the arts I work in engineering so this is when
you talk about the field of work the area of work you say I work in the
preposition is in and then the field of work so tell me what do you work in make
a sentence as we go say it out loud you can also say I work for what follows
this one I work for a company that's right a particular
company or a person I work for Apple I work for coca-cola or I work for Westpac

your work experience we should use the present perfect tense it's very common
to talk about your experience present perfect simple or present perfect
continuous for example I have or here it is I have I've been working as a teacher
for 16 years or more I've been working as a teacher for 16 years or I've been
working in education for a long time I've been working in finance since 2010
you can also talk the company I've been with I have I've
I've been with this company for five years am I still with the company now if
I say this yes so when you use the present perfect continuous in this
context or the present perfect simple it's not finished this action the
situation is still happening now you're expressing something that started in the
past and continues to now so I've been with this company for five years I
started five years ago and I'm still with this company now and I intend to
continue you know so I've been with this company or I've been working for this
company for five years how long have you been working here you can ask a question
these are really common ways to talk about your work experience and to ask
