Jim Brown, arguably the greatest running back of all time, came out with some brutal advice

for free agent quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

Brown, a notable social activist himself, laid out an ultimatum in front of Kaepernick

that many supporters of the controversial quarterback will not want to hear.

While Brown is definitely on the same side as Kaepernick in terms of his social causes,

he believes Kaepernick is not going about this the right way.

"I want to be in his corner, and I do think, 'God bless him,'" Brown said in an interview

with The Post Game.

But Brown believes Kaepernick has to make a decision.

"Colin has to make up his mind whether he's truly an activist or he's a football player,"

the Hall of Famer said.

"Football is commercial.

You have owners.

You have fans.

And you want to honor that if you're making that kind of money."

"You have to understand there's intelligence that's involved, OK?

I can't be two things at once that contradict each other.

If I sign for money, then the people I sign with, they have rules and regulations,"

he added.

But Brown saved his harshest criticisms for the actual protesting of the anthem itself.

"I'm going to give you the real deal: I'm an American.

I don't desecrate my flag and my national anthem," Brown said.

"I'm not gonna do anything against the flag and national anthem.

I'm going to work within those situations.

But this is my country, and I'll work out the problems, but I'll do it in an intelligent

manner," he added.

Brown said Kaepernick's method of protest does more to draw attention to himself than

his cause.

"If you have a cause, I think you should organize it, present it in a manner where

it's not only you standing or sitting on one knee, but a lot of people that is gonna

get behind each other and do something about it," Brown said.

"If I ask you one question: Who is Colin calling on to follow what he's talking about?"

Brown has made reaching out to troubled inner-city youths one of his primary advocacy causes.

He founded Vital Issues in 1986 to help educate youth and keep them away from gangs.

Vital Issues became Amer-I-Can in 1989 and continued to do similar work.

Brown - 81, played for the Cleveland Browns from 1957-1965, and was a key member of the

team's 1964 NFL championship squad.

He is a member of the college football and pro football halls of fame.

6 Prostate Cancer Common Causes and How to Prevent it - Duration: 11:55.

6 Prostate Cancer Common Causes and How to Prevent it. According to the American National Cancer Institute, after skin cancer, prostate cancer is the most common type of cancer in men, and 1-in-7 will be diagnosed with it during their lifetime. This is quite the troubling statistic, especially since many men still don't even know where in their body the prostate is. As prostate cancer can be hard to discover from a lack of symptoms, it is important to recognize the risk factors. If you believe you are at risk for prostate cancer, talk to your doctor about being tested.

If you have multiple signs and symptoms of this problem, ask your doctor to check your health levels. Here are the top 10 early warning signs of prostate cancer that you must know.

1. Age

Age is a huge factor in your risk for prostate cancer. The statistics are shocking. 30% of men 50 and over already have prostate cancer. 80% of men 70 and over have prostate cancer. On average, the age of diagnosis of prostate cancer is 70 years old. Generally, the older the man, the greater the risk of developing prostate cancer. Agressive forms of prostate cancer can affect men at any age, but this is rare. If you are over 40 years old, it would be a smart idea to be proactive and get checked.

2. Genetics symptoms signs and symptoms treatment, cure, prostate, prostate cancer, causes of prostate cancer,

Family history can play a big part of your risk of prostate cancer. If your family has a history of prostate cancer, you may have a greater risk of developing it yourself. Having a close relative with prostate cancer can give you a 2-3 times larger chance of getting this disease. As of now, there is no specific gene responsible for the elevated risk of prostate cancer. As far as scientists can tell, the answers lie in multiple genes.

3. Exercise prevent prostate cancer, cure prostate cancer, 6 Prostate Cancer Common Causes and How to Prevent it,nci prostate cancer,

A new study has found a relationship between exercise and a lowered risk of prostate cancer in Caucasian men. The researchers found that men who were moderately to highly active had over a 50% reduction in their prostate cancer risk. Men who exercised in any amount had a 13% reduction in the risk of the agressive form of the disease. How much time you spend in the gym can directly affect the likeliness of you developing prostate cancer. A Harvard University study found that moderate physical exercise provides a boost to the immune system, encouraging it to produce "hunter cells" and protective chemicals that battle cancerous cells. In addition, it is speculated that burning fat also decreases prostate cancer risks.

4. Weight best treatment for prostate cancer, advanced prostate cancer symptoms, treatment of prostate cancer, facts about prostate cancer

Being overweight increases your risk of developing various forms of cancer, including prostate cancer. Overweight and obese men are also at risk for developing a more aggressive form of prostate cancer, according to a study from the San Diego Naval Medical Center. Weight has been shown to affect your risk of prostate cancer. Those with a higher body mass index are more at risk from dieting of agressive prostate cancer. Those with a lower body mass index have been shown to have less risk of dieting from agressive prostate cancer. Weight doesn't seem to affect your chance of getting the disease, but rather your likelihood of surviving it if you do.

5. Masturbation Habit prostate cancer medicine, prostate cancer support groups, bph, prostatectomy, prostate cancer treatment, prostate cancer facts

The more often a guy masturbates during his 20s, 30s, and 40s, the greater his risk for prostate cancer, concludes a study in the journal BJU International. The study authors say elevated levels of the hormone testosterone have been linked to higher rates of prostate cancer—and also to increased libido.

BREAKING: Trump Announces Massive Military Change to Start February 2018 | Top Stories Today - Duration: 2:27.

President Trump plans to send a memo outlining the implementation of his transgender troop

ban to the Pentagon soon, and liberals are already fuming.

The two-and-a-half page document, according to Reuters, apparently focuses on "deployability"

— the ability to serve in a combat theater — as the legal reasoning behind the change

that would ban transgender troops from the armed forces.

The document states non-deployable troops are to be removed from the services by February

of 2018.

In addition, the military must stop recruiting individuals who are non-deployable — which,

under the terms in the memo, would include transgender individuals.

It would also stop the Department of Defense from paying for transgender medical treatments,.

Needless to say, it didn't take long for liberals to lose their uplink to reality over

the proposal.

"It is unconscionable that the commander in chief would take aim at his own, loyally

serving troops for political reasons at a time when the military needs to focus on real

threats," Aaron Belkin, director of the Palm Center, told The New York Times.

The Palm Center is one of the think tanks that helped the Obama administration — in

its final days — to develop the policy to allow transgender individuals in the military.

"Imposing one set of standards for transgender troops, and another set of standards for everyone

else is a recipe for disruption, distraction and waste," Belkin added.

Apparently, stopping the military from paying for expensive, elective medical treatments

is "waste" to Mr. Belkin.

Who knew?

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi also weighed in on the anticipated decision, because of

course she did.

Whatever.

The military isn't an experiment or a tool for social engineering.

It's designed to keep America safe.

And, given that transgender troops apparently have different levels of deployability than

non-trangender troops, the decision is an obvious one.

Liberals may whine and squeal about it, but the fact is that the decision Obama made on

transgenders in his final year of office makes our country less safe.

That's why conservatives are going to love the new president's decision.
