And destruction of the land was shielded with the myth of progress.
The farmers were oppressed by the landlords.
And those innocent had their fingers chopped off.
A fire of revolt was burning within them all.
And there was a great revolt.
And the English feared the revolt so much that they gave up.
And resorted to means of peace and courteous behavior.
But that did not stay for long.
And a bad example was set by then Viceroy Dalhousie and his tyranny.
And rages the fire of revolt in the soldiers.
And that fire begins to spread from Bengal to the whole of the nation.
Ajay Kumar Singh, Maharashtra's Nana Saheb..
..and also Rani Laxmi Bai of Jhansi also took part.
And they over-threw the English Rule at the centre.
And King Bahadur Shah took over the throne in Delhi.
But that could not be held for long.
And after much plotting, Cornel Viceroy took him out of power.
The old king and his queen were imprisoned.
And all his courtiers and followers were shot..
..and their bodies were hung across the grounds of Chandni Chowk.
And all the remaining fled the land and took refuge in the jungle.
And like poor peasants they lived with raging pain in their hearts.
But their wounds would not heal so soon.
And then Queen Victoria came with the word of peace.
But this was not received well by all.
The revolts of Bhutan against the tyranny over the land..
..he destruction of culture and caste divide.
And this struck a fear in the hearts of the English again.
And that caused the English to plan to divide and rule Bengal.
And that caused another fierce revolt to form.
Bankim Chandra's chants of 'Vande Mataram' filled hearts with bravery.
And they were further inspired by the great Surendra Nath.
And that was ended by the hanging of Khudiram and Kanai Lal.
And Sri Aurobindra was sentenced in case of some bombings.
The heroic Chittaranjan gave up his life too for the revolt.
1914 the English were attacked by the strength of..

And all the other leaders of the land were requested to stop.
And in return, the deal agreed upon was of Self Rule for the nation.
