Youtube daily Jun 11 2018

In this video, we're going to fill in the gaps in your content marketing strategy with

a seriously cool content gap analysis.

Stay tuned.

[Intro Music]

What's up guys, it's Sam Oh here with Ahrefs, the SEO tool that helps you grow your search

traffic, research your competitors and dominate your niche.

And today I'm going to show you how to do a little bit of incognito work on your competitors.

More specifically, you'll learn 3 hyper-effective content gap strategies that should give your

content marketing and blogging efforts a friendly boost in traffic.

So let's jump right in.

The first content gap analysis we're going to do is to find keywords that your competitors

rank for, but your website isn't ranking in the top 100 Google search results.

So I'll go to Ahrefs' Site Explorer tool and here, you can enter in a URL or domain.

So, in our case, since we're looking for new blogging topics, I'm going to do a prefix

search on Ahrefs blog.

Next, I'll click on the Content Gap tool in the left sidebar.

Now, when you're looking for new keywords to target, this top section here is where

you'll need to enter in the domains or URLs of your competitors in organic search.

So here, I'll put in moz.com/blog/, yoast.com, and backlinko.com.

If you're not sure who your competitors are, then you can use the competing domains

report right here within Site Explorer to find websites that are ranking for similar

keywords as your site.

Now, for Moz's blog, we'll have to make sure that the mode is set to prefix, since

we only want to find keyword topics from their blog.

And you'll see right here that their blog posts all have URLs prefixed with /blog/.

Now, as for Yoast and Backlinko, we can leave it as a domain search since their blog post URLs

are just domain.com slash slug.

And for our own blog, we'll have to make sure it's also set to "prefix" since

our posts are all under the /blog/ subfolder.

Now, before we hit the "show keywords" button, let me add a little bit of context

as to what we're searching for here.

In the first part, we're asking Content Gap to show us keywords that any of these

websites rank for, where at least one of the these sites ranks in the top 10 of Google's

search results.

And the final condition is that this site, which is our blog, doesn't rank at all in

the top 100 Google search results for that keyword.

But I want to make our results even more relevant, so I'm going to change the "show keywords"

filter from "any" to "all" of the below targets.

So we'll only see keywords where all 3 of our competitors have pages ranking somewhere

in the top 100, but our own site is not seen there.

And in almost all cases, I recommend leaving the "top 10 ranking" checkbox checked.

Now, I'll run the search.

So you can see here that we have 492 keywords where every single one of these sites are

ranking in the top 100 Google search results and at least one of them ranks in the top

10 for a target keyword.

Now, the ones that immediately stand out are the keywords "seo copywriting" and "video seo."

You can see that all 3 of our competitors are ranking decently high, which tells me

that they have made some kind of intentional effort to target these topics, and probably

for good reason.

These would both be perfectly relevant for our business too, so I'll make a mental

note to create content around these topics.

And from here, I can click on the SERP dropdown to see the top 10 ranking results and even

click here to see the top 100 results!

Also, there's are a couple really valuable shortcuts that will help your workflow.

If you click on the caret beside any of these numbers, you can get some quick stats

on the page plus shortcut links to your favorite reports

like the backlinks report or organic keywords report.

And you can also click on any of these numbers to open the respective page.

Now, if you find that there are too many keywords in here, you can narrow down your results

even further by clicking the plus button and adding more competitors.

And you can add up to 10 competitors here, but I'll just add one more and run the search again.

And you can see that the results set has shrunk to 423 keyword ideas.

Now, if you're on the other end, and you're not getting enough keyword ideas, you can

change this filter from "all of the below targets" to something like "at least 2

or 3 of the below targets" or "any of the below targets."

So I'll set this to at least 2 of the below targets and run the search again.

And now we're exponentially higher at over 8,000 keyword results!

And if that isn't enough for you, then you could also uncheck the top 10 Google ranking

requirement.

Then you'll see we're at just under 48,000 results, which is just bananas!

But you'll also find phrases that you probably have no interest in targeting.

So I recommend starting narrow and then broadening your search from there.

Pretty cool, right?

If all of your competitors are going after these keywords, then why wouldn't you target

them when all of the data is right in front of you?

Alright, the next way you can use the Content Gap analysis tool is for a content refresh.

And by content refresh, I'm referring to updating your old articles to a new and current version.

So, we've seen significant boosts in organic traffic when we update old content on the

Ahrefs blog. So this is definitely a blogging strategy that I highly recommend.

So the way this strategy works is to search for other relevant pages that are ranking

high in Google's search results for your target keyword and then to find sub topics

that you can include in your new and up to date post.

So, for example, in our organic keywords report, I've filtered down the results for keyword

terms between positions 5-10.

And you can see that we rank in position 7 for the keyword phrase "link building."

If I click through to our article, you can see that this was published in 2016, so it's

probably due for an update.

So from here, I can click on the SERP dropdown here and copy and paste a few of these URLs

in the top section of the Content Gap tool.

Finally, I'll paste our link building guide in the bottom section where it says "But

the following target doesn't rank for."

And again, I'll start with the "all of the below targets rank for" filter and broaden

my search from there, if needed.

And boom!

There are about 30 keywords here which tells me that there are actually quite a few things

we might be missing in our guide.

And from the looks of this report, I can see that if and when we update this post, we may

make note of "SEO links", "link building campaigns", and possibly have a short section

on explaining what backlinks are.

How awesome is that?

From what I've seen, this feature is unique to Ahrefs where you can do a content gap analysis

on exact URLs and prefix searches.

Now, you don't need to limit yourself to only old content.

You can do this exact same thing with one minor tweak that will basically have content

gap write an entire outline for a new post you want to create.

Just leave this bottom section blank and boom!

You now have a list of 83 keywords that are highly relevant to this topic.

And we know this because all of the top ranking pages for the parent term, "link building"

are also ranking for these other relevant keywords.

Alright, so the last use case I want to share with you today is one regarding consolidating content.

Now, there's a good chance that you've written about the same topic on more than

one occasion.

So rather than battling with your own pages in Google search, you can compare two or more

of your articles, see which one is ranking best, and then merge the posts together.

So I've already put two URLs in Content Gap from our blog.

The first one is about growing website traffic and the other is about increasing website traffic.

So basically the same thing.

By leaving this setting to "any of the below targets" and searching for only keywords

where either of these pages rank in the top 10 search results, you can see that the first

article is performing much better in Google search.

So from here, we would analyze the second article and see if any points from here could

be integrated into the more dominant piece.

Then, we would redirect the less dominant article to the one that seems to be better

serving the searcher's intent.

Now, I'm sure you can see how this simple little tool can provide powerful insights

for your content strategy.

So give content gap a shot and find new topics you probably should be targeting.

Use content gap to update some of your old content.

And use content gap to create new blog posts with this data-driven strategy to maximize

your organic keyword rankings.

And that wraps up this video on data-driven blog topics.

Tony Robbins: THE SECRET TO SELF CONTROL (Amazing Motivational Speech) - Duration: 26:07.

the difference in people the difference

in performance the difference in the

final result the outcome is it usually

dependent upon skill is that what makes

one person better than other yes or now

how many seen someone with an

unbelievable innate skill get wiped out

by an athlete a person a business

individual who clearly had less skill

how many seen this happen say I it's our

ability to maximize we said on day one

leaders are transform organizations you

want to grow this company you want to

transform this company leaders do it a

leader doesn't mean everybody else

follows you it just means that you have

a higher what a higher standard than

anybody else does will make you the

leader is when you have a higher

expectation not of other people anybody

can do that of whom of yourself so if

you want to know what does it take to

take things to the highest level what's

gonna take to change my business

permanently not temporary you go home

and you can install some of these

strategy skills tactics tools insights

and see a significant change but if that

change is gonna be a lasting company of

value that keeps growing then the things

you've learned here have to become the

standard for your organization not

something you did for a period of time

whenever you look at somebody and say

why are they more successful anybody

else it's always because of step one

they've raised their standard if you go

back home and you want to change your

life in any way personally

professionally or your company is boring

as it sounds as stupid as it needed

sound to my status meant all this time

this energy this money and you're gonna

tell me to raise my standards yes cuz

even though that's not sexy it is the

only thing that creates lasting change

you want to dye it and you can lose

weight but will that person eventually

do they'll go where back unless they

raise their standard now that sounds so

trite and stupid and positive thing

kyoro school but the truth is it's the

truth so maybe I can language it away

that's more compelling to you or a more

simple what does it mean we say razor

it means you turn your shoulds in the

muss the difference in people is that

they turn their shoulds in the must the

things that you used to say I should do

you do your sheds when it's convenient

when it's comfortable when it goes your

way but when something is a must not to

other people but a must to you do you

find the way to get it done yes or no so

the difference in people is what's there

must another word for that is what's

their standard every personal issue in

right now our bodies are reflection of

our physical standards they are not a

reflection of our desires many people's

people have a desire for more energy or

a better body or stronger body or more

fit body we don't get our goals together

mas the ones that are the must become

how you are and guess what it shows up

in your rituals when it's a mosque you

have different rituals different things

you do consistently when you must have

your body a certain way then you should

or you'd like to or you ought to

how many thought I'm talking about here

to say I so whether we want it or not

the only way to change your body

long-term is change what the must is for

you now I'm gonna tell you what it

should be who the hell am i I'm just

saying maybe it's time for you to take a

look as many times you set the standard

a long time ago or you lost the standard

completely because most of us based our

standards by our environment who you

spend time with is who you tend to

become so if everybody around you is

gained a little weight or everybody

around you is you know constantly tired

after a while even if you had high

energy you don't want to make fun of

them or tease them or make them feel bad

so gradually subconsciously you lower

your own Saturn just a little bit and

that little bit is that old metaphor

overused but true you take up frog and

put them in boiling water what's it

gonna do jump right out but if you put

them in and turn the water real slowly

over time it'll boil to death that's

most people's lives isn't it it's

usually because you haven't remembered

the power of who you spend time with who

you spend time with us who you become

so when you want things that's great

about this five days as you found people

from all over the world who were all

absolutely committed to go day and night

night and day literally sometimes the

food sometimes without but whose

standard was I'm here to maximize Who I

am what I'm about what I'm gonna take

home what I'm gonna create that raises

your game number play against some of

your better than your skills gonna go

down play against something better than

you just to stay on the court the game

has to go up want to change your life

raise your standard want it raise your

standards the most get around where it's

better surround yourself with people

playing the game much higher than you

are so just to be around them your game

has to rise

that's part of what we try to do we come

into a company we create that by raising

the standard amongst them or you got to

do it by yourself but you got to do it

how many grades me on the say I and it

starts with whom it starts with us so

raise the stain I remember when I met

Michael Jordan for the first time that's

why I'm still with the Bulls if I asked

him I got a chance to do some coaching a

bunch of people and they got a new

system because of this and I said

Michael I said how is it you do this oh

you're the best that's ever lived at

this stage got that same question Wayne

Gretzky an interesting Wayne Gretzky I

read someplace and he gave me the same

answer ice ask them the same thing

you're not the fastest you're not the

strongest

you're not you know you don't how is it

you're the great one when you're not the

fastest the strongest the quickest he

said well Tony appreciate the compliment

but he said I think one of my advantages

as most people skate to where the puck

is and I skate to where the puck is

going the power of what participation he

knows the pattern with Jordan his

standard was I asked him he said they

dope Tony everybody you know I said what

makes the best is that natural ability

is a talent as a skill as a god-given as

it strategy what is it he said Tony I

think I can save this to you without

it's saying like hyperbole he said I had

got unbelievable natural skills but he

said study my history and you'll know I

am Who I am I did not make the high

school varsity team when I was a

sophomore in school high school I got

cut he said I had a lot of natural

talent but the greatest gift of my life

was a coach who said you're not on the

team and I looked at him I laughed

you gotta put me on the team of the most

talented guy out there he said no you're

not

he said you have a lot of natural talent

but you have no heart no absolute

commitment no real Drive you're not on

my team and it just questioned and

finally he negotiated he said look you

want to be on my team next year

simple leave me every morning before

school for a one-on-one practice and

I'll take this raw talent and I'll teach

you discipline I'll show how to raise

your standard and if you show up the

whole year I'll guarantee a spot next

year and if you don't probably the same

outcomes could happen when you try out

next year they couldn't believe it

and guess what mostly don't know Michael

Jordan got up every morning and drilled

and drilled and drilled and didn't get

to be on the team and next year he's on

the team and he was not only good he was

great guess what his career exploded

when he lost again championship to

Detroit and he was on the bus he said he

was crying in the back of the bus

physically crying pissed off and all the

other players they hadn't done their job

and something inside of him snapped and

realized crying whining blaming

everybody else is not the problem I need

to raise my coz he realized that's what

did it for him originally and you know

he did that year he lifted weights like

never in his entire life he decided he

was going to dominate every person every

person every floor every place every

spot in the country he's gonna be

stronger than anybody he practice like

he'd never practiced in his life at all

by the way he won how many NBA

championships how many in a row three

retired came back when hovering around

three never anybody in history would

even dream of such a thing especially

after retirement that's the power of

raising your standard but guess who he

competes with Michael told me one time

he goes Tony if I competed with other

people I wouldn't be Who I am

he said my competition is with the best

I can be they're trying to compete with

me that's why I beat them because

they're competing with where I am but

I'm competing with where I can be think

about that mindset think out your life

would be different if you raised the

standard what you expected from yourself

now you're people yourself to that level

how things could shift it's all about

changing your shirts too

it's all about going back and saying

this is how it's gonna be

it's like when garyvee was here and he

was guys who say man I'm working so all

right man I work from 9:00 to 6:00 yeah

what are you doing from 8:00 to 8:00

p.m. to 2:00 I am that's when you master

your craft I always say to people it's

what you practice and private they'll

you'll be rewarded for in public people

say oh my god you know you have this

great ability this great skill they

didn't see all the hours this class this

course I know tons of the stuff like the

back of my hand but if you talk to my

team who's exhausted they'll tell you

we're up to 4:00 a.m. almost every night

to be able to figure out how to provide

for you a life cycle and get it to be

real so you can think about Nike and

I've given you accurate information

about Wednesday really get to young

adult when they fall down we had to make

phone calls read financials do all kinds

of stuff we did all that stuff we're

doing all these things we've

accomplished so much I figure how to

make it even better that level of

commitment is what makes you great at

what you do and gives you that little

edge that makes you stand out from

everybody else and that standing out is

what makes somebody absolutely own an

industry or brand themselves like nobody

else in the world that process is what

this is about

raise your standard when you got to go

home you gotta say where are we gonna

raise the standard what am I gonna take

that's be my should and make it absolute

musts where are we gonna do that as a

team and how we're gonna pull it off now

who here is never fun way your income

right now is a result of your standards

as well it's not the industry and it's

not the economy who here's making more

money today they need to made 10 years

ago when you cease your hands how many

feel like it's not enough today let me

set your hands and how could that be

real estate so cheap now computers are

cheaper than they were then you get so

much more for your money because once

you achieve a level who knows what

happens you immediately you pose the gap

you create a new gap EPS because that

was makes a scrub who's willing to go

back to where you were 10 years ago not

many some of you you would because it's

gotten worse than when I was 10 years

for you but the majority there's no way

see once you're fortunate enough if you

don't like cleaning out so once you're

fortunate to have somebody clean your

toilets you will not be doing that again

unless you like that you'll find

somebody loves clean threads and you'll

pay them hand

some lien cuz now to go back and do that

once you've had the privilege not having

to do that it's a different game it's a

gross metaphor but who gets what I'm

talking about here say I once you have a

mosque you find a way to get to it every

one of you this room is earning what you

must earn not a dime more don't get me

wrong you might have big goals big

desires but it's not a must for you

because even the economy crunches if

it's a must you will find the way

how many glutes me on the say I see when

I was a muster me to get at one level I

did I've never I'm it was a must for me

to finally make a million dollars a year

I had my son Jared gonna be born I swore

I would never have a child unless I was

financially sat and I wasn't financially

set and he was on his way I went from

38,000 dollars a year to making a

million dollars a year in the next

twelve months that was all BS in my head

I thought all my growing up all the pain

was because my parents fought because

there was no money they would have

fought anyway because I believe that

though I raised the standard made it

happen and I made a million dollars a

year for seven straight years even

though I dealt five more companies even

though I was helping more people I made

the same amount of money guess why that

was my must at some level above that

seen greedy that wasn't like I had this

incredible lifestyle in the magical home

at this place called the Del Mar castle

overlooking the ocean and Del Mar

California but I was on the road staying

at the Ramada Inn in Milwaukee with shag

carpeting and smelly you know dead

animals on the wall on my birthday and

my maid she's back at home in the castle

going on mr. Robins happy birthday I

can't help thinking you it's so

wonderful all miss Robins it's so

beautiful here I was sitting on the

jacuzzi overlooking the ocean oh yes oh

I've lost 22 pounds I can't tell you

it's been so amazing I get on your

Stairmaster and I watch Oprah I love

your gym mr. Robbins I'm thinking she's

got a multi-million dollar lifestyle

how many can relate to this in some way

right so I went from 38,000 a million if

I changed my income it became an

absolute what he wants nothing about

money it was about growing because I

knew to make more I'd have to help more

people

I'd have to expand and I came to this

goal I wanted to feed all the people in

San Diego that were homeless first my

goal was

of homeless people my goal was everybody

I said if I go from 38,000 to a million

I should they go from a million of three

million in three years and I did in 12

months

I found the why I found the reasons that

a different rpm but it became a must for

me not a shut you're meeting your must

my friends maybe it's time to change

your months

some people's muster survive somebody's

must is to be okay some you must a step

free them some people's must have more

than it could possibly spend some those

monsters take care of everybody around

them

whatever your must is you're gonna get

it when you leave here get clear on your

must or raise your what step two real

fast I'm gonna do it real fast who here

has ever raised the standard and you get

out there you go I'm gonna go do this

now I'm committed I'm gonna change this

I'm gonna make that happen I lose 50

pounds I'm gonna take my company the

next level and you're all excited

and then all sudden this voice in your

set head goes who are you kidding

who's never had one of these raise your

hand say I so once you raise your

standard you got to get certainty behind

it you can sustain it and that means you

got to change your limiting beliefs you

got to change your limiting beliefs and

who has limiting beliefs by the way who

everyone does so you got to become aware

of it and you get or destroy it now how

to do that honestly if you've been DBW

know how if you haven't come join me in

San Jose or someplace else and come

through the experience when you change

you let me believe everything changes

because as you believe so is it done

unto you if you believe you're right you

believe you're wrong you're right goes

whatever you're certain about you find a

way to support it I always teach people

exercise try this and if you know it do

it fresh look at this room real fast for

everything that's brown in this room and

give you a test what's brown quick look

for Brown look for brown brown brown

here burnt clothing brown all your eyes

tell me everything you saw in this room

that's that raise your hand if you see

more brown and you husband red and say I

open your eyes now look for red look for

red look to read look to read look for a

red look for a red look everywhere for

red look for red raise your hand if you

feeling more red this time raise your

hand say aye

why cause you're looking for it because

whatever you focus on you'll find in

fact you'll find stuff that's not there

how many saw beige called it brown just

to feel successful

how many saw burgundy called it red just

to feel successful see once you believe

something is a certain way and you need

for certainty you'll change things to

meet that belief let me show you in two

seconds flat while the rich get richer

and the poor get poorer I call it the

success cycle real fast dry yourself

four squares put them up on the screen

here you'll see so do this take a quick

look you'll notice you've got the word

potential up on the left hand square up

in the right hand square is the word

action bottom right is the word results

bottom left is the word belief or

another word for that would be a sense

of certainty potential action belief

results and notice there's arrows in a

clockwise fashion where they just keep

feeding each other over and over and

over again so again it's potential

action results belief one other word for

that would be certainty

now you ever notice how rich people tend

to get richer and for people to get

poorer and I don't just mean rich in

financial terms I mean people that are

rich emotionally should know so happy

people tend to get happier and depressed

people tend to get more depressed how

many found this to be true to say that's

because the power of momentum and what

I'm about to show you so let me show you

something here what's the potential of

any human being you tell me quit

unlimited do most people's results

reflect that true potential yes or no no

way why cuz most people aren't taking

enough what but is it possible take a

lot of action and still get lousy

results what if you got a Salesman that

works for you and they walk out and they

knock on the hundred doors and they say

you wouldn't want to buy anything from

me would you or they don't say that

verbally but they say it non-verbally is

that going to affect their results yes

or no so it's not enough even to take

enough action because when we believe

it's not gonna work or were uncertain

does that affect how much of our

potential we tap yes or no see if you

don't think it's gonna work you're not

gonna put out a bunch of your energy

when you think it's gonna fail and by

the way when you're not sure you tap a

little potential do you take little or

long

who action when you're not sure when you

think it's not gonna work

you take massive action or little action

now when you take little potential with

little action what kind of results you

get little lousy results and when you

get lousy results what does that do to

your belief you'll see I told you it

wasn't gonna work told you was a waste

of time and then by the way when you

have lost belief how much more potential

you take more or less if it's possible

you tap less potential more or less

action less and what happens be results

they get even what and now they got

worse results was that Duty belief and

by the way now you see the current

economy isn't it true everybody out

there is going oh my god the results are

so bad it's gonna get worse in the

future so I better pull my horns there's

less potential so I'm not gonna push as

hard and I can take much action oh my

god I'm getting lousy results with a

little potential action oh my god it's

gonna get worse that's what creates a

recession depression whatever you want

to call it how do you change that by the

way can it work the opposite direction

what would happen if something inside

you gave you so much certainty inside of

you that you felt absolutely certain

that recession was your friend that the

worst economy for you was the greatest

time on earth and all you're gonna do is

manage your state and apply your

fundamentals and immerse state coach so

you don't get off the target keep taking

action and you can own your business and

you go to other people's businesses how

many believe that by the way now say I

when you have that kind of certainty are

you gonna use more of your potential

when you go home or less which one's my

friends are you gonna take less or more

action when you are certain and you use

lots of your potential with massive

action what kind of results you get

massive action gets massive results what

kind of release do you get now when you

get better results you go home use your

car store you go home and you take one

of these techniques you get a different

response you go home and you stimulate a

new source of profit or income you go

home and you add a service you overdo

anything and it works you bring us here

it works now by the way I had a home ax

we went in there

thank God we went in there because they

took our stuff and it looked like it

wasn't working

remember that because some people there

didn't want the change to happen so we

had to take in fire it was working

we knew you can't take ass you can't

sell that seed and reap nothing

so you uncovered what was really going

on you have to watch for the same thing

three people on the size of your

organization but bottom line when you

get great results belief gets stronger

now you're totally certain are you gonna

use more or less potential my friends

which one more I'm gonna take even more

what good an even greater what even more

certainty and now what happens your

business and now you have a different

momentum and so your economy does not

have to reflect the economy you get to

create your economy you get to decide

whether you freeze the death or ski or

snowboard it's winter but you can have

the best time of your life it could be a

sunny beautiful magical time but you got

to do is you got to manage this process

in order to do it you got to change your

limiting beliefs and this week has been

about doing that by giving you so many

tools and examples you'll be immersed

but I promise you when you go home all

this is going to be tested a because all

the stuff that's waiting for you after

being gone for five days be all the

people that you work with little

limiting beliefs whether you have one

employee or two because you're up in the

army of one or two people or whether you

got 10,000 and so you have to be able to

implement this by the way is I'm gonna

go sell you bring us in if we can help

do you think we could help yes or now

yes or now bring us in we'll do it or

get your team together and find a way to

make sure this momentum goes in the

right direction make sense this is the

must if you have this high standard but

you don't really believe because the

Momentum's in the wrong direction having

the tools will be worthless

that's where certainty that's where

everything else we teach that's what I

do in my events that's what you guys

have been there before that's what you

got to bring to the table one of the

five keys for integrating this number

one you got to go home and raise your

lot come on guys raise your 1 which

means turn your shirts into

step number two you got to go out and

change your limiting one find anything

else limits you and destroy it what's

the fastest way to destroy it you can do

it very quickly

by producing the results in your mind

over and over again or why do you think

I get people to walk on fire cause they

think it's impossible when they walk

this fire men's lead might say I can do

it but when they get from that fire it's

2,000 degrees burning hot coals it gets

their full attention and suddenly they

have a state change and when you get

yourself in a state where you can storm

through fire it's not about fire walking

the state your indication of the La

Crosse fire is the metaphor for anything

it used to stop you to fire your life

and by the way when you cross fire and

you're on the other side doing something

you want so it was difficult or

impossible if that easy your brain goes

what else can I do that I thought was

impossible it's unbelievable it's not

intellectual it's emotional Plus after

fire walking cold calling is not a

problem they get the idea ladies and

gentlemen all right so what we're really

talking about here is changing your

beliefs now here's the third key if

you're gonna get maximum results

you got a model what works we brought

you for five days and nights here models

of what works go back and get them now

here's where the challenge is how many

got tons to do in your normal list of

things to do when you go home I may go

off to do say I how many have a lot of

outcomes you gotta go after say I how

many on the same amount of time you're

out before say I so in your business if

you need something to get done you get

it done because it's an absolute what or

you hire someone to get it done hire us

hire someone else get somebody inside

but are these things you're going home

with Mustard's which one do whatever it

takes

sad one of the money you know the money

not to forget us hire some buddies an

individual who knows what they're doing

and put them in there leverage yourself

the only way you're gonna get the game

bigger is by taking a little bit of what

my friends risk but that means get

yourself some resources be resourceful

enough to get the resources what's great

about this

what is this opening what is this

creating what's possible what have I not

seen this is gonna make me see what have

I learned from this what can I learn

from this what am I willing to do to

still have it the way I want that's the

fourth step you get you intensify and

you innovate so then there's a final

first step and that fifth steps really

simple my friends and that is step up

and give step up and give more than

anyone else could possibly expect the

ultimate transformation happens when you

stop trying to get and start give

whenever you're at your best you're

giving I remember so vividly driving in

my car my Volkswagen bug and I was

struggling and I was 19 years old

I was driving on the freeway in San

Gabriel Valley a 210 freeway I'll never

forget and it's midnight and I'm

frustrated I felt like I tried

everything I had these big gifts like

the one you just saw and nothing was

going my way and I was frustrated and I

kept thinking how come I'm not getting

what I want cuz all of a sudden it just

hit me on the freeway I pulled over the

side it was almost midnight no cars

really around grab my journal I wrote I

still have the journal to this day for

when I was 19 years old

full page I wrote the secret to living

is giving and I realized why I wasn't

doing well cuz I all focused about what

I wasn't getting I was not focused on

what I was not giving in the whole game

changed

Jeep Wrangler Rugged Ridge 15" Reflex Stubby Antenna (1997-2018 TJ, JK & JL) Review & Install - Duration: 2:14.

Hey guys.

Today I have the Rugged Ridge 15 inch reflex antenna.

This is gonna be one of those small mods that will make a big difference.

So your stock antenna is long and it's silver and unattractive.

And while you're out on the trail, it can get caught up on branches or any low-hanging

obstacles, flinging it around causing damage or even just being downright annoying.

This shorty reflex antenna will be a solution to those problems, low enough so it dodges

all of those obstacles.

And if it does take a hit on the trail, its durable enough to do that and just reflex,

hence the name, right back into place.

Now, the install is gonna be very simple at one out of three wrenches.

So let's take off that stock antenna and get this one put in place.

So your stock antenna will have a fitting on the base for a wrench and it's gonna be

a 10-millimeter.

So what you have to do is fit that on there and loosen it up and it will just pop right

off.

So your new antenna will come with two different fittings, and depending on which model you're

attaching your new antenna to, it will depend.

But we are going to use the shorter fitting.

So all you have to do is thread in the smaller portion into the antenna.

After that's threaded in, you can move over and thread in your new antenna.

At the moment, this is gonna be right around $20.

And I think for a very small mod like this, it's at the perfect price.

Now, on the page you do get a couple of variations between length, but this is gonna be a moderate

size that's gonna give you a sporty look.

So with $20, I really think you can't beat it.

So that's it for my short review and install on the Rugged Ridge 15 inch reflex antenna.

Sometimes You Need to Help Your Developers Out - Duration: 5:03.

Hey, this is the Daily Overpass, my name is Eric and I make apps!

Now today, I wanna talk about how sometimes you need to help your developers out!

So, yesterday I was in the office all day long from morning until around 11 o clock

at night, which for a weekend day is not the best, it's not ideal!

I should probably be at home spending time with family.

but I had this one project that is just going on a bit too long.

The developers who are working on it are struggling with a bit of things.

We have this one bit of code that does some calculations and it has to be fast and it

has to be accurate and we're just not getting that right.

And I keep sending it back to them and they keep changing it and changing it and changing

it so I thought - I was all mad - I'm just gonna come in and write that thing myself!

And I thought "I'm just gonna re-write the whole app from scratch" - this is usually

what I do.

I usually go from ultimatums, right?

When I get stressed out and everything.

Then I looked at it and I said no, everything they've done is good, it's just this one little

bit.

So then I thought I'm gonna sit there and I'm gonna just work through this, and once

I started working on the algorithm, I could see the complications that they had.

Like, a lot of things that I suggested they do was a bit too slow, so basically I'm just

sitting there coding away.

But for the first few hours I was upset, because I shouldn't have been here doing that, but

once I accepted that hey, I'm doing it, then everything was fine!

And I was actually kind of enjoying it!

I was doing some cloud functions in firebase so it was kind of cool going through and making

it all work and I'm just sitting here coding away and I realise how much I really like

coding.

I really like solving complicated problems!

So a lot of times people will say either you hire somebody to do the code for you so you

can focus on the business, or you do the code yourself and then you don't have to worry

about dealing with other developers and then it's whatever.

But, for me it's always been in between.

So, when I looked at the developers code it wasn't - and I've been looking at it throughout

the weeks and reviewing it - that's the value that I add to all the projects.

So when I look at it I think everything's clean, everything makes sense, everything's

there, but it just wasn't running the way that it should, so going through there.

And that was like, if you've ever worked with other developers, you know that sometimes

it's a mixed bag.

sometimes you get developers who are very methodical and everything is laid out, and

you get developers who are just like spaghetti or whatever.

So I could go in there and see what they're doing and say ok, this is where I need to

change the code and then I can write a bit of functions there too and work on the really

complicated problems.

And some people say "why don't you just do it?", but my thing was - if I'm gonna have

to this, I might as well do the whole project myself, but that doesn't make sense.

Usually what happens is the developers work on 80% of the project, 90%, there might be

a few issues here and there, a little bit of finessing.

Maybe the client comes back and asks for something last minute and you think "I don't wanna do

all the documentation for that so I'll just do that myself and go in there and do that

last little bit".

And then it's all about the cost of the project.

so, if I was gonna do the whole project myself, and I mean like the log in forms, all the

little tedious bits that are just meat and potatoes in every single application, considering

how much money I make an hour, that would be a very expensive project.

But if I can get those guys to do all of it without any issues then it's a much less expensive

project, but if it's something where I have to come in and spend a few days on towards

the end, then it's a little bit more expensive.

And when I quote, I always have to take that into consideration.

It's always - if I have to come in, how much time do I think I'll have to do this?

What is the complexity of this?

And as long as we can stay within budget.

So despite the fact that I'm moody and "I don't think I should have to be working on

this" - in the end I got it all done and it is very much a case of, like I talked about

medics and surgeons.

The surgeon always comes in and he does his work and he says "patch that up for me" and

he leaves.

He doesn't do all the little stuff.

and the same if you talk about any business, they say you should be doing the stuff that

other people can't do, as a business owner.

If it's something only you can do, that's what you should be doing.

If it's something you could delegate, then delegate it.

And delegating in code is easy too, but you have to make sure that you have really good

developers and they have really good, clean code that you can read and you can go in,

and if you have to work on it yourself, then you can.

So anyway, that's just my thing today.

I was upset because I shouldn't be in, but once I accepted that I was, then everything

was fine!

And working with good developers is really hard, but don't expect them to do everything.

Anyway that's it for today, I will talk to you guys again tomorrow!

Pompeo says Trump recognizes N. Korea's desire for security - Duration: 6:05.

As we have been doing all day, we begin with latest from Singapore, where the North Korea-U.S.

summit will be held.

Our Lee Ji-won is standing by in the host nation... as part of our special summit coverage

team.

Let's connect to the International Media Center right now.

Ji-won.

What do you have for us?

Daniel, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo held a press briefing about two hours ago

and he confirmed that U.S. President Donald Trump recognizes North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's

desire for security and that the U.S. is prepared to ensure that a North Korea free of weapons

of mass destruction is also a secure North Korea.

Pompeo also mentioned that the U.S. and North Korean delegates who had been negotiating

over at the inter-Korean border village of Panmunjom for the past few days met again

in the afternoon,... following their seventh meeting this morning,... and that the two

sides were still meeting as he spoke.

Pompeo said the discussions were progressing quickly.

"They are in fact moving quite rapidly and we anticipate they will come to their logical

conclusion even more quickly than we had anticipated."

And while correcting a New York Times report, Pompeo emphasized that the U.S. has been working

for over three months with more than 100 experts multiple times a week to address technical

and logistical issues in dismantling North Korea's nuclear programs.

He also said that the experts include people with specialized knowledge of North Korea's

nuclear, chemical, biological and missile programs.

He also said that the U.S. remains firm on what it wants from the North.

"The ultimate objective we was seek from diplomacy with North Korea has not changed -- complete,

verifiable and irreversible denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula is the only outcome

that the United States will accept."

Pompeo also stressed that sanctions will remain until North Korea completely and verifiably

eliminates its weapons of mass destruction programs.

And that if diplomacy does not move in the right direction, those measures will increase.

But he also said President Trump is open to expanding access to foreign investment and

other economic opportunities for North Korea if they take the right steps.

Ji-won there seems to be a lot still left to settle,... with the summit prep talks still

being carried out.

Can you tell us more about that?

Sure Daniel.

The details of the agenda for tomorrow's summit were being discussed in the meeting between

America's ambassador to the Philippines and its former nuclear negotiator Sung Kim...

and North Korea's Vice Foreign Minister, Choe Son-hui.

And judging from Pompeo's briefing,... it seems like the two could be getting closer

to what they want.

But to tell you what they were stuck on,... inside sources have said that the discussions

seem to have hinged on the notion of North Korea's complete, verifiable, irreversible

denuclearization,... or CVID.

Unnamed sources say the U.S. seeks to get a commitment from the North to CVID in writing,...

but Pyongyang is protesting strongly against the phrase,... because it sees it as portraying

the regime as a defeated country.

But with Pompeo having said that they are reaching a conclusion faster than they had

expected,... many are expressing careful optimism for tomorrow's summit.

Now,... of course,... the result of that summit have a direct bearing on security on the Korean

Peninsula and on future developments in inter-Korean relations,... so the South Korean government

is **on the ground and is keeping a close watch.

Our Oh Jung-hee has this report.

Negotiations between North Korea and the U.S. are continuing until the very last minute,

but that ain't anything to worry.

That's according to South Korea's presidential office of Chungwadae... at a press briefing

in Singapore on Monday.

Speaking to the international press, the Seoul governtment reassured... the fact that North

Korean leader Kim Jong-un and U.S. President Donald Trump are sitting face-to-face, in

and of itself, is a big leap forward.

"The fact that the leaders of North Korea and the U.S. arrived in Singapore yesterday

marks the official beginning to the summit and is highly significant.

We expect a fierce tug-of-war to continue between the two sides until tomorrow's summit

ends, but we also expect some good outcome."

During the 7 decades that have passed since the end of the Korean War,... there's been

no single North Korea-U.S. summit.

And that is why, Seoul says, it's all the more crucial for both sides to build and confirm

confidence in each other... at this first-ever summit.

An unnamed official from South Korea's presidential office highlighted... it is one of Pyongyang's

biggest goals to be recognized as a sincere partner for dialogue.

The South Korean government is cautious in its comments on the Pyongyang-Washington summit,

but it's keeping close tabs on the developments,... dispatching a special team of officials on

the ground.

The team is to deliver the latest developments of Kim-Trump summit to the home government,...

while bringing and releasing the South Korean government's own response as well.

All that will happen at Korea Press Center -- a press center Seoul set up in Singapore

separately from International Media Center.

"As for now, there's a low possibility that a three-way summit involving South Korean

President Moon Jae-in will happen after the North Korea-U.S. summit ends, but Seoul says

it will stay ready for all possible scenarios.

Once the results of the summit is out, Seoul is to release its official response here,

at the Korea Press Center.

Oh Jung-hee, Arirang News, Singapore."

That's all we have from Singapore as of now, and we'll be joining you again live from early

morning tomorrow for the much anticipated historic meeting between North Korean leader

Kim Jong-un and U.S. President Donald Trump.

S. Korea on close watch for Kim-Trump summit - Duration: 2:00.

It's the eve of the long-waited summit between North Korea and the U.S.

As the results of that summit deals directly with security on the Korean Peninsula and

goes in sync with future developments in inter-Korean relations,... the South Korean government

LEGO City Arctic Air Transport review! 60193 - Duration: 8:35.

hello hello this is the LEGO City Arctic air transport set from the 2018 Arctic

exploration sub-theme a lot of folks have asked me to review this one in

particular so let me start out with the biggest thing the quadcopter

this is a bit of a forward-looking design as I don't think anything quite

like this exists in real life at this sort of scale just yet at least it's not

successful and commercially available it's just about the size that I expected

it to be from looking at the pictures but I actually like the design of the

struts here a little bit better than I thought

they have recolored these angled plate pieces modified plate pieces into orange

and they sandwich those from above and from beneath to create a nice little

structure there and they also offset the rear rotors vertically just a little bit

so these pass over you can choose how you want to line these rotors up I just

alternated their position from one to the next as you go around so this one

would spin this way this one would spin this way this one spins this way this

one spins this way but I think in the instructions they have you putting them

all the same direction just uh yeah let's figure out how you want to do that

yourself think in in the real world dude make the most sense to have them

alternating but you know use this particular specialized cockpit canopy

piece many many times up to now here we have it in orange and

the orange and the dark blue go together pretty well this looks pretty slick from

the sides they use just a few stickers with this one and this one here being

the most important to get that nice smooth transition there you do want to

put this sticker as far down into the left or down and to the rear as possible

on this one as far up and to the front as possible to eliminate any blue gap

around there but overall I think this thing looks pretty good I like the the

v-shaped tail back there and this actually these surfaces have have

stickers on either side you can bring these up if you want gives it a slightly

differ look we've got skids here and you see a

hook hanging out from the bottom I originally thought that this knot here

was going to rotate all of the rotors but these are just free free-floating

this just free spinning this just operates the winch and it's just a very

simple mechanism it allows you to pick up anything that would fit into a normal

leg Oh hook you've gotten this piece many many times as for interior space

there's very little of it unfortunately very little useable space inside of this

thing so for the most part what you see from the outside is what you get and

what you can use there's a cockpit that holds a single person there and they

have a printed control panel in front no control sticks and that's just it

there's no there's no storage space back here none of this is usable space it's

hollow back here but it's not usable it's not designed to be opened up easily

so that's really it you kind of finish with the features of this a little bit

more quickly than expected perhaps I like the overall design the do wish that

you could do a little bit more with it as it is its intended just with this set

to pick up this build here now this is an ice block that is holding on to an

ancient saber-tooth cat that has been perfectly preserved there this is just

the simplest build but again as with other sets from this line I think this

little build here it looks pretty good for what it is this one's really really

simple but you know there's a little hoop to grab with the hook and I guess

you just take this back to base before you crack it open to get the animal out

which is perfectly fine makes a lot more sense to to carry all of this back to

someplace where you no more care can be taken to very carefully extract the

animal but pull that now just take out one single piece and the animal just

comes straight out you've already seen this previously but I'll show you it

again it's a new mold for the head there just has the same articulation as other

lego big cats with the head being able to go up and down and also the would be

rear legs are able to rotate forward and back with the built in tail there and

that allows you to put this into a reared up position so if you want to

think of this as coming to life for some reason you certainly can and you're

encouraged to I mean those eyes are open so if you want to put that kind of into

your your fanciful play you can couple studs on the top you can make a minifig

right it if you want you can add a sample to it you can make it carry cargo

whatever you want to do I think that like I did a pretty decent job with this

and I think the color schemes is pretty nice with the medium nougat

and then the printing done in dark brown the last major feature of the set is

this Arctic ATV so it just has oversized tires to get good traction and to be

able to go over ice and snow and rough terrain well this is a printed piece

rather than a sticker here on the front they have been doing one single piece

like that in every city sub-theme or most of the city sub-themes for a while

now this is a simple build but I like it a little bit of studs on the side

construction for the front just enough it has some character

I like how low the figure is able to sit there and it has several attachments on

the back for a minifig accessories it comes with those three there with the

circular saw and the two ice picks so figures can get down and do some prep

work to get the ice block ready for a transport out here are those two figures

up close and they do use the same legs between them there's no print on the hip

pieces but obviously torsos are different that lighter blue color is

dark as your and it's a very striking color one of the more striking colors in

the Lego palette I believe right now and also one of the newest to be added I

think it looks pretty good guy on the Left actually has a hoodie that you see

is actually down right now too bad there's no alternate face for

that guy would have been good to get a proper human face for him

the alternate face for the lady either but there are main faces I think are

appropriate enough the guy on the left is intended to be wearing a balaclava

with a pair of goggles over that so here we are almost at the end of the video

already which is surprising to me but then again that only comes with 277

pieces so I guess it shouldn't be too complex I like the design of the

aircraft I do wish there was some usable cargo space in there the mechanism for

the winch only takes up you know just a small little sliver of it and there's

not a lot of structure inside either it's very hollow so it's too bad that

you know you couldn't make use of that but probably with a little bit of

customization freeing up some of the stuff on the top will allow you to get

easier access in there this little build is good this build here is fine as

simple as it is I think the whole thing looks pretty good it's just not very

complex that's all but it really comes down to whether you like what you see

the one thing that I don't like that I see is the price in the US which seems a

little bit excessive is so price to part ratio why is it looks bad I think it

doesn't look as bad when I actually see the volume of stuff that you get here

you know this this vehicle is is fairly large the the aircraft there does use

some fairly large pieces so I think the value is not too bad but definitely

could have been better and it looks like it's much better in other countries but

I think I showed you everything there is to see about this one so I will just

move on to the next video and talk to you then thanks for watching I'll catch

you later

you

Neighboring countries of Korean peninsula closely monitor how N. Korea-U.S. talks would turn out - Duration: 2:11.

Countries neighboring the Korean peninsula are paying extra close attention to how the

talks will turn out.

Park Ji-won turns the spotlight to how China, Russia and Japan are rushing to avoid being

left out.

Ahead of the historic summit between Pyongyang and Washington,...

China seems to be maintaining its long-held special influence over North Korea.

The Chinese government has offered North Korean leader Kim Jong-un a special jet,... for him

and his personal entourage to travel to Singapore.

The jet,... equipped with secure satellite communications,... has been used by top Chinese

government officials, including President Xi Jinping and his personal aides, when traveling

abroad.

China will be looking to play a significant role in the current situation with North Korea.

"China, as a main party of the issues of the Korean peninsula and a signing party of the

armistice agreement, will continue to assume its appropriate role."

Russia is also working to restore relations with Pyongyang.

North Korea's state-run media reported earlier this month that North Korea and Russia have

agreed to hold a bilateral summit later this year,... commemorating the 70th anniversary

of their establishment of diplomatic ties.

Russia's foreign ministry conveyed its support for Pyongyang's will to denuclearize.

Japan, meanwhile,... is closely monitoring the situation surrounding the historic talks

between Pyongyang and Washington,... by sending a delegation of senior officials to Singapore.

The delegation, which includes the head of Japan's National Security Council Shotaro

Yachi, arrived in Singapore Sunday,... and is tasked with gathering information on the

results of the talks.

"It is paramount that we urge the U.S. to push for a complete resolution of the North's

nuclear and missile issues, as well as abductee issues."

With the Korean Peninsula's neighbors closely watching the summit,... the international

power dynamics in the region could soon change,... based on the result of the summit talks.
