Hey guys it's Sagar from Tecworkz.

If you like playing games on your smartphone, and if you have been waiting for Fortnite

to be available for android smartphones, you are in for a treat.

At yesterday's Samsung Galaxy Note 9 event, Epic Games announced that Fortnite is finally

coming to Android, but there's a catch.

It will be exclusively available on Samsung's Galaxy devices at the beginning.

So if you don't own a Samsung Galaxy smartphone, you will have to wait a bit longer.

While the Note 9 goes on sale on 24th August, if you own any one of these Galaxy devices,

you can download and start playing Fortnite right now.

The game is not available as a regular download via google play store.

And to install it you can either use Samsung's Game Launcher app or Epic's new installer

by heading over to their website.

Easiest and safest way is to get it, is via Samsung's Game Launcher app.

That way, you wont have to worry about getting into many of the scams, that go on internet

regarding this game.

I downloaded it via Samsung's Game Launcher app, and it has been working great.

Just head over to the Game Launcher app, you will either see a Fortnite installer icon,

or a banner like this.

tap on any of them, and then use it to install the game on your device.

You might be asked to give your phone the permission to install the app, which is fine,

as you are installing an app file, and not downloading it from Google Play store.

If you have the Samsung Galaxy S9, S9 Plus, Note 8, S8, S8 Plus, S7, S7 Edge and the Tab

S3 or Tab S4, then you should be really exited to try the worlds most popular game on your

android device.

And obviously it will also be available on the Note 9, once it officially goes on sale.

Fortnite has been available on iPhone for sometime, Fortnite on android has been a such

long wait and I am really really exited for it.

Now this is the first time that I'm playing this game, and I am sure I'll not last long

at all in this first run, but lets give it a try.

The controls seem pretty straight forward, but everything seems so tiny on a smartphone.

OK here we go.

Let me try and search for a good spot to jump.

Now lets look for weapons and amo and somehow try to stay alive are at least a few minuets.

There we go.

Well that was quick.

I obviously need a lot of practice with this game, and I think, this is what I am going

to do for the next few days.

So if you don't see a lot of videos from me, blame fortnite for that.

If you have an android smartphone other than those mentioned above, you will have to go

to Epic Games's website, and register or sign up for an email invite.

That way you will get an Invite code as and when this game becomes available for other

android phones.

Hey this is the daily overpass my name is Eric and I make apps

Today let's ask the question

Do downloads in one country affect the rankings in another country?

okay so today I want to answer a question that came in the other day from

fliter 1990 who said hi I have a question about country app ranking as

far as I know if an app gets a lot of downloads and good reviews and it ranks

higher that's true what about other country markets for example if an app

gets downloads and reviews in India and Brazil will this app rank higher in also

in the u.s. US and UK markets now I'm just gonna speak exactly from my

experience because the algorithm is behind closed doors are always changing

it but they'll tell you different things about it what works and what doesn't and

a lot of its through due to experimentation so my biggest app when

it started getting a lot of downloads in one market I noticed all the other

markets started going up again even before I localized it those markets but

localizing that's the one thing that tripled the downloads almost overnight

and I've talked about this loads of times before right one way to test this

would be to have a look at your page in the different Play stores and the way

you do this would be to look at Google Play in the browser not on the

application on your phone and go through and change the query string where you

add HL equals the language so if you put HL equals es that will show you the

Spanish version of the page or HL equals Z H that we show you the Chinese version

and have a look at the rankings for each and every single one of those you'll see

the number of rankings like for mine is like 42 thousand you'll see that rate

that number of rankings is consistent for every single app store but if you

scroll down and look at the reviews it only shows the reviews for that language

so it doesn't use the Google Translate like we see in the Google Play console

it just shows the ones for that language so so what that tells me is that yes it

does make a big difference it makes a big difference in terms of the rankings

but it also might make a big difference in terms of you know just making a

decision like a user is going to go through and see this has a four star

ranking based on 40,000 reviews they're gonna treat that a little bit better

than they would something that has five reviews and a five star ranking if you

know what I mean or five rankings or five star rating so this is something I

definitely find to be the case just from my personal experience this may change

from time to time and of course there's also the user retention that plays a big

part in the rankings too but one of the big mistakes I'm

early on was I wanted to localize my app for different languages and one of the

first thing I did was I created a different app entry for every single one

so I had the Spanish version of the app and and the French version of the app

and everything like that and as different entries so the ASO efforts

were spread too far plus it's not really the way they want you to do it you

should be using localization too to use that properly and it it became first of

all it became unmanageable none of the reviews I was getting on the French

version of the app were really applying to the English version of the app so

eventually we consolidate consolidated everything into just one app and this is

one of the questions people ask me a lot should I just do lots of different

versions of the same app or should I just do one app and use localization

definitely use localization now that we're getting the repetitive content

policy on Google Play and we have four point three issues on the Apple App

Store definitely do one app use the localization features you could do this

in native easily on Android as the strings.xml it's the plist files on on

iOS but then you also every single you could we've done it on Corona SDK

rolling our own solution with an array of strings you know there's the

localization in ionic and Cordova I mean every single platform has a localization

and you really need to be using it it's something you should think about early

on so yes to answer your question fliter in 1990 yes as far as I know it

definitely works for my experience it works so that somebody may come forward

and say it's a coincidence or whatever but every time we've localized and we've

got language we got downloads in other languages it helped all across the board

so it's something I highly highly highly recommend doing so let me know if any of

you guys also have any alternative opinions there or if you've had a

different experience than I've had but I'm I'm like 99% sure that that's the

Hangang Nightview Tour starts on Saturday - Duration: 1:44.

For three months, Seoul plays host to a special event every Saturday night.

Residents are invited to beat the heat with a stunning riverside view of the capital.

Our Choi Si-young show us what the Hangang River Night Tour Festival has to offer.

At around 8 p.m., a tour guide introduces a group of sightseers to Seorae-seom Island,

a man-made island located on the southern part of Seoul's Hangang River.

Through individual earpieces, the guide narrates the history of the island and river.

The tour guide then takes the group to another man-made island called Sebit-seom Island,

more decorated with colorful lights than Seorae-seom Island.

Sebit means three colors, and the island is really a group of three smaller islands that

resemble a flower when viewed from above.

The stunning views mesmerize sightseers.

"I hope people enjoy the night view of Hangang River and experience the beauty of light."

At last, the guide ushers the group to their final destination, the moonlight rainbow fountain

on the Banpo Bridge that straddles the Hangang River

The fountain has 380 nozzles spraying rainbow-illuminated jets of water high into the air.

Around 200 lights shining on the fountain add to the allure of the scenery.

"The tour was really exciting.

I will definitely come again, and I'll highly recommend it to others."

"The moonlight rainbow fountain is one of the highlights of the Hangang River night

tour.

People flock here to beat the heat and enjoy the summer nights."

The tour will run every Saturday night until October.

U.S. and North Korea continue to talk on daily basis: U.S. State Department - Duration: 1:20.

There are growing concerns...

Washington and Pyongyang maybe experiencing some turbulence in terms of communication.

The U.S. State Department begs to differ, claiming the two sides have been keeping in

close contact.

Kan Hyeong-woo help us read between the lines.

The United States and North Korea are talking (quote) "virtually every day."

U.S. State Department Spokesperson Heather Nauert said on Thursday that Washington and

Pyongyang continue to have conversations on a daily basis.

She even mentioned the different ways they exchange views,... saying conversations are

happening by phone, message and email.

Asked if the two sides are planning another high-level gathering in the near future, the

spokesperson said there were no meetings nor travel plans to announce at the present time.

Her remarks come as U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton said earlier this week

that President Trump recently sent a personal letter to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un,...

offering to send Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to Pyongyang again to keep the denuclearization

talks going.

However, the State Department's latest comments on communication between the U.S. and North

Korea come amid rising concerns the denuclearization process has slowed to a snail's pace since

the North Korea-U.S. summit in June.
