For Complex News, I'm Pierce Simpson // It's hard to imagine that it's been over 15 years

since then 16-year old LeBron James graced the cover of Sports Illustrated with the magazine

dubbing him as the "Chosen One".

At that time, it was pretty much a forgone conclusion that 'Bron would make the jump

directly to the NBA straight out of High School -- and with that move came each and every

sneaker brand looking to grab the services of LeBron.

Recently on Bleacher Report's new series Kneading Dough, LeBron James explained to his longtime

friend and business partner Maverick Carter how one sneaker brand gave him an offer he

nearly couldn't refuse...

It's

no secret that LeBron endured a ton of adversity growing up in Akron, Ohio -- which made contemplating

the eight-figure check that much tougher:

By now, everyone should be well aware that LeBron chose to go with Nike instead of Reebok,

and last year, King James inked a lifetime deal with the Swoosh for a reported "Billion-Dollars".

LeBron and the Cavaliers hope to secure another playoff series victory, as they take on the

Toronto Raptors tonight at The Q...

Windy And Cooler - Duration: 3:25.

WERE BABIES THIS WEEKEND

ABOUT THE WEATHER.

KEVIN: IT WILL BE A COLD NIGHT.

THAT IS THE BIGGEST HEADLINE

THIS WEEK IS THAT WE HAVE MORE

RAIN COMING BUT IT WILL ALSO

TURN CONSIDERABLY COOLER.

NOW THAT WE ARE IN MAY, WE ASK

ACT WARMER WEATHER.

YOU'LL HAVE TO STEP BACK

TEMPERATURE WISE.

IT HAS BEEN A WINDY DAY.

WE ARE STILL BEING IMPACTED BY

THAT STORM SYSTEM THAT BROUGHT

ALL THE DESTRUCTION TO THE DEEP

SOUTH.

HERE IS THAT COLD FRONT CHASING

TO THE EAST WITH SHOWERS AND

THUNDERSTORMS.

YOU'RE DONE WITH ANY THREAT FOR

SEVERE WEATHER.

NOTICE CLOUDS AND SHOWERS TO OUR

WEST.

HERE IS A LOOK AT RADAR.

I DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A BAD

EVENING.

PROBABLY NEED A JACKET OR A

SWEATER IF YOU'RE HEADING OUT.

I DO NOT EXPECT A LOT OF RAIN

THIS EVENING.

THERE MIGHT BE A PASSING

SPRINKLE OR SHOWER.

IT WILL REMAIN QUITE BREEZY.

WINDS HAVE GUSTED CLOSE TO 40 AT

TIMES.

WIND GUSTS JUST SHY OF 40 MILES

PER HOUR.

WEST, WINDS ARE DESTINED IN

EXCESS OF 30 MILES PER HOUR.

AT THE AIRPORT, 61 DEGREES.

53 IN BATESVILLE.

TEMPERATURES ARE ALMOST 70 IN

MAYSVILLE.

THOSE BREEZES WILL CONTINUE.

I CANNOT RULE OUT A BRIEF

PASSING SHOWER OR SPRINKLE.

THOSE SHOWERS WILL BE OUT OF

HERE BY TOMORROW MORNING.

WE WILL GET BACK INTO SUNSHIN

AND TOMORROW LOOKS DRIVE.

IT WILL NOT STAY DRY FOR LONG.

BY WEDNESDAY, OUR NEXT ROUND OF

RAIN MOVES IN.

TALK ABOUT A CHILLY, SOAKING

RAIN.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO THURSDAY

COULD BE QUITE WET.

45 FOR A LOW TONIGHT.

TOMORROW, EXPECT A MIXTURE OF

SUN AND CLOUDS.

WE COULD SEE WIND GUSTS CLOSE TO

40 MILES PER HOUR.

A COOL START AT 46 AT 8:00 A.M.,

AND THEN MID 60'S BY AFTERNOON.

ONE THING YOU WILL NOTICE, THE

LACK OF 70'S OR 80'S.

NONE OF THAT IN THE NEXT SEVEN

DAYS.

WE EVEN HAVE 30'S APPEARING ON

THE MAP FOR OVERNIGHT LOWS FOR

THE WEEKEND.

RAIN WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO

THURSDAY, PROBABLY LINGERING

INTO FRIDAY.

PLENTY MORE WET WEATHER ON THE

WAY.

IT DRIES OUT JUST IN TIME FOR

>> NOW, THE WGAL NEWS 8 STORM

TEAM FORECAST WITH METEOROLOGIST

ETHAN HUSTON.

ETHAN: THAT IS THE SAME SYSTEM

COMING OUR WAY AND BRINGING THE

THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER.

THAT IS WHY WE HAVE A TORNADO

WATCH FOR MIFFLIN COUNTY COME A

JUNIATA COUNTY AND POINTS NORTH

AND WEST.

THE SKIES REALLY TELL THE STORY.

WE HAVE LOTS OF CLOUDS, SOME FOG

AND DRIZZLE THIS MORNING, AND

THAT HAS STABILIZED THINGS, BUT

AS TEMPERATURES WARM UP TO NEAR

80 DEGREES WITH THE DEW POINTS

IN THE 60'S AND A STRONG WIND

OUT OF THE SOUTH, WE CAN STILL

SEE SOME STRONG TO SEVERE

THUNDERSTORMS LATER THIS EVENING

TOWARD SUNSET.

YOU CAN SEE SOME PATCHY DRIZZLE

RIGHT NOW, BUT IT IS THE MAIN

LINE OF STRONG STORMS THAT HAVE

A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING

ALL THE WAY FROM THE NEW YORK

STATE LINE TO THE WEST VIRGINIA

AND MARYLAND LINE.

WE'VE HAD A REPORT OF A FUNNEL

CLOUD IN MCKEAN COUNTY A FEW

MINUTES AGO.

OUT AHEAD OF THE MAINLINE IS

WHERE WE COULD SEE A WEEK SPENT

UP TORNADO OR GUSTY WINDS.

ONCE THIS LINE ROOSTER THE

SUSQUEHANNA, OUR WEATHER SHOULD

IMPROVE, THAT SHOULD BE ABOUT

2:00 AND HIM MORNING -- IN THE

MORNING.

RIGHT AROUND 8:00 IS WHEN THE

WEATHER WILL START TO TAKE A

TURN FOR THE WORSE.

WE WILL SEE THE LINE OF

THUNDERSTORMS MOVED THROUGH

UNTIL ABOUT 2:00, THEN WE WILL

HAVE MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES AND TWO

MERGERS THE 50'S FOR OUR LOWS.

TOMORROW, IT WILL BE BREEZY.

TEMPERATURES WILL BE NEAR

AVERAGE AND THERE MAY BE SOME

ISOLATED SHOWERS IN THE

AFTERNOON AND EVENING TOMORROW.

UNTIL ABOUT 8:00, IF YOU'RE

WATCHING FROM CHAMBERSBURG

TOWARD MIFFLIN AND JUNIATA

COUNTIES, AND THEN AFTER

MIDNIGHT POINTS EAST.

IT IS CURRENTLY 81 IN

GETTYSBURG.

THE COOLER WEATHER IS SITTING TO

THE WEST.

TEMPERATURES ARE IN THE 50'S IN

A CHICAGO AND DAYTON, OHIO.

THAT WILL REALLY PUSHING HERE

ONCE THE STORM SYSTEM WAS TOWARD

NEW ENGLAND.

TEMPERATURES WILL FEEL COLD BY

WEDNESDAY.

WATCH WHAT HAPPENS.

HERE IS THAT BROKEN LINE OF

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS.

IT IS THAT AREA AHEAD OF THE

REST OF THE LINE WHERE WE COULD

SEE A WEEK SPENT UP TORNADO OR

GUSTY WINDS.

IT SHOULD BE MAINLY TO THE EAST

BY MIDNIGHT, BUT SOME SHOWERS

AND THUNDERSTORMS COULD LIGER

UNTIL ABOUT 2:00 IN THE MORNING.

AND WE SEE BREAKS IN THE CLOUDS

ON TUESDAY.

PATCHY SHOWERS WILL BE POSSIBLE

TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

ANOTHER COLD FRONT WILL MOVE IN

INTO WEDNESDAY, BUT IT SHOULD

DISSIPATE.

IT WILL BE COOLER INTO

WEDNESDAY.

TEMPERATURES WILL STRUGGLE TO

GET OUT OF THE LOWER 60'S FOR

OUR HIGHS.

THAT IS WHERE WE WILL STAY INTO

THURSDAY WITH ACTIVE WEATHER

LASTING MUCH OF THE REST OF THE

WEEK.

TEMPERATURES ONLY CLIMB INTO THE

LOWER 60'S INTO THURSDAY.

MID 60'S FOR FRIDAY.

WE WILL STRUGGLE TO GET OUT OF

THE 60'S AND POSSIBLY STAY IN

THE 50'S SUNDAY INTO MONDAY.

AND WE'LL BE BACK WITH YOU AT

11:0

ANNOUNCER: NOW, FIRST ALERT

WEATHER WITH METEOROLOGIST TOM

MESSNER.

TOM: OVER THE WEEKEND, IT WAS

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE FOR A LOT OF

FOLKS IN THE MIDWEST.

FLOODWATERS CONTINUE TO RISE IN

MISSOURI, WHERE TWO PEOPLE HAVE

DIED AND MORE THAN 100 OTHER

WERE RESCUED BECAUSE OF THE

FLOODING YOU ARE LOOKING AT

THERE.

WOW.

IT SURPASSED HISTORIC LEVELS,

WITH SOCCER FIELDS FLOODED.

THE NATIONAL GUARD HAS BEEN

ACTIVATED.

THE GOVERNOR SAYS THOUSANDS OF

TROOPS ARE READY TO ASSIST WITH

EFFORTS TO FLIGHT -- FIGHT THESE

FLOODS, AND I AM SURE YOU HEARD

THAT TORNADOES WERE A REALISSUE

OVER THE WEEKEND, AS WELL.

ALL RIGHT, LET'S TALK ABOUT

MISSOURI.

WE WILL ZOOM DOWN.

THEY ARE IN BETTER SHAPE THAN

THEY WERE EARLIER.

THEY WILL HAVE A LOT OF CLEANING

UP TO DO.

OF COURSE, THE FLOODWATERS WILL

HANG IN THERE, AND THE STORM

TRACKER, A LITTLE BIT CLOSER TO

HOME, WE ARE LOOKING AT SOME

CLOUDS OUT THERE.

IN THE ST. LAWRENCE VALLEY, WE

HAVE GOT BITS AND PIECES.

THE FARTHER YOU GO FROM THE ST.

LAWRENCE VALLEY, THE WEATHER IS

GOING TO BE, SO YOU FOLKS OF

ONTARIO AND POINTS NORTH, IT

WILL BE WETTER.

THE MAIN EVENT IS STILL OFF TO

THE WEST.

LOOK AT THIS LINE OF POWERFUL

THUNDERSTORMS RIGHT HERE.

THAT IS WHAT IS GOING TO BE

HEADING OUR WAY.

NOW, IT LOOKS LIKE WE ARE NOT

DEALING WITH STRONG STORMS.

THERE ARE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM

WATCHES AND WARNINGS.

IN PARTICULAR, WARNINGS, AND

THEN YOU GET INTO A TORNADO

WATCH.

THAT IS WHAT ALL OF THIS YELLOW

IS.

NOT IN OUR AREA.

JUST TO THE WEST OF US, THERE

HAVE BEEN TORNADO WARNINGS IN

NORTHERN PENNSYLVANIA, WHICH IS

INDICATED, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE THE

AIR IS GOING TO BE LESS STABLE

NEAR US, SO WHEN IT COMES OUR

WAY, SURE, WE COULD FIND SOME OF

THIS TOWARDS THE ST. LAWRENCE

RIVER VALLEY A FEW HOURS FROM

RIGHT NOW, MAYBE SOME WIND, BUT

WE ARE NOT EXPECTING WHAT IS

GOING ON THERE TO HAPPEN HERE.

MEANWHILE, ONCE THE SYSTEM GOES

THROUGH, WE ARE STILL IN A

SHOWER PATTERN.

THERE WAS SNOW OUT THERE A WHILE

AGO, BUT LOOK AT THE SHOWERS OFF

TO THE WEST AND SOME OF THE

STUFF WE ARE GOING TO BE DEALING

WITH AS WE STEP AHEAD.

LET'S STEP AWAY AND SHOW YOU

WHAT IS GOING ON IN BURLINGTON.

WE HAVE A LOT OF CLOUDS.

IT IS NOT RAINING RIGHT NOW BUT

CERTAINLY WILL BE IN A LITTLE

WHILE.

WE WILL CALL IT MOSTLY CLOUDY.

WE HAVE GOT AT LEAST-SOUTHEAST

WIND AT ABOUT 15 MILES PER HOUR.

65 DEGREES IN BURLINGTON, 62 IN

SCHUYLER FALLS, BUT OFF TO THE

EAST, WARMER THERE HAS NOT QUITE

MADE IT IN, AND YOU REALLY CAN

BE THE DIFFERENCE.

70 DEGREES RIGHT NOW IN

BENNINGTON, 70 AT SARANAC LAKE.

LESS TIME AT WHAT IS GOING TO

HAPPEN.

THIS IS FUTURECAST.

7:30 P.M., MOST OF US LOOKING

ALL RIGHT.

SOME THUNDERSTORMS GETTING INTO

THE ST. LAWRENCE RIVER VALLEY.

9:30 TONIGHT, NORTHERN NEW YORK

LOOKING AT SHOWERS, AND I DO

THINK WE WILL HAVE SOME

THUNDERSTORMS IN THERE, OR HAVE

SOME SEVERE WEATHER.

RIGHT NOW, IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE

WE WILL HAVE A LOT OF IT.

RAIN IN THE CHAMPLAIN VALLEY.

THIS WILL BLOW THROUGH.

MIDNIGHT TONIGHT, THE HEAVIEST

EAST OF THE VALLEY, AND THEN

CENTRAL AND EASTERN VERMONT

LOOKING AT THE ACTION, AND THEN

THIS STUFF DOES LEAVE.

HERE IS YOUR TOMORROW.

IT COULD BE A LITTLE ON THE

BRIGHT SIDE TOMORROW MORNING,

AND THEN SCATTERED SHOWERS

RETURN, AND YOU KNOW WHAT?

I THINK WE WILL FIND SOME

SCATTERED SHOWERS YET AGAIN.

TONIGHT, SOME SHOWERS, AND, YES,

WE MAY FIND SOME THUNDERSTORMS,

SOME ON THE STRONG SIDE.

IT WILL BE MILD, 56 DEGREES THE

LOW TONIGHT.

TOMORROW, TEMPERATURES GETTING

INTO THE 50'S, 60 TO NEAR 70

DEGREES FOR SOME DOWN TO THE

SOUTH.

THE FIVE-DAY FORECAST, WE WILL

CALL IT 64 IN THE VALLEY.

TOMORROW, SCATTERED SHOWERS.

I THINK THE BEST CHANCES FOR

RAIN SHOWERS, HOLDING OFF UNTIL

FRIDAY AFTER THAT, BUT SOME

AFTERNOON CLOUDS ON DAY.

FRIDAY, WE ARE LOOKING FOR RAIN,

SOME SHOWERS ON YOUR SATURDAY.

AND SUNDAY, NOT THE GREATEST OF

WEEKS, AND THEN ON MONDAY, STILL

President Trump: I'd meet with Kim Jong Un 'under the right circumstances' - Duration: 2:13.

President Trump on Monday told Bloomberg News that he would meet with North Korean leader

Kim Jong Un "under the right circumstances."

"If it would be appropriate for me to meet with him, I would absolutely, I would be honored

to do it," Trump said in an interview with the outlet.

"If it's under the, again, under the right circumstances.

But I would do that."

He continued: "Most political people would never say that, but I'm telling you, under

the right circumstances, I would meet with him.

We have breaking news."

His declaration came days after he told Reuters that a "major, major conflict" with North

Korea was possible, as the country continues to illegally develop its nuclear program and

ballistic missiles.

Trump's words also came after Secretary of State Rex Tillerson called on the United Nations

Security Council to impose sanctions on North Korea to stop its nuclear threat.

White House spokesman Sean Spicer said the conditions for a meeting with North Korea

are not there yet, noting "we've got to see their provocative behavior ratcheted down

down immediately."

Asked why Trump would be "honored" to meet with Kim Jong Un, Spicer said that "he's still

a head of state ... there's a diplomatic piece here."

Madeleine Albright was the last U.S. official to meet with a North Korean leader, back in

2001.

Since becoming leader of North Korea after his father's death in 2011, Kim Jong-un has

not met with any other foreign leader, nor has he left his country.

In a separate interview with Fox News' new program, The Fox News Specialists, Trump said

of North Korea: "Nobody's safe.

I mean, who's safe?

The guy's got nuclear weapons.

I'd like to say they're very safe.

These are great brave solders, these are great brave troops and they know the situation.

We have 28,000 troops on the line and they're right there.

And so nobody's safe.

We're probably not safe over here.

If he gets the long-range missiles, we're not safe either."

What do you think about this? plese share this news and let us know what

you think!

A QUIET STRETCH OF 64.

THE OHIO RIVER IS KIND OF WAY BE

RIGHT NOW.

THE WINDS ARE STILL GUSTING OVER

30 MILES PER HOUR, A VERY

BLUSTERY MONDAY AFTERNOON.

AT LEAST IT DRIED OUT.

NO BIG SHOWE AROUND THIS

AFTERNOON.

HIGH TEMPERATURE TODAY AFTER

MIDNIGHT, 70.

DURING THE AFTERNOON WE HAVE

BEEN BASICALLY THE LOW AND

MIDDLE 60'S.

WE WENT AS COLD AS 58.

WE CHECKED IN WITH A QUARTER OF

AN INCH OF RAIN LESS -- LATE

LAST NIGHT THROUGH THE EARLY

MORNING.

SINCE THEN, IT HAS BEEN DRY.

UPPER 50'S AND LOW 60'S ACROSS

THE BOARD.

LOOK AT THAT WEST BREEZE.

WE HAVE THE RELATIVE HUMIDITY

JUST SHY OF 50%.

RADAR SCANS LOOK GREAT.

WE DO NEED TO DRY OUT EVEN MORE.

AFTER ALL THAT EXTREMELY HEAVY

RAINFA FROM I-64 AND POINTS

NORTH, RADAR SCAN AROUND THE

VIEWING AREA A CLEAN SWEEP IN

ALL DIRECTIONS.

IT LOOKS LIKE THAT WILL HOLD FOR

THE MOST PART NIGHT AND

TOMORROW.

THERE COULD BE AN ISOLATED

SHOWER OR TWO, MOVING ACROSS THE

NORTHERN HALF OF THE VIEWING

AREA.

THERE'S A LITTLE DISTURBANCE OUT

OF SECTIONS OF MISERY AND

SOUTHERN ILLINOIS, AND GIVE US A

LIGHT SHOWER.

CERTAINLY WE ARE BEHIND THE COLD

FRONT.

HOW TO ADD EVENT, THINGS ARE

GOING GANGBUSTERS.

ALSO AS OF SEVERE WEATHER

WARNINGS AND CENTRAL

PENNSYLVANIA AND NEW YORK CITY.

THERE'S A TORNADO WATCH IN

EFFECT.

AROUND HERE, JUST A GUSTY WEST

TO SOUTHWESTERLY BREEZE BEHIND

THE FRONT.

IT IS KEEPING US COOL AND MOSTLY

CLOUDY.

THROUGH THE NIGHT, A SLIGHT

CHANCE FOR A STRAY SHOWER NORTH

OF LOUISVILLE.

OTHERWISE, TEMPERATURES SETTLING

IN THE UPPER 40'S TO NEAR 50 BY

DAYBREAK TOMORROW.

IT WILL BE A COOL SPRING NIGHT

AROUND THE REGION.

WE WAKE UP CLEAR TO PARTLY

CLOUDY.

A MUCH BETTER START.

KEEP IN MIND THE WINDS ARE GOING

TO PICK UP AGAIN AS WE MOVE

THROUGH TOMORROW.

THEY COULD BE BLOWING AS I IS 30

TO 35 MILES PER HOUR AGAIN IN

THE AFTERNOON.

AT LEAST WE WILL SEE A LOT OF

SUNSHINE AND THE TEMPERATURES

WILL BE A LITTLE WARMER AGAIN

TOMORROW WITH ALL THAT SUNSHINE.

HIGHS IN YOUR HOMETOWN CLIMBING

INTO THE UPPER 60'S AND LOWER

70' AROUND THE AREA.

EXPECTING 70 FOR TOMORROW IN THE

TOMORROW LOOKS TO BE PROBABLY

THE BEST DAY OF THE NEXT FIVE TO

SEVEN.

MOVING INTO WEDNESDAY, WE START

OFF WITH A LITTLE BIT OF

SUNSHINE.

CLOUDS INCREASE.

A CHANCE FOR LATE DATE RAIN

SHOWERS.

TEMPERATURES COOLER WITH HIGHS

IN THE LOWER 60'S.

THAT MEANS FOR THE GREAT

STEAMBOAT RACE, BREEZY FROM TIME

TO TIME.

63 DEGREES AT 4:00.

A COUPLE SHOWERS WILL BECOME

POSSIBLE DURING THE STEAMBOAT

RACE ITSELF.

58 AS WE MOVE INTO WEDNESDAY

EVENING.

YES WHAT?

FOR THURSDAY, FRIDAY, A PORTION

OF SATURDAY, A BIG UPPER LEVEL

LOW WILL SET UP ACROSS THE OHIO

VALLEY.

THURSDAY, 59 DEGREES FOR THE

PEGASUS PARADE.

A GOOD CHANCE FOR RAIN SHOWERS.

STILL A CHANCE FOR WINDY AND

COOL RAIN SHOWERS ON OAKS DAY.

HIGHS IN THE UPPER 40'S TO NEAR

50.

BETTER UNDER B-DAY.

MORNING SUNSHINE AND THEN --

BETT ON DERBY DAY.

MORNING SUNSHINE, IT THAN A

CHANCE FOR A STRAY SHOWER.

50'S AND 60'S OUT THERE FOR THE

NEXT COUPLE HOURS.

BREEZY BUT MAINLY DRY.

10:00 TONIGHT, COULD BE A STRAY

SHOWER.

WE WAKE UP TO A COOL 50, BUT WE

WILL GET SUNSHINE IN HERE

TOMORROW.

NOT ONLY IN THE MORNING, BUT

MID-DAY THROUGH THE AFTERNOON AT

THE WELL.

IT WILL BE ANOTHER WINDY DAY

TOMORROW, ESPECIALLY IN THE

AFTERNOON.

HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 70.

THEN A GOES DOWNHILL.

WEDNESDAY, CHANCE FOR AFTERNOON

SHOWERS.

RAIN LIKELY THURSDAY AND OAKS

DAY.

THERE COULD BE A LINGERING

SCATTERED LIGHT SHOWER ON DERBY

STUDENTS SAY THE TEACHER IS

INNOCENT.

DAVONTE: AND STUDENTS TELL ME

THAT MR. ELLIOTT HAS BEEN A

TEACHER HERE FOR 13 YEARS.

THEY SAY THESE ACCUSATIONS

TWO THINGS --

ONE, NOT TRUE

AND THE SECOND, DOES NOT

DESCRIBE HIS CHARACTER.

>> FREE ELLIOTT.

>> I WASN'T EXPECTING HIM TO

EVER GET ACCUSED OF THIS.

DAVONTE: THIS TEACHER, ACCUSED

OF SEXUAL BATTERY AGAINST A

STUDENT AT SOUTHWESTERN RANDOLPH

HIGH.

STUDENTS SAY DURING SCHOOL AND

IN CLASS, JARRET ELLIOTT HIT A

STUDENT ON THE REAR END, A

STUDENT HE WANTS PREVIOUSLY

COACHED.

-- HE ONCE PREVIOUSLY COACHED.

>> HE'S A COACH.

THAT'S WHAT COACHES DO.

ANY COACH WOULD ALWAYS DO THE

SAME THING.

DAVONTE: SENIOR SAMANTHA

KNEW ELLIOTT DURING THEIR FOUR

YEARS IN HIGH SCHOOL.

THE STUDENT SUPPORT SHOWN MONDAY

AND WE NEVER HAD THIS KIND OF

ISSUE BEFORE.

DAVONTE: THE RANDOLPH COUNTY

SHERIFF'S OFFICE CHARGED ELLIOTT

AFTER A TIP, AND WHAT THEY

DISCOVERED DURING THEIR

INVESTIGATION.

HOWEVER, DEPUTIES AREN'T

RELEASING EXACTLY WHAT THEY

FOUND.

ALL OF THIS WAS SHOCKING ENOUGH

FOR THE COMMUNITY TO CALL FOR A

PRAYER SERVICE ON SUNDAY.

IT WAS ALSO SHOCKING ENOUGH FOR

STUDENTS TO FIGHT FOR THEIR

TEACHER.

>> WE WANT ELLIOTT.

>> HE'S NOT THE TYPE OF PERSON

TO DO ANYTHING WRONG TO ANYONE.

HE'S A VERY LOVING PERSON.

HE WOULD NEVER -- HE WOULD NEVER

INTENTIONALLY HURT ANYBODY.

GRAY, NBC NEWS, WEST PLAINS,

MISSOURI.

>> WHAT A FAR CRY FROM

YESTERDAY.

THIS TOOL WORKED PERFECTLY

DURING THE STORMS.

THE WVTM LIVE DOPPLER.

TODAY, IT'S SHOWING US THAT

EVERYTHING IS NICE AND QUIET.

IT WILL STAY THAT WAY FOR A

WHILE.

I DON'T THINK WE'LL HAVE ANY

ACTIVE WEATHER TONIGHT, TOMORROW

OR WEDNESDAY.

PPROBABLY WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND

THURSDAY WILL BE THE NEXT TIME

WE GET SOME STORMS.

WINDS WERE A FACTOR.

17 MILES PER HOUR IN TUSCALOOSA.

15 IN JASPER.

22 IN BIRMINGHAM.

18 IN SPRINGVILLE.

IT WILL NEVER GO CALM BUT THE

WIND WILL DIMINISH AS THE BIG

STORM PULLS AWAY.

WE'RE AT THE SOUTHERN EDGE OF

ITS CIRCULATION.

THE STORMS THEMSELVES ARE NOW UP

IN PENNSYLVANIA AND SURROUNDING

AREAS, SO GOOD RIDDANCE.

THEY ARE GONE FROM US AND THEY

WON'T BE COMING BACK SOON.

STILL WINDY AT 7:00.

74 DEGREES.

GETTING COOL BY 9:00.

MID-60s DOWN TO ABOUT 60 OR SO

IT WILL FEEL ESPECIALLY COOL

BECAUSE THE HUMIDITY IS MUCH,

MUCH LOWER TODAY.

AND THAT MAKES THE AIR FEEL JUST

A BIT COOLER.

TAKING YOU THROUGH THE NEXT FEW

DAYS, THERE WILL BE SOME

SIGNIFICANT CHANGES, JUST NOT IN

THE NEAR TERM.

SKIES OVERHEAD STAY CLEAR.

TOMORROW MORNING AT 8:30.

SUNSHINE SKIES ACROSS THE AREA.

GOING FORWARD, IN FACT, TOMORROW

WILL BE A BEAUTIFUL DAY.

NOT AS WINDY AS TODAY.

STILL SOME BREEZE.

SUNSHINE ALL DAY.

VERY PLEASANT TEMPERATURES.

LOW HUMIDITY.

ENJOY TOMORROW.

JUST A BEAUTIFUL DAY AND PRETTY

NICE ON WEDNESDAY.

THIS IS WEDNESDAY MORNING AT

7:30.

AT THAT POINT MOSTLY SUNNY SKIES

ACROSS THE AREA.

AS WE GO FORWARD IN TIME A FEW

MORE CLOUDS WILL DEVELOP LATER

ON WEDNESDAY.

THIS MODEL HINTS AT A LITTLE

SHOWER UP THERE IN THE

NORTHEAST.

I DON'T THINK THAT WILL HAPPEN

BUT HERE'S THE BIG STUFF.

WE GET INTO THURSDAY MORNING.

THIS IS EARLY THURSDAY MORNING

ABOUT 5:30 A.M.

SIGNATURE LINE OF SHOWERS AND

THUNDERSTORMS CROSSING THE AREA.

NOT SURE IF IT WILL BE UNSTABLE

ENOUGH AT THAT POINT FOR SEVERE

WEATHER BUT CERTAINLY THERE WILL

BE HEAVY DOWNPOURS, GUSTY WINDS,

PLENTY OF LIGHTNING AND THUNDER.

OBVIOUSLY, DEPENDING ON THE

TIMING OF THIS IT COULD

CERTAINLY IMPACT THE MORNING

RUSH-HOUR ON THURSDAY.

I THINK BEYOND THAT POINT SOME

LINGERING SHOWERS DURING THE DAY

ON THURSDAY BUT MOST OF THE REAL

ACTION PROBABLY WILL BE GONE BY

THEN.

TONIGHT, GETTING COOLER.

53 THE LOW TEMPERATURE.

CLEAR SKIES.

WIND DIMINISHING.

TOMORROW, A PERFECT DAY.

SUNNY SKIES.

83.

LOW HUMIDITY.

A LITTLE BIT OF A BREEZE.

JUST A GREAT DAY.

SEVEN-DAY FORECAST, BEYOND THAT

POINT, AS WE GET INTO WEDNESDAY,

NICE DURING THE DAY.

AFTERNOON CLOUDS.

SHOWERS AND STORMS LATE AT NIGHT

INTO THURSDAY.

IT LOOKS LIKE WE TURN WINDY AND

COOLER ON FRIDAY.

IN FACT, LATTER PART OF THIS,

NLESS THEY KNOW FOR

CERTAIN.

SHAUN: LOOKING AHEAD TO WEATHER,

METEOROLOGIST JAY GALLE IS HERE

WITH A CHECK ON IT FOR US.

JAY: BEAUTIFUL DAY TODAY.

AS WE GET INTO WEDNESDAY, THINGS

ARE GOING TO BREAK DOWN AND

CHANGE.

THAT IS WHEN WE HAVE A COLD

FRONT HEADED OUR WAY.

SATELLITE AND RADAR LOOPS

SHOWING YOU HOW NICE IT IS.

BECAUSE FRONT IS OFF TO OUR

EAST.

SLOWLY PUSHING OFF THE EAST

COAST THAT WE HAVE THAT HIGH

PRESSURE IN PLACE.

LOTS OF SUNSHINE, BEAUTIFUL

CONDITIONS.

HUMIDITY IS RELATIVELY LOW.

80 DEGREES.

SO FAR THAT HAS BEEN THE HIGH.

THE AVERAGE, 82.

THE RECORD, 91.

I THINK WE'RE GOING TO BE ABOVE

THE AVERAGE TOMORROW AS WE START

TREATING A CAP BIT WARMER.

WE ARE BASICALLY IN THE

UPPER-70'S TO LOW-80'S.

81 IN GALLIANO.

80 AT THE AIRPORT IN KENNER AND

A PAIR OF 82'S IN HAMMOND AND

BOGALUSA.

THE WIND SPEED ABOUT FIVE MILES

PER HOUR.

LET'S TALK ABOUT WHAT IS GOING

TO HAPPEN OVER THE NEXT COUPLE

OF DAYS.

WARM AND SUNNY BEFORE

WEDNESDAY'S COLD FRONT.

AFTER THE COLD FRONT, IT IS

GOING TO BE A LITTLE BIT COOLER

AND A LITTLE BIT DRYER.

-- BIT DRIER.

HERE WE ARE WATCHING ALL OF THIS

MESS BEING PUSHED ONTO THE

PACIFIC NORTHWEST.

ALL THIS ENERGY IS GOING TO BE

DROPPING IN OUR DIRECTION AND

THAT IS GOING TO GENERATE A

PRETTY POTENT UPPER-LEVEL LOW

AND THAT IS GOING TO GET THAT

COLD FRONT FISHING IN OUR

DIRECTION.

HIGH PRESSURE IN CONTROL,

FAIRWEATHER, AS WE GET INTO

TOMORROW EVENING, TAKE A LOOK AT

YOUR SIDE TIM -- AT YOUR

TIMESTAMP.

STILL LOOKING GOOD WEDNESDAY

MORNING.

NOTICE WHERE ALL THE CHILD COVER

IS -- THE CLOUD COVER IS.

I DID PUT ABOUT A 30% CHANCE OF

RAIN ON WEDNESDAY DESPITE HOW

DRIVE THIS LOOKS.

I THINK WE COULD SEE A FEW

ISOLATED SHOWERS.

--I DID PUT ABOUT A 30% CHANCE

OF RAIN ON WEDNESDAY DESPITE HOW

DRY THIS LOOKS.

COULD BE SOME SEVERE WEATHER.

WINDS, MAYBE A LITTLE BIT OF

HAIL.

BY THE TIME WE GET TO 9:00 A.M.

ON THURSDAY, THE FRONT IS MOVING

OUT BEHIND THAT COOLER AND DRIER

AIR THAT WILL BE FILTERING IN.

NORTH SHORE, STAYING COOL.

SIMILAR SITUATION ON THE SOUTH

SHORE.

UPPER-50'S, LOW-60'S.

TOMORROW IS OWING TO BE NICE,

MID-TO-UPPER-80 FOR THE MOST

HEART.

-- FOR THE MOST PART.

THE HUMIDITY IS GOING TO SLOWLY

BE RETURNING.

TOMORROW SHOULD BE OK IF FAR AS

HUMIDITY GOES.

30% CHANCE OF RAIN ON WEDNESDAY

AND A 40% CHANCE MAINLY IN THE

MORNING.

THIS FRONT CLEARS UP BY ABOUT

9:00 OR 10:00.

TEMPERATURES WILL BE

COMFORTABLE, ABOUT 72 FOR OUR

HIGH.

THE SECOND DAY OF JAZ FEST,

YOU'RE NOT GOING TO NEED AN

UMBRELLA OR A PONCHO.

SHORTS FOR EVERYONE AND

DOWNRIGHT PERFECT.

Y: Tappas, right? タパスね。

K: So it's like an Izakaya, right? だから、居酒屋みたいな感じ?

Y: That's right. You could say that. そそそ。いわゆる、ね。

K: But in those places if you order a drink it comes with something, right? あれでしょ、あそこ、一杯飲んだら付いてくるんですよね?

Y: Yes, some places are like that. そういう所もある。

K: The place I went to was like that. 私の行ったとこ、そうでした。

5 Investigates: 'Something could've been done. It was preventable.' - Duration: 3:10.

A COUPLE SHOWERS IN THE MORNING

COMMUTE.

WE WILL TALK ABOUT THE REST OF

THE WEEK IN A LITTLE WHILE.

BEN: THANK YOU VERY MUCH.

HEARTBREAKING AND TROUBLING.

THAT'S HOW SOME PEOPLE ARE

DESCRIBING THE VIDEO OBTAINED BY

5 INVESTIGATES SHOWING THE LAST

FEW HOURS OF A YOUNG MAN'S LIFE.

EMILY: HE WAS IN STATE CUSTODY

AND HEADED FOR ADDICTION HELP

BUT OVERDOSED AND DIED IN THE

BACK OF A SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT

TRANSPORT VAN.

KATHY CURRAN WITH THE REACTION

TONIGHT.

KATHY?

KATHY: WE FOUGHT FOR ACCESS TO

THAT VIDEO FOR MORE THAN A YEAR.

IT SHOWS 29-YEAR-OLD SAM DUNN

DIDN'T GET THE MEDICAL CARE HE

NEEDED AFTER GOING TO THE

HOSPITAL FOR HELP.

AND TONIGHT LEADERS ON THE FRONT

, LINES OF THE OPIOID EPIDEMIC

ARE CALLING FOR CHANGE.

THIS VIDEO, EXCLUSIVELY OBTAINED

BY 5 INVESTIGATES, SHOWS SAM

DUNN HOURS BEFORE HE OVERDOSED

AND DIED IN THE BACK OF A

SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT VAN.

THE 29-YEAR-OLD PACES IN THE

CELL.

AT TIMES, HE LOOKS LIKE HE IS

READY TO PASS OUT AND GRABS HIS

CHEST OR IN WHAT APPEARS TO BE

SOME KIND OF SEIZURE.

>> I AM STILL SICKENED BY IT.

HE WAS OBVIOUSLY SUFFERING.

KATHY: JOIN PETERSON HEADS UP

LEARN TO COPE, AN ORGANIZATION

THAT GIVES HELP TO FAMILIES

IMPACTED BY THE OPIOID EPIDEMIC.

SHE WAS TROUBLED BY THE WAY SAM

WAS TREATED.

HE WENT TO THE HOSPITAL FOR HELP

WITH DEPRESSION AND SUBSTANCE

ABUSE, AND RECORDS SHOW THAT

MEDICAL STAFF KNEW HE INGESTED

ILLEGAL DRUGS WHILE IN THE

EMERGENCY ROOM, BUT THEY

DISCHARGED HIM AND ADDITION THE

COURT, WHERE HE WAS CIVILLY

COMMITTD TO SUBSTANCE ABUSE

TREATMENT AND PICKED UP BY ESSEX

COUNTY.

ESSEX OFFICIALS HAVE SAID THEY

HAD NO IDEA SAM DUNN NEEDED

MEDICAL HELP.

>> RATHER THAN LEAVING SOMEONE

IN THAT SITUATION, IF THERE WAS

A RECOVERY COACH OR SOMEONE YOU

WORKED FOR THE DEPARTMENT WHO

ALSO IS TRAINED IN ADDICTION WHO

CAN RECOGNIZE THE SIGNS AND

SYMPTOMS OF AN OVERDOSE, I SAW

THEM ON THE VIDEO.

KATHY: AFTER ANNOUNCING FUNDING

FOR PREVENTION PROGRAMS, THE

STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL SAID THE

STATE HAS TO CONTINUALLY ADJUST

FOR THE ONGOING BATTLE.

>> OUR JOB AND LAW ENFORCEMENT

IS TO MAKE SURE AT EVERY STEP

THE RIGHT POLICIES, THE RIGHT

FACT THIS IS ARE IN PLACE AND TO

MAKE SURE RESOURCES ARE

AVAILABLE.

KATHY: THIS IS THE LAST TIME SAM

DUNN IS SEEN ALIVE.

SIX HOURS LATER, HE WAS STILL IN

THE BACK OF THAT VAN, AND HE WAS

NOT BREATHING.

>> SOMETHING COULD HAVE BEEN

DONE.

>> IT WAS PREVENTABLE.

>> IT WAS PREVENTABLE.

KATHY: THE ESSEX COUNTY

SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT HAS ADDED

NEW POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

SINCE SAM DUNN'S DEATH,

INCLUDING NARCAN TRAININ

CAMERAS IN TRANSPORT VANS, AND

CHECKING ON PEOPLE IN THEIR

Driver, 71, pleads not guilty in crash that killed pedestrian downtown - Duration: 1:53.

WHAT'S LEFT OF 71-YEAR-OLD

SHARON FELTON'S HONDA CRV

REFLECTS HOW VIOLENT THE CRASH

IN EARLY MARCH WAS.

>> I DEFINITELY BELIEVE IT'S A

TRAGIC ACCIDENT.

TODD: WHAT FELTON'S ATTORNEY

CALLS AN ACCIDENT, CINCINNATI

POLICE CALL VEHICULAR HOMICIDE

AND VEHICULAR MANSLAUGHTER.

OFFICERS SAY AFTER ANOTHER CAR

HIT HER SUV, FELTON STEPPED ON

THE GAS, HIT A CONSTRUCTION

FENCE AND A BOOTH IN A PARKING

LOT BEFORE RUNNING INTO

73-YEAR-OLD BARBARA

VANDENBROECK.

DETECTIVES SAY FELTON NEVER TOOK

HER FOOT OFF THE ACCELERATOR AS

SHE DROVE IN A CIRCLE NEAR 8TH

AND SYCAMORE, STRIKING

VANDENBROECK A SECOND TIME,

KILLING HER.

TODAY, FELTON PLEADED NOT

GUILTY.

>> WE'RE MAINTAINING THAT MS.

FELTON IS NOT AT FAULT AT ALL ON

THIS ACCIDENT.

WE'RE MAINTAINING SOMEBODY ELSE

ACTUALLY CAUSED THIS ACCIDENT

AND CAUSED THE DEATH OF BARBARA.

TODD: INITIALLY, POLICE SEEMED

TO AGREE.

AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT,

THEY TOLD US THE DRIVER WHO

INITIALLY HIT FELTON FAILED TO

MAKE A REQUIRED TURN, STARTING

THE DEADLY CHAIN OF EVENTS.

BUT THESE COMPLAINTS SHOW POLICE

NOW THINK FELTON COMMITTED

SEVERAL DIFFERENT TRAFFIC

VIOLATIONS.

AT THIS POINT WE HAVE

MULTIPLE CHARGES FOR THREE

TOTALLY DIFFERENT TRAFFIC

VIOLATIONS, WHICH LEADS ME TO

BELIEVE YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT SHE

DID.

YOU'RE LITERALLY TRYING TO

FIGURE OUT WHICH ONE SHE DID AND

WHICH ONE THEY THINK SHE SHOULD

BE GUILTY OF.

AND WE HAVE A 71-YEAR-OLD HE

WHO HAS NO DRIVING HISTORY, NO

RECORD.

WE'LL BE FIGHTING IT.

TODD: WHILE THE CASE AGAINST

FELTON IS JUST BEGINNING,

VANDENBROECK'S LOVED ONES ARE

STILL COMING TO TERMS WITH THE

END OF HER LIFE.

IN THE HOURS AFTER THE CRASH,

VANENDBROECK'S FAMILY ISSUED A

STATEMENT, SAYING, IN PART,

BARBARA WAS A LOVING MOTHER,

GRANDMOTHER, SISTER,

SISTER-IN-LAW, AND FRIEND WHO

WAS LOVED BY ALL WHO KNEW HER

AND WHO RETURNED THE LOVE

WITHOUT HESITATION.

I'VE TRIED TO REACH CINCINNATI

POLICE TRAFFIC DIVISION TO

CLARIFY THE CHANGE IN WHAT

INVESTIGATORS SAY CAUSED THE

CRASH.

SO FAR, MY CALLS HAVE NOT BEEN

RETURNED.

THE CHARGES AGAINST SHARON
