Hello there and welcome back to another video of measureschool.com teaching you the data-driven

way of digital marketing.

My name is Julian, and I'm back with another quick tip on Google Tag Manager.

This time we want to talk about to Google Tag Manager API, and actually how to try it

out.

Now, when I was building my GTM copy paste extension, I have utilized this website a

lot to understand the Google Tag Manager API and to try out certain things and how the

GTM API reacts, what I get back, and so on.

So it will be an invaluable resource when you want to try to work with the Google Tag

Manager API.

And it's pretty well documented.

Some things are not so well documented.

But who's here to complain, we want to try this out.

And we can try it out by going into the references here and see what we can actually do with

the GTM API.

Now I'm using the Tag Manager API version 2 and what you would need is actually just

this website and a Google Tag Manager account to try this out.

So we have here Google Tag Manager account we have

some tags in here.

Let's say we wanted to see what tags actually in the account and want to go through the

GTM API to actually see this.

Now we have different commands here that we can ask the GTM API to call on.

And one of those are the tags right here.

And we have different commands, we can delete a tag, we can create a tag, get list and so

on.

We want to list actually the tag that we have available in our account.

And then this little try this API thing pops up, I can make this bigger and what we would

need to put in is a parent, a string and then if we wanted to have one or the second page

of them with multiple tags, then we could put this in as well.

Now, what is this parent thing?

Its really just the URL that you see up here so Google Tag Manager knows which account

to access and get the data from.

And it's everything from this slash here before the account starts, up until to the workspace

and after that, it will take

care of itself, because it will know that you want to get the list of the tags.

So I'm going to copy this and put it into the parents string right here, you can execute

it.

Now it needs to have access to my Google Tag Manager account.

And therefore, I need to go through the auth flow of actually logging in.

And here we go, we get a 200 response, which is a good response its green.

And we see the different tags and what we can actually get from the Google Tag Manager

API.

We get the account ID, and so on.

And we see the actual tags.

So he has a tag ID 2 with the name GA event click, that would be this one.

And in the JSON object, we have parameters in here as well.

Now when I was building the GTM copy paste extension, this was invaluable because I was

able to try this out manually so to say in this, try this API controller.

And then ported over to my application.

So here we have the JavaScript that would this go through

in order to get this information.

So just to give you an example of how I use this.

I was obviously wanting to take a tag just like this one and I wanted to get this tag

first of all so all the configuration so I'm going to go here to the tag get and I wanted

to get the path first of all for this particular tag.

Now the path is actually what you can see down below here we can also right click and

click on a copy this link address and go over to the path and paste that in.

So now that we have pasted it in we obviously need to make it into a password.

I'm going to get rid of this beginning here but then the API would know what to access.

So I'm going to execute this and again I need to authenticate.

And then it will get all the information for me in this perfectly formatted JSON format.

And I can also

Go ahead and copy this.

So now I have this and I can create a tag.

Now the question was, where do you want to create this tag?

So you need to put in a parent, and you need to put in a request body.

Now I already have the request body from the copied information that I had before.

I want to copy this exact tag into another account.

So I'm just going to go into another account here.

All right, and up here, I have this different account going to copy this and put this all

in right here so it knows where to put that information.

Now, all I need to do is execute.

Again, go through the auth flow and get information back it's not found.

So something was wrong in my actual container or my parents right here.

So let's see.

Well, the parent doesn't actually need this tags at the end here knows that it's a tag

that it wants to upload.

So that should work let's try this out again.

We get a

400 error.

Now 400 errors are a bit annoying because you don't know actually what went wrong.

Something is malformed inside of your tag.

And this is not well documented, I must say.

But I can tell you what it is.

What is the problem here?

And that's probably the firing trigger ID.

Because the firing trigger ID is not found in the new account so it can't reconnect it.

But if I get rid of this, so you can just plainly edit this and execute.

We now see 200 we have uploaded or created this new tag, it should now turn up in our

other workspace here.

And here we go.

We have our event click, the trigger was not ported over as the trigger is separate from

the tag itself.

So if you are interested in working with the Tag Manager API, and see whether it's actually

possible and try it out yourself, utilize this documentation with the try this API feature

to see how it's actually working and how you can

manipulate things through the API in your Google Tag Manager account or list certain

things and so on.

I heavily use this as I said with the GTM copy paste extension.

Hey, it's me again.

Thanks for checking out our quick tip video.

Was that helpful?

Did you understand something not quite?

Then I'd love to hear from you in the comments down below.

Wyatt Russell Accidentally Flashed a Paris Hotel - Duration: 5:56.

-Thank you so much for coming on the show

because I -- I know your family.

I know Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn as your parents,

and I know Kate Hudson, your sister, very well.

-Yeah, yeah.

It's good to be -- It's good to be back here.

It's good to be back. I'm excited to be back.

-This is your first --

-No, no, no. No, this is my second time.

-Is that right? -Yeah.

-Oh, I apologize. -Yeah, no, it's all right.

It's fine. Yeah, I know.

Can't believe you don't remember.

-Well, I forget when we had you on before.

-Well, it was in L.A. It was in L.A.

You guys came to Universal Studios.

-That's right. I went to Universal.

I do remember that. -Yeah, and I took the tram down.

You know? And I had the wristbands.

You guys all have wristbands.

[ Cheers and applause ]

And my -- my girlfriend, you know, me and my girlfriend

Meredith Hagner, the beautiful, wonderful better half of mine,

came down and we, you know, we thought we were gonna meet you.

But we didn't. It was fine. It was cool.

I got -- But I did -- You know,

I can't believe you don't remember me touching your hand.

[ Laughter ] -Oh. Oh, wow.

-I mean, you guys probably have video of it,

if you wanted to show. -Do we have a clip of this?

-Probably.

All right, yeah. See? There, and, yeah.

-Oh, there you are! Oh, my God, how did I --

[ Cheers and applause ]

Of course! Yes! -See?

-Wyatt, I remember this. Now I remember.

-Now you remember me. -Welcome back to the show.

Now I get it. Yes, of course. The high five.

That was exciting. [ Laughter ]

Oh, man, well, I'm happy now you're sitting here

because I'm a giant fan of yours.

-Thank you.

-I think it was "22 Jump Street" the first time I saw you.

Crushed it. You were on the field goal post.

And that was -- I go, "That kid is hilarious."

And I think I talked to Cage, and he was like,

"Yeah, that's my brother, dude. He's awesome.

And I go, "Oh, my gosh." You crushed it.

Stole that scene.

Then "Everybody Wants Some"?

-"Everybody Wants Some."

-Dude, Richard Linklater.

That movie was -- I don't even know if it was a movie.

I don't know what it was, but I felt like I lived with you.

-It was an experience. -It really was.

-It was an experience.

-One of my favorite things I've ever seen.

You were so great, and I was so sad at the end --

Viola, no spoilers. -No spoilers.

Yeah, that's not a movie for spoilers,

but it was a good experience.

-And also "Black Mirror."

You crushed it in that one. And now, anyway.

[ Cheers and applause ] -Thank you. Thanks a lot.

-Really, that was great. Anyways, now, "Overlord."

-Thank you. -Here we go.

This is in theaters and it's in IMAX as well.

You were sick is what I heard during filming.

-Yeah, I had mono, which is weird to get at 31.

-That is odd, yeah. -Yeah, it's strange.

-Where were you filming? -We were filming in London.

And I thought like -- Oh, I didn't know what it was.

So when I got sick, I did about half of the movie with mono.

But what I had to do is I had to go out --

I had overstayed my visa in London.

I had to go out of the country to Paris.

So I spent one night in Paris, but I was out of it.

And I sleep naked, so I get into the hotel room,

and I wasn't thinking.

I shut the door and I go to bed.

I wake up the next morning, and I didn't realize

that the entire side of the wall to my hotel room

is a massive floor-to-ceiling, wall-to-wall window.

On the other side of it is where all of the French patrons

are eating their breakfast.

[ Laughter ]

And it was like, "Oh, all right, hey."

-Oh, my gosh! -"How's it going?"

I didn't know what to do. I was like frozen.

People looking at me. And I got back under the sheets.

And I was like, "Oh, what do I do?"

I can't like, get up and get the --

I can't close the curtain.

-Yeah, never forget that. That is a --

-Yeah.

-"That is a big baguette. That is a --"

[ Laughter ]

"It's a croissant. It's a small baguette."

[ Laughter ]

"It's a croissant."

But why would you have to go to Paris to go --

-I don't know. I don't know.

-You just felt like doing it. -Well, they made me.

-Oh, for like -- -I got on the bullet train.

I went for one day. I was totally out of it.

And then just slept one night in Paris.

-Did it affect the movie or filming the --

-No, no. They were cool about it

because I got to go back and I did like --

you know, I had to do a couple night scenes -- it was funny.

You can play a game if you want when you're watching the movie

because it's like, you know,

watch when Wyatt's gaining weight and losing weight

because I lost about 25 pounds

in like a span of probably three weeks.

Just like shed the weight.

So in some parts of the movie, you're like,

"You look a little thin."

Pretty good, but a little thin.

-So in the movie, it's supposed to span a couple of --

-Six hours. It's over six hours.

-So in the six hours, you get skinny and fat in the movie.

-Yeah, yeah. [ Laughter ]

It's like, "Oh, anybody that's gained that much weight

in six hours, you should see a doctor."

-You got to go -- you got to see it just for those scenes.

What can you tell us about "Overlord"?

-It's D-Day, 1944, Operation Overlord.

They get dropped on enemy lines in Nazi-occupied France,

and they encounter some very nefarious testing facilities

that the Nazis are doing.

-Well, this is a J.J. Abrams, right?

-Yes, J.J. Abrams produced this movie.

And it's unbelievable.

-There's zombies involved. -There's zombies involved.

-Come on.

If that's not a reason to watch this film, watch what he does.

I want to show a clip.

Here's Wyatt Russell in "Overlord." Take a look at this.

-How did you get inside the church?

-Dead bodies.

-Slow down. Slow down.

-Listen to me. They're doing experiments on them in there.

They're doing experiments on the villagers.

-What?

-Just like their --

Burning people with these flamethrowers,

and they're still moving the bodies.

-Cocoon things and -- -Breathe, breathe.

Did you get eyes on the tower compound?

-She doesn't actually have a body and she's still --

she's still talking and I saw --

-Did you get eyes on the tower compound?

-[ Panting ]

The tower basin is below the ground.

But there's more than that down there.

-Okay. -Look.

-Okay.

-What the hell is that?

Jeff Goldblum Explains Why He Has a Giant Portrait of Himself - Duration: 2:57.

for you --

It was a few months ago. There was a statue of you.

-Yes.

-By the London Bridge. -Yes.

-It's a very famous piece of real estate.

-I know.

-Look at that. -Now...

[ Laughter ]

Did you know this was coming?

-Isn't it funny? When I do that, I feel some stimulation.

-You do? Okay. -Yeah. I do.

I'm so sensitive, all I have to do is touch my picture.

I did not know it was coming. -Really?

You had no warning? -No warning at all.

Some company that was releasing --

It was the 25th anniversary of "Jurassic Park."

And they wanted to promote it.

Anyway, they did that. No.

The morning of, somebody sent me "Look what showed up."

-This is even better. Like, it's one thing there.

But I guess, in London, there's not that much going on.

[ Laughter ]

-I hadn't seen that.

-So it's just, "Let's go..." -I hadn't seen that.

So, you -- I want to ask about this, as well.

-Okay. -This is from "Life Aquatic."

-This is all embarrassing. I'm so sorry. I apologize.

-No, it's not embarrassing. It's wonderful.

So, you're in the film. The great Wes Anderson.

-The great Wes Anderson. I've done three movies with him.

"Isle of Dogs" most recently. -Yep.

-And then "Grand Budapest Hotel."

And "Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou."

-Yep.

[ Cheers and applause ]

-And there was a --

-And you were in "Journey to the Center of the Earth."

I love that. I love the original.

You ever see the original? -No.

-In Pittsburgh, I went with my sister.

-Oh, wow. -Pat Boone. Oh, baby.

James Mason. -Oh, James mason.

-That's a great movie. -There you go.

-Anyway.

-So, there was an oil painting of your character in the film.

-Yes.

-And did you ask for it, or did Wes offer it to you?

-Wes Anderson did. After we did the movie,

he called up and said, "You know, I got this thing."

It was in the movie at the Explorers Club.

A portrait of Bill Murray's character and my character.

We were explorers. Anyway.

He said, "You know, we got this thing. You want it?"

"Sure," I said. "Roll it up." It was a beautifully done --

Rolled it up. He sent it to me.

And then I framed it in a big, gaudy gold frame,

put it in my house, and it's hopefully taken

in the ironic spirit, which it's meant...

although there's probably a good modicum of narcissism.

-No, it's a nice -- There's a nice -- You know what?

If anyone deserves a little bit of narcissism,

[ Applause ] -Yeah.

No, it's not -- Well -- -I want to say

the heartbreak is -- people don't know how bad it is.

They put a little arrow for me.

See that little arrow? -Oh. Look at that.

-So they try to make sure I get it right.

-No, this was gonna be the album,

like "Spinal Tap." [ Laughter ]

"None more black. None more black."

-All right. So, tell me. -So, 30 years in the making?

Well, in a way, because I've been playing out and about.

I was playing piano since I was a kid in Pittsburgh.

-Mm-hmm. Yes. -But 30 years ago,

I started to played to play out and about just for fun,

just because I'm -- it just delights the heck out of me.

And then -- And we wanted to do it under the radar, really.

And it was all going like that, except we started to play.

We played the Playboy Jazz Festival.

That's how we came up with the name some time ago.

But, a year ago, I was promoting "Thor: Ragnarok" in London,

and I went on a show with Gregory Porter,

who's a wonderful singer, who's great.

And he said, "Oh, I know you play piano.

Come on, let's -- accompany me while I do 'Mona Lisa.'"

So we did that in the show.

And then his record label, Decca, saw us do it and said,

"Hey, maybe we'll do something with Jeff."

And that's what -- what happened.

And they were so great -- Tom Lewis and Rebecca Allen.

They came to L.A. We talked about it.

They hooked us up with Larry Klein,

this spectacular producer,

and other -- Haley Reinhart, and Imelda May, who sings,

and I -- Sarah Silverman... -Sarah Silverman.

-..sings on it. -Our friend Sarah Silverman.

So, how did you get -- had you guys sung before, you and Sarah?

-Yes, we had.

I met her, you know, right around this right here

when I hosted "Saturday Night Live"

long before you were born... -Wow.

-...in 1993 -- no, '92. -No. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

[ Light laughter ] -And she was writing it.

And then we stayed in touch.

I was pals, and she was, too, with Garry Shandling

and da, da, da. -Uh-huh.

-We found ourselves in the same circle.

We did a couple of things together.

And then, I had done a charity event

and cooked up this song in a duet with somebody else

that Sammy Davis and Frank Sinatra recorded

at that same place where we recorded this,

in fact, I do believe,

the Capitol Records Building in Hollywood,

of "Me and My Shadow." -Uh-huh.

-On one occasion, she was doing that Largo show that she does.

-Yes, a great comedy show. -Great comedy show.

Said, "Would you be my special guest?"

She said -- I said, "Hey, maybe we could learn this thing."

I went over to her apartment.

If you go on YouTube, you can see us.

She recorded us rehearsing it in her apartment before we did it.

Anyway, Larry Klein said,

"Oh, yeah, I've got Sarah to do this.

It might be funny and fun.

She's a wonderful singer." Anyway...

And we wrote some new novelty lyrics,

and we do a -- we that song on the album.

-That's fantastic.

38 North criticizes NYT report on 'secret' N. Korea bases - Duration: 0:34.

38 North criticized a story that's based on the CSIS report.

The New York Times article read "the North has been engaged in a great deception."

The U.S. website monitoring the regime called the story a "disservice to readers",... that

it is "misleading", as Pyeongyang never promised to inhibit the deployment of its missiles,

let alone dismantle the bases.

38 North also pointed out that Washington didn't offer any corresponding steps to make

the deal possible,... and emphasized the importance of focusing on negotiations, rather than making

"premature" accusations on the reclusive state.

Smog alert issued in China, S. Korea less likely to be affected - Duration: 1:48.

A yellow smog alert was issued this week in Beijing and other regions in China.

This was largely caused by coal heating and poor air circulation.

According to our Yoon Jung-min, air quality in Korea is less likely to be affected due

to the direction of the wind.

Beijing and other regions in China are suffering from severe smog.

As of Tuesday, a yellow alert for smog was issued in Beijing and neighboring regions

such as Tianjin and Hebei, according to the Chinese environment monitoring center.

Under the current three-tier warning system, the yellow alert is the least severe, followed

by orange and red.

When a yellow alert is issued, outdoor construction is restricted and vehicles causing heavy pollution

are prohibited.

The poor air quality, caused mainly by coal heating and emissions, has been made worse

by high humidity and weak air circulation, but the environment center says the smog will

begin to weaken from Thursday after the arrival of a cold front.

South Korea's air conditions are much affected by its neighbor especially during winter,

but Beijing's smog this week is unlikely to severely affect the Korean peninsula.

"Mostly, wind from the northwest carries air pollutants from China to Korea, but there

would be no northwest wind on Thursday.

Rather, the air will flow is from the southeast.

Even if the smog heads toward Korea, it would move very slowly."

Meanwhile, the South Korean government has been taking measures to attempt to tackle

the fine dust issue.

Recently the government announced it will reduce the number of diesel cars and close

older coal-fired power plants while working with China to reduce fine dust.

Hazard explains why his ankle injury in June 2017 is now benefiting Chelsea - Duration: 2:41.

Eden Hazard has claimed that the fractured ankle he suffered last summer is the reason why he is feeling fresh at present

Sustaining the injury on international duty back in June 2017, it wasn't until the beginning of September when the player made his comeback off the bench in the 2-1 win over Leicester City

Making a total of 51 appearances for the Blues last season, the 27-year-old then made six appearances for Belgium at the World Cup as Roberto Martinez's side reached the semi-finals

With the player only returning to pre-season at Cobham one week before the opening day win at Huddersfield, the Real Madrid target has claimed that he is feeling tired at present but time on the sidelines 12 months ago means that he is still feeling fresh

Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: "Believe me, I am tired!  "But I think I'm in good condition to play

"Last year I got an injury with my ankle for three months. So, that's why I'm fresh now

"And when you are happy on the pitch you can try some things. I'm just enjoying myself

"  Now back in title contention after a miserable title defence last term, Hazard has claimed he is enjoying his football at present under Maurizio Sarri

"For the last seven years with Chelsea, I have always enjoyed myself," he added

"When I am on the pitch I try to give happiness, first to me and then to the fans who are watching the game

"At the moment, we are doing well and that's why I am doing well. So I am happy to play at the moment

S. Korea holds tourism fair in Beijing to attract back Chinese tourists - Duration: 0:48.

South Korea is holding a tourism fair in Beijing to attract back Chinese tourists.

According to the Korea Tourism Organization,… over 70 tourism-related companies and institutions

took part in the one-day expo in the Chinese capital on Wednesday.

More than 300 industry experts from the two countries gathered at the event to discuss

ways to improve ties, which deteriorated last year after Beijing banned tourists in retaliation

against Seoul's deployment of THAAD, a U.S. missile defense system.

Chinese nationals accounted for almost half of the 17-point-2-million foreigners who visited

South Korea in 2016, but the number of Chinese tourists fell by over 48-percent to just 4-million

in 2017.

While China has partially lifted the ban,... restrictions on tours on cruise ships and

chartered planes, as well as the online promotion of tour programs, are still in place.
