Edge — Quickstart - Duration: 6:53.
In this video we will walk you through five simple steps of getting started
with your Edge and setting up video streaming. Before we start you need to
install the customized version of QGroundControl. We call it «QGroundControl for Edge».
All links from this video are in the description.
In this demo we use Windows 10 but the workflow is the same for all systems.
Let's begin. Edge comes with two Wi-Fi modules. We'll unpack them later.
Here's what's in the Edge box: double-sided foam stickers for Edge and GNSS module.
You can use it to fix the controller on a drone frame. Below you'll find user's guide,
Edge, GNSS module, power module and the wire pack,
which contains these cables.
Now let's unpack the Wi-Fi modules. We will only need the adapter itself and
two antennas. Attach them to the module.
Do the same with the second Wi-Fi.
Now we're going to update the Edge firmware to the latest version.
It's very important to do that once you receive your Edge because we are constantly
improving the software and adding new features.
Connect Edge to the laptop. Use micro-USB port for firmware updates.
Open QGroundControl.
Choose «Setup» menu and go to «Firmware» tab.
Wait until the app automatically detects Edge.
Next click on the «Connect» button to start initialization of your device.
It takes a few seconds.
After that you'll see this dialog window.
Press «OK» at the top right corner to start updating.
When it's complete you can unplug the device.
Now we're going to connect all basic components to Edge.
Let's start with the GNSS module. It has two ports internally connected to
the same CAN bus. Plug the cable into any of it. Plug another end into any of
The CAN ports on Edge.
Now connect one of the Wi-Fi modules to the USB port on Edge using the supplied cable.
For video streaming you will need a camera with HDMI output and a micro-HDMI cable.
In this example we use an action camera.
Plug in the second Wi-Fi module into your computer. You can use the same
micro-USB cable you used before to connect Edge to the computer.
Now let's configure the laptop with ground control station. First of all we
need to install the driver for the Wi-Fi module. To do that you need a connection
to the internet. If you use Windows or MacOS the drivers most likely will
install automatically. You can check the instructions on how to install drivers
on Linux, Windows and MacOS manually in Emlid Docs.
Now in order to make the connection work smoother it's highly recommended to turn
off location services on Windows. Go to settings, search for «Location privacy
settings» and under the location section click «Change».
New window with a switch will appear. Turn it off.
Now you can power on Edge from the battery.
Plug power module into any of the power ports.
And then connect a battery to it. Edge will switch on automatically.
Then turn on the camera.
After powering up Edge needs some time to create a Wi-Fi access point. When it's
ready the small LED will turn blue.
Get back to your PC or laptop and connect to the network called «Edge».
Make sure you connect using the external Wi-Fi module, not the internal one.
Now we will connect Edge to ground control station via UDP and configure
video streaming. Open QGroundControl for Edge.
Choose settings in the main menu and click on the «Comm Links» tab.
To create new link configuration click «Add» in the bottom right corner.
You will see a tab with network settings. Select UDP as a connection type, set the name,
make it automatically connect on start, leave the listening port as is.
Under the target host field click «Add» and enter this IP address.
And then click «OK» in the bottom-right corner.
Select the added link and click «Connect».
Now everything's ready for video streaming launch.
Go to the «Fly» menu and click on a black rectangle in the left corner.
In the bottom right an icon for video settings will appear.
Set video resolution, bitrate, and orientation. Note that the range of video streaming
depends on video quality. Click «Start streaming».
That's it! Please, remember: before unplugging or turning off the camera
always click «Stop streaming». Check out Edge docs for further hardware
installation and QGroundControl configuration.

Hi friends! Welcome back to my channel. It's IndianGirlChannel Trisha, and if you are new to my channel, I am Trisha.
My today's video is a requested video and it is very simple as well.
Many of my sweet viewers have asked me to share how i get my hair done which are featured in videos, especially the hair bun.
So in today's i will share my easy to make hair bun styles with you.
So without wasting time let's start the video. Also i am very sorry that i took sometime before making this video. So let's start it now.
First comb your hair thoroughly, if you have not done it. I have already combed my hair.
For making hair poof's, use your fingers from above your eyebrow arch section like in the video and take a hair section like this
After taking the hair section like this, twist the hair section a little bit like in the video
You have to pull this hair section in the front like in the video, so that your hair poof gets created
Then i am securing my hair like this with a small clutcher.
Secure the rest of the hair like this. You can secure it as high as you want depending on how high you want the hair bun to be.
After this, you have to simply twist these hairs.
After that you have to hide the pin on top of your hair like this and roll it around.
For this hairstyle its not necessary to have long hair like me. If your hair is medium or shoulder length, then also you can do it.
And the last bit of hairs after rolling, you have to secure them with a pin like this.
And like this you have to hide the extra hairs.
So here is my simple and easy, 2 min hair bun. It is complete now.
If you want, you adjust your hair poof like this, by pulling the hairs in front.
This gives your hair a very voluminous look.
If you want you can pull out some hairs from the front like this
It will give you a nice messy look.
You can use a clutcher like this to help you keep the bun high throughout the day.
And if you use the clutcher then the hair poof will also not come down.
