(Episode 60)

Eunjo.

What are you talking about?

Why was Aunt Eunjeong arrested?

She overturned a table at a restaurant.

Property damage and business obstruction...

Overturned a table? Why?

Dr. Jeong and his family were dining there.

Seeing that, she lost her temper.

It's a high-end Korean restaurant,

so she broke a lot of

expensive things, like designer dishware.

Dr. Jeong's family?

His ex-wife and 2 daughters.

So what's the situation now?

The restaurant owner will put her on summary trial

if she doesn't pay.

She might even go to jail.

What's wrong with everyone? Geez.

She should've held back no matter how mad.

I know how to overturn tables too.

Could you have held back in that situation?

I can relate to Aunt Eunjeong.

So how much is it to settle?

$20,000.

What?

Everything's high-end at that restaurant.

$20,000?

Good grief.

Get changed before all else.

Geez, it stinks.

Shouldn't we make a claim for damages too?

This outfit cost a fortune.

No matter how upsetting, why overturn the table?

It seems the aunt was arrested.

Of course.

Does she expect to get off

after ransacking a restaurant?

And that's between her and the restaurant.

It's got nothing to do with us.

It was a long overdue treat,

so I'm sorry it turned out like this.

You make a mess of everything.

Did I overturn the table?

You shouldn't have let that aunt tail you!

Mom's probably just upset.

What's happened to that aunt?

She needs to settle with the restaurant,

but it won't be easy.

She caused such sizeable damage

that they're probably asking for a lot.

Settle?

What happens if she can't settle?

She'll have to serve time.

People like her need to be punished.

How can anyone act up like that for being upset?

What's wrong with that entire family?

It was just the aunt.

Why drag their entire family into it?

You're still...

Dad, don't give her the money

to settle even if she demands it.

Of course not.

Why would I pay her settlement?

Technically, we should be compensated too.

What did I say?

That this wouldn't do me any good.

Good grief. I must have lost it.

Why did I get all excited?

I never should've agreed to go.

Geez, it stinks.

I can't even return this expensive thing.

How upsetting. Geez.

What did Myeongjo's aunt do that

there's talk of settlement?

Yes, yes, yes. Okay.

I'll do that. Okay.

Who was it?

Inu's dad.

What did he say?

That Myeongjo's aunt is in trouble?

How did you know?

I was just at the salon.

Aunt Eunjeong must have overturned

the table where Inu's family was dining.

Overturn the table?

She really is in big trouble.

So?

The restaurant sued her for property damage

and business obstruction,

and she's in custody as she doesn't have the money.

But why did Inu's dad call you?

You're his go-to person?

Then shouldn't he have

invited you to tonight's dinner?

I said no, preferring

a dinner some other time with you as well.

Oh, is that what happened?

I wonder how much it'll take to settle.

But of course the Aunt flipped out

seeing him dine with his former family

at a fancy place,

all wearing designer clothes

paid for by Ms. Kim's money.

I heard it was around $20,000.

$20,000?

She probably has nowhere to get that kind of money.

How is that your concern?

I see Jeongsuk in a new light now.

They say no one can resist money.

I thought she was a decent, ethical woman,

but she's revealed her true nature.

I didn't know humans could be so greedy.

Sir.

Sir, please.

This won't make a difference.

Please settle.

I promise to pay you back.

Bring me the money first.

Wait... I'll sign a promissory note.

I'll work here if I can't find the money,

so please settle.

No, I don't want to.

Sir.

One should be apologetic after causing a scene

at someone else's business.

But do you know how your aunt was

after overturning the table?

She was brazen and shameless.

She had her reasons.

I don't know what her reason is,

but I'm being fair,

so bring the money if you want me to settle.

Sir. Sir.

What's taking Eunjo so long?

She's trying to find settlement money.

I'm doing this for you guys,

not for me.

I know.

Then you guys should settle and get me out.

Doesn't Eunjo have any savings?

All she's done is squander money.

Aunt Eunjeong, I'll ask around too,

so hang in there.

I don't want to be here even for a moment.

Myeongjo, please get me out quickly.

We're trying,

but the restaurant's asking for so much.

They say get help from those that can help.

You can borrow money where there is money.

Where...

Don't tell me...

Don't tell you what?

So guys haven't asked Dr. Jeong yet?

Is your pride more important

than my suffering here?

This is why

you should've held back.

Why did you overturn the table?

Hey, if I hadn't done that,

they would've all moved into our house.

We must instill fear by letting them know

there's someone like me.

Dr. Jeong,

please lend us money for Aunt Eunjeong to settle.

I'll pay you back.

Wow. How shameless.

Why should I?

Technically, I'm a victim too.

I could sue your aunt too.

It's not a small amount,

but we can't leave Aunt Eunjeong high and dry.

That's your problem.

Ms. Kim wouldn't have forsaken Aunt Eunjeong.

Is she my aunt?

She's not my concern.

Dr. Jeong.

How could she ruin such an important occasion?

And yet I'm to cough up the money?

You were no better either.

What?

You should be begging and pleading,

not provoking me.

What did I do wrong?

I can't even buy my family lunch?

Your family?

Yes, my family.

No matter what, Inu and Injeong are my kids.

I can't even buy a meal for them

and their mother who raised them?

What did I do wrong

that your aunt would come overturn the table?

She doesn't deserve my pity.

How could she act so lowbrow?

How will I go back to that restaurant?

I have countless people to entertain.

Then let me apologize to you on her behalf.

Really? If I give you the money,

what will you do for me?

Pardon?

I'll give you the money,

but in return, you walk away from the Center.

And pack up and leave this house.

Then I'll get your aunt released.

If you disappear from my sight,

I'd be happy to give you $20,000.

Otherwise,

put your aunt behind bars

as you're unrelated anyway.

Why are you here? There's no point.

I apologize on behalf of my aunt.

I'm sorry.

I'm over it, so get going.

You're making me feel bad.

Um...

Can't you put in a good word with Dr. Jeong?

Don't do this to me like I hold any influence.

I'm just a victim whose lunch was ruined.

I'm sorry.

Good grief.

You don't have to be sorry, Myeongjo,

but what your aunt did was offensive.

And I've no money to lend you.

So don't waste your energy here.

Get going. Go.

Goodbye.

Geez.

I feel bad for him.

How did Gil Myeongjo, Kim Haengja's pride and joy,

end up in such a sorry state?

If Geunseop sets his mind to it,

he could come up with that money in no time.

Don't make it sound easy as it doesn't concern you.

What did I do that you're snapping at me?

It was our lunch that got ruined,

and it wasn't us but the restaurant

that sued his aunt,

so why did he have to come here?

That lunch was the problem...

Look at you, Dong.

You're making me out to be the bad guy.

No, I'm not.

I accepted the clothes and agreed to have lunch

as compensation for the suffering and hardship

I endured to raise our girls.

What did I say?

It was written all over your face.

Like I committed a heinous crime.

That's not right.

She's lashing out due to guilt.

What did I do to get chewed out?

Give me a break.

Recipient isn't answering.

What in the world is Eunjo doing?

How long will she keep me here?

What's going on?

Why are you here?

Did you bring me the settlement money?

Settlement money?

Dream on.

Why would I pay for you to settle?

Then did you come to see my sorry state?

Fine. This is my sorry state.

Do you think I have nothing better to do?

Why are you here then?

Your nephew and niece filed a complaint against me.

Happy now?

A complaint?

Yet you guys want me to pay?

Talk about having no shame.

Mr. Jeong Geunseop, this way.

Coming.

What are you looking at?

Hello, sir.

Filed a complaint?

But filing a complaint won't change anything,

so why provoke him?

Despite everything,

he's the only one we can turn to for money.

Look at the show he's putting on.

He's using the sympathy card to get off?

Hey, what are you doing?

"Seeing my wife on the brink of death,

I was so stressed that I went on a shopping spree..."

Do you want me to sue you as well?

Haengja put you under so much stress

that you did what?

You're lying through your teeth.

Do you want to stay here permanently?

Have some shame.

You put Haengja in a coma

then dress your ex-wife and kids in designer clothes

and took them to a restaurant where

a meal costs hundreds of dollars

only to be caught by me, but what?

Fine. Let this be your last day and mine.

Come here! Come here!

Come here!

Let go!

- Stop right there! / - Officer,

please stop this woman!

Come here! Come here!

Ma'am,

- what are you doing? / - I'm going to get you!

Get me?

Do you think I'll let you?

I caught you, you slippery eel.

Eel...

How dare you call me an eel?

Move!

What are you doing?

Pardon?

So?

What do you mean "so?"

Don't ask me to get your aunt out.

It'll never happen.

Hello? Dr. Jeong. Dr...

What is it?

Dr. Jeong and Aunt Eunjeong met at the station.

I don't know how I have my wits about me these days.

Was he there because of your complaint?

I think so.

Such bad timing...

Should we do this some other time?

No...

I might get fired if I don't do this.

I can't let that happen.

Go ahead.

As bad as it is, you should still smile.

We need the pictures to look nice.

Okay.

Why isn't the makeup artist here?

I get like this these days.

I'm fine. Never mind.

We should do this some other time.

No.

It was hard getting this makeup artist.

I can't ruin this due to personal reasons.

I have to do this.

What?

You're always so strong.

I learn a lot from you.

Is this what you'll be selling tomorrow?

Where will you sell these?

I'm thinking about it.

Geez, it's so expensive.

Will they sell on the streets?

You need to sell a lot, right?

I doubt I'm expected to actually sell.

I must go through the motions for points.

But won't you get more points

if you sell a lot?

Should I try selling them to our salon clients?

Would you?

I don't think that's right.

It's a competition.

They won't sell here anyway.

I'll figure something out.

Inu's changed a lot.

Right?

She's become self-assured and confident.

Yes, exactly.

Ms. Gil's expressions are a bit...

You said you were going to work.

Were you out having fun instead?

No.

This is for tomorrow's sales calls.

Sales calls?

The Center makes sales calls?

It's a test for the interns.

Selling cosmetics and advertising the Center.

I see.

Didn't Seokpyo develop that line when he was CEO?

That's right.

How interesting

that you'll be selling the line you created.

More importantly, I noticed the warehouse

was more overstocked than I thought.

Why don't we buy the products cheap and sell them?

It's not a bad idea.

But how will we sell them?

You can take to the streets and sing.

I can dance and President Hong can...

Just so you know, I won't do anything.

Oh, come on. That's not fair.

That's right. That's not fair.

You're the one who's strapped for cash.

Will you sing? Dance?

Stop your nonsense.

How is it nonsense? Sing? Dance? Sing?

- Which will it be? / - Stop it.

- No way. / - Dance, sing? Dance, dance, sing?

I didn't know there was such a side to my nephew.

People need close, intimate interactions.

I wonder if Jonghui will change if she lives here.

- No. Are you kidding me? No way. / - No.

This is my house. My house.

No way.

Myeongjo, go sleep at home.

I'll stay here.

Okay.

Did Aunt Eunjeong call?

She'd been calling every hour,

but she must have fallen asleep too.

Should I talk to a college friend?

He's rich.

Don't.

It's not easy asking for money.

But we can't just leave her there.

I would've saved up if I'd known.

All I did was buy designer goods...

Yes, that's it.

Myeongjo, I think we'll have the money.

How?

Leave that to me,

and tell Aunt Eunjeong to hang in there.

Are you sure you're okay here?

I'll do this,

so wait over there if you're uncomfortable.

Okay.

The products here made this transformation possible.

This is makeup for graduation season.

Genius Beauty Center

offers makeup for all occasions,

so please drop by.

This isn't what I expected.

What if we don't sell a single box?

Hang on.

Yes, President Hong.

Mr. Lee...

Sir.

Where are you?

You're on the night shift today, right?

Have you decided where we'll sell these?

Oh...

They won't sell anyway,

so let's go have a nice lunch.

I only have 2 hours,

which I had a hard time getting off.

What did I say?

We can't help it if they don't sell.

What if the other team does well?

Selling 1 or 2 sets isn't talent.

And the game's over.

This Center is mine.

What is it?

Don't let your guard down.

The appointment is up to Director Gu Jonghui.

She's gone once she returns to HQ.

That's not true.

Clear the air with Director Gu

to make the takeover easier.

Okay.

Let's go.

Where to?

The other team went to a college district.

Let's go there.

Thank you.

This look uses peach-hued shadows.

Go ahead and try this.

We're looking for new members.

Thank you.

Take a look at this too.

It's a pretty color. Try it.

We're from Genius Beauty Center.

We're looking for new members.

We ask you for your interest.

Come before your graduation pictures.

We'll take good care of you.

We're looking for new members.

Thank you.

We're from Genius Beauty Center.

Thank you.

Look in the mirror.

We're from Genius Beauty Center.

Please drop by. Thank you.

We're looking for new members. Take a look.

Thank you.

Hi, Myeongjo.

What? The prosecutor?

Okay.

I told you I'd take care of it.

Don't worry and just

stay by Ms. Kim's side.

Prosecutor?

Aunt Eunjeong.

She'll be indicted if we don't settle by today.

Min Yang, you got everything I asked, right?

Okay. I'll be there in half an hour. Okay.

Mr. Hong, I have to go to the pawnshop,

so would you pack up?

Don't worry about things here.

Thank you.

It pains me that she seems to have become

a child head of household.

Right, President Hong?

You should've said it was a luxury line.

You expected to sell lotions that cost

over $300 in a college district?

I thought the other team had the same line.

Theirs is a low to mid-range line.

Inu.

Yes?

Do you really want the Center?

Of course.

Greed alone won't get you everything.

Plus, you're up against...

Who am I up against?

Gil Eunjo and Hong Seok?

What about them?

Listen carefully.

You must tell me everything that happens

at the Center, especially if it involves Hong Seok.

Who cares about a lowly part-timer?

Nevertheless...

I'll help you from now on.

Okay.

I would love your help.

I'll do whatever you tell me to from now on.

Why are you looking at her like that?

Since this is going to be long-term,

maybe we should move her.

Move her where?

Won't a 4-person room be suitable?

A 6-person room is a bit crowded.

Isn't a 4-person room crowded too?

She's attached to a lot of machines.

The thing about people, Miss Giggles,

is that they end up adjusting.

What are you doing? Easy does it.

Don't mind me. It's just how I do this.

Miss Giggles,

turns out you have quite a temper.

I should stop by the pawnshop.

Wow, wow. I've never met someone like him before.

You too, right, Ms. Kim?

Ms. Kim.

You contacted all the shops you know, right?

Yes.

Eunjo, are you really selling all these?

Yes.

It's a good thing I stored them here.

You love all of these.

You can't get them again as they're limited-edition.

That's why I'm selling them.

What good would keeping them do?

Call another shop instead of moping.

Tell them we have lots of good stuff.

Okay.

I'm late.

Welcome.

Here.

They're all top-of-the-line.

They're also rare as they're limited-edition.

Where did you get all these?

They're all mine.

I've been collecting them for years,

but I'm in sudden need of cash.

They're not fake, so look around.

Okay. Let's see.

This is the latest season's.

Hello.

All the shoes are from abroad.

They're all limited-edition.

They've only been worn once or twice.

Take a look at this one.

Eunjo, here's the money.

Thank you.

Didn't you sell them too cheap though?

It's short of $20,000.

We should be satisfied with this.

I'll make up the difference with something else.

What's this?

Who said you could do business here?

You need the owner's permission for that.

Who's the owner?

You're still clueless, aren't you?

I am. Who else?

The goods are mine.

Then you must pay for using my shop.

Oh. Is this it?

What are you doing?

Now, now.

There's something called business ethics.

You owe me commission.

Here.

I'm only being nice just this once.

Don't do business in my shop again.

Got it?

Eunjo.

There's no time to cry.

I must go and get Aunt Eunjeong released.

I'm off.

I'll settle given how hard you've tried.

But you must work to make up the difference.

Ms. Kim.

This is so hard.

It's finally hit me how cruel the world is

and how nothing in life comes for free.

Ms. Kim, I'm sorry.

I must've made you so upset.

Ms. Kim, thank you

for not forsaking me

and always embracing and protecting me.

I miss your love so much.

I miss you, Ms. Kim.

Ms. Kim...

Ms. Kim. Ms. Kim.

Ms. Kim.

Ms. Kim, please don't go.

Ms. Kim.

Ms. Kim.

Ms. Kim, I miss you.

Don't go. Look to me instead.

If you really want to go,

take me with you.

It's been so hard.

Ms. Kim.

Ms. Kim.

Won't there be trouble

if Ms. Kim has woken up?

If Ms. Kim remembers everything,

what then?

I can't forgive you.

We must keep them away from Ms. Kim.

I'll look for a suitable hospice.

Haengja, let's move you elsewhere,

where it's more comfortable.

Can't we do things like this together?

Why do you try to do everything alone?

Do you have such little faith in me?

It's about Mr. Hong Seok.

Does he have connections to the Center?

Does Gil Eunjo know who Hong Seok is?

Tony Robbins: THE GREATEST ADVICE EVER TOLD (Motivational Video 2018) - Duration: 24:13.

it's no surprise that so many people

today have a great deal of uncertainty

about where life the world the economy

is going we're going through massive

changes and some of them are

unprecedented we haven't seen for 40 50

60 70 80 years and yet at the same time

we inherently know that with all this

change there's opportunity that there's

a chance for our lives to be better than

they've ever been that transformations

are happening in science and technology

can truly change the quality of our

lives the length of our lives the way we

experience life and yet day to day most

people live I think with a great deal of

foreboding a great deal of uncertainty

and so I thought it might be nice to

just drop in for a couple of minutes and

give you a couple of triggers to remind

you what I know you know in your heart

and that is we are not made to survive

we're made to thrive human beings our

spirit our capacity to adapt our ability

to grow I'll be able to learn with

lightning like speed our ability to find

a way to serve others that calling

inside of us that we have as a parent or

as a friend or someone who truly cares

when we put our fear aside because

there's something we want to serve

greater than ourselves we all have that

ability to find that passion in our life

and as we now are in 2014 a lot of

people start out with a new year and it

becomes a trigger for you know a

possibility of a new life but that

disappears after a few disappointments

after coming up with a few New Year's

resolutions that within a week or two

they've already broken I'm gonna talk to

you about just the simple core of

letting you and I are made for we are

not made to survive we're not made to

manage our pain or get through it we're

made to be creators of our lives we can

create anything anything we can dream

about we can create and I know that

sounds like positive thinking you know

just BS but in your soul there's been

times in your life I know when you've

had something that you wanted so much

maybe you wanted something for someone

you care about maybe you want something

for yourself but you became so obsessed

with something achieving it experiencing

what it was a transformation you know in

yourself a change in your business you

know making a certain amount of money

getting a job you know increase of some

physician increase maybe it was doing

something for your mom and your dad or

your kids somewhere in your life you

gotten obsessed enough to really want to

create something

you don't even know how you were gonna

do it but you just wanted it desired it

that you started all of a sudden taking

action and you got insights and before

you knew it what used to be just this

impossible dream became a reality does

it fair to say that some stage in your

life that there are some things today in

your life there was just a dream or goal

that once seemed difficult or impossible

would it be the job you have or the

relationship you're in and might be

taking for granted is it is there

anything in your life today that was

once like that well then you and I are

creators and very often when we get

overwhelmed by so many things we feel

out of control by we start getting into

being managers of our life managing our

pain managing through the situations so

my purpose here is to say what does it

take to thrive once again so let me give

you five quick keys number one key to

thriving is you've got it allow yourself

to be able to take advantage of

uncertainty yes the world is uncertain

right now uncertainty has changed

changes life we both know that we all

know that but if you and I are gonna

become masters we have to understand

that we have to work on change change is

automatic progress is not if you're not

going to make progress here in 2014

whatever stage of the year you're

looking at this progress comes when you

tell yourself the truth and you're able

to feel the uncertainty and take action

anyway the thing that stops us all is

fear it's no surprise if you're a

failure for your rejection fear the

unknown if you're not looking good and

that fear we could translate into the

simple thing of uncertainty now when you

look at someone who's incredibly

successful you look at someone who's

truly a leader in their life or in their

field but one thing they have in common

is they exude this sense of certainty

towards I come from is it inborn are

they lucky I think just going their way

now great leaders know how to step in

the uncertainty and bring the certainty

to the situation most people life we

really feel like the level of stress in

our life comes to how much of life do

you feel like you control how much does

life control you do you tend to control

more of what's going on or events

controlling it it's very easy that those

events start to take control unless we

take control what's between our ears our

own mind you see what you and I focus on

massively affects how we feel whether

we're thriving or surviving if you focus

on what you can't control if you focus

on the past if you focus on what's

missing from your life constantly that

pattern of focus will make you

frustrated overwhelmed and depressed it

won't even matter if you're you know

taking antidepressants if you keep

focusing on what you can't control

what's missing from your life you're

gonna feel depressed though you think as

many antidepressants as you want

focus equals power if you want to thrive

you got to focus on what you can control

you got to focus on the difference you

can make you're gonna focus on what's

already in your life that you're

grateful for and I have a little process

here at the end that's my gift to you

which is just a simple ritual that can

bring you back to this place so one

thing that leaders do is they focus on

the things they want they focus on what

they can control they focus on what they

have they have a combination of

gratitude strength and commitment they

really unleash the second element they

have a vision they have something that

they're after something they want to

create something they want to contribute

something they want to give something

you want to make happen and that's when

you become a creator again instead of a

manager of life and it's easy to lose

that sense of vision in your life

through disappointments hey we've all

had them you get all excited about

something and then you know life seems

to crush it

somebody betrays you you betray yourself

you don't follow through and then you

don't trust yourself at the same level

what makes somebody a leader is they

build this certainty and not only with

focus and now we do they get a vision

for what they want but they bring that

certainty in their body listen if you've

ever been to one of my live events you

know that one of the greatest things

about let's say unleash the power within

is you go through a weekend where you

literally train your nervous system

certainly I mean how the heck do you get

people to storm through fire it's not

about fire walking it's about getting

yourself to be able to take action and

the areas of your life that normally you

would more than hold back or your brain

would take over to say I can't do this

are you crazy somebody else did it but

not me what we do is get people in a

state where you're gonna follow through

we're gonna face your fear and do it

anyway and the way we do that besides

changing people's focus showing you how

to direct and control that focus is also

by learning how to use

body is the tool to changer stay listen

if I drop my shoulders enough I would

have breathe shallow enough and I would

have slow down and say you know I don't

know I'll give it a try

and go into this state I'd be like

Samson get us hair cut off right because

what we don't realize is that our mind

is directly affected by the way we use

our body if you change the tempo what

you move or you change the way you

breathe then you change the way you use

your voice you literally change your

biochemistry and the one thing that

you'll see that's the same with a

greatest golfer in the world or the

greatest musician or the greatest you

know actor is they have this sense of

certainty and it isn't born it's

something that you make as a habit you

drill it into yourself I sure as heck

didn't have that sense of certainty

growing up not even close and what I

found myself doing early on is I felt so

uncertain I couldn't get myself to do

anything so I did all these rituals

these rituals of certainty I would go on

these runs and on the run even though I

didn't feel like it I would do these

incantations where I would say out loud

over and over again you know gods won't

this circulate in my life his wealth

flows to me an avalanche ISM abundance

all my needs desires and goals are met

instantaneously by infinite intelligence

from one with God and God is everything

and I would say that over and over and

over for 30 minutes just crazy and I

would envision that God circling is well

circulating my life and I see the wealth

of love and friendship and impact and

growth and economics and all these

things physical fitness and aliveness

I've seen this wealth of abundance

flowing oceans of it into my life as I

went and did these things if you

envision something clearly enough and

you bring certainty to it over and over

again if you engage your physical body

in a simple ritual it could be as little

as 10 minutes a day

I call it my hour of power or 15 minutes

to be fulfilled and all you do is you

take five minutes and in those first

five minutes you get yourself moving and

you get yourself in a state of certainty

and the way you move and the way you

breathe you focus on what you're excited

about in your life you focus on what you

want to create what you want to bring to

your children what you want to bring to

the world and it it changes your state

we all know what happens when your

out of state when you burnt out when

you're frustrated when you're

overwhelmed you snap at people sometimes

feel bad about it you didn't mean to

it's just a state you're in

so to thrive this year take uncertainty

and bring certainty to it to thrive this

year get what I call a compelling future

pick anything a goal a dreamer desire

something to excite you so much that

you're gonna feel yourself compelled to

actually find a way to make it happen

you've done it before you've gotten

obsessed you not even know how you did

it but things happen and you've got

yourself to where you want to be let's

make that happen this year right now

regardless if it's later in the year at

the beginning you're watching this I

made this so that hopefully I'd remind

you of what you know that your main to

thrive not survive what's the third

element that makes somebody an effective

leader makes them a thriver even when

the environment is crazy well they bring

certainty and uncertainty that's

leadership skill buy focus and

physiology by the way they move by the

way to breathe by what they do they

bring that certain because there's

something they want so bad that it makes

them overcome the fear they focus on

what they want to create what they want

to give not oh my god what if I fail but

the third thing they do is they're

decisive listen nothing changes your

life like decision I mean real decision

though not what people oh well you know

I'll try or I kind of decided I want to

give it a shot the word decision comes

some incision in Latin to cut off from

and when you make a decision you cut off

from any possibility except the thing

you've committed to I always tell people

if you want to take the island burn the

boats I mean if you make a real decision

every bit of you is committed to

something

it's amazing how life will move for the

force of nature of the human being man

or woman that says this is how it will

be I don't know how I'm gonna get it

done but I know this is what I'm gonna

do I know why I'm gonna do it was a

Martin Luther King you said it's a man

any man hasn't figured out what he's

willing to die for isn't fit to live if

you can find something you're so excited

about if you can find something that

will drive you with that certainty and

you add to that decisiveness you can

change anything you don't like your job

change it your all but there's no jobs

out there

pull

right change it start the job change who

you are in the job where you are and

enjoy yourself change your perception

change your appreciation change your

gratitude change your daily ritual see

start to enjoy things change what you

notice change them trying to get

something to try to give something the

whole game will change decisiveness is

the ability to make a decision even

though you're uncertain once again what

keeps people make a decision fear of

failure I remember I had a chance to get

to know general Norman Schwarzkopf

during the time in which he was

commanding our forces an amazing man and

he would step over there Desert Storm as

they called it in those days and he

could command a guy that was just

brilliant you know an officer who came

out of you know Harvard or background of

Princeton and he could take a kid from

the inner city and just have that same

command in connection with them and I

think part of what they respected about

him is he respected every one himself he

had this connection with people but the

other thing everybody respected was the

man was decisive and I asked him where

he developed that decision-making

capability just the willingness to just

make a decision in trust he said Tony

I'll tell you where I worked for this

general when I was very young and I was

his assistant and he said I remember

there was a research project that the

you know the Pentagon had worked on for

that time he said I remember right like

five years and there are arguments it

was a very strategic decision for where

the Defense Department was gonna move

towards in the future how they were

gonna operate and he said there were

arguments for both sides and for five

years they'd gone back and forth and

nothing was resolved and they came to

the general that he was serving at that

time as the assistant and they had a

meeting and the meeting lasted one hour

and at the end of the hour they didn't

generly stood up and said do that and he

picked one of the two and he did it with

absolute certainty and in the military

usulutan you take your orders and you go

he said but swore Scott said he was just

curious really curious to know you know

how can I get up and make a decision

like that because swear Scott said I was

the one doing all the research and there

was just there was loads and loads of

research and I know he hadn't read at

all

they said it bothered me that he'd just

make a decision like that without

knowing everything he could possibly

know

and so he said swords got said I finally

went to him and said sir permission to

express myself freely

he said permission granted he said sir

how could you make that decision he said

there are leaves and leaves and reams of

information you got a one-hour meeting

you heard what 20 minutes of discussion

for both sides and you decided the

entire direction where things are gonna

go for their armed services with it this

part of the armed services and he said

how could you possibly do that you don't

have all the information he said no one

does in fact information is important to

an extent but ultimately action is what

needs to be taken

someone needs to decide he was about how

do you know you made the right decision

he said no one has made a decision young

man in five years a half a decade what I

decided will be right because either

will put all the resources and will make

it right oh if it's wrong we'll discover

that quicker than sitting on the fence

for another five years and we'll find

out it's not right it will change

leadership is making decisions if you're

going to lead your own life you got to

make decisions and what's worse cos

sends you realize rule number one in

life is when put in charge I'm put in

command take charge make the decision if

it's right or wrong you're gonna find

out quicker than if you sit around and

the interesting thing is the more you

make decisions the better you get what

makes somebody a leader what makes

somebody a leader is they're willing to

make the decision other people won't

make they want to put themself on the

line knowing that you're gonna be wrong

in some of those decisions but you're

gonna find out quicker and you can

simply adapt and change your approach to

still get where you want to go be

decisive don't like your body change it

don't like your relationship change it

start by changing you if you've changed

you it's still not right then change it

but the way you make any change happen

starts with a decision all action all

results our mother door fathered if you

would by a decision

what's one small decision you could make

right now they would take you in a

direction you know you need to go what's

a big decision that might be really

tough but have you really made it

truthfully it would take you on a new

direction of your life because whatever

direction you head into will lead to an

ultimate destination or destiny when you

know what's right it's time when you're

still fearful it's still time you want

to change your life decide decide

something you're gonna do decide

something radical to commit and act

you forward instead of thinking more

because we all can get caught up you

know I tell people you get in your head

you're dead the brain is a great thing

to strategize with but there's a point

what you're got to get back in your

heart and you got to put yourself on the

line and do something so if you're gonna

thrive this year bring certainty to your

decision-making by just putting yourself

in that state and trusting trust your

Creator not just a manager of life what

do you have to do get a vision for what

you want what else decide and step for

real quick act there is no such thing as

a decision without action a real

decision you cut up things off and you

make it happen you do something and I've

always thought in my life never leave

the sight of making a decision to

something that's important without doing

something in that moment that commit you

to follow through takes an action in

that moment because otherwise here's

what happened you get excited or

something makes sense to you you're

passionate about it and you go I'm gonna

go do this and then you go home and you

get caught up in emails and phone calls

and other people need things from you

the next thing you know you're out of

state you don't follow through has it

happened to you before

and I promise you if it hasn't it will

in the future people that succeed when

opportunity is there they trust they

trust if I'm going to thrive this is

here and my wife for a purpose life

isn't happening to me life is happening

for me even this pain or challenge or

this opportunity is something you're

gonna find a way to make yourself I need

to make a decision and I need to do

something right now to move things

forward in the direction of what I

really want for my life even if I don't

know the final destination I need to

move in that direction how do you take

some form of action most people they

have all these visions maybe they start

to make a little sort of decision but

they don't make a real decision because

they don't act on it and if you don't

act on it your ideas your dreams will

die in your mind they'll die in your

lips and think about most people in

North America around the world the

Western world are they truly fit strong

and healthy do they truly have a

relationship that's totally passionate

do they love their work

are they economically free the vast

majority you and I both know the answer

is no if you want to be like most people

then what you gotta do is figure out a

survive if you want to lead you got to

thrive and you have that capability and

you're probably already doing it I'm

probably speaking to the choir to some

extent if you're still

watching this right now you've turned me

off as a raging maniac who's on a rant

because that's where I am I'm gonna rant

right now a rant to call to your soul to

say no man our great life is take it to

next level

find the way to thrive on the very

things that stop other people in the

tracks thrive on what produces fear

inside you and in other people thrive on

something that you envision that you

have a higher purpose for thrive by

being decisive thrive by taking massive

action and if the massive action doesn't

work what you try doesn't work just

simply try something else if that

doesn't work try something else that

doesn't work try something else until

you find what works

now you can speed that up try modeling

by finding somebody who's already

getting the results that you want to get

in your life somebody already has lost

30 pounds and kept it off

they aren't lucky it's been five years

somebody who started with nothing and

now they're financially free and their

family has an extraordinary quality why

not figure out what they do somebody who

truly is happy not because everything's

going their way because they find a

deeper meaning and a richness in

everything around themselves whether it

be their children or nature or even

problems because obviously if we have no

problems if you're dead inside problems

can either destroy you

or call you to become more if you look

at the biggest challenges in your life

if you brought certainty to it if you've

got a vision beyond the problem if you

made some decision of what you're gonna

change even if you know how and if you

took immediate action with enough

intensity massive action you probably

found the cure-all you probably found a

way to adapt and get where you want to

be that's what thriving is really all

about

but the ultimate thriving is not just

breaking through and making things

happen the open thriving for this year

or any year of your life is to remember

the secret to living is giving it's too

as corny as that sounds it's to connect

to something bigger than yourself and it

can be done so easily it can be done

right there at home instead of running

past your kids looking at your phone

it's stopping connecting it's getting

kissing your spouse in a way where those

sparks happen like when you're first met

instead of how you doing I'm moving on

most of us are moving so fast trying to

manage our lives that we're not thriving

thriving comes with depth you're not

gonna find thriving in a friendship that

happens in milliseconds online nothing

wrong with it's great connection but a

depth of a real friendship is not your

Facebook friend it's not the same as

being with somebody and actually having

your full attention not while you're

monitoring what's going on on your cell

phone just the experience of being with

somebody but contributing your care and

contributing your interest contributing

you know in a simple way finding some

way to give love attention care joy or

happiness to any human being it doesn't

have to be working in a soup kitchen but

I could be pretty wonderful too

volunteering an hour in a month an hour

and a week can change a person's life

but it can be outside world can also be

really on the inside world if you want

to thrive then you got to remember

life's not about me it's about we you

already know it it's in your soul you

know that doesn't matter what words I

say if I'm saying something that's BS

you can feel and if I'm saying

something's true you can feel in your

heart and soul and the thing that's true

is we're here for more than just

ourselves and we feel most alive when

we're doing something that's beyond

ourselves when there's something well we

think that by this interaction someone's

gonna feel more loved somebody's gonna

feel more lifted someone who is down is

gonna get up someone's gonna know that

they're cared for or I'm gonna help

somebody physically through the skills

ability talent whatever helping a

stranger or helping someone you love

help comes from the place where your

abundant your not scarce so the most

important time the help is when you

think you need it so next time you're

really feeling down and out if you find

somebody else who's much worse off

because there's always somebody there if

you look around and see what you can do

to help them and watch what that does to

change your entire spirit psychology and

state you'll find yourself thriving when

you step into a life of meaning beyond

you

and ironically life's about you too and

when within that thriving state of

growing and giving in that state of

certainty and that state of a vision of

what you want with a sense of purpose in

that state of decisiveness and that

state of action in that state of giving

oh how can you break a loose and you're

still gonna thrive oh how can we break a

loose and you're having a great time so

next time you're feeling uncertain

remind yourself you're a creator of life

not a manager of circumstances and I

hope this little trigger will remind you

that also what'll help you have this is

not just this video that you watched

here which maybe watch it it'll be

helpful

maybe not it's up to you but if you get

the heart of what I'm really sharing it

leads to the end understanding that we

are really our lives are reflection of

our rituals you know if somebody tells

me this is their dream this is their

goal I said that's a wonderful tell me

your plan but more importantly let me

see your rituals and we all have rituals

well they know they're not rituals equal

results if you're overweight it's

because your rituals just find out what

they are and change them your rituals

are to get up every morning and go to

Starbucks and have a mocha smoke or

whatever the hell it is you have you

know and bunch of carbs and who everyone

knows what it's not hard to figure out

your blood Sugar's gonna be dropping and

you're looking for how to coffee a few

hours later that does a great life of

energy that's on fire that creates a

place where you're riding the roller

coaster of how much energy you have for

now there's an unlimited level of energy

with a different ritual when you start

out your day doing what I call really my

hour power of my 15 minutes to be

fulfilled so the three or four days a

week five days a week it took five or

ten or fifteen minutes one every now and

then you'll get so much momentum you'll

give yourself an hour an hour for

yourself an hour to connect to what

matters most an hour to be grateful an

hour to get strong working out at least

15 minutes I'm gonna tell you they'll

frame your life in a different level and

you'll find yourself thriving so take a

look at rituals you have that don't work

and what might be some new rituals like

instead of focusing what you don't have

being truly grateful for what you do

have instead of focusing on what you

can't control

think what you can do right now to

participate in your own rescue not

waiting for someone else to do it

rituals define us and so my hope is

maybe these five things to thrive can

trigger you to get in a state where you

create some new rituals as if they will

create the habits and the experiences of

the life that you desire and that you

deserve so that's my rant I hope it

touched you if it didn't I apologize

because my intent is pure blessings to

you and I hope I have a chance to serve

and see you soon maybe at an event or

somewhere else in the world and Live

Strong and live with passion

Your Eyes Are Trying To Inform You About Your Health Condition By 5 Things - Duration: 3:13.

The eyes have been called the windows to the soul. We can learn a lot about someone's mood.

A quick glance or sideways look can give us more information than a person's body language.

However, the importance of our eyes doesn't stop there.

They often give us important clues about our own health. Poor eye health can signal other significant illnesses.

Our eyes can give us clues about the rest of our body.

If for any reason you have sudden vision loss or double vision, consult a medical professional immediately.

This simple sign could point to an approaching stroke.

With that said look at these eye conditions,

to see what the windows to your soul might be telling you about your overall health.

1. Blurry Vision

Having difficulty focusing could be a result of too much time spent

in front of a computer screen or mobile device.

CVS or computer vision syndrome could be causing too much strain on your eyes

and not allowing you to focus properly.

This issue has a quick fix: Take frequent breaks away from the screen as much as possible.

One other example of blurry vision can be caused by diabetic retinopathy.

This condition affects those with diabetes by attacking the circulatory system in the eyes.

It's a serious problem with American adults who suffer from diabetes.

2. Recurring Stye

A stye can be caused by an ingrown eyelash or minor infection in the eyelid.

They are painful and irritating, and usually go away after a few days.

Sometimes they require antibiotic treatments, and in rare cases they could actually be malignant.

If you have a stye in the same area that doesn't go away even after a few months,

make an appointment with an ophthalmologist.

3. Dark Spot

If you've got a dark spot in your vision, you might associate it with an oncoming headache.

Dark spots or blind spots that are also accompanied by lights or lines are called migraine auras.

Get some rest away from the light until the headache passes and consult your physician as soon as possible.

4. Thyroid Issues

The thyroid gland can cause two separate and distinct eye conditions: eyebrow hair loss and protruding eyes.

If parts of your eyebrows start to fall out, or if you feel like your eyes begin to bulge,

both of these could be indications that there's an issue with the gland

that controls our hormones and our metabolism.

5. Yellow Eyes

Jaundice causes the whites of a person's eyes to turn yellow.

It attacks newborn babies more than anyone, but also can affect adults.

It's a sign of problems in the biliary system that includes the liver, gallbladder, and bile duct.

How to get through Teething Molars 3 top tips how to ease teething molars - Duration: 2:56.

Hi Stacey here from Stacey Jane's Nappy Cakes.

Welcome to this short video on baby teething milestones.....

Particularly the Molars!

Here are 3 Tips you must know on baby molars.

Teething is a milestone in your baby's development.

By the time they turn one, there will be a few front teeth peeking each time they grin.

As each tooth bud breaks through the gums, it will spell a certain degree of discomfort

for your little one and some difficulty for you.

All these, however, will pale in comparison when the baby molars start cutting through,

uh-oh the molars are coming!

When to Expect the Teething Molars!

Brace up for the appearance of your little one's teething molars.

This milestone usually happens at age 14 to 15 months, but you can reasonably expect the

first molars to start coming out as early as 12 months or as late as 19 months.

For many babies, the cutting of the top and bottom molars happen at around the same time.

2.

What to Brace Up For!

The popping of the baby molars can be particularly unpleasant for your little one and you.

These are tougher to cut being large and having double edges.

Your toddler will likely be in pain as the cutting progresses and due to the irritation

or rash caused by excessive drooling.

He will pull his ears, rub his cheeks, bite and gnaw at anything he can grab.

He will have difficulty eating and sleeping, will be cranky, and may even run a mild temperature.

3.

Soothing Your Baby

Experts say that massaging your baby's gums after feedings using your finger (wrapped

in a washcloth or gauze) from birth and through the teething stage can make the cutting of

teething molars less painful.

If your toddler is used to pacifiers, this is not the time to wean him from it.

Gnawing on teething rings or sucking cold, wet washcloth, frozen fruit juice or popsicles

can be good alternatives.

The appearance of the baby molars can make life a little bit harder for your baby and

you, but all these will pass soon enough.

If sleeping through the night is extra hard, giving the recommended dosage of paracetamol

can help.

If you are worried about the safety of using medication, please see your baby's pediatrician

or GP for advice before administering any medication.

S. Korea looks at options to move forward on dialogue - Duration: 2:33.

When President Moon responded that 'right conditions' will have to be formed for his

visit to Pyongyang, many believe the term refers to tight coordination and agreement

with Washington.

Oh Jung-hee delves deeper into what Seoul should do... to keep up this reconciliatory

momentum while drawing the U.S. and the communist state to the dialogue table.

Kim Yo-jong's three-day visit to South Korea as a special envoy... left Seoul with some

questions about how to continue this rare momentum for dialogue.

On behalf of her brother, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, Kim Yo-jong invited South Korean

President Moon Jae-in to Pyongyang,... to which the President responded that "right

conditions" will have to be created for that to happen.

For Seoul, ironing out differences with the U.S. is crucial.

Washington's been explicitly wary of Pyongyang's actions, calling them a "charm offensive,"

and it's warned the regime of tougher sanctions in response to its nuclear and missile programs.

The U.S. defense secretary is also still skeptical about whether the apparent thaw can really

lead to results.

"Using the Olympics in a way to reduce tension if that's going to have any attraction once

the Olympics are over.

We can't say right now."

Some see the inter-Korean detente amounting to nothing... once Seoul and Washington kick

off their joint military exercises in April.

Seoul's unification ministry says Pyongyang could make an "unprecedentedly dramatic move"

to improve inter-Korean ties,... but whether that'd be for denuclearization is not clear.

"We believe that the two Koreas share a consensus on improving inter-Korean ties and establishing

peace on the Korean Peninsula."

South Korea welcomes dialogue with the North, but at the same time believes things have

to move at the right pace for the U.S. too.

And with Washington firm that it wants to see a sincere attitude from the North toward

denuclearization,... experts think Pyongyang should be the one that shifts direction.

"South Korea should try to get the North to change its stance.

There needs to be a discussion between the two Koreas about Pyongyang's denuclearization

before Seoul sends an envoy to the North."

Pundits add that Seoul should act as a bridge between the U.S. and Pyongyang... helping

both of them satisfy their conditions for talks.

But denuclearization, they say, has to be the utmost priority... and in that regard

we could see Pyongyang opening up about what it wants.

Olympic heat builds up in Pyeongchang and Gangneung with flurry of cultural events - Duration: 2:34.

The Winter Olympics is more than just a venue for spectators to witness athletes competing

at the highest level.

The host nation has so much more to offer.

Experience the cultures of the participating countries, savor their unique flavors and

try your hands at some winter sports.

Lee Ji-won starts us off from the alpine city.

Near the PyeongChang Olympic Plaza, the host province of Gangwon-do has set up the "PyeongChang

Festival Park", where visitors can enjoy culture from around the world through a range of daily,

almost hourly events.

The "Act on Stage" corner puts on rich cultural performances throughout the day... including

a jazz band, traditional Korean storytelling and more.

On Sunday, taking to the stage was a Chinese circus.

They had their audience mesmerized... not only with their flashy acrobatics but also

with Chinese cuisine.

"Yeah it's great.

I'm glad that they are doing that because it gives us opportunity to see more than just

sports but to actually understand the culture a little more.

Now we want to see more."

And at the international food corner, chefs from Europe, Asia and the Americas lured in

visitors with the scent and taste of a huge array of dishes from their home countries.

In the spirit of the Olympics, the food corner welcomes visitors from all across the world.

But as the famous saying goes, "When in Rome, do as the Romans do",... many visitors chose

to try some Korean food first.

"We came over here and saw the food and wanted to try the different dishes.

We never had Korean food before and now we've came back today to try some other things."

"It's a feast for the eyes and the taste buds in Gangwon-do.

But there are also lots of winter activities... like sledding at the Daegwallyeong Snow Festival."

Despite the bone-chilling temperature, many climbed up the snowy hill to enjoy the speed

and feel the wind on their faces,... becoming winter sports athletes themselves.

"We saw that this place has a snow festival being held and so we dropped by to ride some

sleds.

It was really fun and it kind of gives us a feeling that we're all part of the Olympics."

To truly make the PyeongChang Olympics a "culture Olympics," dozens, even hundreds of cultural

events big and small are lined up in Pyeongchang and Gangneung throughout the month,... many

of which are free.

More information on the events is online at the "Cultural Olympiad" website.

N. Korea's high-level delegation returns to Pyongyang on Sunday - Duration: 2:01.

After completing their 3-day trip to South Korea... the high-level delegation from Pyongyang,

including Kim Yo-jong, the sister of the regime's leader... returned to the North yesterday,

Before their departure, President Moon Jae-in and the visiting delegation watched a performance

by the regime's art troupe... together in Seoul.

Here's Park Hee-jun with closer look at their exchanges.

The rare and historic three-day visit of the North Korean delegation to Seoul came to a

close... as they returned to Pyongyang on a North Korean plane from Incheon International

Airport late Sunday night.

Their departure came after the high-profile delegation, including Kim Jong-un's powerful

younger sister, watched the final concert by the Samjiyon Orchestra side by side with

South Korean President Moon Jae-in.

It was President Moon and Kim Yo-jong's fourth close encounter since they first greeted each

other during the opening ceremony of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.

During the concert, the two sides expressed hope that the momentum of dialogue and reconciliation

will continue.

"We have created a special spark this time.

The two Koreas should cooperate to fan this spark into a flaming torch."

"Now that we have set a foundation to exchange opinions and even hold reunions with President

Moon Jae-in,...

I return home with the hope we can meet again."

Kim Yo-jong, who was part of the 22-member delegation led by the ceremonial head of state

Kim Yong-nam, was also revealed to be the North Korean leader's special envoy, as she

delivered a personal letter from Kim Jong-un to the South Korean President on Saturday,

when the North's delegation paid a visit to Seoul's presidential office of Cheong Wa Dae.

The letter contained an invitation for the South Korean leader to visit Pyongyang.

Moon responded that he hopes that quote "the right conditions" will be created so that

the proposed visit can take place.

Before attending the art troupe's performance,... the South Korean Prime Minister hosted a luncheon

and President Moon's chief of staff hosted a farewell dinner for the North Korean delegation.
