In just 13 days, the movie, "1987,"
became 1st place on the box office list.
(Danyang, Chungcheongbuk-do)
(Population of around 30,000)
(Aegok, a small town in Danyang)

(If they have ever been to a cinema)
Have you ever been to the movies?
No.
I've never been to one.
I had to keep the house.
My in-laws were very scary.
To not have a single experience
of going to the movies their whole lives...
Frankly, I can understand it in my head,
but I can't understand it in my heart.
It's like a multiplex.

have seen movies before.
- You have to take a day off. / - It takes a whole day.

(Where is everyone else?)
Are you up?
I was going to close the door for you.
- The air surely is nice here. / - Yes.
Yes, it is.
And so is your snoring sound.
(Last night...)
(Snoring hard)
(Dongil couldn't get a deep sleep)
(Where do I have to go?)
(Snoring)
- Did you sleep well? / - Sorry?
- Did you sleep well? / - Yes, and you?
Someone kept on banging on the door in my dream.
But it was actually Changsuk's snoring.
This is all Changsuk's snoring
that got us wandering around.
(Hehehe)
I think I'll get some sleep
now that Changsuk's up.
(Chop, chop, chop)
Can I help you?
(Somehow looking very natural)
- Because you'll be cooking. / - No!
I won't be!
- I can't! / - You look like you'll be good at it.
I'm not.
- You look like a chef in every way. / - No, I don't.
Can you wash me a pepper or two?
Sure.
(Hands fit to grab on to a kitchen knife)
Do you put green onions in your eggs?
(Master of breaking eggs with one hand)
(6 eggs cracked within a minute)
(His cooking level seems to be at a master's level)
(Why would you do that...)
(Mixing)
(When it seems ready)
(Tap!)
(No effort)
(Today's first menu)
(Changsuk-style stir-fried potatoes)
(Head chef and his assistant)
- You've seen this, right? / - Yeah.
Chef-style!
Can you put the pork in there
and add a bit of soybean paste?
That's good.
It'll be fine.
- Now get some kimchi. / - Alright.
(Cut, cut)
(The assistant is following the orders quite well)
(But the stew looks like it might explode soon)
I think something's wrong.
Is this normal?
(Very confused)
- Go get some pepper powder. / - Alright.
Add green onions first.
(Looks like his orders are also out of order)
Some peppers...
Add the peppers?
Just add enough.
Oh, my...
Isn't that too much?
Don't you worry.
It's all the same once you swallow it.
Try it.
Looks pretty nice.
(No need for the head chef to taste his food)
Look at the color.
(The assistant tastes it instead of the chef)
Is it alright?
Yes.
You just added this and that, but it's delicious.
You're a chef, alright.
Kimchi stew is easy to do.
(Omelet rolls are almost done, too)
(Delicately)
(Carefully)
You're really good.
(He really is good at cooking)
It's good.
(He's even better at eating)
(Watching out)
(What am I watching out for...)
Would you like some coffee?
Sure.
(Not going to waste a single piece)
(So good)
This is awesome.
I didn't intend it
but we had an American-style break...
- Breakfast. / - Right, breakfast.
- Omelet... / - With omelet...
Coffee...
(Alarm going off)
(Doesn't move a bit)
Did you all sleep well?
About an hour?
You slept only an hour?
- Really? / - One hour?
I'm sleepy.
Get some sleep. You'll need it.
(And the other two slept very well)
After coffee, let's go
change the posters for now.
Right now?
Let's go together, then.

When was the first time you went
to see a movie?
(Thinking hard)
When I was really, really young...
When I used to live
near Gwangalli, there was a theater
called Yonghyeon Theater.
I remember "Ben-Hur."
"Ben-Hur" and...
At the time,
there was... Well, I'm from Busan,
and my uncle on my mother's side
owned a small theater then.
So, my father took me with him
to watch a movie when I was in middle school.
I still remember the movie's title
to be something like "48 Hrs."
It was a movie for adults.
There were erotic scenes in the middle.
I don't remember it well as I was wary of my father.
"Why did father bring me here?" I thought.
Those movies are to watch with friends.
It was very uncomfortable.
(A movie that once made Changsuk uncomfortable)
("48 Hrs.," starring Nick Nolte and Eddie Murphy)
(A story of a cop and a criminal working together)
(To catch the murderer in 48 hours, rated R)
I think that was my first and my last time
that I went to watch a movie
with my father.
Frankly, after graduating from high school,
I almost led my own life.
Even as a student,
I slept more often at school.
After that, theaters were my home.
I was basically cut off after coming to Seoul.
I frankly feel
really awkward to be left alone
with just my father...
Theaters, you just
need to look to the front. So it's actually better.
But why did he have to choose the movie, "48 Hrs.?"
When I think about it now, it wasn't even that erotic.
It wasn't anything like a sex scene,
but it was something like
some woman doing
some strip show
at a strip bar.
"Sex scene" sounds really strong.
Let's use "bed scene."
Oh, right, I'm sorry.
(Looking away)
A bed scene!
I keep on forgetting the term because I never
had to film such scene.
I did get a little bit of that feeling.
When I heard, "Small Town Cinema,"
what popped up in my head
was a scene from the movie,
"Cinema Paradiso," where the grandfather turns on
a movie projector and the village people
gather to watch the movie.
There's a scene like that.
And that was the kind of feeling
that I wanted here.
(The scene where the movie is shown on a wall)
Personally, at first, I wasn't worried at all.
But later on, I began to get worried because
the movie was longer than I thought.
And I thought the elders
sitting on the edges would leave early.
But they stayed until the end
and I was a little touched.
A visit to a movie cinema
isn't to "kill time" as we often think.

- If you want both. / - Then that's $310.
Okay, good.
- Hello. / - Hello.
I gave you a call before...
(Checking carefully)
(Total of 3 walkers purchased)
Coming to the market
takes up the whole day.
This time of the day seems nicer.
Look at that river.
For some reason...
It's so calming.
It's so nice.
- The river is so pretty. / - Yes.
- It's so peaceful. / - Yeah, it is.

(Small Town Cinema: Overgrown Bromance)
Is this good?
Let me give you a makeup!
You're so pretty!
You look so young!
Hey, Changsuk. Isn't that her?
You can give her your gift now.
You wanted a chair, remember?
I bought this instead of a chair.
Please welcome Lee Sungkyoung,
the singing bird of our cinema!
Hello, everyone!
(A song from the heart)
I'll sing with all my heart.

I don't know why
I thought of Taeha right at that moment.
Yeoreum!
Yeoreum!
I continued to believe her.
When I think about it now,
it's strange just how much I trusted her.
That's how much I trusted her.
I wondered what I was feeling.
How could I go from being so trusting
to being unsure and nervous in an instant?
Where did it come from?
How could my feelings change so quickly?
While I was pondering that,
I saw the two of them.
Yeoreum.
You like Yeoreum, don't you?
What?
Can't I like her?
What's the nature of your relationship with her?
We work together. You know that.
You told me you like her.
Sure, I may have back then. I may not anymore.
That was worse than seeing the two of them kiss.
It made me feel very uneasy.
Let's go.
Excuse me, Yeoreum.
I know we were being unreasonable on the matter.
I'll discuss it with Manager Yoon and get back to you.
But to be honest, I was disappointed in you
with how you handled this.
Work is work. You should be professional.
I know you felt wronged,
but you are taking such emotional approach.
I am a bit offended.
You skipped our workshop
to go on a trip with your boyfriend, too.
Let's try to be professional.
Let's go.
(Episode 12)
Was there a problem with work?
How bad was it that it made you cry?
I know.
It wasn't worth crying over.
Is it difficult working with Taeha?
No, it's not that.
When does that project end?
We took on another project, so it'll be a while.
Can't you
not do that project?
If there is a way to quit,
I wish you would.
I don't know
what exactly it is that you do,
but isn't there a way?
I'm sorry.
No, it's nothing to be sorry about.
I was surprised to see you gone when I woke up.
Don't leave when I'm sleeping.
I'm a bit embarrassed,
but I don't know why I was so nervous.
Sure, you could've run into Taeha while taking a walk.
And while working with him...
Anyway,
I've never seen you cry so much before.
What happened?
Fine.
Let's just sleep tonight.
Can't you sleep at a decent hour
for at least one night?
Where have you been?
I went for a walk.
You keep surprising me lately.
You lost your edge. You're not yourself.
Why do you keep coming to me?
Just live your life. Why do you keep coming to me?
If you keep coming to me,
you make me
wait for you.
Do know how many times I look out the window every day?
- Hey. / - Yes?
I heard something not too long ago.
So?
I remember
every little detail of what was said.
Where she paused and where she continued.
Where she took a breath,
and every intonation.
I remember every little detail.
Isn't it strange?
It is
so strange.
Do you plan to drink alone?
No.
Whatever.
No leaving the other person sleeping alone.
Who said that?
I guess you weren't sleeping.
You were pretending to be asleep,
so I did the same.
Why aren't you asking?
I wish you wouldn't just let it go this time.
Scold me or question me.
Ask me just what is happening.
Why do you do that?
Why do you always stop right there?
Why?
Why do you think I do that?
Stay like this. I don't want to see your face.
It's because I like you more.
You and I aren't equals
because I like you more.
There are times I want to fight
and question why you are the way you are.
But do you know why I just let it go?
Because I feel like if I don't let you win,
we'll end up breaking up.
That's why
I always have to let you win.
Because if I don't hold it in, it'll be over.
Last time, too.
You didn't call me for a week
because I took Arim's side when you two fought.
Of course, I know I was wrong.
But still,
do you know how much I hate that?
The feeling that if I don't let you win,
we'll end up breaking up.
I'm sorry.
Not that. I need to hear something else.
I love you.
I know.
Do you really?
Yes, I do.
Hey! Are we having noodles?
You should eat before they get cold.
- Okay. / - Hold on.
This is dirty. I'll get you a new one.
I had a missed call from Dr. Nam last night.
Why did he call me when they were on a trip together?
Obviously, Yeoreum disappeared.
You have to tell me everything
so that I know what to say and how to act.
We saw each other by chance while I was taking a walk.
- Is that all? / - Yeoreum cried.
Why? Why did you make her cry?
Do you think I'm in a position to make her cry?
What power do I have over her now?
Your Dr. Nam saw her crying.
And?
I said she was crying because of work, so that's all.
And what is the truth?
I heard something,
but I forgot it all.
If you want to act like you know, tell her I said that.
You guys are so complicated.
Why can't you be simple?
Eat if you're hungry. Sleep if you're sleepy.
Life is like that.
Hey.
Good morning, Sol.
Are you leaving on the morning boat?
- Yes. / - She has work to do.
Right. Work.
- Have fun at the workshop. / - Okay.
Why did you call me last night?
Because I missed you?
Don't smile at me like that.
Save that for Yeoreum. Bye.
Watch it.
See you at home.
They seem to be doing well.
They're totally doing well.
They're heading to the boat while holding hands.
Thanks for doing the dishes.
Hi.
Long time no see.
Did you see me score the goal today?
Aren't your cleats too tight? You're running well.
I asked my friend for his before he threw them out.
I don't know why my feet keep growing.
I have a pair of cleats.
Do you want them?
What? They're my size.
I got them for free, but I have no one to give them to.
I don't know if they fit you. Try them on.
If they don't fit, give them back to me next time.
I'll find someone who fits them.
May I really take these?
Thank you!
I'll get going then.
- Look, I got new cleats. / - Nice.
How much longer will you come here to watch that kid?
How come you don't hate him?
What did the kid do wrong?
Did you think it over?
I thought about it 100 times. I still won't date you.
If you thought about it 100 times, that's good enough.
That's the beginning.
It began the moment you questioned whether to do it.
Look.
We'll live to be 100. We've lived only half our lives.
We have half of our lives left.
Let's go to nice places and eat good food
and see nice things for those 50 years.
I want to walk together with you. Is that so bad?
I don't know if I'll live for 50 or 10 years.
So,
let's just live for today.
You can't live the day that is yet to come.
So,
let's start by eating together today.
It's not that different to date a friend.
You eat your food, and I eat mine. It's the same.
But if I put something on your spoon,
you eat it without saying anything.
Then I smile because that makes me happy.
That's what a relationship is.
Does that really require thinking it over 100 times?
Ta-da!
You said you wanted to see me unkempt, right?
You can get your fill today. How do I look?
You look cute.
Are you sure you can do it?
I am. I've always wanted to see you work.
Take off your shirt.
Once I tie this, you can't run away.
- Go! / - Go!
Good job.
- Really? / - Yes.
Hajin!
Come here.
- Isn't it good? / - Yes.
You're a really good person.
I say I want to return to Seoul, and you say "Okay."
I say I want to work today, and you say "Okay."
You help me all day.
Junho won't come near the saw
because he is afraid he will hurt his hand.
Well, our hands are our lives.
Are you finished already?
Yes.
Shouldn't you give Hajin the chance that I lost?
He is the one by your side now.
Why are you watching me eat?
I plan to do it every day once we're married.
So will you marry me?
You're keeping my ring safe, right?
Feel how hard my heart is pounding.
Hajin.
Do you know why I couldn't give you an answer
when you proposed?
Why couldn't you give me an answer?
Because I had no money.
- I have debts. / - Debts?
Yes.
I haven't paid off my student loans and
I owe my mom every cent I used since I turned 20.
I borrowed money to open the shop, too.
Your mom didn't give you money for tuition?
I even pay my mom rent.
Junho, Sol, and I pay 500 dollars a month each.
You'll come to me only after paying all that back?
You can borrow from me to pay her back.
Interest-free for life.
Or you don't have to pay me back.
Should I?
A month ago, I would've been very offended,
but strangely, it makes me happy now.
You're not bringing up your dad, though.
You always avoid talking about him.
So you knew.
Just that there's a painful memory associated with him.
You can stop here for today.
You let me watch you work and
told me why you rejected my proposal. That's enough.
Let's talk a lot more another time.
I have a lot to tell you, too.
We may be up all night long.
We can talk all night long.
- Shall we? / - Yes.
You must be tired.
You must be upset that he wants to discuss
about the wine bar now of all times.
We have to do it tomorrow, anyway.
You had given Yeoreum a bunch of photos of wine bars.
There was a kitchen that we liked...
This is similar to our concept.
But Yeoreum would prefer
something a little more modern.
Which tree will you use?
We can't use real wood.
What do you mean? Everything else is real wood.
We'll make it look like real wood.
Why would you fake it?
I told Yeoreum the furniture is part of the interior
and to consider the interior design concept.
Didn't she tell you?
I said we'd pay the cost of any material, so why...
Mr. Kang Taeha.
We need to have a drink tonight.
Let's talk, person to person.
- Shall we? / - No.
Tonight will be just people who almost became friends,
although I'm slightly younger.
How long will you work this way?
You know our shop doesn't function without Yeoreum.
She tells me, and I tell you.
You reply to me and I have to relay it to her.
What is this? I keep having to repeat what others say!
I know you're upset, but stop drinking.
Yeoreum isn't interested in you. Not in the slightest.
I know. Did I say otherwise?
So must you do this? Can't you be cool about it?
You're the one to talk.
Every time you got dumped,
who drank with you and carried you home?
Junho was in the hospital all day and night back then.
When I think about how I carried you
and climbed those stairs to your old house...
I hate that, too!
You're our dark past.
A dark past that we never want to remember again.
That's what you are to Yeoreum.
Whatever. If you get drunk and need to be carried home
I'm leaving you here, just so you know.
Taeha.
Do you know
what really upsets me and complicates things?
I really wanted you guys to work out.
Do you know why?
"And they lived happily ever after."
That's all a lie.
It only exists in fairy tales.
I wanted a different ending from you.
"They fought, got angry, misunderstood,
doubted, and got disappointed in each other."
"But they tried their best to be happy together."
That's the ending I wanted.
Then I could see you guys
and try to find a true love like that,
instead of a fairy tale love.
A love that can exist in reality.
A love that even I can dream of.
But you ruined everything, you jerk.
You trampled on my dream.
Hey, even if I get drunk and pass out,
don't carry me home.
You have no right to carry me!
I won't ride a clunker, either!
Why are you so heavy?
You weigh a lot more from five years ago.
I didn't gain weight!
Stay still! Hey!
- I lost weight! / - Stay still.
What now... Sorry.
I didn't gain weight.
- I'm not a pig! / - Stay still, will you? Come on!
- I didn't gain weight! / - What on Earth?
This is unfair. I'm Yeoreum's ex-boyfriend, not Sol's.
I may have wronged Yeoreum, but just her.
I apologized and
I let her go.
But what I could never understand is this.
Girls treat their friends' boyfriends like their own.
Fight. Don't. Break up. Don't.
Am I their boyfriend?
She took that to an extreme.
She should've worried about herself.
She was always such an idiot in her relationships.
Hey, get on.
Let's go home.
Let's go home.
Be careful.
Hey.
My goodness, let go. What are you, crazy?
What's going on? What happened? Why is she so drunk?
Ask her when she wakes up, and tell me, too.
I explained it to you already!
Why don't you know? Why?
What's wrong with you?
You're the worst kind of ex-boyfriend.
Why?
Because you still makes Yeoreum cry!
You made her cry again? Why are you doing that?
Hey.
If you're an ex, act like one and be pathetic.
But why are you so good-looking?
I dated Yeoreum for five years,
so I was with you for five years, too.
We were friends once, too.
But once Yeoreum and I broke up,
it was over with you guys, too.
Junho, how many times did I buy you drinks?
Friends, my foot.
I'll drive you home.
If you keep coming to me, you make me
wait for you.
Do know how many times I look out the window every day?
Do I need to explain what I meant?
I'm sure there are days she feels like that.
Taeha should know that those feelings
don't mean anything, right?
If it meant anything, she would've come to me.
- The townhouse... / - About the project...
- You first. / - No, you first.
Let's not work like this.
It's too uncomfortable and getting on my nerves.
I'm going to work properly starting tomorrow.
Just so you know.
Answer it.
It's okay. I don't have my headset.
Just answer it. There is nothing between us anyway.
Just ignore it.
I hate tiptoeing around him.
So why did you text me in the middle of the night?
"You asleep?"
What an ex-boyfriend thing to do.
I was wondering when you were going to say that.
Why did you take a walk in the middle of the night?
I didn't mean what I said.
- Why would I wait for you? / - I'm sure you didn't.
So why can't you answer the phone?
Hello?
Hello?
Hi, Hajin.
You're home, right?
Yes, I'm home.
About the proposal...
I want to redo it.
It was too simple and boring at the hospital.
I thought it was okay.
You don't need to redo it.
No. Let's do what everyone else does
with wine and candles.
So I was thinking,
do you want to come over next Friday?
Sure. I will.
Okay, next Friday then.
Red light!
Hello? Yeoreum?
Are you not home?
Are you with Taeha?
- Are you with Taeha? / - Yes.
Why do you keep lying to me? You said you were home.
Well...
He and Sol drank after the workshop, and
she got drunk, so he brought her home.
He's a little drunk, too.
And he didn't bring his car, so I'm driving him home.
Okay. Call me when you get home.
He's a little drunk, too.
And he didn't bring his car, so I'm driving him home.
My phone got switched with the guy's from the hotel.
I met him to swap phones and
ended up sleeping at his place.
I'm home now.
Good night.
She took such good care of them,
but they're both dying.
This is the fate of No. 12s,
Manager Yoon and Choi Eungyu.
What?
Not all number 12s are the same.
I'm saying I'm different.
Do you call these gifts?
I'm not a guy who creates a burden.
A gift that doesn't wilt or rot is
a true gift.
- Stop babbling. / - Don't touch that. Hand.
Come here.
Come here.
I thought hard about what it is that you need.
What if you fall for me because you love it so much?
What is it?
Close your eyes.
- Why? / - Don't open them.
Stairs.
- It's a gift? / - Yes.
- A surprise gift? / - It's fabulous.
Really?
Don't open your eyes.
Not yet.
Open your eyes.
Ta-da! Look. This is for you!
If you don't flush after using it, it takes care of it.
Look.
It's gone in an instant.
What do you think? This is who I am.
I got you exactly what you need.
What's wrong? Are you that touched?
Don't cry.
Seeing you like that
is making me tear up, too.
You are clueless about women!
Don't you like the gift?
Why are you fighting now?
Yeoreum, I got us a new toilet.
After you finish, it automatically flushes.
- That's awesome! / - Right? Isn't it awesome?
So why doesn't she like it?
If I'm a seven out of ten, Dojun isn't even a five.
I don't know how he got into med school.
Stupid.
Arrhythmia, my foot.
Arim.
Have you given thought about studying abroad?
I did, but I feel bad.
I'd rather live according to my means.
You're already working so hard.
You're doing plenty as is.
I know it's an opportunity that is hard to come by.
Don't make it complicated. Just think about yourself.
I'll gather the documents and leave them at
the hospital, so pick them up.
And think about removing the scar while you're at it.
You have to wear short sleeves in the summer.
Please give these to Ahn Arim if she comes by.
I will.
Today is Friday. I got the flowers.
Where is the vase?
I saw it here somewhere.
What are you doing there?
Hello, Mother.
Did Hajin show you this picture?
No, I just...
Why are you going through his things while he's out?
Put these in the fridge.
It's okay.
Don't worry about it.
I'll take care of it with my mom.
The boy was Hajin...
Is that his first love?
But why is his mom so sensitive today?
You're driving me crazy.
Everyone says you're obedient, don't they?
But you're not.
How many times are you going to bring this up?
Why are you so stubborn?
Because I take after you.
I'm not being stubborn. I'm waiting
for you to understand me.
I keep waiting.
About Arim...
I'll convince her to go study abroad.
But I have to tell Yeoreum.
Can't you understand how I feel?
You know,
I want to talk to somebody about my life.
But if anyone asks about my childhood,
my breath gets caught right here.
I may smile, but I can't breathe.
There were good things and bad
about living with a different name.
There were times when I hurt, too.
I'm so happy that I met you,
but I can't tell anyone any of that.
Not a single person.
I want to be able to do that with Yeoreum
because she's the person I love.
So,
how long will you wait for my permission?
Until you say
"Fine, okay", I'll wait.
I wish you'd say that now.
Fine.
Okay.
Do what you want.
You're so stubborn.
You don't take after me. You take after your dad.
Dr. Nam said he left an envelope for me here.
Yes, he did. Just a moment.
Here.
Is he in his office right now?
He's with a guest.
Please let him know that I picked this up.
I will.
- Kim Myeongjin. / - Yes.
- Oh my gosh! / - I'm sorry.
Are you okay?
You should be more careful.
That hurts.
Give that to me.
Mother, are you okay?
- Are you hurt? / - I'm fine.
You should be more careful!
Mother, I'll clean that up. Go on in.
- Please clean this up. / - Yes, Doctor.
Seriously...
Who is she? Is she your mother?
No, she's Dr. Nam's mother.
Are you here to see Dr. Nam? Stop coming to see him.
Stop it or you'll face the wrath of the scary lady.
I warned you.
- This scar. / - What is it?
Where did you get this scar?
I got hurt while hiking when I was little. Why?
Have you considered getting your scar treated?
Wow, the smell of home.
You're right. It's comforting.
I never even considered it.
I thought I'd recognize him instantly.
- Are you leaving? / - Yes.
Do you want to come over next Friday?
We'll do the kitchen furniture as I revised it, okay?
Sure, go ahead.
You didn't drive?
Junho needed to use the car.
Get in. I'll drive you.
I know where you're going. Get in.
Thanks for the ride.
Arim?
Why are you crying here?
No reason.
You know...
Why do we keep running into each other?
I keep trying to understand,
but seeing you here like this is really upsetting.
I know Hajin isn't interested in you, but...
Yes, you're right.
He's just being nice to me.
Yes.
He must've wanted to help you since he felt bad
because of your situation
since he's such a nice person.
Are you
trying to say he pities me?
Is that it?
Hey, look here.
You're right.
He pities me and
that's why he's being so nice to me.
But why must I hear you say that?
Even if I'm being pitied, it's between him and me.
You know it's pity, but you doubt him and get jealous.
If you can't trust your boyfriend...
Maybe you should've been born an orphan, too.
In your life,
you may be the main character,
but in my life, I'm the main character.
So even if what you say is true,
do you think I'd like hearing that?
Hey. Come in.
Even if I'm being pitied, it's between him and me.
I can't do this.
I saw Arim
on my way here.
You asked me to trust you
and I said I'd wait.
Maybe that's how you work,
but it's not mine.
I can't just sit here
and pretend like nothing happened.
- Yeoreum. / - I don't want to hear it right now.
This is all I amount to.
Why?
Why is it okay for you, but not me?
I trust you and wait for you.
Why can't you do any of that for me?
I can't understand you and Taeha.
Why you keep running into each other.
Why you're so comfortable with each other.
It's strange and I can't understand.
My brain can't grasp it no matter how hard I try.
But I still trust you and try to understand you.
But you...
Why can't you trust me even for a moment?
I said I'd tell you!
How could you do this to me?
Is this all I am to you?
Then don't say you love me.
You've never, for a moment, been genuine toward me.
Do you even know what love is?
I was harsh. Come and sit down.
Yeoreum, stop right there.
Don't go.
Let's calm down first, and...
I am me, and you are you.
We're two different people. Completely different.
I can't do this today.
There were moments that I shouldn't have missed.
Because if I didn't say it then,
it would've become too late.
Moments that I should never have let pass.
Who were you with?
A friend.
A friend, who?
You wouldn't know. Someone from my school.
I lost all my opportunities to tell her.
You said you weren't cheating, but you were.
What, cheating? It's not like that!
You know me. Why would I cheat on you?
- You know I went to Gunsan... / - Yes, the orphanage.
What about it?
A long time ago, they had a boy and a girl
who were as close as real siblings.
Is it too late for me?
About the proposal, I want to redo it.
It was too simple and boring at the hospital.
I'm sorry.
This is all I amount to.
Don't be.
You didn't leave, so it's okay.
I wanted a different ending from you.
"They fought, got angry, misunderstood,
doubted, and got disappointed in each other."
"But they tried their best to be happy together."
That's the ending I wanted.
That ending is impossible now, isn't it?
If I wanted that ending, I should never have let go
and held on to her, no matter how much we fought.
Both Yeoreum and I let go.
Why were you sitting there instead of leaving?
I was going to leave,
but when
I thought about you sitting alone at the table,
it made me so sad.
I thought you'd sit here all night.
I love you.
You must really like me now.
I've heard you say "I love you" so many times,
but I was always nervous. I don't know why.
This is the first time
your "I love you"
is hitting me deep inside.
It must be for real this time.
I love you.
The person Yeoreum should not let go of now
isn't me.
It's someone else.

With the PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games thawing relations between the South and North
Korea,... it's been speculated that direct talks between Washington and Pyongyang could
be on the horizon,... after months of tension and heated rhetoric.

Elbphilharmonie | »Zugabe« auf der Plaza - Duration: 0:57.
I come from France, from Lyon.
We come from Berlin.
From Hanover.
We're here because of the Elbphilharmonie.
Not because, but we went here first thing in the morning.
First time at the Elbphilharmonie.
The ride with the escalator alone was worth the visit.
Of course I would like to go inside, but its not possible at the moment.
We came from Italy for the weekend.
We wanted to check if we can have a look inside.
Q: What would you say, if I surprise you with 4 tickets,
so you can have a tour inside the concet hall?
I would be there!
Definitly, that would be amazing!
Well, we would for sure take them!
*laughing* I am excited!
Thank you! :D
Thank you so much! That is very kind of you.
That is the suprise of the day!
Wow!

Post-Olympics inter-Korean relations - Duration: 14:06.
And to talk more about current and future inter-Korean relations, we're joined by Dr.
Bong Young-shik, a researcher at the Yonsei Institute for North Korean Studies.
Welcome to the program, Dr. Bong
Q1 So as we saw in our report, President Moon
made quite a surprising comment during the Lunar New Year holiday... quoting an old Korean
saying.
Many experts believe he basically hinted that time is not yet ripe for an inter-Korean summit.
How did you interpret that comment?
Q2 Are Washington-Pyongyang talks a compulsory
condition for an inter-Korean summit?
Q3 Different U.S. officials are making different
signals on the possibility of U.S.-North Korea discussions.
So
there are mixed prospects on whether Washington and Pyongyang will sit down for talks.
How do you analyze the Trump administration's strategy on talks with North Korea?
Q4> I understand there is a long road ahead until
leaders of the two Koreas can meet for talks.
Do you think an inter-Korean summit can be held during President Moon Jae-in's tenure?
Q5 Marking the Lunar New Year holiday, the South
Korean government has renewed its call on North Korea to push for a reunion of families
separated by the Korean War.
Do you think family reunions can take place even if an inter-Korea summit is yet to be
realized?
Q6 North Korea is now actively showing its will
to hold an inter-Korean summit, which is very unusual, and is in stark contrast to its previous
stance in recent years.
Why?
Q7 President Moon is taking a very cautious approach
to post-Olympics inter-Korean relations.
When can we expect a detailed outline of the Moon administration's North Korea policy
from this point on?
Q8 And what kind of gestures or actions can we
expect from North Korea after the Olympics?
Q9 We have witnessed two
inter-Korean summits in the past but not much has changed regarding North Korea's nuclear
issue.
And some experts, even some Chinese experts, say
that dialogue can no longer be the solution to North Korea's nuclear standstill because
it's highly unlikely that North
Korea will give up its nuclear ambitions under any circumstances.
Your thoughts?
Q10 We still have one week left until the Olympics
closing ceremony and President Moon's Olympics diplomacy will continue until then.
Are
there
any other issues, or
meetings
that
we
need to look out for?

House Cleaning Employee Squabbles - Duration: 6:46.
Employee squabbles.
Errrgh! I know, you don't want to talk about it either,
but we're going to talk about it today.
Hi there, I'm Angela Brown and this is Ask a House Cleaner.
This is a show where you get to ask a house cleaning question
and I get to help you find an answer.
Now today's show is brought to you by MyCleaningConnection.com
and on there, which is a hub for all things
house cleaning, you're going to find a calendar and the calendar has all of the different
industry events that are cleaning conventions and expo's and trade shows and cleaning webinars
and different things that seminar leaders and trainers are offering house cleaners.
There are things like Facebook lives and a whole bunch of social media opportunities
to help you grow your business,
so MyCleaningConnection.com
and click on the calendar button so you can
see all the stuff that's happening inside our industry.
All right, onto today's show, which is about employee squabbles.
The question came in from a house cleaning business owner who has grown adults that work
for her business and they're acting like children.
And she hates it and she does not know what to do.
The answer is, if you are in business long enough, you will have employee squabbles and
it is your job, yes it is your job, as the employee to squash those.
You're like the mom, or the dad and your employees are like your kids.
Your job is to put a firm hand down and to say, "You know what, this is not tolerated here."
Okay, so how do you do that?
You have to determine what is not tolerated first and foremost.
Is it racism?
Is it bullying?
Is it cursing at each other?
Is it showing up late?
Is it calling each other names?
I mean, we're talking things that go beyond,
"She's looking at me," which also happens.
We have to narrow down what exactly is accepted and what is not accepted.
Then you got to call a meeting and you got to explain to your employees,
"recent situations have sparked this conversation.
So today we have new policies and procedures.
Here's what happens effective today."
Then you have to explain to your employees, are there any questions?
Then you have to answer the questions and make sure that everyone understands.
These are our new rules and policies based on recent scenarios, okay?
Even if you don't have rules and policies in place, today's the day to start.
Go ahead and make sure that going forward, you have a way to solve this problem.
If you have rules and policies, you also have to have consequences.
If you break these rules, these are the consequences.
I don't know what your consequences are, it's different for every business,
but figure it out.
Figure it out and put it in writing.
When you have this meeting with your employees, you want to give them a copy so they can take
it home and re-read it.
You want them to sign a copy, and a copy of that goes inside your employee file.
Now, you have it on file that they understand your new rules and policies.
Because the worst thing that can happen from here on out
is that you have no rules and policies, you send
these cat fighting women and men out into the work force and they take this weird energy
inside a client or customers home.
All right, so what happens, your clients and customers call you and they say, "Hey, your
employees are fighting in my home, what's up with that?"
Okay, that is not professional and that is not tolerated.
There will be consequences, and you have to narrow it down to what will get you fired.
Then if these behaviors are enacted, you have to draw the line and say, "You know what?
Okay, here's the consequence," and you have to follow through, because if you don't follow
through, you send a message to everyone on your team that this bullying, or racism, or
arguing, or whatever it is, is okay. Well, it's not okay.
It's not professional, that's not how you run a business.
If you have all this weird chaotic energy and employee squabbles going on, you need
to squash that fast.
You know, there are a couple of things we have to consider and that is that most women
will have a couple of days a month where they're just ... and we call it PMS, or whatever,
biorhythms, or whatever, but they have a bad day.
They're going to be irritable, they're going to be moody, they're going to say things in
a snappy way that maybe they wouldn't say on a different day.
Is this, that?
Or is this an ongoing behavior of meanness?
Because we don't want to hire meanies or bullies for our business, that's not cool, ever.
If we've hired these people and they're just causing grief, or they're micro-managing or
they're over extending themselves, or they're bossing people around, or they're being ugly,
or they're snapping, that needs to be cut off.
We don't tolerate that at all.
That's not how you run a business.
If you have your rules in place, it's going to make it easier for everyone to know that,
"Hey, when I come to work, this is a safe place," because if you don't have those rules
in place and you allow employee squabbles, what's going to happen is those employees
are going to leave and go somewhere else where it's a happier work environment and there's
not as much stress.
Or, here's the other catch, they're going to turn around and duplicate what you have
allowed in your business.
You hire the new guy and the existing employees are going to behave the same way and you're
going to run off that employee, or worse, they do that to the next employee.
Unless you want to create this weird domino effect of bad energy, where you're entire
employee force just completely bowls over the top of you because you have no backbone,
then guess what?
You need to do it today.
My suggestion would be, if you have employee squabbles, end it today.
End it today.
Come out with some new policies and say, "Guess what?
New rules. If you can't follow these rules,
go find a new job.
We're not going to tolerate this, starting today."
Be really clear about that and be really firm, because you're creating a work force where
you want people to come work for you and it's really hard to get good employees, and if
you have good employees, but they're mismanaged and mishandled by the other employees, they're
not going to stay.
The object is you want to keep people in your business
so you can provide them a better life.
If you're not willing to even provide them a better life at work, they're not going to
stay with your company.
You have to end employee squabbles and you have to do it today.
All right, that's my two cents and there's no leeway,
there's no wiggle room on this one.
Anyway, we'll talk again soon
and until we do,
leave the world a cleaner place than when you found it.

0219 'Tour taxi' goes around the cities of PyeongChang 2018 - Duration: 2:04.
Those of you in PyeongChang or Gangneung for the Olympics have a great opportunity to see
the surrounding province of Gangwon-do... with a guide.
The local government has arranged for local taxi drivers to give day-long tours of the
area for a reasonable, fixed price, making it a lot easier for those without their own
transport to see more of Korea and its culture.
Won Jung-hwan reports.
After watching a sporting event at the Gangneung Ice Arena, a family are on an unforgettable
journey by taxi to to their next destination.
They're taking part in a program set up for PyeongChang 2018 by the Korea Tourism Organization,
which arranged for more than 200 taxies to give private tours of Gangwon-do province
during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
"The service was introduced at the start of the Winter Olympics to show people the ins
and outs of Gangwon-do Province.
We will do our best to provide a comfortable stay for every visitor."
Even if it's your first time in the area,… with this program you won't need to worry
about the fare or where to go,… since you'll be on an exclusive tour with a local driver...
for a set fare.
During the Winter Games, visitors who have purchased tickets to any winter sporting event
can apply and enjoy a tour around the host province,... taking in the region's natural
scenery, traditions and culture.
The taxi tour service gets you 8 hours within a distance of 100 kilometers.
This family has signed up for two consecutive days while they're in Gangneung, and they
say they find it very convenient.
"Before we came, we were concerned about the traffic and where to go in Gangneung.
But our taxi driver has given us some great information, so it was very convenient for
us to get around the Olympic city."
"For less than 20 U.S. dollars,… those of you with tickets for an Olympic or Paralympic
event can not only tour Gangwon-do province, but also see some often hidden gems in the
area.
Won Jung-hwan, Arirang News, Gangneung."

Trump administration pushes for stronger trade pressure - Duration: 2:38.
The Trump administration is moving ahead with its plans to protect American industries from
foreign competition.
It's considering new restrictions and tariffs on products from countries including South
Korea, a close U.S. ally -- some of those tariffs, like steel, in the name of national
security.
Korean tech firms could also be impacted... since they've been accused of patent infringement.
Cha Sang-mi has more.
Concerns are growing over the fate of Korea's major export items in the wake of continued
global import restrictions by the United States, including recent safeguard measures against
Korean-made steel and washing machines.
The U.S. International Trade Commission on Sunday said it had already opened up a probe
into several global tech giants, including South Korea's Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix
on January 19th to look into whether the companies are infringing upon intellectual property
rights of solid-state drives.
The investigation came after a U.S. chipmaker BiTMICRO had filed a complaint against the
firms in early January.
The U.S. ITC can restrict import items under "Section 337" of the Tariff Act on allegations
of patent or trademark infringement.
As Samsung Electronics has the largest SSD market share in the U.S., with 30 percent
of the market, and SK Hynix is ranked seventh, some industry leaders see the move as a way
to target the Korean firms.
KOTRA, the Korea Trade Promotion Corporation also picked steel, home appliances, and cars
as areas that are likely to see import restrictions in the first half of 2018.
"A lot of companies are being encouraged to file anti-trade suits: anti-dumping or safeguards.
And you see a lot investigations being sued right now.
Whether it will spread to other industries than steel or automobile, it really depends
on the company."
The expert predicts requests for import restrictions in the steel and manufacturing sectors will
increase in the future not just for Korean goods, but other countries' goods as well.
The U.S. Department of Commerce urged the Trump administration last week to impose steep
tariffs and quotas on imported steel and aluminum,... including shipments from South Korea.
"Section 232" of the national security review, unveiled on Friday, suggested a range of tariff
options on imported steel and aluminum.
One of the options is a 53 percent tariff on 12 steel exporting countries including
South Korea, China and Brazil.
President Trump will decide in April which tariff option to impose.

S. Korean President Moon Jae-in says talk of Pyongyang summit premature - Duration: 1:36.
President Moon Jae-in was in Pyeongchang yesterday to cheer on the Korean skaters in the short
track finals.
He also met with journalists there,... plus the officials and volunteers that made these
Olympic Games possible.
But when it comes to issues of geopolitics... and the Korean Peninsula,...
President Moon says it's still too soon to think about holding an inter-Korean summit
in the North.
Our Blue House correspondent Hwang Hojun reports.
Don't count your chickens before they hatch... is the stance of South Korean President Moon
Jae-in... when it comes to a possible meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
The liberal leader made those comments on Saturday during his latest visit to the host
city of the Winter Olympics, stopping by the main press center to offer some encouragement
to journalists from around the world covering the PyeongChang Winter Games.
There's been an apparent thaw in relations between the two Koreas during the Olympics,
but President Moon is still cautious about discussing the timing of a meeting between
himself and the North Korean leader.
However, he did note that there's a growing recognition of the need for dialogue between
the U.S. and North Korea and said he looks forward to the momentum for inter-Korean dialogue...
leading to talks between Washington and Pyongyang,... and ultimately North Korea's denuclearization.
The prospect of a visit to Pyongyang by President Moon first surfaced when North Korean leader
Kim Jong-un's younger sister, Kim Yo-jong made a historic visit to Seoul as her brother's
special envoy last week.
She delivered a personal letter from Kim containing an invitation for the South Korean leader
to visit Pyongyang.

0219 Inside the pin trading scene at the 2018 PyeongChang Olympics - Duration: 2:57.
At the Winter Olympics in Korea, visitors are finding that there's more to do at the
Olympic venues than watch the competition.
Some fans collect pins, or badges, as souvenirs from the Games... and trade them to build
their collections.
Some of the pins are quite rare.
And it's a fun way for locals and foreign visitors to mingle.
Lee Ji-won has more from the coastal town of Gangneung.
A massive crowd has gathered at a square in the Gangneung Olympic Park.
It might look like they've come to see a medal race on the street,... but in fact they're
here to trade pins.
Pin trading is one of the unique traditions that's developed over the years at the Olympic
Games.
Anyone with a pin can go up to a trader or anyone else with a pin they like and ask if
they want to trade.
Hello.
I want to trade this badge to this.
That's from Vancouver 2010, and this is a hockey pin.
Are you interested?
Yes, of course.
Thank you.
"I traded my Korean flag badge with a pin from the Sochi Olympics.
I'm trying to collect pins with the Olympic rings to commemorate the event."
Traders from all across the globe have been building their collections for years, and
they have a keen eye for what visitors are offering.
Though rare pins are much coveted, a pin that represents the on-going Olympics and the host
country is also greatly valued.
And pin traders say that through trading, they can feel the Olympic spirit.
"For the last 15 games, I've been actively pin trading and promoting the idea of fellowship
through this kind of activity between the different venues.
Everyone is just very excited and young girls come up and they're screaming and hollering
so that's what warms my heart."
"Many Olympic sponsors have also joined in the pin trading culture by giving out pins
at various events.
And starting with the 1988 Calgary Olympics, Coca Cola has been setting up an official
pin trading center."
People line up to learn more about the history of pin trading, and enjoy the excitement themselves.
And while this culture wasn't big in Korea before,... it has quickly gained a lot of
popularity among locals as well.
"I didn't know much about pin trading before, but this seems like a nice way to remember
the moment.
It feels like a treasure hunt."
Pins have been available since the first modern Olympics in Athens to distinguish athletes,
referees and spectators,... but they've now become a tradition that brings people from
different countries and groups together to share not just the Olympic history, but the
spirit as well.
