another nickel box another box of hope

let's look inside

hey everyone it's Rob with Rob finds

treasure and I've got a nickel boxed on

today I've been slowing down on the

nickel hunts because I've got my early

Jefferson nickel set complete now and

I'm still looking for a 39 d and a 50 D

on my own I've got them donated from

some very generous subscribers and I

appreciate that but I'm on a mission to

find them

I don't want to give up on it even

though my set is complete we're still

looking for upgrades as well of course

you can never have too many silver and

I'm still looking to fill my buffalo

nickel album as well although I have

about 30 dateless buffalo nickels that

I've never

nic-a-dated because the condition is

okay but you just can't see the date so

I might I'm gonna make a video and just

nikka date a bunch of those nickels and

see if I can fill my album up the box

looks like it's short but it's not it's

a little bit boat on both sides so I'm

sure a few rolls have slid down I'll

have to fix that because I hate hunting

a box that's not uniform but let's get

inside alright guys world roll number

three if we're gonna have our first 40s

nickel out of the box already

and this one's a 48 Philadelphia and I

also pulled out this really cool like

army green tone 1966

you know it's reminiscent of a black

beauty that they made in 1959 in 1960 by

mistake but I don't think it is I don't

think 66 has that in that year but it's

still a really cool find

for me put it up there and we'll get

back to the hunt roll number 6 got me

fooled for a second I saw the front

thought it might be a war nickel and I

saw the 42 but it's not looking as much

anymore

and it's not 42 Philadelphia so that's 2

in the 40s and 250 threes roll

number 10 gonna have another 40s nickel

here this one's a 48 philadelphia again

roll number 19 gonna have another 40s

nickel here 1947 denver so that's now

for in the 40s and for in the 50s

roll 22 guys and we've got a first for

me I just found a 1969's proof now 1969

nickels they made regular San Francisco

mint coins for a regular strike and they

also made proof coins and you can

clearly see by the Cameo finish here

this is definitely an S proof not an S

San Francisco mint regular strike that's

so cool that is a good fine my friend I

will take that all day it's a beauty

let's get back to the hunt roll number

27 I'm gonna have our fifth 40s nickel

this one's a 46 philadelphia so we'll

slide these over I'm gonna put him in

his spot just grabbed roll number 34

guys and I was checking the ends and I

saw an old one so I pushed this aside

and look at this we got a 1939 ender so

the crack in that opening we'll see what

we got alright guys 39 ender can it be

the 39 d unbelievable let me pick that

up again and look at it 39 d that is a

key date I have gone over a hundred and

something boxes I got a look at it again

and it was an ender a 39 d ender

unbelievable I know I keep saying that

and I know I say that a lot but guys

this is a almost as special as the first

time I got it v nickel I can't believe I

found my own 39 D and it's and it's

actually it's worn pretty good but it

might actually be better than the one

that I was gifted we gotta take a look

I think the 1oz gifted is better but we

got one

I am super happy to grab a 39d out of

circulation let's get back to the hunt

all right we'll get back to the hunt in

a second I just wanted to be a little

excited here look at the 39 d 3.5

million minted as you can see right here

$10 and very fine I don't know if it's

very fine but it might be fine

puppy at least g4 but either way it's a

5 to $10 nickel we'll take it all right

now I'll get back to the hunt same rolls

the 3019 you probably saw it in the roll

but the dark one actually is a 1948

Philadelphia we'll take it matter of

fact I got you here we've had a couple

of oldies let's just double check

together in case there's something else

in here looks like there could be an old

one coming up maybe no it's a little

better than I thought 83 I know I'm

looking at the new ones cuz in case

there's another 2009 in here don't want

to miss it

alright nothing else in that role but 15

rolls left

oh my goodness guys we're on a roll 38 I

laid him out I'm not gonna lie this will

look damaged so I took a little peek

just like this and I see a head of

something I think I see a Liberty head

oh my goodness I do I have now got my

second vehicle ever 1897 it's a little

trashed but we just pulled a hundred and

twenty-one year old coin out of

circulation it's pretty toasty but at

least we've got some detail we got a

legible date you can read the back it

says five cents you can see where it

says cents down there in the V so you

know what freakin V nickel and a 1939 D

within a few rolls of each other

and a proof no silver no Buffalo but if

we get a buffalo and a silver other than

a shield nickel we'd have one of every

single thing we wanted well that's not

kind of chickens before they hatch

although they're hatching pretty nicely

very next we're all rolled over 39 and

we've got another 42 here 42

Philadelphia don't see a lot of 42 s in

circulation and I just grabbed a couple

as well all 43 we're gonna have a

Canadian nickel here 1994 you know I

only have one 2009 in that whole box

that's low for me maybe we'll find a few

more but who cares

44 gonna have another 40s nickel here

and this one's a 49 hey is that a 49 s

nope just some damage it look like so 49

Philadelphia well that was it guys

another box of nickels hunted we did

find a no.9 and a Canadian 94 a couple

of other coins I pulled out you saw the

66 army toned green colored coin as well

as another one of these sanded down

fronts we have a 69 proof can't get mad

at that an 1897 V nickel a 1939 Denver

my first ever only my second vehicle

found a couple of 42 s

non silver hard to find 46 47 348 and a

49 in the 50s when Lee had three years

but a lot of each 250 threes 350 fours

and 358 on top of that I've got a

handful of really nice coins that I'll

check against my album that's 64 and 68

are just Bowman

they're really nice yeah 64 is not as

nice of close but hard to find them in

this type of condition in circulation so

we'll take it for sure

outside of that one of my better box is

no silver no Buffalo's but I got a V

nickel and a 30 90 and a 69 proof really

cool box odd that we only had one oh

nine though you

yeah I get about four or five in a box

minim still I'm not gonna argue

I'll take boxes like that all day
