♫ Music ♫

In the previous episodes, you accompanied our sailing from the south to the north of Croatia.

It was 10 very emotional days.

♫ Music ♫

But we finally arrived in Rijeka, a major city in Croatia,

where they recommended us to make the solar panel support.

Also, we bought some things that were missing for the boat

and a supporter made Thais a surprise.

You know what I got? You know what I got?

[flush]

An electric toilet! I'm going to sleep in the bathroom today!

For people who live aboard, woman mainly, having to stay there pumping to one side, turns to the other...

Pump up the other side, give a goodbye to number 2, number 2 comes back...

Nobody deserve that!

So thanks to our supporter, you know who you are.

You know it's the greatest gift, it's one of the things I wanted most on the boat.

The first thing that Beto did was install. I was saying "Go Beto, install it, install it, install it!"

[flush]

And speaking of supporter, there are some dear ones who give gifts like this, that I almost cry with emotion.

And I wanted to thank all the supporters who are always there with us.

For those who don't know, we've given up everything.

We have invested practically all our money in this new boat.

And our job is to generate content for you. Today we live only with the channel,

so the support of each one of you is very important for this project to continue.

And for those who are supportive, there are several things that we give as a gift, for all that you do.

What is receiving the video at the end of the week, having the WhatsApp group, we are much more accessible

to answer questions, if you want to make a video with us ...

And it's something that we do exclusively to our supporters.

So if you can, support our channel and we are super happy with all this support and the affection is giant.

♫ Music ♫

What's up Betinho, did you like our new anchorage?

I think that's what we're talking about, it's going to be less than 10 euros a day.

And we're in town.

♫ Music ♫

We arrived in Rijeka and found Damir and Fox.

The super nice guys who would make our support of the solar panels.

After measuring, they asked 3 days to get back and install it.

They arranged a spot for us at the port of Rijeka with a friend.

This vacancy cost us around 10 euros a day, with water included. So much less than in the marinas around here.

The city of Rijeka was industrial, it manufactured torpedoes for the war and has a very strong naval industry.

But it is changing to be more touristy.

♫ Music ♫

We could also do some groceries and buy things that were missing for the boat.

Well, we solved one more of the items lost by the wind, the floater.

For this, we had the help from Zed, our neighbor who lives in a boat next door.

He took us in his car in the best stores and with that, we were able to quote the price.

♫ Music ♫

Another mission accomplished. Fire extinguishers. 54 euros both.

♫ Music ♫

Done, we have a wind sensor on the third try, because whoever accompanied us here,

saw we tried twice to change that part here and we couldn't.

And now we did. It was 140 euros to exchange only this little part here.

But there was nothing we could do, right?

We were researching AIS price and everything ...

But the service here was very bad, very rude.

I don't know if it's because they don't speak the language and then they don't understand what we want to say...

Sometimes they also think we're talking in a rude way, I don't know ...

I know it didn't work out very well and we said "Let's keep this and we'll buy the AIS another time".

I'm trying a local Coke.

Local Coca Cola.

Good!

And I'm going to try the beer, yesss!

- Looks like Tubaína. - Does it look like Tubaína?

Now we're going to eat some local food.

What are we going to eat?

♫ Music ♫

It's obvious that I bought some stuff.

Even here, where almost nobody speaks English, I managed to buy honey,

that I wanted to buy honey.

And she was able to recommend me which was the most common, because everything is written in a very crazy way.

But I bought honey, I bought red berries, I bought bananas.

Oh, I bought some seeds, to put in my garden that I want to do on the boat.

Of parsley.

But here is a very local place, only people who live here shop here,

It's very close to where the boat is.

There is the fish market, very nice, we have eaten a lot of fish these days, but there is a lot of fish.

Then I'll do the conversion to see more or less if it's worth it.

Shrimp was 150, 100 ... The tuna was beautiful, the tuna was wonderful, 140 kunas.

It would be about 80 reais, which would be about 10, 20 euros ...

Very nice things, everything fresh, everything very fresh.

♫ Music ♫

Our sunday started very busy here.

I'm going to climb the mast now, to put the wind sensor.

It's very calm, it's not shaking, it's not windy ...

What else? And start putting the net for Google!

I'm up here trying to get the wind sensor.

Look at our solar panels!

♫ Music ♫

Beto, please define the European summer of 113F.

I'm sweating a little here.

Guys, I asked him if he was wet ... You can't see because it's blue, but ...

I had asked if he had wet his shirt, he said no, but his shirt was soaked.

Look!

Worker sweat.

Well, I'm doing bookkeeping here in my little notebook, which I practically do every day.

Because it's good to see where the money is going.

Think about it when you buy your boat.

We bought this boat and everyone said the price was great.

Yes, the price was great, but we knew we would have to do some things.

There are lots of little expenses that we sometimes do not realize.

Installation, for example, of the solar panel, you need to install the sockets, selector switch,

Batteries and stuff...

So all these little little things you think are simple. Yes, it's simple.

But for example, this month we have already spent around 5,000 euros in total.

Including food, including everything, most practically the boat.

And we knew that value.

So when we bought the boat for 82, we knew it would end up being around 90 or so.

Which is more or less what it's going to be.

So it's always good to think about it.

Because you are going to buy the boat and it will have something to do, however much this one was complete.

But if you're going to live aboard, there's a lot you need, so remember that, okay?

The panels have been installed and now we have two of 260W, generating on average 150A per day.

Since we installed, we have not had any more energy problems.

The guys also got us a used 4-HP outboard, 50-meter chain

and fixed our bimini ruined by the winds.

Now, to celebrate ...

Our targa, our anchor, our chain, our hood, our ... what else?

Everything!

A super hot dog ...

And a beer!

And with all this done, Thais took the flight to Spain to resolve the documentation.

I started a lonely trip to Trieste, where we will meet again.

♫ Music ♫

This solitary sailing you will see in the next video, next week.

Don't forget to leave your like and sign up for the channel, it is very important to us.

Hug and good winds!

25 MORE Things People Did Before The Internet - Duration: 8:30.

The things people did before the internet wasn't all that different from today.

Okay, that's not true, it was wildly different.

The internet has radically altered our behaviors, how we communicate, and how we get information.

From phone books to checkbooks, things were not so convenient back in the day.

However, there were quite a few perks of not having the internet around as well.

Ready to travel back in time to a simpler age?

I'm Mike with List25 and Here are 25 More Things People Did Before The Internet.

25.

Used the classifieds to find jobs Before Indeed.com, LinkedIn, and Monster.com,

people found jobs in the newspaper, got referrals from friends, and looked for Help Wanted signs

while driving down the road.

24.

Spoilers weren't a thing Television programming was widely different

before the internet but even so, few had to worry someone would spoil who killed J.R.

on the hit show Dallas.

Everyone had peace of mind.

23.

Letters to the editor was the only way to give your bad opinion

With social media and Twitter not around, the only way for people to let other people

know their hot take was to either write a letter to the editor and hope it was accepted

or tell people face-to-face at parties.

22.

They wrote fan mail Rather than going to a celebrity's social

media profile and writing to them, people sat down and took the time to write a long

letter by hand, and that's if they knew the address.

They'd buy a stamp and send it through the mail.

Even then, they'd likely still be ignored.

21.

Manually change all their clocks When daylight savings time hit people like

a hammer, rather than depending on their computers to change the time for them, they had to go

throughout the house and change all the clocks themselves.

Often, people would forget a clock and it would totally mess with their heads for weeks.

20.

Used their imaginations When people got bored, they used their imaginations.

It's called "daydreaming."

They didn't pull up Facebook to mindlessly scroll until something new happened.

They thought endlessly about all kinds of things and pretended to be other things or

other places.

Turns out, it was really good for them.

19.

The newspaper was their pre-internet The local and national newspapers told families

everything they needed to know.

From weekly television schedules to movie showtimes, newspapers were the primary source

for current events.

18.

Kids passed actual notes in class Back in the day, kids didn't have WhatsApp

to text their friends over wifi.

Instead, they wrote a small note on a piece of paper and had other classmates pass it

over to their friend.

It was a hazardous process, especially if a teacher caught them in the act and read

the note out loud in front of the class.

17.

Watched a lot more television Television and cable television was all the

rage before the internet.

The fear it would brainwash people and destroy society was a common refrain at the time,

much like the fears about the internet today.

Cable was for rich people and network television was for everyone else, but one thing remained

the same, all people did was watch it.

16.

Balance their checkbook People couldn't go online to check their bank

account balance.

Instead, they had two options: Walk into the bank and ask or track all their checkbook

transactions in their register.

It was a tedious task, but it had to be done.

15.

Skills were much harder to learn Without the internet, skills and learning

how to do things weren't easy and readily available.

If you didn't know how to fix a toilet, you called a plumber.

You couldn't pull up YouTube.

14.

People owned a Rolodex The only way to keep in touch with people,Â

remembering their names, numbers, and addresses, was an obsolete product called the Rolodex.

13.

You likely met your spouse in college or a bar

Online dating, of course, didn't exist before the internet.

Most people met their spouse at college, in a bar, or because your friend set you up.

12.

The phone book was a staple in every household If you needed to get the phone number of a

restaurant, business, or neighbor, the only way to do it was to have a phone book handy.

It was a massive yellow tome with thousands of phone numbers inside.

11.

You actually went to your high school reunion Today, Facebook lets you keep tabs on all

your high school classmates, including old boyfriends or girlfriends.

Naturally, it makes high school reunions a little moot.

Before all that, to find out your ex ballooned to 250 pounds, you went to your high school

reunion.

10.

People remembered things Without Google at their fingertips, people

needed to retain a large amount of information, like phone numbers, addresses, birthdays,

and what year Star Wars: A New Hope released in theaters.

9.

Rented movies at Blockbuster If you wanted to watch a movie, you had a

few options: Go to the library, buy it at a store, or did the most common option - rent

it at a Blockbuster.

The worst part about that was forgetting to return the tape and racking up tons of late

fees.

8.

Pop culture news took forever Nerds wanting to know about their latest movies

usually waited months to hear little nuggets in their favorite magazines.

This usually created rumors and word-of-mouth that spread through the sub-niches but ultimately

stayed unknown.

Of course, today, people get a daily fix on whatever they want to know.

7.

Spoke with their family at the dinner table Before the internet, specifically the internet

on cell phones, families actually sat around the dinner table and spoke to each other rather

than looking at their screens.

6.

People weren't afraid of missing out Fear of missing out, of course, is a big problem

today.

With constant feeds, it creates a feeling of dependency and needing to know what's going

on.

Before this, unless you knew a friend was at a party without you, fear of missing out

wasn't nearly as common as it is today.

5.

People made mix tapes Getting music before the internet was substantially

harder.

This was especially true if you were into subgenres, independent bands, and unknown

groups.

The best thing was when a friend made you a mix tape of all their music.

These personalized gifts might have been small, but they meant a lot.

4.

Focused Without the vast amount of distractions the

internet provides, people keenly focused on the task at hand.

Few other things took them away from whatever they were working on or engaged with.

3.

Held eye contact Being social before the internet required

you meet up with people and hold eye contact when you spoke to them.

You couldn't pretend to get a text or look something up quick on Google.

2.

They sold most their junk at pawn shops To get quick cash before eBay, Amazon, and

Etsy, people took their electronics and high valued stuff to pawn shops or sold it at a

garage sale.

1.

They were generally unreachable Before the internet, the only way to contact

someone was to call them when they were at home.

Otherwise, they were pretty much unreachable.

So, is there anything else people did before the internet we may have missed?

Jeep Wrangler JL Mopar Removable Roof Rack (2018) Review & Install - Duration: 7:07.

Hey guys.

Today I'm here with the Mopar removable roof rack fitting all 2018 JL Wranglers with a

hardtop.

So everybody knows that storage space inside the Wrangler is very limited.

So that's why outside storage solutions really come in handy.

So this is for the JL owner looking to carry all of that extra cargo on top of the Wrangler

that they don't want in the back of their Wrangler for any beach trips, long road trips,

going out fishing or camping, or really any other time that you need to carry some extra

cargo.

This is going to be very easy removable, as it says in the name.

You're gonna need two hand tools to get this off and put it back on.

So you can do this on the go when you're using it and you can take it off and store it away

since it is lightweight, very easily whenever you're not using it.

So I would like to mention that Mopar and myself do not recommend mounting up any heavy

canoes or any heavy paddle boards just because of the weight restrictions and limitations

on the actual hardtop, not necessarily the roof rack.

Nonetheless, this fits very well and it looks very clean compared to other big and bulky

roof racks that you do see on the site.

So I think that definitely is a benefit of this.

So at the moment, this will roughly be $300.

And with Mopar, you usually are paying a premium.

However, the quality is definitely held up into this product.

So there are similar options on the page that are less expensive than this, however, not

by much.

So if you trust Mopar and want the quality out of Mopar, then this product is definitely

for you.

Personally, I think this fits very well.

It's very easy to put on and take off and the quality is definitely up there.

Plus this comes with a one-year limited warranty for a little bit of peace of mind.

So I think that the price is definitely fair.

So install is gonna be a very easy one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter.

It only took me 15 minutes to get this rack on with two hand tools.

And one of the hand tools is actually given to you by Mopar.

So speaking of the install, let's jump into that now.

The tools that I used for my install were a flat-head screwdriver and the provided four

millimeter Allen key.

So the first step of our install is to loosen up our mount so that we can mount it up on

our Jeep.

I'm gonna take a flat head screwdriver and go over to the side cover here.

There is a little lock.

So as soon as you turn it sideways, you'll be able to pull that cover off and then we

have access to the inside bolt where we can loosen up this mount here.

Now we can take our provided Allen key and loosen this bolt up.

We wanna make sure that we loosen it up in order to get it on the Jeep.

But we do not want to fully take it off.

So you can see that our mount is loose.

I'm gonna do that on both sides.

What I'm doing here is just putting my finger on the back to make sure that it's not completely

out, just giving myself a reference of the length of the actual bolt.

They are on pretty tight right out of the box.

So now we're ready to mount this up and test fit it on our JL.

You wanna make sure that the thicker portion of the roof rack is facing towards the front

of the Jeep and they will also have a sticker on here for reference.

I have another person helping me because I am short and I don't wanna scratch our roof.

So you also wanna make sure that on a four-door that it is roughly seven inches back, and

on a two-door, you wanna make sure that it is roughly five inches back.

So now we can install our second rail.

So the spacing between the back rail and the front rail will depend on you and your preference.

So now that we have both of our rails on here, we're just gonna go around and tighten everything

down with the same provided Allen key.

And they did notice a couple of things that I do really like about these rails.

First off, they are very lightweight.

However, you can tell that they're very sturdy.

They're made of a metal material with a black powder coat finish on them so they're not

gonna rust at all or they're gonna resist rusting over time.

They're gonna last a long time from the quality of these being Mopar.

They also come with a little rubber gasket right here.

So when you put this clamp over and this part in the rail, the bottom part of this rail

has rubber on it.

So it's not going to damage your hard tops paint and the same thing goes for this.

It's not going to scrape this metal on your hardtop here and take up any of that paint.

So you can just go around and tighten everything down making sure that everything is seated

correctly.

I also like how you can adjust this outward.

You can do fine-tune adjustments to really how you want it to fit and it's very easily

adjustable on the go.

All you need is this Allen key and you can move it back and forth if you want a whole

different cargo with it.

So that is a great feature.

It also has that rubber material on top in the middle.

So this is gonna be good for items to not slip while they are on here and just give

a little bit of extra cushion.

So like I mentioned, on the front rail, you wanna make sure you're about seven inches

back on a four-door and about five inches back on the two-door.

And you just wanna make sure that you don't mount up this front one on your T-top since

they are removable.

So after that, you just wanna test it make sure it's in place and then we can throw our

covers back on.

You can just take that same flat-head screwdriver and turn that back in place and that cleans

up the look of the rail.

So that's gonna wrap it up for my review and install in the Mopar removable roof rack fitting

all 2018 JLs with a hardtop.

VideoCast #29: Freemasonry - An Open Door for Demonic Torment - Duration: 31:01.

This is the Deliverance Ministry.FM Episode number 29.

Hello again everyone.

Welcome to another episode of Deliverance Ministry.fm where we give you proven insights

about the demonic realm and deliverance ministry so you can wage spiritual warfare more effectively.

My name is Dr Don Ibbitson and I'm very happy to be here with again with my cohost, Dr Phyllis

Tarbox.

Hello.

Hi Don.

Good to have you here.

We enjoy doing these.

Um, we're well on our way.

I don't know what this is.

Episode Twenty nine.

And at said time flies as they say when you have fun and we do have to have some fun as

we're doing these and we want to appreciate your.

Thank you for those of you who are sending in comments, suggestions.

In fact, some of the topics that we're going to be having, even this one today and topics

coming up or are things that we received for our listeners about topics that they'd like

to hear about.

We listened.

So we do listen.

And today's topic is about freemasonry.

We've heard that from people.

We've had clients come in here who have and people with family histories of it.

In fact, we're going to talk about some of the biggest success stories we've had, people

that we've dealt with in their background and over the past 18 years and we want to

just give you some insights about what you need to know and what maybe you're a resource

for you and some things you can can help you with if you, if you're in it now actively

or have a family member in it or for many people even not in it, but have it in their

bloodlines.

And we can see that's, that's, that's certainly can affect people to be.

And so, uh, that's our topic.

We're going to talk about freemasonry, encourage you to listen right to the end.

We're going to tell you about how to get access to all of our free resources that we have

on our website.

We've got a lot of things for free there.

We have paid resources, paid training, things of course, but a lot of free resources and

we still have an opportunity for you to get a free copy of our deliverance ministry plain

and simple manual for leaving a review for us and we'll tell you about that.

And then we're going to kind of pre announced today, and I used the word preannounce because

I think the best one that applies because we're not ready to announce it is we're going

to be having, we're going to be calling it like a ministry partners program or of some

kind where you can help us, um, by bike consistently monthly giving, um, expand the presence of

deliverance ministry and churches and also make it available to more people.

That's part of our calling is to, is to increase the scope of deliverance ministry.

So that'll be coming at some point in the future.

So stay tuned for that.

Phyllis.

We've seen it so often with people coming in to see us and certainly in seminars, they

talk about freemasonry, about her involvement in their family history.

And many Christians I think still really don't understand or maybe choose maybe sometimes

not to believe the spiritual implications of being involved in freemasonry.

And so that's why we're doing this topic.

And um, we hope it'll be a benefit to you.

I think it's the easiest and most simplest way to start is to talk about freemasonry

for just, you know, introduce it in a very general sense.

What is it?

There's lots of resources out there, books and whatnot that you can read for Christians

about freemasonry.

But, and I'm going Kinda read here from my hand have actually that we have, it's that

says that the freemasonry is basically a worldwide organization that promotes the glorification

of man by his own achievements both within and outside masonry and supported by a tightly

controlled but brotherhood of masons to the total exclusion of a believing faith and trust

in the Lord Jesus Christ.

It's a secret society.

Yeah.

To which members are bound by powerful Olsen penalty, sworn on pain of tortures, death

at the hands of brother Masons to protect secrets.

And it's a mixture.

You'll see.

It's a mixture of a lot of things.

You've got elements of Hinduism, catabolism, Cabal, ism rather rosy Christianism and some

and in Greek mythology mixed in it.

They're not seen.

They're not compatible with biblical Christianity in any way, shape or form.

Even though you'll see some of the ceremonies involved, they'll have the Bible in it and

invoke the Bible in it, and it's a. and really there's so many of these claims are false

and it really does.

Free Masonry does serve to cause spiritual blindness and darkness.

God's people.

I think it's another one of those instances where God himself says in Hosea four, six,

he says, my people perish for lack of knowledge and ignorance is not bliss in this, in this

topic.

So, you know, there's different elements, the different names, but, but, but that's,

you know, like I say, you can read more, but that's basically what it is.

It's a secret brotherhood.

So let's talk about why it's dangerous, why it's an open door for demonic torment.

Well, you mentioned secrecy.

I mean the oath that they take of secrecy.

That was my, my, my appeal to someone that I was dealing with, you know, they know you

don't know what's going on totally inside the masonic lodge because it's so locked down

in it secret.

So on that basis alone, there's a lot of pride.

There was a lot of secrecy that's involved with that.

Uh, it's got a hierarchy level where you step up the degrees up all the way up to the 32nd

and then the blessings on the 33rd, I mean, and so if you get into that place of pride,

it's pride of elevation and climbing the ranks.

But think about that in the Bible about climbing the ranks in that regard and having your degrees

be based on who you are

and the secrecy thing, right?

The demonic kingdom works in darkness.

And so look, typical Colton, different things.

Anytime there's a secret aspect to it, that should be a red flag, right?

Right.

And the God, the God that the God that they, they speak of can be based on whatever religion

that you're in, like you had mentioned.

So it can be Jehovah, Allah, Buddha, Mohammed or Jesus.

But your petitions and your prayers in the lodge are always addressed to the great architect

of the universe.

So I think that's a little.

That's a.

that's a danger, right?

And there's not the god of Abraham, Isaac.

And then the loyalty is always to the lodge.

It's not not not to God.

So in that place, there will be a lot of idolatry.

Idolatry, put it in front, right?

No need for salvation because there's no real sin that's not excusable.

Right?

Jesus is not the needed Messiah for redemption of the human race.

I mean they'll tell you that.

So to me, those are all huge open doors because it's not based on a platform of, of Christianity.

It's.

Although it's in many of the churches and a lot of the Scottish rite places, you'll

find the free masons being led in a church so they can.

They can tweak it and they can Morphett, but it's the basic formation of the platform that

it was established on.

These are the basic tenants of free masonry

and I think so many people get in at the low end.

They don't.

And they don't necessarily rise up the chain or up the up the ladder, if you like, and

these different degrees, but at the, if you look at the 30, the 32nd level, they, they

acknowledge that, that Lucifer is God.

You say that Satan, he's the real light years, the real life.

So, but a lot of people don't see that they, because they don't, they don't get that high

and get that kind of information.

So that's problem is a problem for sure.

And then there's the initiation ceremony, which I find completely fascinating.

You know, the first thing that they do is they, they, they hoodwink, they put a hoodwink

like a blindfold.

It's, that's what a blind, that's where they put a blindfold on there, the.

And so one of the things that I've found is that, that always blinds people pretty much

a similar being spiritually blinded, right?

Right.

Their clothing, when they walk in, they have the move, remove all their clothing, um, because

their clothing is linked to their old identity.

So the person is basically stripped of their identity and given a new identity, they actually

have to walk into their initiation ceremony in pajamas.

So later they're given garments which identify them as Mason.

So first thing they do is they remove their clothes, remove all their old valuables, their

money keys, rings, other jewelry that they have to leave.

Um, these have to do with a person's value, both personal and material.

There God has given intrinsic worth and value as a person is lost.

So the personal value now comes from how they value free masonry.

Then there, then there's this, this, the third thing is the slip shot, slipshod slipper and

checkerboard.

The right foot of the initiates has a slipper on it and that's designated to make their

walk slippery.

Their path is not clear, but it's a mixture of darkness and light and their ability to

find the path for their life and fulfill their destiny becomes uncertain.

So I think that's unusual.

The and getting back to the hoodwink, the things that they have them, where those are

the effects that are basically put over the soul hoodwink is is the covering of the head

covering of the intellect, the mind it surrendered to freemasonry, so right there when I pray

deliverance for anyone who is in the Masonic Lodge, I always pray against the deaf and

dumb spirits because you'll see it.

They've been hoodwinked, hoodwinked, but even in the family bloodline, you know you don't

necessarily have to be in the in the masons, but you could be a family member of that.

That spirit of deaf and dumb, however it got into your family.

Bloodline is going to come down.

The family bloodline with things like double mindedness or mental illness or mind binding.

Those are all areas that when I pray for people who have that I and I see that hood in the

spirit.

When I pray for them, I'll ask them if they've had any members and freemasonry and they'll

usually say yes.

That's a good point.

To just interject something quickly.

We're talking about freemasonry, but we talked about generational things and curses.

There's other great podcasts that we have to find the one on generational curses, but

this whole notion of spirits will travel down through the lines, so you're in, maybe you're

not in freemasonry, but your grandparents, your grandfather made these vows that were

part of the part of these initiation ceremonies and therefore that was the open door for that

spirit to enter into your bloodline,

right?

Then they put this cable thing around you, so it's called a cable toe where the person

is bound and they're actually led by somebody else, so it's significance is that you're

actually surrendering your freewill to the Masonic Lodge.

That's pretty intense.

Yes.

Then there's a dagger that's put to the left breast, which is the heart area at the seat

of emotion and it's exposed.

It's his bows and submitted to freemasonry.

The dagger is again another piece of submitting, so all the elements of the soul, the mind

and the emotion are are surrendered in this initiation

and we're supposed to be surrendering our life to Christ.

Right?

And so this surrendering to a different authority that.

And so it just makes you wonder many times how Christians can just, who know the truth

and the Bible at some level can be part of that.

Right?

It's just baffling.

Yeah.

And so, you know, earlier you had said early the earlier walk, the degrees of walking in

or really just to surrender your whole body soul to them on, they don't get introduced

to a lot of the other teachings until they climb the ladder and get more into it.

So, you know, there's a lot of this, a lot of this has a big effect on health too because

you know, when you're, when you're walking, you're actually worshiping a lot of the gods

of Egypt that are built into the masonic lodge and you know, Egypt Borsa and the, that's

where the plagues all came in, right?

As far as.

So in freemasonry you're involved in direct worship of gods of Egypt.

So in addition to all the things that you pronounce on yourself, basically, you also

get what God has pronounced on you.

All the diseases of Egypt.

So you know what, what we'll see is a lot of times, and I know you've seen this too,

is the women are the ones that suffer with the long suffering, curses like the long suffering

and lost the wives of the Masonic Lodge members.

I'm not quite sure how that works, but I've seen it happen over and over again.

The man joins, the wife comes down with some kind of long suffering disease.

Well, it doesn't, I, I, as far as you know, we've seen that in many people.

But to personalize it, that was really what was happening in my mother's life.

My mother was an active member in the order of eastern star, which of course is the women's

arm of free masonry.

And um, she uh, was, got, ended up with Parkinson's disease in the Garson, see it probably in

her seventies.

And um, you know, what happened was her, is that this spirit of free masonry was, was,

was active in her life and I believe it was a source of the sickness that came upon her.

And you know, years when we got saved, you know, we came to Christ, we would witness

to our family members and I would try to share with my mother about God and about Jesus.

And you know what, she'd sit in church and she'd cry and she cries, she listened, but

she was not ready to.

She would not receive and believe and receive Jesus as their savior it over some period

of years, you know, we'd be sharing with her and she would take her to church.

One time we were visiting her and her at her home.

And, and um, in while we were there, of course we are sharing with her two significant things

happened.

One was she lost the ring that she's a little fivestar ring, the Pentagram ring that they

have, that the eastern star.

Have she lost it while we were there.

And the second thing is one night while we were staying there at the home, my wife had

a nightmare.

And in this nightmare, uh, it woke her up, it scared her.

She told me the next morning and this nightmare, she saw a demonic spirit.

And she says she knew right away it was that demonic spirit of eastern star and that demonic

spirit of eastern star spoke to her and it said, you leave her alone.

She's mine.

And now I got to say in the timeline here, we were not involved in deliverance.

Ministry, didn't know that much about spiritual warfare, the demonic realm at that time.

But she knew that that was, that demonic spirit of eastern star was speaking about my mother.

And it was basically warning my wife to leave her alone because we've been witnessing to

her and you know, quite truthfully at that time, we didn't know really how to handle

that, what to do as we progressed and learn more.

We learned about binding and loosing demons and we talk about that in other podcasts as

well.

But over a period of time and over a period of years, the good news and now the end of

the tunnel, know the rest of the story as Paul Harvey used to say, um, my wife let her

to the Lord in the back bedroom of our home about a year before she passed away.

She was just ready, there was an opportunity there to lead her to the Lord and um, and

that was years after that incident happened with the dream that I was telling you about.

So the good news is my wife received Jesus before she passed away, but that devil, that

free masonry spirit in her was tormenting her, was hiding and keeping her in bondage

to all these other things, but part from what else, where else was going on in my mother's

life and opendoor she might've had, I know that that spirit was, was very, very active.

Now for me personally and for my sister's never been involved in eastern star or me

and free masonry, but we know that that spirit was active because as I say, it manifested

to my wife.

Well, you know, I've never been involved with the eastern star.

Any type of free masonry either.

And I had questioned my family members at length because I have a predominantly English

background.

And so my brothers were quick to tell me no, you know, we got involved a little deem Olay,

but we pulled out.

But nobody in our family, nobody's family.

So, you know, I've put off saying the prayer because we have a good prayer that you can

get a hold up at our website and we'll talk about that later.

But I, I, I, I didn't want to say the prayer because I didn't want to have to get into

that if there wasn't in the plan we bloodline.

And so long story short, I decided one day that I would just do it to be better safe

than sorry.

Right.

So, um, I started to say the prayer and my face, the side of my face went numb and my

hand went numb as these things left.

Now that caused me to question a whole lot more because I knew there was a manifestation

that was with it.

Now again, most of my families said, no, it's not in the family bloodline, but one day,

you know, you asked the Lord and he is so faithful to reveal things.

I'm in, in my bedroom and I pull out the drawer, take out my grandmother's little thing that

had a beautiful term bracelet in it.

And I noticed there was a secret compartment underneath it.

And so I lifted it up and there it was the little slipper that they give you as an initiate

to the eastern star.

This thing has been sitting by my bed forever, right?

So I take it out to the trash.

It's 14 karat gold, but it's like, it's like the size of the tip of your fingernail.

It's very small.

It's got the evil eye on it and everything.

I take it out to the garage and I go to throw it away and I dropped it and it bounced and

it disappeared.

And I said, Lord, you know, how am I going to find that thing?

And really I felt like the Holy Spirit said to me, it's in a look and look inside some

air conditioning grids.

So I went out there, back into the garage, try to find this thing.

I shook it out and sure enough it fell out.

So I took it out through an one of those great big industrial sized garbage pails outside

of my house thinking it was gone.

And you know, my husband came home that night and said, hey, look what I found in the trash.

And he brought her right back.

I knew there was some stuff that was powerful.

Would that, would, that masonic subway finally got it out.

We both agreed and it was gone and that was good, but you know, that, that interested

me when you know, you see that kind of manifestation, especially on my face and on my hand.

And so I thought to myself, well, how could that have.

But my mom was married to a 32nd degree, Mason, her step, her stepfather, her second husband

now that had no blood relationship to me, but my mother slept with him before she married

him.

And when my mother died, you know, a lot of those familiar spirits came my way.

So if there was any residual, would that because of her involvement, plus it was in her home.

Um, I'm not really sure how that all works.

But again, gone soul ties, broken, everything canceled with that.

But you'll see that.

I think one of the other fascinating stories that I share on this, I'd like it to have

a happy ending.

It really doesn't yet was one of the pastors came in for prayer and he was, I won't say

what's portion of it, but he was the international Grand Poobah, you know, they have a very long

name with every one of their designations, but he was the international head of one of

these sections of the masonic lodge and he wanted to come in through deliverance and

so, you know, we, we talked and we shared and we had a few sessions and then I recognized

that he wasn't willing to give up that title and I said to him then I can't really pray

for you for, for deliverance.

And he said, why?

And I said, because you're, you belong to the Masonic Lodge and you're very high ranking.

And he said, well, why would you say that I'm a pastor?

I brought this into my church.

It's a good man society.

We all are good Christian believers.

And I said, well, because it's not based on a Christian platform and the fruit of what

it's rooted and grounded in with Andrew Pike and how this was established is not a Christian

establishment.

And you know, I would not want to pray deliverance for you and have you be hurt like if this

is a very large open door.

I said, plus you already know that I don't know anything that goes on inside the masonic

lodge so you're kind of looking down on me right now, aren't you?

And he was like, well you don't know.

And I said, so there's pride.

And even with that open door of pride, if I prayed for you, it would come back in and

slam you.

Now this was a man who was significantly impaired with health issues and I won't say what they

are, but they were very, very, very bad.

And he was still holding onto the fact that it was still okay for him to do it.

Now, in the meantime, he said to me, no one in the history of the Masonic Lodge has ever

stepped down from a position like this.

Because again, he was the international head.

And I said, well, you know, I don't know what to tell you, but you're really leaving yourself

wide open now.

I will.

I will tell you, I did have a dream too, as part of it, that the, that, the, those that

were involved with his, that was a whole group of people that came in to actually throw cold

water on me because that was what was the dream was about.

And I knew it was about the masonic rites, that Dream I had in the meantime while him,

that I was being ganged up on in the spirit because they didn't want him to leave.

But he actually did leave.

He left the Masonic Lodge.

He resigned his post, uh, now he didn't come back in for deliverance, but it was such an

open an eyeopener for me because of the strength of the, the dedication to the same.

Even in the midst of all this infirmity and all these open doors that he really, he had

to make a choice.

Uh, and he said nobody ever laughed but that, but, but he heard me.

He heard me about the open doors of pride in secrecy, which I think ministered to him.

And he did step down.

But again, just so anti biblical, both of them, you know, and he was a pastor.

Yes.

And that's it.

There's so many churches and pastors, yes man of God and certainly women have gotten

on the, on the women's side of things just get really sucked into this deception.

Do they don't see the damage and the and they don't recognize, I think the damage that it

brings upon not only them but potentially other generations to come.

Well, their argument is that the Scottish rite is not the same as you know, the original,

but still when you look at.

I mean Andrew Pike is the one who brought the Scottish rite over, I believe, into the

United States and he, he was not a Christian man so.

Well, and that's it.

And there's, there's just different names.

I mean you're sitting here wondering what the names are, different elements of these

secret societies.

And there's different groups and you know, like parcel lists, you know, just, you know,

we talked about the order of eastern star know people talk about the order of Amaranth,

oddfellows, Buffalo's, druids, foresters, orange elks, Moose, egos, lodges.

Well, the shriners, you have to be a 32nd degree mason to be in the shriners I believe.

So there's that connection.

People have such a hard time struggling say, well, they're such good people.

You know what I mean?

Yes, they are.

They are and people and do good works and they have the hospitals in the things for

children and all that.

So it's not a question of that.

It's just a question of the deception that's at work and unfortunately the deception opens

the door for this demonic torment.

And that's what we're talking about here were that the fact that this involvement in these

kinds of things certainly in freemasons opens the door for demonic torment.

And I think it's worth emphasizing something again that we see.

Um, one of the curses if you liked it, seems to go down through the blood lines and be

heavily involved in people in free masonry and they're either involved in it or in their

heritage is a sickness.

There's a lot of sickness, a lot of physical sicknesses and diseases and in, you know,

and, and part of it, I know the curses that can come upon you, even people vow that if

I leave the freemasonry of right, that read, this will come on my family, they speak, they

speak, that these things will come upon a person's family.

And so, um, that's, that's significant also.

Yeah.

Well I'm, I agree.

You know, and that's what we see a lot of that in deliverance as well, you know, like

I've mentioned earlier with the confusion and the double mindedness and those sorts

of things with the hooding, uh, it becomes, it becomes something that, you know, you almost

have to look at it.

These are entry levels for these spirits to operate because you know, you're giving your

allegiance to a counterfeit light.

And so there's a lot of darkness that comes in when you pledged to a counterfeit light,

you know, because that's what a lot of the posts are referring to is the light and the

promise of the Masonic Lodge.

And so would that.

Then, you know, things get muddy in lists.

Like don mentioned, listened to one of our listened to one of our teachings on generational

things because the enemy doesn't really care how he gets an inroad.

Now you can look at the foundation of a, the original pure foundation of free masonry and

what people are building this up on.

Um, it's got a lot of open doors.

And so those spirits, how they enter in through the, through the sins of your father will

come down through the blood line and try to gain gain entrance by getting you to open

up something similar so that they'll be able to come upon you.

So it may not have to be like you're a free mason.

But if you open up a door pride or you open up a door of secrecy or you start to walk

in those ways of your father, then those spirits are now going to come in and they're going

to torment you.

So again, you may say, well, my dad was but I'm not, so I don't need to worry about it.

Those kinds of spirits have come into your family.

Bloodline are going to have to be booted out in the enemy, will repackage it to look different

for you, but if they gained an entrance with your forefathers, and let's face it, the United

States was built by Freemasons, wasn't it?

No, it is.

It's a long history of that.

A lot of things out there you can read about that and even elements.

People look at elements of the money in dollar bills in one go, so it's definitely intertwined

with our, with our heritage students coming over from the English in the background thing

there, so it's definitely intertwined in society and it's actively involved in society today,

which is why we want to talk about this so we can say if you're you, if this speaks to

you is you're actively involved in it now or as you say, got it in your bloodline, then

you should be aware of the factors.

Very likely been some open door for demonic torment.

So what do you do?

Well, good news.

We got good news for you.

It doesn't have to be really complicated.

I think that's the good thing about God, don't you?

Well, I do.

It's for every plan and scheme of the enemy.

There's a victory that's there for you and I think it just starts with hopefully that

recognizing if you've got it in your bloodline, you know, because like I said, many people

say, well, I don't know.

I'm not, I don't do that.

Well, that was me.

I thought it right.

Exactly.

But it is in your bloodline.

That's the potential for open door.

And so it's something obviously we, we ministered to and we have people in here for counseling

or through the private sessions and even our group seminars.

We, we make sure that that gets addressed.

The whole thing of free masonry and there's some good resources out there on the Internet,

um, Christian based organizations to help this.

We've come across one sometime back.

It's, I believe the name is still jubilee ministries international or Julio, they see

one here, jubilees ministries trust in New Zealand.

They're focused.

I think there's maybe even in Australia also, I know there's the United States if you like,

branches of this, but I encourage you to look at that jubilee ministries.

They have a prayer of release for free masons and their descendants that you can walk through

that you can declare, I shouldn't say d Walkthrough, you can declare it.

I'd say that should be as a first step for people and it's very thorough.

It's very detailed in terms of renouncing and denouncing and dealing with things in

your mind, what they've spoken to level of the level of detail is amazing.

It's about two or three pages that's on our website.

Stay tuned.

The end, we'll tell you how to get ahold of that.

It's on our, um, academy website in our resource library.

Totally free resource that you can have that we make available, like say for what many

times we will give this to our clients to pray when we're doing ministry for them in

the, in the office because it's just so, so specific for free masonry.

So that's.

So that's one thing to doing.

And secondly, quite honestly, if you do these things and you're not getting relief or victory,

then I think you need to be open to that, to the prospect of deliverance ministry.

You say, look, I need, you know, I knew these prayer and break these things, but if that

in and of itself isn't enough, then then consider getting deliverance ministry.

I think that's many times what it is, is, isn't just these devils you know, around you

and attached to you and you know, they, they, they may literally be in dwelling you and

your soul and that's what the realm of deliverance ministry.

So I think that's something that people should consider.

Oh Man.

Well, I agree.

Well, you know, again, the good part about this is we're right here.

The resources are right here.

We'll get to, to that resource.

You know, if you, if you're hearing this and you're not in our jurisdiction, we still have

lots of opportunity to pray for people on skype so you're never alone.

You know, you're in our tribe, you're hearing the sound, so don't hold back,

right?

And look locally to see what's around.

See what's around where you live too.

You know this just to see, get help where you can, but just recognize and know that,

that because of this family history and free masonry, maybe, maybe this spiritual root

of a lot of what you're dealing with and needs to get dealt with spiritually.

So definitely want to encourage you to do that, right?

We hope that you've enjoyed this podcast.

We'd love to hear from you.

Um, you can go to our website and be counseling.com.

You will see a deliverance ministry.

Dot Fm is one of the tabs there under that, under deliverance and, um, or on itunes.

That's where the, the, our podcasts are posted.

If you were a deliverance ministry.fm is, that is the itunes station.

We'd appreciate it if you had subscribed there to us.

And if you do and you leave a review on Itunes, we have a free gift for you.

We'll give you a downloadable copy of our deliverance ministry.

Plain and simple manual.

It's a great value.

It gives an overview of our ministry and once again, there's instructions for on our website

on how to do that.

If I'd get and get that manual, want to tell you very quickly about our resource that we

have called our resource library totally free.

You just need to go to our counseling and counseling.com or really that'll take you

over to the academy above and beyond Counseling Academy website as well.

You can get it in either place and sign up and get access to all our free articles or

podcasts or videos, powerpoint presentations.

Just sign up and then you'll get notified whenever we release a new article or a new

something new.

And so I'm in conclusion.

I think that's, uh, that's what we wanted to cover today.

I hope you'll check those out.

Keep in mind also on our academy website, we also have as resources for the bootcamp,

you will learn how to do deliverance, ministry training, ministry to children as well.

Lots of things there.

So please keep in touch with us, email us, let us know, suggestions for future topics.

We really want these to be relevant to you, the topics that we picked that are the most

interest to you, and that's truly how we got how we got this one because we had some interest

in this and so we put this one together and we'll do others, so thank you for listening.

Chrono24 Visits - NOMOS Glashütte - Duration: 6:54.

NOMOS was founded in 1990 by Roland Schwertner. NOMOS remains an owner-run,

independent company to this day. The NOMOS brand is distinguished by its

two "worlds" or locations. On the one side, you have Glashütte, which represents tradition, quality,

engineering, watchmaking, and craftsmanship.

On the other side, you have Berlin. It's a bit cooler,

home to creative minds, and the origin of NOMOS' designs and outward communication.

I think these two worlds or locations combine well with each other

and set the NOMOS brand apart from the other brands in the watch industry.

Here at Berlinerblau, we are essentially NOMOS Glashütte's creative department.

We are currently a team of about 40 employees and take care of everything regarding brand communication,

public relations, print media, online media, and social media. Every text,

our entire web presence, and the product and watch designs are all born in Berlin.

Just like the environment in Glashütte,

with all its know-how and the quiet necessary for building a watch,

Berlin is the ideal backdrop for creative work.

That is what makes Berlin and Glashütte such perfect polar opposites.

When it comes to the development of new movements, colleagues

from Berlinerblau and NOMOS come together

to determine what the new movement should be capable of, for example. What complications are necessary?

How large should the watch be in the end?

You can then take these specifications and figure out what the dial might look like

and what shape the hands could be. This helps determine

all of the requirements for the movement before beginning the construction phase.

The foundation of our independence comes from the Swing System. There's no doubt about it.

It was a truly enormous and difficult task for NOMOS.

If for no other reason than the massive costs alone. NOMOS invested almost 12 million euros in the project,

which took almost seven years to complete.

We brought in external research institutes

with the simple aim of understanding the Swing System ourselves

so that we could build and manufacture the system ourselves.

We wanted to have all the know-how in-house.

The next projects to immediately follow were the caliber 3001

—our new, super-flat basic caliber—and, of course, the caliber 6101, which premiered just this year.

The Tangente Update features our new automatic date movement in the Neomatik series.

If you compare it to the classic, 35-mm Tangente with a manual movement,

you'll notice that very little has changed

when it comes to the price.

You now have an automatic rotor plus a date function.

The actual display is a date ring around the dial's edge.

Up until now, this was impossible in the other watches.

It has also allowed us to add an especially large date window to other date watches.

This is a wonderful example of the interplay between Glashütte and Berlin,

between design, research, and development.

You could say that design is essentially just another expression of craftsmanship to us,

and this watch is an excellent example of that.

We have already received over 140 prizes for design and watchmaking.

Each time is as exciting as the last, and we're always overjoyed by each new addition.

Most recently, we received the Red Dot Award for the design of the Autobahn,

a collaboration with Studio Aisslinger that we then presented at Baselworld.

For NOMOS' foreseeable future, we will continue to invest in the quality found here in Glashütte

and in our products. That's what has made the last few years so successful.

We like to say that a NOMOS is a watch to be worn for life

or perhaps even to be passed down from generation to generation.

These are the things, the qualities we will continue to pursue.

The other side is that we want to become ever more international. In recent years,

we have built up our presence in America, which has since become our second strongest market.

Now, we want to take that to other countries, across Europe and Asia.

That is our main task for the next few years and beyond.

NOMOS watches also perform well on the used market.

Someone who bought a watch 10 or 15 years ago

could now possibly get more money back than they had originally invested in that watch.

NOMOS watches have a high level of value retention.

This makes our partnership with Chrono24 almost predestined – I think we make a great team.

South Korea's second silver medal of the day went to Kang Gee-eun who participated in the

Trap women's final.

This is the first time that a female South Korean athlete wins a medal in the single

Trap contest since the category was first added to the Asian games in 1990.

Coming up later on Monday, the major games of the day for South Korea are the Taekwondo

Men's 58kg gold medal contest, starting off at 8:20 pm Korean time, and the Fencing Men's

Sabre individual finals, starting off at 10:10pm Korean time.

2014 Asian Games gold medalist Kim Tae-hun will take part in the Taekwondo Men's 58kg

contest and will be looking to win gold again.

Another past gold medalist, fencer Gu Bon-gil , is also aiming to win gold in the Fencing

Men's Sabre individual contest.

Part 3: Six families at this reunion were split up when relative was taken prisoner of war.. - Duration: 1:24.

All the participants' had amazing stories to share.

But some stood out a little more, especially those who ended up on the opposite sides of

the border due to circumstances while donning uniforms.

Do Tell us about those.

That's right, Daniel.

Some of these relatives were separated because a member of their family was taken prisoner

by the North during the war or was abducted by the regime.

That's true in six cases.

As South Korea prepared for these reunions,... asking the North which people would be able

to attend, it enquired about 50 people in particular who were either POWs from the South

or had been otherwise abducted.

The North confirmed the whereabouts of 21 of them -- 13 of them dead, eight alive.

Two of those still living are unable to move because of their advanced age.

So, the six who were able to move have joined these reunions.

POWs and abductees have joined the reunions before.

Between 2000 and 2015, South Korea inquired about 350 such people -- 54 of whom eventually

got to meet their families.

As brisk it may seem, Hopefully the gathering will provide some closure for these people.

Thank you for the report, Ji-won.

Tearful scenes as families from South and North Korea reunite - Duration: 3:30.

Once again we begin our newscast with an event that reminds us of the painful reality of

a nation torn in two.

A life-long wait comes to an end for a select few divided families, thanks to a reconciliatory

mood on the Peninsula.

Some 90 South Koreans were selected from a pool of tens of thousands who applied.

They finally met their relatives today.

Let's start things off by turning to our Oh Jung-hee.

Jung-hee, as Koreans, the participants and those witnessing the moment, we are all overcome

by a gut-wrenching feeling... even as we speak.

You're absolutely right, Daniel.

This afternoon, we witnessed a very emotionally charged event...

as the South and North Korean families met each other for the first time at the group

reunion.

And I just have to say... we can't imagine how heartbreaking it would be to meet a family

member for the first time after 7 decades of complete separation and no contact.

The participants met each other in many different personal circumstances -- a South Korean mother

meeting two North Korean daughters that she unintendedly left behind when seeking refuge

during the war;... a South Korean uncle reminiscing about his brother who died some time ago...

by looking at the photos brought by his North Korean niece;... sisters from opposite sides

of the border recognizing each other at first sight.

Some participants peppered each other with questions to make sure they are who they think

they are... and after realizing that they were, they'd burst into tears.

Families put their faces together and held each others' hands tight like they never wanted

to part again,... and they chatted continuously as they shared memories of their common family

members who have passed away.

They'd also take out some photos of the past and see how much they resemble each other.

Some cried that they can't believe this is really happening... and told the joint press

pool reporters there... that they want the two Koreas to be reunified so badly,... and

there'd be nothing greater than to live together even for just one minute.

Agonizing scenes -- some participants, though they got to meet the family members they missed

so much -- they couldn't communicate properly because they can't hear well or don't remember

much... because they've grown so old.

Jung-hee, it's indeed heartbreaking to hear to the stories you're telling us...

Let's talk about the reunion schedules...

How did the South Korean participants go there... and what more can we expect during the next

two days to come?

Well, more than 360 South Koreans went to North Korea's Mount Kumgang this morning,

including the reunion participants, support staff and members of the press.

They went by bus,... crossing the inter-Korean land border via the eastern inter-Korean transit

office,... and arrived at the Mount Kumgang Resort at around 1PM.

The public reunion I was just talking about was first on the schedule: it ended three

hours ago, at 5PM Korea time.

Ongoing now is a welcoming dinner hosted by North Korea.

Tomorrow, the families will be able to have some private time and eat lunch on their own

in their rooms at the resort and meet once again at another group reunion in the afternoon.

The reunions will come to an end on Wednesday.

All in all, though we say it's a three-day-long reunion, the families actually get just 11

hours to spend together.

And we all know... that won't be enough to make up for the past 70 years they've been

apart.

Daniel.

GZERO World S2E6: A Brave New (Virtual) World with Jared Cohen - Duration: 25:45.

Look, I have two daughters. I have a four-year-old and a two-year-old and I'm probably going

to have conversations with them about, you know, information and disinformation,

data permanence, privacy and security, before I ever have the awkward conversation that a

father never wants to have with a daughter about, you know…just don't talk to boys.

We all know President Trump is a little different from past presidents. We've seen the tweets.

We've heard the bluster. We've scrutinized the tanning bed circles around his eyes.

But is the Trump presidency truly unprecedented? Today I'll argue that it is in fact a whole

new ball game in three key ways – and none have to do with the mystery of covfefe.

Hi, I'm Ian Bremmer here in New York City and welcome to your GZERO World. On the show this week,

I sit down with Jared Cohen, founder of Google's tech incubator Jigsaw and a

veteran foreign policy adviser despite being somewhat younger than me. And of course, I've

got your Puppet Regime. But first, a word from the folks who help us keep the lights on.

I want to talk with you for a moment about the Trump presidency. Not the headlines, but

the big picture. The forest, if you will, and not the tweets. To what extent do we believe

that President Trump is actually, fundamentally different from all of the other presidents that've

come before? And I think he actually is in three specific ways. I want to go through

them for a moment now. First, authoritarianism. There's no question that President Trump

has an authoritarian impulse. A lack of interest in the values and precepts that underpin liberal

democracy, he likes the strongman much more than he likes the leaders of liberal democracies

around the world. He probably wants to be one himself. That's different. Number two,

corruption. Trump actually continues to own a multibillion dollar corporation, the Trump Organization,

with his name right on top of it. And he uses the office of the White House

to promote that organization to enrich himself. Not just that, but members of his family – Ivanka,

Jared Kushner (his son-in-law) – have ownership shares and at the same time are serving in

senior advisory roles in the White House. That's different than anything we've seen before.

And number three, incompetence. President Trump has never had any policy role or any

role that's engaged with policy historically, and his willingness to listen to experts who

have that capability is extremely limited. More so than that of other presidents we've seen.

I think that in all three of these ways, President Trump is truly different from any

president that has preceded him. But before we get ourselves unwound by all of this, let

me say that of the three, I think only one of them really matters, and that's the incompetence.

Why? Well, first, on authoritarianism, we like to talk about a deep state sometimes

in the nether regions of the Internet. That doesn't really exist, in my view. But there

is a deep bureaucracy. People that are more than willing to do their jobs and slow down

our president if they think he's acting in a way that would undermine American authority.

So too, we have an independent judiciary that functions pretty well. We have free press.

Trump may call them enemies of the people but they still function, and he's not going

to change that. The fact is that there are people around President Trump who used to

support an authoritarian inclination as well. Most of them are gone. Think about Mike Flynn,

the former National Security Adviser. Think about Steve Bannon, the chief strategist.

Think about Seb Gorka, former senior adviser. In fact, I would argue the only person that

remains in the administration around Trump who would still say, I want to get rid of

checks and balances and make the strongest possible executive presidency, is Stephen Miller.

That's it. In the whole cabinet, quite something to say, in terms of the inability

of Trump to move his administration towards embracing authoritarianism. How about corruption?

I absolutely grant that when we look at the conflicts of interest around Trump and his family,

they are unprecedented in the United States. And yet, when we look around the world,

we know what real corruption looks like. Look at Brazil and the Lava Jato scandal that's

brought down presidents and hundreds of ministers and legislators across the country, has taken

tens of billions of dollars out of the Brazilian economy, and has taken points of GDP off of

South American and Central American countries. That's corruption. India, defense procurement,

that's corruption. Russia, oil, gas, metals, that's corruption. Ivanka getting a license

to sell shoes and clothing in China so that the Chinese can have a better relationship

with Trump? Number one, it doesn't seem to work. But number two, that's tawdry,

it's corrupt, it's not really done, it's embarrassing to us, but it's not strategic.

And if you ask me over the long term, four years or eight years of Trump, after he's gone,

is the Trump Organization going to be a sorry spectacle or something that really

changes the way we think about the United States? I'd argue it's really just the former.

No, it's the incompetence that's the only piece that concerns me, and it's

not because I think Trump is stupid. I really don't. Not given the way he's built his

organization, his media savvy, his branding. No. I think he's quite smart. But I think

he is a man that is completely unwilling to engage with facts. I think that – you know,

Obama didn't have any real experience in foreign policy for example, but he wanted

to be the smartest one in the room. He read everything he could. And he brought experts

in that he listened to. Didn't always make the right decision but that's the way he engaged.

President Trump doesn't do that. He believes his gut is always right, that

he's in full command of the facts even when he's not. He won't listen to experts unless

they already agree with him. I think that's a big problem with someone who runs the country.

It's compounded by the fact that Trump is unwilling and incapable to actually control

his emotional impulses. The single greatest damage that Trump has probably done to himself

and his administration was his decision to fire former FBI director James Comey. I am

almost certain that felt awesome emotionally when Trump gave it to him and said, that's it,

I'm firing this guy. But a day later, it's pretty obvious that not only did it

undermine the legitimacy of the FBI – something he shouldn't want to do – but more importantly,

that it really caused problems for Trump himself. His entire administration. And going forward,

if you ask me where the Mueller investigation is likely to go, how much damage it'll do

to Trump and to the country, as well as the possibility for geopolitical incidents to suddenly become crises,

it is the incompetence of the President that I feel is the greatest danger.

That's the thing I'd be spending the most attention on.

This week I sit down with Jared Cohen, founder of Google's tech incubator Jigsaw and a

veteran foreign policy adviser. I'll talk with him about technology and global politics,

including the role of trolls and cybersecurity leading up to this fall's US midterms. Let's get to it.

Jared Cohen. The CEO of Jigsaw. Let me start with asking you about cyber and particularly elections.

You don't believe that there is a significant cyber threat to midterms

coming up in November in the United States. Why?

I believe there's a threat to the midterms. I just believe that in the aftermath of the

2016 election meddling, I believe that foreign adversaries are toning it down. It's probably

the smart, strategic decision for them, right? If you don't do as robust a meddling in the

midterm elections as you did in the 2016 elections, two things happen. One, people are less prepared

next time around. Two, it's not as much part of the zeitgeist. Three, people become complacent

and feel like they've largely got it under control. Then, when it ramps up again come

the 2020 election, you know, people are either flat-footed or they're not prepared for it.

Is that a theory or do you have some analytic data that suggests that suggests that that is really the

case thus far as we're moving into the election cycle?

Well there's certainly evidence of disinformation deployments in the context of midterms.

I just – my theory – and it is informed by, you know, both qualitative and quantitative

analysis – is that it's not at the scale that we saw in 2016. It's not at the scale

that we saw in Russia's own presidential election. And it's not at the scale that we've seen

in some of the European elections.

So if we were to look at all the elections that have really been hit – as well as the

British referendum on Brexit – where would you say external actors, in terms of both

hacking and disinformation campaigns…rank them. Where have they had the most impact,

where they've been most damaging?

It depends how you define damage, right? So what's interesting about disinformation campaigns

is it's very difficult to measure how effective they are in terms of changing people's behavior.

It may be that some of the greatest impact of disinformation campaigns is the sort of

hysteria and the response that it creates. And we have to be very careful not to conflate

attempts at disinformation with success of disinformation. And I think as a society we

are sort of dangerously rounding up and handing adversaries a victory that maybe they didn't

achieve. They certainly have meddled, they certainly have attempted, but we have to stop

just shy of being able to say in any definitive way that this is what they accomplished.

They have fomented a tremendous amount of chaos in the process. They have exacerbated tensions

in the process. They have disseminated secrets, you know, by hacking people's accounts and

then creating fake accounts to disseminate those secrets throughout the world. So there's

real evidence of where they're playing. It's just very, very difficult to measure.

So get beyond the diagnosing where, at least for now, the challenges seem to be pretty big.

What do you think the responses should look like? If you were advising the U.S. government,

the European governments right now, knowing that after this midterm, you know, sort of

not doing so much, we're going to face a lot of big challenges with other countries, other

actors messing with our political legitimacy. We clearly didn't handle it well in 2016.

The Brits clearly didn't handle it well with the Brexit referendum. What should we do concretely?

So Ukraine is having its presidential elections in March of 2019. Europe is having its parliamentary

elections in May of 2019. And obviously the U.S. is having its presidential elections

in 2020. So if you subscribe to my theory that it's been toned down – it's still active

in our midterm elections but it's toned down – regardless of the reason, we need to recognize

that if we're going to get hit in 2020, it's going to be with 2019 and 2020 tools, not

2016 tools. So I believe that in fact the best way to protect the European parliamentary

election and the U.S. presidential election is to double down on protecting the Ukrainian

presidential election. One, we all want to help Ukraine protect the integrity of their

process. It's the right thing to do and it's the stated policy of most Western democracies.

But two, there's nothing that the Russians, for example, would hit the Americans or the

Europeans with that they wouldn't hit the Ukraine with first.

They wouldn't test –

It is the – sort of the penultimate example or the sort of the most active example of

a target practice, so…there's a bunch of tools that are already deployed to protect elections.

Those can be deployed to help protect the Ukrainian elections, test the resilience.

There's a huge intelligence benefit of just seeing what the latest and greatest tactics

are that are being deployed in the context of Ukraine. How state actors work with disinformation

entrepreneurs to do this, how they're sort of active in purchasing capabilities on the

dark web. You can begin to ask questions. Will we start to see distortion of video in Ukraine?

I don't know. Maybe yes, maybe no. Or will it still be largely around distortion

of imagery? But what's interesting is you also have a very active, as I mentioned before,

set of entrepreneurs and civil society in Ukraine. In New York, you know, everyone works

on fin tech. In Ukraine, they all work on counter disinformation and that's what they're

building their companies around. My guess is some of them are pretty good. And so there's

an opportunity also to build not just a robust civil society but a robust kind of tech ecosystem

around fighting disinformation in the world's most active theater.

So then the final question would be okay, you've done your best to defend. These attacks

are coming. After such attacks, how do you think the international community or

individual governments should respond?

It's going to constantly be a game of cat and mouse with various adversaries. So I think it's –

we need to find ways to continue to seek out the places that are the most active theaters.

Is this like a "NATO thing"? Is this a –

Well, actually – so here's a couple of concrete examples, right? So since you mentioned

NATO, what I find very interesting about NATO is it's a security architecture built around

geography, which makes sense when the world was purely physical. And we're now having

these sort of growing conversations about NATO expansion and NATO has, you know, become

a heightened topic again for all the reasons we understand it. This should be a real conversation

about whether we should expand NATO to some of the countries that have the greatest cyber

capability but aren't, you know, geographically located in a place that has historically made

sense for NATO. Because honestly. the greatest threat to NATO countries is probably cyber,

not physical at this point. I think the physical deterrents are pretty strong. I'm not saying

there's no threat but the cyberattacks are going to happen on a daily basis and they're

going to keep pushing and pushing and pushing. I also think that there needs to be serious

thinking around what a cyberattack would have to look like in terms of economic damage,

potential loss of life, loss of livelihood to trigger an Article 5 response.

The component of the NATO treaty that compels collective self-defense.

And this gets to what I think is the greatest vulnerability, geopolitically right now in

terms of things that we haven't quite gotten our head around, which is there are no rules

of engagement that govern how states respond to each other when attacked. There are no

doctrines of proportionate response. There's no taxonomy around types of attacks or types

of targets. We can't even get as simple as what are the lists of targets that if attacked

could lead to loss of human life? That might actually even be a conversation you could have with –

you know, between frenemies.

The other thing that you've spent a lot of your career on is dealing with, assessing,

understanding terrorism. And we're not talking as much about terrorism these days, right?

I mean, we've destroyed ISIS. What do you think we're missing?

We need to start thinking now about what a successor to ISIS looks like in terms of its

cyber capabilities. So my view is what this sort of successor terrorist organization will do –

they'll be able to do everything that ISIS did, which is using sort of information

and disinformation to recruit and to propagate. You know, finding ways to coordinate logistics

and so forth. But one of the hallmarks of how ISIS built up its capabilities was robbing banks.

Physically robbing banks, right? So, you know –

In Mosul, for example.

Yeah, in Mosul. I think they got a billion dollars, right? So I suspect that a future

terrorist organization will build up their economic resilience through partnerships with

various online criminal groups. It's much easier to, you know, criminally generate money

on the digital front than it is, you know, by simply robbing banks. There just aren't

enough banks. We'll also see the much more active use of cryptocurrency. We'll see coordinated

cyber and physical attacks – so a cyberattack that makes it easier to carry out a physical attack.

Example of that?

You can imagine a cyberattack on, you know, an electrical grid that causes a temporary

blackout and then a bunch of people come in with suitcases and so forth. You know, it's

sort of like Hurricane Sandy but not by a natural disaster.

Yep.

I also think that the type of what we typically think of as propaganda – again, the same

things that we see being used in our election are likely to be used by a future terrorist

organization as well. The deployment of actual digital people as a much more active way of recruiting.

Now it's interesting because all of those things are concerning and growing threats

but they're all indirect. And the one thing you didn't mention is, you know, the likelihood

that terrorists are going to directly use cyber capabilities to break things. In other

words the terrorist attack itself would be the cyberattack that poisons the water or

destroys the nuclear facility or whatnot. Is that because you just don't think they

are close to having that level of sophistication?

So I do worry about it, don't get me wrong. And I do believe that at some point, we're

going to see some kind of an attack that has significant damage. It's so hard to know where

it will come from, what target it will hit, that I find the sort of fearmongering around

it not necessarily to be the most productive way to engage in that debate, whereas I think

that drawing people's attention to the fact that when we see a – if we see a state-sponsored

cyberattack or a criminal cyberattack that does something that causes a blackout or some

kind of chaos, that we should next be looking for a physical attack.

When you deal with physical terrorism in the United States, obviously there's been that

kind of significant big reaction. And yet you seriously harden your air facilities.

You don't with buses or with trains. Some could argue that doesn't make a lot of sense,

costs a lot of money economically. Is there an equivalent either mistake or lack of appropriate

focus in the cyber domain thinking about this?

For some reason in government, we keep wanting to create cyber this and cyber that. The problem

with that is we need to get to a point where we actually just stop talking about cyber, right?

When we talk about, you know, war, we don't have conversations about tanks, planes

and boats. We sort of do it in a nuanced way but this is just – you know, a feeder is

multidimensional, a fear of conflict is multidimensional. It's physical and it's digital. The capabilities

are both physical and digital. We don't talk about our adversaries this way anymore, right?

There's no such thing as a cyber terrorist; they're just terrorists and they have physical

and cyber capabilities. Same thing with criminals. So government has to find a way to figure

out how to integrate cyber into everything that it does as opposed to having these sort of,

you know, orphaned apparatuses that are sort of tasked with doing cyber.

How do you think the world changes most as humans become more virtual?

Well, I think let's start with humans, right? So the citizen of the future is increasingly

splitting their time between physical and digital domains. They're proliferating versions

of themselves. So Ian Bremmer, you know, has multiple email accounts, multiple social networking profiles,

multiple phone numbers.

And a puppet.

And a puppet. You basically have a virtual entourage of yourself walking around and that

virtual entourage has multiple personalities. So you are many – you're basically able

to punch way above your weight as a physical citizen by sort of proliferating yourself.

So the global demographics change a lot in that sense. In a country like Iran that's

80 million people online, looks more like a billion people. So that creates a sort of

an interesting tension for governments that run the risk of miscalculating by overreacting

or underreacting to things that they see online. The second thing is the first attack on any

society is going to be an attack on the conversation. And so what we see playing out on the conversation –

whether it's just people being mean or it takes a political, ethnic or sectarian tone –

is going to be the first indicator of what happens, of what might spill into

the street. Now on the one hand it's good that there's something that happens before

it goes into the street. We're not just going from zero to machetes in the street. The bad

news is the barriers of entry to virtually venting or being obnoxious –

It's zero.

Are much lower. So it could also accelerate it. The good news is anything that's written

down can be measured and this is one area where machine learning can be quite helpful.

You know, for instance, you can – right here at Jigsaw, we've trained machine learning

models to measure toxicity in language on a score of 0 to 100, so we can look at any –

we can feed any comments or language to these models and tell you how likely that

comment is to be perceived as toxic and return that score to whoever is moderating the platform.

So there are some interesting technical things that can be done to try to restore stability

to the Internet. But I think the biggest thing that's going to change is also just the mass

proliferation of data. You know, we spent the last decade talking about what happens

when societies come online. Now technology is completely ubiquitous. And what that means

is a society can't function without having both physical and digital stability. I think

governments understand what physical instability looks like and how to deal with it. It's not

fair nor is it going to work to rely entirely on governments to deal with the digital stability problem.

So Black Mirror or Ready Player One? Which are we – if you had to choose, which are

we more heading towards?

Oh, Black Mirror really freaks me out, so just by default I'm going to go to Ready Player One.

Very good. Jared Cohen. Good talking to you.

Thanks, Ian.

And now I've got your Puppet Regime. It could be anything.

Ian Bremmer here with the President of the United States, Mr. Donald J. Trump.

Mr. Trump, you are probably the most outspoken president in American history.

But is there anything that you feel you don't get the chance to talk about as much as you'd like?

Well as you know, Ian, I care deeply about children.

Beautiful, beautiful children.

And about education.

You may recall my IQ battle with Rex Tillerson, which of course I won.

And so I wrote a song, actually, to help kids learn the most important parts of the alphabet.

I, I brought this guitar. Do you mind – may I? Do you mind?

Wow! Well, of course. Ladies and gentlemen, a first on GZERO World: a musical interlude

from the President of the United States.

A is for the great, great anger that everyone's talking about.

B's a beautiful border wall to keep the brown kids out.

C is for the Chinese, breaking all the rules.

DeVos is going to defund all of your little schools.

E is for the experts, who predicted that I'd lose.

F I put right next to you, but let's just call it fake news.

G is great.

H is health care, which I swear we're going to get rid of.

But in the end, what's the only letter that I never get sick of?

It's I, the greatest show ever seen.

I, a letter invented by me.

I, the point of ABC.

What other letters do you really need?

Estoy hablando español, no my friend nice try.

I'm just saying

But – but Donald. This song is just about you.

No no no.

U comes later.

Don't you be such a hater.

This is the

ABC

of

me.

That's our show this week. We'll be right back here next week with Kevin Rudd,

President of the Asia Society's Policy Institute and former Prime Minister of Australia – a country

you have heard about. Don't miss it. In the meantime, if you like what you've seen,

What are the symptoms of staph infection? Signs of staph infection - Duration: 2:50.

infection symptoms and signs

staph infections are caused by Staphylococcus bacteria types of germs

commonly found on the skin or in the nose of even healthy individuals most of

the time these bacteria cause no problems or result in relatively minor

skin infections

most staph infections that are visible usually have a reddish swollen bitchy

and/or tender area at the site of infection infection

often the site oozes pus or has some crusty covering with drainage

sites of infection can be small like a pimple on someone's face or even in the

nose a boil on an extremity or a large like a carbuncle uncle

cellulitis it most commonly appears on the legs often shows redness and

swelling of the involved area without puss but impetigo shows a crusty weeping

rash with an occasional blister a blister

scalded skin syndrome shows extensive skin redness with Bully fluid or

pus-filled blisters

infected catheters and other implanted devices usually show redness + and

tenderness at the skin entry site deep abscesses pneumonia osteomyelitis and

most other internal infections are only seen by x-ray and other imaging

techniques or are not visible at all for example toxic shock food poisoning

although nausea vomiting diarrhea and abdominal pain chills and fever may be

present

the appearances described above are only suggestive of staph infection

Closer look at family reunion venue -- the Mount Kumgang resort - Duration: 1:53.

Let's shift our focus to the place that will be overwhelmed with a flood of emotions as

the reunions continue this week.

Mount Kumgang has been at the heart of this gathering ever since it opened.

Kan Hyeong-woo gets us better acquainted with the North Korean resort.

Located on North Korea's southeast coast, the Mount Kumgang resort is the main venue

for this year's family reunions between the two Koreas.

As the place where the first inter-Korean summit took place in 2000, the resort has

long been one of the most symbolic connections between the South and North.

In particular, the resort has been the scene of family reunions on the Korean peninsula

over the years.

In an effort to promote the scenic beauty of Mount Kumgang and expand inter-Korean exchanges,

the resort was built by South Korean firm Hyundai Asan in 1998 and drew over one million

tourists from the South for the next ten years.

But after South Korean tourist Park Wang-ja was shot dead by a North Korean soldier in

July 2008, all tours from the South ceased and the resort went from a bustling tourist

hotspot to a ghost town.

However,... ten years later, and things have changed.

The agreement from April's inter-Korean summit to hold the family reunions and its follow-up

measures have revitalized the resort and the region in general.

Recognized as having preserved its biodiversity, Mount Kumgang was even added to the list of

UNESCO's World Network of Biosphere Reserves in late July.

After the schedule for the 21st family reunion was set, there have been a number of renovations

at the site… and senior South Korean officials have visited the area to examine preparations

for the event.

Now that the stage is set for the war-separated families to reunite,… their time together

at the Mount Kumgang resort will be etched into the minds of the Korean people for years

to come.

North Korea agrees to allow ICAO to conduct on-site safety inspections regarding missile launches - Duration: 1:35.

Some welcome developments coming from the communist state.

North Korea is going to allow experts from outside the regime to inspect if it has truly

made steps in efforts to keep its promise.

Next year, an international aviation organization will visit to check and confirm if Pyongyang

fired off any missiles without prior warning.

For details let's turn to our Kim Hyo-sun.

North Korea has agreed to allow the Montreal-based International Civil Aviation Organization

to conduct on-site safety inspections for international flights from the regime's missile

launches.

Citing an official at the organization,...

Japan's Kyodo News Agency reported Sunday that Pyongyang gave such an assurance in May

when high-ranking officials from the UN agency visited the country.

Accordingly,... the ICAO plans to send personnel to the North sometime next year to verify

whether the regime has taken appropriate measures to keep its pledge of refraining from launching

ballistic missiles without prior notice.

The 192-member organization has repeatedly condemned the North for unannounced missile

launches as it poses a severe threat to planes flying in the region.

Kyodo says such a move can be seen as an effort by the regime to improve ties with the international

community,... while gaining trust over its pledge to halt such launches.

The upcoming inspection,... the second of its kind in a decade,... is expected to include

interviews with the North's aviation authorities,... with the aim of ensuring that the regime complies

with international aviation regulations.

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will visit Pyongyang for fourth time soon: Bolton - Duration: 1:48.

Turning our focus to Pyongyang and Washington's nuclear negotiations.

It seemed like talks have stalled between the two sides.

Now we're learning America's top diplomat may pay another visit to the reclusive regime

soon.

Lee Seung-jae gets us up to speed with the developments.

In an interview with ABC News' "This Week", on Sunday,...

John Bolton said the Trump administration expects U.S Secretary of State Mike Pompeo

will travel to Pyongyang "soon",... making his fourth visit to the communist state.

With the top U.S. diplomat unable to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong-un during his

third visit last month,... Bolton says the administration expects Pompeo will hold direct

talks with Kim this time around.

The purpose of the visit, according to Bolton,... will be to urge progress on negotiations to

denuclearize North Korea,... adding the U.S. expects it to happen within a year.

Bolton also referred to the historic Singapore summit between President Trump and Kim in

June,... saying the process of denuclearization remains their highest priority.

During a cabinet meeting led by President Trump last Thursday,... Pompeo said he hopes

there can be a "big step" in nuclear negotiations with North Korea "before too long."

Pompeo emphasized that during the many months of negotiations, the regime conducted no nuclear

or missile tests.

Adding that Washington is engaging in dialogue with Pyongyang for a brighter future for North

Koreans,... Pompeo has continually been expressing his hope for a breakthrough.

With Pompeo's visit expected in the near future,... both South Korea and the U.S. hope the trip

will breathe fresh life into the denuclearization process,.. which seems to have stalled in

recent weeks.
