Before you schedule your first appointment with Fons, there are a few housekeeping items
to take care of.
Upon signing in for the first time, you'll be asked to setup your organization.
The first part is entering your organization business name and contact information.
The information entered here will be what clients will see
when they schedule with you.
You may want this to be different from your personal contact info.
Next is your default appointment duration.
This is what you would consider the optimal appointment length for your business.
When you schedule a new appointment, this will be the default duration
but don't worry, you can always change it as you create new appointments
Then choose whether you wish to bill your clients based on an hourly rate, a subscription
plan, or offer both.
The hourly rate is the standard rate for new clients.
So if you have an hourly rate of $100, a 30 minute appointment will be billed for $50.
Subscription-based billing consists of a rate and time period.
It has the benefit of upfront collection of the subscription fee, which happens following
the first confirmed appointment with your client.
You determine the number of appointments per subscription, simply by how many appointments
you schedule within the subscription period
Next, select a cancellation policy window.
Your clients will agree to this policy, as part of signing up and joining you on Fons.
Any cancellations by your clients within this window, will still charge them.
However, you will have the opportunity to not enforce the charge if it's an excused
absence.
Finally, click the "continue" button to submit the form.
Now you're ready to schedule your first appointment on Fons.
