During the most recent stop on his 4:44 tour, HOV paid tribute to Meek Mill by calling out
his unjust imprisonment and performing his track "Dreams and Nightmares " While performing
in Meek's hometown of Philadelphia on Friday, Jay told the crowd,
"That man is being stomped by the system.
That man is in jail for doing wheelies and breaking up a fight."
Many fans in attendance, in addition to Trey Songz and Yo Gotti, were seen sporting "Free
Meek" merch at the Wells Fargo center Friday night.
Jay added "Free Meek" before playing the same intro he performed alongside the Philly native
during Made in America in September.
Similar to the crowd's reaction when Meek surprisingly joined Jay on stage, the Philly
concertgoers lost it when Jay brought out the intro to Dreams and Nightmares.
During his show at the Wells Fargo Center, Jay reminded the crowd of how Colin Kaepernick
shed light on the racist institutions that continue to target people of color.
"That shit is not about inanimate objects.
It's about people dying.
It's about young people leaving their house and never coming back home.
And it's not a black and white issue.
It's a human issue.
Everybody should be fighting that."
HOV has been very vocal about his opinion regarding Meek's imprisonment.
In an op-ed he wrote in the New York Times, Jay wrote about the unjust racial prejudices
that prompted Meek's sentencing.
Meek is facing two to four years in prison for his probation violation.

We've just arrived at Phi Phi Island after a two hour ferry ride
When we got here we had to pay 20 Baht per person entrance
Or National Park fees
It's like a park fee or something
And I think the children
They're for free and we got this
gentleman taking
all our luggage including the kids
to the resort
It is quite windy
We had we had a lot of rain on the way here and you can see
it's soaking wet
It's been raining here all the time as well but luckily now the
rain has stopped so we can do the walk without getting wet
It's nice and windy so it's not too hot and it's beautiful.
I must tell you, you'll see the footage

southern side of the bay
here at Phi Phi
You can see it's a beautiful beach, all the
longtail boats.
This is south, you go to Phi Phi Lee, the Beach island there

we went yesterday

on the southern side, southern beach and then we go here

In my quest to show them
a couple of things I pick up two nice, three nice little ladies

even more spectacular

meters from the southern beach to the northern beach

And there's some rain on its way I guess
That's where we stay right at the end
and then there is the restaurants with all the music
About five restaurants, they're playing
the music so loud and they are in such competition with each other with their
fireworks and music
We staying on the other side about a kilometer away you can't sleep until
about 3:00 in the morning because the music's just too loud and then their behind
some nice rock formation
That's where Nui bay is, I've shot some
nice scenes there with the drone
I flew all the way from here, it's about 2,5 km away
and just on the other side is monkey beach also a beautiful little
beach
And there you might wonder what's between the two beaches well let me go and show you
So that and so much much more
are packed between these two beaches and as a
matter of fact if you don't do the detours like we do
There's the South Beach
right there at the end
Probably not even 200m
We're coming here to eat pizza

Our ferry leaves in exactly 1,5 hour
and we're enjoying a last ice cold beer at this beautiful place inland
Don't drink beer along the coastline, it's expensive. It's a 100 Baht
for one Chang
Such a great time
We've only been here for three days but
we enjoyed it.
The first day was the best day for going to the island
