Youtube daily Nov 12 2018

Hey ya'll, I'm Katie Jacobs from StylingMyEveryday.com.

And I'm gonna bring you a fall tablescape

from my new book So Much To Celebrate.

So a great insider tip is paper table coverings.

Even if you don't have a really fancy table,

you can really elevate it

by doing a marble in a bold color or a metallic.

So we're just gonna run it down the center of our table.

I'm a girl all about pumpkins.

I painted the stems gold.

When you're at the grocery store or the pumpkin patch,

choose pumpkins of varying sizes to add a little interest.

Sticking with the paper table coverings,

I got these great paper place mats.

What I did, is I used just a white paint pen marker,

and just added just a little detail

just to kind of personalize it.

Even thought we've decided to use paper table coverings,

I think it's important to use a cloth napkin.

It's just a little bit more sophisticated.

And it makes your dinner part a little bit more elegant.

So dishes for this party,

I think white is always the way to go.

Food aways looks great on white dishes.

So now that we've got our basic white dinner plates down,

I think it is a great idea to add a little fun pop

with either a dessert plate

or you could make it a salad plate.

So go ahead and set your table, all the dishes out.

Now onto the flatware.

Now you can use your regular stainless steel flatware

for this party, but I splurged and got gold flatware

just for the party.

The great thing is

is that I got these inexpensively at Target.

I'm obsessed with these champagne flutes

that keeps with our gold theme

but it adds another texture element to our table.

Candle light at dinner always sets the mood

so I love adding votive candles.

Place cards are a great opportunity

to do something really special for guests.

These caramel apples can serve not only as a place card,

but they can serve as dessert,

or you can wrap them in cellophane

and send them home as a favor with guests.

So as guests arrive, have your table set,

candles lit, and start a cocktail.

I love just doing chilled apple cider

with kind of a punch of champagne on top.

Because nothing says party like champagne.

Never have a cocktail without a garnish.

And keeping with the caramel apple theme,

we've just cut up a caramel apple,

and slide it right in the side of the glass.

So I love this table because it's really elegant,

but really simple.

Here's to fall.

Here's to family.

Cheers, ya'll.

This AI Learned To Isolate Speech Signals - Duration: 4:17.

Dear Fellow Scholars, this is Two Minute Papers with Károly Zsolnai-Fehér.

This is a neural network-based technique that can perform audio-visual separation.

Before we talk about what that is, I will tell you what it is not.

It is not what we've seen in the previous episode where we could select a pixel and

listen to it, have

a look.

This one is different.

This new technique can clean up an audio signal by suppressing the noise in a busy bar, even

if the source of the noise is not seen in the video.

It can also enhance the voice of the speaker at the same time.

Let's listen.

Or, if we have a skype-meeting with someone in a lab or a busy office where multiple people

are speaking nearby, we can also perform a similar speech separation, which would be

a godsend for future meetings.

And I think if you are a parent, the utility this example needs no further explanation.

I am not sure if I ever encountered the term "screaming children" in the abstract of an

AI paper, so that one was also a first here.

This is a super difficult task, because the AI needs to understand what lip motions correspond

to what kind of sounds, which is different for all kinds of languages, age groups, and

head positions.

To this end, the authors put together a stupendously large dataset with almost 300.000 videos with

clean speech signals.

This dataset is then run through a multi-stream neural network that detects the number of

human faces within the video, generates small thumbnails of them, and observes how they

move over time.

It also analyzes the audio signal separately, then fuses these elements together with a

recurrent neural network to output the separated audio waveforms.

A key advantage of this architecture and training method is that as opposed to many previous

works, this is speaker-independent, therefore we don't need specific training data from

the speaker we want to use this on.

This is a huge leap in terms of usability.

The paper also contains an excellent demonstration of this concept by taking a piece of footage

from Conan O'Brien's show where two comedians were booked for the same time slot and talk

over each other.

The result is a performance where it is near impossible to understand what they are saying,

but with this technique, we can hear both of them one by one, crystal clear.

You see some results over here, but make sure to click the paper link in the description

to hear the sound samples as well.

Thanks for watching and for your generous support, and I'll see you next time!

MI HISTORIA CON EL INGLÉS, consejos y tips / SPEAKING ENGLISH LIFE (subtítulos, subtitles) - Duration: 13:19.

Hello how are you? Today's video will be recorded in english

I am going to tell you how I got to speak this language

And I am filming it in english so that you can see how I speak it

I am gonna make an effort to put subtitles

I hope I inspire you to learn this language since it opens lots of doors in your life

You can communicate pretty much with people from all over the world

since it is a universal language

you can access more information with it

maybe information not available in your native language, in my case spanish

If you are interested in knowing how I learned to speak english, continue watching the video

If you are new to the channel don't forget to subscribe

and to give it a thumbs up if you liked or found the video useful

Para empezar a contarles como aprendí inglés

Voy a empezar

desde mis inicios tempranos

Cuando tenía alrededor de 10 años

Mi mamá me obligó

mi acento va a sonar horrible.

hablarlo mejor, a mejorar tu inglés

no...oh!!

me fui a vivir a

a Buenos Aires

hice era bilingüe, me requerían

Light in the women's bag - Duration: 8:01.

Russian realtor Igor Alferov figured out how to turn on the light in a woman's purse. After all, almost every woman there has a broken leg (I repent, and I have one too. Until I find a mobile phone that is ringing, it stops ringing). Surprisingly, this function was invented by a man. Although, if he were a woman, he would have invented her much earlier, And so it took a long 25 years from understanding the problem to its realization. It was 25 years ago that he noticed how his friend, having failed to find something very necessary in her purse in the dark, poured its contents onto the ground. About 3 years ago, he came to a solution to this problem - he decided to put an LED flashlight inside the bag. Rather, instead of a flashlight, he invented a plastic transparent rivet, inside which the LED was placed. This rivet must be sewn behind the lining of the bag, the USB port for charging the LED will be output. And in the upper part of the handbag was placed a switch, with which it was possible at any time to turn this light on or off. The inventor patented (by resorting to the help of a patent attorney) his design as a useful model (he spent 220 rubles on patenting and creating a prototype bag with backlight). Shot a presentation video. Created page svetvsumke.ru. And he began to look for an investor. I saw his project on planeta.ru, on gust.com, and on investgo24. com (sites where startups are looking for investors). First, he asked for 3 million rubles, then $ 3 million (apparently changing the concept of his business along the way). In the fall of 2015, he appeared in the TV show "Sharks of Business", where entrepreneurs are looking for investors — he was denied there (but when investors refuse, it means nothing, I have seen many businesses that, after such refusals, still become successful - due to the energy, activity and perseverance of the business creators). You can watch the video of his performance in "Shark business" here: In the TV show "Business Sharks" he showed his prototype, so you can evaluate the invention in action. The prototype doesn't look like the video above (to be honest, I personally was a little disappointed - the bag is not as bright as the video; the shapes of the flashlights are round - they don't fit in with the shape of an ordinary women's handbag; along the entire edge of the bag - so that the whole area is lit from the inside evenly, but perhaps I'm just finding fault and for women the form of lighting fixtures is not so important). Three years the inventor was looking for money to launch his project (this is me to ensure that our inventors do not despair - for the invention three years - not a term). During this time, central mass media wrote and told about him (Moskovsky Komsomolets newspaper, TV shows "Friday", "Good morning", "Life in a big city", "Miracle of technology"). And recently, on his website, I saw information that the first issue of bags with backlight will take place in the spring of 2017 (maybe he already found an investor?). First, Russian-made bags will be released, later - Italian. What is the hope of the inventor what success awaits him? Examples of two inventors: Bernard Sadow, who invented the suitcases on wheels (and earned $ 20 million), and Robert Plata, who invented retractable handles for these suitcases (and earned $ 90 million). An illuminated bag is like that very advanced suitcase. About which at first no one knew anything, but then everyone suddenly began to use it - because it became convenient. In the West, there have already been attempts to introduce interior lighting into a handbag. But the decisions were either cumbersome or expensive, so they did not go into mass production. By the way, I met the attachments, who are still coming up with other inventors. Here is one of them, called Bulbo. It is hung on the edge of the bag - with a ball out, the rest - inside. When walking, the ball sways and transfers its kinetic energy to the batteries inside, which illuminate the inside of the bag. This, in principle, is also an interesting option. But if each user himself fastened the wheels to the suitcases, would they become so popular? Why was the inventor denied a Shark business? In their claims to the inventor, I saw two reasons: 1. The inventor has not yet sold a single bag. All his marketing research came down to the fact that he showed women his glowing bag, they gasped with delight and expressed a desire to buy such a bag (but have not yet bought one, because not one such bag - except for the prototype - was sewn). My advice to novice inventors. Before you go to investors, sell yourself. Americans do just that - first they sell to their neighbors, then to the townspeople, collect statistics and only then go to investors or in TV shows by analogy with the "Sharks of business." Igor Alferov should have agreed with some small bagmaking factory, which already sews women's handbags so that she can sew a trial batch of bags with light. And see how the sales will go. 2 One of the mentors suggested that the manufacturers of the bags themselves will begin to sew such devices for lighting - they will not need the devices that the Russian inventor wants to sell them. Apparently, it was for the second reason that Igor Alferov decided to sell the first lots of bags on his own. To do this, he has already invented and calculated the sales scheme (you can read on the page investgo24.com/project/10838, under the subtitle "Business Model"). In short, he intends to create in every region of Russia a trading company "Light in a bag - a region", which will play the role of an online store for the first year and a half, receive group requests, bring to the offices 12 bags to choose from - of which 2-4 bags will be purchased. During the day the manager will visit 3-4 offices and will be able to sell 5-8 bags. After a year and a half, this company, after forming a client base, will become a wholesale seller of women's, men's bags and other leather goods. And in the regions, with the help of local entrepreneurs, offline stores will be created, in which, besides bags, clothing, cosmetics, shoes and underwear will be sold. But we will see. Perhaps the creator of the led sewn into the fabric in fact will soon become a millionaire (or a billionaire). Follow the news on his website svetvsumke.ru. In any case, the idea is very interesting. And someone finally has to solve the problem of searching difficulties in women's handbags.

Treat Excessive Sweating with 5 Natural Remedies|HFE♪ - Duration: 12:54.

Treat Excessive Sweating with 5 Natural Remedies

Thanks to its antiperspirant and deodorant properties, a walnut infusion can help us fight against excessive sweating while avoiding bad odor.

Excessive sweating, a condition known as hyperhidrosis, is a problem! It begins with abnormal sweat secretion.

And, it's not necessarily related to heat or physical activity.

It causes great discomfort.

This is not only because the fluids can soak through their clothes, but also because they can be accompanied by unpleasant odors. And, these odors can hinder relationships.

Also, you can solve the problem with antiperspirant products.

However, sometimes, it is necessary to resort to other therapies and remedies to control it more effectively.

Luckily, before having to resort to medical measures, we can prepare a series of natural solutions that help regulate it so that it does not affect the quality of life.

Below, we want to review some of its associated causes and 5 alternative treatments that may help with its relief.

What are the causes of excessive sweating?.

Sweating is the mechanism that the body uses to cool down.

The nervous system activates the sweat glands when, for some reason, the body temperature rises above normal.

This process also occurs when a state of nervousness or anxiety occurs.

However, in patients with hyperhidrosis, the sweat glands become overactive and secrete fluids even at rest.

Factors related to this condition include:.

Out-of-control hormones (pregnancy, menopause, among others) Mellitus diabetes Thyroid problems Nervous system disorders Diseases of the heart or lungs Parkinson's disease Heart failure Overweight and obesity.

Symptoms of excessive sweating.

Most people secrete sweat when they exercise or do some kind of physical activity.

However, patients with hyperhidrosis experience this symptom more frequently than usual.

The most affected areas are those where the largest number of sweat glands are concentrated:.

Hands Feet Underarms Face and neck Back.

Its manifestations include:.

Constant moisture on the palms of the hands and feet Visible sweating that soaks through clothes Discoloration of the affected area Maceration of the skin Body odor Cracking of the skin.

Natural remedies to control excessive sweating.

If excessive sweating interferes with daily life, it is best to consult your doctor to find out what is the cause and how to effectively treat it.

As a complement to this, you can consider some remedies of natural origin that help to counteract it.

Green tea.

For its content of tannins and organic acids, green tea acts as a natural astringent to reduce excessive sweat secretion.

Ingredients.

4 tablespoons of green tea (60 g) 3 cups of water (750 ml).

Preparation.

Add the green tea to the cups of boiling water and cover the liquid.

Let it sit for 15 minutes and filter it with a sieve.

Manner of use.

Use the liquid to wash your armpits, hands and any parts that tend to sweat excessively.

Repeat its application every day. Walnut.

This alternative remedy has antiperspirant and deodorizing properties that can help keep the skin fresh to avoid excess sweat and odor.

Ingredients.

2 tablespoons of dried walnut leaves (30 g) 2 cups of water (500 ml).

Preparation.

Add the walnut leaves to a pot with water and bring them to boil over low heat for 5 minutes.

Let the liquid rest at room temperature until it cools.

Manner of use.

Rinse the affected areas with the liquid, or apply with the help of a cotton ball.

Repeat its use every day.

Coconut oil and camphor.

The antimicrobial power of coconut oil can prevent the growth of bacteria in areas in which excessive sweat is usually concentrated.

Mixing it with camphor gives us a powerful deodorant and antiperspirant that helps protect the skin against odor.

Ingredients.

½ cup of coconut oil (100 g) ½ teaspoon of camphor (2 g).

Preparation.

Mix the coconut oil with the camphor until you obtain a homogeneous product.

Manner of use.

Rub the remedy on the sweaty areas and let it work without rinsing.

Use it every day. Salt and lemon.

This astringent remedy decreases the secretion of fluids in the hands and armpits.

Its exfoliating effect removes dead cells and bacteria so that odors are not generated.

Ingredients.

1 tablespoon of salt (15 g) 2 tablespoons of lemon juice (30 ml).

Preparation.

Combine the salt with the lemon juice until you get a granulated paste.

Manner of use.

Rub the remedy on the problem areas and let it act for 5 minutes.

Rinse with plenty of water and avoid exposing yourself to the sun later.

Aloe vera and baking soda.

This interesting mixture cools the skin and inhibits the growth of bacteria that cause unpleasant odors due to excessive sweating.

Ingredients.

2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel (30 g) 1 teaspoon of baking soda (3 g).

Preparation.

Mix the aloe vera gel with the baking soda until you get a paste.

Manner of use.

Rub the product under the armpits, on the feet and any problem areas.

Use it every day for better results.

Do you suffer from excessive sweating? Try these natural remedies and reduce those uncomfortable symptoms that make you feel ashamed.

4 Signs that You're Vitamin K Deficient

Vitamin K plays an important role in synthesizing proteins linked to blood clotting, which is why a deficiency could lead to a stroke, among other problems.

Does this sound familiar? You're working then, suddenly, you get a nose bleed.

On a different day, you're putting on new shoes and start to bleed in an unusual way.

You're not really sure what's going on, but lately, you've been noticing strange bleeding. Well, it just might be possible that you have a vitamin K deficiency.

Have you ever heard of it? No? Well, you're not alone. There are other, more popular vitamins than vitamin K, despite it being just as necessary as the rest.

This is why we'd like to inform you about it and help you know the related symptoms in vitamin K deficiencies. Want to keep reading?.

What does vitamin K do?.

Those who take acenocoumarol (Sintrom) are very familiar with vitamin K.

It's a drug that's responsible for making sure that blood clots correctly.

The people who use acenocoumarol have restrictions in vitamin K consumption because the medication aims to prevent blood from becoming too dense.

When your blood is too loose, you risk suffering uncontrollable hemorrhages at unexpected moments, such as at the dentist or podiatrist, among other places.

In the worst case scenario, you could even suffer a stroke.

To prevent the aforementioned, you should be getting enough vitamin K in your diet.

The good news is that there are plenty of foods that have vitamin  K.

You can distinguish them by looking for green foods, which will make it easy for you to add them onto your plate.

What are the symptoms associated with a vitamin K deficiency?.

When you don't the sufficient vitamin K that your body needs, you can experience the following symptoms:.

Hemorrhages.

As we mentioned before, when you have blood with a very loose consistency, you're more likely to suffer from hemorrhages.

For example, a small cut from cooking could become a serious problem because stopping the bleeding could be a complicated ordeal.

For that reason, it's important to check your vitamin K levels.

Remember that if you go to the dentist, or if you undergo any kind of intervention or minor surgery, you could really get into some trouble.

On the same note, you can't forget about the possibilities of having internal hemorrhages, light of heavy, either.

Regardless of how serious your case is, these symptoms can become a serious problem for your health and life in the long term.

Brusing.

The least serious sign of a hemorrhage is bruising.

Bruising is the accumulation of blood that results from bleeding. However, frequent bruising can be an advantage because it can alert you of a vitamin K deficiency.

There are people who complain that they bruise even with the smallest hit.

On the other hand, others might not even know why they bruise in the first place because they don't recall anything that could have caused it.

Despite the lack of collision, they bruise.

If you show this symptom, you should get a blood test to check your body's vitamin K levels.

Treating a possible vitamin K deficiency in time can allow you to attend your condition more efficiently, and as a result, the related symptoms.

Purpura.

Purpura is the spreading of purple or red spots in certain areas of the body due to blood accumulation.

Contrary to bruising, these spots don't disappear. They're most common in the ankle region because it's a critical location in terms of blood circulation.

If you suffer from this condition, and though it might be impossible to get rid of the spots that already formed, you can stop it from spreading by consuming more vitamin K.

However, you should be very aware that the signs can worsen or improve.

Excessive calcification in joints.

Vitamin K acts like a guide for vitamin D to go to the right places.

As a consequence, when your vitamin K levels are low, vitamin D builds up in the wrong areas of your body such as in joints and cartilage.

What does that mean? Too much calcium in these areas can make it harder to move.

At the same time, other areas weaken because of the lack of needed calcium. If the vitamin K deficiency is severe, you might experience sharp pain and overall weaker skeletal system.

Conclusion.

Be on the lookout for any of these symptoms.

While the majority of them aren't serious, they serve as a warning, a signal that your health could be at risk.

So, as soon as you notice a symptom, you should make an appointment with your doctor and request a check up for your vitamin K levels.

10 Things that Cause You to Constantly Feel Hungry|HFE♪ - Duration: 7:07.

10 Things that Cause You to Constantly Feel Hungry

Being hungry is when we feel as though we have an "empty stomach." It can be caused by many things.

In this article, we'll explain some possible causes.

Take note!   Are you constantly eating, or are you always thinking about food? Pay attention to the possible causes listed in this article.

Thirst If you've just eaten a lot and you're still hungry, then it probably isn't hunger.

Think about the last time you had a drink of water.

Drink a glass and wait a little while. The hunger will diminish, and it'll turn out that you were actually just thirsty.

You can get rid of the constant hungry simply by drinking water regularly.

The best way to get your body used to an increased intake of water is to drink a glass in the morning and then half an hour before every meal.

Foods with empty calories Don't eat extra treats that contain a lot of sugar, because you're just consuming empty calories.

Sweets, even if you only eat them in small amounts, only end up exciting the appetite without giving your body healthy and nutritious food.

The key is the try to reduce the number of fast carbohydrates and sugars and replace them with healthier foods.

Not sleeping well Not sleeping well often makes us feel like we need to eat as soon as we wake up, which wouldn't happen with 7-9 hours of good sleep.

During the night, the body produces a hormone called melatonin which plays an important part in the correct functioning of the body.

This also has an impact on your appetite.

Stress All of us exhibit either one of two types of behaviour when faced with stressful moments. There are people who can't eat anything, and those who need to eat more, precisely because of the stress.

If you're one of those people who eats more when stressed and anxious, then you need to remind yourself that stress is not a valid reason for eating unhealthy foods.

It'd be better opting for some other activity.

Call your friends, play a sport, read a book…anything that will distract you and stop you thinking about food.

Snacks and alcohol Alcohol causes weight gain and stimulates the appetite.

Don't drink alcohol or at least drink it in moderation. If you go out with friends, choose light meals and healthy snacks.

Lack of protein To avoid eating too much, it's important to include enough protein in your diet.

As well as providing us with energy, it also makes us feel fuller. Eat greens and fruits as well as proteins.

Lack of healthy fats Not all fats are the same.

For example, fast food, fried foods, greasy foods, smoked foods and pastries all contain unhealthy fats. These saturated fats will make you gain weight.

However, there are healthy fats which should be present in your diet. This type of fats is found in olive oil, salmon, nuts, avocado, and sunflower seeds.

Not eating regular meals Have five meals per day: breakfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks in between them.

Don't miss a single meal and, if possible, always have them at the same time or similar time each day.

It's also best that you don't eat excessive portions.

Don't constantly think about food The growing tendency to see images of food on social networks makes us think about it constantly.

Try not to be constantly on Instagram looking for things to cook that night or at your next party, because in the end, you'll just want to eat even more.

Don't eat quickly Eating slowly is fundamental in order to feel satisfied and full at the right time.

Eating quickly doesn't give your body enough time to absorb it, and then it ends up demanding more.

One good way to do this is chew your food thoroughly and slowly and eat small mouthfuls. The brain needs time to recognise the signal that your stomach is full, so give it a chance.

If you eat very quickly, you'll ingest more calories and you probably more than you need.
