This site is super cool for those of you interested in cinematography and color in movies.

What it does is it calculates the average color per frame of a film and stack them from top

to bottom.

This way you are able to see how color changes throughout a movie.

You can search by director, title, genre, and year.

Andrew Stanton directed the movie Finding Nemo and Wall-E. But let's focus on Finding Nemo.

If we put it in here we can notice that there's a lot more blue and green in Finding Nemo which makes a lot of sense.

But let's go to the Harry Potter series.

We can see how the color changed from the first movie to the last.

Is it fascinating or is it

How To Poach An Egg Perfectly | Delish Insanely Easy - Duration: 3:34.

- Alright, so I'm just going to go on the record and say it,

eggs are my favorite food of all time.

I eat so many.

And one of my favorite ways to eat them is poached.

Look how cute!

It can seem really tricky

but I'm going to show you a few simple tips

that will make perfect poached eggs every time.

You need a pot.

This is great if you're just doing one egg.

I'm going to put this pot of water on medium

and bring it up to a simmer.

The only ingredient to a poached egg

is eggs.

The fresher the egg, the better

and there's a really simple way

to know how fresh your eggs are

if you're getting them from the grocery store.

It's something called the Julian date

which is right at the bottom near the expiration date.

So this says 232 which means it was packed

on the 232nd day of the year

which happens to be August 20th.

If you really, really want to make sure

they're nice and tight, no frillies,

then you gotta strain them.

This is my little strainer.

I'm going to pot my egg in there.

So as an egg ages, the white starts breaking down.

That liquidy white is what floats around

when you plop your egg in

and cracking it into the strainer

will help remove some of that liquidy white.

Beautiful.

And I don't know if you can tell

that some of that white is just draining through

so now I'm just going to transfer the egg

that's been strained into a bowl

because it just makes it really easy to pour it

into the water.

The reason why we want the water to be simmering

instead of boiling is because eggs are really delicate

and when we put it in the water

we don't want it being pushed around

by all those big bubbles.

We want it like a jacuzzi.

We're going to create a vortex,

I'm just going to use a spoon.

It encourages the egg gently to stay in the center

and all of its parts to be in one.

Some people like to use vinegar

when they're poaching their eggs.

I've tested both ways

and I can't really tell that much of a difference

between when I use vinegar and when I don't.

Make a Vortex by stirring in the same direction.

There it is.

Poached eggs normally take somewhere between

two and four minutes.

I found that three is the sweet spot

but just keep an eye on them.

You can always pull them out with your slotted spoon

and feel and see if the yolk is set up

but see ya in 3 minutes!

You can do more than one at a time

but you'll need a bigger pot than this

with a lot more surface area.

Yeah, if you can see, it's already starting to set up.

Did not take long.

Look, it looks a little bit too soft

so I'm going to give it like 10 more seconds.

I have here a plate with paper towel all ready.

It's kind of nice to give your eggs little dab

before you serve them.

So I'm going to pull this guy out.

It should feel nice and soft

so you you want it to bounce back.

So I'm going to transfer him to this paper towel.

And look how perfect!

Just a little time in the strainer

makes such a huge difference.

I made some avo-toast.

I'm going to put my egg on top.

Some flaky sea salt.

Some cracked red pepper.

Alright, so there you go.

That's how you do it.

Republicans Think Trump Is DELUSIONAL About Their Midterm Chances - Duration: 4:36.

Donald Trump continues to tell us that there's not going to be a blue wave in this year's

midterms, there's going to be a red wave.

A red wave.

Republicans are going to win bigger than ever because Trump's economy is just kicking ass

all over the place.

So yeah, Republicans are in for a great ride in this year's midterms, so sayeth President

Trump.

However, Republicans have admitted that they're going to lose.

In fact, the party itself is projecting that they're going to lose roughly 45 seats in

the US House of Representatives alone and now there's even concern that they could actually

lose the Senate.

People like Ted Cruz in very tight races that they could easily lose.

That's gonna cost them.

Other embattled Republican Senators across the country, not looking so great in their

reelection bids either.

So the Republican party itself fully admits that we're going to lose and we might lose

even more than we think we're going to lose, but Trump doesn't think that.

Now, GOP officials are worried about the fact that the President has become, "Delusional

about the party's chances in this year's mid-term elections."

They're saying that he's delusional about what's going to happen in the mid-terms and

there's several theories as to why this is.

Recently, on CNN, they talked about this and they mentioned the fact that it could be because

Donald Trump has: one, either repeated the lies so many times to himself that he even

started to believe it, or two, and this is actually far more likely, the people that

he surrounds himself with are not willing to tell him the truth about how bad the situation

is for Republicans.

Obviously, tuning in to Fox News all day, which we know the President does, is not going

to give him accurate information about the Republican's Party chances in 2016, or 2018,

excuse me.

They're not out there saying that a blue wave is coming, that Republicans are in trouble.

No.

They're telling us, everything is fine, Republicans are great, don't worry about the mid-terms

this year.

Trump's saying the same thing on Twitter.

But behind closed doors at those official GOP headquarters, they are terrified because

not only are they going to lose seats but then, when they do, they've gotta deal with

the wrath of a President who easily becomes unhinged at the slightest provocation, who's

absolutely going to lose his mind when those returns start coming in, in November.

Unfortunately for the Republican Party, there is nothing they can do about it.

They could try to tell him the truth.

They could tell his aides, "Hey, can you please make him stop doing this?"

But none of that is going to work.

The President has bought into his own lie and nothing, probably not even the actual

returns that come back on election day this year, are going to convince him that he's

been wrong about it.

How To use the IDE add-on for Home Assistant - Duration: 5:18.

on today's video I'm going to show you

how to set up and use the IDE add-on for

home assistant this add-on is a packaged

version of the cloud9 IDE which is an

online integrated development

environment that has been tuned for use

with home assistant you'll be able to

manage your home assistant configuration

files directly from my web browser and

it also includes a terminal so you can

check your configuration and restart

from a system all right guys let's get

started with the setup open your home

assistant and go to haseo I don't store

select IDE and click on install once

installed

scroll down to config and set up a new

username and a password if you setup a

duck DNS URL for your home assistant

change the SSL from false to true so

like that the connection to the IDE is

encrypted now click on save and before

you start the add-on you need to create

a port forwarding rule on your router so

when you try to access the IDE it

directs traffic to the add-on port which

is 8321

now all routers are different so I

wouldn't be able to tell you how to set

it up on your own router but for you to

have an idea I'm going to show you how

it's done on an Asus router there's a

website called port for work on that has

step-by-step instructions on how to set

up a port forwarding rule in different

types of routers you can find a link in

the description below so definitely

check it out alright so when you access

the port forwarding settings on your

router name the new rule hassio cloud9

IDE then setup the port range to

8321

the local IP set it to your raspberry

PI's IP address for the local port set

it to 8321 as well and

set the protocol to TCP click on add

then apply and reboot the router to

apply the changes after the router is

back on mine go back to home assistant

and start the add-on give it like a

minute for the IDE to start and then

click on open web UI

okay so the IDE is up and running on the

left side we can see that we have the

home assistant file tree in the middle

we have the editor area and on the

bottom we have the terminal now

everything is separated into tabs which

you can move around and set it to the

way you want it for example if you open

two files and you want to have them open

side by side or one on top of the other

you can just grab one of the tabs and

drag it to the right side or to the

bottom and it would split the editor

into columns or rows the terminal window

can also be resized so when you are

editing you can get the terminal out of

the way and get more screen real estate

and resize it again when you need it by

the way having access to the terminal

directly from the IDE is very convenient

because you can simply run a command to

check your configuration after you edit

something and also reached our home

assistant without having to leave the

editor the file tree and the top menu

bar can also be minimized to gain more

screen real estate this option is very

convenient when working from a laptop

for example to minimize the file tree

just click on workspace and for the top

menu bar click on the triangle on the

left the IDE also has themes available

so if you would like to change it to a

dark theme for example you can go into

view themes UI themes and select the

theme that you would like to use you can

also change the theme for just the

editor window and not the whole UI to do

that go back to view themes and the

themes for the editor will be right

below that UI themes drop down the

terminal can also be customized but you

will have to go into preferences and

then click on terminal

now I want to show you how to embed the

IDE into home assistant using the panel

iframe component so like that you have

an option on the sidebar and be able to

open it directly from the home assisted

front-end in the configuration.yaml

file enter the following then click on

file and then save after that use the

terminal to restore home assistant using

the command hassio ha restart after home

assistant restart you will now have the

IDE option on the sidebar and when you

click on it it will open the IDE

directly from the home assistant

front-end alright guys so there you have
