As you can see this is a really good looking travel crib.

First and foremost, you've got the mesh sides.

These are great because it makes it

You also have a really nice plush mattress

that's not gonna sink down,

which is the case with some other travel cribs.

Additionally, you can zip off the mattress cover

as well as the mesh sides

so it's easy to clean at any time.

This travel crib is super light as the name implies.

At only 13 pounds, this is perfect for travel of any kind.

Short trips or longer trips,

it's super easy to setup and take down,

unlike some other travel cribs out there.

Now the drawback of this particular crib

is that it's pricey.

At $300, that's a pretty big investment.

The other downside is that

the mattress is low to the ground.

So if you have a newborn,

it's a little bit of an effort

to place your baby down all the way into the crib

as opposed to some other bassinets that are higher up.

So just a few things to consider if you're thinking about

If you're a parent who values portability

and wants a lightweight, sleek modern design,

What's great about this product is that

it's extremely versatile from the bassinet

There is a removable bassinet.

so you can take the changing pad off

and you put it on the ground,

wherever you need to change the baby.

So, if you've got this downstairs,

you've got your changing table upstairs,

you've got multiple places that you can

put the baby down to change him or her.

Now, I have a 10 month old daughter

and when she was two months old,

we took her to my mom's house

and this is exactly the Pack 'n Play

that we used for three weeks.

It was perfect to keep in the bedroom with us.

We had her sleeping in the bassinet

where she felt cozy and secure,

and we had the changing table so we didn't

have to worry about buying an additional changing table

while we were at my mom's.

We've also got these pockets here which can

hold your diapers and your wipes.

The Pack 'n Play is also portable,

so this is great for a vacation or if you want

an additional place for your baby to sleep

if you're staying at your parents' or your in-laws'.

What's also great is the price point.

So, it's extremely affordable compared to other travel cribs

and play yards that are out there on the market.

The Pack 'n Play is 23 pounds, so it's not super light

and it can be a little bit awkward

at times to set up and break down.

No, no, I almost had it.

So, this is something that you want

to be able to open up and leave

at least for a few days at a time.

If you are a parent who values functionality

and I think that is really great for moms

who like to be hands free like I do,

I always carry a backpack with me instead

because it's just so much easier

to get through the airport and still have

two hands to hold your kids' hands.

It also comes with this shoulder strap

so you can either use it as a shoulder bag

or if you lengthen the strap you can wear it cross body,

more as a messenger bag style.

It even comes with stroller straps

so you can simply hook it onto the handles

of your stroller and go that way.

This bag is made of a coated canvas material

which means that it's really easy to wipe off.

Also, the inside is water resistant.

So even if you've got any spills in there

from milk bottles or juice boxes don't worry.

It's gonna be super easy to clean

on the inside as well.

One of the features that parents really rave about

is this built in diaper changing area.

You just unzip it on the sides and it rolls out

and you can see it's super long,

so plenty of room even for older babies.

There are two pockets here to hold diapers and wipes

and it comes with this wipe case which is really handy.

It's not inexpensive.

At $180, it's definitely on the pricier side

when it comes to diaper bags.

Also, I think this bag is best for moms

who like a backpack style because they like

to walk around with their hands free.

talking about the Nuna Pipa car seat.

Now as you can see, this is a really good looking car seat,

but it also has some unique safety features.

We could talk all day long about how good looking

something is, but if it's not safe, it doesn't matter.

Let's talk about the safety features.

The base will clip directly into your car using

a LATCH installation system.

There are little indicators here on the sides that will go

from red to green so that you know it's installed correctly.

Additionally, there are little bubble levels on either side

to also let you know that it's installed correctly.

What's also unique is the stability leg here,

which will reach down to the floor of your car

and let you keep the car seat in place in case of an

accident or a sudden stop.

Now, as a city dweller myself, this is one of my favorite

car seats because of the look of it,

but also because of the feel.

Weighing only 7.9 pounds,

it's super light and it fits into smaller spaces,

if you have to keep this in your apartment.

It also has a nice sun shade.

This is weather resistant.

It's UPF 50 and it also muffles out sound.

So, if you are using this to clip into your stroller,

it's great for around the city.

The downside of this car seat is the price point.

At $299, it comes in on the higher side of car seats.

Now, the upside is that it is compatible with the Nuna

stroller, or you can purchase an adaptor to go with any

stroller you might have such as the Vista or the Bugaboo.

This car seat can be used for your baby from four to 32

pounds, and up to 32 inches.

So, there is a little bit of a time limit on it,

but you've got awhile using this car seat.

This is great for any parent who is style conscious

and on the go.

Because it's so light weight, it's easy to carry around

and take in and out of a car at any time.

A comfortable head rest, with side impact protection,

which obviously, as we know, is super important

Let's talk about installation cause that's so important

when it comes to car seats.

What's so great about this car seat

is that there's a little indicator on the base,

that will tell you when it is installed correctly.

Green means go, red means stop.

The feel of this material is super soft

and as you can see, it has a really beautiful,

sleek and modern design.

Now the Uppababy Mesa is compatible

with the Uppababy Vista and Uppababy Cruise strollers,

or if you're using this with another stroller,

adapters are available.

The down side of this car seat is the price point.

At $300, it's definitely on the high end of the car seats.

And, something to consider, is that this will hold

your baby from four pounds to 35 pounds,

and up to 32 inches.

So bear in mind your child will grow out of this

within the first couple years.

of a higher price point and wants a

sleek, modern design, definitely check out

and today we are looking at the Peg Perego Siesta.

I think this is kind of like the Lamborghini of high chairs.

One of the unique features of this high chair

is that it's fully reclinable up to nine different positions

which is great if you've got an infant 'cause they can

actually rest while you're in the kitchen preparing dinner

or you can actually have them recline all the way back

and bottle feed them while they're in the chair.

The height can be adjusted to nine different positions.

So this is really a chair that can take your child

from infant through the toddler years.

Even the footrest is adjustable and there's actually

three different positions that the footrest

can be adjusted to.

Another feature I really love about this chair

is the cushioning, it's super, super plush

and it's easily wipeable, so it's still easy to keep clean.

The liner of the tray is fully removable

which is great because you can just pop it straight

into the dishwasher and make sure it gets nice and clean.

And, the tray itself can also be taken

completely off the high chair which means

that you can actually roll the high chair

up to the dinner table so that everybody can eat together.

This high chair is really easy to move around.

Right now the wheels are in a locked position

which means that the chair is very stable,

it's not going anywhere.

However, there are these buttons on the sides

where if you press them down it releases

the lock on the wheel which makes it easy

to slide back and forth.

You can roll it from one room to another.

Another great thing about this high chair

is that it's fully collapsible.

So, there are buttons on the sides

where you can push it in and this comes all the way down,

so it becomes really compact and easy to just slide

into a closet when you don't need the high chair.

This high chair is $300 which is not inexpensive,

but if you think about the fact that this chair

truly can go from birth all the way to toddler years,

it's really a worthwhile investment.

The Peg Perego Siesta is a beautiful high chair.

It's durable, well made, extremely flexible

that will take your baby from birth to toddler years

and it is ideal for families that want

the best of the best and they're willing to pay for it.

that because this is adjustable here

and because the side is also adjustable

as your child grows the seat will adjust

to them to keep them safe at all times.

Now because you're gonna have this car seat

for a long time, you're gonna be taking

your child through many different phases,

whether it is potty training or car sickness

or even just the plethora of snacks

that your child is going to eat

in this car seat you wanna make sure

that you can clean it.

What's so great is the fabric can be removed and washed

as well as the cup holders here.

The downside of this is that it is

a convertible car seat, so you're not

gonna be taking it in and out of the car

like you would an infant carrier

and it's certainly not gonna be

strapping into any strollers.

But, if you're making the investment

you know that you're gonna have this

for up to 10 years.

This is great for the parent

who wants to make a long term investment

and wants to set it and forget it.

It's gonna take them from infant

basically until they go off to college.

All training plans tend to include cardiac routines.

One drawback to this diaper bag is that,

because of its size,

it might be too big for an everyday bag.

If you have more than one kid though,

it's actually really useful,

because you can put supplies for both kids in a single bag.

has loads of storage, a lot of pockets.

It is, I think, the perfect bag for the parent

who wants to be prepared for anything and everything

when they're on the go.

2018 Christmas Daily [ENG SUB] | COPTIC BINDING - Duration: 20:59.

Hello, welcome to the channel. In today's video

I'm going to show you how I made my Christmas diary. This is a very

simple album where the protagonists are the paper and

embellishments that I used in addition to this stitched binding that

is known as Coptic binding. The supplies that you will need are:

I'm going to use this collection of Christmas by Lora Bailora that has

all these complements, foam letters, wood veneers, these numbers to indicate

every day of the journal, stickers

letters and more embellishment stickers , these special papers like this acetate and

this vellum and the papers with a very interesting

design. I will also use two cardboard rectsngles 6 x 8 inches or

15 x 20 cm and these papers from the collection for the covers

besides the rest of the papers for the interior booklets

to make the inside of the album we're going to make some booklets for which

you need to cut 10 sheets of double-sided patterned paper

which are 12 x 8 inches, that is the width of the paper x 20 centimeters

fold in half at 6 inches or 15 centimeters

do this with all the papers and make booklets

of two sheets each one introducing one of the folded sheets inside another

this way you get 5 booklets

now cover the lids

As the rectangles measure 6 x 8 inches cut the papers both the ones

for the interior as those for the outside 1/4 inch smaller or

about half a centimeter less so that you have a margin for all

the sides of the cover

if you are measuring in centimeters you will have it 14.5 x 19.5 cm

and now cover the chipboard rectangles with white textured cardstock

I am using the back of the collection of papers by Lora Bailora

that can be used for this purpose but you can use any cardboard

that you have. Cut it leaving approximately a margin of

1.5 cm on each side (3/4 inch)

and use liquid glue or white glue to stick it to the chipboard

I recommend you use this type of glue to stick the paper to this

type of chipboard since double-sided tape does not usually work very well in

this case

we glue the chipboard centered on the cardstock

and cut off the corners as you see in the image leaving about 3 millimeters

from the corner, add some glue on these flaps

and stick the long sides first smoothing well with the bone folder and then

the short sides

once covered with the cardstock, adhere the pieces

of paper, in this caseyou can use double-sided tape

because you're sticking paper with paper

glue it leaving the same margin on all sides and

smooth well

and glue the other piece of paper at the back

you can use tape on the edges

but for the interior that will be in contact with the cardboard

use again liquid glue

and here you have your covers and interior booklets

you can add the acetate and the vellum of the collection between the pages

to add a different touch in some booklets

and now let's start with the Coptic binding, for this

to bind we are going to use this thread that is the one that is used to

crochet and a needle that is thick enough to fit the thread

You can also use a curved needle that will make your job much easier and it is

specific for binding, although in this case is not essential. Measure

a sufficient amount of thread I measured approximately 5 times the

length of the booklet multiplied by 2. I recommend you not to use an excessively long thread

if you run out of thread I'll show you how you can

join two strands. Begin by passing the thread from the inside of one of the

booklets and leaving some thread of margin, then pass the thread

from the outside in by one of the covers and take it out through the spine

and now pass the needle below this thread

to make tis kind of loop and reinsert the needle

from the outside to the inside of the booklet. At the beginning as the sheets are still

not fixed it will cost a bit

but try to make the thread strong

make a double knot with the thread that you left at the beginning

and cut off the excess

continue to the next hole from inside to outside of the booklet

and pass the needle again from the outside of the cover

take the needle out by the spine and pass it below the stitch that

you just made

again put the needle from outside towards the inside of the booklet

and proceed in the same way with the rest of holes that are left

go to the next hole from inside to outside,

then from outside the inside thrugh the spine

take the needle out through the spine

pass below the stitch that you just made

and enter through the same hole

continue this process until you have finished with all the holes

of this first booklet

when you get to the end the last hole

take out the needle by the spine, pass through the last stitch but instead

of taking it through the hole of the same booklet, take

a new booklet in the corresponding order and introduce the needle

from outside to the inside of this new booklet

pass through the second hole

and now pass the needle between the two previous booklets

and turn inward through the same hole

continue sewing this second booklet the same way that

you did the first

and when you get to the end join the rest of the booklets the same

way. If you run out of thread, leave a margin

enough to start the next one, pass a new thread through the

next hole and make two knots with the

previous thread that you left

cut off the excess, tighten the thread and continue sewing

the same way

this type of binding can seem a little complex

but once you're doing it you'll see it is easier than you think. When

you reach the end and you only have one booklet and the outer cover left

take the booklet and the cover together,

introduce the thread from outside towards inside the cover leaving the

booklet without sewing in the middle

passed the thread the same way as before

through the middle of the two previous booklets

and now we introduce it through the first hole in the booklet that you had

left unstitched

pass through the next hole

passed the needle between the two previous booklets as usual

and now inward through the cover

from the outside to the inside

pass the thread below

and inward through the hole of the booklet you had left

as you see in this last part you are sewing the last booklet and the

cover at the same time

when you get to the end introduce the needle through the last hole of the

last booklet

make 2 knots

pass the thread below and cut the excess and you already have your journal

fully bound with this particular stitching. The fact of passing the

needle through the middle of the two previous booklets gives you that

braided look of Coptic binding

and now you only have to decorate the cover

with a cardboard that came with some embellishments of the collection

make this polaroid type frame, if you have a die you can do it more

easily with it

trace the outline of the frame on a piece of craft foam both inside

and outside

and cut it out leaving about one millimeter inside the lines

cut the inner square the same way

also a millimeter from the line

cut also the outline of the frame out of a piece of vellum

and glue these three elements

stick the vellum to the cardboard

and then the craft foam

this way you get a little volume

adhere this frame with liquid glue to your cover

I'm going to stick these foam letters of the collection that say christmas journal

and embellish with the rest of the elements

and that's how it looks already decorated with enamel stickers, etc. Inside of

the booklets I will include the numbers of each day to

document my Christmas and once I place the photos I'll finish

embellishing the interior

that's how the Christmas journal is finished, I hope you like
