NASA's Mars Curiosity rover has made some startling discoveries.

The Red Planet may have the building blocks of life,... suggesting it was once inhabited...

or perhaps still is.

Ro Aram has the full story.

NASA has revealed that the Curiosity rover found an array of organic molecules on the

surface of Mars.

These are the carbon-based compounds that make up life as we know it.

Hints of organic molecules have been found before, but NASA scientists say the latest

discovery provides the strongest evidence to date of possible life on Mars

However, researchers did note they could have come from somewhere else.

"Now there are three different sources organic materials too.

One of them is the biology.

One of them could be meteorites that are in falling into the surface and being directly

deposited.

And the other one is a rock forming processes that might generate organic matter all on

their own and they might be the ones that are being brought in by rivers.

We don't have enough information from the observations we've made to tell what the source

is and how it got in there."

In addition to the carbon-based molecules, Curiosity also found methane in the Martian

atmosphere.

The gas is usually emitted from biological sources and only survives for a few hundred

years at a time.

Methane can be produced through geological or chemical reactions, but its sharp seasonal

increases make a stronger case for possible present-day life.

"So today we're announcing a discovery of a repeatable identifiable seasonal pattern

in the methane measurements.

And we can look here at the graphic and we can see that it's in that in the lower background

level because most of the time I'm not looking at spikes and we see this low background level.

You can see from the winter to the summer this growth, and the big surprise to is not

only have we got this wonderful repeatability but the seasonal cycle changes by a factor

of three.

That's a huge change."

The latest discoveries have provided a good stepping stone for future missions to visit

and analyze locations on Mars with more detail, bringing us one step closer to answering science's

most pressing question - are we alone in the universe?

...as requested in many many comments today I show you a recipe for a giant Knoppers...

...for that I got 6 wafer sheets here (20cm x 20cm)...

...also 100 grams melted white chocolate...

...now brush each wafer sheet with a bit white chocolate...

...& then glue together with another wafer sheet...

...set aside & continue with the hazelnut cream...

...for that put 250 grams milk chocolate, 100 grams dark chocolate, 200 grams nut nougat &125 grams Nutella into a mixing bowl...

...heat up in the microwave at 700 watts for about 45 seconds...

...give everything a good stir...

...microwave again for 30 - 45 seconds...

...and repeat that until the chocolate is completely melted...

...finally add 150 grams chopped & roasted hazelnuts

...stir in...

...& set aside until further use...

...next, for the milk cream stir together 25 milliliters milk with 50 grams coffee creamer in a cup...

...until the creamer has completely dissolved & you got such a beautifully thick & viscous milk...

...afterwards give the milk along with 200 grams soft butter & 100 grams powdered sugar into a mixing bowl...

...mix for about 1 - 2 minutes...

...until white & creamy...

...then melt 150 grams white chocolate...

...pour the chocolate to the butter mixture & stir in for another 1 - 2 minutes...

...until fluffy & creamy...

...if that's done we can start to layer our Knoppers...

...for that place a wafer sheet on a cutting board...

...next, we need a frame...

...I glued it together out of 4 cardboard pieces with the dimensions 20cm x 8cm and wrapped it in cling film...

...arrange the frame around the wafer sheet...

...next, pour in the chocolatey hazelnut mixture...

...& spread up to the corners...

...after that gently press on a second wafer sheet...

...evenly spread the milk cream on top...

...then add the last wafer sheet...

...& finally brush the top with 100 grams melted milk chocolate...

...that's how I put the Knoppers in the fridge for at least 6 - 8 hours (preferably overnight) to harden completely...

...next day, we can remove the frame...

...possibly straighten the edges with a sharp knife...

...so you can clearly see all layers...

...& that's it...

Trump says he could sign deal that would end Korean War at June 12 summit - Duration: 2:46.

We begin with the latest on the upcoming Pyongyang-Washington summit.

U.S. President Donald Trump claims he could ink a deal to end the Korean war when he sits

down for talks in Singapore.

If all goes well, the outspoken leader may even invite his North Korean counterpart to

the White House.

Lee Seung-jae has our top story.

Could the decades-old Korean War finally be coming to an end?

That's certainly a possibility.

Speaking to reporters at the White House on Thursday during a joint news conference with

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe,...

President Trump said he and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un could sign an agreement to end

the Korean War at their June 12th meeting in Singapore.

"We could sign an agreement.

As you know, that would be a first step.

It's what happens after the agreement that really is the big point.

But yes, we could absolutely sign an agreement.

We're looking at it.

We're talking about it with them."

With the historic Pyongyang-Washington summit now just four days away,... Trump says he's

"all ready to go",... adding he could invite the North Korean leader to the U.S.,... if

the summit goes well.

Should there be a follow-up summit,... it will take place at the White House,... and

not his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida,... as recently reported.

"Maybe we will start with the White House -- what do you think?"

Experts say a visit by Kim to the U.S. would serve as a powerful symbol of normalizing

ties between the former Korean War foes.

However,... despite the positive outlook,... Trump says he's still willing to walk out

of the summit,... if things don't go as planned.

"So, I am totally prepared to walk.

It could happen.

Maybe it won't be necessary.

I hope it won't be necessary to walk, because I really believe that Kim Jung Un wants to

do something that will be great for his people that is also great for his family and is great

for himself."

Meanwhile, the U.S. president added his administration's maximum pressure campaign on the North is

still in effect.

And if the term is mentioned after the summit in Singapore,... it's a signal negotiations

did not go well.

"Maximum pressure is absolutely in effect.

We don't use the term any more because we are going into a friendly negotiation.

Perhaps after that negotiation I will be using it again.

You will know how well we are doing with the negotiations, if you hear me saying we are

going to use maximum pressure, you will know the negotiation did not do well, frankly."

Will we finally see an end to the 68-year-long war on the Korean Peninsula?

The answer to that may come after one of the most anticipated summits in modern history

on June 12th.

The ultra fine dust has been suffocating us today.

Currently, Seoul is looking fair, but the southern regions have terrible air quality.

Dusty conditions are expected tomorrow as well.

We are generally expecting a cloudy Saturday afternoon.

However, into the evening, we are going to see showers starting over Jeju and the western

coastal regions.

At the same time, Beijing will see thunderstorms.

Seoul will wake up to 18 degrees Celsius,... with similar readings across most parts of

the country.

The sky will get cloudier as the day goes on, with Seoul rising up to 28 degrees, Gwangju

Could Kim, Trump sign deal to end Korean War? Interpretations vary as S. Korea's Blue House ... - Duration: 4:23.

U.S. President Trump's remarks that he may sign a deal to end the Korean War with North

Korean leader Kim Jong-un has got many wondering what exactly that means... especially for

South Korea as a direct party of interest.

Our chief Blue House correspondent Moon Connyoung takes an in depth look.

"We could absolutely sign an agreement.

We're looking at it.

We're talking about it with them.

We're talking about it with a lot of other people but that could happen."

The US President on the possibility of he and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un signing

an agreement to end the Korean War.

It's got many in South Korea wondering whether he meant declaring the end of war JUST between

the two without the presence of South Korea OR whether that meant a three-way summit was

in the works in Singapore following the historic Kim, Trump summit.

In other words, just scrambling for answers.

Is it even possible for those two to declare an end to the 65-year long Korean War in Singapore

next week?

"Declaration of ending war is a political or rhetorical declaration, not a legal obligation.

It can happen in any form at any time.

It just means the start of the peace process.

The best scenario is a trilateral declaration among South Korea, North Korea, and the U.S.

During the inter-Korea summit, they declared ending the war.

Now the U.S., North Korea bilateral declaration and then hopefully trilateral declaration

in the coming days."

But another school of experts say U.S. President Trump's remarks suggest the nuclear deal isn't

anywhere close to signing an end of war treaty with now fewer than four days left until the

big day.

"Heading into the summit, still North Korean leader Kim Jong-un hasn't decided on a strategic

decision to denuclearize in the manner of CVID.

So, President Trump emphasized compensation such as declaration of ending the Korean War

and normalization of relations to induce North Korea to make the strategic decision."

How likely is it that the U.S. President will declare the end of the Korean War... partly

giving the North Korean leader the security guarantee that regime has been so adamantly

demanding at the Kim, Trump "get-acquainted" summit in Singapore?

"I don't think the possibility is high as North Korean leader Kim hasn't decided to

accept CVID.

Maybe not this time.

If President Trump and Kim can meet in Singapore and decide on major principles and within

two months prepare a road map and meet again.

The declaration of the Korean War is not far from today but the important thing is North

Korea's strategic decision to accept CVID."

And there are still those who have not ruled out the possibility of the South Korean president

jumping on the plane and joining the party.

"I don't think the possibility of a trilateral declaration is completely gone.

I think he still has a chance.

It's slimmer now but there still is a chance that he may surprise everybody.

If not, the next chance is July 27th, the anniversary of the armistice.

The next case would be September at the UN when Kim Jong-un debuts on the international

society.

That would be another good chance."

"South Korea's Blue House, meanwhile, stayed away from making any premature interpretations

of the U.S president's remarks... with President Moon's spokesperson just saying Mr. Trump

appears to be mapping out various plans for his summit with the North Korean leader.

Two Koreas inspect facilities at Kaesong Industrial Complex for proposed liaison office - Duration: 1:36.

The two Koreas continue to work on establishing a liaison office.

South and North's officials visited the Kaesong Industrial Complex,... a potential site to

set up such operations.

Seoul's team has now returned.

We go to our Unification Ministry correspondent Oh Jung-hee who's standing by on the line.

Jung-hee, what do you have for us?

Daniel, 14 South Korean officials that left for the Kaesong Industrial Complex in the

North early this morning... came back to South Korea roughly an hour ago.

At their high-level talks last Friday, the two Koreas agreed to establish an inter-Korean

liaison office at the Kaesong Industrial Complex -- a joint industrial park run by the two

Koreas at the inter-Korean border.

But because the complex has been closed for over two years -- since February 2016 -- a

prior inspection needs to be done so that the site can be renovated.

The South Korean team was led by Seoul's Vice Unification Minister Chun Hae-sung and included

officials from the Presidential Office and a few private sector firms.

North Korean officials also joined in to check the facilities and equipment.

"Establishing the inter-Korean joint liaison office is the first measure of implementing

the Panmunjom Declaration and we think this is a significant and meaningful step for the

sustainable improvement of inter-Korean relations.

We will thoroughly look at the related facilities so that the office can be opened up at an

early date."

Following the results of today's inspection, the two Koreas will continue discussions regarding

renovating the complex and setting up a temporary liaison office first.

President Moon to make state visit to Russia on June 21st to 23rd - Duration: 2:17.

Fans of the beautiful game are counting the hours until kick off in Russia, as we inch

closer to the 2018 World Cup.

In light of the global sporting event, President Moon Jae-in will be visiting the host country.

According to our Hwang Hojun, he'll have a lot more on his plate than just football.

He will be the first sitting South Korean President to visit the Kremlin in 19 years.

The Blue House announced on Friday that President Moon Jae-in will fly out to the Russian Federation

on June 21st for a state visit.

He'll have a summit meeting with President Putin and attend a dinner banquet, and the

two leaders will reaffirm their commitment to developing future-oriented bilateral relations.

This will be the third time the two leaders have met in person since President Moon took

office.

While the date of the summit with President Putin is yet to be determined, the Blue House

said the meeting will likely cover ways to promote substantial cooperation between Seoul

and Moscow, including the expansion of future growth engines.

"The summit talks with President Putin will strengthen the friendship and trust between

the two leaders... and thereby expand practical cooperation with Russia,... which is the center

of our New Northern Policy.

Also on the agenda will be the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

"It will also be an opportunity for us to reinforce our bilateral strategic communication

and collaboration in the process of building peace on the Peninsula."

The New Northern Policy is one of the Moon administration's key diplomatic policies to

expand South Korea's diplomatic and economic horizon with its Eurasian neighbors.

President Moon, while in Moscow, will also deliver a speech at the State Duma, the lower

house of Russia's Federal Assembly, becoming the first South Korean president ever to do

so.

In addition, the President will meet with key Russian officials, including Prime Minister

Dmitry Medvedev.

After wrapping up his itinerary in the Russian capital, President Moon will fly to the southwestern

port city of Rostov-On-Don to cheer on the South Korean national football team in their

World Cup match against Mexico.

During his visit, President Moon will also take time to encourage local Korean residents

as well as Russian nationals who have contributed to South Korea-Russia relations.

The South Korean President will return back to Seoul on the 23rd.

In this video, we'll be discussing about some of the most common questions you'll hear in

Job interviews and how to nail them.

In most interviews, there are some common questions that are usually asked with disregard

to the job you are applying for.

By knowing good answers to those common interview questions you will reduce the stress you may

Experience during the interview and you will increase your chance of getting the job.

Because its hard to think when you are stressed, knowing the answers to common interview questions

will certainly help you be more relaxed during a job interview.

The following is a list of common interview questions and their answers.

Interview question 1.

Tell us about yourself.

By far this is the most popular interview question around, yet some people still feel

anxious and shaky when they hear it.

The best answer to this interview question would be a short identification of yourself,

then a brief explanation of your work or study experience.

It's best to prepare for this question before you go to the interview so that you answer

it confidently.

Interview question 2.

What is the benefit the we will get out of hiring you?

The point of this question is that the interviewer wants to know whether you are suitable for

the job or not.

In order to best answer this question, try to differentiate yourself from your competitors

by describing your unique abilities that are related to that type of job.

For example if the job is stressful, you could say that you can work under extreme levels

of stress, (of course, you must not lie, this is just an example).

Interview question 3.

Why did you leave your previous company?

That's one of the most common interview questions and its also one of the trickiest ones.

Many people make the mistake of saying that they are changing their jobs because of the

low salary they used to get or because of the routine nature of their old jobs.

Just put yourself in the shoe of the interviewer, he knows that every job becomes a routine

job after some time and he knows that you can always find a higher salary somewhere

else.

When answering this interview question, try to find something unique about their company

and say it as a reply.

An example answer would be , "Because your company is the only place that would allow

me to bla bla bla" mention anything unique about the company.

Interview question 4.

what are your strengths and weaknesses?

You can use this question to your side by saying some weaknesses that can be considered

points of strength.

For example you could say "one of my weak points is that I am overly ambitious and so

I sometimes become disappointed".

You have just mentioned another strength but in a different way.

Do not over do this else the interviewer will doubt that you are trying to mislead him.

Interview question 5.

Tell us about any big problem that you solved before.

The idea behind that question, is that the interviewer wants to know if you can deal

with work problems.

In order to answer that question perfectly, you must be prepared with a story or two that

show your good qualities and skills, (again don't lie).

Interview question 6.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

This question's purpose is to know if you are ambitious or not.

The answer won't matter much as long as you sound confident while saying it.

Interview question 7.

What is the amount that you are expecting to earn?

If its your first job then you can try avoiding that question by saying something like "I

am a fresh graduate and this is my first job so am not really aware of the salary ranges".

If you were lucky enough no one will push you to answer it but usually the question

will be repeated and the interviewer will say that he wants a number.

If that happened then make sure to specify a range and not a single number.

By the way, being asked that question may mean that you have passed the interview.

Answers to some uncommon interview questions.

Knowing the answer to common interview questions is a great thing that will help you do better

in job interviews but what will you do if you were asked additional questions that aren't

common at all?

Why didn't you get straight A's or a higer percentage?

The answer to that question would be "My life is based on a system of priories and whenever

Why can't you remember that thing you studied?

If you were asked about something that is written in your CV and you didn't manage to

The answer would be "when I studied that course, it took me one month to complete it.

The difference between me and someone who didn't study that course is that he will

have to spend a month learning it while I will recall it in minutes".

By giving such an answer you are pointing out that you forgot nothing and that you can

revise it in few hours.

Interview question 3.

You graduated about 10 months ago, why didn't you get a job sooner?

The answer would be "I know that after I start working I would never be able to take a long

vacation so decided to have a small break to refresh my mind before heading for the

new life".

Interview question 4.

Why do you want this job?

A good reply would be a one mentioning any aspect that is unique about the company you

are applying for.

For example "Because this company is the largest or best or bla bla bla".

The above examples give you a better understaning of how Job interviews work and how to nail

them.

Liverpool are interested in signing Roma goalkeeper Alisson, but the pricey Brazilian could still take a backseat to Loris Karius and Danny Ward.

The Reds have made considerable headway in the first weeks of the summer transfer window, signing Monaco midfielder Fabinho and agreeing a £52.8 million fee for Lyons Nabil Fekir.

With the imminent arrival of Naby Keita ensuring what is effectively a complete overhaul of Jurgen Klopps midfield, priorities could then shift to other areas of the pitch.

One key position in focus is Liverpools No.1, with Karius ruin in the Champions League final amplifying calls to sign Alisson.

The Brazilian produced an excellent season after taking over Wojciech Szczesny last summer, and along with Atletico Madrids Jan Oblak is a hugely coveted talent on Merseyside.

But exorbitant asking prices for the duo, with Roma claimed to be demanding around £79 million for Alisson and Oblaks release clause similarly high, the Reds plans could change.

According to the Telegraphs Chris Bascombe, Klopp would still like a goalkeeper, but Alissons price tag does not make it a certainty he will make the move to Anfield.

Instead, Bascombe suggests the manager may be more eager to allow Loris Karius to rehabilitate than many imagine.

Meanwhile he could allow Ward to push his first-team claims when he returns to pre-season training, with the Reds set to reconvene at Melwood on July 2.

And mercifully, the Liverpool Echo add that there is no interest in Southamptons Alex McCarthy.

Liverpool are rumoured to have met with Alissons representatives when Brazil took on Croatia at Anfield, with the 25-year-old keeping a clean sheet in a 2-0 win.

But with the Reds securing a bargain in signing Mohamed Salah from Roma for just £36.9 million last summer, it is no surprise the Serie A side would play hardball over their stopper.

The prospect of giving either Karius or Ward an opportunity to stake their claim as next seasons first choice likely wont be a popular one among supporters.

However, it would be in line with Klopps reputation for keeping faith in his current crop whenever possible, as well as resolving to wait for his prime targets.

When talks to sign Virgil van Dijk from Southampton last summer fell through, Klopp instead opted to head into the season with Joel Matip and Dejan Lovren as his leading centre-backs.

Van Dijk eventually made the move to Merseyside in January, with Klopps patience paying off as the Dutchman transformed his defence.

If Alisson does prove to be unattainable this summer, it would not be out of the realms of fantasy to see Karius retain his place despite widespread criticism.

Contains 38 pieces.

Recommended building ages are 5 through 12.

Let's see what kind of parts are inside the polybag

and take a closer look.

I don't expect there to be too many pieces.

Well we have a 4 by 4 plate.

A 2 by 8 plate.

A couple of tires.

A 4 by 4 frame.

Fender wells

or a 2 by 4 brick bow.

The parts to make one complete minifigure.

Not a whole of parts with this set.

Not too exciting.

There is some nice parts to make a simple vehicle.

I don't really see a lot of building bricks.

Though Liverpool have been credited with interest in Stoke City winger Xherdan Shaqiri, popular youngster Harry Wilson could still have a chance.

Shaqiri emerged as a possible target for the Reds on Wednesday evening, with Gents Moses Simon also under consideration as Jurgen Klopp looks to boost his forward options.

With a deal for Lyon captain Nabil Fekir in the pipeline, it seems that Liverpool will only add one more attacker to their ranks this summer.

Speculation over a move for Shaqiri has seen calls for Wilson, who shone in a half-season loan spell with Hull City last term, to take priority.

According to the Telegraphs Chris Bascombe, this may still be the case, as he claims Klopp wants to give the 21-year-old the incentive to push for a first-team place.

Wilson has just returned from the United States, where he made his fourth appearance for Wales in a 0-0 draw with Mexico in Pasadena, and will report for pre-season training at Melwood next month.

There he will be given the chance to impress Klopp, and earn a squad role supporting the likes of Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah.

The youngster scored seven and assisted four in 14 appearances for Hull earlier this year, and had hoped this would prove his potential to his manager.

His decision to join the Tigers in January, after topping the goalscoring charts in a comfortable six months with the Liverpool U23s, was a bold one.

With Hull battling relegation to League One, he could have suffered a similar struggle to Ovie Ejaria, who turned out regularly for Sunderland in the second half of the season but couldnt help them beat the drop.

But Wilson provided the boost Nigel Adkins side needed, and speaking to Goal at the end of his loan he stressed it was the right decision, as he aims for a big pre-season.

I'd like to make myself that backup player for [Mane and Salah], or that replacement if they have a knock or whatever, he explained.

It sounds like a big aim, but why not? I want to play for Liverpool in the Premier League on a regular basis, I will never deny that.

Wilson added that the manager told me he likes me as a player, with Klopps conviction clearly key to his development.

As Bascombe reveals that Shaqiri is of interest but not a priority at the moment, it could well be that Wilson takes that spot instead of the Swiss maverick.
