Oh, he-he-heeey!

Oh ha-ha-ha.

Red finger, red finger, where are you?

Here I am, here I am.

Oh, how do you do?

Hello boys and girls, I'm doing some finger painting!

Come on, hey!

Oh, hey!

I've got an idea!

Why don't you try to guess what I'm painting, yay!

Oh, great!

Eh…

Oh, hi Maggie!

Hi, what are you doing?

I'm finger painting!

Ha-ha.

But it's too small.

Abracadabra!

Oh!

Hi-hi-hi.

Oh-oh wow!

Okay, you can see it now.

So, what is it?

If you don't know, say: I don't know.

So, what is it?

I don't know.

I'm not surprised.

I need some black paint.

Okay.

What am I painting?

I need a head, two antennae.

One, two, three, four, five, six legs!

So, what is it?

Do you know?

What is it?

Wait a minute.

Let me finish the painting with seven dots, yay!

Ha-ha-ha.

Great, so what is it?

What is it?

A ladybird!

Yeah!

It's a ladybird!

Yeah!

So, come on.

Let's sing a song to a ladybird.

Ladybird, ladybird, what colour are you?

Red and black.

Red and black.

Oh!

Nice to meet you!

Well done, yay!

Watch this, Steve!

Abracadabra!

Oh-oh-oh, wow!

Let's say bye-bye to the ladybird!

Bye-bye, little ladybird!

Oh-oh-oh, wow, that was great!

A ladybird with all those spots around.

Yay!

Let's do another one!

What colour should we use?

Hey!

Let's use some blue paint!

Eh… oh, ah-ah!

Blue finger, blue finger, where are you?

Here I am, here I am.

Oh, how do you do?

So, come on boys and girls, can you guess what I'm painting now?

This will be a bit difficult, so I hope it works.

One, two, three, four prints.

Hmm… (laugh) Is it OK?

Yeah…

I think it's OK.

Hey, what is it?

Do you know?

Steve!

It's too small!

Abracadabra!

Oh, ha-ha, wow!

Big and blue!

Yeah!

So, boys and girls, what is it?

Do you know?

Really?

Well if you don't know, say: I don't know.

But let's find out if you're right!

I need to draw a body, some antennae, legs and hey, what is it?

Yeah!

It's a butterfly!

Come on then, let's sing our song to the butterfly!

Yeah!

Here we go!

Butterfly, butterfly, what colour are you?

I am blue.

I am blue.

Oh!

Nice to meet you!

Yay!

And watch this, Steve!

Abracadabra!

Oh, wow!

That's fantastic!

Yeah!

Let's say bye-bye to the butterfly!

Bye-bye!

Yay!

OK boys and girls.

Let's do another one!

But pff… this is getting hard work, isn't it?

Come on, let's choose another colour!

Hmm… let's use yellow!

He-hey, yeah!

Yellow finger, yellow finger, where are you?

Here I am, here I am.

Oh, how do you do?

So, mmm… what can I paint using yellow?

Oh, I know!

Hey, what is it?

So, what is it?

What is it, boys and girls?

Steve, it's too small!

Abracadabra!

Oh, that's better!

Do you know what it is now?

Yeah!

It's a worm!

It's a worm!

That's right!

It's a worm!

But let me just give it a nice happy face.

Super!

That's great!

Now let's sing our song to the worm!

Are you ready?

Here we go!

Little worm, little worm, what colour are you?

I am yellow, I am yellow.

Oh!

Nice to meet you!

Yay, great!

Abracadabra!

Ha-ha-ha.

Okay, let's say bye-bye to the little worm.

Bye-bye little worm!

Bye!

Oh, well done boys and girls!

But hey!

Do you like worms?

Or do you think they're scary?

And disgusting?

Ha-ha-ha-ha…

Well I've got one more clean finger.

So, come on.

Let's paint one last picture!

Hey, let's use the green paint!

Yay!

Green finger, green finger, where are you?

Here I am, here I am.

Oh, how do you do?

Okay boys and girls, what bugs are green?

Here I am, here I am.

Oh!

Nice to meet you!

What shall we sing to next?

The caterpillar!

Caterpillar, caterpillar, where are you?

Here I am, here I am.

Oh!

Nice to meet you!

Well done!

Come on, now let's say hello to the butterfly!

Butterfly, butterfly, where are you?

Here I am, here I am.

Oh!

Nice to meet you!

So, what's the last one?

That's right!

It's the ant!

Little ant, Little ant, where are you?

Here I am, here I am.

Oh!

Nice to meet you!

Yay!

Oh-oh!

Bye-bye to all the bugs!

Oh, hey!

Look at my fingers, they're all mucky!

Hi-hi-hi!

And you've got some on your face!

What, where… here?

(laugh) Eh… here?

What, where?

Here?

Here?

Oh, Steve…

Where Maggie?

Everywhere!

What do you mean?

Let me see…

OH!

Mario Tennis Aces - REVIEW (Nintendo Switch) - Duration: 7:48.

It feels like it's been a life time since a Mario Sports game has truly had energy behind

it but Aces has so much energy that it can use it to control time.

For the first time since Mario Strikers Charged, I actually want to keep playing Mario Sports.

The mix of pure Tennis and fighting game mechanics results in one of the most competitive games

currently on the market.

There are so many options and scenarios and Camelot have managed to balance it all excellently.

Basically every time you return the ball with a charge shot or pull off a well timed trick

shot, the gauge in the corner of the screen will fill up.

With this you can slow down time or when it turns green, stars will appear on the stage

which allow you to freely aim where you hit the ball.

If you fill your gauge all the way you'll be able to fire a special shot and if your

opponent doesn't perfectly time their return, it'll break their racket.

There are so many elements at play yet they all work so seamlessly together.

For instance I may have enough energy to start using zone shots but the same could be true

for my opponent.

I could be offensive and use them to attempt to damage their racket or score a well a point

or I could save up my gauge and be defensive.

Triggering zone speed at just the right moment is also crucial, if you do it as soon as they

hit the ball, you're going to be wasting a lot of your gauge but if you do it too late,

you'll risk not being able to catch up with the ball.

One of my favourite things to do when both players have their gauge maxed out is to hit

the ball completely out of my bounds with a super in the hope that they return with

their super, thus leaving their court completely open for a smooth return.

You can even finish a game early but breaking all of your opponents rackets, forcing a KO

victory.

The possibilities really feel endless and the new mechanics add so many layers to the

pure Tennis gameplay without ever coming across as tacked on gimmicks.

You can play without them but I really never want to, the one mechanics are what make Aces

so fun.

They're a far cry from the coloured panels of Open and Ultra Smash which I felt diminished

so much strategy in those games.

Camelot finally found a way to keep Mario Tennis accessible for newcomers while being

something fans can master.

Though unfortunately there are a number of areas where they hit the ball out of play.

The core Tennis is better than it's ever been but almost everything surrounding it

has questionable flaws.

Let's start with how the game starts: No quirky intro cut scene!

It seems Camelot just can't top their stellar first impressions from Mario Power Tennis.

Instead of being greeted by a menu, you'll be whooshed straight into the game's Adventure

Mode.

If you wanted to jump straight into multiplayer, you'll need to sit through or skip a few

cut scenes first.

Now, the Adventure Mode isn't quite the return to the roots of Mario Tennis: Power

Tour, in fact it's extremely far from it.

Basically you wonder around a world map in a similar way to Super Mario World or New

Super Mario Brothers U and instead of levels, you jump in to Tennis challenges.

This could be a simple 1 on 1 with an AI, it could be a round that forces you to rely

on Zone Shots by independently aiming at 30 piranha plants or you may need to maintain

a rally for 20 consecutive returns.

Unfortunately it's all over far too quickly and ideas are frequently reused only with

often jarring difficulty spikes.

There's a story to tie it all together but outside of the opening which is essentially:

"Wario and Waluigi have found an ancient magical tennis racket which is a lawsuit away

from the Infinity Gauntlet", it all basically just boils down to a few sentences finding

an excuse for why you need to be playing Tennis.

You can only play as Mario over the course of the adventure with the exception of one

lone level.

It kind of makes sense as he's the most well rounded player in terms of attributes

but to say it lacks variety would be an understatement.

Mario does level up like an RPG and you can obtain new rackets over the course of your

journey but I never really felt the impact of any from this.

The adventure mode barely lasted us three hours which made me question what the point

even was for these RPG mechanics?

They don't carry over to any other modes, there's nothing more to do once you've

finished adventure mode and they don't really feel like they do anything.

Boss battles are thankfully the highlight of the single player, all five of them being

wonderfully imaginative with clever spins on mainline Mario games.

Whether you're using your trick shots to jump over a giant blooper or using zone shot

to pound on Petey Phriana's belly button, they're always a great time.

It's also nice to see Eyerok from Mario 64 again!

Though he's a little more icey this time.

Adventure mode has its moments of providing the thrills you may expect but it's bogged

down by repetitive missions with little pay off.

The only real reason to keep on pushing through is to unlock more multiplayer courts.

The courts themselves are all really wonderful and diverse.

Having three variations of Marina stadium isn't quite ideal but whether it's the

Forest court or the snowy one, they're all full of visual spectre and the optional stage

hazards add a ton of chaos to matches.

The lava one for instance is full of exploding mechakoopas which forces you to move around

the stage more and risk your positioning.

The Forest has boo house has mystical panels that keep you on your toes as you're never

quite sure just which direction the ball will go.

They're all really spectacular and I love that their gimmicks aren't forced on those

who don't want them.

We were hoping Aces would finally offer a decent single player offering to the world

of Mario Sports and it frankly doesn't deliver on that.

Aces is just as much a multiplayer game as Mario Kart 8 and if you aren't playing with

others, it's a pretty average ride.

Even other single player modes are severely lacking.

Single player tournaments only allow you to play in variations of Marina Stadium, which

you may know better as the single stadium from Ultra Smash.

It's just boring to go through 5 consecutive matches on the same courts with nothing to

spice them up.

Then the verses mode options are frankly just baffling.

You can't set up rounds longer than best of three despite the Adventure Mode featuring

just that.

You can't just select what court you want to play and instead have to toggle off what

you don't want which is incredibly slow and tedious.

You don't even get images of what the courts are so if you aren't familiar with their

names?

Good luck.

It also doesn't help that the AI are gods.

They'll somehow block specials perfectly without even entering zone speed and miracously

make every trick shot.

Apart from in Doubles matches where they'll constantly lose you points.

Thankfully some of the options fair a little better.

You can toggle hazards off for each stage.

You can turn off all Zone mechanics and just play a pure round of Tennis and if you want

a Wii Sports style experience you can try out the separate Swing Mode and play with

motion controls.

Swing Mode actually has some really call side options like playing with a giant ball or

playing with a ball that gets gradually smaller with each hit.

It's kind of crazy that we can play these in anything but Swing Mode.

The character variety is also far great than it's ever been with Mario, Luigi, Wario

and Waluigi all being redesigned to actually appear in Tennis gear and a roster larger

than any previous Mario Tennis game.

Chain Chomp is simply the best boy.

There's even more character coming down the line such as Koopa Trooper, Birdo, Blooper

and Diddy Kong.

Mario Tennis Aces has such a solid base but it's simply bizarre that everything surrounding

it feels stuck together with cheap glue.

When you're playing locally with friends it's an absolute blast and I would give

you my online impressions but that component was hardly available in the review period.

We tested some friendly matches with fellow reviewers but found the same inconsistent

connections of the multiplayer demo.

Thankfully there's a day 1 patch on the way which apparently addresses netcode issues

but we simply haven't been able to confirm that.

For that reason we won't actually be scoring Mario Tennis Aces today so keep an eye out

for our follow up video on release day covering everything we weren't able to test in our

weeks with the review copy.

I like the foundation of Mario Tennis Aces a ton and found myself addicted over the course

of the multiplayer demo, barely being able to put the game down.

But I've not quite had that experience with my time with the full game, despite having

access to more characters and courts.

It's a multiplayer focused game through and through and without proper access to the

online component, it's a very average game.

Local multiplayer matches have resulted in some of the best laughs I've had with the

system but we really need to see if the online gets any better before putting a score on

this one.

And with that, thank you so much for watching.

We hope to give you our final thoughts the moments as soon as we've had some time to

digest the day 1 patch but until then keep it locked on GameXplain for more on Mario

Tennis Aces and everything else gaming as well.

Until next time, bye!

The Benefits and Drawbacks of Beta Builds - Duration: 5:13.

Hey, this is the daily overpass, my name is Eric and I make apps!

Now today, let's talk about the benefits and drawbacks of beta builds.

Ok so today I wanna answer a question that came in a couple of days ago on episode 378

from Siddharth Shakya who said "today I launched my new app with beta version.

Can you make a video to explain what are the drawbacks and the benefits of launching an

app under beta version".

Now Siddharth to be honest with you, and I'm ashamed to admit this, for my own apps I've

never done a beta version.

I know I should because I know we've got lots of users, I'll just put things out there and

sometimes it backfires like I talked about on the GDPR consent form last week - that

I got all these bad reviews immediately and I had to pull it.

That's not a good strategy but...for me, it's always been hard for me to find beta groups

and I don't really have a lot of people that I could get the beta tests.

I mean, I probably could if I wanted to but I just haven't.

But for clients, we've done it a lot.

Here's a tool that we use for beta testings, on iOS we obviously use test flight, I'm very

familiar with that, I've done so many releases to test flight for clients.

On Android on google Play it used to be really difficult, you used to have to set up a google

plus group and everything like that, I think it must be easier now because google plus

is no longer in the operation but I haven't used it.

I still use the one that I was using before which is, we use something which is called

test fairy and that's free for up to 10 apps and then it's ridiculously expensive if you

have more than 10.

It's a typical app economy - everything is really inexpensive until you just pass that

one threshold and then you talk about hundreds of pounds a month.

so what I'm always doing is removing the old apps and adding the new apps and everything

like that, and it works really well because you don't need to ask what is the email address

of the google play account and all this kind of stuff when you're setting up those test

users to add them on there, you can just send the email out and they can just do whatever.

That's usually the big drawback with me, it's like, they'll send an email address but they

have 2 or 3 email addresses and I need to find out which one did you register on google

play with and they say I didn't know and we spend all this time there.

So, I use test fairy and I use test flight.

So, the benefits and the drawbacks.

it's difficult with the, when you talk about clients and everything like that, obviously

the benefit is that you get to try something out before you go live.

You can put it out there and have people use it, find out if there's any bugs, if there's

any feedback early on, it's obviously a good idea and everything, especially with clients

it makes them feel a lot better if we can go live.

Now, the drawback is you have to find lots of people to do it and if you're an indie

developer you might not have all those kind of friends to do it.

And also, when you're asking your friends and coworkers and everything like that to

try out your app saying "hey, can you please just spend a bit of time doing it?" they wanna

help you out, so they don't wanna give you advice like "yeah no, it's fine, I think it's

really good" or whatever, because they feel like they're not adding value, so they'll

look for little things that aren't really an issue.

So if you put it out there they'll say "some people might think that icon is ugly, I think

it looks fine but some people might" or "some people might be confused by this" or "some

people might be this...i thought it was fine...whatever", and you're like "I don't want you to guess

what other people do", and so then all of a sudden you've got all this scope creep which

is the other major drawback.

It could be the major drawback, this goes more towards working with clients because

if it's your own app, you find these things early on.

If it's a client application and you put it out into beta version, you obviously wanna

find all the bugs, you wanna find stuff early but you also need to make it very clear that

we're not adding functionality, we're not changing functionality, if we do we have to

quote for it because we built it up to this point.

The finish line is right there and we're just about to cross it and at this point, we can't

introduce any changes.

Or we can but we have to make sure that they get charged for because as a developer, scope

creep is something that you're always looking for and the beta build, when you hear something

like that you think "ah, I don't really wanna have scope creep but it does really help.

And it's such a simple process.

it used to be test flight used to be really difficult because it would only give you like

30 days of the beta build and sometimes I've had clients test for six months, now it's

like 2 months.

Actually it might be 90 days, no it's 90 days now on test flight and on test fairy you can

just do it for as long as you want.

So those are the builds that I use and for those of you guys out there who do a lot of

beta builds, let me know in the comments how you guys do it because I know that this is

an area that I'm lacking in.

Siddharth, I'm just telling you what I know and what I've done in the past but for those

of you guys out there who have a bit more experience with this, i'd love to hear what

you guys have to say and anyway, that's it for today! I'll talk to you guys tomorrow!

BBQ Pork Ribs - Barbeque Ribs On Pellet Grill - No Hippie BBQ - Duration: 10:52.

what is up everybody this is Lyle with no hippie BBQ what I be doing today

is we are gonna be smoking some st. louis-style ribs I'm gonna be doing this

on my camp chef woodwind the reason I'm doing these barbeque ribs is a

friend of mine is having a housewarming party and wanted me to cook some stuff

just because he doesn't have the capacity to cook everything he needs so

I told him I picked up the slack now knowing that he knows about good

barbecue I'm definitely gonna try to come correct on this and I'm definitely

gonna try to bring it anyway I made up my own a homemade barbeque rub I'm gonna let you

guys see that this rub is amazing we're gonna be also basing it down with the

base that I'm making first thing I need to do season up these ribs let's go

these ribs go I did go ahead and remove the membrane I did pull off some of the

fat but since I'm cooking so much we just clean this up real quick you could

obviously trim this down a little bit more the bbq rub I'm using is a homemade

rope and that's kind of what it looks like if anybody's interested in the

recipe let me know I might do a video on it but this is something that I kind of

throw together I primarily use this not only for the flavor but it puts some

good color on the ribs and I'm not using any binder or anything like that all

right so that's the bottom side I'm gonna go ahead and let this rub kind of

seep in a little bit then we'll flip it over and get the other side I'll also

get these edges done as well I'll do that off camera it looks like it seeped

into the smoked meat pretty good so we're just gonna go ahead and flip it over we're

gonna hit this other side and this robe is definitely putting some good color on

these barbecue ribs

all right so this is a wrap I'm going to go ahead and let this seep in in the

meantime let's get outside and get this Camp Chef fired up go outside and start

up this Camp Chef woodwind what I want to talk to you about is how I'm actually

going to be powering this unit what I'm going to be using to actually run that

Camp Chef off of is an electric generator that was sent to me by a

company called Kodiak i'ma leave the links of all their information in the

description below now this comes in handy for me because that two pellet

smokers out there that I often run at the same time and what ends up happening

primarily in winter is about how I'm plugged into the same outlet I'm not

sure if it's not getting enough power or what but it's hard for me to maintain my

temperatures so I end up running a quart into my house into a separate outlet for

those of you guys have been with my channel for a long time you know that a

couple three years ago I had a smaller trailer and I forget what I was cooking

on it but the power went out and I ended up having to fire up another smoker so

this comes in handy for those reasons alone anyway before I get into the full

review I'm gonna run this and see kind of how this operates alright so this

seemed easy enough to me when a head turned it on plug the smoker into the

unit it's going through a startup function once we hit 250 degrees we'll

go ahead and throw these ribs on

the smokers at 250 degrees let's go ahead and throw them on and that color

is amazing already right off the bat now what I'm

going to do is I'm going to let these cook until they start getting a little

dry and we're gonna be based in them like every 45 minutes and when I'm

basting with is just going to be like some white wine vinegar butter and apple

juice and then a bit of the robe I also added and what we're gonna be based with

now we're about an hour and 20 minutes in I'm gonna go ahead and start based in

these ribs down I already know before you tell me I need to get a better base

toothbrush and I've thought about running out and getting one but we're

working with what we got and once I do this we're going to be based in them

every 45 minutes

alright guys so we're three hours in on these ribs and you will not believe it

the power actually just went out in my house so I didn't have this generator I

will be either having to finish these off in the oven or one of my other

grills anyway looks like we're starting to get some band on these rooms so I'm

not gonna wrap up or anything yet because I am for the finish wrap it up I

want to add some sauce but I'm gonna turn this down to about

220° I'm just gonna base this probably for the last time here

next time you see me we will be wrapping these rims

we're only gonna be wrapping them for about you know 35 minutes we're not

gonna do additional preaching one

I know that this power going out and everything seemed kind of odd when I'm

doing a video on an electric generator but I'm just gonna prove it now you know

I'm pushing on the buttons on my microwave they're not turning on my

ovens not turning on so just trying to offer just a little bit of proof that

this actually did happen because I mean you couldn't have wrote a more perfect

script I am on the phone with Mike from everyday BBQ and I was telling him about

this stuff and I told him that yeah I tried to prove that the power went out

so he said man nobody's gonna believe you so I'm opening up my refrigerator so

you could take a look you don't see no lights in there let's go ahead and shut

that up get the ice and water dispenser nothing's coming out of here either so

uh hey Mike say what's up to everybody

anyway I'm gonna leave with links of Mike's YouTube page in the high part

above the description below run by there check him out anyway like I said next

time I see you we'll be wrapping these ribs putting the final touches on so

sorry about the light right now but like I mentioned earlier I don't have any

power in the house let's just go ahead and finish up these ribs what I'm gonna

be using is I have some butter I prefer squeeze butter but I couldn't

find any at the store this morning apple juice I having a squirt bottle some you

know you want it barbecue sauce I'm gonna leave a link to this in the

description below run by there and pick up a six-pack or two we got some brown

sugar and some honey so very simple what we're gonna do is

just go lay down a bed of brown sugar and kind of spread

it out about the length of which you would think that the ribs are gonna be

and you don't have to worry about it being overly sweet because a lot of this

stuff is gonna come out in the glaze we got brown sugar on hit it with some

butter

all right

go over it with this we're just putting enough of this apple juice on here just

to kind of be moist I'm gonna move this butter out of the way get it with some

of this honey

all right sip this out of the way and now we're gonna go barbecue sauce maybe

a little bit more throw our ribs on meat side down now we're gonna come back over

the back with a little bit more of this sauce and we're just going to go ahead

and wrap it

and these are gonna go back out on the smoker meat side down for about another

45 minutes as a matter fact next time you see me if there's enough light

outside I may show them to you but next time you see me I'm we may be at this

housewarming party so as far as those fall off the bone ribs went once they got off the smoker I

drained off the liquid mixed it with a little bit of barbecue sauce blazed him

down and then I just put them in a foil pan because I took them to the party the

next day anyway as far as this taste test you're about to see I'm sorry if

the focus was a little bit blurry but I did have a few libations in me so my

vision wasn't coming 100% correct so why I'm here with my boy Marcus now

Marcus knows how to throw down on some barbecue as well he's gonna go ahead and

get in on this taste test now I like that like I mentioned in the video this

is the second day rib cook so I thought they were you know they weren't fall off

the bone but they were kind of closed there but go ahead and taste it and see

what you think you know how we do you know how we do you got a lot of hot dogs

anyway thanks for taking part in this counselor all right thanks for stopping

by no hippie BBQ I appreciate it comment subscribe and I'm out Fall off the bone ribs
