Republicans Sell Out America To Shield Scott Pruitt From Investigations - Duration: 4:38.

Both Republicans and Democrats right now are asking the question, "How in the hell does

Scott Pruitt still have a job?"

On Thursday morning, Fox News research, their Twitter account, actually put out a tweet

listing all of the new Scott Pruitt scandals that have emerged in just the last two weeks.

So even Fox News is telling us how bad Scott Pruitt is.

And when it gets to that point, it really makes you wonder how in the world anyone can

stand up for this guy.

Yet, that is exactly what Republicans in the US House of Representatives did this week.

On Wednesday afternoon, Democrats in the House of Representatives, tried to put forth an

amendment to a piece of legislation to increase the budget for the Office of Inspector General

of the US Environmental Protection Agency.

The reason they did that is because the OIG is the office that actually investigates the

scandals that Scott Pruitt has been involved in.

And, according to recent reports, they're already out of money.

They don't have enough money to not only not investigate all of the new scandals that have

come out from Scott Pruitt, but they can't even fully investigate the old scandals that

erupted last year.

So, the Democrats wanted to give them an extra $12 million.

That's it.

$12 million.

Small amount for a government that pulls in billions, right?

Well, Republicans on the committee where this amendment was put forward, they, every single

one of the Republicans on that committee, voted against it.

They have sold out the American public, and even their own supporters, in order to protect

Scott Pruitt.

They said, "No.

The EPA OIG cannot have anymore money to investigate this man's scandals.

Yes, we know that Democrats, Republicans, and everybody in between including Fox News

is pissed off about the fact that this man has a job, and he is embroiled in scandal

after scandal after scandal, but we don't care."

Why?

Because Scott Pruitt is handing over the keys to the kingdom, to the top Republican donors

in this country.

Oil companies.

Chemical companies.

Other polluters out there.

Refineries.

Everybody who gives a ton of money to Republicans.

Even pharmaceutical companies, actually.

Everybody who gives a ton of money to Republicans is getting every thing they wanted from Scott

Pruitt.

So why would Republicans risk, you know, hurting their own donors?

Here's the thing though.

Even if we get rid of Scott Pruitt, what's that going to do?

It's going to get rid of the scandals maybe.

Maybe.

But, we're going to get somebody who's just as bad on economic policy.

I mean, it's not like we're going to get a Leonardo DiCaprio or an Al Gore type coming

in there at the EPA, saying, "Okay.

We're going to clean up the environment.

Act on climate change, because it is real.

We're going to make things right for the environment."

No.

We're going to get another corporate shill who's going to come out, help destroy the

environment, hand over everything that he can, or she can, to corporations, wealthy

Republican donors, to make sure that they keep giving money to Republicans, and that

Americans do not have a clean environment, so that they can't trust the air that they

breathe or the water they drink.

But, Scott Pruitt still has to go.

He is blowing through our tax dollars on things like pens, and used mattresses, and a soundproof

phone booth.

Three and a half million on private security guards 24/7.

When it gets to the point when you have groups, including Fox News, calling you out for your

massive nonstop scandals, then it's time for the Republicans in Congress to wake up and

stop protecting this jackass.

Because trust me, every single Republican that just voted to protect Scott Pruitt, a

man universally hated by both sides, are up for reelection this year.

I hope that their Democratic opponents make sure that every one of the voters in their

districts understand that Republicans are more willing to protect Scott Pruitt than

they are to protect the will, the ideas, and the desires of the American public.

How to Stop Wasting Time and Actually Get Things Done! - Duration: 4:22.

Help me translate this video into YOUR language! Leave [your name] here to credit yourself ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ

Hey guys! What's up?

Are you guys currently wasting time by watching a video on how to stop wasting time?

It may be ironic, but you've actually made a great decision to watch this video!

Because today I'm going to share some tips with you guys on how to stop wasting time and actually get things done

Let's start!

Identify your time wasters

Keep track of the things you do daily, even the smallest of tasks

Find out how much time you waste on social media,

video games,

online chat,

watching tv,

doing your makeup,

and other things that consume most of your time

Once you've identified the problems

you can then work on eliminating them by reducing the time you spend doing those things

or even better, stop doing them altogether

Get rid of distractions

Turn off your electronics, and other things that might keep you from working

If you really need to use your laptop to work

make sure you've turned off your wi-fi so you won't get tempted to start browsing the internet

You can also install a website blocking app on your browser, like stayfocusd

but I find that it's much more effective to cut the internet connection altogether

than to use an app which you can easily disable by a click of a finger

Or you can also create a work account on your laptop

which doesn't contain any app that might distract you from working

You can also opt to use someone's laptop or computer to do your work

like your mom's laptop, or maybe the computer in the library

That way you won't have access to the games or files you have on your own laptop

Do a data dump

Storing every task and thought you have inside your head

and overthinking things will get you overwhelmed and eventually cause you to procrastinate

In order to prevent that

you should spend 10-15 minutes writing down the things you have in your mind

or things that you possibly need to do on a piece of paper

We do this to free up our brain

This is not a to-do list

but it's something that we use to put our mind at ease

so we can then prioritize the task we need to do

instead of keeping them in our head and end up forgetting about them later

Make a schedule

You don't have to be super specific about it

and you don't need to buy a brand new journal just to make your schedule

You can simply use any book or paper you already have or even the note app on your phone

and write a list, or outline, or a simple timetable for the things you need to do

Giving yourself a timeframe will make it more likely for you to complete the task

starting from the most important one to the most trivial one

Be realistic about your plans

Don't plan to do too many things in one day

Often times we overestimate the amount of time we have to finish our tasks in one day

only to regret it later after realizing that

we can't actually spend full 10 hours a day to do productive work

That's why you have to prioritize

Start with your most important and urgent task before moving on to the smaller ones

People tend to make the mistake of doing the smaller tasks first as a way to procrastinate

and escape from their main responsibility

They then end up not having enough time to do their most important task

and they don't produce a satisfying result because they finish it in a hurry

It's better to spend a lot of time working on your main task

and spend the rest of your time finishing your smaller tasks

since they don't require a lot of thinking and energy

Create a focus period

Working for a short hour but with full focus is much better than

working long hours without focusing on your task at hand

Set yourself a stop time

For example, you can set a timer for 20 minutes to do your work

after that, you can then spend 20 minutes resting

and continue working for another 20 minutes afterward

I find that I can accomplish more things in 20 minutes if I truly focus on my work

rather than working in 8 hours with my mind wandering elsewhere

Don't multi-task

When you're doing a 20-minute focus period, you have to only do one task

or else it won't be effective

Unless you're doing something that doesn't require a lot of concentration

like working out or doing your chores, you can do them while doing other things such as listening to music

Work in a place that forces you to concentrate

It will be helpful for you to find a space where you can do your work without interruption

I've made a detailed video on how to create a perfect work or study space

and you can watch it by clicking here or follow the link in the description box below

So those were all the tips that I could share with you, I hope you found them helpful

Now that you've watched this video, it's time for you to start applying these tips and start working!

Awkwafina on 'Ocean's 8' & Asian-American Representation on Screen | MTV News - Duration: 4:21.

- When I first saw Margaret Cho growing up,

I think I was like seven years old

and I'd never seen anything like it.

And in that way, she was a spectacle to me.

You know, if you don't have someone there as an initial

inspiration you really don't think anythings possible.

And that's why I think that it's extremely important for

the younger generations of Asian-Americans to see

people that look like them on screen

because it'll make it seem possible for them.

(robotic chiming)

(slow drumming)

- 16.5 million dollars (dramatic thud) in each of your

bank accounts (dramatic thud) five weeks from now.

- That's a lot.

As an actress, and you know,

one with kind of a limited resume at this point,

I never expected that I would shoot a movie in New York

let alone that I would be playing a native New Yorker.

And a couple things really resonated with me with Constance,

she's from Queens, she was picked, plucked from that park

which I used to go to when I was a young kid.

Also, it's like, you know that whole mentality like,

what would you do to get outta Queens?

What would you do, that hustle mentality,

that having that Awkwafina also really had for a long time.

I never knew that I would go into acting,

let alone that my music would ever be a career.

It wasn't really until I was actually been

doing Girl Code that I got an audition for Neighbors

and that was like my first time going on camera

and from there I think I noticed that comedy had always

played a really big role in

everything that I did in my music

and I always knew that I was a part it

and acting tapped into that in a different way.

I don't think I internalized the oh this is

the best year of your life as well as I should have.

I think it's also the stereotypical Asian

way of taking compliments, which I can't.

But you know, it doesn't induce a little bit of anxiety.

I don't want this to be the best year of my life,

I want another best year of my life at some point

but as of yet, this is probably the best year of my life.

But you know, I also think that fame in itself,

like moments, are subjective.

People have been saying I've had a

moment since My Vag had 500 views.

It's like it's all very subjective

and I really hope that throughout this

I can retain a grounded sense of self.

I don't think that I'm going to be like blown up

but you know I think that I'm really good at

having an out of body experience, looking down

and being like oh, you actually do suck

and your life is actually pretty funny.

And I think that I can make fun of myself in such a way.

I think that's what really fuels all that.

This kind of intense self-deprecation

that will never leave me.

That's why I'm in these dope movies

but I still am just like,

you still smell like scalp so don't worry about it.

Oddly, the acting and music, it's kinda like oil and water.

They tend to become very separate

and I think with movies, every movie I do is a blessing.

So every movie that I can be a part of,

like let's do it, I'm down.

I'm gonna lend myself to it, it's a collaboration.

Whereas music that's what I do

in my underwear at night, every night.

I'll never stop.

So it's like I'll make music until

no one wants to listen to it anymore.

That's just what I've always done,

that's like my passion, my hobby.

What's something that I'm very privileged to be able to do

but also with acting it's just different.

It's a different thing.

I'll do both as long as I can.

In terms of filtering myself or censoring myself,

as long as what I'm saying is right

and it's standing up for what's right, I'll say it.

But if what I'm saying is detrimental to people,

if it insults people for no reason,

which I used to do a lot on Twitter.

My Twitter was just a garbage pile

but now I think I am more wary of that

but in that way I think it's taught

me to grow up a little bit

and just see issues what I should fight for,

what I should stand up for.

I think the role model thing it's something

that I didn't wanna accept when I first came out.

It's something that like, who wants that burden?

It's like being Batman, who wants to be Batman, no one,

especially for Asian-Americans.

What I learned very quickly is that I will be by default.

I will influence and I will impact my community

and so that's just what's gonna happen

and what you do with that is that you have to understand

that they're gonna be with you when you're doing well

and they're unfortunately gonna be a

part of you when you're doing bad.

So you have to be wary of that

and what I want out of this is I wanna inspire people.

'Cause I want there to be more of us.

I don't wanna be the one.

I want there to be so many that

I don't even stick out anymore.

(robotic chiming)

(upbeat music}

Woods Concocts Brilliant Theory That'll Convince You Pelosi is a 'GOP PLANT' - Duration: 3:32.

Nancy Pelosi is a political train wreck.

But more than just a mess on wheels, Pelosi is such a disaster, that many experts claim

she and she alone could be the reason the Democrats belly-flop in 2018.

Yes, she's that bad.

It's almost mind-boggling how detrimental she is to her own party – calling thousands

of dollars in tax breaks "crumbs" and claiming of of he BEST job reports we've

seen in decades is "bad news" for Americans.

Given all that and more, the GOP has no better ally than Pelosi, which lead actor and conservative

powerhouse James Woods to come up with a brilliant theory….

Pelosi is actually a secret plant, working undercover for the GOP!

From Bizpacreview.com

Nancy Pelosi can't stop crashing and burning.

SO much so that people are starting to wonder if she secretly turned sides and is trying

to help the GOP.

Fox Business Network's Trish Regan slammed the House Minority Leader for her epic failure

to grasp simple economics as she, once again, attacked President Trump on the booming economy.

"Hip hip hooray!

Unemployment is down.

What does that mean to me and my life.

I need a bigger paycheck," Pelosi said at a news conference as she criticized Trump's

policies.

"This isn't just about the unemployment rate, it's about wages rising in our country

so that consumer confidence is restored.

Because our economy will never fully reach our possibilities unless we increase our consumer

confidence," the California Democrat said in her clueless speech.

Her bizarre comments were enough to convince actor James Woods that Pelosi is, indeed,

a "GOP plant."

"I got a little note for you," Regan said on "The Intelligence Report" on Friday

after playing the video clip of Pelosi.

"Consumer confidence is actually doing very well.

We are actually nearing an 18-year high.

So there goes that argument!"

The Conference Board's Consumer Confidence Index reached 128, rising 2.4 points in May,

for the highest reading in more than 17 years, according to the organization.

"Unemployment is at an 18-year low so when she says, 'Woop-de-do, unemployment is at

such a low,' it IS woop-de-do," Regan mocked.

"We should all be thrilled because we haven't seen levels like this in 18 years."

The unemployment rate dropped to an 18-year-low of 3.8 percent, as 223,000 jobs were added

in May.

Regan went on to point out the benefits of the tax cuts and the bonuses extended to employees,

as well as the latest numbers showing the increase in available jobs.

"Someone needs to tell her to stop, for the sake of the Democratic Party," Regan

joked.

"She has no solution to economic challenges.

She doesn't care that the economy is improving.

She doesn't even understand that we are at an 18-year high when it comes to consumer

confidence! "

Regan concluded with a simple realization about Pelosi.

"She doesn't understand economics and people vote their pocketbooks." she said,

noting that if she were a Democratic strategist she would be working hard at presenting a

platform supportive of the average American and the improving economy.

"I'd want to find new blood.

I'd want to find people that understand economics, I'd want to find people that

understand what it's like to have to pay the bills each week," Regan said.

"Nancy Pelosi needs to go back to school and try Econ 101."

Rep. Matt Gaetz DROPS BO*B On Paul Ryan: Today Was the First Time I Heard Lawmakers Calling For It! - Duration: 4:50.

Rep. Matt Gaetz DROPS BOMB On Paul Ryan: Today Was the First Time I Heard Lawmakers Calling

For It!

Ever since Speaker of the House Paul Ryan announced that he was retiring from Congress

the question remained about who would replace him.

The obvious successor is Rep. Kevin McCarthy who is a part of the leadership and the apparent

next in line.

He has even been endorsed by Rep. Steve Scalise of Louisiana who also is a part of leadership.

But growing concerns over establishment politics have been growing.

As such, an increasing number of people have been calling for someone else.

Rep. Jim Jordan is one who is being considered who many want to replace Speaker Ryan but

not if the establishment has anything to say about it.

The Gateway Pundit reported,

"Rep. Matt Gaetz (R_FL) went on with Lou Dobbs on Wednesday and called out Speaker

Paul Ryan for defending the deep state and refusing to defend Republican congressional

investigators.

Earlier today Paul Ryan defended the Obama FBI for spying on the Trump campaign during

the 2016 election.

This was unbelievable.

Rep. Matt Gaetz: There is no defense today for Paul Ryan siding with the FBI and Department

of Justice against those of us in the Congress who are working for transparency and accountability…

We need the Speaker to be an institutionalist of the Congress and not to be a defender of

the Deep State…

The silence from our very own Speaker is deafening.

He needs to speak up.

He needs to join us in a call for a second Special Counsel.

And for goodness sakes, stop defending the FBI's collection of intelligence on the

Trump campaign when they refuse to give us the documents to show whether or not they

broke the law…

As you know I run in the conservative circles of the House.

And I have never up to this point heard a single person talk removing Speaker Ryan from

the speakership.

Today for the first time I was hearing colleagues say, "Well if Speaker Ryan won't stand

with us in this fight over the essentials of our democracy, not weaponizing the intelligence

community against a presidential campaign, do we need to look at other choices?"

So I think that remains a lingering question."

While Roll Call reported,

"Before the House took last week off, members of the Intelligence Committee received a classified

briefing on the ongoing Russia investigation.

That briefing apparently included clarifying details on the FBI's handling of the informant

in Trump's 2016 campaign.

Both Ryan and Gowdy, who have now publicly defended the FBI's actions, were at the

meeting.

Gaetz, a freshman from Florida, was not.

"Based on what I have seen, I don't know what the FBI could have done or should have

done other than run out a lead that someone loosely connected with the campaign was making

assertions about Russia," Gowdy said last week on CBS' "This Morning."

"I would think you would want the FBI to find whether or not there was any validity

to what those people were saying," Gowdy said.

Ryan backed Gowdy on Wednesday in response to a question at the GOP's weekly leadership

team press conference.

"Chairman Gowdy's initial assessment is accurate," Ryan said.

"I want to make sure that we run every lead down and make sure we get final answers to

these questions."

While many conservatives such as Rep. Gaetz are displeased with Speaker Ryan, so is Rep.

Jim Jordan who is a prominent member of the House Freedom Caucus.

Rumors have circulated on Capitol Hill that he has been lobbying fellow members and privately

courting other members of Congress to support his bid to replace Speaker Ryan when he retires.

However, some opponents have indicated that his lack of fundraising success in the past

would not make him a good fit.

Something that House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy has been very successful at.

Yet, some have continued to encourage Rep. Jordan, especially more conservative members

of Congress.

Several staffers, aides, lawmakers, and political strategists have indicated so to high profile

news outlets like CNBC on the condition of anonymity.

However, if this is true Rep. Jordan is not giving any indication of what he plans to

do as he refused to return comments when reached out to regarding the issue.

Yet in a separate interview, he told PBS that he would like to be a part of the conversation

regarding the Speaker of the House position when it comes up.

What do you think about this?
