-I just came from a -- 'cause I was in --

while you had your little vacation, I was in Cleveland.

-Oh, yeah? -It had about three people at my

show because they love Lebron, apparently, out there.

-Oh, that's right. -And that whole situation

kind of made me mad, you know, because I watched Lebron

work so hard.

You know, that man, he has so many points.

51 points, eight rebounds... -He's unbelievable.

-...eight assists and you still lose the game?

-Yeah. -His reaction, when J.R.

did that, everybody's reaction was like, "What are you doing?"

I mean, and the thing is, like, I look and I go,

"you put him with -- what he's doing is incredible,

'cause he's playing, like, literally by himself."

He could play with any five guys.

He could pick a homeless dude off the -- and go,

"Hey, you want to play?" "Yeah, I'm down.

What position I'm in?" [ Laughter ]

He could ask The Roots. Say, "you want to play?"

Quest would be like, "Yeah, I'm down."

[ Laughter ]

"Hey, crackhead, you want to get in?"

"Yeah! Just pay me five dollars a season!"

[ Laughter ]

-He's -- -And you can't beat these --

it makes me mad because I feel like Golden State is,

like, cheating at this point, 'cause, you know, they too good.

It's like it's not even Golden State no more.

Kevin Durant joined the damn "Space Jam" monstars.

[ Laughter and applause ]

He joined the monstars. -The monstars.

-Then you got Steph Curry who is, like, genetically made

in a laboratory.

[ Laughter ]

How you dribble like a brother and shoot like a white boy?

I'm sorry. [ Laughter ]

Like, nah, nah, we ain't having it.

Me and my people, we ain't having it.

-But you have a lot to look forward to.

This is very exciting. This Thursday is

the season premiere of "Marlon." -Yes.

-Season two, congratulations. -Thank you so much.

-Right here on NBC. [ Cheers and applause ]

-Thank you. -It's a big deal.

It'll be great. -Thank you.

-Also, it's your daughter's graduation.

-Yes. On the same day, my daughter

is graduating. She's going to USC

and I was very -- my baby. -Holy, mack --

[ Cheers and applause ]

You got to be proud. -I'm very proud of her.

I walked the campus and everything and I seen, like,

the cafeteria's nice.

That's important, 'cause they had, like, real good food.

Like good food inside this. -What do they have at USC?

-Well, see, I went to public school, we didn't have that.

We had -- they had like good, like, fruits.

Like, we had that fruit cocktail with like the one cherry in it.

[ Laughter ]

-I remember that. -She had, like, a dragonfruit

and all kinds -- I was just so proud.

And then the ladies that was serving the food was actually

good looking, 'cause I remember going to public school

and college and they, nuh-uh, them ladies --

you know them ladies that sit there and say, "what you want?"

She got that mayonnaise on her mouth, "what you want?"

[ Laughter ] "Uh, nothing."

"What you want? You want some mashed potatoes?"

[ Laughter ]

"No thank you." -Mashed potatoes.

-And then so I walked the campus and I got -- I thought it was

a wonderful thing and I'm so proud of her.

And then I seen the tuition.

[ Laughter ]

And I was like, "you may want to go to USC-C-C-C-C."

[ Laughter ]

-USC Community College? -Community college is

a good education and there's community there, baby girl.

-USC-C-C-C-C.

-And I'm looking forward to -- 'cause she's graduating and when

they graduate I like to do this thing where I embarrass them.

So my daughter goes -- she goes gets her diploma, I'mma yell,

"I knew you were gonna be somebody!

I knew you were smart!

Not dumb like your momma said, I knew it!"

-You would never do that. You were never -- ah, no.

-I do it -- I've done it every graduation.

I'm telling you, I've done it so much that if I ever win

an Oscar, I know they going to do the same thing to me.

"I knew you could act, Daddy!

I knew you wasn't a dumbass like all the directors said!"

[ Laughter and applause ]

-Congratulations to her. I know -- I know she's got

a proud dad. -Yes.

-And let's talk about "Marlon." -Yes.

-To catch people up, what has happened -- it's a tricky,

good show and who's your co-star again?

I know -- -Essence Atkins.

-Essence Atkins. -Diallo Riddle who is a good --

-Oh, he's fantastic. -Used to be a writer here.

And it's great having him on the set, 'cause it's like having

another writer. He's, like, always

pitching me stuff. "What do you think

if I do this?" I'm like, "Oh, God,

just act, will ya?" [ Laughter ]

-He'll have to write and act, yeah.

But you -- -This year, the show,

we're taking it to a different direction.

Last year was like dealing with divorce, now it's dealing with

how do you be friends with your ex.

And this year, I try to wingman with her and, you know,

it's like, how do you evolve?

'Cause our show is not about divorce, it's about a family

that's breaking up, but at the same time, how do you keep

your family together?

Because it's important to always have love no matter what

your situation in your life is with your ex.

You made them babies, you might as well be family and raise them

and have a good time. -That's what I'm talking about.

I want to show everyone a clip. [ Cheers and applause ]

Here's Marlon Wayans in the season premiere of "Marlon."

Take a look at this.

-Oh, it looks bad! Oh, oh, oh, oh!

Oh! He! Could! Go! All! The! Way!

Oh! Touchdown!

Ah, game over!

Oh, you are having a terrible day.

You are losing in Madden and in life.

[ Laughter ]

-These controllers are too complicated.

I miss ColecoVision.

-I told you, listen, the triangle makes them jump,

the circle makes them spin, and the X makes them kneel

during the national anthem.

[ Laughter ]

-Marlon Wayans, everybody.

Season two of "Marlon" premieres this Thursday night at 9:00 P.M.

Jane Krakowski's Broadway Debut Was Very Dangerous - Duration: 3:36.

-It's lovely to see you as always.

-You as well.

-Especially the day after the Tonys.

-Yes. -Tonys a big deal for you?

-Well, it's the Super Bowl for my people.

-Okay, gotcha.

So does that mean there's -- the whole day is built around

making sure that you catch every second of the Tonys?

-I did not miss a second.

Although I did watch it from home last night

in my cozy pajamas, which is a great way

to watch an awards show, um...

if you're not nominated, especially.

-Yeah. -Because it'd be weird

if I was hanging out there for no reason.

But, yeah, it was the first time I'd actually watched

an awards show with my son, who is seven.

And we were just having, like, this hilarious time

making commentary and rooting for our friends to win

and watch all the different numbers.

So it was -- I'm trying to get my son

as addicted to it as I am.

-Well, it is wonderful in that it does kind of --

especially for people who can't come to New York,

can't see the shows, like, it's a great way to see

sort of what the best of the year was.

Was it something you watched growing up as well?

-Every year. -Okay.

-And this is when I -- you know, if you were lucky on our block,

we had like a VHS machine, so we could tape them.

And my father used to tape every Tony Awards

and I would learn every number that they did live.

Because back in the day, they used to do, like,

one number from the show.

Now they do, like, little montages.

So it's a little harder for you to sort of do

an entire montage in your living room by yourself.

But, you know, initially it was just one number.

So, like, I would learn every word from the number

they did from "Evita"

or all the different musicals that were popular.

And I loved it. It's what, you know, inspired me

and made me want to try to do this.

-And was your first Broadway show "Starlight Express"?

-Yes. Thank you so much! [ Cheers and applause ]

Thank you. -Bravo. Bravo.

-Yup, yup. -Now, I was saying backstage,

I saw this show, and I --

For those who don't know, this was a show where --

and there you are.

You were on roller skates the whole show.

-Yep. [ Cheers and applause ]

-"Starlight Express." There you are.

It was about a train,

but everybody was on roller skates.

-Correct. That's how we -- we were all trains.

-Yeah. Obviously. -We were all train cars.

I was the dining car. -You were the dining car?

-We matched. -I guess that makes sense.

Now, you -- so... -[ Laughs ]

-But the audition obviously --

singing was probably a big part of it.

But roller skating must have been at least half.

-At least half. -Yeah, I mean --

-I think a higher ratio. -Yeah.

-And I think -- I mean, it was my Broadway debut.

I'm so thankful. We all have to start somewhere.

And I was so thankful to get in it.

Directed by, like, Sir Trevor Nunn.

It was, like, when the first sort of English invasion

of musicals were happening.

So I was really thrilled to be a part of it.

But I will say, I think part of the reason I got in

is because a lot of people who were on Broadway regularly

would not even audition, because it was more roller derby

than Broadway musical. -Yeah.

-So, like, a lot of the playing field of the audition

wasn't there.

So like, I was one of five girls that was like,

"Yeah, I'll be on roller skates."

-That's great! [ Cheers and applause ]

Did you -- were there -- did you ever have dicey moments?

I mean, this does look like you have some speed there.

-Yeah, there was a lot of dangerous moments that happened.

And that's why a lot of people didn't audition for it

and why we lost a lot of cast members.

[ Laughter ] -Sure.

-Yes. True dat. Um, we -- [ Laughter ]

There was a bridge that, like, revolved

and went up in the air.

Well, we were skating on it during one performance,

and they had Plexiglas doors.

Some of the actors, 'cause the lights were so dark

and sort of like a rock n' roll musical,

didn't see that the door had closed by accident,

wasn't meant to be closed.

And they went flying off the bridge two flights down.

-Oh, my God.

-They never came back to the show.

-They did not come back to the show.

Jane Krakowski's 7-Year-Old Son Loves RuPaul's Drag Race - Duration: 3:39.

-You mentioned your son. He is graduating from 1st grade?

-1st grade tomorrow.

It's his little graduation ceremony.

-What is a graduation ceremony --

What are you expecting from a 1st-grade graduation ceremony?

-I believe they will say, "You are all now 2nd graders."

-[ Laughing ] Yeah.

-And all of us will be crying and saying, "Yes!

You did it!"

-Now, what is your son into as a 7-year-old?

-Well, recently, my son was on a playdate,

a very unusual playdate, I thought.

I wasn't at the playdate, 'cause it was at the other --

They do this thing at my son's school that he really loves.

If you're going to someone else's house,

you can sign your child out, and they go home with

the other nanny or parent,

which makes them feel very independent.

And so he loves that. -Of course.

-So, I had signed him out to go to this playdate

with a few girlfriends that he's very close with in his class.

And during the playdate, I had received a video.

And the mom said, "Oh, they're having so much fun.

They're doing a little fashion show right now."

So, she sent me the video.

And the two girls in the playdate come out

looking like beautiful princesses.

And then my son comes out wearing

a full princess dress, as well.

He used purple marker to make eye shadow and contour.

And he gave his best walk and then he went, "Fashion!"

And, so, I said, "Where did you learn this?

Like, what was your inspiration for this?"

And he said, "Oh, it's because I watched 'RuPaul's Drag Race.'"

[ Cheers and applause ]

-That's fantastic. -It's amazing.

-Yeah.

-And for a moment, I questioned my parenting,

but then I said, "No.

This is amazing that, first of all,

he picked up some good tips."

-Yes. Exactly.

-Second, I'm proud that my son knows

"RuPaul's Drag Race" and can, like, compete.

-Yeah. Exactly.

-I mean, he could have flipped over a table,

like the New Jersey Housewives.

I might have been a little more embarrassed

if he watched that with me.

-Exactly. There's some decency to the way

they go about themselves in "Drag Race," yeah.

So, congratulations on the final season of "Kimmy Schmidt."

And this is, obviously, your second show

that you've worked with Tina Fey and Robert Carlock.

Is it true that Tina and the writing staff will sometimes

write things with no expectations that you,

as an actor, will actually have to do them?

-Well, first, let me say it's gonna be very, very bittersweet

for this show to end, because my relationship with Tina Fey

is my most successful and longest-lasting relationship

in my life.

-I mean, it's incredible.

Two shows and two great characters.

-And I'm going to miss it terribly,

and especially the wacky group of players that we have,

with Titus and Ellie and Carol Kane.

We are all very close,

and I'm going to miss the sort of wacky fun that we have there.

But I have noticed, sometimes,

they put things in the script

that, because I take their writing so seriously,

I just think is -- I'm expected to do whatever they put there.

And there was an episode of "30 Rock" where they wrote --

We were fighting over the same guy, Liz Lemon and Jenna.

And it was supposed to be like that movie thing

where you go "ahh" and then put your arm around

your date, your supposed date.

So, they said, "Well, Liz does it,

but then Jenna does it with her leg."

And, so, we did the rehearsal, and I did that.

I mean, I was like -- I can't do it here, 'cause...

-Yeah, yeah. -...you'll be off the air.

-But I literally did it, and she was like,

"We never expected that you could do that."

We just wrote that as, like, an imagery, like an idea.

-I was like, "Oh, I thought -- Like, I practiced at home."

-Exactly. You're like, "I was the Dining Car, Ms. Fey!"

Thank you so much for being here, Jane.

Why Is Running So Popular With Millennials? | British Vogue & Nike - Duration: 2:30.

What does running make you feel?

Running definitely makes me feel powerful, in control…

But I also feel at peace.

Running makes me feel really empowered.

It reminds me of what my body is capable of.

Running makes me feel like I'm escaping into my own sanctuary.

It really just makes me feel like I'm at one with myself,

and just relax and really enjoy that moment.

Do you remember when you first decided to make running a part of your life?

It was a primary-school sports day

and I remember just thrashing everybody over the 100 metres.

And that's when I really realised I was fast.

I started running kind of regularly

after I had my operation.

I have a syndrome called MRKH syndrome,

which means I was born without a womb.

And for a long time I felt like my body

wasn't capable of doing a lot of things.

And then I started running,

and it reminded me of how powerful I was

despite my abnormalities.

What has been your most memorable run?

A run called the Ladder

that we used to do at school,

and it was just in sixth form.

It was the first kind of competitive thing I did after my operation,

and I ended up doing a lot better

than I thought I was going to do,

which was really pleasing and empowering.

My most memorable run would probably be in 2016

at the Olympics in Rio,

where I crossed the finish line and picked up a bronze medal.

I think the first time that I started to run

properly was with my mum

We decided to do the "Couch to 5K" thing…

It went interestingly,

but we did it a few times and got there.

And why do you run?

I just love the way it makes me feel.

I love that I feel a lot more powerful

and stronger when I come back from a run,

but also clearer and calmer.

I think it's something that I can just do

whenever I feel like doing it,

wherever I am.

I just put some trainers on

and I can just go outside and run.

I like to run because I'm an athlete,

and I need to run to ensure

that I'll one day be the fastest.

When do you become a Coach? - Duration: 3:21.

Hi!

I'm Sharon Jurd and welcome to my Biz Blitz video and today I want talk to you about when

do you become a coach?

When is the right time?

What expertise do you need?

What experiences do you need?

I get asked this question a lot and I wanted to share some tips with you today on when

the right time is to become a coach.

Firstly, you have to learn deeply and what I mean by that is, you learn a new skill,

and you've probably already done that, but you know it deeply, you know it inside and

out.

It might be a particular part of your business, it might be going through a tragedy and how

you've overcome that.

You have to deeply know this.

Secondly, you have to practice what you learn.

If you are saying to people, "this is my weight loss program", and you aren't utilising

it and you're not practicing those methods, then it's very difficult for people to build

a rapport with you or connect with you in some way.

I'm not saying that you have to be the optimum level of fitness to be a fitness trainer but

there has to be some rapport built there where you're utilising tools in your own business

or in your own life.

Thirdly, go and teach others because I think that it is very important if you have a small

amount of knowledge or expertise and experience, it doesn't have to be 30 or 50 years of

business, if you have gone through a challenge, a tragedy, or you've owned a business or

you have some life experiences or expertise around health, wellbeing then, it is an obligation

for you to go and teach others.

There are people out there that are needing to hear from you and it's very important

that they can easily find you.

To answer the question - when is the great time to become a coach?

Right now!

You have it all within you to know enough to become a coach.

Sure, there are some strategies around becoming a coach and there are some systems and processes

that I share with my attendees at my events and so forth, because that's what I do;

I learn, I practice and then I go and teach.

So there are my three steps for you – learn, practice and then teach and that can be done

in a very, very short time.

You don't have to learn something for many, many years.

You may have learned something for the very first time in one day and you can go and teach

that to others.

So that's my answer, get coaching right now.

Get out there and share your message, share your story, expertise and experiences with

others.

I'm Sharon Jurd.

I hope this video has been of value to you.

If you think this would be of value to your friends, family or colleagues, please share

my video because I want to help as many people as I can and I need your help to do that.

I'm Sharon Jurd and we'll talk very soon.
