The revolving door between government and industry has always been there, but in the

last few years things have gotten really, really bad, and that revolving door seems

to be spinning faster than ever.

Just recently it was announced that Ryan Zinke, the Secretary of the Interior, his long time

assistant and advisor, and top chief of staff actually, Downey Magallanes, was her name,

she resigned from her position at the Department of Interior to go take a job at oil giant,

BP.

She starts next Tuesday at BP.

Do you know what else Miss Magallanes did while she was at the Department of the Interior?

She worked fruitlessly ... I can't say fruitlessly because it bore a lot of fruit there, but

she worked tirelessly to shrink the size of national monuments and national parks here

in the United States, so that they could be opened up for fossil fuel exploitation by

companies like BP, who she now works for in the government affairs office.

So, she spent her time in government giving every single thing possible to the fossil

fuel industry, opening up our beautiful national parks, shrinking the size of them down so

that all those outer layers could be exploited by the fossil fuel industry, so they can extract

the coal, the oil, the natural gas, whatever's down there, they're going to get it now.

Now she's being reward with a very high paying job at BP, where she's going to be working

in the government affairs office directly dealing with the people in the federal government

that she was just working side by side with.

This is one of the biggest problems of the US federal government today, and is not just

something that we see only under Republicans.

It happened under Democrats in the Obama administration, it happened under W. Bush, it happened under

Clinton.

This kind of revolving door, whether it's with the Department of the Interior and the

oil companies, or if it's the FDA and the drug companies, or the EPA and the chemical

industry, it happens all the time.

That is why it has been decades in this country since we have seen any meaningful change come

out of any of those government agencies.

Nothing from the FDA, or EPA, or OSHA, or the interior department, nothing.

It's because of that revolving door.

Either the people currently serving in there have come from industry, or they're hoping

to get a good industry job when they leave office so they've got to do everything possible

to make sure their potential future employer can make as much money as possible, then when

they go in and apply for the job they can put that on their resume and say, "Do you

see what I did here?

This was for you.

Now, shouldn't I have a high paying job?"

That's not how the government should work, it's not how it's supposed to work, but unfortunately

that is 100% how it does work.

People like Miss Magallanes now, she gets to go out and make probably hundreds of thousands

of dollars in her new job that she's starting Tuesday, she's going to be lobbying the same

people she used to work side by side with in the office next door or down the hallway,

so she's going to be able to get all kinds of favor for the oil giants.

But hey, in a situation like this, the only people who suffer are American taxpayers and

those of us who don't want to see our air, land, and water polluted to hell and back.

But people like Miss Magallanes and everybody else who's gone through that revolving door,

they make out like bandits in situations like this.

but I won't say it, but they're really cool.

They're really cool animals, they're dope.

All the women that are coming forward

in Hollywood and standing up for themselves.

And being honest and having a candid conversation about

the power abuse in Hollywood; that's very inspiring

and I commend you guys, so much

and you guys are my inspiration

and thank you for paving

this path for young actresses,

as well, to expect more and know our value as women.

2018 Second Quarter Update - Duration: 1:51.

My name is Katherine Strutt, General

Manager of the Saskatchewan Pension Plan.

I am pleased to share with you some

investment highlights from the second

quarter of 2018. A strong start to the

second quarter helped global equity

markets rebound from the previous

quarter's decline; however, equity market

momentum faltered near the end of the

quarter. SPP's Balanced fund returned 2.26%

year-to-date after

administration costs while the

Short-term fund return after

administration costs was 0.65%. The two

funds combined hold $437.7 million in

member assets. In terms of the Balanced

fund portfolio, Canadian equities

returned 2.2% compared to a

benchmark of 1.9%. US equities

returned 6.5% in Canadian dollars

compared to a benchmark of 7.8%.

Non-North American equities returned 1.6%

in Canadian dollars compared to

a benchmark of 2.1%. Real estate

returned 4.7% compared to a

benchmark of 2.5%. Infrastructure

returned 7.5% compared to a

benchmark of 4.7%. Canadian bonds and

mortgages returned 1% compared to

a benchmark of 0.6%. Please visit
