In this video I will show you
how to use Google to find jobs effectively.
If you are looking for how to find jobs on Google
then this video is for you. But before going forward make sure
you subscribe to me channel to stay updated with the videos.
As the stage has been set, let us get started.
To start using Google to find jobs, first head over to Google
and search for job like Web designer jobs
and hit enter.
Now Google shows job search results
near Hyderabad which is my current location
and all other web designer jobs.
If you see clearly it shows job title Web Designer,
the company which provides this job,
location where this job is available
and website from which Google has picked this job from.
Like LinkedIn, ClickIndia.com and LinkedIn again.
So Google fetches these jobs from various job protals
and shows in the job search engine.
On top it has lot of filters like
location, type of job,
full time job or part time job
and number of days this job has been posted. More and more filters are also available.
To apply more filters, click on the arrow
and click on More Filters.
It takes you to the separate web page where it shows all jobs and filters
as shown in the search results. Scroll down to see more jobs.
If you want to find particular job of particular type
at particular location, you can apply filters on the top
On top right now All filters are applied
If want to filter, add filter like Senior Designer
and location where you want this job to be
click on the location
it shows radius or distance from the location where you are now
Let me choose the radius of 300 KMs
Go for Date Posted
and click Past Week as I want to search for jobs posted past week.
To choose fulltime job, choose Type filter as fulltype.
It also shows number of filters applied.
It shows that 4 filters are applied here and choose Company Type
as Computer Services and choose Employer
to filter jobs based on the company that provides the jobs.
Let me choose Walking Tree Technologies
and it shows that I applied 6 filters and it is showing this jobs
matching all these filters.
So, based on all the filters I applied, there is only one job available.
If I want to search for jobs in other location,
click on the search bar on the top
and search for web designer jobs in NewYork and hit enter.
Now Google shows web designer jobs in NewYork.
If you choose any job
it shows all details of Jobs.
It shows various websites where this job has been posted.
You can click on these websites to apply the job
directly from these websites using Google.
These websites also posted this job and Google fetched it from them.
You can apply for jobs directly from here.
If you want to save the job
click on the save button beside the job.
So, it saves the job in 'Save' job to revisit it later.
Save tab shows all the saved jobs
and you can revisit them later.
Alert tabs shows all created alerts
As there are no alerts created, it is not showing anything.
Go to jobs section
and turn ON email alerts for this search.
If there are any
future jobs posted on websites matching the filter criteria
in google search you used previously,
just enable the alert and it sends you alerts daily.
So, if you go to alerts again
it shows alerts for the search criteria for which it has been enabled.
It sends emails based on new jobs
and to change the frequency of the emails
to daily, instantly or weekly.
So this is the best way
to use Google Job Search Engine
to find jobs on Google efficiently.
