The trade business growth juggle.
What are you talking about Jon?
Well, I'm Jon. As you know from Small Fish Business Coaching.
I help people grow their trades businesses and I use a very specific framework
to do it. I talked about building a marketing machine that brings all the work in and a sales machine
that wins those jobs, that converts those leads into jobs,
Operations machine that does the work, back-office machine
that holds it all together and make sure you get paid.
And I talked about managing the people, yourself as the leader and your team, your trades people and your office staff
to make sure everybody works well together. It's happy, there's a great culture
and everyone's pushing in the same direction.
And that's all very beautiful. Once you've got a business with those machines kind of humming
along, you've got a beautiful thing. You've done something you can be immensely proud of.
You're probably making good money. You're probably in control, not stressed
and not working so hard.
But the journey from today to there
is not that simple. It's not a linear progression. You can't just go 'Let's build a marketing machine'
and there it is. You start doing some more marketing
and you get a bit busy and so then you have to go and work on your operations machine
and grow people, hire people, or make it more systematic or take yourself out of it
so you have to go and work over there or maybe you go and work on your sales machine
or maybe you look at your back-office and you realize it's not as profitable as you thought
so you have to go and work on your sales and your margins and your budgeting.
Everything you do has another effect
and sends you over to somewhere else and that's what I mean by the juggle, by the marketing, by the sales,
by the operations, manage myself a bit but hire somebody new,
work on hiring, work on managing the people.
It's the juggle. You can't do all at once. It's not simple and linear. It's not straightforward.
It's a juggle. You've got to decide your priorities and they change on a daily basis almost.
They change certainly, reasonably, regularly and they change according of course to what you do
and to how your customers and new people react and to kind of the things that go on, the disasters that happened
because of course they do.
If you're going to grow your business, if you're going to go from small, an informal to larger and systematic
and structured, you're going to have to do the juggle.
It's quite fun and rewarding. It's quite difficult and of course that's what I help people to do.
We paint the framework and decide what the frameworks going to look like
and what those marketing machines and sales machines are going to look like
and then we direct our effort accordingly and I help people set the priorities and decide how the priorities
need to change
as that environment changes.

Who gets to determine how the cleaning is done?
We're going to talk about that today.

I'm Angela Brown, and this is Ask a House Cleaner.
This is a show where you get to ask a house cleaning question,
and I get to help you find an answer.

All right, on to today's show, which is from a house cleaner who just got a contract with an Airbnb.
And was quite surprised that the Airbnb host had a whole series of things they
expected done.
The house cleaner says, "Well, I'm the business owner, and I'm the one that determines what's
clean, so who's correct, the Airbnb host or the house cleaner?"
Wow. This is an awesome question.
It comes down to the fact that you've been hired to do a series of tasks.
Now, as a house cleaner, you have a specific routine that you do on an ongoing everyday basis.
The challenge with most house cleaners is that they're cleaning customers' houses on
a biweekly basis or a weekly basis, so when they come in, they start from a particular
area, and they work their way through the house, and they do a series of tasks, and
so every week or every other week, that rotation happens.
Now, when you're hired as an Airbnb clean-up person or to turn the rooms or whatever, chances
are, this is a daily job.
They have people coming in on a regular basis, and so they're going to be turning those rooms
very quickly.
In order to do a full maintenance clean on the house, that's probably not going to happen every day.
And so the Airbnb host in this particular scenario does have the right to
say there's a list of requirements that I have to turn this room or these rooms in order
to get them guest-ready.
Because we're regular house cleaners, we don't often know what the Airbnb host needs unless
you specialize in Airbnb's and this ends up being your niche market.
Now, something that I might recommend is that Airbnb's base their success like we do as
house cleaners on ratings and reviews, and so if you have an immaculate Airbnb or a home
that you go to visit, that shows up in the ratings and reviews.
People will make notes and comments and say, "Wow, this place was so clean.
It was amazing.
It just sparkled from every angle," and also the same is true about ratings and reviews
if the place is crappy, and it's not well-maintained, and it's dirty, and it has spots and things
like that.
Having a great review is paramount to the success of the Airbnb, and so it's very absolutely
okay if they go ahead and they make a list of things that are important to them because
they know that that will trigger ratings and reviews in a positive way so that more people
come back, which generate more money and more jobs for you.
In the end, it serves you both to have a really tidy place for those guests.
Now, there are things that you're going to be doing on a daily basis that are specific
to the Airbnb.
It won't be the entire place, unless it's like a vacation rental where the entire place
needs to be cleaned every time, but it is complete in all fairness okay for the Airbnb
host to say, "I do have a list of these 32 checkpoints that are important to me, important
to my business, and have been proven to be successful that customers appreciate these
things being cleaned."
Then that becomes your checklist.
If you want the job, my suggestion is that you make those areas just shine because although
you're the boss and you normally get to call all the shots and say how things are, it is
true that when we go to a customer's house or we go to an Airbnb and there are certain
priorities that that customer has, that becomes our goal post or our target of what we're
trying to achieve while we're there because we want to stay in business.
That's my two cents for today.
It's not who's in charge, it's how can you work together in order to achieve the same
results so that you both get paid.

채리나...임신이 힘들어지자! 결혼스토리, 아파트 위치 어디? - Duration: 6:29.
룰라의 2집 멤버로 데뷔후, 5집까지 가요활동을 가지면서,
5집 발매 당시에는 메인 보컬을 담당했던 김지현 씨의 탈퇴로 인해,
채리나가 잠깐 메인 보컬자리를 담당하기도 했었습니다.
룰라 그룹이 해체된 후, 재미교포 출신인 비키와 지니 두 사람과 같이 디바를 결성해,
3집 앨범까지 리더로 활동한 다음, 룰라 그룹이 다시 결성되면서, 6집부터 약 한달간 활동을 지속했습니다.
채리나는 8집까지 룰라에서 활동했고, 이 후 솔로로 1집 노래인 더 퍼스트 스텝이란 곡으로 활동을가졌지만,
흥행이 크게되지 않아서 그런지, 당시 회사의 기대에 미치지 못해서 그런지 2집까지는 나오지 못한 상태였습니다.
2001년도에는 여자 가수 4명으로 구성된 보이스코 팀을 꾸려서 활동할 예정이였으나, 제대로 빛을 보지 못한채 망해버렸습니다.
보이스코에 오디션을 보러온 연예인 중에는 나르샤 씨와 구혜선 씨가 있었다고 알려져 있네요.
2006년도에는 쿨 출신인 유리 씨와 같이 걸프렌즈란 팀을 만들었고, 2집까지 활동했지만 해체하게 되었습니다.

2012년도 10월, 서울 강남에 있는 한 술집에서 쿨 그룹인 김성수 씨의 전처가 사망하게 되었고,
그 당시 같이 있었던 박용근 또한 큰 부상을 당하게 되면서,
채리나는 박용근이 깨어날때까지 옆에서 정성껏 도와줬다고 합니다.
칼부림 사건 뒤, 김성수 씨의 아내를 찔렀던 범인은 잡히게 되었으며,
이 사건을 계기로 채리나와 현재의 남편 박용근은 커플사이로 발전하게 되었고,
연인 끝에 2016년 11월 11일 결혼에 골인하게 됩니다.
채리나 박용근 두 사람의 과거 이야기는 정말 어떤 한 영화의 장면에서만 볼 수 있을 듯한 스토리로 꼽히게 되었습니다.
박용근은 1984년 1월 21일로 채리나보다 6살 연하입니다.
강원도 속초시 출신이며, 영랑초, 설악중, 속초상고, 영남대를 졸업했고, 포지션은 유격수이며, 투타는 우투우타입니다.
2007년 신인드래프트 2차 1순위에서 프로입단을 했고, 15년도까지는 LG트윈스
17년도까지는 kt wiz에 활동하면서 지금은 상무 피닉스 야구단의 주루코치로 재직 중입니다.
다른일각에서는 채리나 김종국 둘 사이의 관계에 대해서 주목되고 있었습니다.
김종국 전 여친은 채리나라며,
찌라시 같은 글이 떠돌고 있는데 전혀 사실아닌 루머에 불과하니 오해하지 않았으면 좋겠습니다.
아무래도, 터보시절의 김종국과 룰라시절의 채리나였기에 오해를 부르게 되지 않았을까 싶습니다.
앞으로, 채리나 박용근 두 분 꼭 행복한 가정생활을 보냈으면 좋겠으며, 꾸준한 활동 기대하겠습니다.
채리나의 집은 한적하고 조용한 주택가에 위치하고 있습니다.
지은지 얼마 안 된 새 건물 같네요. 아주 깔끔합니다.

작은 정원도 있습니다.

출산을 앞두고 있는 채리나의 반려견 박영순을 부러워 하는 그녀들..
