I mean look, I read today about a 10-year-old girl with Down Syndrome who was taken from

her mother and put in a cage.

Wah wah.

I read about a ... Did you say "wah wah" to a ten-year-old with Down Syndrome being taken

from her mother?

What I said is you can pick anything you want out-

How dare you?

... but the bottom line is very clear.

How dare you?

When you cross the border illegally-

How absolutely dare you, sir?

... you have given up the-

How dare you?

That was former Trump campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski.

Now, in case you're not aware of what was happening there, they were talking about the

fact that a 10-year-old migrant child was separated from her mother.

Now, that child happened to have Down syndrome, and when hearing about that, Lewandowski's

response was, "wah wah."

Lewandowski, in that clip right there, just proved, beyond any shadow of a doubt, that

this entire administration, their policies, are based on nothing more than pure evil.

If you hear that story, and your response is, "wah wah," then you're about the worst

of the worst that humanity has to offer.

That is exactly how I would describe Corey Lewandowski, a soulless, disgusting, waste

of a human being that is beneath everyone else on this planet.

But, in case you were wondering, Lewandowski has some problems of his own to deal with,

so maybe he was a little bit irritable there.

For example, the fact that he is actually smack dab in the middle of that New York Attorney

General investigation into the Trump Foundation.

In fact, she actually tweeted out one of the emails that Lewandowski sent, showing that

he was directly involved with directing a charity to benefit the Trump campaign, which

is highly illegal.

The chances of Corey Lewandowski going to prison are far greater than the chances of

him not going to prison at this point.

To be honest, based on what's happening, based on how disgusting these members of the Trump

administration and the former Trump campaign, based on how disgusting they are, I hope Lewandowski

spends the rest of his life in prison.

I hope every second of the rest of his existence is excruciating for him, that he experiences

some of the most miserable things a human being can experience, because that is what

these people deserve.

After watching his response there, it should be clear to everyone, there is no rationalizing

with Trump supporters.

There is no civil conversations to be had here.

We are dealing with pure evil, and the ones that aren't pure evil have been brainwashed

by the Trump cult.

Do not engage them.

Do not talk to them.

Do not try to rational ... have a rational conversation with them, because it won't work,

because they are all exactly like Corey Lewandowski.

- I suspected for awhile, but I found out for sure today.

and any of that at my son's birthday party.

They can have a birthday party for him

and have a good time.

- The fact they're together and they're talking,

and they're talking about stuff on camera,

it's almost like she had to talk about it too.

- As the mother of your child,

you are creating these issues because you are

the middle man between me and your girlfriend.

No you can't control her, but you can tell her,

"That's the mother of my child,

"I have to raise a child with her.

Simple Gum Paste Bow | Craftsy | Michaels - Duration: 5:17.

- So I walked into my first job as a physical therapist,

after college, and realized right away

that I had made a very poor choice, and mostly

because it didn't spur my creative side, by any means.

And so I was always looking for something to do

at the end of a long day as a physical therapist.

And cake decorating seemed like a fun thing to do.

So I sought out classes and ended up

at a local Michael's store in Connecticut.

I literally went straight from work

to cake decorating classes every Tuesday evening.

I fell in love with the art of decorating cakes.

I fell in love with the creative aspect of it,

being able to just come home after a long day

and be able to do something fun,

and eventually started making cakes for friends and family.

I definitely started my cake experience

on the more simple side.

I really had an affinity for playing with fondant

and gum paste and those types of things.

So things like making bows and even sugar flowers

were the types of items I would do in my spare time,

when I just wanted to do something fun.

I've been a full-time cake decorator

for the past 11 years.

I run a studio with custom, luxury wedding cakes.

And what has been fun about my journey

is that I've taken every aspect that you can

through this path of being a cake designer

and that is starting by taking some lessons,

playing with cake, I actually taught Wilton Method

at Michael's for a couple of years in the beginning.

And now I continue to share

all of that knowledge through other methods.

I started cake decorating by doing really simple things,

like making a custom topper,

like this classy gum paste bow placed on top of a cake.

It really brings the cake itself to life.

You can even add this to a premade cake

to save yourself a little time.

So the first thing you wanna do is roll out your gum paste

to about an eighth of an inch thick.

We wanna make sure this is wide enough

for two widths of the spatula.

The next step is to texture our ribbons.

So, using a rolling pin, you're gonna apply some pressure

and roll it gently all the way across.

With a food-safe brush, I'm gonna add a little shimmer dust

just to give it a satin look, like a real ribbon.

So now I'm gonna cut two lengths of ribbon

using a food-safe straightedge.

You'll need four lengths altogether.

When working with gum paste, you wanna work

in small sections so that it doesn't dry out on you.

(upbeat music)

So you're gonna roll out and texture your gum paste,

but this time you're gonna cut out two strips

that are two widths of the spatula.

I've got a 6" cake covered in teal fondant,

but you could choose to use buttercream here, as well.

To attach our ribbon strips, we're gonna add

just a little bit of water with a food-safe brush.

Flip over our strip, and gently brush the water on.

We're gonna place all four strips on our cake

and have them meet at the top center.

And now all you need to do is cut a diagonal

through the center of all of the ribbons

and remove the excess pieces.

(upbeat music)

For our ribbon tails, we're gonna take

one of our wider pieces, cut it in half,

and then cut diagonals at each end.

Taking one of our ribbon tails, we're gonna hold it

with our finger and our thumb,

and do what's called a box knot.

You make an S on one side

and an S on the other side and squash it together.

And that's what gives the beautiful ruffling to our tail.

To make our bow loops, we're gonna cut this in half first,

and then we're gonna pleat it down the center.

And that is folding it.

And then we'll create another box knot at that other end.

Now with gum paste, sometimes you need to add a little bit

of a paper towel in here to prop the bow while it dries.

Once the bow loops are dry, we'll go ahead

and place them on the cake.

This is your chance to fluff and puff a little.

You may need to add a little bit of water

to make them stick.

To finish off your bow, all you need to do

is add a little strip of gum paste.

And you can see, just adding a bow

can dress up even the simplest of cakes.

I didn't really like growing up as a kid.

I had a lot of problems..

People didn't really know what was up with Rusto

back in the day.

They didn't really know, you know,

what was up with me.

And, I didn't like school,

even from a young age.

I always had my desk turned around backwards

and check marks on the board and I never could go home

when all the other kids went home.

I just had a lot of anger, you know,

as a young kid.

Just like rage at four or five years old..

I just was pissed..

When I was like in first grade,

I couldn't talk the whole time in school,

because I was screaming the whole time at home.

I have no idea why I was screaming..

My dad would ask me, what's wrong with you?

I have no fucking idea, I just was..

Yeah, I have natural aggression,

I am fucking straight up raw, and I cannot hide that at all.

It's funny, like, I go out there

and you'd think I'd be like not stressed out

after like three hours of surfing.

Sometimes, I come in and I'm like more mad.

I have to like cool off..

She was found in the streets of Oakland

and all skinny and missing her teeth

and I just fell in love with her.

She needed me, and I never had anything

that really needed me before,

and I guess that having that thing

that, you know, something that really needs you,

means a lot, so..

Anyways, yeah, it's third generation,

my grandpa was a surfer, my dad was on the Gordie team

in the 60's, before the Hole in the Wall Gang.

I basically just told her, you know,

like, hey, we're a surfing family,

we surf.

I say to Sugar, do you want to go surfing?

She gets all excited when I put her fins in her board,

watch..

(laughing)

You gotta stay here, we'll go surfing another day!

Inside, inside!

(laughing)

Are you ready to go?

On any given day, when there's people out there,

when Sugar comes out,

the whole pier lines up with people

and all the local rippers from here

they all support Sugar and they're all super nice to her.

People just get stoked on Sugar..

I never expected her to be so good, you know?

I feel like Sugar has this ultra sense,

she knows what she's doing in the water

from counter-balancing to just staying low

to moving back when I'm moving forward.

Everything that she does she's working with that board

to make it to shore.

(rock music playing)

When I'm out there in the water

after she catches a good wave

I spin her around and am biting her

in this part of her head,

I bite it with my mouth, you know..

(laughing)

Yeah, we're always having moments..

(yelling)

She has the record for the biggest wave

on a short board,

you know, how many times did she fall today?

Um, none?

There's no dogs better than Sugar.

on his head alone, Rusty is quite admittedly

a tough looking guy..

An unlikely love story between man and dog..

-: My little job at the surf shop,

it just means the absolute world to me,

and I just love it.

I can bring Sugar there,

and I get to work on my communication skills with people,

for people to have a chance to get to know me.

I've always kissed Sugar right here in the middle.

Even if I just press down really hard right there

with my lips, and just rest right there for a minute

and just mentally talk to her..

Really, just let her know I'm so proud of her,

and just give her that.

Four years of her wearing on my heart

has really changed my life.

She's allowed me to love..

My own father never taught me how to love,

church didn't teach me how to love,

the ocean didn't teach me how to love.

Sugar straight up taught me how to love.

She is like the release to all the negativity in life.

My mind stops, everything stops,

I don't think about anything, I can just be.

All I want to do is just be like the nicest, coolest guy,

and, you know, before I had Sugar, I really didn't care.

You know, I don't have much,

I've got like a hundred bucks to my name,

I don't have a car, driver's license.

I'm 37 years old..

I got my Sugar, and I'm stoked.

Congressman Triggered As Discussions Turn To Crooked H Scandal, Then All Hell Breaks Loose - Duration: 2:50.

Tuesday during a joint hearing before the House Oversight and Judiciary committees,

Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowit testified after his release of the

IG Report.

This was the second day of the hearing.

The IG report didn't come out well for democrats and they are using their time during the hearing

to change the subject and talk about immigration.

Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD), had a major meltdown in front of everyone that was unrelated to

what the hearing was even about.

Cummings screamed and even went as far as choking up crying over President Trump's

administration's "zero tolerance" immigration policy.

This is democrats latest uproar.

Cummings yelled, "Even if you believe people entered our country illegally.

Even if you believe they have no valid asylum claims in their own country.

Even if you believe immigration should be halted entirely, we all should be able to

agree that in the United States of America, we will not intentionally separate children

from their parents.

We will not do that.

We are better than that.

We are so much better."

"We should be able to agree we will not keep kids in child internment camps indefinitely

and hidden away from public view.

What country is that?" he asked.

"We do not need legislation.

This is a policy, and understand this, this was a policy invented, implemented and executed

by President Donald Trump."

Cummings said.

"And so in conclusion, Mr. Chairman, we need you.

Those children need you, and I'm talking directly to my Republican colleagues.

We need you to stand up to President Trump," Cummings said while almost crying.

He continued, "We need you to join us in telling him that we reject this mean policy.

We need you to tell him to abandon this policy."

This is what grandstanding looks like.

Democrats need to come to the table like the President has asked time and time again.

The President tweeted Tuesday morning about immigration:

"If you don't have Borders, you don't have a Country!"

President Trump tweeted "Democrats are the problem.

They don't care about crime and want illegal immigrants, no matter how bad they may be,

to pour into and infest our Country, like MS-13.

They can't win on their terrible policies, so they view them as potential voters!"

"We must always arrest people coming into our Country illegally.

Of the 12,000 children, 10,000 are being sent by their parents on a very dangerous trip,

and only 2000 are with their parents, many of whom have tried to enter our Country illegally

on numerous occasions."

"#CHANGETHELAWS Now is the best opportunity ever for Congress to change the ridiculous

and obsolete laws on immigration.

Get it done, always keeping in mind that we must have strong border security."

A Virginia city is rebranding its only school named after a Confederate general to honor

the United States' first black president, FOX News reports.

The Richmond Times-Dispatch reports the Richmond School Board voted 6-1 Monday to rename J.E.B.

Stuart Elementary School to Barack Obama Elementary School.

Kenya Gibson represents the school on the board and was the lone dissenting vote.

Gibson wanted the vote to be delayed and said there was a lack of local names included in

the administrations rebranding recommendations.

The board estimates it will cost about $26,000 to rename the school.

The Kenyan clown also has been stealing park land in Chicago for his own building to be

built in his name.

The controversial Obama Presidential Center in Chicago will benefit from almost $200 million

in taxpayer funding for work on infrastructure projects near the center on Chicago's South

Side.

"Bringing the Obama Presidential Center to Chicago took leadership and vision, and

we are gratified that our partners in Springfield also saw the potential for what this means

for all of Illinois.

The state's $174 million investment in infrastructure improvements near the Obama Center on the

South Side of Chicago is money well spent," Mayor Rahm Emanuel

"For all the talk of transparency, the Obama Foundation has never answered one essential

question: Why MUST National Register-designated public parkland be taken for [the Obama center]

when other options exist?"
