(TAA DAHHHH!!!)

And this is called stabilizer stick or "Gimbal"

I just received it in my mail box. So let's see how it works!!

Hello I'm Ketchup Jo! And today I'm with....

I'm Fhai..

Today I asked her to come at the park near my home.

But today we have a new stuff. New toy.

Not really a toy actually lol..

Toy???

This is a gimbal.

I believe you many of you know what it is.

This is Mini-mi gimbal from Moza

The newest one.

I'll talk about its feature later.

But, today. Well, let me ask you first.

Have you ever used a gimbal before?

No, I have not.

Never

This is the reason why I asked her to come. Because she has never used it before!!

Really?!?

Which...

So, you asked me to come here because I've never used it before?

Yeahh...lol

Today, I'll use this iPhone.

And another one that Fhai holds is Google Pixel 2 XL.

Which is well-known in image stabilization

means that this phone has its built-in stabilizer!!

Today, I'll compare these 2 units.

Which one works better for the new user between gimbal and handheld cellphone

Which one is more stable??

Should not be that difficult, I guess.

Not difficult?

Well, let's see what it will be.

Ready!!

So Fhai, this is Google Pixel

Google Pixel

And this one is a gimbal with iPhone

iPhone

7Plus

7Plus

OK?

Ok. let me hold this first.

Then turn on. So, show me how to turn it on lol?

Well, I don't know how to use it. How do I know how to turn it on...

1...2...

Release.

Owww..

Wooww.

OK?

Can I turn a display down?

Yes, do like this.

push this button.

See?

So you push this button, it will turn up

I see. It is like a joystick.

Yeah..like a joystick.

Try to push left and right.

Yeahh. See?

Ok. So adjust as we wanted, right?

Let try now.

Bend on knee, right?

Yeah. Bend on your knee.

And keep walking. Keep walking

Keep walking

So, try walking normally.

Did you know how I felt?

While I held this, it just...

Lower?

It was getting lower lol.

Is it heavy?

No, it's not heavy.

Tired?

Just not familiar with it.

I see. Ok then.

1...2...3...Let's go.

How was it?

Well, difficult part was not holding this.

Because of running?

You had to watch it.

and not seeing path ahead.

Ohh woww.

I thought I ran very bad.

But it looks so smooth in here.

Look so smooth.

Like I ran so stable lol...

Look! VDO looks so professional with expensive gadget.

But we only use this one.

This round we'll use...

Google Pixel

This is Google Pixel

2XL

This model has image stabilization which is nice.

Let's try

But we'll try just handheld

So, how was it? I can feel the bridge was shaking!!!

Yeahh I can feel it was shaking lol..

Well, it's stable when I walked, but when I ran it....

Well, it depends on personal running skill lol...

But it's hard for me because I only looked at the camera.

I didn't see the ground.

Ummm...

Ok. My turn now.

Ok.

Don't forget if I win

Gimbal.

OK.

So gimbal, ok?

We have a deal that the winner gets this gimbal.

Well, I will hold this 2 at the same time.

Both walking and running

Are you sure holding 2 at the same time??

Sure!!

Wooow

So, look at this.

Let's make it fair.

Start recording.

Start recording.

Ready..

Ok.

Ready

1st round, I will walk to the end of the bridge

And I will run back here.

My heart is breathing so hard!!

But....this is more shaking..

How was it?

Tired.

But if we press this button 3 times

Look

1..2..3..

Hellooo.

It can take selfie!!

Yes, we can selfie with this.

Awesome!!

It can take selfie, but we cannot see ourselves.

Because display is on the another side

But actually, we can switch it to front camera, but...

it's not very clear, so we'd better use main camera.

Well, let's see if we can take good shoots using this gimbal??

Let's go!!

New mode. It's called "Inception"

Let's try.

What!! It turns itself?!?

Ahh haaa..

Look!!!

Ohhh...

Ohhhh...

Look!! It turns over!!!

Well, it makes me dizzy now lol..

Right. It looked just fine when I shoot.

I'll try to run full speed.

I want to know how stable it will be.

Now, I want to try between my professional camera which has image stabilization in a len.

And a gimbal from Moza in comparison.

Let's do this at the same time.

Start this one first

This time let's do selfie.

Wait! It's slippery.

Yayyy..

So, how was this review of how to use....

What is it called again?

Gimbal!

Gimbal from Moza.

This model is called Mini-mi.

And this Google Pixel.

Pixel 2 XL

And what do you think about this 2 stuffs?

Which one is more stable?

This is for a beginner. Have you used it before?

No, I have not. Today is the first time using this.

Never use it before!!

Today is her first time which came out....

Well, let's have everyone comment.

Wait! we still cannot tell who shoot more stable.

Me of course!!!

Well, I don't think so.

Don't need to ask.

Me!! I'm sure I did it better!

How about we have everyone comment that

who should be the winner between Fhai or Jo

Or uncle Jo..

You just tease yourself lol...

OK. If most people say that Fhai has done better. She will get this gimbal.

But if I have done better which is sure, Ketchup Jo has done better.

Of course, they will choose me!!

Of course not!

This one too!!!

Let's the audience decide.

How about if I loose, I get this phone, but if I win, I get this gimbal??

Oh well, then we stop now..

You just want 2 of them!!!

Thank you for watching!!

Why?!? Can't you just sacrifice to me?

No!!

No?? What?

Be on my side, pleasee

Let's do a gimbal first. The winner gets gimbal.

Thank you for watching. See you in next VDO.

Bye Byeeee

Chris O'Dowd Turned a Booze Cruise Win into Five Months in Paris - Duration: 9:36.

-I follow you on Twitter. -Thank you.

-You're funny. You're welcome. Yeah.

And I suddenly really got into the World Cup this year.

Are you a big soccer fan -- or football fan?

-Love the World Cup.

-You do? -Oh, I love the World Cup.

And I like soccer.

I was more of a Gaelic-football guy.

Have you ever seen -- Yes, that's right.

-Yeah.

-That's right, four people. -That's a rough --

-Gaelic football is a sport they just play in Ireland.

It's played a lot by farmers, people from the countryside.

Very rural. -Yeah.

-Very rough, brutal, but beautiful,

like a big wave or having a --

-That's fantastic.

-Having a statue fall on your nuts or something.

-Oh, wow.

-It's quite -- I have a lot of injuries from it.

Broke my nose a couple of times.

This finger is a different size than this finger.

Different kind of ankles.

And I have the skeletal structure of a very old giraffe.

But great sport. You should try it.

-You should definitely try that.

-If you like wresting or death.

-You watched the World Cup.

I saw you were tweeting live when France won.

-Yes. I was happy to see them win.

It was good.

The last time they won was in 1998,

and I was living in Paris.

And the whole thing was in Paris.

-That's right. -And so that was quite exciting.

-I mean, they just partied like crazy?

-It was pretty big.

I was working in an Irish bar at the time,

and trying to get home was kind of tricky afterwards.

And kind of a million people went out onto the street.

And they shut down the subway,

and there was no traffic and everything.

And so, you know, we were pretty tanked

and we went looking for somewhere to sleep,

because we were never going to make it back to our place.

So, we walked to the river

and we tried to get on somebody's boat.

And this guy kind of jumped out, and he was like...

[ Shouting in French ]

...which means, "My family are on the boat."

-Oh, so you can't sleep in there, yeah.

-So, he said, "But the dinghy."

And he had a dinghy out the back of the boat,

and we slept on his dinghy, six of us,

'cause he was French, as you could probably tell.

-Yeah, yeah. That was a good accent.

Yeah, I could tell. Yeah.

For a second, I thought it might have been...

-That was good, right? -...Mexican.

No, I was great. Yeah, absolutely.

-I don't know a lot of French, but --

-"Trabajo" sounds like a word. Yeah, yeah. Of course.

-And, so, we slept on the dinghy

and then kind of woke up the next morning,

and somebody pulling off this kind of sheet that they

put over us, this rubberized sheet,

that we wouldn't get drowned.

And the Eiffel Tower was there,

and we were like, "This is living.

This is --"

-I mean, that's the way to do it.

-We're in heaven, and it's French.

-Is that right? I did not know that.

That's very interesting.

-I mean, they've been telling us for a while.

-Why were you in Paris? Were you vacationing there?

-You know, it was odd.

I went on a show not unlike this.

There's a show in Ireland called "The Late Late Show,"

which is a really long-running talk show.

And they do this thing where the host does kind of

an Oprah throughout the course of the show,

where he's like, "Oh, and we've got, like, this stuff,

and everybody in the audience can have one."

You should do that, by the way. That would play well.

[ Cheers and applause ]

Who wants some gin and blood?! -Gin and blood, yeah.

Half the audience did like it, yeah.

-They did this thing where they said,

"Okay, we've got tickets for this ferry that are going

from Rosslare, in Ireland, to France, to Cherbourg,

and we've got four tickets for everybody in the audience.

And we were kind of drunk students at the time.

And, so, 16 of us headed off on a ferry to France for a day.

We said, okay, we would go for a day.

It was kind of a booze-cruise kind of a thing.

And we arrived in France, and I had never been abroad.

I had never been out of the country before.

I was probably 19. And I thought, "Oh, it's nice.

They've got bread and wine and cheese

and all of this kind of stuff."

And I said, "Let's go to Paris for the day.

Everybody with me?" And everybody was like, "No."

So, I went to Paris on my own

and ended up staying for five months.

-What?! This is a great story.

-It was kind of wild, I suppose, looking back on it.

But I thought, "Okay, well, I'll go and see

a couple of the sights and then I'll go back

on the train and get back on the ferry and go home."

So, I went to the Eiffel Tower and I was walking around

and I was about to jump back on the train

to go home, and somebody went, "Chris!"

And it was a girl that I knew from home

who had been on some exchange program.

And she's like, "Oh, yeah, I'm about to go home, as well,

but let's go out tonight."

And so we went out that night

and we went into this cocktail bar on the Champs-Elysées,

and it was the wildest place I've ever seen.

I was quite green, I think, and hadn't been away so much.

And, so, I asked them for a job,

and they kind of pan me off and said, "No, no, no.

You can't have a -- You know, we don't need anybody."

And I was like, "But I'm really good at cocktails,"

which was not so much the case.

Never done it.

-Good at drinking it, but not making it, no.

-Yeah. And they said,

"Well, come in for an interview tomorrow."

And so, I said, "Okay."

And I went in, and the guy didn't turn up.

And I kind of went over and I was like, "Is Marco here?"

And this lady was like, "No, I'm the day manager.

Marco doesn't work during the day."

And I was like, "What a dick, just to tell me to come."

And, so, it was kind of crazy,

'cause the World Cup had just started.

Then I was going over and talking to her,

and somebody just dropped a whole tray of drinks.

And I was like, "There's a little thing going on here."

And she said, "Why are you here?"

And I said, "I'm supposed to start work today."

And she said, "Oh, God.

Well, he never tells me anything!"

-'Cause she's mad at him, too. -Yeah.

And she's like, "Okay, well, grab a T-shirt."

And so she gave me a T-shirt, and I got behind the bar.

And it was a big bar, and there was a bunch of people.

And there was one guy from Ireland there,

and I was like, "Dude, I have no idea what I'm doing."

And he's like, "That's okay.

Just pull pints, and I'll make the cocktails,

and we'll work it out."

And then, that night, Marco comes in,

the manager for the thing,

and he's like, "What the hell are you doing behind a bar?"

And I was like, "Well, I did the interview with Annalise."

[ Laughter ]

-Dude, you're a genius! You are a genius. Why not?

-Yeah, that was crazy.

That's the kind of stuff you do when you're 19.

I know. When you're 19. Gosh. -Yeah, fun time.

-Well, I have to say, we had your pal, Rose Byrne,

your co-star.

-Oh, you had her on. -She was on the show.

-Did she say nice things about me?

-Yeah, absolutely. She definitely did.

"Juliet, Naked" is the name of the film.

-Yes. -And explain this film.

You're obsessed with -- Ethan Hawke is a --

-That's right.

Ethan Hawke plays a singer/songwriter

from the '80s, '90s, kind of a Jeff Buckley type of figure

that I'm obsessed with.

I'm a huge fan.

Rose and I are together in the film.

And he releases a new album, his first in 20 years.

He's this recluse. And I don't treat her very well.

I'm kind of just this kind of nerdy, music-y guy.

And she, you know, deserves better.

And, so, I kind of --

I'm more in love with him, really, than I am with her.

And we track him down, and it doesn't go very well for me.

-Not for you, but -- -No.

-But it goes well -- -But they get on great.

-Yeah. [ Laughter ]

Exactly. It's great. It's good.

It's a good, like, romantic comedy.

Jesse Peretz directs it. It's fantastic.

-It's a really fun movie, yeah, and the music's great.

-You're great in everything I've seen you in.

"Get Shorty," is also you're very funny in, as well.

-Oh, thank you. -This is on Epix.

And we just had your co-star -- Ray Romano was just --

-Did he say nice things about me?

-Yes, he did.

-Weirdly, every week, we have people that like you,

just talk about you,

and, eventually, we get you on the show.

But he really did -- -Ray is the best.

-He is one of the funniest human beings,

like, whatever he's even saying.

He could just read a phone book and make you laugh.

-He's got the best voice.

He's got a voice -- I don't know.

You know, it's like a dog waking up.

You know, Ray's going... [ Yawns as Romano ]

[ Laughter ]

-A dog waking up.

[ Both speaking as Romano ]

-Yeah, let's see a movie. -Yeah.

-[ Normal voice ] Oh, but he's great.

He's so funny on the show.

[ As Romano ] Eh. Yeah, I know.

[ Normal voice ] But he's great.

And he plays kind of, like -- I love working with him,

because he's very present and he's kind of still

always looking for a punch line, and it's so kind of smart.

And he plays desperation better than anybody I've ever seen,

in a way that makes you feel like maybe he's quite desperate.

And then you kind of go to his mansion

and you're like, "Nah, he's doing all right.

-Yeah. He's doing just fine. -Yeah.

But he's the best. -It's a great series.

It's almost like watching a movie.

But that's how well done it's directed and shot.

-Oh, thank you.

-"She's probably reading a book of poems.

There's something that's going to inspire this couple."

-There's a certain poetry, yeah. -But we actually --

you brought the book that you were reading.

Now that I know -- it's a poolside tequila book.

It's Called "Farts: A Spotter's Guide."

[ Laughter and applause ]

Fred, do you think you could maybe guess what this is about?

-It seems pretty serious. -What?

-Very, very serious book. -So, this is about --

So, you were -- You were just playing this --

Was -- Were people enjoyed to -- by your fart joke.

-It was hilarious. -Yeah.

-Everyone was laughing a lot. -Okay, that's good.

[ Light laughter ] Thank you for sharing

the part of Glenn Close... -Yeah.

-...that we didn't know was out there.

-Well, are you going to do one of them?

-Yeah, I'll do one.

I mean, by the way, this is not --

-They also have Latin names, which I think's --

-Okay. So, here is the "Flight of the Buttock Bees."

This is analretentivenus producili.

Wait, hold on. -Do it on the microphone.

-Yeah.

[ Static crackling ] No.

[ Laughter ]

I think --

Glenn, I think you wore out the batteries at the wedding.

Topher Grace on Playing David Duke in BlacKkKlansman - Duration: 6:06.

-It is so lovely to see you. -What happened, Seth?

-I know. Well, we have known each other for a very long time.

-We were hanging out in our 20s together.

-We were. -And now I look up,

and you're on the cover of "Time" magazine.

It's like -- What happened? -Yeah, a lot happened.

Because we were in our 20s.

We weren't doing much that you would have thought

would be on any magazine. -No, I was positive

you would never be on the cover of "Time" magazine.

-It was like some police-blotter [bleep],

I would say, more than anything. -Yeah, there was some stuff.

-But you -- You hosted "SNL" in 2005.

That's when we got to know each other. You had a place.

You had a really nice apartment in New York.

-Yes, I decided to move to New York

'cause I had such a great week hosting "SNL"

and I shot a movie here.

And then I had -- This is the greatest thing ever.

You move to New York. I invited Seth over.

And he said, "Hey, can I bring some friends?"

And it was like half the cast of "SNL."

-Yeah, when anybody with a nice apartment invited us over,

we had to bring everybody we knew.

-I just couldn't get -- My first night in New York,

and it's, like, Amy Poehler is doing impressions.

I had, like, a karaoke machine.

Horatio Sanz is doing, like, his Elton John impression.

-He was scream-singing Elton John.

-That was like, you know, "Welcome to New York.

This is the dream."

And then like a month or two later, I saw you at a party,

and I was with, like, a platonic girlfriend of mine.

She said, "Oh, my God. I have the biggest crush on Seth Meyers."

I'm like, "I know him. I hosted 'SNL.' I know this guy."

So we went over to say hi to you,

and you were really nice to her, and then you said,

"By the way, Topher, you were, like, the greatest host ever."

I was like, "Oh, well, I mean, maybe for the season,

but not for, like, the whole -- Not ever."

And you go, "Oh, my God. No, I meant at your house that time.

[ Laughter ]

You were actually not that good a host at 'SNL.'"

[ Applause ]

-I value one so much higher than the other.

By the way, man, congratulations on this movie.

-Thank you. -It's fantastic.

The reviews are wonderful. And you had not an easy task.

And for those who haven't seen this film,

there is a strange lightness to this story.

I mean, it's really told in a really unique way.

But you have to play this,

you know, horrifying person, David Duke.

-Yeah. -And there are times

which I would imagine it's intimidating enough

working with a director like Spike Lee,

but he would give you notes on how to perform David Duke.

-Yeah, just taking the role and the research I had to do --

I mean, I've done research on roles before,

but this was, like, the worst research imaginable.

So it was, like, a terrible month, and then I showed up,

and we did all the Klan rally stuff first.

And this is why you have to work with a great director like Spike Lee.

So, you know, he kind of takes care of you

and makes you feel better, but every once in a while, he --

You know this -- In comedy films,

he'll kind of run in

and give you something to improv at the end.

Like, at the end of the scene or if they have an idea,

they'll kind of whisper something in your ear and say,

"Try throwing that in," so none of the actors will know

about it, none of the crew or anything.

And on this film, Spike would run in and say in my ear,

like, the most racist thing I'd ever heard.

And I'd go, "Hey, man, like, no need to whisper it to me.

Like, I don't want the credit when I say it."

[ Laughter ]

The whole crew is like, "Uh, did Topher come up with that?"

So I made him announce it.

I was like, "I'll repeat what you said to the entire crew."

-And then you -- I know you watched --

you listened to early radio of David Duke,

you watched old video.

-When I got the call -- Spike Lee called me himself.

He said, "You're my guy." It's great day in your career.

I could tell it was just going to be a great movie.

And then I realize, "Oh, this is going to be worst month of my life."

I read his autobiography, which is called "My Awakening."

It's kind of like his "Mein Kampf."

It's, like, horrible.

And I watched old filmed interviews.

And there were actually some -- In the early '80s,

he did some episodes of "Donahue."

-Oh, wow. -And that was where I really

drilled down on what made him so evil.

It was a studio audience like this, and they all hated him.

You know, he was the Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan.

So they're all booing at him.

And by the end of --

It wasn't that he flipped the crowd,

but by the end of the show,

they had a different attitude towards him.

I thought, "Oh, this guy is truly evil in a really..."

-And he has a charisma about him.

You know, that's a thing that... -Yes.

-...is the scariest in the hands of the truly evil,

is people are charismatic.

But how do you even get your hands on the David Duke book?

-Well -- [ Laughs ] That was, like, terrible.

First, I went to Barnes & Noble.

I wasn't even thinking. I was like...

[ Laughter ]

"Hey, I need 'My Awakening' by David Duke."

And they're like, "Sorry. We don't carry that."

And then I went on Amazon,

and, you know, they ask you a couple times,

like, "Did you mean to order this thing?"

And then since then, I've been getting,

like, the weirdest recommendations.

-[ Laughs ] Yeah.

You were also in a fantastic Netflix film earlier this year,

"War Machine" -- Or I guess last year now.

But you got to work with Brad Pitt.

-Yeah, I'm so excited.

'Cause there is a little bit of a buzz around "BlacKkKlansman."

And I made a deal with Brad on the set.

By the way, Brad didn't want to hang out with me,

I'm sure, as much as he had to.

But it all took place in the desert, so it was like...

-Yeah.

-..."Sorry, man. Just you and me."

We'd be in a Black Hawk helicopter

for, like, you know, the whole day.

So, anyway, after a long period of time,

I got the courage to ask him what I wanted,

which was at an Academy Award thing --

We don't go to the same parties, me and Brad.

But I was like, "If I get into an Academy Award-type movie,

I want to be at that "Vanity Fair" after-party,

and I want you to come up to me

when I'm talking to someone important."

He promised me he'd do this.

And be like, "Topher, good to see you."

And I want to be like, "Brad, not now."

[ Laughter ] -This is your opportunity.

I think "BlacKkKlansman" is going to be it.

Korea topped global shipbuilding industry in July - Duration: 0:38.

The nation maintained its number one ranking in the global shipbuilding market in July.

According to Clarkson Research, Korea received orders in July totaling 9-hundred-70-thousand

compensated gross tonnage or CGT, a measure of work needed to build a vessel.

That accounts for about fifty percent of the month's global shipbuilding orders.

China was runner-up with 2-hundred-80-thousand CGTs of orders.

Trailing in third place is Japan with 1-hundred-20-thousand.

Seoul widened the gap with Beijing to 1-point-4-4 million CGTs in the January to July period.

Global shipbuilding orders last month increased by thirty-eight percent from the month prior.

Pres. Moon hosts luncheon in honor of independence fighters - Duration: 2:36.

President Moon Jae-in invited national heroes and their families to the top office for luncheon

today.

He pledged not just continued financial support, but also collaboration with North Korea to

excavate the remains of Ahn Jung-geun, one of the most celebrated indpendent activists

in history.

Hwang Hojun shares with us his remarks.

A day before the 73rd anniversary of Korea's liberation from Japanese colonial rule, the

South Korean President invited a dozen independence fighters and more than 200 relatives of national

heroes to the Blue House for a luncheon in their honor.

"I'm grateful that I was invited out of so many people.

I couldn't be more satisfied.

What more could I possibly want?"

"Well, it is truly a great honor.

I know that I have done nothing to deserve such an honor.

My great grandfather is the true hero."

President Moon Jae-in has been adamant that South Korea will pay due respect to her heroes.

But this time, he insisted that more important than words... is action.

"Next year marks the 100th anniversary of the March 1st Independence Movement as well

as the establishment of the Provisional Government of Korea.

In light of that, we will carry out a joint project with North Korea to excavate the remains

of Ahn Jung-geun."

The idea was first introduced and agreed upon by President Moon and North Korean leader

Kim Jong-un at the 1st Inter-Korean summit on April 27th.

President Moon also called for more financial support for Korea's patriots as an investment

in the future.

"The way we treat the relatives of the independence fighters is an indicator of patriotism among

the next generation."

He noted that starting this year, special allowances to those families have been increased

by 50 percent; about 17-thousand people are receiving such support.

President Moon said he will make sure that up to three generations of the patriots' relatives

are able to enjoy stable lives.

He also underscored that the government is now providing housing for those who live overseas

but wish to return to their ancestors' homeland.

And last but not least, President Moon stressed that the nation will keep searching for forgotten

heroes; 202 women were added to the list of independence fighters this year.

The slogan for the Tuesday luncheon was "Remembering the heroes in the name of Korea."

According to President Moon, truly honoring the heroes who fought for Korea's independence

can only be completed by continuing to discover, remember, and repay all the sacrifices they

made for the nation.

South Korea's export and import prices rise in July - Duration: 1:39.

Seoul's export and import prices spiked in July.

Data by the nation's central bank shows the key driving factor is the Korean currency

sliding against the greenback.

Kim Hye-sung help us look beyond the digits.

South Korea's import prices increased for the seventh consecutive month in July due

to the weakening Korean won.

The Bank of Korea says the import price index rose one-point-seven percent on-month, recording

89-point-eight-one in July, the highest monthly figure since November 2014.

Compared to the same period last year, the index is up more than twelve percent.

The local currency weakened against the U.S. dollar, recording an average of one-thousand-1-hundred-22-point-eight

won last month, pushing up Korea's import prices despite a slight fall in global oil

prices.

In particular, intermediate goods prices increased more than two percent on-month on rising coal

and chemical goods prices.

Without the change in the won-dollar exchange rate, the Bank of Korea says July's import

prices would've ticked down zero-point-eight percent on-month.

Export prices rose two-point-three percent on-month to 87-point-five-six.

"Export prices rose on the back of the weakening Korean won and the strong U.S. dollar.

Export prices, especially of industrial goods like metals and machinery,... went up."

"The Bank of Korea says export and import prices -- import prices in particular -- affect

future consumer prices, so this could mean higher inflation in the months to come.

Kim Hyesung, Arirang News."

Looking for the remains of patriot Ahn Jung-geun after the Panmunjeom Declaration - Duration: 3:19.

More than a century has passed since Ahn Jung-geun gave his life for his country's freedom.

And yet, his remains are nowhere to be found.

Which is why the two Koreas are planning an excavation project dedicated to that cause.

According to our Hong Yoo, hopes are high, progress will be made soon, to bring him back

home.

(Even in heaven, I will invest all my energy for our independence.

AHN Jung-geun)

Ahn Jung-geun, who fought for Korea's independence and killed Ito Hirobumi, one of the main people

behind Japan's annexation of Korea, is yet to be brought home.

Ahn's remains are known to be buried somewhere near the Lushun Prison but have yet to be

found and his tomb waiting for him in Seoul remains empty.

Little progress has been made toward finding the remains of patriot Ahn Jung-geun since

the last time South Korea tried to look for the corpse with the help of China in 2008.

But there are renewed hopes of finding Ahn's remains thanks to the Panmunjeon Declaration

in which the South Korean President Moon Jae-in, and the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un agreed

in April to make joint efforts to find Ahn's body.

Past searches were not successful as China, which has access to important information

for the excavation, was not so cooperative.

"The Chinese government stated that the request for the excavation of Ahn Jung-geun's remains

must come from both South and North Korea since Ahn's homeland is officially Hwanghae-do

Province, located in North Korea.

With China having clearly stated its stance, the only way to start another excavation is

through cooperation between the two Koreas."

When South Korea requested for topographic maps of the prison, China rejected the request

saying that the region was a military base in the past so the Chinese military won't

allow such information to be shared.

So South Korea's request for protection of the land where it is most likely that Ahn's

body might be was also ignored and the area went through a lot of changes.

"We think they must have carried out his body through this door and they must have used

this road to get here."

Cooperation from Japan is also important.

Perhaps the most crucial clue to find the body is in Japanese hands.

"The document that specifically states that Ahn was buried in one of the public cemeteries

of the prison is kept by Japan.

The Japanese government is really meticulous at keeping records of everything.

As such, there must be a document with the exact location of Ahn's remains.

We keep asking Japan for it, but Tokyo has been uncooperative regarding our request.

Moreover, this is not an issue that can be resolved in a short amount of time."

And to find such a document, research from both the government and private sector is

needed, and the two must work together for the project to be a success.

Ahn Jung-geun's last words were "bury my body again in my homeland when our nation's

sovereignty is restored."

Hopefully, if the momentum for peace between the two Koreas continues, Ahn's wish could

be at last fulfilled.

Speculation swirls on exact date of third Moon-Kim summit - Duration: 1:38.

It's official, another inter-Korean summit will be held in September on the Northern

side ofthe border.

But there's been a firestorm of speculation about the exact date, among other details.

Park Hee-jun tells us more.

At Monday's high-level inter-Korean talks at the border,... it was decided South Korean

President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un will meet in Pyongyang sometime

in September for their third summit.

"We agreed the summit needs to take place as soon as possible, but considering North

Korea's schedule, we've initially decided to hold it in September and set the date through

discussions.

Realistically, it can't happen in August."

The specific date, however,... remains unclear.

Seoul's presidential office told reporters after the talks,... that the inter-Korean

summit will most likely happen in mid or late-September.

Blue House Spokesman Kim Eui-kyeom said it's difficult to hold the summit earlier,... due

to North Korea's schedule,... mainly the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the North

Korean regime on September 9th.

He added the specific summit date will have to be set through further working-level talks.

But Moon Chung-in , special advisor to President Moon,... thinks the date has already been

set.

He told South Korean cable channel JTBC that he expects the summit to happen between September

12th and 13th,... which would be the first working day after North Korea's September

9th holiday.

It's also widely believed by experts that the summit will happen before the UN General

Assembly kicks off in New York City on September 18th.

World leaders, including President Moon, are scheduled to give speeches there in the final

week of the month.
