Since it received its red badge on August of 1997

people have referred to this car as sleek, fast, stable

an executive once even referred to it as the forbidden fruit

while others simply referred to it as

Oh well yeah

Now believe them as I do, I still am dying to know why

The Civic Type R 5th generation is well winged to say the very least

it got edges and curves and cuts and lines

So many lines in fact this thing could make Tony Montana look sober

its dressed in flamboyance for the lack of a better term

but at the heart of it is a no nonsense athlete

so it begs you to ask, does it really need all that flamboyance

Here let me show you

The honor red badge and the all LED affair upfront

is surrounded by ducks, cut and chin

Now not everything allows for air to go inside

such as this honeycomb grilles upfront

only the right side has a small opening to let air in

Now this guys create so much downforce

that these latch were added so that the air could escape

hence combatting that downforce

Oh, and the scoop on the aluminum hood? That too

Most might take that that's for the turbo, not exactly

its more for cooling purposes where the air is channeled through

and out the sides of the car

Upfront is where you will find the air for the engine

and down below that is for the intercooler

The faux carbon fiber trim continues down the side

with cuts that can be found on the door

There are panels above the wheel wells

which adds to its already wide stance

which compliment very well the 20-Inch wider

than an elephant butt tires

Yup, 245,30's can be found all around the car

with Brembo brakes to boot

Oh, and cheap thrill

Capless fuel system

What? Your car doesn't have a capless fuel system?

Where do I even begin? There's so much

You got vortex generators found on top, not one but two spoilers

Wingtips on either side, just like the Honda Jet

You got more honeycombs panel at the back

more faux carbon fiber trim, a rear diffuser, 3 exhaust

and a partridge in a pear tree

Now most of this bits do work but they do only start working

at 200km/h and above. So essentially

it's like a 7-footer that can't sing a free throw, sayang

Oh, a selling point for the Type R

Not like it needs help selling itself but

but there is a 414L of cargo space that can be found with the rear seats up

Speed shopping. Ah! That could be a thing. You'll thank me later

Comfortable, low and spacious. That's my normal driving position

that's Vincent normal seating position

and as you can tell, that's a lot of legroom and headroom

Not bad for a hot hatch

Must be said that there are absolutely no toys back here

only 2 speakers that can be found on the door and trippy red seatbelts

Oh, must be said that there is no seatbelt for the 5th passenger

which means, sorry bro, you can't come

The cluster and infotainment system

are much like those found on the normal Civic's

save maybe the air controls which are now tactile knobs

The blower is still in the infotainment system

which doubles as a reverse camera

Of course there is a reverse camera, what are we? Animals?

Anyway, there are red accents that can be found all around the car

Sports seats, suede center armrest

and a titanium shift knob which is awesome

When you start her up, you expect a loud boom or a gurgling

atleast from something that pushes out 310 metric horses

but there's none, so it makes you think that maybe

the exhaust was a bad idea, maybe they should've stock with 2 exhaust

or maybe one massive one

but maybe that's what they wanted, maybe they wanted quite

but if they did one quite, then why the Lily Savage get up?

Could it be because of the badge that we can find on the car?

Okay, so not the greatest of segways but there it is

Close the door, find a bit of road that you can play on

switch it from its default sports mode into R mode

and this monster picks up immediately

Once you get passed the 2500rpm the 400 Nm of torque

are let loose and you are in for a ride

Imagine yourself to be the security guard at the brand new mall

that's going on sale with 400 people just outside

waiting to get in. Once the clock strikes 10am

Hang on to those doors

The 6-speed gearbox is a joy, the short travel into every gear

and plus the rev match that catches you as you downshift

Man! It really makes you feel like you're a better driver

or a smoother driver than you actually are

There is a comfort mode that you can select

which can absorb bumps in the city within reason

But don't expect to have the same comfort as your average Civic

or your City. I mean this car yes, this particular car

made it around Nürburgring in 7mins 43secs and change

making it the fastest front-wheel drive road production cars ever to do so

For those that want to know, the Type R is capable of over 8km/l in the city

Now if that's the main concern of yours, then this car might not really be for you

But you're not alone, because the sad reality is

this car might not be actually for everyone, even for those that can afford it

When Honda Philippines brought in the Type R late last year

it was up for grabs at P2,980,000. Now, the price really

wasn't the problem with this car

The problem was is that they only brought in a hundred units

which sold out in 48 hours

Where do the next batch? None yet

Heps! Huli sa balita. We can confirm that there is a 2nd batch

of Honda Type R's that are on their way to the country

When exactly? Not sure, but they are on their way

So if I we're you, rush to the closest Honda delearship

and put down a reservation for one

because those things would sell like hotcakes

And now, back to me

So flamboyant as you may think

This thing could dress in drag do the Hoola

and you'd still wanna be inside it

It is one sweet drive

Kim Jong-un may stay at The St. Regis after reports of chief of staff seen at hotel - Duration: 0:39.

It's been confirmed that the summit itself will be held at the Capella Hotel on Singapore's

Sentosa Island.

But where will the leaders and their entourages be staying?

It's believed that President Trump will stay at the Shangri-La Hotel.

It's less clear on the North Korean side.

However,... observers say Kim Jong-un might be staying at The St. Regis Singapore,...

after reports said his de-facto chief of staff was seen at that hotel.

Meanwhile,... Singapore's Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan arrived in Pyongyang on

Thursday,... on an apparent mission to prepare for next week's summit.

Balakrishnan is expected to be fine-tuning the details of security and protocol.

Trump says he could sign deal that would end Korean War at June 12 summit - Duration: 2:52.

It's D-minus four until the much anticipated summit between North Korean leader Kim Jong-un

and U.S. President Donald Trump... and Trump has said that.... he is raring to go.

He reiterated that if talks do not go to his liking, he is prepared to walk... but if it

does go well, we could be seeing Kim in the White House in the near future.

Lee Seung-jae has the details.

Could the decades-old Korean War finally be coming to an end?

That's certainly a possibility.

Speaking to reporters at the White House on Thursday during a joint news conference with

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe,...

President Trump said he and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un could sign an agreement to end

the Korean War at their June 12th meeting in Singapore.

"We could sign an agreement.

As you know, that would be a first step.

It's what happens after the agreement that really is the big point.

But yes, we could absolutely sign an agreement.

We're looking at it.

We're talking about it with them."

With the historic Pyongyang-Washington summit now just four days away,... Trump says he's

"all ready to go",... adding he could invite the North Korean leader to the U.S.,... if

the summit goes well.

Should there be a follow-up summit,... it will take place at the White House,... and

not his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida,... as recently reported.

"Maybe we will start with the White House -- what do you think?"

Experts say a visit by Kim to the U.S. would serve as a powerful symbol of normalizing

ties between the former Korean War foes.

However,... despite the positive outlook,... Trump says he's still willing to walk out

of the summit,... if things don't go as planned.

"So, I am totally prepared to walk.

It could happen.

Maybe it won't be necessary.

I hope it won't be necessary to walk, because I really believe that Kim Jung Un wants to

do something that will be great for his people that is also great for his family and is great

for himself."

Meanwhile, the U.S. president added his administration's maximum pressure campaign on the North is

still in effect.

And if the term is mentioned after the summit in Singapore,... it's a signal negotiations

did not go well.

"Maximum pressure is absolutely in effect.

We don't use the term any more because we are going into a friendly negotiation.

Perhaps after that negotiation I will be using it again.

You will know how well we are doing with the negotiations, if you hear me saying we are

going to use maximum pressure, you will know the negotiation did not do well, frankly."

Will we finally see an end to the 68-year-long war on the Korean Peninsula?

The answer to that may come after one of the most anticipated summits in modern history

on June 12th.

Two Koreas to inspect facilities at Kaesong Industrial Complex for proposed liaison office - Duration: 1:45.

News on the summit continues to come in, but in the mean time... the two Koreas are continuing

to work on establishing a joint liaison office, which would enable more exchanges.

Officials from South and North are at the joint Kaesong Industrial Complex today,...

which serve as the site of such an office.

And we have our Unification Ministry correspondent Oh Jung-hee on the line for us.

Jung-hee, fill us in.

Devin, 14 South Korean officials left for the Kaesong Industrial Complex early this

morning.

They are there to check the site where an inter-Korean liaison office could be established

as agreed at the South's high-level talks with North Korea last Friday.

The Kaesong Industrial Complex is a joint industrial park run by the two Koreas at the

inter-Korean border, but it's been closed for over two years -- since February 2016

-- so a prior inspection needs to be done so that the site can be renovated.

The South Korean team is led by Seoul's Vice Unification Minister Chun Hae-sung and includes

officials from the Presidential Office and a few private sector firms.

North Korean officials will also join in to check the facilities and equipment.

"Establishing the inter-Korean joint liaison office is the first measure of implementing

the Panmunjom Declaration and we think this is a significant and meaningful step for the

sustainable improvement of inter-Korean relations.

We will thoroughly look at the related facilities so that the office can be opened up at an

early date."

Following the results of today's inspection, the two Koreas will continue discussions regarding

renovating the complex and setting up a temporary liaison office first.

The South Korean team is expected to come back in about an hour, at 5PM today.

S. Koreans head to polling stations to cast ballots for early voting for 2018 local elections - Duration: 2:13.

South Koreans will elect provincial governors, mayors and local councillors next week...

on June 13th.

And today, for those who won't be able to make it to cast a ballot on election day,

early voting has begun at polling stations across the country.

Our Kim Mok-yeon went to one of them in Seoul and filed this report.

The National Election Commission says that citizens who won't be able to cast their votes

on Election Day can visit any of the 3,512 stations installed nationwide from Friday

to Saturday between 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., to vote for their new leaders.

For this year's elections, citizens could could cast up to 7 votes to select some 4,000

leaders for administrative, legislative and educational posts, including 17 metropolitan

mayors and provincial governors.

Some living in selected districts can also vote for lawmakers as the by-elections to

fill 12 vacant seats in the National Assembly is also underway.

"Despite concerns that the voter turnout for this year's local elections could be low,

because much attention has been focused on the North Korea-U.S summit scheduled a day

before the Election Day,.. many voters still made time to exercise their democratic right

to vote."

"I'm on my way to Gwangju and I dropped by to vote.

Its my first vote as an adult and I came here because I felt that I should take more responsibility

and give more attention to political affairs to help create a better society."

"I never forget to vote.

I came early this morning because I want things to change.

I want my children and my grandchildren to live in a better environment."

As part of efforts to boost voter turnout rate, President Moon Jae-in and his wife First

Lady Kim Jung-sook cast their ballots this morning as well, becoming the first sitting

President to vote early since the system was introduced in 2013.

Lawmakers from all parties have also been encouraging citizens to vote early.

Members of the Democratic Party of Korea promised that five of their members will dye their

hair blue if early voter turnout surpasses 20 percent while Liberty Korea Party chief

Hong Joon-pyo said he will dance to the party's campaign song if the turnout is higher than

30 percent.

And thank you for an excellent dinner yesterday.

And welcome to this working session on NATO-EU cooperation.

At the Warsaw Summit in 2016, I signed a joint declaration with President Donald Tusk and

President Jean-Claude Juncker.

And since then, NATO and the European Union have strengthened our level of cooperation.

In July, we plan to sign a new declaration to take NATO-EU cooperation even further.

We will consider a report on progress already made in several areas.

Including cyber, hybrid, terrorism, and maritime operations.

And we will discuss additional areas of NATO-EU cooperation.

Such as military mobility.

That concludes the public part of this meeting.

it there was a lot of speculation that season 3 would end with a comet impact

and that a dinosaur themed season would come after but then we got super heroes

sort of out of left field but our dinosaurs still accompany his epic

drawing our attention to the footprint because it's going to mean something in

the coming weeks or is it like so many things in

fortnight just sort of there it's unclear but I wouldn't be surprised if

the plot to season 4 gets going in earnest sooner rather than later week 7

will mark the end of the weekly blockbuster challenges

at least for those that have been completing them every week and that

means the end of the little narrative that's been playing out in Logan screams

what comes next time will tell

Red Velvet Cake (ENGLISH SUBTITLES) - Duration: 5:00.

1 or 2 half of teaspoon red food colouring gel

120ml buttermilk at room temperature

1 Large egg at room temperature

150g sugar

75g salted butter at room temperature

150g all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

3/4 teaspoon baking soda

3/4 teaspoon vinegar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract or essence

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Preheat your oven at 350ºF/ 180ºC.

Grease the pan/tin with butter or non-stick baking spray and line with a circle of non-stcik baking paper. Set aside.

In a bowl add the flour, cocoa powder and bakind powder. Sift them.

Set aside.

Add the red colouring to the buttermilk.

Make sure that the colouring is well dissolved.

In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until it makes a uniform and lighter mixture.

Add in the egg and the vanilla, keep beating until it turns into a fluffy and lighter cream.

Scrape down the sides of the bowl every time it is necessary.

Add the dry and the liquid ingredients alternatetly, begining and ending with the dry ones.

Fold with a whisk.

In the last addictions, change the whisk for a rubber spatula.

I noticed that the batter wasn't very red, so I add 1 more spoon of colouring.

Add the vinegar to the baking soda, this will make a foam that you need to imediatelly fold in into your batter.

Pour the batter into the pan and tap it to get rid off some of the air bubbles.

For this video I doubled the measures of the recipe, I leave you the quantities in the description below.

Bake it for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted on the middle of the cake comes out clean.

When it has cooled down, run a knife around the cake in order to release it from the pan. Remove from the pan and peel off the baking paper.
