Now we turn to Michelle Park at the weather center for the latest updates.

Michelle, Korea is bracing for Typhoon Soulik.

Authorities are warning of heavy downpours and strong winds.

Yes, Daniel, the typhoon is gaining strength as it approaches the peninsula.

Soulik will continue moving northward and it isexpected to pass the western coast of

Jeju Island tomorrow,... before making landfall on mainland Korea on Thursday.

From there, the storm is likely to graze across the peninsula.

Authorities are on high alert.

Starting Wednesday, the storm will directly affect Jeju and the southern coast of Korea,

with the rest of the country expected to be affected by Thursday.

A massive amount of rain is expected in the mountainous regions of Jeju and the southern

coast starting Wednesday,... while the capital and most of the western regions will receive

up to 100 millimeters of precipitation.

Until then, high temperatures will continue to keep the mercury above the 30 degree mark,

...while Beijing and Tokyo will stay cooler.

Tropical nights are back, as Seoul's Wednesday morning temperature hits 25 degrees Celsius.

Daegu is at 25 and Busan 27.

The daytime high will reach 36 degrees in Seoul, while Jeju gets cooled by the storm.

I'll leave you with the weather conditions around the world.

S. Korea to vie for first ever E-sports medal at Asian Games - Duration: 2:29.

Athletes from dozens of countries are in Jakarta for the Asian Games, the region's biggest

sporting event.

This year, one of the demonstration sports at the Games is e-sports -- that is, computer

games -- something South Korea excels at.

On Tuesday, here in Seoul, a launching event was held for the South Korean team that'll

be heading to Jakarta later this week.

Lee Min Sun reports.

On Tuesday, South Korea's best video gamers, and gaming-related officials, promised to

do their best in Jakarta to win an e-sports gold medal.

South Korea is a leader in e-sports, and this year, the discipline has been chosen as a

demonstration sport at the Asian Games.

Because it's a demonstration, the medals won will not be counted in the medals tally, but

its a historic first.

The six games chosen for the debut matches are League of Legends, Pro Evolution Soccer

2018, Arena of Valor, StarCraft 2, Hearthstone and Clash Royale.

Gamers from 18 countries will compete for 18 medals starting this Sunday.

Six South Korean gamers will complete in League of Legends and and one other will compete

in StarCraft2.

"We are, of course, aiming for the gold medal.

Our League of Legends team is actually very competitive.

We've won all the recent international competitions, so I'm very hopeful."

E-sports is likely to become an official medal event at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou,

China.

However, there's been criticism because computers games are made by private companies and the

Olympic Charter traditionally doesn't consider mechanically-propelled or mental activities

to be sports.

"E-sports are expanding as one of the strongest cultural trends globally.

It's spreading irrespective of race or borders as a cultural and athletic phenomenon.

It's highly likely that e-sports will become official event at the next Olympics or Asian

Games."

The International Olympic Committee hosted an e-sports forum in July to explore just

that possibility.

E-sports is taking a historic step towards being seen as a real sports competition, and

South Korea is looking to take some of the first ever e-sports medals home.

S. Korea's trade deficit in intellectual property rights hit record low in H1 2018 - Duration: 0:29.

Seoul's trade deficit in intellectual property rights hit a record low in the first half

of the year.

600-million U.S. dollars to be exact, according to a BOK report.

The lowest since related figures were compiled in 2010.

Korea shipped off around 6-point-7 billion U.S. dollars and imported 7-point-3 billion

in intellectual property rights, such as copyrights, patents, and trademarks, during H1.

Fuelling this welcome trend is the growing global popularity of Korean online games..

Trump says a second summit with N. Korea is "most likely" - Duration: 1:27.

A second Pyongyang-Washington summit could be in the making.

President Donald Trump spoke up about the possibility, while insisting progress is being

made on denuclearization.

Park Hee-jun help us read between the lines.

U.S. President Donald Trump says a second face-to-face with North Korean leader Kim

Jong-un will "most likely" happen,... hinting at a possible follow-up to the historic first

one they held in June.

President Trump said he didn't want to comment further, but "most likely" is what he told

Reuters on Monday in an interview.

South Korea's presidential office said Tuesday that Trump's remarks could indicate progress

in North Korea-U.S. relations.

Spokesperson Kim Eui-kyeom told reporters that it reflects the two leaders' will to

achieve denuclearization and peace on the Korean peninsula,... and that he hopes there

will be positive results.

Many observers are skeptical that Pyongyang is taking concrete measures to dismantle its

nuclear program,... but Trump said "a lot of good things are happening" on the denuclearization

front.

He also said he believes the North Koreans have taken specific steps to denuclearize,

without elaborating,... but also complained that China is not helping as much as in the

past,... because of its trade dispute with the U.S.

Trump did not forget to tout his great chemistry with Kim as the reason that helped ease last

year's tensions between the two sides.

Trump said he and the North Korean leader like each other,... and that their good personal

relationship is what's holding the situation together.

Typhoon Soulik expected to hit Korean Peninsula - Duration: 2:12.

Soulik is approaching the nation.

The strong, mid-sized typhoon is expected to let its presence be felt in the peninsula

this week.

But there's also a chance it could pass by without causing any visible impact.

However, according to our Han Soo-ah, the government is taking all necessary precautions.

The 19th typhoon of the season is on course to hit the Korean Peninsula.

It will be the first typhoon in six years to directly pass across the peninsula.

The whole country is under the direct influence of the typhoon, and heavy rains, large waves,

and strong winds are expected.

According to the Korea Meteorological Administration, the typhoon, which formed near Guam in the

middle of last week, is approaching Jeju Island.

It will bring heavy rains and strong winds to Jeju Island tomorrow night, and will move

up toward Mokpo on Thursday morning.

The entire nation will be soaked by rain on Thursday and Friday.

From Wednesday to Thursday, Jeju Island is forecast to get more that 50 millimeters of

rain per hour.

Some other areas will receive more than 400 millimeters of rainfall in total.

As the wind speed is projected to be almost 89 miles per hour, Soulik may cause as much

damage as Typhoon Sanba which directly hit the country in 2012, leaving two dead and

two injured and flooding hundreds of homes and buildings.

Prime Minister Lee Nak-yon at a cabinet meeting this morning urged related authorities and

ministries to prepare for the damage, including human casualties.

The Prime Minister emphasized the safety of students who are going back to school after

vacation.

He was also concerned about farmers who have already suffered from the recent heatwave

and could see more damage from the typhoon.

However depending on the atmospheric conditions in the North Pacific, there is also a possibility

of the typhoon heading out into the West Sea and bypassing the Korean Peninsula.

The 3 Things that hold Business Owners Back - Duration: 3:25.

Hi!

I'm Sharon Jurd and welcome to my Biz Blitz video and today I want to talk to you about

three things that hold business owners back.

These are three important things that really stop you from moving forward, earning the

income, growing your business and having the lifestyle that you imagined when you first

started your business.

So here are the three things.

One, business owners don't have self-discipline.

You have to be self-disciplined.

You have to get up every day, you have to go to work, you have to make sure that you

are doing the actions that are required to grow your business.

You can't have a day off when you're a business owner initially.

If you aren't where you are right now, you have to go and make sure that you are doing

the actions every day and have the self-discipline around that.

Secondly, a lot of business owners are held back because they don't have systems to

follow.

Find a system to follow.

It may be in the franchising industry.

As you know I sit in the franchising industry, owning a franchise company myself.

The other thing is to find a coach.

A coach has a system to grow your businesses.

Find someone around you that has the system that you can follow and then follow it to

a tee.

It's a tried and tested system.

Get that system and make sure you follow it to a tee and you know that you'll get the

results from the system that they've used for many years.

Thirdly, the thing that holds a lot of business owners back is their mindset and their self-belief

because they believe that they are not worth enough, they haven't got a great product

sometimes, they can have imposter syndrome.

They have these voices in their head telling them that they're not good enough or blaming

other people, blaming the environment, the customers, the competition and so forth.

You've got to clear that up, clear your mindset, clear those limiting beliefs that

you have.

Get a coach that can help you do that and make sure that that person has the tools and

the techniques to get you through and push you through those beliefs and push you through

the limiting mindset dialogue that's in your head.

So there are my three points today.

One, get yourself some self-discipline.

Start today.

Make sure that you're doing those actions every day.

Secondly, follow a great system.

Find a system that suits you and follow it.

And thirdly, clear out your mindset, get rid of those limiting beliefs.

Get a coach around you that has the tools and the techniques to help you.

Make sure you're being coached.

I truly believe that every business owner needs a coach.

You can't be doing this by yourself, you need to have a coach around you to make sure

these three things happen.

I'm Sharon Jurd.

I hope this video has been helpful.

If you think it's of value to your family, friends and colleagues, please share my video.

I want to help as many people as I can and I'm hoping that you'll help me do that.

I'm Sharon Jurd and we'll talk soon.

Separated families from the two Koreas share memories of the past during their group reunion - Duration: 2:33.

Staying with the reunions.

Emotions were running high, but it was a little calmer than the first day.

A private setting not provided in previous gatherings was a deeply appreciated change

by the participants.

Cha Sang-mi turns the spotlight to the personal stories of the people gathered at Mount Kumgang.

The separated families got to have some real "family time" in private on Tuesday for about

three hours.

They were set up in private rooms, where they exchanged gifts they brought for each other

and had lunch together.

No media were allowed into the rooms,... making things a more peaceful and intimate.

And participants seemed to love it.

Take a listen.

"It felt a lot more comfortable because we could talk more candidly."

But some still expressed regrets.

"The time passed so quickly.

It was two hours or so, but it felt like half an hour."

Kim said the time felt especially short, as the sibling sat together crying, recalling

their mother who had passed away, suffering from the guilt of leaving her two baby daughters

in the North.

As for the gifts the families gave each other, from the South they brought a lot of daily

necessities, ranging from vitamins to winter parkas.

But it wasn't just the South Koreans who showed such concern.

The North Koreans also brought a lot of nutritional items like ginseng.

And of course, for this festive event, there was alcohol.

Some brought rare liquors from Pyongyang and Mount Paekdu.

And some brought colorful tablecloths, so they could remember the reunion at every meal.

"Do you think you'll use this tablecloth?"

"Of course I will.

It's a gift.

I'll definitely use it.

And during their group reunion in the evening, it seemed like they didn't want to waste a

single second they had together.

During today's meetings, they seemed a lot more at ease and more smiles were seen; jokes

and stories were told.

Some sweet moments were spotted by the press pool.

"Look at her, isn't she pretty?

This is my younger sister."

To Kim, she's still like a baby sister even though she's over 80 years old now.

"We haven't talked for the last 73 years.

The more we talk, the more we remember of the past."

They talked for a while today, but they said they don't mind repeating the same stories

again and again.

Cha Sang-mi, Arirang News.
