Wells Fargo claims that a computer glitch was responsible for more than 400 of their

customers being kicked out of their homes due to foreclosure.

Now, interesting about this story.

Obviously, you can't trust Wells Fargo.

The other thing is, just as you would expect, this was aimed at low-income, poverty-stricken

people who have done a good job working their way out of poverty.

Right?

They're in a home, they're stabilized, everything is working fine.

They should get what they call an extension which basically extends in a mortgage, helps

them make it through bringing down the cost of the mortgage.

And Wells Fargo targeted them.

I mean, there's no question.

In my mind, they targeted these people and now they're trying to blame it on a computer

glitch.

Right.

I mean, to me-

What is your take on this?

I've read this story several times now.

There is nothing in this story that speaks glitch.

This sounds like this was how the program was written for Wells Fargo to use to identify

and target these specific people.

Because a glitch isn't going to go after one specific sect.

A glitch will affect every single person.

This only went after such a small-

Good point.

In other words, if you talked to a computer analyst, they'll say, "This is not a glitch.

A glitch is systemic."

Right?

A glitch is systemic.

This is very isolated.

And it just happens to be poor people who are foreclosed on that should not have been

foreclosed on.

Now, you put this list together.

I love this list.

Let me take a minute and read some of this stuff.

Top 10 primary offense, the type, the penalties that have been hit for Wells Fargo.

They've been caught doing this thing.

Just Wells Fargo?

Just Wells Fargo's ... this list is just Wells Fargo.

Mortgage abuses, five million dollars...

No, five billion.

Five and a half billion.

Five and a half billion dollars in mortgage abuses.

You have here two ... In other words, they were hit that ... This occurred twice, is

what you're saying?

Right.

In banking violations, two billion, almost three billion banking violations, different

occurrences, 14 times.

Toxic security abuses, one billion, 500 million dollars worth, occurred more than five times.

False claims, occurrences where there was an amount in excess of one billion, two hundred

million dollars in losses.

The list goes on forever.

We're going to post this list.

People actually need to see this list, because this is this much of the list.

Okay, so let me tell you what I did today.

I think you're going to like this.

I called my broker, who happens to be working with Wells Fargo as an ... They have an independent

agency which is an investment agency, separate and apart from Wells Fargo.

I say, "You need to send an email to Wells Fargo, and you need to say that you're getting

ready to lose one of your biggest accounts because your criminal conduct."

And my message to the broker was, "Look, there are no excuses here.

Okay?

Crime like this, this type of crime, flows from the top.

You have to get rid of the people at the top.

It's like any organization, you hire people that are like you.

So if you're at the top and you're kind of a little crooked, then everybody underneath

you becomes crooked as well.

So I don't know where that's going to go.

I said, "Send the ..." And he knows I'm serious.

And he knows that it's a substantial threat.

So what is your take on this?

I mean, what do people do?

Do they just say, "I'm through with Wells Fargo.

I don't-"

They should.

We saw the same thing ... Bank of America was involved in a lot of criminal fines that

they got, discrimination, funding fossil fuel companies.

There was a big backlash.

A lot of people left it.

Bank of America didn't necessarily change their ways.

But not enough people left it.

Not enough people stood up and said, "You know what?

You're right.

This is a criminal enterprise."

They only seem to do it when you have an advertiser that seems to support Sean Hannity or somebody

that you don't like politically.

Well, these are criminal activities.

I mean, the grand total here is well over 10 billion dollars in the last few years

And that's just a part of it.

Right!

That's just part of it.

Over 10 billion in a few years that they have ripped off from American consumers and the

federal government.

I think that outweighs any kind of politics, left, right, or center.

But everybody can do something.

They can do the same thing that I did this morning when I call my broker and I say, "You

know, I love you man.

We've been with you a long time.

Our firm ... We've done a lot of business but this email needs to go out, and I need

to see a response that somebody's saying 'Somebody at the top needs to be fired.'"

And the next question is, does there have to be a serious perp walk that takes place,

where the Department of Justice finally does something meaningful, finally throws some

guys that are dressed up in Armani suits in prison?

I mean, that's the only thing that's going to happen to change anything.

And I hate to say that.

The last time we had a Justice Department that did that was actually Reagan with the

S&L.

600!

800!

800 went to jail.

800! 800 bankers under Reagan went to jail.

We haven't seen it since with all this Democratic leadership and Republican leadership.

THE POWERFUL PLANT THAT KILLS CANCER CELLS, REVERSES DIABETES, Sharper Vision , AND CURES ASTHMA! - Duration: 11:23.

THE POWERFUL PLANT THAT KILLS CANCER CELLS, REVERSES DIABETES, Sharper Vision , AND CURES

ASTHMA!

Bitter melon is a member of the same family (Cucurbitaceae) as squashes, melons, and gourds,

which is why it has three distinctive names, depending on where in the world you are eating

this herbaceous vine.

The fruit has a very warty, ridged exterior and is harvested before ripening, as it becomes

increasingly bitter.

It is most commonly found in Africa, Asia, and the Caribbean, and its origins have been

traced back to the Indian subcontinent.

It began to spread more than 600 years ago.

The name is well-deserved, and it is considered one of the most bitter fruits available with

certain culinary benefits.

The benefits of the fruit are found in its flesh, which has the consistency of cucumber

or green pepper before it ripens.

If the fruit is allowed to ripen, a bright red pith emerges, which is also used in some

cultures in their cuisines.

NUTRITIONAL BENEFITS OF BITTER GOURD Bitter gourds are very low in calories but

dense with precious nutrients.

It is an excellent source of vitamins B1, B2, and B3, C, magnesium, folate, zinc, phosphorus,

manganese, and has high dietary fiber.

It is rich in iron, contains twice the beta-carotene of broccoli, twice the calcium of spinach,

and twice the potassium of a banana.

Bitter melon contains a unique phyto-constituent that has been confirmed to have a hypoglycemic

effect called charantin.

There is also another insulin-like compound known as polypeptide P which have been suggested

as insulin replacement in some diabetic patients.

1.

Diabetes Treatment And Blood Sugar Management Momordica charantia is used primarily as an

alternative therapy for lowering blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Considerably it is the most potent and popular fruit in terms of managing diabetes through

alternative medicine.

In fact, drinking bitter melon decoctions is a common practice of diabetes management

in Asian countries.

Certain elements of the bitter melon, particularly polypeptide-P, have structural compositions

akin to animal insulin.

The overall phytochemical composition of the bitter melon consists of charantin, steroidal

saponins, and alkaloids.

Charantin specifically augments glycogen synthesis within liver and muscle cells.

Together, these compounds greatly contribute to the fruit's hypoglycemic effects.

Regular consumption of bitter melon- be it fruit, juice, or dried powder can provide

additive effects when taken with conventional hypoglycemic medication.

2.

Immunity Enhancer Adding bitter melon fruit or juice to your

diet helps you recover from common illnesses much quicker and decreases your susceptibility

to infections.

Bitter melon is abundant in antioxidants that constitute an impregnable line of defense

against viruses.

The fruit is rich in Vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant.

A hundred-gram serving of bitter melon provides over 80 mg of vitamin C.

Antioxidants attack free radicals within the body and eliminate other harmful compounds

that may cause a number of ailments.

3.

Hemorrhoid Relief Bitter melon contains anti-inflammatory properties

beneficial to individuals who have a condition called piles, or most commonly known as hemorrhoids.

Simply make a salve using the plant's roots and apply it topically to the venous swelling

to alleviate pain and to stop bleeding.

You can also treat sores and other skin conditions using this salve.

4.

Sharper Vision Bitter melon notably contains eye-health improving

flavonoids such as α-carotene, β-carotene, lutein, and zeaxanthin.

Together, these compounds enhance eyesight and night vision as well as decelerate macular

degeneration.

These compounds play a crucial role in fighting the effects of aging, eliminating oxygen-derived

free radicals and reactive oxygen species that may lead to numerous complications.

5.

Asthma Relief Bitter melon can help reduce symptoms brought

on by certain respiratory conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, and hay fever.

Bitter melon has anti-histaminic, anti-inflammatory, and anti-viral properties, which makes it

an ideal supplementary food in maintaining good respiratory health.

It also helps promote sound sleep.

6.

Bitter Melon Consumption Can Help To Address Skin Conditions

Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine has been using bitter melon as treatment for

skin conditions for centuries.

The antifungal and antibacterial compounds present in the bitter melon fight off numerous

skin infections including ringworm, scabies, and even the auto-immune condition psoriasis.

Bitter melon stops guanylate cyclase activity that is responsible for worsening psoriasis.

Apply extracted juice or salve to the affected areas to reduce swelling and irritation.

7.

Inhibits Cancer Cell Proliferation Free radicals seek out and destroy healthy

cells, which accelerate aging and lead to numerous complications including cancer.

Bitter melon is abundant in antioxidants that combat free radical effects as well as creating

a strong defense against common diseases.

Along with its abundance of antioxidant are its anti-tumor and anti-carcinogenic attributes.

Recent clinical trials and pharmacologic studies show a link between eating bitter melon and

the reduction of tumors in individuals with breast, cervical, and prostate cancer.

There has been a significant body of studies conducted for its role on cancer prevention,

which is promising as an alternative to potent chemotherapy agents.

8.

Help Treat HIV and Herpes A laboratory test, published in the Journal

of Naturopathic Medicine, suggests that the phytochemical composition of bitter melon

inhibits the activity of the human immunodeficiency virus.

Bitter melon provides additive effects in combination with AIDS treatment.

Likewise, early studies suggest that bitter melon, with its antiviral properties, treat

patients with herpes simplex virus-1 (HSV-1), and prevent the spread of herpetic plaques

to other persons.

9.

Reduce Cholesterol Levels Bitter melon is also widely consumed to help

lower bad cholesterol levels, which in turn prevents atherosclerotic plaque buildup in

arterial walls.

Decongested arteries reduce the risk of heart attack, heart disease, and stroke.

10.

Promotes Bone Health and Fast Wound Healing It is also rich in Vitamin K, an essential

nutrient that plays a key role in regulating normal blood clotting.

Vitamin K also assists in calcium distribution throughout the body; thus, increasing bone

density and reduces your risk of experiencing a bone fracture.

Individuals with osteoporosis should consider eating foods rich in vitamin K such as the

bitter melon.

Otherwise, the lack of this vitamin may cause bone fractures, easy bruising, defective blood

clotting and excessive menstrual bleeding to name a few.

11.

Promotes Good Digestion and Weight Loss Bitter melon only carries 17 calories for

every hundred-gram serving.

Though it is low in calories, it is rich in dietary fiber, vitamins, and minerals.

Dietary fiber aids in proper digestion and smooth peristaltic movement of food and waste

through the digestive system.

Hence, relieving indigestion and preventing constipation.

Likewise, its significant levels of charantin help increase your glucose uptake and glycogen

synthesis, which in turn help you lose excess weight by decreasing storage in fat cells.

CONSUMPTION TIPS Choose unripe bitter melons that are firm,

rather like a cucumber.

Avoid those that have turned orange or have soft spots.

Ripe bitter melons can be excessively bitter.

Store bitter melons in the vegetable bin in the refrigerator to prolong there shelf-life.

It should keep for three to four days.

Keeping bitter melons at room temperature or close to other fruit and vegetables will

speed up the ripening process (due to the emission of ethylene gas) making them more

bitter.

Clean your bitter melon under cold running water and brush with a soft vegetable brush.

To prepare, slice the melon length-wise and scoop out the seeds.

To lessen the bitter flavor, soak it in salt water for about half an hour before juicing

or cooking.

The smaller variety is even more bitter than the larger variety.

To make bitter gourd juice more palatable, add a teaspoon of honey, or add another fresh

juice such as carrot or apple juice.

For diabetics, drink the juice with green apple juice.

HOW TO JUICE BITTER GOURD TO LOWER BLOOD SUGAR LEVEL

Choose a bitter gourd that is of light green.

The bigger and lighter-colored ones are less bitter.

Store unused bitter melons wrapped up in a plastic bag and keep in the fridge for up

to 3-4 days.

Note that the longer you keep the gourds, the more bitter it may become.

Slice the melon length-wise and remove the seeds.

Then cut it to smaller pieces to fit your juicer feeding chute.

Drink about 2-3 ounces every day and you should be seeing an improvement in about 2-3 weeks.

If you like it bitter, you may add one green apple to the bitter juice to make it more

palatable.

Drink this regularly and try to avoid high intake of sugar in food, reduce meat, fried

foods and eat more raw vegetables.

Word of Caution: Avoid consuming bitter melon during pregnancy

as it can stimulate excess menstrual bleeding.

More research is done on consuming bitter melon while breastfeeding, so for now, it

is best to avoid it.

Also, as mentioned earlier, it acts very strongly to reduce blood sugar levels, so should be

avoided pre and post-surgical procedures.

Some people are sensitive to dehydrogenase deficiency, which bitter melons can cause.

The symptoms of this are similar to anemia and include headaches, fevers, and stomach

pains.

This is a very powerful fruit, and it is highly recommended that you speak with your doctor

or physician before adding it to your diet.

Tom Hardy Cites Woody Allen, Conor McGregor, and Redman as Inspiration for 'Venom' Role - Duration: 1:20.

For Complex News, I'm Hanuman Welch

Tom Hardy works meticulously when prepping for his roles.

As he does with every part he takes on, Hardy uses personalities, both real and fictional,

to help shape his portrayal.

For example, when the 40-year-old actor took on the role of Bane in The Dark Knight Rises,

he focused on crafting a unique voice that borrowed from former boxing champ Bartley

Gorman, as well as Elizabeth Taylor's late husband Richard Burton.

"Bane is somebody who's in tremendous pain all the time.

So he had an older voice which is sort of Richard Burton, I suppose, you know.

Slightly florid, camp English villain … in many ways, but just off-center."

In order to tackle the dual roles of Eddie Brock and Venom in the upcoming film, Hardy

needed to prep for more than a year.

In his profile for Esquire, he revealed that the inspirations behind those two parts were

quite an eclectic and controversial trio—Woody Allen, Conor McGregor, and Redman.

"Woody Allen's tortured neurosis and all the humor that can come from that," he explains.

"Conor McGregor—the überviolence but not all the talking.

And Redman'—the rapper—'out of control, living rent-free in his head."

Hardy admits that acknowledging their influences to craft his image of both Venom and Brock

isn't something he would tell the executives over at Sony that are backing the film.

"You don't say shit like that to the studio," he said.

Nobody cares about your logo! - Duration: 4:32.

You spent three months working on your logo but you haven't started your business yet?!! Really?

Nobody cares about your logo. Really!

I see so many new business owners who are starting a business or entrepreneurs and they spend

so much time on branding. They think about what kind of logo should they have?

And then they brainstorm and go to all the different platforms to do logo competitions to find a logo.

And they think about colouring and the font that expresses the personality of themselves,

that is also in alignment with the company culture that they are trying to build.

And they're trying to think about all kinds of depths and directions of brand building that are completely

and utterly irrelevant.

Seriously.

What you should focus on if you are starting a new business.

The company name and logo should be the least of your concerns.

You want to focus on building a business that is profitable.

You want to focus on building relationships with customers who want to buy from you again.

You want to focus on developing and increasing the quality of your products and services,

of improving your ROI, of getting to the market faster, of getting more clients

to buy more frequently at higher amounts.

That's what you want to focus on!

And if you focus on those qualities, you make more money, you have more time, and THEN you

can think about changing your logo, getting a new and better logo.

Or to change your brand name.

Because then you actually have some feedback from some real customers and they can tell

you: "We really like this kind of energy that you are putting out there."

Or "We really like this and this benefit."

Once you understand, and actually have customers, and customers tell you what they like about

your product, why they are loyal returning customers, then you have some information

you can give a good designer to make something incredible that is ENHANCING what's already

there.

BRANDING IS ENHANCING WHAT IS ALREADY THERE.

You can't fake authenticity!

You can't create the impression there is something of value if there is no value.

You can't fake it that there is a good product if your product sucks and is shitty!

You can't create the aura of a great community if people don't want to buy from you again,

or they don't feel loyal to your brand.

You have to build those things first!

And then you start building a logo.

Okay, so what Tim?

Now, should I have no logo and no company name?

No, you can start with any company name.

Any company name is good enough!

Think about a stupid name like "Google".

Think about this. if you had no memories of the last 20 years.

If someone came to you and said, I have developed this new company logo and the company name

is called G O O G L E. Google!

And people would say "What a stupid name?!"

"And the colour looks like a rainbow!"

"Nobody has this kind of design!"

People would laugh at you.

Why don't they laugh today anymore?

Because the company has such a great product.

People are using it everyday.

It has become a verb.

People "google" things.

And because of that fact, people will associate all their good feelings with the company name

and the logo, however stupid the logo might seem and appear at the first glance.

A logo is built!

You can always change your company name.

You can always do a rebranding.

You can always can get a completely new logo.

But thinking about your logo and your branding before you build any products or before

having any customers is the most stupidest thing on earth that you can do!

So, please focus on building a business first, then think about improving your branding second!

What do you think?

Do you think a logo and branding are more important than developing products and services?

Or to building a good relationship with loyal customers who want to buy from you over and over again?

Let me know in the comments below.

And make sure that you follow me for more awesome marketing strategies and LinkedIn content!
