Business analysts analyze data to find different insights that will drive a

business impact, and we analyze products and we drive decisions around those

products, and figure out how how to make a product better—what users like.

We really want to understand our users and your main role is to make sure we have a

really strong culture around data and using data to inform and drive our

decisions. We're all very passionate about data, we get very excited about

looking at a new data source. There are just a million questions that you have

to ask before you launch and after you launch. What are we trying to make happen?

How can we prove that quantitatively? And are we confident in that?

Right now I'm

in the YouTube data science team. We guide all of YouTube on things like

product direction through experimentation and analysis. We want to make developers

successful, so we look at what developers think success looks like and try to help them achieve that.

Being a product analyst at Google is unpredictable but

it's always exciting. Google has a unique scale which is very global, which you're

not gonna get anywhere else. So even if you make a small improvement, when you

multiply that by a billion that can definitely be worth your time. To have a

say in the direction that data science is going is something that really sets

apart that experience at Google over other companies.

Google encourages you to be open with your manager and have your

managers support you in looking for something that is going to be fulfilling

for you professionally and personally. Google is set up as a company to allow

people to take risks. In some cases you're taking a chance at looking at

that data when the business or the rest of the world thinks it's geeky or

ridiculous. If we never try we'll never know.

Things to Do When You Get a New Credit Card | Best Practices & Tips to Help Manage Your New Card - Duration: 4:29.

Hi there, it's Ernest from Trip Astute. In this video, I'm gonna share with you

some things that I do whenever I get a new credit card.

Getting a new credit

card can be exciting, especially if there's a generous opening bonus

associated with it. Even for those of us that have been

collecting points for years, there is something really exciting about getting

approved and knowing that you might be earning a large opening bonus. Okay, I

know I'm a nerd. However, I can say from personal experience that I've messed up

a few times when getting a new credit card.

In fact, I once accidentally forgot to pay my statement balance, and even missed

my window for my opening bonus. So today, I want to share some tips to take when

you get a new credit card. Some of these might seem very obvious or basic, but I

think it's worth reviewing even if you're experienced in the points and

miles hobby. Number 1: Set-up auto-pay. You should always pay off your statement

balance, and the best way to do it is to automate the payment process. You can do

this with all issuers. I usually just opt to pay off the balance due on my

statement. Not to be confused with the minimum balance due. You definitely want

to pay the full statement balance and not just the minimum balance. Doing this

means you'll never get hit with a late payment or interest fee. It's probably

the most important thing that I do when I get a new card, and I highly suggest

setting it up as soon as you receive a new credit card. Also, if you're planning

to use your new credit card with reoccurring expenses or subscriptions,

like a utility bill or gym membership, then make sure you set it up with those

vendors. Number 2: Set up notifications. I've set up my accounts so that I receive a

mobile notification if there's any charge on the account. I like to use the

notification to remind me to update my expenses in You Need a Budget. I also

find it useful to keep track of any unauthorized charges. To be safe, I also

recommend setting up a notification for gas stations and international charges.

Stolen card numbers are often used at gas stations, so it's a good practice to

monitor those charges. Number 3: Plan your strategy for meeting your minimum spend.

If you're chasing an opening bonus, then it's worthwhile to plan out how you're

going to meet the minimum spend. If you need some ideas, check out

our video on the topic. Number 4: Add your card to a tracker.

I like to log when I get a new card so I can keep track of my application

history and bonuses. If you need a tracker, check out our free credit card

tracker on Google Sheets. I'll include a link below, but if you want to see more

details, check out our "How to keep track of credit cards" video. Number 5: Merge

credit cards from the same issuer under one view. For some reason, when I apply

for new cards, I sometimes get a separate login for that card, even though I have

other cards from the same issuer under a different login. If this happens to you, I

suggest calling the issuer to have your cards merged under the same login and

view. That way, you can monitor all your cards from the same issuer without

having to manage multiple sign-ins. Also, this can be useful if you have a

separate personal and business account. For example, I have two Chase Ink Business

cards and some Chase personal cards. I called Chase to see if I could merge the

views and they ended up moving all my personal credit cards into my business

account view. So now I can see all my cards under one view, which saves me time

and effort. Number 6: Save card details in a password manager. I like to save my

card number expiration date and security code in my password manager. It's a

secure and encrypted database, and it's a good place to keep your details in case

you lose your card or need to make a payment without your physical card in

hand. I personally use 1Password as my password manager, but there are several

options on the market. Fiona uses LastPass and seems to like it

a lot. Number 7: Opt for paperless statements. This is not only a more

eco-friendly option, but it also reduces the chance of your statement being

stolen or lost in the mail. With identity theft on the rise, it's important to

minimize the opportunities for someone to steal your information. And those are

chroma and the whole process we're going to do with an android phone without using

computer applications

first of all as I said before I go a couple of tips for the chroma to come out with a

decent quality

first of all we need a fund with a uniform color that uniform color can

be a table for example but it is essential that the color is different from the color of

objects that we will show then if the color it's similar we're going to cut out the objects by

the areas of the same color remaining really wrong,

if what we are going to show is small size we can use colored cardstock

smooth and of different color

a detail to keep in mind is to have good illuminated the cardboard so that the object

let's put forward do not project your shadow Well, as we can see, there is an area that goes dark

and it would not look good

now we turn to the android application that we are going to use, this application is very easy

to use, is not the typical video editor but it only serves to make videos with

chroma effect and also is completely free and without watermark

So from here we chose a video with the chroma, I'm going to choose one that I already had

a video that I did previously and now I choose a photo and the only drawback of this

application is that it does not allow to choose videos as a background so we must choose a photo

of a landscape or what we want

alright now let's go to the option that is called color key and we will choose the color we want

suppress by the background photo and as we see the fund disappears and we have perfect

mixed the photo with the video, if what we want it is a partial chroma effect that is to say that no

occupy the whole screen because we do the same steps and when we click on color key we select

Jurgen Klopp put his Liverpool squad through their paces at the Estadio do Dragao on Tuesday, ahead of their Champions League clash with Porto.

The Reds are in the knockout stages of Europes top-tier tournament for the first time since 2009, and a two-legged tie with Sergio Conceicaos in-form Porto awaits.

Having flown to Portugal on Tuesday afternoon, Klopp and his side continued preparations in front of the cameras soon after, as the German fine-tunes his selection.

Klopp has a near fully fit squad to call upon on Wednesday, with heavy-hitters Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino all involved in training.

Loris Karius is confirmed to be keeping his place in the side ahead of Simon Mignolet, with the 24-year-old having started in each of Liverpools Champions League games so far.

After a seven-month layoff Nathaniel Clyne has returned to the fold, and is part of the travelling squad for this weeks post-Porto training camp in Marbella.

Joe Gomez was also among those involved at the Estadio do Dragao, suggesting the 20-year-old could be part of Klopps squad after missing the last two games with a knee injury.

Speaking ahead of the game, Klopp said on a good day we are really strong, but we need to be outstandingly strong to get a result tomorrow at Porto.

Virgil van Dijk will be among his starters as he aims for a crucial victory, with the Dutchman likely to be partnered by either Dejan Lovren or Joel Matip.

Liverpools last clash with Porto came over 10 years ago, when Rafa Benitez led his side to a 4-1 group-stage victory at Anfield.

The hope will be that Klopp inspires a similar performance, as the Reds plot to cement their status as this seasons dark horses in the Champions League.

Unlike every other Olympics in history, the 2018 Winter Olympics has set a foul new tone

that we hope doesn't carry on through future competitions.

The ratings of the games suffering because of it, as Americans are sick of athletes inserting

divisive messages where they don't belong.

However, now, Olympians are being punished too for all the wrong reasons, proving that

politics mixed into sports are here to stay.

What won't be around for long, are the spectators who are about to boycott bigger than they

did with the NFL.

The US Olympic Committee already proved that what's most important isn't athlete's

ability, it's diversity.

They don't like that there's a disproportionate amount of white Olympians, to those of different

races and sexual orientations.

They've even compiled a list of qualifications for winning medals, which showed that Golds

should be handed out in an affirmative action style, rather than on actually being the best

in your sport if you're white.

While it seemed like the Olympics couldn't have gotten further off track from the point

of the competition being about unity and rewarding excellence, the International Olympic Committee

just made it worse with what they ordered two white athletes on Team USA to do.

The US Hockey team has come under scrutiny before by the US Olympic Committee who said

that there were too many white players on the team and needed to make it more diverse.

However, now's it's what's on the female goalie's helmets that has landed them in

hot water for being too American.

In a time when a lot of athletes on Team USA are being anti-American and against our administration,

it's nice to see players being patriotic and proud to represent our country.

The committee doesn't see it that way.

USA Today reports:

USA Hockey is working with the IOC to see whether goalies Nicole Hensley and Alex Rigsby

really will have to remove the Statue of Liberty from their goalkeepers masks.

USA Hockey spokesman Dave Fischer said on Tuesday "discussions are ongoing" after

the IOC said earlier the images would have to be removed.

The IOC views the image as a possible violation of its policy against political symbols.

The rule from the IOC Guidelines Regarding Authorized Identifications: No item may feature

the wording or lyrics from national anthems, motivational words, public/political messaging

or slogans related to national identity.

Hensley's Statue of Liberty image is on the left side of her mask, and Rigsby's

is on her chin.

Neither goalie played in USA's opening 3-1 win against Finland.

Maddie Rooney was the starter.

What is possibly "too political" about a patriotic symbol?

The Olympics are supposed to be a place of pride for each athlete's individual country

and there's nothing divisive about the Statue of Liberty, in fact, it represents the first

sight seen be many immigrants who came to America to pursue freedom and achieve their

dream – just like the Olympics.

What is actually "too political" is the from the Olympic committees to ensure diversity

among the athletes and not their actual ability, while putting a priority on fairness and equality.

This isn't just a decision the US Committee made on their own, they are forced by outside

government to do so.

"The USOC and the governing bodies for each sport are required by law to submit a report

to lawmakers every four years detailing the participation of minorities, as well as women

and disabled individuals," IJReview reported.

"Additionally, the USOC requires the governing bodies to fill out an annual 'diversity

scorecard,' as Maese describes it."

"We wanted to see what that diversity looks like, how we could measure it, track it,"

Thompson said.

"That has had an incredible impact.

I think it means we're being transparent with our fans, so people can see, No. 1, it's

a priority, and, No. 2, we're being honest about it.

In some areas, we got some work to do."

Ultimately, the IOC decided to allow the goalies keep the image of Lady Liberty on their helmets,

but that doesn't change the fact that it came under criticism in the first place.

Furthermore, why was this image brought under question while all other patriotic and possibly

political imagery present on all other athletes at the game not?

If the Statue of Liberty was called into question for the reasons stated, then all other anthems

and flags from around the world on uniforms should have been a problem for the IOC too.

The real issue is that committee clearly sees America as an issue.

Some of our athletes such as anti-Trump/Pence figure skater Adam Rippon, racist speedskater

Shani Davis, and Trump-hating downhill skier Lindsey Vonn, have not helped in proving otherwise

– they only perpetuate the problem.
