Telos is far from the only character in the Marvel Universe to wield the

Infinity Gauntlet in fact there have been 16 characters that have worn the

gauntlet in the comics and today I'm gonna run them down of course we all

know number one unless the Stannis he wielded the gauntlet several times

starting with the Infinity Gauntlet storyline in 1991 that US was able to

wield the gauntlets and trying to impress death he destroys half of all

life to bring balance to the universe however in that storyline nebula was

able to wield the gauntlet and undo everything that Dennis had done let us

suggest a field of your Celestials Galactus and the very embodiment of the

universe eternity tell us after defeating eternity pretty much became

the new embodiment of the universe and the center of reality which left his

body lifeless giving nebula a chance to quickly take the gauntlet from his hand

and as I said turn everything back the way it was leaving Thanos floating

through space however the Avengers and Adam warlock

weren't happy with nebula having the gauntlet and the slave dr. strange to

teleport that ass back to earth because they realized that as bad as he was

destroying off the universe nebulas tortured mind probably isn't strong

enough to wield the gauntlet and that she may destroy all of reality so it's

Adam warlocks idea to get dannis to help them however predictively tellus doesn't

really do much to help them but it's the third person to wear the gauntlets being

Adam warlock who is able to disrupt the Infinity Gauntlet by entering the soul

world within the soul stone and somehow call out to the other five Infinity

stones and as mentioned this causes the Infinity Gauntlet to misfire to misfire

enough that nebula is forced to throw it from her hand

that'ss tries to pick up the gauntlet but he cards before Adam warlock does

and Adam warlock ends the conflict and promises to use the infinite power of

the gauntlet wisely this leads us to number four on the list of people who've

worn the Infinity Gauntlet and that of course is Magus now Magus is the evil

future version of Adam warlock that was thought to have been destroyed when the

timeline was changed during events before the infinity ward's

however they find that he has them in existence and in the meantime the good

Adam warlock has established a team called the infinity watch who is charged

with protecting the Infinity stones the Infinity watch came into being in the

aftermath of the Infinity Gauntlet storyline Adam warlock was accused by

eternity not to be worthy of the booklet and its power the living tribunal ruled

in favor of eternity and the outcome is that Adam warlock cannot yield the

gauntlet and in fact that the Infinity stones are prevented from acting as one

by the Living Tribunal so Adam is charged with creating a team that will

protect the Infinity stones and the gauntlets this team is known as the

Infinity watch and it gives each member of the Infinity watch an infinity stone

and he himself retains the soul stone so basically Magus gets the full

Infinity Gauntlet but due to the living tribunals ruling that the stones can't

work as one it doesn't work as one it's all Galactus gets The Living Tribunal to

change his ruling the Infinity Gauntlet starts working again in megasis hand

only for eternity and infinity to combine into a single entity and defeat

him eternity then says okay this is no good the Infinity stones cannot work

together anymore number five on the list is the Silver Surfer Norrin Radd taken

from Marvel's or some what if title issue number 49 what if the Silver

Surfer possessed the Infinity Gauntlet well I'll tell you what he would do he

would restore everything the way it was and not only that he would make sure

that there was no disease no hunger no hatred no walk even destroys Mephisto so

that there is no evil in the universe Doctor Strange brings back nor in rands

love Charlevoix Noren realizes the only way they can truly be together is if she

is his equal and she tries to tell him that the power of the gauntlet is too

much to handle they fight and Noor in a second that he would actually fight his

love and he realizes that the gauntlet is actually too much power to handle and

he destroys himself his love and the gauntlets and the noble acts of

sacrifice okay all to the next one this takes place in the JLA yep the JLA

Justice League of America slash Avengers storyline giving us all number six and

that is Darkseid yes Darkseid wheels the Infinity

Gauntlet however this storyline teaches us something

important about the quarters and that is that it does not function in other

realities so it doesn't function in the DC universe so this also answers the

question in the movie but when fellow snaps his fingers did he only destroy

life in our reality and that is yes in other words the snap doesn't affect life

in other realities such as in the quantum realm then in the same story

once Darkseid throws the gauntlet away Quicksilver and flash rush to grab it

before anyone else and of course the first of the speedsters to get to the

Infinity Gauntlet what's the fastest of the speedsters and that is the flash in

this instance the best version of the flash yoni holds on to it for a second

though before it's teleported away number eight is Reed Richards mr.

fantastic is one of the members of the Illuminati other members of the

Illuminati include Namor Black Bolt Professor Xavier Doctor Strange and Iron

Man Reed Richards has given the stone by she-hulk and he was able to use the

power stone to locate another two stones at first because he says the stones no

matter how far apart they are they can speak to each other and if they may be

alive and that they are definitely sentient the remaining three Infinity

stones are drawn to the others and the gauntlet sir Reed Richards has got the

gauntlets and it's full of the six Infinity stones and he's clearly tempted

to use that infinite power the other members of the Illuminati tell him to

take it off but he resists leading to the watcher law two appearing and

intervening which is unusual of course for watches cuz they normally just watch

and he tells read that the gauntlet was not meant for man and he warned him that

if he tried to wield it he would destroy everything Larry did give up the

gauntlet but before he did he tried to will the gauntlet out of existence but

that didn't work and it seemingly the only limitation on its power

they then dismantle the gauntlets and divide up the Infinity stones to each

member of the Illuminati for safekeeping number nine is Black Panther he fights

the almost omnipotent Doctor Doom and defeats him putting him back in a

Latveria and he fixes his face what a happy ending that was in Secret Wars

issue eight number ten is Doctor Doom himself in FF number fourteen

so basically Reed Richards has created a whole council of reeds situation like

the council of ricks and to a lesser extent that Council of wells on the

flash so anyway the Celestials had destroyed the council but Reed had

created several infinity gauntlets across several universes stream

sacrifices himself fighting the silly and wakes up in the ruins of the council

of the reeds of the Richards and finds to infinity gauntlets now remember the

gauntlets can only work in the universe to which they belong and number 11 is

another one of those awesome what-if storylines and this time it's Norman

Osborn he tracks down all the stones and he

makes a new gauntlets he uses the court that at first to win a battle and then

he forces his father to be proud of him Dallas appears on the scene trying to

get the gauntlet as he does and he kills one of Norman's henchmen

this causes Norman to flip out and become the Green Goblin

so as the Green Goblin he still has good gauntlet on his hand and he turns tennis

to dust so that he ceases to exist so you're at danos then his father says

something that he doesn't like and he also turns him to dust which is a little

bit of a stupid thing to do his that's your father you idiot if your father

doesn't exist in you can't exist and so into the green goblin floating in space

number 12 is Peter Parker spider-man in the four-pot Avengers and Infinity

Gauntlet comic manages to catch the gauntlets off to help him as Marvel and

Wolverine managed to get it off they lost his hand he puts it on and simply

wishes that Thanos never got the Infinity stones and voila everything

back to normal so simple 13 is Iron Man in Avengers vol

4 issue 12 Parker Robbins aka the hood tried to take over the Marvel Universe

he's imprisoned by the Avengers and managed to escape and goes after the

Infinity stones as one does they were hidden by the Illuminati

however he manages to find three of them which he just holds in his hand

paka robbins is attacked by the avengers who are trying to get the stones back he

jumps into the astral plane he meets a person that he thinks is

Dennis Dennis tries to bargain with him however it's actually not that US it's

dr. strange who had been using an illusion spell he ejects the hood from

the astral plane and the Red Hawk punches him with the power stone in his

hand and he patches him so hard that he drops all but one of the Infinity stones

the reality star in desperation who starts to mess with reality because he

doesn't care about saving people only about what he can get and then suddenly

we see Tony Stark's Iron Man with the Infinity Gauntlet and all the Infinity

stones in them Reed Richards mr. fantastic explains that the Infinity

stones talk to each other and that they want to be as one in the coordinates

again pointing to the fact like I've said in previous videos the Infinity

stones are sentience Iron Man with the full Infinity Gauntlet

contemplates creating or world without war hates jealousy but

decides that that wouldn't be the world in which we live and that no one would

learn and progress he even considers bringing his father

back in Chaves but instead all he does is two things

firstly he puts parker robbins the hood back in prison and secondly he uses the

gauntlet to wish the Infinity stones and the golfers out of existence but then on

the next page we find out that Tony actually didn't wish it out of existence

and he just hid the gauntlets and the Illuminati each take one of the stones

and cap tells them at this time that should find better hiding places who

wields the Infinity Gauntlet within the Ultimate Universe the Hulk an evil Reed

Richards are freed by Kang now the way the stones

worked in the Ultimate Universe was interesting in that there were two

gauntlets and eight not sixteen so four on each gauntlet the extra two stones

are not actually named but one of them was taken out of Tony's head literally

taken out of his head by evil Reed Richards so I don't think we'll even

know what the other two stones were caught because you know if the Ultimates

universities no more coming in at number 15 then of course is Deadpool in

Deadpool issue 45 it shows that did pools around for the events of the

original Infinity Gauntlet comic and that Thanos had hired him to steal the

gauntlets Deadpool puts on the gauntlet of ultimate power and what does he do he

gets all the heroes to roast him and anyway so then there's Captain America

in the events before Secret Wars the Illuminati faced a serious situation as

they always do the main earth if 6-1-6 was on a

collision course with an alternate earth so the Illuminati decided that one of

the members should wield the Infinity Gauntlet in order to stop this terrible

event from happening and of course this person was Captain America Steve Rogers

that our van the power of the court that was so vast that it actually exploded

and finally I have saved something for lost I was gonna say the best but it's

really not and it's not a joke it's Santa Claus in the Marvel Holiday

Spectacular in 2009 Santa's reindeer was revealed to be a scroll the Illuminati

loaned Santa the gauntlet to make sure that despite the scroll imposter

reindeer that he would be able to deliver all those presents from his nice

list however as with most who wield the core

that it drove percenter insane so what do you think of all the characters

who've real did the Infinity Gauntlet in the comics are they some that surprised

you and how much money would you pay to see a DC Marvel Universe crossover and

who do you think could wield the Infinity Gauntlet in Avengers 4 my

money's on Captain America or Iron Man not Santa

Blogging Tools to Make Blogging Easier - Duration: 7:46.

- Hey guys, in this video we're gonna jump back into the

Blogger's Playbook and we're gonna rundown some of our

absolute favourite tools that make the bloggin'

and content creation process easier.

(pull whistle sound)

- Here's an interesting Andrew and Pete fact,

we've published our first blog on January the 8th, 2013.

- Does that class as interesting?

- It was created with title The 2013 Business Book Challenge

And it was horrendously terrible blog post.

- We thought people would be interested in the fact that we

were gonna read a lot of business books that year.

They weren't.

- Fast forward to now where we're approaching up to 600

pieces of content, including our blogs, words, and our

atomic content too.

And we've learned a thing or two, or 500 things,

about producing content better and quicker.

- So today we're gonna run through some of our favourite

tools that we use for our own content and our own blogging.

Some are free and some cost a bit of money,

but most of them speed up that content creation time.

And once implemented, actually using them

takes little to no time at all.

- And if this is your first time here, please do hit that

big read Subscribe button.

We create videos like this every week to

make marketing un-boring-ed.

- Oh yeah. - That's a word.

- Let's jump in!

- Starting with prewriting and research tools but before we

even put pen to paper or pixels to screen,

we wanna make sure that what we are actually creating

is being searched for.

Some businesses have the luxury of this not mattering

all that much but ours', we want to be found.

- So we use a mix of Google Keywords Planner

and Answer the Public dot com.

Which are both free tools that will give you keyword ideas

for you to write blogs all about.

We showed you how to Answer the Public not so long ago,

so click here to go check that out.

- We also couple those with a free Google Chrome plug-in

that we use call Keywords Everywhere.

Which roughly shows you how many searches that

topic is getting per month.

Now do not take this as gospel truth,

but do use that as a guide to make sure the keywords

that you're finding on the Google Keywords Planner or

on Answer the Public, actually have some popularity.

- Another cool tool that we use at this stage is the

Braintoss app, which is just a couple of quid

on the app store but you can also get it on Android as well.

What this does is allow us to capture ideas on the go.

So if at any moment during the day, if we have an idea

we'll Braintoss it.

- It basically emails yourself a note

that you can action later.

You can do a written note, images, and even voice notes

and integrate with Evernote and Trello too.

- The final tool that we use at this

Prewriting Stage is JotForm.

We use this for guest blogs, so rather than going back

and forth with email a tonne of times,

take out all the information we need, we'll send people to

a chat form link and they can just enter all

the information that we require for that guest blog.

And we're using the free version of that too.

- Next up we have our actual writing tools

and going back to that horrendous first blog,

it was horrendous because it was boring.

- Just because it is written word,

doesn't mean it should look boring either.

Back in the day, we created this video all about how to make

your blogs look sexy, so go check it out.

(laughs)

- The first is Google Docs and all of our ideas start here.

Even this video, we've freakin' love Google Docs.

It's basically Microsoft Word but online.

And we can both be editing the same document

at the same time and give access to whoever needs

access to that document too.

It's all stored online and it's saves as you go

and it's free and it's ad-free.

Google, we love you.

- Another cool tool we use is Rev.com.

Yes that's the tool that does video subtitles

for $1 a minute, but it also allows you to download

a transcript of your video.

So if struggle with writing or if you have

some video content already, you could just speak your blog

and get it transcribed by Rev.com.

It just takes a lot of titterating and tweaking

and you'll have your blog in no time, easy peasy.

- Lemon squeezy (laughs).

When you squeezing some lemons (laughs)

Squeezing some lemons.

- You're going to want to be including some images

in your blog too, so we could be using Photoshop or

Illustrator for this, both of which we have

but nine times out of 10, we are jumping into Canva

and creating something really easily.

And if we wanna add gifs into the blog,

we are jumping into Giphy.com

and we're either searching for a suitable gif

or using Giphy to create our own.

And again, we have another video on Giphy over there.

Pass Pete's head.

- Watch where your pointing that thing, Jesus Christ.

Also, if you wanna include Tweetables in your blog,

we love the tool that's free, clicktotweet.com.

We'll link to a blog below, it shows you exactly how to

set it all up and how it works.

But it's really easy and in a nutshell,

what it allows you to do is pre-populate a Tweet

and at the click of a button, people can Tweet that

pre-populated Tweet and share it with all of that audience.

Nice.

- Finally in this stage to make sure we have

all the SEO boxes ticked,

we are using the Yoast plug-in with Wordpress.

This is a really cool tool that tells us what we need to

work on from an SEO point of view to make sure the blog

is optimised and has a really nice red, amber, green

scoring system that even Pete can follow.

- Hey (mumbles).

- After we've pressed the pretty published button,

we got some tools to use to promote the damn thing.

- Starting with ConvertKit for email marketing

and ManyChat for Facebook Messenger.

Send your content to people who have opted in to receive it.

This is a really important step, and if you miss this step

then you deserve for your next cup of coffee to be cold.

- Yeah, we're that mean.

- And if you like cold coffee,

it's also going to taste of wee.

- We're also using social scheduling tools to promote

our content going forward.

Our favourite tool of the moment is SmarterPulseCal,

which is a mash up of Smarter Queue, agora pulse,

and ContentCal.

Our advise to you here is do not do this.

We just love them way too much to give any of them up.

Just choose one and make sure you use that to prepare

with your content going forward

and promote it more than once.

- And a cheeky bonus tool for you as well,

we use Disqus which is a free comments tool

that plugs right into Wordpress.

This allows people to log in, to leave a comment,

get notifications, they show some blogs

below the comments plug in, plug in (laughs)

- Plug in (laughs)

- Plug in (laughs)

This allows people to log in and leave a comment,

it also shows them other blogs below the comments plug-in

and it does some other fancy stuff too.

- So if you have been paying attention,

you will now know that our toolbox includes

Google Keywords Planner, Answer the Public,

Keywords Everywhere, Braintoss, JotForm, Google Docs,

Rev, Canva, Giphy, clicktotweet, Yoast, ManyChat,

ConvertKit, Smarter Queue, agora pulse,

ContentCal, and Disqus.

Didn't edit that together at all.

- Whew. - No.

- Wow (mumbles).

- We're gonna link to all of those around this video

somewhere then we're also gonna link to some tutorials

that we have on some of these tools too.

So please do check them out, because they all rock.

- And if love this video and you want some more

marketing un-boring-ed, please do subscribe

and we'll love you forever and a day.

- We always want to add more tools to our toolbox too,

so if there's a tool that we haven't mentioned in this video

we wanna know your favourite ones that we can check out.

So, please let us know in the comments.

- He's been Andrew.

- He's been Pete.

- See you next time.

Cleaning through Pain - Homeowners Who Hurt - Duration: 10:17.

How do you work through pain when you're not feeling like cleaning your house?

We're going to talk about that today.

Hi there. I'm Angela Brown, and this is Ask a House Cleaner.

This is a show where you get to ask a house cleaning question,

and I get to help you find an answer.

Today's show is brought to us by MyCleaningConnection.com

This is a resource hub for all different kinds of things that are about cleaning products,

cleaning supplies, how to make your own cleaning supplies, what kind of uniforms to wear,

how to clean your own house.

There's a bunch of information, whether you're a solo house cleaner or you're a homeowner

or whether you have a cleaning business and you have 50 people working for you.

Check it out, MyCleaningConnection.com

Today's show comes from a homeowner who is in a lot of pain, and I want to read the email

to you that she sent.

She says, "I hate to clean when I'm in pain.

Years ago, I fell and, many times, my back aches.

Sometimes, I don't get started cleaning.

I clean and I do yard work about every other day.

How do I break down the chores so I don't do too much and then I don't do anything?"

All right.

Well, that's a really great question, and there are three elements to that question.

The first one is pain.

The second one is procrastination.

The third one are having systems in place.

Let's take a look at those individually, and we'll figure out a way that we can make this

work for this particular home owner.

All right. The first thing is pain.

When you are in pain, nothing else matters.

All you can think about is how you hurt and you feel bad and you feel icky, and you just

don't want to go do the regular things that you need to do.

The very first thing that is important for you to realize, as a homeowner ... This is

also important for house cleaners, but as a homeowner, everything in your life revolves

around how you feel.

If you feel crappy all of the time, the quality of your life suffers, and so in every area

of your life, if you want to have more enjoyment and you want to have a better quality of life

in everything that you're doing, how you feel is paramount.

In America, we have the Standard American Diet, and if you break Standard American Diet

down, it's S-A-D, which is SAD, so if you wake up every day and you feel SAD,

Standard American Diet, you need to look at what you're eating.

The Standard American Diet is full of fats and sugars and carbohydrates and things that

are really not good for us, and so if you want to start cutting out processed foods

and cutting out fried foods and cutting out sugars out of your diet, what you're going

to find is that your body starts to heal itself, and as it starts to heal itself, a lot of

the aches and pains that we get in our joints and our shoulders and our back and our body,

a lot of that's going to go away.

If you've been in an accident, in this particular case, you said you fell and hurt your back,

if that's the case and it's caused or triggered from something that was jarring, what you

may want to do is go to a chiropractor because they can realign and readjust your spine,

and they can help repair your bone frame so that you can then repair yourself with all

the muscles and stuff.

There are people that have debilitating diseases that's not going to be cured by a chiropractor.

It might need some medication from a doctor, but the point I'm trying to make is you want

to get to a point where you feel good again, and how you get there is a series of you've

got to tweak things every single day.

Well, I ate that and it gave me gas or it made me feel bloated or I got indigestion

or heartburn. Don't eat that again.

If you eat something and it gives you an MSG headache, don't eat that again.

Every day, you can do little experiments until you find the perfect balance of what works for you.

I promise you this.

As any person, any person, on any job, you will be much more productive if you feel great.

If you wake up every day and you go to work and you feel great, you're going to be much

more productive and you're going to get a bunch more stuff done.

Just talking about living at home and doing your own house chores, you're going to be

much more productive if you feel great, so the first thing I want you to think about

is the pain.

We want the pain to go away.

Life is beautiful, and we don't want to focus on living a life of pain.

That's just miserable.

That doesn't serve anyone.

All right.

The next thing we want to talk about is procrastination.

Procrastination is fun.

It is just fun to wake up and say, "I'm not doing anything," and then not doing anything.

For a day, here or there, we call those vacations.

That's so much fun and it's fun to look forward to.

The other 360 days a year or 350 days a year, how many days you're not on vacation, we need

to end the procrastination because everything in our life revolves on a system.

There are 30 days in a month.

There are seven days in a week.

There are 24 hours in a day.

Everything runs on a calendar.

Everything runs on a system, and so does your life.

If you have a series of things that you've committed to, like a house, a house takes

a lot of work, but it also requires a system in order to maintain it.

For example, let's say that you have a house.

Well, along with that house, you need to do yard work and you need to do house cleaning

and you need to do laundry, and if you have a family, you need to do grocery shopping,

and you have to pay bills.

There's a series of things you must do, and procrastination does not serve you in any

of those things.

What you want to do is ... We'll go the third part, which is creating a system.

You want to create a system that allows you to do all of those things routinely.

If you create a system and you create it on a calendar, and I love calendars for this

reason, we know without argument, we know that every seven days, Monday will come, and

we know without argument, every single day, the sun will come up at different times, but

it will still come up every day, and there will be a nighttime every single day.

With that in mind, you can schedule the things that you have to do in the period of time

that you have.

All of us only have 24 hours a day.

That's it.

We all only have 24 hours in a day.

You have to figure out how you're going to get all your tasks done in 24 hours.

The beauty of it is there are people, like house cleaners, that will come clean your

house for you so that you can take that off your plate, give it to someone else.

If you can outsource some stuff, that gives you more time to get the other things done

in your life, but if you are the one responsible for cleaning your house, that needs to be

part of your system so that you wake up every day and you say, "Hey, this is the system

I do today because it's Monday."

In my house, I do laundry on Monday.

My husband asked me the other day, "Oh, you're doing laundry today?"

I said, "Yeah, I do it every Monday."

He said, "Really?

That's so awesome.

When did you start that?"

I said, "Sixteen years ago."

Every Monday, for sixteen years, I've been doing laundry.

I don't think about it.

It's not something I wake up and I'm like, "Oh, I got to do laundry today.

Holy cow.

Where did all these clothes come from?"

No, I wake up and I say, "Hey, it's Monday.

Monday, we do laundry."

This system removes the procrastination.

It dictates what you do.

Every Monday, whether you got dirty clothes or not, we're going to be doing the wash,

and so now he knows I can just throw stuff in all during the week or I can put it in on Sunday.

Monday, it gets washed.

We put our trash out Sunday night.

They come pick it up Monday morning.

It's just part of the system.

We don't think about it.

We don't decide every week if we're going to take the trash out to the curb.

It's just part of the system.

The system decides for us.

My goal for you is to live pain-free, number one.

Number two, to end the procrastination by number three, creating systems that make those

decisions for you.

When you get in a habit of doing something over and over and over and over, it becomes

easy to do.

It becomes second nature.

It becomes part of your routine.

Do you remember when you started driving, and you get in the car and you're white-knuckling

it, and you're scared and you're nervous and you don't know if you should push on the brake

or the gas and you're trying to figure it out, and it's very stressful?

Now, you get in your car and you just turn the key and the next thing you know, poof,

you're there, and you don't even remember how you got there. But you instinctively did

all these things, for watching for signals and 360 peripheral, the cars around you.

You watched for stop signs, you watched for stoplights, you watched for dogs crossing the road, maybe

pedestrians, you watched for somebody darting out in front of you on a bicycle.

You navigated all of those things seamlessly because of your experience.

When you have systems in place, that experience kicks in, and you just end up doing laundry

every Monday because that's what you do.

You don't even think about it.

It's just like, "Oh, hey, oh, yes, I guess I did four loads of laundry," because that's

part of the system.

My suggestion to you is stop thinking about it, stop getting worked up over it and letting

the pain that you're going through dictate your systems.

Yeah, you will in the beginning, as you're trying to heal your body and you're trying

to detox and get all this stuff out of your system, you're going to feel bad while you're

creating your work about systems, but once you feel great and the systems are in place

and the experience kicks in, you're going to be flying free, and you're going to say,

"Wow, life is really great again," and it's easy and it's fun and it's all systematized.

My suggestion to you is get started today.

Get started today, little pieces at a time, and you may want to create one system for every day.

One day, you do bathrooms.

One day, maybe every day, you do the kitchen a little bit, but maybe, one day, you do deep

cleaning of the kitchen.

Every day, you make the beds.

Every day, you wipe down the bathroom or, every day, you wipe down a different room

five main cause of kidney stones

kidney stones are hard deposits made of minerals and salts that form inside your kidneys

kidney stones have many causes and can affect any part of urinary tract from your kidneys to your bladder

often stones form when the urine becomes concentrated allowing minerals to crystallize and stick together as

kidney stones can be hard to discover from a lack of symptoms it is important to recognize the cause of kidney stones

so you can minimize and prevent the appearance of kidney stones if you believe you are at risk for kidney stones

talk to your doctor about being tested here

Are the common cause of kidney stones

one

below your in volume a

major, risk factor for kidney stones is constant low urine volume

below your in volume may come from dehydration from hard exercise working or living in a hot place or not drinking enough fluids

When you're in volume is low urine is concentrated and dark in color

concentrated urine means there is less fluid to keep salts dissolved

increasing fluid intake will dilute the salts in your urine

by doing this you may reduce your risk of stones forming

adults, who form stones should drink enough fluid to make at least 2.5 liters of urine every day on average this will take about

three liters or 100 ounces of fluid intake per day

while water is likely the best fluid to drink what matters most is getting enough fluid

oonh

heredity or family history

the chance of having kidney stones is much higher if you have a family history of stones such as a parent or sibling and

if you've already had one or more kidney stones you're at increased risk of developing another

Some people are more susceptible to forming kidney stones and heredity may play a role

the majority of kidney stones are made of calcium and

hypercalcemia high levels of calcium in the urine is one risk factor

The predisposition to high levels of calcium in the urine may be passed on from generation to generation

three

geographical location

Before we continue this video do not forget to subscribe my channel to see if they're useful health videos?

there may be a geographic

Predisposition to forming kidney stones so where a person lives may make it more likely for them to form kidney stones

there are regional stone belts with people living in the southern united states having an increased risk of stone formation

The hot climate in this region combined with inadequate fluid intake may cause people to be relatively

dehydrated with their urine becoming more concentrated and allowing chemicals to come in closer contact to form the notice or beginning of a stone

for

diet

diet can also affect the chance of forming a stone

one of the more common causes of calcium kidney stones is high levels of calcium in the urine a

diet high in animal protein such as beef fish chicken and pork can raise the acid levels in the body and in the urine

high, acid levels make it easier for calcium oxalate and uric acid stones to form

the breakdown of meat into uric acid also raises the chance that both calcium and uric acid stones will form

because obsolete is a component of the most common type of kidney stone

calcium oxalate eating foods rich in odds lake can raise your risk of forming these stones

five

medications

some medications and calcium and vitamin c supplements may increase your risk of forming stones

people taking diuretics or water pills and those who consume excess calcium

containing antacids can increase the amount of calcium in their urine and potentially increase their risk of forming stones

taking excess amounts of vitamins a and d are also associated with higher levels of calcium in the urine

patients with hiv who take the medication in denavir crixivan may foreman denavir stones

other commonly prescribed medications associated with stone formation include fanny tine de landon and

antibiotics like ceftriaxone

rocephin and super clogged sisson cipro

be sure to tell your healthcare provider all the medications and supplements you take as these could affect your risk of stone formation

Do not, stop taking, any of these unless your healthcare provider tells you to do so

6

lack of exercise

although nobody claims that a lack of

exercise can directly lead to kidney stones there does appear to be a clear connection between people with said eteri

lifestyles and the incidence of kidney stones

In some cases people have little choice in the matter for example consider the case of one who has to spend an extended period

confined to bed due to an accident or illness

However if it is possible to follow a regular exercise routine

Please do so in addition to avoiding kidney stones there are many other health benefits

you

Jeff Glor's 'CBS Evening News' Ratings Are Way Down in First 6 Months as Anchor - Duration: 1:26.

Jeff Glor's 'CBS Evening News' Ratings Are Way Down in First 6 Months as Anchor

Nightly broadcast has been down 24 of 26 weeks in total viewers year-to-year since Glor took

the anchor's chair

Six months into his time as anchor of "CBS Evening News," Jeff Glor is seeing the longtime

third-place show trend backwards in Nielsen TV ratings.

Over the 26 full weeks that Glor's been on the air in the role, the nightly news program

has slipped 5 percent in total viewers year-to-year and an even steeper 9 percent in the critical

25-54 year-old news demographic that advertisers covet.

Since Glor took over "Evening News" last December from Scott Pelley, who went to "60

Minutes" full time, CBS has lost in total viewers for 24 out of those 26 weeks.

In addition to that, the show has declined for 25 of 26 weeks in both the 18-49 and advertiser-coveted

25-54 demos.

Again, that's year over year.

Have you Experienced Challenging Floats? - DSP 197 - Duration: 12:04.

>>Graham: Question.

"What's the most difficult float you've ever had, whether emotionally, physically

or other?", which I guess, spiritually?

>>Ashkahn: Okay.

>>Graham: Socially?

You had a weird community float, you know?

>>Ashkahn: All right.

You want to go first?

>>Graham: Yeah.

I'll just wing most difficult float ever.

Let's talk about a difficult float.

>>Ashkahn: I know my most difficult float.

>>Graham: Oh, well then you go first.

Go for it.

Yeah.

>>Ashkahn: Mine was actually, I was just really hungover.

I mean, that's the crux of the story; I was super hungover but I had a float booked the

next morning.

And I was like, "Yeah, I'll go in for this float."

And it was really hot; just the temperature was, I think, too warm and I was hungover,

and it just made me real uncomfortable.

I started to feel nauseous and I was sweating.

I've never not wanted to be in a float tank so much as that.

And I still stuck it through.

I was like, "No, you've gotta float."

I don't know why I didn't just get out.

But I did, I floated the entire time and it was miserable for the entirety of it because

I just felt horrible, so that wasn't fun.

That was my worst float.

>>Graham: Yeah.

I've had floats where parts of them are really, the most uncomfortable time that I've spent

in a float tank, but there were other parts of the float that were okay, so it's interesting.

I don't think I've had a float that's just been awful the entire way through.

So one example is, and this is the beginning of the float being bad was, I just exercised

that morning and done some stretching and then I went on a jog.

And I literally jogged up to the door of Float On after going for a couple miles, and went

in and showered off and got all ready and hopped in the float tank.

Normally I like the float tank a little cooler, so I have a note on my account; the staff

turns down the temperature on the float tank for me when I go in, which they'd done that

day, but I was already so hot from exercising.

And going in there, I left the door to the float tank fully open just to try and get

some cool air coming in there.

And even with that I was just overheating and actually had to get out and take a cold

shower and sit on the bench for 10 minutes or something, just to cool down my system

so it was comfortable enough for me to get back in the float.

But hopping directly into a tank right after heavy exercise, for me, was one of the most

unpleasant experiences where I just couldn't stay inside a tank.

>>Ashkahn: Yeah.

>>Graham: And I got another one too.

>>Ashkahn: All right.

>>Graham: The other half of the float, so that was a bad intro.

But then afterwards, it was actually really nice being in the float tank.

I think if I were to have exercised and then waited a half an hour, I'd still have a nice

experience.

On the flip side, when I was trying to do my 24-hour float, I only ended up making it

for 12 hours.

And the reason is, for the last hour, when I'd been in there, my scalp just started tingling.

And then the tingling turned to a slight itching, and the itching turned to a burning.

And it turns out when you've been in the float tank by yourself for 11 hours and then your

scalp starts burning, it's really hard to think of anything except that there's too

much hydrogen peroxide in there and you're just burning off your hair and you're going

to permanently damage your scalp, and your thoughts are all weird and floating.

And eventually I was just like, "Okay, I gotta get out of here.

I gotta get out of here."

And I checked the mirror to make sure I hadn't dissolved all the hair on my body, which I

hadn't.

But yeah, that's what ended up cutting my 24-hour float down to a 12-hour float, was

just things started getting so-

>>Ashkahn: Just worrying that your head was melting off?

>>Graham: Yeah.

>>Ashkahn: Totally normal into a float, I think.

>>Graham: So I think those were the two most uncomfortable experiences I personally had

in a float tank, and both of them where I actually had to get out because it was so

unpleasant.

>>Ashkahn: Yeah.

I mean, I drank a bunch of coffee before going in once.

That wasn't very-

>>Graham: Fast floats.

>>Ashkahn: Yeah.

I was not really enjoying.

I was all over the place and I was having a lot of trouble relaxing or anything like

that.

And I stuck in for that entire one too.

I don't know why.

I should just get out at a certain point if it feels like it's not happening.

>>Graham: But I actually like this question because it's a reminder that you can have

customers coming in and they can have bad floats like this.

>>Ashkahn: Yeah.

>>Graham: I mean, these weren't our first floats or anything like that, so even after

hundreds of floats, you can still have a bad float.

So on your first time, I think it's even more likely that something like this goes wrong,

or you didn't prepare properly.

For me, I end up getting hot in the float tank, so I need the temperature turned down.

Other people might not feel that, so it might just be even your first float, you don't even

know how your body interacts with the float tank.

>>Ashkahn: And when you're not experienced like us and you know how the whole thing works,

if it's your first time, you don't know what it's supposed to feel like.

You don't know if you're feeling too hot that it can be cooler and that would be a more

pleasant experience for you.

You're just like, "This is what floating is."

>>Graham: Yeah, or if you forgot to not drink caffeine and no one at the front desk says,

"Did you drink caffeine?"

Specifically coming in, you might not even associate a bad float or one where you can't

relax with that cup of coffee you had three hours ago or something.

So I mean, how do we take this into the real world then, knowing that, Ashkahn?

>>Ashkahn: Well, I mean, obviously this is why we warn people about things before they

come in, right?

>>Graham: Yeah.

>>Ashkahn: We warn them to not drink coffee, we warn them to not shave or wax so it doesn't

feel like their head is melting off.

>>Graham: Not get a full-face tattoo.

>>Ashkahn: Yeah.

That's to prevent things like that from happening.

And temperatures is frustrating.

It's one of those things that is the most common complaints you get, are things were

a little big warmer or a little bit cold.

And so letting people I know beforehand.

I mean, you could let people know going into the float tank that if they feel a little

warm or cold, to let you know and you can adjust the temperature, or reminding people

afterwards is what we do a lot.

After their first float, if they say something like that, we're like, "Oh, we can adjust

the temperature for you."

>>Graham: Yeah, it's a weird one, because a good amount do get hot or cold, but also

a lot of stuff is in our heads just as human beings.

>>Ashkahn: Right.

Just we run on different temperatures and whatever.

>>Graham: Yeah.

We don't really check in with people beforehand about being able to correct the temperature

afterwards, nor do we check in about a lot of things other than avoiding caffeine and

stuff like that, just because priming people feels weird.

You're almost priming them to pay more attention to the temperature if you're like, "Hey, some

people feel a little hot or a little cold.

Let us know."

I feel like they're actually paying more attention and might be more likely to just feel something's

off even if it otherwise would be comfortable.

>>Ashkahn: Right.

>>Graham: So I don't know.

Again, that's not like it's the right decision.

It's one of those where we're like, "Oh, I don't know what to do here," so we decided

on that.

>>Ashkahn: Yeah.

I mean, I think a lot of what we do is just making sure people know every float can be

different in that light.

>>Graham: Yeah.

Yeah.

>>Ashkahn: You come in and it's hard to tell exactly what's going to happen in there or

what it's going to feel like or where you're going to be, physically or emotionally or

any of that stuff.

And that's just part of the float experience.

And I think, for the most part, people get that.

>>Graham: Yeah.

Yeah.

And I think it's a great reminder to just really make sure you have great systems for

checking in with people afterwards in place as well.

>>Ashkahn: That's where we get most of our complaints about temperature.

Sometimes people don't even tell us, but it's because we have some sort of post-float check

in system where they'll actually be like, "Well, actually, everything was great but

I was really cold during the second half of it."

Then we can be like, "Oh, well we can turn the temperature up for you next time you come

in."

And they're like, "Oh, great."

>>Graham: Yeah.

Yeah.

And we double down too.

We try to catch people when they come out of their floats in the shop.

We actually have our staff members do email-behinds or call-behinds to people who have already

come in to ask them how their experience went.

There's an auto email that gets sent out 90 days later.

We avidly check all of our online review sites to see what people are saying and hopefully

get in touch with them.

So multi-prong approach too.

Anything that we can do, up to three months out, or even longer, to actually get that

feedback someone might not have given any time sooner, is sometimes the only way you'll

find out about weird experiences that people have.

And they're likely.

Again, if you're listening to this, you've probably had weird floats and it's probably

really fortunate that that wasn't your first, second and third float were all weird because

you might not be listening to this podcast and so excited to start a float center if

that had been the case.

Compassion, I guess, is what I'm getting at.

Just a good lesson in compassion.

>>Ashkahn: I don't know about that.

>>Graham: I don't see where you're coming from at all.

>>Ashkahn: What about emotionally?

I don't think I've ever had an emotionally difficult float; negative, I should say.

I've had floats where I have these moments of thinking through things that I don't think

I would have thought of outside the float tank, and they're important thoughts to me

or difficult things to come to terms with, but I've never had one that I felt was a negative

experience.

>>Graham: Yeah, me either.

I've definitely had floats where I'm just crying inside the float tank and dealing with

some serious stuff.

>>Ashkahn: Salt getting in your eyes.

>>Graham: Emotionally, not physically, is what we're talking about now.

>>Ashkahn: Oh, I see.

>>Graham: So metaphorical salt getting in my metaphorical eyes.

>>Ashkahn: Coming out of your eyes.

>>Graham: Yeah.

Coming out of my eyes.

Yeah, it's the other direction, yeah.

But even that's not a negative experience necessarily, nor did that make me get out

of the tank or anything like that.

>>Ashkahn: Yeah.

We did have someone.

Remember that person who was telling us about their dark floats?

>>Graham: Yeah.

>>Ashkahn: Do you remember that?

Someone who had floated, had a great experience, to the point where her friends and family

were like, "What's going on?

What are you doing?

You just seem like a different person."

And the floating was what she was attributing to totally just changing the way she was approaching

her life.

And she, after a handful of floats, had one that she just said she came out of and had

a weird experience inside, went to some weird places in her head, and came out of the float

in a really weird place and it just carried with her.

She called it her "dark float".

And then her friends and family, again, afterwards were like, "What's going on today?

What's wrong with you?"

So I don't know.

I guess that there are some dark floats out there.

>>Graham: Yeah.

I mean, yeah.

The float tank is just a body of salt water.

>>Ashkahn: And it's dark.

>>Graham: The human brain is vast and complex and can get pretty dark.

So the experience in the tank, of course, is only as vast as the human being having

them.

>>Ashkahn: I think most people have the response that we have though.

If you're going to those places or thinking those things, it's because you need to or

it's something you need to work through, and you ultimately find that to be a useful or

productive experience.

>>Graham: Yeah.

Yeah.

And I mean, I can think of people who haven't been able to stay in the tank.

I mean, just today someone stopped by to float on their way to their wedding.

>>Ashkahn: Right.

>>Graham: And we gave them a free float but they couldn't stay in the float tank for the

entire time.

>>Ashkahn: They're just super antsy.

>>Graham: Yeah.

Our manager said they were just too worked up, which was completely understandable.

But I'd describe that as an emotional enough float that you can't stay in.

You're just too excited for the fact that you're getting married that day.

Yeah.

All right.

>>Ashkahn: Yeah.

>>Graham: So there you go.

Got a little bonus answer there too.

What's the takeaways from you having challenging floats?

>>Ashkahn: Right.

Well if you guys have other questions, you can go over to floattanksolutions.com/podcast.
