Elliott Broidy, the former deputy finance chair of the Republican party itself, a top

fundraiser for Donald Trump and the man who paid off a woman who he had an affair with,

which actually forced him to resign his post at the RNC, is now under investigation by

the U.S. Department of Justice for possibly soliciting money from foreign governments

in an attempt to give them access to the President of the United States.

Broidy is not just a Trump confidant and a very close friend of his, he's not just a

former high-ranking official within the Republican party itself, he is also a defense contractor,

and that's something that few people are aware of.

I wasn't aware of it til a few days ago.

I knew his name, didn't know what he did.

But this is a guy who runs a defense firm that gets tons of money from the federal government,

but that apparently wasn't enough for Broidy, according to these new allegations that the

Justice Department is investigating.

He wanted more.

He wanted 10s of millions of dollars, I think it's actually upwards of 75 million dollars

that he sought from the Malaysian government in order to give them access to Donald Trump.

There is no indication whatsoever that the Trump administration was aware of what Broidy

was doing, but he wanted the Malaysian government to pay him 75 million dollars.

He would then get the Malaysian government and the Trump administration talking so that

the Trump administration would let go of a former prime minister who was accused of embezzling

billions of dollars, basically, while he was Prime Minister of Malaysia.

That's what Broidy allegedly did according to this, but that's not the only thing.

He also, basically, did the same thing with China, sought money from the Chinese government

in exchange to get them talking to the Trump administration so they could convince Trump

to extradite a Chinese criminal who was here in the United States.

They wanted him back over there, and that actually did end up happening, by the way.

Nonetheless, Broidy kind of represents what the entire Republican party is about today:

Anything for money.

If you've got money, it doesn't matter if we know what you're wanting to do is illegal,

just pay us the money and we will gladly do it.

This is the kind of thing that we see all the way from the top to the bottom in the

Republican party on a near daily basis at this point.

Give us some money, we'll repeal these regulations, even though the court say that we have to

enforce them.

Give us some money, and yeah, we'll arrange meetings that we know are illegal and it's

illegal for me to take this money, but I love money so much that I am willing to risk my

freedom as a U.S. citizen to set this thing up; and that is exactly what Broidy has done

here.

He could be looking at very serious jail time at this point.

It was bad enough for him a few months ago when the details about his affair and the

payoff came out and he was forced to resign from the RNC in disgrace, but now, if the

DOJ finds out that this evidence is credible, which they have every reason to believe it

is because his emails were actually hacked and released where he was shown to be making

these arrangements; so yeah, it's pretty likely at this point that Broidy is probably going

to spend at least some of the next few years in prison.

Hopefully, he's going to be followed by many others within the Republican party who have

been using other people using their money to basically circumvent our democratic process

here in the United States.

Would You Want a Kidney from a Human Pig Hybrid? How Chimeras Will - Duration: 6:58.

Every single day, 22 Americans die while waiting for a transplant.

The solution?

Grow custom organs inside an animal host.

A chimera.

Will you be ordering a kidney or an heart from a human-pig hybrid on Amazon this time

next year?

Hello, how are your kidneys doing?

This is Katherine.

Welcome to 00Kidney!

Don't forget to subscribe and turn on notifications!

Chimeras are coming When people die every day there's a problem

that must be solved.

Politicians are trying to solve this problem with an opt-out organ donation system.

It will be in place in Europe starting from the next year.

In the meanwhile, scientist are going a totally different road: transplantable organs grown

inside human-pigs hybrid.

Are these chimeras the key to produce life-saving lab-grown organs?

Thanks to the miracle of genetic manipulation, they could be.

As soon as scientist will be able to fully grow a human kidney or an heart inside a human-pig

hybrid, the organ shortage will be history.

And, right now, there's more hope than ever.

Thanks to some recent developments, chimeras could become reality a lot sooner than people

expect.

But what is a chimera?

During the times of the Ancient Greece, a chimera was this mythological lion with the

head of a goat arising from its back, and a tail ending with a snake's head.

Today, what scientists are trying to accomplish are not these fire breathing monsters.

In medical world, a chimera is a living organism originated from the cells of two or more different

organisms.

Scientists have already created chimera embryos.

A team led by the Salk Institute has already proven that human cells can thrive in a non-human

organism.

A pig, to be more specific.

This team is using nonfederal funding, since the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH)

decided not to fund works on chimeras.

They think this is too controversial.

More on this in a moment.

Why chimeras can be the answer to organ shortage Another team at the University of Texas Medical

Branch at Galveston has gone even further: They have bioengineered functioning lungs.

Then, they transplanted these lungs into a pig.

In 5 years, they say, growing organs inside chimeras could be start solving the human

organ shortage.

So maybe you cannot find organs on amazon right now, but what about the next decade?

The controversy The creation in a lab of human-animal hybrid

has sparked several controversy.

Most are worried that the human DNA could boost the animal's intelligence.

Or even create sperm or eggs and make the chimera fertile.

In 2015, the NIH, the U.S. National Institutes of Health, decided to suspend all the funding

for studies on chimeras, due to the moral issue.

Chimeras are a mix between human DNA and DNA from some animal.

While scientist's aim is to isolate only certain organs to express human genetic material,

the whole chimera will comprise some human genetic material.

Today, all chimeras are destroyed as embryos.

When we will start harvesting organs, we will need to take them from fully grown organisms.

And what about the "moral status"? these organisms will contain human DNA.

Will it be our right to kill them to harvest organs?

Will they have the right to continued existence?

When the human pig hybrids will be fully grown, will they have the cognitive abilities of

a normal pig or will their brain evolve due to the presence of the human DNA?

How should we check for the functionality of its brain?

What will make the difference between an animal that can be harvested for organs at our commodity

and a human like creature with a right to live?

Leave a comment and tell me what you think about this issue.

This is all for today!

Who is considered the first YouTuber - Duration: 1:49.

Jawed Karim founder of Youtube posted the first-ever video to YouTube.

I love this question! I never have thought of that. I did a little research, and the

first Youtube upload was from You Tube co-creator Jawed Karim. It was uploaded April 23, 2005,

20:27:12 PDT called "Me at the Zoo". Jawed Karim was born in Merseburg, East Germany

in 1979. His father, Naimul Karim, is a Muslim Bangladeshi who works as a researcher at 3M

and his mother, Christine, is a German scientist of biochemistry at the University of Minnesota.

He crossed the old East-West German border with his family in 1981 and grew up in Neuss,

West Germany, after which he moved with his family to Saint Paul, Minnesota in 1992. While studying

at the University of Illinois, Department of Computer Science, he decided to leave before graduation

to become an early employee of PayPal.  After co-founding YouTube Karim enrolled as

a graduate in computer science at Stanford, while still acting as an adviser to YouTube.

When the site was eventually launched, Karim decided not to be an employee, but rather

an informal adviser because he wanted to focus on his studies. As a result, he took

a much lower share in the company compared to Hurley and Chen and subsequently became

a mostly unknown, third founder of YouTube. Despite his lower share in the company, the

purchase of YouTube by Google in 2006 was still large enough for him to aquire stock

worth about $64 million. In March 2008, Karim launched a venture fund

called Youniversity Ventures, with the goal of helping current and former university students

to develop and launch their business ideas.

Cheers!

Anonymous: Site Blocking Countermeasure, Phase 2, "Signal" - Duration: 5:24.

Dear Government of Japan

We are Anonymous Japan

It seems we underestimated how ignorant and reckless you truly are.

When you began Site Blocking in cooperation with NTT Communications earlier this year,

you showed how little you respect your own Constitution.

In the name of protecting a failing legacy industry,

you empowered Japanese ISPs to monitor users in violation of Article 21 of the Japanese Constitution.

In response, we began translating and distributing software to help bypass Site Blocking,

beginning with Onion Browser for iOS devices.

But it seems even this wasn't enough.

You see fit to unilaterally attack internet infrastructure itself,

without any concern for the collateral damage.

On August 15th, it was reported that the Government's Intellectual Property Strategy Headquarters

was considering proposals to allow rights holders to use Denial-of-Service attacks against pirate sites.

This proposal is reckless and irresponsible.

So-called DoS Attacks are illegal under the laws of many nations,

and many pirate sites exist outside Japanese jurisdiction.

Allowing Japanese corporations to attack foreign servers under Japanese law

is nothing short of state-sponsored cybercrime by the Japanese government.

In addition, DoS Attacks are an indiscriminate attack form which incur collateral damage.

Unrelated sites sharing server space with alleged pirate sites will also be taken down.

Allowing Japanese corporations to freely commit cyberattacks

also creates a risk of false positives and over-enforcement.

Small sites misidentified as pirate sites

will have to deal with the power of a massive Japanese corporation,

and it isn't clear that there will be any legal penalties for mistaken cyberattacks.

Finally, there is significant potential for abuse.

Japanese corporations, or even the government, may broaden the use of "legal DoS Attacks"

to take down sites of competitors or critics, under the guise of stopping crime.

To be clear, we recognize that many Anonymous cells around the world have used

and still use DoS Attacks on target sites.

But we Anonymous Japan have never participated in or endorsed this tactic.

DoS Attacks are an authoritarian tactic that restrict the free flow of information.

We condemn this tactic in general.

We believe in constructive solutions to censorship and State abuse of power.

We are dedicated to continuing our work to translate and distribute privacy software,

which is why we are now announcing Phase 2 of our response to Site Blocking.

In further cooperation with the Localization Lab and translators around the world,

we have fully translated the Signal messaging app into Japanese for Android, iOS, and PC.

Signal is a messaging app similar to LINE. However, unlike LINE,

Signal uses full end-to-end encryption

to keep the content of your conversations private,

even your internet provider or Signal's developers themselves.

Encrypted web browsing alone is not enough to protect your privacy online.

Messaging apps are a large part of how people online communicate,

and this too must be encrypted to fully protect your privacy.

We urge all Japanese users to switch from LINE to Signal immediately if they value their privacy.

This is not the end of our campaign against Site Blocking and internet censorship in Japan.

We will have an announcement about Phase 3 in the near future.

In the meantime, we urge the Japanese government...

...please stop f***ing around.

We are Anonymous Japan

We are Legion

We do not Forgive

We do not Forget

Expect Us
