-I got to say, before we get into "Last Man Standing,"

"Toy Story 4" trailer -- teaser trailer

came out this past week, and everyone's talking about it.

It blew up on the Internet.

12 million views like in, whatever, two days, three days?

-Yeah, yeah. -I am so excited about this one.

Can you tell us anything or not really?

-I was looking it up with my kid backstage.

And Hanks said it best.

Of course, he always says stuff best.

But the last scene of that movie was --

I couldn't even get through it.

And I thought there was pages after it.

And I read it, you know --

I had to turn around from looking at it in the studio.

I said, "This is..." It was so emotional.

It's a "Scarlett, I don't give a damn" moment.

-Really? -You know, Hanks says it,

of course, better because he's, you know, Tom Hanks.

Always gets --

The whole movie, literally, I'm going,

"Woody, watch out. Damn it, Woody. Watch out.

Woody! Woody! Woody. Woody? Woody?"

-That's it. That's the whole script of "Toy Story 4."

The one and only. But it is good?

-It is so good. These guys are genius.

It's so deep and moving and a wonderful plot.

I can't give anything away.

It's about different kind of toys that you're not --

They really will surprise you with the toys they come up with.

Characters came back. New guys in it that are great.

Keanu Reeves has got a great part.

Actually, a little inside story.

Even he said -- Gentle, wonderful guy that he is.

"This sounds too much like Buzz Lightyear."

And his character does have an edge to that.

And the guy said -- So, we calmed him down a little bit,

and they reminded me his toy is only that big.

And I said, "Well, Buzz ain't that big."

I mean, of course, Woody's bigger

'cause it's Tom Hanks, you know?

Woody's a cowboy with no groin, so, you know, everybody...

You've seen it. I didn't design the toy.

Buzz has got all his stuff hidden

so you don't know what's going on.

-Do you ever hang out with Tom Hanks?

Like, in real life, do you get together?

Two humans and look at each other and talk to each other?

We've become really good pals because of "Toy Story."

-And you go out.

-We go out to these weird old -- like old lady luncheons.

We go, "Sit closer. Sit closer."

We end up sitting...

-But do people freak out and recognize you guys?

-Generally him. I'm just some guy with him.

You know, it depends on who just got out of which movie.

But, you know, lately, you know, sometimes it's --

Like, in New York, no one can figure out

really where I come into their lives.

It's different shows.

One guy here yelled across the street, on Fifth Avenue,

"Hey, uh, uh, tool belt!"

-Tool belt! -Tool belt.

And I go, "Yeah, yeah." I don't know.

"Vice grip!"

And I just start throwing out tool names.

-Tool names. Vice grips. -Vice grips. Come on.

-Screwdriver! -Allen wrench!

Come on, buddy! -Tool belt.

Well, I mean, now, here in New York

at this time of year, you're Santa Claus.

-To some kids, yeah.

[ Cheers and applause ]

-I mean, come on.

-Well, I got an older daughter and a young one.

The young one, she was precious. I tried to warn her.

"We're gonna see this movie,

but I want you to know it's a movie.

Your dad plays characters."

We did have permission from the real Santa

to go to the North Pole and take pictures.

But she sees the movie, gets in my lap,

and she's all over it, crying that I had to leave the boy,

Charlie, 'cause I went back to the North Pole.

Then I have to explain to the kid,

"Now, I don't want you going to school

and telling your classmates your dad is Santa Claus."

-'Cause he's an actor. -'Cause he's an actor.

And I am literally the last guy in the world

who should be Santa Claus.

And I -- Because I don't like kids all that much.

I don't. I'm not going to hurt them.

I don't say inappropriate stuff. Just don't like them.

-You just don't -- Yeah.

-The original "Santa Clause"

was a little darker, written by two comedians,

and I actually shot and killed Santa In the original movie.

And he fell off the roof because I thought it was a burglar.

And he gives me the card. The whole movie starts.

But the kid actually starts, "You just killed Santa."

I said, "He shouldn't have been on the roof

when he wasn't invited."

I'm laughing so hard, but the head of Disney at the time,

Katzenberg, said, "Well, we can't start a movie like that."

I said, "Why not?" He goes, "Well, you can't start

a Disney movie with you murdering Santa."

-Well, why not? -That's what I said.

I go, "I'm a comedian. Why not? That's funny."

And I go, "You kill all the parents

in all your other movies anyway, you know?"

Don't they kill a lot of people in...

You know, they do that.

-That's taking it too far. -But I'm a comedian.

You know, years on the road, and I'm in that suit.

And I'm smoking a cigarette one day,

and I shut the director's door, and I guess --

I can't say it on air, but I said,

"You gotta keep those frickin' kids away from me!"

And he goes, "Number one, shut the door.

You got to stop saying that word when you're in that Santa suit."

And I said -- These kids -- These kids --

"You're smoking a cigarette, and these kids,

they think you're Santa." I go, "They're actors."

"They're not actors. They're children."

And I go, "So I gotta act like I'm actually Santa Claus?

These little creeps think this is actually Santa Claus?"

So these kids are out -- They're asking me questions.

"What does Santa eat? What do the elves eat?"

I go, "How the hell would I know what they eat?"

But all that comes --

What comes out of my mouth, I said, "Uh, reindeer, I guess."

-Yeah, yeah.

[ Audience groans ]

-Look. It's the best I could come up with. Reindeer.

"Why do you like milk and cookies?"

"'Cause it takes the edge off the Jack and Coke."

That's what it does.

Wrong guy. Wrong guy to be Santa.

But I loved the movie, though.

-Oh, you're fantastic in the movies.

We all thought we were at the top of their game at ABC.

Who knows how networks work?

I don't know, but it was dropped.

I felt like the last guy at the hospital.

I wouldn't let it go. I took the sets to my --

I have a little production studio on my own.

And I set up the Mike Baxter set

and did these guerilla vlogs without anybody's permission

because I couldn't let this thing go.

We had six stories in the can.

ABC said we're gonna go a different direction.

I said, "What, nonprofitable? How's that work?"

-What direction is that? -Yeah, what direction is that?

-Right in the crapper, that's a good idea.

-But then Fox picks it up?

-Fox picks it up, and the patient was, like, dead.

I was the last guy in the -- you know, at the hospital room.

I said, "The patient's got a pulse."

And Dana Walden from Fox said,

"How would you feel about picking it up?"

I said, "Wait a minute. The patient --

I see a little light there."

But I said, "Everybody has gone on to other stuff.

-Yeah, you can't get everyone back together.

-We got everyone back together.

All the crew, the most important thing, and craft service.

You got to have craft service. -Yes, that's true, yeah.

You're doing great ratings. Congratulations.

That's a great story. [ Cheers and applause ]

I'm happy that you got everybody back.

-Yeah, yeah.

-But you're also --

You're also one of the greatest stand-ups I have ever seen.

-Thanks.

-And that's how I first got to know you

and see your act and stuff.

So now you're also booked everywhere.

-Yeah, because I didn't know the show was on,

so we did a 44-city tour.

And then the show gets picked up,

and I'm going, "How am I gonna do all this?"

The only guy that does this is Leno.

I mean, Leno works everything. -A machine. He's the greatest.

-I've never seen anybody.

What he -- "Oh, what am I gonna do? I got to go out.

How do I afford all these cars?" You never drive the cars.

He's nuts. He's on my show.

-He doesn't even have time to drive them. Yeah.

-We get him on my show sometimes.

-Used to be on his show, this show, whatever.

-Do you still love doing stand-up?

-I love doing stand-up.

I did a show in Atlantic City,

which is like Vegas in a weird way.

I worked the Mirage in Vegas,

but Atlantic City -- and I wasn't even to the mike.

I literally come out, and 2,100 people in the big show room,

and I didn't even get the mike yet, and a guy goes, "You suck!"

[ Laughter ]

And all I can say was, "Let me get to the mike

and say a few things before you throw out, 'You suck.'"

[ Laughter ]

-But why not? That is -- That's New Jersey for you, man.

Yeah, they'll tell you what's up.

i will introduce you how i learned japanese language

LEARN JAPANESE LANGUAGE THE MAYA WAY

WARNING i made this video to share my experiences on learning japanese language. if there's any mistake or things you might not like, i'm sorry.

ok, first thing we need to learn anything

that is very so much a lot important is

WILL.

without great will, it will be hard for you to succeed.

get your will power ready, okay?!

in my case, i really wanted to play games, but

lots of the games i wanted to play was in japanese

so that's where my will to learn was from

so, when you got your reason,

your source of will power,

to learn,

when you start to get lazy learning, you can try to

remember again

why you wanted to learn.

and then you can revive!

relax, whatever you learned

whatever you've worked to learn,

it will be useful for you someday.

ok, secondly,

what i learned first was "hiragana" and "katakana"

do you know what it is?

it's the characters in japanese that are

more simple than "kanji"

so let's start from there

i will show you vocals, a i u e o, from each of them

after you're confident with your hiragana and katakana,

we learn deeper

what i used to learn was : visual novel games

visual novel is a genre of games that is about reading and

choosing options given

or at least that's the basic of it

and cause we're learning japanese,

what we will use is japanese visual novel

don't worry, we won't need to buy the game,

cause we can use the trial/demo version

so it's free and we can still use it to learn!

"WILL POWER"

okay, so i'll just download the trial version of the game

from its website

and we wait until it's done

while we wait, we can change system locale settings to japanese

so our computer could read the japanese characters

let's just start

just say yes by pressing the bigger button

here you see lots of letters

for me, if there's these letters with no voice, i will skip it.

so you could heard her

these are all hiraganas

if you've learned hiragana, you can read it

and then, there's kanji here.

what this, we wonder, right?

here we ask for help to the game characters

press 'log'

and press this

there's a comma here, before the comma, it's like she said

'osara'.. right?

so we get out of here

and we type...

we somewhat heard her said osara.. so we try to type it

and press space

and this came out, right?

then we go back to the game

the words are alike

that means we're correct

so then we know that it means the dishes

dish~ meaning the plates

so now we know, osara, with characters like these,

means dish, plates we use to eat

there you go

that is how i learned

and one more,

how i learned to talk is i hear them talk, and repeat them

let's go a little further

so she said, "okaasan, ohayou"

and then i repeat it "okaasan, ohayou"

there, we can learn how to talk too

that's how i learned.

"maya, i'm too lazy to do settings,

and i'm too lazy to go to my computer too,

these days everything can be done with phones, right"

ok, relax.

this technique can be applicated to other applications.

for example, for japanese language mobile games,

or maybe youtube videos,

with this, our vocab will increase,

and we can also, learn how to speak

WILLPOWER!!

yep, and that's how i learned japanese

which breaks your heart, because you love fiction.

to your problem, which is you have developed a skill

wherein you can look at the cover of a book,

and from the cover alone, you can deduce

the entire plot, all the characters, everything.

-Yeah, that's all I need.

-And you get the full experience of reading the book

And this playwright, he's like, "I want to write my first play,

but all I have is these rolls of carpet..."

"...at this -- at this carpet shop.

"So I'll write a play, and I'll have --

"I'm going to stage it so that the carpet is, you know,

rolled up along the sides and the audience can watch it."

[ Light laughter ]

And he sets it up, but in his stage directions,

he writes, "Enter from the left."

And unfortunately, the actor,

their back was to the audience the whole time

doing the monologue. [ Laughter ]

So the audience was watching this play with this carpet

and then the whole thing was done against the wall,

this backdrop of clouds. [ Light laughter ]

But surprisingly, the play was a hit.

-Oh. -And...

[ Laughter ]

-The book is just about what it's like to have a hit play --

you know, travel the country

and just become bigger and bigger,

and that's what it is, "Juror #3."

-Wow. -Yeah.

-Is, um -- yeah.

Wow, um... [ Cheers and applause ]

So the stage direction was "enter from the left"?

-Right, right. -[ Laughs ]

-Left meaning the actor's left. So from --

-But the actor got it -- oh, they -- so --

the actor entered but looked the wrong way?

-Yeah, look -- yes. -Yeah.

-What you're seeing now is what the audience was seeing.

-Gotcha. Can I -- can I --

Do you mind if I read you what the publisher says

the book's about? -Sure.

-Okay. "The murder of a woman

"from one of the town's oldest families

"has Rosedale, Mississippi's upper crust howling for blood.

"And the town prosecutor is counting on Ruby Bozarth's

inexperience to help him deliver a swift conviction."

-That seems right. Yeah. Something in there --

-Okay, so somewhere in the book --

RESOURCE PACK IN DESCRIPTION

Tap 16:9, then Media. Import your empty background video.

Tap Layer then Media to import the video of the woman. Use Split Screen or drag to resize to full screen.

Enable Chroma Key. Pick the colour of the stool. User the sliders to make it disappear. It doesn't need to be perfect.

Add the bubble video as a layer. Resize it so it covers the woman.

Choose a blending mode. Overlay or Screen may be best. We'll use Overlay.

Export. Make a new project and then import this video.

Tap Layer then Media to import the same video as a layer. Resize it to full screen (or close). (We'll come back to this.)

Tap Effect then Mosaic Blur. Download it from the Asset Store if you don't have it.

Add the Mosiac Blur effect. Turn the opacity down to a suitable level.

Tap the video layer and go to Blending Modes. Tap Screen to make the image glow more.

Play with the sliders until you get the look you want. That's it!

After you have created your slides. and recorded any timing and narrations.

add transition and animation that you want to include.and audio file you like.

You are ready to create a video file. On the File menu select Save.to ensure all your recent work has been saved

in PowerPoint presentation format (.pptx). Click File. Export. Create a Video.In the first drop-down box under the Create a Video

heading. select the video quality you want, which pertains to the resolution of the finished video.

The higher the video quality, the larger the file size. Full HD large file size Computer and HD screens.

HD medium file size Internet and DVD. Standard smallest file size Portable devices.

Click Create Video. In the File name box, enter a file name for the video.

browse for the folder that will contain this file, and then click Save. In the Save as type box, choose either MPEG-4 Video

or Windows Media Video. You can track the progress of the video creation. by looking at the status bar at the bottom of your screen.

To play your newly-created video, go to the designated folder location. and then double-click the file.

Gimp 2.10.6: Long Shadow Filter - Duration: 5:02.

In this Gimp Workshop we will take a look at the basics of the long shadow filter.

We can apply this filter to a text layer

or to an image with an isolated subject on a transparent background.

We can access this filter by going to filters in the menu bar,

and then click on light and shadow.

Here we find the long shadow filter.

Right away we can see that the shadow is cut off at the yellow dotted lines.

So we first have to make this layer bigger.

Click on layer and then on layer to image size.

The dialog box disappears, and the yellow dotted lines are also gone,

because the layer is now the same size as the background layer.

Now we can go back to filters and just click on re-show long shadow.

By default, Gimp makes the shadow finite.

Here we can save our current settings as a preset,

and clicking this icon lets us manage our already saved presets.

Clicking and dragging this slider changes the angle,

as does clicking and dragging the circle.

Or we can just type in the desired angle.

With this slider we can change the length of the shadow.

Clicking on the color brings up the color palette.

Here we can choose any color we like.

In the long shadow dialog box we have a color picker

to choose a color from the active layer.

First click on the icon, and then on the desired color in the image.

The composition is be default set on shadow plus image.

But in the drop down menu we can also choose for the option shadow only.

Or we can choose shadow minus image.

Let us go back to shadow plus image.

Clicking the preview button shows us the text or the image, without or with the shadow.

And the split view shows us one half with and the other half without the effect.

When we hold the Ctrl key and then click on the guide

it changes form vertical to horizontal and back.

We can also move the guide by click and drag.

Click the split view off again.

Clicking on style brings out a drop down menu and here we can change the shadow to infinite.

The length option disappears and the shadow goes to the edge of the layer.

The other options are still available.

Or we can choose the option fading.

The length option is now replaced by the midpoint option.

With this option we can change the strength of the shadow.

And the fourth option is fading with fixed length.

The length slider is visible again and we can change the length of the fading shadow

independently from the midpoint or strength.

We have now applied all our settings on the original text or image layer.

If we however duplicate the layer, we have even more possibilities at our disposal.

We will save our current settings as a preset, by clicking on the plus sign.

Give it a name, for instance Gimp 1, and click okay.

Now let us click on cancel,

and then on the duplicate button at the bottom of the layers panel.

After that we click on the downwards pointing arrow

to lower the copy one place in the layers stack.

Go to filters and hit re-show long shadow again.

Click on presets and then on Gimp 1,

which gives us our previous saved settings.

Change the composition to shadow minus image.

And click okay.

Now we can make the move tool active and check the option move active layer.

Click and drag the layer a bit, like so, which give us this effect.

So making two or more layers, and combining them with the options in the dialog box

gives us many creative possibilities.

On Wednesday, Emery promoted four youngsters to make up the numbers during the session at London Colney as Arsenal's head coach stepped up preparations ahead of Sunday's visit to Bournemouth in the Premier League

Jordi Osei-Tutu was one of the four that took part. That would have been a major boost to the 20-year-old defender, who impressed during the pre-season tour of Singapore, but has since been sidelined by injury
