hey everybody this is the Lego creator three-in-one treehouse treasures set
three and one means there are three official builds I'm going to show you
each of those builds in this one video you can only build one at a time though
the simplest of those three official builds is this skull cove it uses the
fewest pieces and it's very straightforward there are no real
secrets here beyond the fact that there are actual gems in the eyes of the skull
up there everything else is pretty much visible as soon as you look at it that
represents the x marks the spot where a treasure is supposed to be found but you
don't even have to dig for it it's just in the little you know underpass god
that's created from a couple of trees there looks like it's been boarded up on
one side and it's really pretty straightforward it's very close to the
shore somewhere and you just get to the treasure which is readily accessible
once you get to the place and in the treasure chest you will find a little
assortment of items pretty cool stuff for kids to find a couple of gold
nuggets actually and a sword hmm hopefully that's a foam sword and an
ingot these little stud pieces are actually hollow pieces a little bit more
useful than the usual and that's just that so just finish showing you this
from different angles to make sure you understand what's here now we'll move on
to the figures and on to the next official build the set has two kids one
boy one girl and they have fairly generic torsos that'll work just fine on
adult figures as well the kid on the right has the treasure map there and I'm
assuming that is a foam sword since he is carrying it and gotta think about
safety there but the girl has the telescope and she's also bringing along
a teddy bear now I think that the teddy bear should actually be part of the
treasure that would be found that's just my personal opinion they do not include
a hairpiece for the boy so he was always going to be wearing the pirate hat it's
nice that it includes the little feather coming off the side there
and beneath this hair no alternate face but a little bit more of the torso
Prentice II there we go now that's something a little bit more interesting
a little bit more intricate possibly requires a little bit more imagination
as well because you can choose what you want this here to represent it can
either be just a large playset that's been built up in the backyard for these
kids somewhere either you know they've put it together themselves or you know
gotten a little bit of help from some adults but they designed it themselves
you know so it's all just for imaginative play for the figures or you
could take the imagination upon yourself as the owner of the set and see this as
a proper pirate ship it's just depicted all super-deformed
but you know we can imagine a little bit of magic being involved in the scene and
allowing the kids to actually go out on an adventure or maybe kind of switch
between the two you know the the kids the minifigure kids imaginations allow
them to actually go off on adventures in their own imaginations however you want
to look at it it represents a pirate ship it's super deformed doesn't have
much for sails it's just these tool things off to the sides it does have a
rudder interestingly that can be steered from side to side it's a little bit
offset there but yeah you can you can turn it oh that's good
has a as a wheel there the captain is at the wheel presently and I can be rotated
around I mean just move him out of the way the figures do not get reconfigured
officially between the different configurations or the different official
builds and this has the treasure on it as well so the treasure chest is just
there in the front looks like it's overgrown just a little bit that makes
sense that's good idea and this time they changed up the treasure just ever
so slightly by using the gem pieces you know they're actually inserted into the
open or the hollow studs so they kind of represent rings I think with rubies in
them and that's about it for this one so still not too impressive but you know
it's a little bit more to it and I think that you can involve a little bit more
of your imagination in this build whore with
this build and that brings us to the main bill all right this is more like it
you know sometimes in these creator three-in-one sets you get like a
secondary build that's actually pretty good and some people would consider it
to be worthy of being the primary build but this is one of the more common cases
where the main build the one that's featured on the front of the box is at
least in my opinion like way way better then I either of the other options and
the others definitely use far fewer pieces so it's not a big surprise this
has the crow's nest up at the top so you can put somebody up there on Lookout and
this is a nice little upper part of the structure I like the shaping I like the
colors has a little bit of classic charm to it but is built pretty well you can
open up either side of the roof or both sides of the roof you can also open up
the windows here see those as as shutters if you want and then you can
also open the sides of the building both sides inside of there is just a bed a
rather flat and simple bed and maybe just a blanket and a very small pillow
or something it's just two pieces of tile they give you access to climb up to
that second level with a ladder here and that ladder can be pulled up if you want
privacy you can just fold it up like that
you can also kind of fold it in this way that's pretty cool you can see that
there's another bed down below that's built exactly the same this scared me
when I first saw it I was like why would they have kids having a plank walk that
leads to some rocks down below that's not cool well this is actually supposed
to be access and can kind of turn into a slide if you want you just where's that
down okay now that makes a lot more sense you can run up there should have
some handrails for safety but I think it's mostly gonna be used as a slide and
then there's the tire swing next to it so that's actually all good I really
appreciate these printed pieces for the the wood grain designs before we get all
the way down to the ground though I do want to finish up here you still have a
little place to use your imagination and go out on an adventure
in your mind you know the captain's helm there with the wheel you spin about and
I like how they put the teddy bear out as the the figurehead beneath the
bowsprit here so you can angle that a little bit differently you can kind of
bring it up a little bit if you want to see that a little bit more from the
ground bring it down but that's pretty much it for the upper build and that
brings us down to the ground itself you again get the x marks the spot a little
designator there but this has a man-made section behind it that would be you know
built into the base of the tree it's supposed to be locked up it's a secret
hiding space and if you saw that strange thing sticking out the back over here
well that's supposed to be is a way to extract the treasure easily for us not
for the minifigures but for us it just allows you to push this through and have
that stick out a little bit if you hit a little bit harder it'll come out a
little bit farther than that but again it's the same nougat colored you know
chest and inside you'll see some familiar items again with sword foam
sword and the two rings here or I guess you could just see those as little
pedestals for the gems if you want and that's it for the treasure and that's
pretty much it for the bill let me go ahead and bring this around to the other
side so you can see the rest of how it's built to think I'll close some of this
up a little bit more again as well with the roof segments up here and that's
just that yeah so you know it's pretty open around the back here but the sides
look I'd say pretty equally good this is pretty nice you know it has definitely
quite a lot of charm I definitely prefer this build any day over the others
that's treehouse treasures set definitely has a lot of charm even in
the simpler builds I would say if either of these interests you you kind of have
something that connects with you when you see the setting go ahead and build
them according to the instructions and then you
use the pile of pieces that are left over to expand and do some more you
treat it as a starting point and not a destination not a completed thing for
sure this is a lot more completed this feels like something you can just build
and then place somewhere and you know just add things around it but it's it's
just so much more complete and that just happens sometimes actually very
frequently with these three-in-one sets I don't have a problem with either of
these they're just simple and you can do more with the parts that are included I
feel like the value here is actually pretty good when you look at the
complete full version the volume of stuff that you get not sure about price
to part ratios and all but at least in the u.s. it feels like this is
appropriately priced for the size of the finished build that's it for my thoughts
on this one so thank you for watching hope you enjoy this I'll talk to you
again soon
you
